What To Expect From Super Mario Odyssey - Duration: 1:58.

Super Mario Odyssey is great.

Are you surprised?

The new Nintendo Switch game hearkens back to the free-roaming days of Mario 64,

moving away from the linear level designs of Mario's more recent adventures.

There's no simple running left to right here.

You explore the game's surprisingly odd worlds by poking around for Power Moons in

every nook and cranny of the game's dozen or so huge areas.

Yeah, you're going for moons this time.

Because Mario already collected stars and suns in other games.

The Power Moons fuel Mario's top-hat-shaped airship on his quest to (spoiler alert) rescue

Princess Peach from King Koopa.

The game's most significant new idea is Mario's pal Cappy.

He's one powerful hat.

You can throw him like a Frisbee at enemies to attack them.

More importantly, certain enemies, objects and people can be "Cap-Tured," which allows

Mario to go inside their brains or something.

We're not sure how it really works, and we don't want to know.

Once you take control of something or someone, the controls for the game change radically.

You might take control of a pillar of Goombas, or even rampage around as a terrifying dino

Mario.

The best way to control the game is to use split Joy-Con controllers, which allows you

to do all of Mario's cool motion-controlled moves.

But you can also play with a Pro Controller or in handheld mode.

It's just more difficult to use the motion controls.

Mario Odyssey has hundreds upon hundreds of Power Moons to find.

Some of them are rewards for mundane tasks, and others lie at the end of very tricky challenges.

You'll pick up Moons at a rapid pace as you play.

That, and the fact that you're rarely doing the same thing for very long, makes Odyssey

an addictive, just-one-more-Moon-before-bed type of experience.

Of course, because the game is on the Switch, you can even play more

once you're in bed.

Really, it's hard to stop.

Super Mario Odyssey is not quite as radical a transformation for the series as

Breath of the Wild was for Zelda earlier this year.

It nevertheless is a return to the free-form, choose-your-own-adventure feeling that Mario's

been missing lately.

Mario—and Nintendo—are on a roll.

'Life was HELL' North Korea defector reveals what its REALLY like in Kim's kingdom

Choi Kwanghyuk escaped into China after being imprisoned and tortured by Kim's ruthless G-men. He was held captive where he was interrogated and was due to be sent to one of Kim's concentration camps.

The defector managed to flee before he could be sent to the gulag and escaped over the border. Savage persecution was brought on Choi because he founded an "underground church" dedicated to Christianity.

The 55-year-old has spoken out as tensions rage between the US and North Korea with three aircraft carriers arriving in the Pacific.

Choi revealed how he hid his faith from the authorities are worked with nine friends to found a secret church, reports Fox News. He faced the death penalty if they found out he was a Christian.

North Korea has no official religion, but is built around a cult of personality dedicated to the Kims. Defectors often flee the rogue state hoping of a better life.

It emerged today two defectors in China are feared to have been kidnapped and returned to North Korea.

The secret pastor was arrested in 2008 after North Korean authorities caught up with, but he denied he was a Christian.

Choi said: "I decided to escape because I thought that once they sent me to the other camp, they could eventually send me to the concentration camp or kill me.

"I was traveling back and forth between China and North Korea, but they kept searching for me, and I knew it could put my friends in danger too, so I left.".

He feared being taken to infamous Camp 22, where prisoners live 100 to a room, are tortured brutally, and are worked until they die.

But even before his arrest, life was hard – describing the "very cold winters' where they would have to "dig a big hole" to store food. He said: "There is no freedom in North Korea.

Choi applied for asylum with the US in 2013 and moved to LA. He has now dedicated himself to spreading the word about Kim's regime. War fears loom between the US and North Korea as Kim continues to develop nuclear ICBMs.

[HPA Q&A] What is a 'soft' and 'hard' rev limiter? How do they work? - Duration: 3:00.

Answering your performance engine building and tuning questions

Chris has asked,

"A soft rev limiter vs a hard rev limiter

and possible damage?"

