Bizmates初級ビジネス英会話 Point 215 "beef up" - Duration: 4:19.
Hello everyone, Justin here and welcome to this week's Bizmates for Beginners.
Today we are going to learn the expression "beef up" in our video today,
so stay tuned to find out what it means and how to use it, but first as always
let's do a quick review of last week's class. Alright everyone, so imagine I ask
you: "How was the negotiation?" and of course you were very prepared for the
negotiation so it was very easy for you, it was no problem. So what do you say?
How do you respond using last week's expression? I'll give you five seconds to
think about it, okay. You ready? Alright go.
And time is up, if you said "it was a breeze" then that's exactly right. Good
job and thanks for remembering the expression. Okay so moving on to "beef up."
Now this is what I sometimes hear... okay I'm talking to my colleague, Taro, and
we're talking about our competitors, you know, how are they doing? So I say:
You know, Taro. Our competitors, they're really strong. And he says: Yes, that's right so
we need to improve our strategy. Alright this is fine -- a nice grammar, a nice
expression and nothing wrong here, but I think we can use something a little bit
more interesting this week, which is...
yes, that's right, we need to "beef up" our strategy.
Okay, so whenever you want to make something better, you want to make
it stronger or more efficient, you can "beef up" okay? You can beef it up. So for
example, if I want to let's say make a proposal to my client or to my boss, but
my proposal, it's not very good, it has to be
better. So I can say "I need to beef up my proposal" okay?
Or for example, something more simple. If I... let's say, I want to go to the gym. You
know I want bigger muscles, I want to be stronger, so I want to beef up, alright?
So it's to make something better or stronger or more efficient. Beef up. Okay?
Alright now pronunciation, it's just as you see it here today -- beef up. Okay so
everyone please repeat after me: We need to beef up our strategy.
Your turn, go ahead.
Alright, good job. Okay now after my sentence: Man our
competitors are really strong. And you say...
Alright, very good. Okay so please
remember this for next time. Okay our bonus question this week everyone is
another way to say: "I know." If you know, then leave it in the comments below. If
you don't know, well it is in one of our previous videos, so if you have a moment
please take a look. Alright, everyone so that is it for me this week. Thank you
very much for watching and thank you to all those people out there who are
leaving comments as always. We really appreciate reading them, so keep them
coming. Alright so have a great weekend everyone and I'll look forward to seeing
you next time. Thank you.

Get caught up on the week that was! Here is your Weekly90: - Duration: 1:22.
Welcome back to the weekly 90,
where we take you through the week that was
in Canadian Politics - in about 90 seconds.
But we'll start this week off on a somber note,
as we take a moment to raise a glass
in honour a fallen Canadian Hero:
Gord Downie.
Andrew Scheer's Facebook post expressed things best:
Now, onto politics -
it looks like Finance Minister Bill Morneau
is in more hot water after we found out
he failed to disclose various business interests.
This includes a villa in France and a failure to put
his business holdings associated with Morneau Shepell
- worth around $45 million - into a blind trust.
This seems a bit rich - pardon the pun
- for a Finance Minister who has just spent the past summer
calling small business owners tax cheats;
all summer long,
the Prime Minister and the finance minister travelled
across the country calling pizza shop owners
and mechanics and farmers tax cheats
who are trying to avoid paying their fair share of taxes.
All the while, if the Prime Minister truly wanted to find
a wealthy Canadian who was using the system to
avoid paying higher taxes, all he had to do was
turn slightly to the right,
where he would find the finance minister,
who is doing exactly that.
And closer to home, the are a few changes happening
right here at Conservative Party Headquarters.
So, if you have a passion for politics

#Antonio Conte could regret not snapping up red-hot Watford star Richarlison - Duration: 5:23.
Antonio Conte could regret not snapping up red-hot Watford star Richarlison
BRAZILIAN forward Richarlison has been in fine form for Watford this season, helping the Hornets to defy expectations under new manager Marco Silva.
The 20-year-old attacker signed for the Vicarage Road club in the summer for a reported £11.
2million, but Watford weren't the only club interested in the former Fluminense man.
Richarlison has started the season is stellar fashion.
Among the long list of Europe's elite clubs monitoring Richarlison's progress in Brazil was Chelsea.
Our friends at Football Whispers ask whether the Premier League champions might regret not landing the gifted youngster before Watford.
Alvaro Morata has been a revelation for Chelsea this season, scoring six goals and providing two assists from seven league outings to date.
But the Spanish international has been out of action with a hamstring injury recently, and the Blues attack hasn't quite clicked in the same way in his absence.
Is Antonio Conte already regretting not sealing deal for Richarlison?.
The former Real Madrid man, who was a Manchester United transfer target before moving to Stamford Bridge, returned to action last night in Chelsea's 3-3 draw with Roma in the Champions League.
But Antonio Conte's men slipped to an embarrassing defeat to bottom-placed Crystal Palace at the weekend without Morata.
Michy has been leading the line in his place, but Conte doesn't seem to fully trust the Belgian poacher to spearhead the attack.
He withdrew the former Marseille man before the hour mark against the Eagles – hardly a vote of confidence for the player to be removed with his team 2-1 down and in need of goals.
Alvaro Morata has been brilliant for Chelsea this season and was missed when out with hamstring injury.
Meanwhile, in the wide attacking positions in Chelsea's customary 3-4-3 shape, Eden Hazard, Pedro and Willian have combined for a miserly total of just one league goal and two assists.
By contrast, Richarlison has starred on the left flank for Watford in their rise to fourth place in the Premier League, scoring three times and registering one assist in seven appearances for his new club.
The Blues were thought to be at the front of the queue to sign the Brazilian youngster at one point over the summer, only to be pipped to the post by Watford, who secured his services for what now looks like a bargain price of £11.
2million.
Had Chelsea landed the Brazil Under-20 star, Conte may have found more success in providing support and cover for Morata in attack.
Michy Batshuayi showed his frustration after being taken off.
Starting, as he does, from the left wing, Richarlison would have been unlikely to unseat Hazard once the brilliant Belgian returned from a broken ankle, but he could have provided a strong back-up option to the former Lille man, offering similar speed, dribbling ability and goal threat.
Richarlison is also very versatile, and could quite easily slot in on the other side of Conte's attacking trident, replacing either Pedro or Willian.
Comfortable with both feet and dynamic in possession, the youngster matches Willian's ability to attack his marker and provide ammunition for the central striker, while also offering a similar goal threat to Pedro.
Richarlison could be used in the same role as compatriot Willian.
What's more, Richarlison has experience of playing as a central striker from his time in Brazil.
With his height, aerial prowess, speed, slick movement, link play and finishing ability, he would have made a more like-for-like stand-in for Morata than Batshuayi, while also being able to play alongside the Spaniard should Conte persist with the 3-5-2 shape he has utilised of late.
With his versatility and quality, and considering he was available for such a relatively low price in a summer when transfer fees went stratospheric, Chelsea might come to regret not signing Richarlison before Watford snapped him up.

