(techno music)

- It's a ridiculous question.

- You mean it's a ridiculous question

because you don't have an answer,

or 'cause you don't believe in the afterlife?

- No, it's a ridiculous situation

because I am not planning on dying.

It's like asking Superman to stop being from space.

He can't stop being from space, Katie.

Space is who he is.

- Hey now, don't diminish yourself.

You're more than just a guy who's never gonna die.

- I wasn't fishing, but thank you.

- Okay, so then imagine, somehow, that you do die.

What kind of ghost would you wanna be?

- Easy. Force ghost.

- Like a Jedi?

- Solid choice.

- No, no, you can't be a force ghost, that's cheating.

You'd have to be a Jedi for your whole life,

and honestly that ship's kinda sailed.

- I still got time.

Okay, fine I'd be a ghost cop.

- Like a dead cop's ghost, or a policer of ghosts?

- Have you guys seen R.I.P.D.?

- This world's for the living,

and R.I.P.D's gonna keep it that way.

- Nope. - N.O.P.D.

- Okay, so, Ryan Reynolds dies,

and because he wasn't the most upstanding person in life,

he gets the opportunity to work

for the Rest in Peace Department,

where he just rounds up souls for heaven

as a way to, like, clean his slate.

- Like indentured servitude?

- More like working off a debt.

- So, indentured servitude?

- Yeah, like the Tooth Fairy.

- Anyway, if you're in the R.I.P.D.,

you get to stay on earth for at least another century,

and you get to keep doing all the same stuff

you would do when you were alive.

Plus, you get to be an undercover ghost cop,

and chase down illegal ghosts with a ghost gun

and other ghost toys, and a lot of props

from "Men in Black" for some reason.

- Can living people see you?

- Yes, but you're in disguise, so you look like a supermodel

or like, a girl scout,

or beloved character actor James Hong.

- Oh! Yeah!

I have seen this.

Isn't Kevin Bacon in it?

- [Soren] Yes.

- Have you noticed that the presence of Kevin Bacon

in a movie doesn't determine whether it's good or bad?

- Wait, but at the end of that movie,

Jeff Bridges and Ryan Reynolds get put on suspension

'cause they let a ghost drop his disguise

and go rampaging through the public.

- Yeah, so?

- Well, the terms of the suspension are that

if the higher powers that be decide to,

they can fire Jeff and Ryan and

completely erase them from existence.

Also, all the guns they use shoot bullets

that erase ghosts from existence, and

all the bad guy ghosts have the same guns.

So you're risking complete oblivion

every time you go out on the job as a ghost cop,

if you turn down the wrong blind alley and get shot,

or if you just get a bad performance review.

- I feel like you're being reductive to make me

look foolish, but yeah, that sounds like a nightmare.

- Sorry, I'm late.

Did you guys order without me?

- See, I prefer Patrick Swayze in "Ghost."

- Ooh, good film.

- Wait, you want to be a ghost

from the saddest ghost movie ever made?

- Yeah, I don't find it sad.

It's more bittersweet.

I mean, it's the most hopeful ghosthood

that exists in Hollywood.

You get to hang out in spirit limbo.

You get to meet interesting spirits.

You get to help your loved ones through a tough time.

Plus you get to use your ghost powers to thwart danger,

and then you get to go into Heaven like Patrick Swayze,

roundhouse kick helicoperting into eternity.

- So it's like freshman orientation but for dead people.

- Exactly.

You get to make new friends to help lessen the blow

of losing your loved ones,

and you get to beat Tony Goldwyn's ass,

and you get to kiss Demi Moore goodbye.

Is it Demi Moor or Demi Moh-er?

- Moor like Othello.

- Anyway, there's no bureaucratic rule book.

I mean, the only rule in Ghost

is that if you're a bad guy, you get dragged into Hell

by some shadow goblins, and frankly,

you kind of already rolled those dice when you were alive.

- I do love to roll dice.

I think I brought some, actually.

- Why do you have dice?

- They streamline every decision-making process.

- Wait a second.