Okay,

So, I think, probably,

the bigger thing that you're,

maybe getting to here is

the way a rev limiter,

limiter is integrated.

so, generally, there's two ways

of an ECU applying a rev limiter,

and these are either through fuel cutting,

or through ignition cutting.

now, on top of that, we do,

as you have mentioned, have a soft rev limiter

and a hard rev limiter.

So, how this works is, we'll have a point

in the engine rev range

where the ECU will begin what's called

soft cutting, soft limiting, soft rev limiting.

So, that's where it starts to begin

the rev limiting process.

So it might just be applying

a very small amount of cutting to

the fuel or ignition

depending how it's set up, at that point.

Now, if you are only just coming on

to the rev limiter, so you're just coming

up to it, and touching it,

it's probably not going to take

very much ignition or fuel cut

in order to control the RPM

and stop it rising.

If, on the other hand, you've got

an engine that's producing a lot of power,

and you're really aggressively hit

that rev limiter under wide open throttle,

and full power,

the soft cut will probably not be enough

to control the engine RPM,

and it will continue to rise.

And this is where the hard cut comes in.

So this may be, perhaps, 100 or 200 RPM

higher than the soft cut,

and at this point, all of the fuel

or all of the ignition is completely switched off,

to make sure that the RPM can't overshoot any further.

So that's the, the difference between

soft limiting and hard limiting.

However, what I touched on there,

was the difference between fuel

and ignition cutting.

ignition cutting can be quite

a dangerous option

particularly on engines where there are known

valve train issues.

So, a really classic example of this is

the Nissan SR20-DET;

if we're using, ignition cutting there,

for our rev limiter,

what's going to happen is,

when the ignition is cut,

we're going to end up with a full cylinder

full of unburnt fuel and air,

pass through the cylinder,

because it's not igniting it inside the cylinder.

And that can end up igniting

in the exhaust manifold.

Now, what happens there, is this

can be a sufficient to,

create a large pressure spike

inside the exhaust manifold.

Which, in turn, can be enough

to pop the exhaust valves back open

off their seat, and in turn this can

also upset the valve train,

it can pop rockers off,

and generally achieve all sorts of

nasty stuff that we really don't want happening.

So, definately, the safer option

in most instances is to use fuel cutting.

COSA PENSANO I CANADESI DEGLI ITALIANI // What do Canadians think about Italians (Sub Eng) - Duration: 5:48.

Hi everyone and welcome to this new video!

Today I wanted to talk

a little bit about the stereotypes that

Canadian have about Italians.

I've already made a video about te Canadian stereotypes

and I've said if

they are true or not,

but in this video I want to talk you about those stereotypes I've been asked personally

whan I said I was Italian.

First thing

and I think is THE stereotype

when you say that you're Italian is

It's true that you always eat pasta??

YES. We eat it always

and

I don't get why it's a big deal.

You eat maple syrup and bacon everyday and nobody says anything.

Then they always try to imitate you.

I remember when at my first job I've said

I was italian, all my collegues tried to

""""imitate""" italians.

And I was like "who the fuck talks like that?"

The Mamma mia it's really not a thing.

Nobody says that!!!

The next thing is when I said I was living in Venice...

I was trying to explain a little bit how Venice was structured.

We don't have cars, usually you walk or we move by boats etc

and nobody understood that.

And all of them were like "OHHH BOATS THAT'S SOOO COOL!"

I was trying to explain that there are buses who reach the city but just until one point, but after

in the city, you can't really do that. There're a lot of bridges.

And the bike??? WTF we have bridges!

They think that Venice is sort of an isolated island and nobody goes in or out from there.

Another thing happened during winter

When I talk I have a French accent and not a Quebecer one

then people start to think I'm French or Belgium or from any other french country.

Another stereotype is

the fact that if you come from a country that is not french then you can't speak french (WTF!!!))

They are like "Woooow you speak French! WHY??

Maybe because I came here to study?LOL

There're people out there who love to learn other language. Mind blow, right?

If you're italian, you can't speak French because why should you want to study it???

Other even asked me it French is a national language in Italy.

