Air Force To Recall Up To 1,000 Retired Military Pilots After Trump Unexpectedly Revises Sept
11 Executive Order

In an unexpected development, President Donald Trump has signed an executive order allowing
the Air Force to recall up to 1,000 retired pilots to address what the Pentagon has decribed
as "an acute shortage of pilots," Fox News reported.
The order, which Trump signed Friday, amends an emergency declaration signed by George
W. Bush in the days after the Sept. 11, 2001 terror attacks.
The Air Force is only allowed to recall up to 25 pilots under current law.
The order signed by Trump temporarily removes that cap for all branches of the military.
A Pentagon spokesman, Navy Cmdr.
Gary Ross, said in a statement that the Air Force is currently "short approximately 1,500
pilots of its requirements."
That number includes approximately 1,200 fighter pilots.
"We anticipate that the Secretary of Defense will delegate the authority to the Secretary
of the Air Force to recall up to 1,000 retired pilots for up to 3 years," Ross said.
"The pilot supply shortage is a national level challenge that could have adverse effects
on all aspects of both the government and commercial aviation sectors for years to come."
Currently, the Air Force has no plans to take advantage of the recall.
�The Air Force does not currently intend to recall retired pilots to address the pilot
shortage.
We appreciate the authorities and flexibility delegated to us,� Ann Stefanek, an Air Force
spokeswoman, told Fox News.
Now, the question is, will the order inspire some retired pilots to come out of retirement
voluntarily, like this guy.

By the authority vested in me as President by the Constitution and the laws of the United
States of America, including the National Emergencies Act (50 U.S.C. 1601 et seq.),
and in furtherance of the objectives of Proclamation 7463 of September 14, 2001 (Declaration of
National Emergency by Reason of Certain Terrorist Attacks), which declared a national emergency
by reason of the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, in New York and Pennsylvania and
against the Pentagon, and the continuing and immediate threat of further attacks on the
United States, and in order to provide the Secretary of Defense additional authority
to manage personnel requirements in a manner consistent with the authorization provided
in Executive Order 13223 of September 14, 2001 (Ordering the Ready Reserve of the Armed
Forces to Active Duty and Delegating Certain Authorities to the Secretary of Defense and
the Secretary of Transportation), it is hereby ordered as follows:
Section 1.
Amendment to Executive Order 13223.
Section 1 of Executive Order 13223 is amended by adding at the end: "The authorities available
for use during a national emergency under sections 688 and 690 of title 10, United States
Code, are also invoked and made available, according to their terms, to the Secretary
concerned, subject in the case of the Secretaries of the Army, Navy, and Air Force, to the direction
of the Secretary of Defense."
Sec. 2.
General Provisions.
(a) Nothing in this order shall be construed to impair or otherwise affect:
the authority granted by law to an executive department or agency, or the head thereof;
or
(ii) the functions of the Director of the Office of Management and Budget relating to
budgetary, administrative, or legislative proposals.
(b) This order shall be implemented consistent with applicable law and subject to the availability
of appropriations.
(c) This order is not intended to, and does not, create any right or benefit, substantive
or procedural, enforceable at law or in equity by any party against the United States, its
departments, agencies, or entities, its officers, employees, or agents, or any other person.

NICK LACHEY SPEAKS UP ABOUT 'DANCING WITH THE STARS' ELIMINATION
Nick Lachey's stint on Dancing with the Stars has officially come to an end.
For a few weeks now, the 98 Degrees singer has been receiving low scores for his performances,
and on Monday night, he finally got the boot.
It was "movie night" for Dancing with the Stars last night, with country superstar
Shania Twain as the guest judge.
Contestants danced to the tunes of some of the most iconic movie soundtracks–from James
Bond to The Mighty Ducks and other Hollywood classics.
Nick Lachey and dance partner Peta Murgatroyd chose the Wild Wild West OST, putting a samba
twist to the Will Smith song.
The pair brought their A-game and came out in full-leather costumes with matching outlandish
props.
Sadly, the judges felt that it wasn't enough.
DWTS judge Carrie Ann Inaba loved the solo "breakdown" part of Nick's performance
and gave him a score of 7.
Judge Len Goodman agreed but commented that Nick's samba needs more work.
Nick and Peta got a 26/40 score, the lowest of the night.
They joined Victoria Arlen & Valentin Chmerkovskiy and Terrell Owens & Cheryl Burke in the bottom
three.
In the end, it was Nick and Peta who had to say goodbye.
Nick Lachey had a rough few weeks on Dancing with the Stars prior to last night's elimination.
This certainly affected his self-confidence coming into last night's live show, People
reported.
Before his "Wild Wild West" performance, the 43-year-old singer revealed his frustrations
to his dance partner.
"I'm frustrated because I feel like we come in here and we work as hard as anybody
else and the results just don't happen the way I want them to happen," Nick Lachey
told Peta.
"I feel like a buffoon.
To me, I don't feel like a dancer.
I feel like an idiot trying to be a dancer."
Despite his low self-esteem, Nick said that his three kids were his driving force to stay
in Dancing with the Stars.
According to Nick, he wanted to show his 5-year-old son that his dad isn't a "quitter."
"I came into this competition to challenge myself.
I tell my 5-year-old: 'Once you commit to something, stick it out.'
I would never want him to look at dad and think dad was a quitter."
After the elimination, Nick Lachey acknowledged his poor dancing skills but prided himself
with the effort that he put in week after week.
He said that being on the show "was a blast."
In the end, the singer said that he's happy that he can now spend more time with his children.
"I went into this thing knowing I wasn't the best dancer, knowing that it was going
to be an uphill climb and I'm very, very proud that we gave it our all and I'm proud
that we got to this point."
Meanwhile, Nick's wife, Vanessa Minnillo, gave a wonderful performance of "Let's
Be Bad" from Smash.
She and dance partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy got a 36/40 score and are still in the competition.
The 98 Degrees frontman said that DWTS fans will still see him in the ballroom next week
to cheer on Vanessa.

although THE PARISIAN WOMAN is also set against the backdrop of DC power politics
, the focus
is different here.
I did, after the election, realize that there was an opportunity
to address the major shift that has happened politically, culturally, and in the world.