What is Nick DeMoura up to after Purpose Tour? | TBSN PODCAST Ep. 1 - Duration: 47:23.
What up guys your boy WilldaBeast here
And we are here live at the first ever BEAST Network podcast where we talk about what's next now life style art
Fashion sports you name it and today
I'm here with my boy none other than the one and only Nick DeMoura. You guys say, what's up? You can't say
What's up out there? I'll say what's up. What's up? Everybody there. It is there it is
Yes, man of course Boston's in the building yeah here. Hey, so
Hey, bro
You know we go get into that for sure, but I want to know you just got off a tour, so how was that?
How was this last run of Bieber tour dude? It was a pretty epic man
Yeah, like it was cool to be you know
I mean the belief my world - I mean with Justin for a while obviously so my well. You know I danced on that tour
Believe Tour I got to do all the choreography for that tour
And then this tour was a I got to do everything you know production design creative direction
Choreography so to see something
You've taken literally from your brain to your computer to live stage to like all around the world
Like it was super awesome. You know it's been a long tour. I'd obviously ended like a little weird with Justin
You know he decided like he was tired. He what you got to do
He needed to take a break and I fully get it cuz like we we all really feel that way
I feel like I barely see you or any of the dancers ever like in the past four years
Yeah, the people always ended we did almost two years like crazy. There's a long tour like people don't go off that long
You know so for me like that the way it ended was like sad, but at the same time
We're all like man. It feels good to you know refresh
absolutely
It's time to focus on some new thing right right of course great thing comes to an end
Definitely a blessing and you found out like you probably had internal meeting like the dancers found out afterwards
But was it like a thing of like could you feel it coming like we might be?
coming to an in here like or
So no, I actually did not feel it coming you did it right so but obviously I knew a lot before the world knew of
The whole crew knew but you know we just wanted to like you know obviously for me with Justin as a friend
Yeah, and I just gave her like hey. What's up, man? What's going on?
I know he told me what he told me yeah, I'll keep
course, but like
totally understandable
And then you know just having to like you know the production manager one of my design partners
Chris Gratton
He had a lot to do and I'm sure the management had a lot to do to get things canceled to move forward
but at the end of the day like everyone was like we understand you know absolute leavin as a dancer or
in the crew we missing our family forever. You know
It's it gets a lot so the pros and cons to being on tour forever
100%. I know he posted something a while ago like
Doing meet-and-greet afterwards etc etc
You know sometimes I feel depleted, and I was going I personally was going through the same thing and I'm like
one
one-thousandth of a scale of that but even just like
Even sometimes being at Millennium and right after class having to talk to everyone the second I'm done
I feel like I have nothing in me
And I'm like I can't imagine being Justin, Chris,
Beyonce like there's no way I go exactly
and like people don't know until like you actually go with them and see that right or
Even like us on a smaller level compared to them
exactly
Yeah, after classes you have to stop and take 50/60 photos, and you're hungry
And you just had plans after class
But those are canceled right your lingering in Millennium parking lot for a hour you want to watch the video back or like yeah
And you feel like you you feel like you have to because some of these people travel from all over the world to come take
Your class or they finally get to meet Nick DeMoura or WildaBeast or whoever and it's like okay
I owe it to these people I don't want to let them down, but at the same time
I'm going a little crazy in my head, and that's how I felt so that was my first time
I felt like dang something. He said personally like related to me 100% right on that scale, but that's dope man
I'm glad that you guys had a good running. You're here. I was gonna. Ask you a lot of people want to know
What is it like working one-on-one with Justin like what's the process you?
Choreograph you guys give you routines to the dancers or somebody else comes in or whatever the case is
But like there's Justin learn it when you guys are teaching and Isha Lee, or is it like a thing of?
Afterwards you get with him and say okay, this is what we got or so it's different every time, okay, so like
Sometimes like okay, so as I said like mostly like the first singer like when we're you now came out
Yeah, you know he call me or me. I figure how that happened management. Call me
This is the new rack whatever you know start working on it
You know so I'll start working on it and then like time. I met up with him. Yeah
I know I think bug came with me or blaze came with me
And we'll go to you know to his house and was I'll start teaching him already like the hook
You know just like the basics like yeah, this is what we're doing like rolling out and sometimes. It's like
Oh like you know things quick
It's like VMAs next week start rehearsal tomorrow
And then I'll get all the usual e what I'll do most of the time is I'll get all the dancers together
Yeah, we create everything I create everything and then
He'll come in and then I'll pretty much teaching him off to everything and then and so
Also, because he's so busy that he barely has time to be there for eight hours. I
Gotta like get his stuff so when he comes in he can learn what he needs to do and then go do a radio interview
Go do a press interview and then go to the studio, and you know he's busy schedule so
He's evolved in that too since you've been with them
So I've seen cuz I watch closely since you've been on. Yeah like like gotten better retaining and doing more in the shows definitely
He's definitely pushed push some selfish. I I think my favorite is on tour I came to Utah kimby, Utah
I think yeah, I think my favorite is boyfriend cuz in the breakdown all the other new songs are fresh
But then breakdown a boyfriend like the music everything the jump it
That's my it's cuz it takes you back to like when you know we used to watch NSYNC Britney exactly like a dance break
Yes like
The HS record shows there's dance crews
Yeah, that's why I wanted to make my own because I watched Darren's dance grooves, and that's why I did
Bro
It's like
It completely is that and that's the feeling that it gave me even the 808's and the music production it made me feel like this
Is why I started when I watched that part right that was flying. Utah was crazy I
Remember walking around with CJ and Johnny a little bit at that tour just saying what's up?
And like people know the dancers like people know like that's him. That's her blah blah, which is crazy
I was I wanted to ask you
with Justin being
You know the Michael of our time for pop stars
Icons like the whole world being obsessed with every little thing he does what is the the craziest place
That the fans like go for it go wild whether it's in the crowd or like they find out what hotel are you guys are?
At like what country or city that if there's one there's probably a bunch
This is ever the abundance, but first of all I said yeah, believers are the most like oil fans. I believe it
They're awesome
I believe it
And it's crazy cuz like they've they've they have grown up with Justin right and so like
They know and especially because he's been very open about like hey
I like when you guys do this and not attack me so this last tour was kind of cool the fans were like
really obviously excited
But super respectful right you know and then right it actually opens up a door for you to actually just talk with these fans you
know they really want to know you because just needed because you know Justin or they really just like what you do for him or
Whatever it is
But some of I don't know like some of the South America is the craziest right I mean
same way with teaching right
Yeah, yeah everything like this is the passion absolutely Pat
They're very passionate in South America even when it comes to dancing right right. I think in general
You know what I mean this because like I don't know one time we like just never mind for Justin but like for us
even
You know we I think it was Believe Tour
We were driving from the hotel the W
Which we couldn't leave all day because it was like thousands of fans outside really Starbucks across the street
We had to leave they were posted up outside posted up post it up street blocked off. It was madness
Yeah, we're at the W. Hotel. They'll remember
We were just trying to get to the venue in these vans and fans were literally on top of our vans while they were driving
Wait, I think I've seen footage of this
Yeah, so it was pretty nuts and so yeah
I would say South America man it they take the that is crazy, right?