You should learn more geography people.

I wanted actually to say something else but I got lost.

I wanted to say that during the winter

people were pretty excited for me because they were thinking I was seeing snow for the first time.

I've already seen snow in my life people!

Okay, in Italy there's not so much but

I've seen it before. DUH.

You're not special ahhhaha

It's not something that you have just here.

Concerning the temperature, I always say that in Italy it's pretty hot during winter

and we have max 10°

Canadians start to laugh

and say that's bikini weather for us!

YEAH, I know it since it's been 2 years I moved to Canada.

They think that we are at the beach all year, eating pizza and saying mamma mia!

The last thing I've heard was

"Aren't you too white to be italian?"

Sorry if I'm white as my wall

I'm very sorry.

They think that Italy we are tanned all year.

I don't get tanned!

Sun doesn't love me!

I don't like it eighter, I don't get tanned and I don't even like it.

I'm very proud of being pale as an elf!

It's actually true that Italians are less white than me, and Istill wonder how they didn't kick me out from the country.

It was the strangest thing I've been asked.

That's all! I hope you like the video

and see you next time. Byeeee!

Hey! I'm Evan, one of the founders of STEEZY.

Hey Evan, so what exactly is STEEZY?

STEEZY is a company dedicated to making dance really easy to learn and accessible to everyone.

So right now we're making online dance classes from some of the best instructors in the world.

That's dope! So what do you do here?

I do a lot of things but mainly I'm a software engineer

Engineer...meaning you build STEEZY Studio?

Yeah, pretty much.

So right now I just made this brand-new navigation to make it REALLY easy for students

to find their next class.

Whoa, that looks really convenient.

Thanks! we're always brainstorming new ways to make our platform even better for our students

and always asking if this is something they really need or want, and then

we go out and make it.

Awesome. Well, I'll let you get back to work. Nice meeting you Evan!

Biogas and biomethane in France: what does the future hold? - EN subtitles - Duration: 2:22.

The EBA has just release the "Country Profile France".

What is the current production

and consumption of biogas in France?

Well, so the current production of biogas in France

is more than 6 terawatt-hours.

Now France is including 780 plants for biogas production

as of end 2016.

What are the main feedstocks?

Well, the main feedstock for biogas

is actually a bit unique in Europe,

in the sense that France kept the amount of energy crops

that can actually be used at 15%.

So, I think for biogas it's around 14%

and for biomethane is actually less than 1%, it's only waste.

What is the biomethane situation?

Well, for biomethane France only started in 2011,

so I think, yeah, end of 2016

France had 26 biomethane plants

that were only using waste. I think now it's around 29 or 30.

What are the ongoing supporting schemes?

So, about the supporting schemes,

France is actually using feed-in tariffs

so, for biogas it is from 150-175 euro per MWh

plus a bonus depending on which substrate is actually used,

for biomethane is 64 to 95 euro per MWh,

plus also a bonus and a guarantees of origin scheme.

What are the main barriers

for the development of biogas and biomethane?

In France the main barriers for the biogas sector development

is actually a mis-evaluation of Opex

and an under-valuation of Capex.

Plus, social acceptability is still a barrier in France as of today.

As per the future, what are the main drivers and targets?

For the main drivers and targets I would say that the biggest driver

is the fact that France actually started late in the biogas race,

so big players like Engie and GRDF

actually are putting their whole weight

behind the biogas development sector.

Plus, there is a lot of gasification research in France,

like the GAIA project and power-to-gas projects,

like the Jupiter 1000 project.

So, we're expecting the sector to skyrocket in the near future.

Biola Apologetics Summer Residency - What Students are Saying - Duration: 2:30.

I really enjoyed the summer residency aspect to the course because it allows

us to come on campus and begin to interact with the professors which has

been a profound growth opportunity for me.

I really enjoyed my experience here because I get to be around other people

who are like-minded, who have similar stories, similar challenges with school and being at home

and also even being around professors who are very transparent

they are able to even talk to you even outside of class and that's one thing that I really appreciate.