So your preferred version of the afterlife

is just some esoteric waiting room

where you and a bunch of dead strangers

are powerlessly watching your loved ones forget about you

until you accidentally save them from some tragedy.

- Well, I feel like you're being a little reductive

to make me look foolish, but yeah.

- Ha ha!

Found 'em.

- Great.

Do you think you could roll them under the feet

of our waitress when she comes back,

to force her to stop and take my order?

- See, I want to be the kind of ghost

that gives her loved ones closure to move on,

not selfishly clinging to this mortal realm,

disguised as James Hong, who is still alive, by the way.

- Okay, so you help them move on.

But then what?

They get into Heaven after living another 30 years,

basically a whole lifetime without you?

I mean, would they even want to see you,

or would it just be horribly painful for everyone?

Ooh, would they even remember you?

- I know, right?

It's like that song Eric Clapton wrote about his dead kid.

- Oh, Jesus.

- Oh, I'm sorry, was that out of line?

I used the dice.

- No, it was on topic, it's just sad.

- Well, any spirited discussion of the afterlife

would be a miss without a mention

of the Ghostbusters anyway.

- [Narrator] Ghostbusters.

- Hey, anybody see a ghost?

- [Narrator] They catch the ghosts that won't stay dead.

- That's the kind of ghost I want to be.

- You want to be a ghost from Ghostbusters?

Or you want to be the ghost of a Ghostbuster?

I want to just post my statement busters, (beep) this.

- Think about it.

You can eat whatever you want.

You never have to sleep.

You can fly.

It's awesome.

You get to read a bunch of books.

- Hello.

- No, better, you could go to the movies for free, probably.

You could wreck a bunch of (beep),

commandeer public transport without a license.

I mean you basically do whatever we would do

to kill time anyway, except you never have to sleep,

and you never die.

Again.

I mean, you'd have to die the first time,

when you become a ghost, you died, so.

- Yeah, but you don't get to have any

meaningful interactions with people.

I mean, you're just stuck on Earth,

goofing off by yourself forever.

- That ghost ba-jay was deeply meaningful.

- Plus you end up looking like a terrifying

mutant version of yourself.

Like one of those awful caricatures

they charge way too much money for at amusement parks.

God, I got burned.

- And what about Casper?

- The friendly ghost?

- The friendliest ghost you know?

He looks like a mutant.

- Well, Casper explicitly takes place

in the same universe as Ghostbusters.

- Oh yeah, Dan Akroyd shows up

as Dr. Raymond Stantz with a mustache.

- And in Casper, all the ghosts in the world

can communicate with each other,

on like a secret ghost channel.

So I could just make a bunch of ghost pals if I want.

- Yeah, but he does carry on a weird relationship

bordering on felonious obsession with Christina Ricci.

- That's right, he does have like a weird

sexual interest in Christina Ricci.

And, we find out from a throwaway joke in the movie

that ghosts have penises.

- [High-Voiced Male Ghost] Who's got their

pointy head in my...?

- [Deep-Voiced Male Ghost] That's not my head.

- So ghosts could ostensibly have sex?

- Ghost ba-jay.

- Ooh, and Casper's uncles hang out doing

regular human stuff all the time.

I mean, they go to the race track,

they take Bill Pullman to a bar.

They spend barely any time at the house

that they are supposed to be haunting.

- Starting to sound pretty sweet.

Am I right?

- Yeah, but the ghosts are vulnerable to physics.

You can get launched across the room

with a toilet plunger or sucked into a vacuum.

Christina Ricci carries around a Dustbuster,

and it's enough to convince Casper's uncles

to stop screwing with her.

- Yeah, I mean you wouldn't even really

need Ghostbusters, just Joe and Jane homeowner

could exorcize a restless spirit with a home appliance.

- Boover vacuums, boos that.

- But not if you're their friend, though.

They're not going to ghost dust bust their friend.

- Yeah, but Casper is not a good friend.

He makes things awkward and weird

for Christina Ricci all the time.

And we find out at the end

that he'd been haunting his grieving father for so long

that he literally drove the man insane.

- So?

Just because Casper sucks at it,

doesn't mean I will.