I can't imagine getting that at such a young age
I remember seeing the one time video on MTV for like a year before anybody was like Justin. I was like
Oh, this kid's dope he's gonna blow up a little blah
Yeah, but I felt like nobody knew and then all of a sudden. I started hearing, baby
Everywhere, and I was like okay. It's a wrap. Yeah. It was insane, but that's amazing about Justin
I'm glad you're back cuz I get to see you more and obviously the new cool stuff like this man
We got to get to it
And I saw that you guys had a party for this and I was on the opposite side so I didn't come over
Mayweather McGregor, bro
Mayweather McGregor your Mayweather fan. Yeah your Mayweather lit so yeah 100%
So what what did you think was gonna happen before the fight actually happened before it? We know what's happened now
What what was your like? This is what's gonna happen that night, so here's the thing?
like I
Knew McGregor. I knew my sorry mayweather would would win the fight?
There's no way you can go into something new
That someone else has done for 30
40 20 years professionally it through the kids he was like a kid right and father and uncle
Yeah
Like there's this no way you learn that right and McGregor and the Octagon like it's great like
Not like a fight specialist right all right?
I've seen a lot of me where the fights and
He's also like a genius when it comes to fighting so even at the beginning is never like
You know a lot of people were like oh
That's cool. Like at least he stuck with him in the first couple rounds like I don't think he's stuck with him
I think Mayweather like he said let him stick with him right tired him out on purpose, but again like yeah
You got in the ring with Floyd Mayweather like congratulations
Because but again like you got in the ring before Mayweather for a hundred million dollars because I would do I would do that today
I would get knocked out for 100 Million dollars
today
100 percent I think I might not get in the ring with Tyson that's about the only first guy yeah
I think everybody how did he talk to you?
I think that's the only person I'd be like no the money's not worth it
Just because I think one hit could do me damage. Yes me the hundred mil can fix it yeah
100% but I wanted to know your take on I felt like the same thing I felt like Floyd
Was definitely being strategic I think that it was surprising that Connor could touch him like at all
I think that that does have to do with age and also size
Yeah, but also I think I think Floyd wanted to see like let me see his power
Let me see if it's worth it in these gloves which I don't think Floyd was very much affected by it right and I also
Think Connor didn't want to go for anything hard body because he's like I'm gonna get tired which ended up happen anyway right how much
Brother would have seen Connor go out there and really go crazy and what we saw yeah
I wanted to know your take on it because
my question is
Do if we saw a Floyd five years six years earlier?
I mean during the koto era during the Pacquiao era
Would this what the fight have only lasted two or three rounds what we have seen it go like quicker. That's my question
I don't think so you know that's not how even then that's not how may weather was Fighting's right?
You know was it Mendea I think so that was the only fight
I was so nervous before he was just going hey make bombs bombs yeah, Sicily
Yeah, 12 absolutely and I was like oh my god like that would make me nervous I said
Don't know if McGregor went in like that right. Maybe May got lucky with a crazy hick. That's what I won't curse anyway
He's got that left. He's got that left that left then throw it. He didn't yeah
He just kept that like like easy easy because he had to reach over me well
I think he had the region he was trying to get tired. I think it was I think he was just clicking a check, bro
Right yeah at the end of the day, I think it's an isness. It's a like he made 30 million
I supposedly like his whole career. Yeah, I mean in one night
Surpassed that and that crazy triple
And then endorsements no 100% and triple that speaking of triple triple G and Canelo we get here. What last weekend
I think it's amazing for boxing just because it got the attention back on it UFC as in my opinion
I started watching like during the
Ken Shamrock and Tito Ortiz days - Chuck Liddell - rampage - all these people have now john jones. God bless him
Hopefully he gets his life together
But like I think it was good to get boxing back in the talks of like what's gonna happen
Everybody wants to watch it cuz UFC's kind of taken over that lame for a while you know yeah
And yeah boxing needs to find their next star absolutely an Andre Ward retired today. Yeah, so I'm just like okay
what's gonna happen you know what I mean so and I think I think now -
Dana White said that he's not that open to it, but I think if we get more of these cross matches
Yeah, it could possibly be the move, but it's good to know your take. I saw you guys partying and all y'all
hype I think yeah
Johnny yeah, I was mad, I feel good nuts I was like because it's not that I wanted Conor to win
I just wanted something amazing to happen in sports
And I'm glad that I wish I went to the end or at least Floyd drop him
I went to see the least Floyd like Conor said I didn't I did wanted to see that yeah, man
Because they talked they both talked so much
And it was like I want to see somebody get knocked out don't stop Conor like early woozi
And the only thing to Connors offense I do think he was out in his legs
But I have seen him get hit like that by Nate in the second fight and still win the fight
I don't think he could have won, but he should I wish he would have got dropped but to each his own
You know yeah, it is what it is. It was a good fight. It was great
It was you know it was is great entertainment
We create promise you I was more excited for that fight than I was the Pacquiao fight. I was more than Pacquiao answer
Hike was crazy
When they got in the ring I was at my heart. I was like I can't believe I'm watching this right now
Yeah, it was like we were all
Like like this is real
100% because even to the days leading up I was like something's gonna happen Conor's gonna be her floor
He's gonna be sick a contract something's gonna happen. I was like until I see them punch ding ding
There's no way yeah, but we saw it. I'm glad it happened um
I heard that you are in the process of or maybe you already did of
Starting your own production company
Yeah, so yeah, what is what's going on with that so yeah, so obviously I've designed
Indirect design and directed to major tour so far which is Ariana Grande's honeymoon tour and Bieber's purpose tour
And I feel obviously as I've only done two so still I guess I'm new in the industry in that world at it
So I just pretty much don't want to start actually
It's more about having a place for people in that realm of the world to find me absolutely right so I've been like
Yeah, pretty much starting my own tour company. I want to be like the
Coz was a funny story right so I went to scooter, and I'm like yo, I want to crave direct ariana grande
That was my next question, so go ahead go ahead. Yes, so go ahead so I'm like screwed
I want to do Ariana grunty was like what and I was like yeah, I want to create Directorate or right
I knew it was coming up and he was like all right well
You know put something together, and you're right pitch it to me all right cool
So I pitched it so while I'm doing like my whole pitch. I put the whole tour together the whole creative top to bottom
Transitions video content everything right there right there perfect presentation, and then I was like at the time
I thought the creative director designed the stages, which they don't happen. I still trying to get myself in that lane
so yeah
so I I
Taught myself online how to draw in 3d that was that I saw you with the program one day or something
Yeah, okay, so I'm drawing on YouTube for three days straight. Just trying to draw a stage right I had my friend. I'm like oh
Lord yeah, help me cuz he can draw okay. I got come through help me
He helped me and so I pitched when I pitched the show I had to meet with Chris Granton
Who's her production manager?