It's been great to come over here and meet people face to face and make that connection.

There's a lot of blanks that have been filled in.

Many of us are living in our own areas of the country

but then we come together. You know those different aspects bring

like a melting pot together where you can really sharpen your thinking based

upon what somebody else sees from their perspective.

It may be intimidating or you feel like oh I don't know anything and yet you get to meet them and

you realize, wow they're just like me struggling with life, life issues,

questions, family, friends, ministry and it really adds a personal touch.

When you walk into the lecture room you see students from all the way in their early 20s

to maybe in the late 60s. No one could ever figure out that we're in this classroom because of Jesus.

It's one thing to discuss things with people online.

It's another thing to meet them face to face, get to know them.

It's such a refreshing time spiritually speaking because

you're now joining a community of believers who share

the same you know convictions about how we should reach other people who don't know God.

Diversity has been amazing. I'm learning so much for my classmates

and even more for my professors.

They're really open, they're really there

to be they just really want to connect with you to see where you're at in your life.

It's also that sense of community, that sense of fellowship

that you don't get anywhere else and it makes it such a nice time.

I've really enjoyed the summer residencies on campus.

Episode 33: What's the point? - Duration: 5:27.

Welcome back to "Don't Just Sit There - Do Something!" for climate change news

science and easy action. I'm your host Joylette Portlock.

Climate change? Come on!

It's always 80 degrees...

in mid-october...

in Pittsburgh

Power plants and factories

definitely take a lot of heat for causing global warming.

Today we're gonna

talk about these industrial point sources of pollution.

Okay but let's keep

it under five minutes, I'm about to go for a run.

"Point source" is a fancy way of

talking about individual power plants and factories. Stationary point sources

produce close to half, just over 40 percent, of our carbon pollution which

causes the increasing floods, droughts, more extreme weather, wildfires, and many

other effects that we collected we know as global warming or climate change.

You and your "overwhelming evidence" and "97% consensus of climate scientists that

it's man-made." Maybe there's an angry weather bitch somewhere who is trolling us all!

Electric power plants, coal and natural gas power plants mainly, are the biggest point

source problem.

It's funny that we call these things "plants" don't you think? 'Cuz

there's never been anything less like a plant... THAT is the OPPOSITE of a plant.

But other types of industry, like making steel or cement or glass, also play a role.

Climate and health impacts are linked. In addition to the climate

problems they cause, the closer you live to these pollution generating places the

more direct air pollution you have to deal with.

"Pollution place" does not sound like a good neighborhood.

But obviously these places also create electricity

which you may have noticed, we kind of need, and stuff, which we like a lot!

Yes, but we don't have to get those things the way we do.

And I suppose the case

could be made that maybe we need less stuff.

Renewable clean energy has been

our fastest-growing energy sector for years. Solar power is just about 1% of

our total electricity mix, but solar already employs more than twice as

many people as coal. "More jobs!" is always the fossil fuel industry's siren song.

Of course the sirens and Greek mythology hypnotized sailors and caused them to

crash those vessels on the rocks

Reinvesting in dirty energy and accepting pollution as the price of

progress, is not a good long-term strategy.

Puerto Rico, still recovering

from Hurricane Maria, is looking to a future with clean power. The U.S.

territory, home to three and a half million Americans, will use solar power

and battery storage from Tesla as part of a plan to restore electricity to most

of the island by mid-December.

Factories have been closing nationwide as we

switch from a manufacturing based economy to a service based economy, and

they have been switching to cleaner fuels.

But just because things have slowly

been getting better nationally doesn't mean there aren't still problems locally

Southwestern Pennsylvania, known for its industry, has ninety eight point sources

of climate pollution and is responsible for 63 million metric tons of it per year.

Because of plentiful natural gas the region is currently looking at new

construction of an ethane cracker plant.

A cracker plant is a factory that makes

the building blocks for vinyl and plastics.

That's not what I was thinking it was at all.

The proposed Shell cracker plant would add four hundred and thirty

thousand cars per year worth of climate pollution and cancer-causing air toxics

to the air.