I would be a great ghost pal.

- None of us are nodding.

- Okay, so we agree that no ghost situation is ideal,

but maybe Casper wins?

- (gasps)

- Yeah, I mean, I guess in Casper you get the most

freedom to interact with the living and the dead.

You can come and go as you please.

There doesn't seem to be any governing board

to banish you into nonexistence,

and you just got to look out for Dustbusters.

- Dead kids all day.

- Jesus, what is with you and dead kids tonight?

- Casper's a dead kid.

Look it up.

- Look at her.

I mean, she definitely sees me, right?

I mean, I don't want to be rude and scream,

but is it ruder to snap?

That's definitely worse, right?

Do I clap?

- Yeah, somebody should call Daniel.

I mean, I think it's a little weird

that he wasn't here an hour early to reserve our table.

- What?

- Ah, I'm going to countermand the dice and say no.

- I've been texting him, but he's not responding.

I just assumed he's driving here.

- Oh, I see what's going on.

You guys are Shyamalaning me because we've been

talking about ghosts for the past ten minutes.

I got you.

Son of a bitch, I'm dead, aren't I?

- That means the answer would have

something to do with Spiderman, right?

- Probably.

- Yes.

Of course it would.

- Didn't Uncle Ben come back as a ghost?

- No.

What?

No.

- No, he came back as Martin Sheen.

- Ah.

Who's Martin Sheen?

- What?

- [Michael] How funny would it be

if Dan died on the way here?

- [Dan] I'm remembering how I died, now.

- [Michael] And that's why he's not here?

Like what if he got in car crash.

- [Dan] There was a little girl in the road,

and she was going to get hit by a car.

- [Michael] That is hilarious.

- [Katie] That would be so funny!

- [Michael] It would be like super fitting.

- [Dan] Unrelated, a guy just stabbed me.

I wasn't going to help that girl.

PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds VS Fortnite Battle Royale - Which Should You Play? (PUBG VS Fortnite) - Duration: 10:04.

The concept of the Battle Royale has come a long way.

Drawing inspiration from Koshun Takami's Battle Royale novel, and Suzanne

Collins' Hunger Games trilogy, a number of battle royale themed games and mods, have

made their mark over the past several years making appearances in Minecraft

the ARMA series and DayZ along with some standalone games such as The Culling and

H1Z1: King Of The Kill and no matter what game it is the general goal remains the

same get placed into a map with a lot of people scrounge for weapons and

resources and fight for survival and hopefully you'll be the last one

standing and when the amount of surviving players is down to ten or less

for the strongest and smartest players that's when the real game begins today

we'll be focusing on two of the latest trending games in the Battle Royale

genre player unknowns battlegrounds or PUBG for short and Fortnite Battle

Royale many people are for one over the other so which one should you play let's

start with why so many people prefer PUBG. PUBG is currently the most popular

battle royale game in the world developed by player unknown or Brendan

Greene the creative director of Bluehole Studios it reflects his own vision of

what a battle royale game should play like Greene using his previous experience

from working on battle royale modes for ArmA DayZ and King of the Kill decided

to release his own standalone game naturally people tend to gravitate

toward the hottest trending games it's no secret that PUBG gains major

traction through the influence of popular twitch streamers and youtubers

with thousands upon thousands of daily viewers so much traction in fact that

during PUBG's meteoric rise to the top it managed to dethrone dota 2's all-time

peak of most players online on Steam surpassing its 1.2 million player record

with its own 2 million and Counting on twitch currently tango is alongside the

League of Legends warframe and hearthstone viewerships, a truly

impressive feat PUBG has gone with a realistic

graphical style while the graphics aren't mind-blowing by today's standards

a lot of gamers highly value a sense of visual realism in what they play weapon

models the inside of vehicles in the walls of buildings are well detailed in

both first and third person view for those preferring a more personal embody

experience this game even posts a first-person only mode all this helps

the player gets sufficiently immersed in the gameplay PUBG offers plenty of

tactical features for combat you can choose to either in third-person or aim

down the sights of your weapon in first-person for a better view of your

target you can lean around corners while aiming switch your third-person camera

shoulder to watch enemies more easily and go prone to hit the dirt if you're

getting shot at taking the time to understand these features helps you get

an edge on your adversaries in the middle of a gunfight furthermore these

features go hand in hand with PUBG's weapon modification system as you find

weapons littered across the battlegrounds so too will you discover

weapon mods like stocks scopes magazines and suppressors should the mods you find