I pitched it to him and the stage is already, but I really like the stage, too
And so I went he's like blah blah blah and sounds like cool
So really how it stores usually work like they'll find a distro designer and action designer
Drawers the stage the lighting designer does the lighting design the crave director just does the creative it just does the choreography, okay?
Yeah, so I ended up going in and did the production design, and then became the production designer as well
so by like mistake almost I now know how to build stages which is a good thing to have so now with my
touring company when you come to me right you're gonna get a stage design everything you're gonna get creative and
Got a laying designer on board
And I can choreograph and do this personally
So when you come to me you're getting a one-stop shop right a whole tool instead of like oh
I got to get this person in this person this person like yeah, we can do it all yeah
And the thing is to like people are looking for more show designers in the end
I'm looking for creative directors many people that need creative directors or pop stars that have dance and creatives and that are coming up and
Don't have one yet right like you know
Metallica can call me now right because they liked what I did for Bieber because they really just need a stage design and some visuals
That's sick concept, and I mean absolutely they're not looking for creative director right like imagine dragons not looking for
Just a show designer, so that's what I'm moving more into right now. That's amazing that makes sense that's amazing know for sure
It's it's one of those things, and I I know I have questions that dancers have for you
But like as a choreographer breaking in that Lane. I feel like even for myself
You know I get I get frustrated myself because I feel like I have to be on the jobs to get the experience to see
It and learn it
Much like a nappytabs you like know how to do the light and this now cuz they've been doing it for so long I feel
Like it takes you getting those opportunities to be like okay
I need to watch this person and see what they're doing and why you know what I mean fully my world tomorrow
You can ask all those cool guys even now like I'm always close with the crew right as I?
Would always hang out with him cuz I'm so intrigued and there's so many questions
I would literally go like on my wedding to - he was like the head carpenter, and he works for all access okay
So I would be like yo
So how's this even done like what's the process and he would explain to me the process and I would even on the my world
So I did like a load out with him one day and a load in like just to like just to see just to be
In there, and I wasn't like setting stuff up
But I was like taking stuff from the trucks right pushing it in and they're giving shit because I'm weak you know like but they
Are understanding? I'm just like also being with them like and being those guys
Those are the guys like once you get into my position of a critic oppressor you deal with them a lot
You know like yo, why is the toaster not working right? Why is this not built wisest Lighting's not on
What's the cues are wrong? What's going on guys yeah?
Yeah, those are guys you go to and those are the guys who run the fuckers absolutely. No. You're good. You're good. We're here okay
We keep it out. Yes. I'm still bleep. We're good, but they're the guys who are running the show
Yeah, like yeah, you see a lot of people you're seeing the talent on stage
But there's a hundred and twenty people underneath like underneath deciding which is behind the same
You know in the front of the house making the show run and when you do queues for everybody at home to like let's say
Let's say you're doing. I don't know uh
It could be any track
But let's say it is where are you now in the chorus comes in doom did it on good noon?
Are they watching what you create and choreograph?
And then you're meeting with the lighting director and sound guys to be like okay now
This is when lights happen at 45 seconds into this track playing yeah, that's no more so like okay
So say like right before the first drop, and we're you know everyone jumps in there toasters
Yeah So the guy needs to know beforehand when six toasters go down right the dancers need to know when to hop in them gotcha
Everything so they hop in and Beiber hops in his and then it's don't don't don't don't don't don't
That's two toasters two toasters Justin's toaster
And then there's content lighting hits lighting hits Kyle hits cryo hits pyro hits all
for one
More second moment in the show that is crazy and a team a team is doing that on TV
There's six guys running each toast of the guy at the computer for the toaster the pyro guys
Watching the pyro boards to make sure no one's in the way right running the pyro boards the cryo Jets somebody's somebody's doing it
It's not automatic because somebody could be in the to be there. Yeah, well it can be automatic right
there's people overlooking nice to make sure always looking like the pyro guy has to has a trigger and
Headphones and absolutely sometimes like Justin will walk do something different that night
And if he walks by the pyro board he's like kill kill yeah
See guys we're learning everybody you're out there learning. I'm learning at with you
It's nuts so when you go enjoy a concert next time still enjoy it
But you got to think about everything that goes into a because I know a lot of people like oh
I want to choreograph or or I want to dance same thing with dancing man. It's like you got to perform
You got to learn the steps you got to make it not look like you're doing yes
Look good be in shape have something special like think about like that that some
Even our dancers like we have these lifts that go up 20 feet and when you're looking at it
It looks stationary, but it's like this crazy and like you know some height you have to get over those
You know all the girls this tour had to learn how to fly in harnesses 50 feet in there
I saw that up close and personal when when my lady was on the pink tour. I was like I couldn't do it
I couldn't do it crazy. Yeah, but again like when I booked everybody first day of rehearsal
I had to explain to them like this is what it is gonna be flying in harnesses. You're gonna be toaster popping in lifts
You're gonna be dancing in water everything like which I saw, yeah
and I'm like are you guys all okay with that right because I when I start rehearsing and I get to my production rehearsals I
Don't have time for excuses right I have a job to do yeah, and this is you're part of your job
Are you down or not right so periods down?