And to place these characters in the midst of it.
Set in contemporary Washington, so
we all know that's a pretty challenging place to explore private life.
I think a lot of people are sick of politics right now, and so inundated with it on the news
I think people are going to be very happy with coming to see this play
that it's not about politics, it just exists within the world of politics.
I was a fan of Beau's as a playwright before House of Cards.
and then that was just I became addicted.
House of Cards is so dark, and that's the beauty of it because
these are people that are destroying everything in their path, whereas our
play, it's a lot of the same kinds of people, but it's how they are trying to find their way, and
some for good.
BETH: Oscar nominee Uma Thurman marks her Broadway debut with this production, and
she has already impressed her more seasoned company.
Uma's the best.
It almost felt like subconsciously I had written this play specifically for her
Just, click, she got it. I sensed the energy. Of course she's got incredible, vast amounts of talent.
and experience.
She came into it with this force of preparation and just force of
creativity.
--The cast is phenomenal, I'm so blessed.

for the day of Eli's birth and I've got Nozomi out. Halloween Nozomi so we
can be /on theme/ for the month of Halloween.

i wasn't able to get it with a pirate set was out but I like it a lot it's a
really pretty Eli card. so anyway that's kind of a goal here.

really like that's really pretty card so the SSR is the flower bouquet which is
there we go it's loading here oh that's a really pretty card and then also got

school uniform so uh whatever I don't know what it is alright so here we go

and it's an SSR oh but it's it's flower bouquet so I can idolize her yay! I don't
think any of these are gonna be flips but well we'll watch and see anyway
you don't tend to get a lot of flips

so let's switch over to Ian all right so here we are back on en this time to
continue our step-up scouting and I think sometimes the frame cuts off the
glove Jim turtle but if you can see there you can see I have all of the love
gems because I got the refund for the Katori scouting box they were friended
me all my gems because there was some issue with it I think it said then the
rest I've just been saving it I think it said that they were displaying cards
that weren't actually in the box yeah that's right

the judge which is like super duper nice of Caleb they didn't have to do that and
they did so thanks Caleb and then I've just been saving I think I scouted once
maybe I think I'd scouted once again in the Katori box I didn't get anything and
I was like all right but the rest I've been saving and I'm going to be saving
for the pirate set because I can't get tired le yet on the end but in the
future maybe I will be able to I guess we'll go ahead and get to it here first
scout here do one SSR in one SR so let's see okay so initial le SSR and oh
another flip but its initial you know you can idolize her again what it's the
early ones but I can't remember which one it is

oh it's fire bouquet and then I got that same card from JP that I didn't know
what okay alright so yeah that mystery one and then flowered bouquet is still a
very pretty card all right I'm wondering if I should go into the
solo box I have enough gems now I should I should save something you'll never
hear me say I do have I do have a blue coupon here that I forgot to check in JP
but I do have a blue keep on here that I will use now so we'll we'll Scout this
and see what I get it's an S R and it is Christmas honk
it's well it's definitely Christmas something climates it's definitely honk
and it's definitely Christmas I like all the Christmas cards ok I realized that I

was like what's that one they called my number of yes it also came with a bacon
gives me a reason to get out of bed mug which is super cute
like come on how cute is that guys so I'm probably gonna bring this to work
and just like step on it because that's usually when I drink my coffee oh my
gosh i chocolate galore this is the cocoa Paolo zero added sugar
this is 39% milk chocolate they also gave us two little samples
it's the crispy quinoa dark and the ginger dark and both of them say heedo
friendly with PDS so I'm guessing at Seaton with PDS more chocolate chopped
Bureau I'm so excited for this I've been wanting to try a chopped zero for god
knows how long and that's the great thing about these most of these are like
online stores I'm not sure where you can get this in the store I haven't checked
into it but a lot of these items I've been like too scared to try because
they're online stores I'm like oh like if it's not good I don't have to return
it so getting to try that items that like you've literally been seeing on
your Instagram every day it's just so exciting
next I actually have to meet the sweet lady that makes these it's called cut
the carbs and it's 9 grams of net carbs for this whole thing and I think a
serving size is one but you can definitely cut it in half it's kind of
like a flatbread so I'm thinking of trying this with like pizzas or making
some quesadillas with this I think they'll be really good next if you're in
the keto family you already know about this the brain brew I feel like every
key know person is promoting this and having a discount code and I almost
bought it so many times so I'm excited that I get to try it without buying it
and maybe I'll be addicted and end up buying it also got these Lord nut dill
pickle ranch peanuts ooh that sounds really good
I can already tell that my sister is probably gonna be crying means - yeah
these just I'm gonna go ahead and try these now

right now and then another cookie I've been seeing this everywhere on Instagram

kiito's Instagram page first he had some and also oh I want to try that
it's keto paleo sugar-free I got two ginger tumeric flavored but that oh that
I got I got a couple of coupons a free halo top ice cream and then also a buy
one get one free for in light ice cream actually hot got one in the mail as well
five two and light coupons that I need to use up so that's why we offer that
I've always this is an impromptu kind of like keto vines type of video if then
