NFL Profits Just Reached A New Low – Here's How Awful Their Situation Really Is - Duration: 17:52.NFL Profits Just Reached A New Low – Here's How Awful Their Situation Really Is
The NFL protest controversy continues.
This madness was started last year by the former San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin
Kaepernick who refused to stand during the national anthem to protest against police
brutality and racial injustice.
More players followed his lead and joined the protest by kneeling during the national
anthem.
But, Americans are sick of watching how the NFL players are disrespecting our country,
flag and anthem.
Fans have started boycotting the league.
As a result, the NFL ratings and tickets sales.
However, TV broadcasters are facing the consequences as the NFL.
Conservative Fighters reported: CBS, which broadcasted many protests, is facing a huge
drop in the stock market.
On September 24, many players took the knee during the national anthem as a response to
President Trump's speech condemning the players who "disrespect the flag."
Below you can see that the stock prices after the protests.
CBS has suffered a major hit:
The protests affected everyone.
However, the number of players who protest during the national anthem has been decreased
and stock prices went up again.
However, a few days ago Vice President Mike Pence walked out of the NFL game between Indianapolis
Colts and Tennessee Titans.
Although the Colts stood, their arms were locked during the anthem.
The Vice President received criticism for his move, but he said that was the right thing
to do.
Thanks to this, the CBS stock prices dropped again:
Stock prices for CBS haven't increased since then.
ESPN, Fox Sports, and CBS recently decided not to air the national anthem live before
any game.
Do you think that this was the right thing to do?
The NFL situation is really bad.
If the players would stop protesting, everything will go back to normal.

Here's What Employers Should Do As The Weinstein Scandal Unfolds - Duration: 1:13.On the heels of two bombshell reports
exposing Harvey Weinstein's predatory behavior,
it became apparent that employees
and other industry insiders knew what was happening
and stayed quiet. For managers and executives
who want to use this news, as well as
stories of sexual harassment coming out of Silicon Valley,
as teaching moments,
here's how they can–and why it matters.
Industry experts expect that in our current political climate,
more CEOs will be forced to take a stand
on political and social issues in 2018
with workplace harassment and gender equality
being hot button issues.
This will undoubtedly trickle down
to team leaders across the country.
The first thing they can do is set expectations.
Leaders can set the tone by emphasizing that everyone
deserves the same level of respect in an organization.
Next, they can make a policy statement.
Managers can use the Weinstein news as an
opportunity to communicate company protocol
and awareness of the issues like sexual harassment.
From there, do a listening tour.
Reinforcing a policy stance is valuable
when employees are looking to their leaders
for signals at times like these.
Listening tours can allow leaders to get employee
observations about the ways diversity can be fostered.
Finally, managers can encourage
their staff to be watchdogs.
If employees feel empowered to police company culture,
that helps catch misbehavior early.

Here's Why You Should Never Climb a Mountain Without An Oxygen Cylinder - Duration: 1:12.Have you ever wondered why mountaineers carry oxygen cylinders with them?
Here's Why
Mountaineers carry oxygen cylinders to high mountains to avoid suffocation.
As we go higher and higher
at high altitudes
the amount of oxygen present in the atmosphere is represented by atmospheric pressure.
That means the amount of oxygen at higher altitude is lower than that of the lower altitudes.
This lack of oxygen in the atmosphere causes a medical condition called hypoxia which is also known as anoxia.
As a result of hypoxia
The oxygen content in the blood to the brain decreases.
which may lead to unconsciousness and eventually death.
This subtle impact has caused several deaths in the himalayas and several Mts around the world.
So that's why you should never climb a mountain without an external oxygen supply.