Hangman in the show the show was amazing. I the show was amazing at that point. I was like oh 20 20 Timberlake
I was like that's probably the best concert
I've seen just from the entertainment aspect in the moving stage and then when I went to Bieber
I was like damn this is it too because and and for a little bit to me
Surpassed because I'm a dancer. You know as a show person if I wasn't just into dancing I'd be like okay, Timberlake
That was dope or whoo all these concerts that I've seen but when I like looked at it from a dancer
perspective and the music and
Obviously all the production's in stage. I'm like people are sliding down ramps. There was a moving lift
That's going back and forth with trampoline
I believe and I can that's crazy
And then water in addition to all of that and then on top of that justin has so many hits
Yeah, that like it was a different feel for every single thing yeah
And what as a dancer knowing some of the dancers on the stage? It was so dope it's kind of what I've patent
I'm a beast after it's like we all are special and have our superpowers
We can dance together as one but you got to see people do them. Yeah also
Yeah, yeah, you know which was I think you you casted it great and like shout out to the team speaking of which
Soph storm two nights ago, Aubree. Yeah. Yeah, she s already we stood
Yeah, she was there with Carlina Britch, and I was like okay bet and she's like yeah. We're done in blah get married
Yeah, get married
I'll bring a shout-out to her because she's like my right hand why people don't know that she's like my right hand like when I'm
Putting moment she Mystica that she's sitting there at the computer, and I'm around going crazy. She's crazy down and she sees also sees my
She's like my main like one of my main is assistants, but on purpose tour
She's my main production assistant a creative director assistant, so she definitely helps me out so much in my case
She also knows the industry. She's been in so long we both assisted nappytabs back in the day
You know that yeah, how long she's been here longer than longer than me. Yeah, so we both used to assist nappytabs and when
crappy tabs booked
American I love creative directors their first like being like TV show creator, I can job, I called Napoleon, and I'm like yo
Napoleon like I'll do anything to assist you. You don't have to pay me I'll get you coffee
I'll get you food ever ever you need. I just want to learn from you guys
Hey, my house of five and that's when I started assisting them on American Idol
And they were doing creative and they're doing the treatments and working on set and that's how I learned I learned
Attack that's how you got to be able to like humble yourself like one more success cuz even at that time
I'm traveling the world she already know who you are
Yeah, people knew who I was but I was still like yeah, there's another level
I want to get to so I got at that level I'm nobody
I need to go humble myself at that level 100% and be a servant 100% okay with serving. I think is really important and
that's it's crazy because that I feel like that's
That's where I'm at now and people people with me and that they would never know this but they're you know they're like oh
You're good
You got imma beast and build a beast in the clothing line, but I'm like yeah
That's dope and YouTube etc etc and brands, and I'm like yeah, that's dope I still want so much more than like yeah
But but living it be happy. I think there's something to say about happiness, but also having that hunger still yeah, that's something
I've battled with bro. It's tough all the time. It's tough because
Think about it like yeah like all your accomplishments same thing all my accomplishments in the outside perspective people are like yo y'all are already
good
What do y'all talk with y'all complaining about like what the problem is we're such dream
Like gold yea
catchers like absolutely like
Literally that the night the first purpose tour show ended as soon as like he went yeah off stage
And I left I was like what's next yeah the first night. I'm like oh my god like you'll live in the moment
That's the hardest thing for me around Mykel, and CJ yeah
Yeah, you know they're like
But no. No you did it like I'm like I no no it's like what's next cuz even now like I get it
I almost just booked a tour again as creative director, but the the
Deal this didn't work out right yeah, so I had to turn it down okay, but I mean the power of no has been awesome
But even now it's like okay what I don't have a tour lined up right now
You know what else which is why you know it's like okay?
I'm a focused on my own project right now, and then like they will come you know absolutely
I'm trying to get better with also like not stressing about what's next I mean things always ended up coming up
So why would I stop now?
Like it's it's it is that you know what and the age thing gets in my head too and like not to put a limit
Because there there are no limits, but I'm just like okay
I know that I've done well so far
But I have other things that I want to attain to how is it gonna happen, okay? It's not happening
I got to make it happen and there's only so much you can make happen
yeah in an industry that depends on other people to a certain extent right for sure so I think it's just that balance and
Finding it, but I I want to tell you personally
Obviously you're good keep fighting, but you're good
You know what I mean
and now you get to you get to sit back and create your own and work on yourself and
Get it to the point that you want it to be too man. All right I
It's crazy because I feel like a
lot of people
Like in this Lane like twitch is on Ellen every day hosting and he's a household name and in movies
And I'm like damn
I want to do that and they don't have people like twitch that are like oh
I will I want to be teaching as much as you are
Then I have teachers that are like I want to be going with Nick timorous doing with grass always greener always
So it comes with the territory, but I was gonna ask you how scooter affected your outlook
But obviously I know I've known that you now that you've like reached out to him about certain artists are doing things
But like seeing a mind like scooter if you guys are know we're talking about Scooter Braun. You could name his credits for
Years yeah Bieber Kanye yeah
I watch the name, but like getting to be around cousin Napoleon is one of the people for me
Yes, the followings awesome choreographer awesome creative director him and tabah are amazing
But I see I watched Napoleon whether it's worldly dancer ABC
I sit back and watch him like how he's talking to people what he's doing what his moves are the concept that he gives like
How was that with scooter because I think everybody looks at him as number one in the game for what? He's right
No, no for sure. It's been. It's cool. He's like again like I'm very observant. You know and
Even like when we'll be on conference calls about
Award shows and how he deals with those or you know things I hear yeah things
He tells me whatever, but it's funny because like his birthday. Just passed while we were in London on a shot the scooter
Yeah, so we were in London like he had like a birthday dinner invited me
And there was a couple people there
And and we all have to go around the table and talk about scooter, and so like when I got to me
I was like I just don't even think you know like how much you affected me really you know like his
You know scooter you think like yo this dude manages Justin Bieber awesome
Right, that's it. Yeah. That's level one like on all the levels
He's done like he's producing movies and producing TV shows
Or he has apps that are so successful, and it his all the stuff he does for charity, and then now the family man
He's been coming household. He's built and it's like
Oh wow
You know so like I was like kind of I had told him like you know you don't understand like you know he's motivated me
To do other things like he's motivated motivated me to then you know
Not just focus on just dance or yeah direction like whether it comes to management?
Or it comes to my clothing line or producing my own TV show or my own movies
It's like yo
He's successful in many things right not just one and not in and because he could chill
Do he do that he could shows good ooh. You could chill right?
Yeah, so but like he could fully chill yeah, you know
But it's like what drives him is like
I think work, and that's what drives me like people like yo you needed to take a break
And I'm like I love working right like I fully love right being at rehearsal for 12 20 hours
Yeah, and figured out how can I make this better and better like I'm ready to leave for me on my yo
We can just keep working here all day. I was kinda is what I'm happy absolutely absolutely
Definitely like and also yeah, just learned a lot from him, and if I need advice I can call him
I'm sure you know in 100%. Yeah the stuff. He's done
That's a good person to be able to do that with mana be close to I feel like yeah
I and I personally feel like you know I remember meeting you
at Debbie
Reynolds I walked by you. It was must have been time because
Jabbawockeez were with Biz and a few other people and they were in one of the studios rehearsing - I never forget this moment
Give it to me Nelly Furtado Justin Timberlake, Timberland, and I passed by you in the hallway, and I was like
Oh, what's up, bro? You were like yeah? I'm Nick blah. I was like oh you're from Boston. I met you
I think this 2008. I think it's 2008
I think you're already on monsters yet setter etcetera probably touring um
But I knew who you were and I had known that I had already seen dances like Nikki and dances like that
Yeah, yeah, so I knew of you, but I didn't like okay. I put a face with the name, and I remember
Suddenly hearing I don't know if it's from you or someone else
But like that at one point you were like at the verge of
About to like stop dancing like you were like I'm over it like and like I don't know if this is gonna work out for
Me my look isn't working. You kind of tell people about that
I wanted to fresh my memory because I think I heard it from you
But I'm not sure I don't know but guess so I moved I didn't okay
So I came to LA you know six to do my mantras show okay?