be compatible with your weapons you will gain significant advantages such as more

bullets per magazine or the ability to engage targets more comfortably at

longer distances with a high magnification scope pop G has a very

large map that is time consuming to travel across purely by foot while not

impossible to do so some players like that there are vehicles available as an

option of course they'll need to find them to use them usually spawning next

to barren roads or inside garages players can find buggies motorcycles

UAZs & Dacias similarly on the coasts next to bodies of water PG 117 boats can

also sometimes be used as an alternative to crossing bridges by car or foot many

of these vehicles have riding capacities that allow entire squads of players to

quickly get from one location to another they're fast but loud and give away your

position to enemy players for miles around

it's a classic example of risk versus reward the chance to reach a destination

faster to gain a positional advantage at the cost of the element of surprise they

add even more to the exhilarating nature of the PUBG experienced PUBG also has

its own character customization storing cosmetics and special crates that can be

acquired by an in-game currency or on the steam marketplace these cosmetics

allow you to personalize your characters attire to your liking some of these

crates and items have real value in the steam marketplace with games come

invitational crates selling for $4 a piece and on the more expensive end of

the spectrum highly rare player unknown and school uniform cosmetics priced by

the players themselves anywhere from the hundreds to thousands of dollars to sum

up why people prefer PUBG it has realistic graphics tactical combat

weapon mods vehicles character customization and worldwide popularity

in direct competition to PUBG is Fortnite Battle Royale

developed by Epic Games it borrows many aspects of its gameplay from PUBG but

offers a plethora of unique features of its own that helps it stand out as a

solid contender in the Battle Royale market for the sake of this video I will

be referring to Fortnite battle royale as simply battle royale the first reason

why many people prefer to play battle royale is due to its free-to-play

business model battle royale itself is actually an individual PvP game mode

within Fortnite that has been released as free-to-play fortnight's PvE

counterpart save the world will also be free-to-play by 2018 literally anyone

with the proper specifications on Windows or Mac or owns a ps4 or Xbox one

can download and play battle royale free of charge once making the comparison to

pub G's $29.99 dollar price tag it's not hard for the budget savvy to make the

decision to try battle royale first this game also has its own cartoon like

visual style like something straight out of an animated cinematic it's strikingly

colourful ambience helps immerse the player in the game world

boasting bright day times lazy afternoons and sleepy evenings this game

features its very own day and night cycle that continues to transition from

the start to end of each match pub G in comparison selects a random single

ambience that persists throughout each match with no transitions also very

crucial to Battle Royale's identity as its unique base building feature

swinging a pickaxe at virtually any object in the game will net you

important resources for building your very own structures within the game

world wood stone and metal can be used to build walls floors stairs and roofs

wood having the lowest durability and metal being the toughest to destroy

using your resources to create defences around your vulnerable character is a

major key to survival make simple wood walls to create a cost-effective barrier

to cross open area safely or set up an impenetrable metal fortress atop a

massive hill stand your ground against a handful of

remaining survivors and hope none of them have a fort-busting RPG or grenade

launcher base building and destroying are among some of this game's most

intriguing aspects instead of adopting PUBG's weapon mod system Battle Royale

went with a rarity system these rarities are color-coded for easy recognition

going from common white to uncommon green rare blue epic purple and

legendary orange the rarer the weapon the more damage it can do most weapons

don't have scopes and are aimed only in third-person view the few exceptions to

this are the sniper rifles and the scope Dassault rifle battle Royales combat 2

is intentionally simplified by design the player character is always on the

left side of the screen and there is no option to switch the camera angle over

their left shoulder this means in combat players will always have a peak

advantage if they engage targets from the right side of cover as they will

expose less of their character this way there are no leaning options and

third-person or while scoped in and battle Royales map is smaller in

comparison to PUBG's forgoing the need for vehicles to sum these may seem like

negatives but to others the intentional simplicity theoretically converts into a

wider accessibility for more players whether you want a more tactical and

more massively popular offering in the form of Playerunknown's Battlegrounds or a