The U.S. & Russia Are Building a Deep Space Gateway, Here's What You Need to Know - Duration: 2:31.We last popped up to the moon in 1972.
But now, the USA is going to work with Russia to head back to orbit ol' Luna… on the
way to Mars.
Is your Space Race bone tingling?
Right now, the International Space Station is slated to be abandoned by NASA in 2024.
And, like Geocities, one day, it will just be a memory, but now we might see what's
next…
A few weeks ago, NASA and Roscosmos announced they'd work together to build the "Deep
Space Gateway" a space station near the moon offering a "deep space environment…
for human missions that push further into the solar system."
and to "the lunar surface."
Does this mean we're going back to the moon?!
USA (and Russia), USA (and private corporations), USA (if this actually happens, woo!)
The gateway is slated to be a public-private partnership where astronauts can try out technologies
needed to go into deep space, all while orbiting the moon.
That said, NASA's not really given a concrete goal.
They're not, like, testing specific things, the announcements just said "new technologies."
Russia handles docking tech, we've got orbits pretty much licked… long-term space travel we do on
the ISS… maybe a new airlock!
And some kind of deep-space transport...
They mentioned "confidence..."
When it comes to specifics, it's unclear.
Proponents of the plan say, we should get really good at moon missions before going
to Mars.
Meanwhile, opponents say this could tie up resources in Lunar exploration, meaning a
trip Mars could disappear into the distant future.
The Gateway news should make the Mars-or-Bust crowd nervous, because we were aiming to go
to Mars by 2033… but the Gateway won't be fully realized until the late 2020s.
Sooooo… shrug?
Going to space and trying new things does drive innovation.
What will this new space endeavor bring us?
I'm not sure… without a concrete goal, it seems like we're trying out an ISS, only,
it's a few days farther away.
Space exploration yielded satellite communications, cordless technology, LEDs, solar power, water
purification, digital cameras, literally hundreds of things.
I hope I live long and prosper, so I can find out if the Gateway can live up to the hype.

We Are Here - Duration: 3:52.This is a collective effort of three curatorial voices trying to make a statement about what
it means to be contemporary.
It's an exhibition from artists from different generations, from different moments in time,
and from different geographies.
We Are Here is about what it means to take a contemporary look at a collection that has
evolved over 50 years.
It's a collection of individual histories and of the places where these objects were
made and of how these works arrived to Chicago.
We are here in Chicago.
We are here in this contemporary, present moment.
I Am You is an exhibition about language.
It begins with this idea of being at a loss of words.
And finding those words through these artworks and through the grouping of this artworks.
A fun surprise was coming up with so many artists that I grew up thinking about and
studying and to come to the realization that some of their very important works are sitting
in a collection in Chicago has been quite exciting.
And being able to present them to our audiences within the context of this exhibition has
also been something really incredible.
So the opening of You Are Here is all about all of a sudden, the visitor is aware of one's
body and their body in space, as much as they are aware of the art object as something in
space and not just something to be looked at.
There's a work titled Portal by Bob Morris in the exhibition that basically looks like
one of those metal detector scanners one would walk through maybe at a store, at an airport.
But the key is that you walk through it.
You don't just look at it, but your body somehow has a full experience with this artwork.
But there is a moment where I had to acknowledge that bodies are never neutral.
And so there's a section of the show that begins to think about how the visitor becomes
a political person and what can even happen to people under certain political orders and
political regimes.
The exhibition chapter that I've curated, We Are Everywhere, is about how you take those
formal aesthetic tropes and you expand them to think about the broadness of society.
I expect that audiences are going to be struck by the power of the image.
How has the image changed over time: from a moment when it was barred from the media
and silk-screened onto canvas to when artists picked up the camera to the moment when they
actually put down the camera and started to borrow images from spaces like the internet
and create different kinds of images to this particular present moment now where we are
actually in this fragmented flurry where everyone is producing images from all different kinds
of sources.
For me it's always been important to present a different side of this art history that
we grew up with.
What we do as curators is that we take contemporary perspectives about works that were made over
a particular historical period.
I think a museum doesn't exist without two things—both art and audiences—and it's
my job to make them make sense to each other.
This is an institution that is here for the public.
It has been here serving its civic purpose for 50 years and its collection is a huge
part of that DNA.
We are a contemporary museum that holds contemporary thought.
And then contemporary thought is the thing that frames the way we make exhibitions.