I came just to do the monster show two weeks
You know you whatever write me Tony's are allowed when he got lived on the cast
We lived on a rug the whole two weeks of rehearsal no pillow. No blankets up in North North Hollywood
Those roaches you guys hear that you should hear that and be and be humble and hungry a lot of kids out here that move
Out here with their parents, and yeah
So hard
my rent pay
moved I had like five hundred dollars to my name and uh
And then whatever so the show ended and I remember like Manny zero and Lauren Gottlieb were like yo
You got to stay in LA like don't leave you need to be out here, and I was like I can't I'm broke
I don't know where to say I like $200 left or something like that and they were like this live on my couch
Lauren Gottlieb
I've rented to a while I was there. Yes. She's famous. I couldn't walk around with her
It's nuts yeah shout out the elgato me yeah
so then
So yeah, I lived on their couch like a year yeah, and I took the bus to my job here
Your year to year and a half. I took the bus I got a job at RadioShack at the Burbank mall
I would take the bus there I was I worked a CPK for a year and a half
I got free meal every day, so I was like part of my eating, but like yeah, man
It was me struggle for me, so there's a lot of times like I would like be like yeah
I'm going home like there's no way like I'm negative 400 ollars in my account
My dad's not helping me my parents my mom. They can't they don't have the funds to help me you know if
Yeah, there's just a lot of times man a lot of times where I was like yeah
I'm giving people like it would be people like Laura Edwards
I remember specifically one time Lee Daniels was like you're not going home really don't but
Yeah, because like I would audition and again like you're saying about my well like I would make it to the end right every audition
I know I'm talented, but then again like the industry's not I've always about talent
And it's a lot of it's hard for people to learn yeah, but I learned really quick
You know really and it was like y'all. I'm not gonna dance with Chris Brown. I'm not gonna have too small
I'm 130 pounds still y'all okay like and you know so I would make it
And it would just be so frustrating right you know, it's like y'all. I'm even humbly
I'm more talented those people that are on the job
You know and you're still not getting them
You know so for the more thing to deal with that's why for me I rushed into becoming a choreographer
I would go to my agents and be like y'all want to be a choreographer
And they would let kind of take me as a joke right you know
Yeah, yeah cool cool, and then I started
Assistants do it blocks
Out the block, but at first like they're like yeah, you know you know you got the work hard and all the stuff
And they're not a know where I sign to like D. Do at the time because that's each time you write Jim
Please sign me as a choreographer there
and he was like whoa because I was assisting a lot of people already right so here's like y'all sign your card for it and
At that time I actually that's when I booked Bieber by myself god. Oh, okay, okay, and Bieber did scooter
Just watched my youtube videos one night, and that's it your car. He's crazy really ya know. That's like
Why don't you tell us you choreograph?
And I was like well because you were dancing you were so you were no sorry dancing at the time, right?
Baga left her bag I was gone. Yeah, but he left yet even back
It was like throwing in scooters here for me like he needs to be choreographing. It's cool
Like bag is not his dough but yeah he
That's how I pretty much got it and then like well. That's how they know I was a choreographer and she was like listen
I'm here to play my position right there was already a choreographer in place, so I wasn't trying to like be like
Me that's not genuine right people confuse networking
People confuse networking period you're right like they think networking is like yeah, what's up, man?
Yo, I'm a choreographer was something something every night anybody right that's not net were not at all networking is like hey
What's up, man? I'm Nick right nice to meet you. Oh, yeah, let's go. Let's hang out. Let's be friends. That's correct
Let's create a genuine relationship, and man you might say like no I need a choreographer
You know what I do niggas dope right exact person right antidote, right?
You know I mean not just hey look at my work line. I want you to put me on a little boy
I check this. I haven't met someone the other day like the other night
I was at catches one-year anniversary party and that boy changed me this dude. It was like a big clothing line
Yeah, huge right right easy. Oh, man. What's up, man yeah, and he was like talking to me as like
Oh, yeah, like I have this male line about to come out. You know what I'm gonna. Talk to you about it
You think I want to be friends first. I hate when people talk business first. Let's be friends first
It seems like that's exactly I was like cool
I appreciate that what how to process be friends, and if you know if it comes up. What comes up?
That's how it should be yeah, I feel like all my organic relationships and partners that I work with now
That's what it was first it started from starting with Brazil before Brazil back
And it was like we were homies right and then it was like oh you shoot alright, bro
Let's do some stuff and the list goes on and on even about the choreographers
I hired for the choreo if the purpose knows Tucker Barkley your freedom who me since 16 years old Laura Edwards
It's cookie in Eastwood's like Kevin March Kevin mark gave me my first opportunity to Cory off on the tour
And I remember saying like you know if I ever get the opportunities
I'm always gonna give it to them so I gave them believe tour in this tour like it's
Crazy, and my next thing is I'm trying to get an appetizer job, bro
I don't even know, but I'm like is this crazy, but I knew it would be just like cuz like I it's like
Giving my favorite part is giving people opportunities
Whether they take it for granted or not you know like whatever, but when I hire people for me
It comes from a certain place absolutely it does and it's like and I don't know why but to them
It's not it's like you know and you know whatever absolutely or they think they could be there anyway
Whatever whatever, they think but still realistically I put you there
Why not put you there from a place in my heart absolutely you know what I mean absolutely. I got is hiring talented dancers
They're talented, but I want good people around 100%. That's what that's what fulfills. I think I think people and personalities like us
That's what I get to whether I'm finding someone to throw on so it doesn't even matter what it could be just the fact of
Like dope I know you deserve it. I've seen your work. Ethic or
I know you get overlooked or you could already be established
But like I want you to do this and feel like I hope you know what I mean
It's just a good overall thing that that I feel like gives you a sense of purpose
Yeah, no pun intended, but like straight up. That's that's amazing man
I knew some of this stuff about you before but like I feel like I
Feel like I'm I'm learning about you again and seeing and it's remote evading me to even be like
damn
I could be doing this too or oh I didn't think about it that way so it's all about that relationships
And and obviously I've known you for probably I guess
We are
We are we are the last thing. I've done with you is Dana
Yes shout out to Dana new artists if you want to say anything about him and what's what? He's working on
I've known this kid
He was like the first kid that was allowed to dance and NoHo yeah
He was like the little cute before all the little cute kids. He was the first little cute cold water and the water
Yeah, like
So Dana
I've known as well after ever and again like one of the things scooter has really inspired me to do is you know try to?
Follow in his footsteps and manage my own act and I know people were like what and I'm like yeah
And even people in ours still like what the hell and then so yeah, I manage Dana
That's how he's my first artist on managing and we're moving and grooving down, and he's got videos
I got music videos out you know like quality high quality. I'm just taking everything I've learned creatively and stuff and relationships
I've built and getting music done, and he's creating a buzz and we got some opportunities coming up good
We're just keeping it quiet right now, but yeah like I've always you know helped stars become stars
And I was like this line knows why not make most oh absolutely
And he has it and he has a chance you can sing you're right music. It looks good. He's a great family
Good family loved his parents
I'm glad that no no shade to anybody that he's worked with before, but I'm glad that he's by himself
And I know we're see him in groups, and I'd be like certain people aren't group people Beyonce Timberlake
Yeah, you know what I mean. It's good to start and get that out of your belt, but like an iron
Yeah, but it was time and well shout out to Dana man
I'm excited about that and any advice that you could give people guys once again. I'm here with
choreographer creative director clothing owner
production company owner Nick tomorrow
We're here in the studio here at the Beast work one more time for you guys
and uh the first ever podcast if is there any
advice that you could give to
upcoming dancer
Upcoming I want to be a choreographer
Maybe maybe I don't live here. Maybe you live in Boston maybe you're from, Indiana
What's the best advice you could get give them as far as?