more cartoonish game focused around base building like Fortnite Battle Royale

both of these titles are incredibly addictive adrenaline-filled experiences

in their own right playing to our desire to fight for absolute victory no matter

which one you play making even the smallest mistake could mean permanent

death without the possibility of responding high stakes big thrills last

one standing whichever game you pick you're in for a wild ride

Suzy's Dilemma: Which Pair of Shoes Should I Wear? - Duration: 2:41.

Suzy's Dilemma: Which Pair of Shoes Should I Wear?

Suzy of Miss A may be perfect in all possible ways. Shes beautiful, cute, talented, and so on. But if there is one possible flaw that this seemingly perfect idol might have, its indecisiveness. .

Recently on V LIVE, she has demonstrated to us that although she is able to pay attention to even the smallest and most meticulous details by being able to see the difference between very similar looking shoes, she has also shown the audience that because of this ability, she takes much longer to decide on which pair of shoes to wear with her outfit.

She looks into the mirror to make have a final inspection of her full outfit before leaving the house.

Only to delay her departure for quite some time after coming to the conclusion that the pair of heels she has on isnt what she wants to wear.

She takes the ones she had on hilariously chooses another pair of heels that look almost identical.

Luckily for her, a staff member helps her out by telling her that the first choice is usually the best choice in the end.

After finally having made a decision, she reaches for the door and begins to head out.

But only to turn around again to see and make sure she made the right choice.

If we have anything to say, wed like to tell Suzy that she looks great in anything. And additionally, the first choice is really usually the best choice, in the end, so dont look back!.

Short pips or inverted rubbers, which rubber type is better? - Duration: 9:52.

My greetings to all table tennis lovers!

My name is Maxim Cherepnin

and in this video I will tell you

why people play with short pips, what are the strengths of short pips,

and what are their weaknesses.

I use short pips on both sides,

and although some table tennis lovers, who know me and my style of playing say, that it would be better for me to play with inverted rubbers,

I would not agree with them and the reason is:

I played in the Super League and won against Kogut and Belskiy,

who are the top players for me.

And I can't imagine that I gain such victories using inverted rubbers.

Because I probably would not be able to surprise such guys playing with inverted rubbers.

But playing with short pips and of course with intense practice and preparations – I could.

Somewhere they felt themselves uncomfortable.

Somewhere they underestimated me...

But I am absolutely sure that Belskiy played with 100% of his potential, because we played when team's score was 3:3.

But also Kogut in his first match underestimated me, and he lost.

Next time I played against him in Super League.

He was better prepared, he had a plan for that match,

and he uncovered some of my weaknesses of playing with short pips, he exposed and won against me.

So when somebody plays against short pips especially, considering that there are not so many players of such style,

he(she) should solve specific problems.

What is the significant difference between playing with inverted rubber and playing with short pips?

The main feature of inverted rubber is the spin.

I mean the ball is spinning by forehand loop and backhand loop, twisting. And now, as I'm a coach, I teach that

the key movement is a movement around the elbow, from the left and from the right.

You can "twist around" almost every ball, even if your legs aren't good. "Twist around" your elbow.

And if your legs are good, you can use your full hand and make the ball spinning. Your opponent has to estimate that spin,

to assume measures, it could be blocked or just return.

This decision should be based on the spin anyway.

Playing with short pips is based on the hit.

For sure, it is possible to spin the ball with short pips, and to smash with inverted rubber.

But the key feature is the hit anyway.

And the hitting technique, the strike, kicking the ball,

it is better to hit the ball with short pips, and not to spin the ball.

What is the difference between hitting with Gipfelsturm and hitting with inverted rubber like Tenergy?

The hit with Gipfelsturm has much more destructive effect. Because such hit is flat, fast, on the edge of the table.