According to the head of the air quality collaborative, a coalition of

environmental groups, the air in the Greater Pittsburgh area was "not good" by

EPA standards two-thirds of the days in 2016.

Yuck! And maybe I'm NOT about to go

for a run after all. I do enjoy breathing during exercise.

Here's the first of our

two actions. Scott Pruitt, administrator of the US Environmental Protection

Agency, has just repealed the Clean Power Plan, which was a landmark rule that

would have protected both our climate and our health.

Tell them you disapprove by clicking on the link in the description or at the

video's end.

Secondly, there are several resources for you to find out more about

our region's air quality with a few listed on our website but did you know

you can see what the air quality looks like

right now where you live? The air quality index will tell you what risks you run

from local air pollution right now in Pittsburgh and more than 600 other

cities. Check it out to see the safest time to be outdoors and consider

bookmarking the site.

Awesome! I should be good to go for now.

And remember "Don't Just Sit There"

"Don't Just Sit There - Do Something!"

watch Wednesdays it's a weekly feature on my channel where I create a playlist

of other Fisher people's YouTube channels and then share them with my

subscribers for two reasons so that they have something to watch to break up the

monotony of you know the middle of the week on a Wednesday and also as a way of

saying thank you to the creator's who are making the video content that I

enjoy watching this week's topic is real women fish you know on YouTube there's a

lot of these sort of clickbait bikini wearing girls wearing not much holding

up fish etc etc these are not the the channels that I'm talking about not that

there's anything wrong with those per se I've got no qualms with them but that's

not what this topic is what I'm talking about our serious angler is women who

take fishing seriously and not only are serious about fishing but are serious

enough about it to create their own YouTube channels specifically about that

not to say that some of the I call them bikini channels that not to say that

they don't love or enjoy fishing but they're not serious about it but there's

another angle to it that I think they use to obviously get subscribers get

views things like that I'm talking about the channels that straight up fishing

that's enough now here's the struggle I only know of two of those channels when

I search through YouTube trying to find some all that comes up are the bikini

channels so I need help from you guys down here in the comment section give me

some suggestions I was just some channels that I should be looking at

because honestly one of the reasons I wanted to do this topic was because when

I look at my own analytics and demographics I was surprised at the

number of female viewership that I actually have it's not a huge number but

it's enough that it surprised me because these are women who either sought out or

were suggested fishing videos made by me and then clicked on them

watch them to me that's compelling because I know there are a lot of women

fishermen out there my wife goes out fishing with me she enjoys it but she's

not gonna go on YouTube and search out fishing videos not even my own I know

there's a lot of great female anglers out there I'd like to show a little bit

of light on that I think it would be great if we could sort of highlight

these women and you know build us show them as a positive role models I

personally have a daughter who's 15 at the time of this recording and one of

the young lady's channels and I'm highlighting andis and this week's

playlist is I think a little bit older than that but not much but she's

obviously extremely experienced on the water handling a boat lots of great

fishing knowledge I think she's from Canada her channels name is Lady bass

she's very impressive very knowledgeable I think a lot of us could learn a lot

about bass fishing smallmouth fishing from her I also think she'd be a great

role model for a younger female anglers to look at her and say you know look at

how good this girl is I could be that good people a lot of times think of it

as a boys sport it's not it's for everybody but like I said when I search

through YouTube I'm having a hard time finding these positive not click Beatty

bikini girl fishing videos I'm looking for these videos that highlight real

fish or women so far this week's playlists only has two videos so we need

to check those out but also I'm begging you please leave me some comments if you

have any suggestions of some other real fish or women who are getting the job

done on YouTube I'll add them to the playlist we'll just build it up a little

bit and that way we all can kind of get exposed to to see more of them so hey

thanks for the help my name is Mark otherwise known as eating lunch urge you

to check out some of the other content on my channel if you enjoy it please

consider subscribing but definitely check out this week's playlist which

will be hopefully appearing in a card write about this area here and also down

in the description area below so next time always be fish