Making their way in the industry not becoming another you not become another me
But like creating their own path and and leaving a footprint in the industry here
So the one thing I always revert to one thing right if you're not if whatever you're pursuing if you're not working harder than
Everybody you know mm-hm
It's what are you doing? You're so wrapped right for me. I feel like whether I do it
Don't I feel like I work harder than everybody doing you have to right. It's like this like the point guard saying
I'm the best in the league. It's like Stefon Kyrie you have to feel the exact same
Yeah, if not it's like yeah
I feel like yeah
I feel like I work harder than most people have to in life right so number one in anything, so this is like right generalized
now dancers and
choreographers
wise
for me like
the industry is great, and it's awesome, but you can't sit around and wait for it and
You know that because you have built this
Army you're too short you have
Who are you and to new? Whatever?
Yeah
So like like you did and I did we created our own brands people want to hire branch we want to work with brands
Yeah, especially nowadays with the internet right it's like how many followers you got yeah, you can do this job. It's crazy
You know saying it's crazy, but like yeah
I would say focus on yourself as well and also people like
Go to class a lot in like class class class class class class
Stop going to class for a second go to the studio by yourself
And that for me, that's when I like created myself
Yeah, I couldn't even afford to go to class which is why I didn't go
But I would go to the Academy village student dance studio
I lived there a little box. Yeah
And I would be there till 3:00 in the morning freestyling bus and choreograph and all alone to create my own style
100% you know, I just feel like it's hard work
And and don't wait around don't even wait around for your agents because I promise you
95% of the jobs I've gotten myself, they are there to protect you and your contracts, right?
But they also they looking at you like what do you mean? What are you doing? You know?
They're just they get calls and stuff
But still you got to go to the audition you got a bookie you got to build the relationships
Build genuine connections right work hard right be a good person number one because there's dancers
I love I think are the world's best dancers Brock
And I won't work with right because think about on a tour 99% of the time you're not dancing. No. It's Olivia
It's you yeah. It's you you're on the road you eat
sleep breathe dual personality types air spaces together wake up early to go to
Rehearsals or go on tech or do something over again change stuff?
Yeah I feel that 100% because I've experienced two people that
That that don't come with a good energy and good light it might be the dopest in the world and it's not worth the headache
and
This shit is not easy. It's not it's not easy and it's not loose and glam and when you get successful. Yeah, it's harder
it's it just gets harder I
Expect Asians rope every class you go teach now. You're like yo, this. God. Dope every time. I don't have to deliver
I can't I can't baby and I have to force myself
but I can't chill if it's it either has to be crazy musicality or the most swagged out thing ever or
It's it's a lot to live up to it is it's a lockpick tation is a could be a killer absolutely
I don't know why I used to asked myself. There's a video and then probably 1998-99. I would do the Google research after this
But it was a music video, and I had Diddy playing Tiger Woods and mace playing a reporter, and it was more money
Yeah, yeah, and I don't know why was my favorite song in the world bro, and now that I've grown up
I'm like dang. It was like forthcoming of like in foreshadowing
What was coming? Yeah, it's 100% that the more that and I'm like damn, okay? I want more
I know more is gonna come. I know more more issues gonna come, but it really is like that man
It is and it's like it's it's it. Fully is
It's crazy like you get more pressure people ask you for more things people relying on you for things running you for jobs
You make more money, but then you pay more taxes. It's like yes going on winning a mile is going on right now
Yeah, and then the pressure is tough, and when you once you feel that success
It's like a drug and then when you don't have it for a second it can make you sad or like you am I gone
Now it's already over for me. No it's not okay. I just came up with a Shh, bro. You're speaking to me, right
Yeah, I'm literally man
I'm kind of being a little vulnerable with everybody out there, but I'm going through that in my head right now
And it's like of course not
But I guess to get to the next level you have to do things that you weren't doing before you know what I mean to
change and I think that I think that it's good for people to hear that from you because a
Lot of people and a lot of people don't feel like they fit in a lot of people don't feel like I'm six foot
I'm gonna be good out here
or
I'm a technical dancer and a hip-hop dancer and a lot of people feel like I'm unique and special and it's like nowadays more than
ever
Embrace it because people want it now. You know like create you. It's crazy because I
Cuz also like the thing that was another thing like things change
But things have changed tremendously right so
The way with internet and all this stuff like it's all different so like when we first started clearing
How many people know talk shit about us?
It hasn't stopped, but it still hasn't stopped, but it was worse than it was ten times
You know and then even now like people are judging the social media stars right, and I don't judge whether I like it
Or don't like it. You can't knock their hustle, and it's like don't get left behind
You know like you want to talk. Oh my god this girl on Instagram is getting all these views
It's not even good none of this. I'm like alright well
Are you posting two videos a week consistently are you working as hard as her no then stop complaining?
Exactly if you want her spot go get it go get it, and do you took do you turn on the radio?
I'm pretty sure it goes from like 89 to the 100's
There's all different flavors, and there's all different things that we all listen to football teams that we like yeah
political parties that we support we can go the list goes on and on
Peep, there's a lane for everybody yes, there's Disney, and there's MTV and there's BT uncut and there's HBO and Netflix
Yeah, like there's it's not one way so I feel exactly the same way
You know you have to go take that yeah, and it's like I know for sure nobody's
I'm not let anybody take my spot because I'm gonna make my spot
My own special thing right that is forever changing and always evolving right you know they man they needed to hear that
Alright last thing last thing about the wrap up here with Nick tomorrow. We can go from
You guys can freakin have days to watch this, but maybe we'll do a part two um last thing. It's very serious question are
the Patriots going to repeat
Why I want to know you're wise so the Kansas City game made me nervous, okay, but Kansas City always looks good
And they always we did it last year the Colts last year last year
yeah, yeah, so I hope so I think so I think if our defense can pull it together and
Brady turns our new stars into new weapons like he always does I think we'll be good
I mean I think from Brady to our coaching
It's a coaching row because like think about like the first three games last season
Garoppolo won those four OH three out of three and one three two one
that was one right with two backup quarterbacks per set and and Rob Lowe and we still won those games and
Brady the sitting on the bench chillin crib yeah
Which is crazy. It's our coaching. It's our like full team mentality
I think the Patriots definitely have another opportunity to win this year
I don't want to be like the fan about yeah, they're winning this year because obviously we don't know
But I think they're definitely gonna be a contender again 100%. I feel like I feel like AFC
Patriots
Steelers
mm-hmm Broncos if those
Defenses like how it was I know and I'm like I became a fan of them because I'm an Indianapolis guy Peyton
So like yeah, I still love all the players that are there NFC
I wish Green Bay had a defense because I really hate Aaron Rodgers wasting his prime without a team
That's how I feel. It makes me feel bad literally when the towns of course. It's it's unfortunate
Seahawks were supposed to be hit this year
But that offensive line is not the move at all and other internet mean Falcons look nasty fathers
Look great, so they look nasty, so we'll see we might get a repeat
I just hope that if Tom ends with six the debate is over right now
I think it's already over with him you think it's still over
I think it's all right over the people that you wanna like you talk. I think so too that comeback like it says he's
he might be
Yeah, because think about this. He's been the greatest. He's won Super Bowls with not great teams
I know
Is the difference and then still want the two with not great to think about like every other like the Cowboys was like Aikman?