And if you make a flat return, ball will fall under the table.

If you try to spin up, it is impossible to make a big amount of spin, and your trajectory would be too high.

And, accordingly, the player with short pips can attack again.

It means that such a problem needs to be solved. And if you did not practice enough, did not prepare yourself, you could run into difficulties.

And passive push is not the right decision, because there is an opportunity to continue the attack.

It is more comfortable to hit the balls, which are higher than the net, hitting them with short pips, like Waran, Degu or Keiler.

It is easy to destroy an opponent with just one hit. It is also possible to do this with inverted rubber, but the hit accuracy is smaller.

The same way if I would spin the ball with short pips. I was trying to play that style.

Because someone told me and I read some book, that spinning with short pips could not be successful, because that is no way for development.

Your opponent is getting accustomed to your spin, and you couldn't spin up very much.

I decided to argue against this statement and to test it with my own experience,

I played with spinning the ball, tried to counter loop every ball.

Later I'll tell which blades I used to achieve that effect.

But results… It was very comfortable to practice, I've been returning almost every ball, every loop,

but it was hard to play the tournaments, my results became worse, I started to lose.

My rating went down, and so on…

A tournament achievement determines everything.

If you experimenting and your rating was 40 and now is 30, it means that your experiments are going in the wrong direction.

But if you feel yourself uncomfortable, you don't like to play, but your rating goes up, it means that somewhere there is a possibility to progress.

What is another advantage about playing with short pips?

Another advantage is that sometimes the rallies are very short -

you come to an impact position, you hit the ball, captured the initiative, and win a point.

For example, even with return of the serve: your opponent makes the short serve – you can attack at once.

Of course, people who prefer using inverted rubbers

would say: it is possible to come to position and make a flip with a big amount of spin on some serve and capture the initiative.

That's true, but many players with the rating 50, 60, 70 practice a lot by playing against a flip.

I mean – serve, flip and after that counter loop.

But against flat short pips play, or sharp flick, or flat push you should make the right decision, and do it at the table

and during the time of the set, which lasts 3-4 minutes.

So that's why some difficulties arise. Even if I just return the opponent's serve, and if I do it with a high speed -

it's not easy to keep that high tempo. And to do something like playing against the inverted rubber.

When playing with short pips, of course, you should get into the right position with your legs,

you should find the upper point, when the ball that bounces from the table, is at the top.

It is most convenient to hit against the inverted rubber.

The blocks performed by Gipfelsturm, or even by the Waran – are very good too.

It looks so, as your opponent has taken the initiative, makes the loop, but if you get into the proper position and block it with high tempo -

you can intercept the initiative at once. If you played pretty fast,

the ball flies with pretty nasty spin, or rather without a spin.

Now you can see excerpts from some of my matches.

Some opponents feel pretty nervous playing against short pips.

Well, it is such particularity of playing with short pips, when balls fly in such, let me say, "nasty" manner.

Some of them are short, some long, sometimes the ball is undershoot, or just jumps in front of you.

Such style of play has rights to exist.

By the end, I want to add something about playing strategy with short pips.

Certainly, it is a searching for the weak ball from your opponent.

There are some opponents, who play very powerful forehand, and a little bit worse backhand.

Accordingly, the pressure for their backhand leads them to do a weak loop,

on which you can make a counter loop and finish the play, or capture the initiative by the block and perform a strong hit forehand or backhand.

There are opponents with a good forehand and backhand, so

it's necessary to build the strategy on their legs, make them move, so that they do not have enough time

to get to a proper position for the powerful hit. You have to search possibilities and put pressure on the weaknesses.

It is the same, like playing with inverted rubber, but with short pips you can just capture the initiative and win a ball immediately.

There is some danger to flat hit the high ball with a tensor rubber, because the catapult could throw ball away.

You make additional loop to the left under opponent's lob.

But with short pips you just make powerful abrupt hit.

Such that you can see on this video, I did it.

That's all for now, I hope I answered about a play with short pips.

In the next video we will talk about which blade is better for short pips play.

I will tell you about my research and observations.

That's all for now. Play table tennis!