Smith and D. You're right it was like those three and then
Steve Young Jerry Rice
And then for the pages it's like brainy
I know and then wide receivers that would have start on other teams right like I love Jules. I love Hagen
I love Amendola, but like it's the patriot way. Yeah. I hope Julie Edelman comes back healthy
You know and the Patriots have two wide receivers that run under a43
Yeah, so if they get cooks and in a Phillip Dorsett going. Uh-huh. It's a wrap well. Good luck to the Patriots
Yes, yeah, shout out to will
First podcast, I'm here. I was here for the beginning. I remember that we're doing this in Madison Square, yeah
Shout out to the whole staff and you guys watch at home support
Whatever we got coming up music come on in DJ DJ Ryan. He's somewhere back in the booth. You know spitting it
There's a little team. I'm a beast to know what it is. Thank you
You

If You Have An Exam Coming Up You Should Stay Away From SF9's New Song, Here's Why
If youve listened to SF9s newest song O Sole Mio, youre probably already addicted to it.
Its the title song for their third mini-album, Knights of the Sun, which they just released.
The tune is super catchy, fusing Latin sounds with the romantic Spanish guitar and a hint of tropical house.
Their colorful music video is equally addictive to watch, especially with their cape dance.
With Koreas entrance exams coming up in November, students are choosing not to listen to it yet….
…in case the catchy tune gets stuck in their head while theyre studying.
Watch the music video for O Sole Mio below!.

How To Set Up Your Hydration System Like A Pro | Stay Hydrated During Your Next Triathlon - Duration: 3:25.
(upbeat music)
(electronic noise)
- Taking fluid on your bike for your next triathlon
may seem like a simple consideration.
But there is much more to it than you think.
So we have some handy tips to make sure
you go as fast as possible and remain hydrated
for your next triathlon.
Firstly, not all triathlon bikes look the same.
I mean look at this bike for instance.
But they do keep similar mounting points
for the water bottles.
We have between the aero bars,
behind the saddle, and on the frame.
but what choice or what set up should you go for?
So let's start with a bottle between the aero bars,
and a bottle like this from Profile Design
has been shaped to improve its aerodynamics.
But also having it here right in front of your face
and a straw makes it easy to access,
making it less likely for you to get dehydrated
or lack in energy so you can just
continually fuel on the go.
Also it stops you from having to move from your aero bars
to take bottles from elsewhere on your bike.
So again it's improving your body's aerodynamics.
And then another thing is the fact that is has a cap
on the top which allows you then
to refill the bottle when it runs out.
And another option is behind the saddle.
And actually this is a really
aerodynamically efficient position.
Cause it's behind your body and your legs.
However if you've ever done this before
using a traditional cage,
you may have experienced a flying bottle.
So instead you should use an extra tight cage,
like these ones from Profile Design,
which have an extra tight reinforced band
running around the cage.
And obviously here we just have one bottle on the back,
but you can run with two,
which can then store CO2 cartridges as well.
An important thing to consider is that reaching
around behind you to retrieve your bottle
isn't exactly the easiest action.
Especially when you're trying to pull it
from these reinforced cages.
So it does require a bit of practise.
So another option is actually to use these
as back up storage to then refill your front aero bottle.
Finally storage on the frame itself.
And if you've ridden a road bike,
you may be quite accustomed to this already.
So you're gonna be comfortable
retrieving the bottle from here,
which in turn will keep you hydrated more during the race.
It also allows you to stay in a relatively
aerodynamic position whilst you retrieve the bottle.
So it's really important you have enough fluid,
otherwise it could be the end of your race.
And a pro tip that I found really helpful over the years
is to check the course profile
and where the feed stations are.
For instance if there's a hill early on in the race,
you may not want to go with your full hydration
and fluids set up from the start.
Otherwise it's just unnecessary weight on the climbs.
And a pro tip is to take a bottle
of concentrated energy drink that you dilute
into your front aero bottle using water
that you pick up from feed stations,
which allows you to stick with your preferred energy drink.
So there we go, hopefully that's helped you
with your hydration set up for your next triathlon.

World War 3: Seoul orders huge military build-up to TAKE OUT North Korea
The country's navy is looking to scale-up its maritime patrol and operation helicopters to cope with the growing threat of. And Seoul hopes to form a new aviation command to control around 70 aircraft and helicopters by 2023.
The Yonhap news agency reported the new mobile fleet would include a number of high-tech KDDX Aegis destroyers equipped with advanced ballistic missile defence systems. They will also be fitted with sea-to-surface missiles to strike at the heart of Pyongyang's military.
Um Hyun-seong, the chief of naval operation, said: We will focus on improving our capability to strike the North Korean leadership and core targets inside the Norths ballistic missile operation area.
We are maintaining a combat posture to retaliate strongly if the enemy provokes.". The admiral said South Koreas forces would retaliate immediately if provoked, with any provocation on the northwestern islands being treated as a declaration of war.
The plans were announced as South Korea also said it was considering its own sanctions on.
Today, the USS Ronald Reagan, a 100,000-ton nuclear powered aircraft carrier, patrolled waters east of the Korean peninsula, in a show of sea and air power designed to warn off the North from any military action.
It is conducting drills with the South Korean navy involving 40 warships deployed in a line stretching from the Yellow Sea west of the peninsula into the Sea of Japan.
Admiral Marc Dalton, commander of the Reagans strike group, said: "The dangerous and aggressive behaviour by North Korea concerns everybody in the world.
We have made it clear with this exercise, and many others, that we are ready to defend the Republic of Korea..
North Korea has slammed the warship gathering as a rehearsal for war. It comes as senior Japanese, South Korean and US diplomats meet in Seoul to discuss a diplomatic way forward backed up by UN sanctions.
On Monday, Kim In Ryong, North Koreas deputy UN envoy warned the Korean peninsula situation had reached a touch-and-go point and a nuclear war could break out at any moment.
The situation has been on a knife-edge since Kim Jong-un's tyrannical regime fired a series of missiles, including its sixth and most powerful nuclear test.
