How was this last run of Bieber tour dude? It was a pretty epic man

I mean the belief my world - I mean with Justin for a while obviously so my well. You know I danced on that tour
Believe Tour I got to do all the choreography for that tour
And then this tour was a I got to do everything you know production design creative direction
Choreography so to see something
You've taken literally from your brain to your computer to live stage to like all around the world
Like it was super awesome. You know it's been a long tour. I'd obviously ended like a little weird with Justin
You know he decided like he was tired. He what you got to do
He needed to take a break and I fully get it cuz like we we all really feel that way
I feel like I barely see you or any of the dancers ever like in the past four years
Yeah, the people always ended we did almost two years like crazy. There's a long tour like people don't go off that long
You know so for me like that the way it ended was like sad, but at the same time
We're all like man. It feels good to you know refresh
absolutely
It's time to focus on some new thing right right of course great thing comes to an end
Definitely a blessing and you found out like you probably had internal meeting like the dancers found out afterwards
But was it like a thing of like could you feel it coming like we might be?

So no, I actually did not feel it coming you did it right so but obviously I knew a lot before the world knew of
The whole crew knew but you know we just wanted to like you know obviously for me with Justin as a friend
Yeah, and I just gave her like hey. What's up, man? What's going on?

totally understandable
And then you know just having to like you know the production manager one of my design partners
Chris Gratton
He had a lot to do and I'm sure the management had a lot to do to get things canceled to move forward
but at the end of the day like everyone was like we understand you know absolute leavin as a dancer or
in the crew we missing our family forever. You know
It's it gets a lot so the pros and cons to being on tour forever
100%. I know he posted something a while ago like
Doing meet-and-greet afterwards etc etc
You know sometimes I feel depleted, and I was going I personally was going through the same thing and I'm like
one
one-thousandth of a scale of that but even just like
Even sometimes being at Millennium and right after class having to talk to everyone the second I'm done
I feel like I have nothing in me
And I'm like I can't imagine being Justin, Chris,
Beyonce like there's no way I go exactly
and like people don't know until like you actually go with them and see that right or
Even like us on a smaller level compared to them
exactly
Yeah, after classes you have to stop and take 50/60 photos, and you're hungry
And you just had plans after class
But those are canceled right your lingering in Millennium parking lot for a hour you want to watch the video back or like yeah
And you feel like you you feel like you have to because some of these people travel from all over the world to come take
Your class or they finally get to meet Nick DeMoura or WildaBeast or whoever and it's like okay
I owe it to these people I don't want to let them down, but at the same time
I'm going a little crazy in my head, and that's how I felt so that was my first time
I felt like dang something. He said personally like related to me 100% right on that scale, but that's dope man

What is it like working one-on-one with Justin like what's the process you?
Choreograph you guys give you routines to the dancers or somebody else comes in or whatever the case is
But like there's Justin learn it when you guys are teaching and Isha Lee, or is it like a thing of?
Afterwards you get with him and say okay, this is what we got or so it's different every time, okay, so like
Sometimes like okay, so as I said like mostly like the first singer like when we're you now came out
Yeah, you know he call me or me. I figure how that happened management. Call me
This is the new rack whatever you know start working on it
You know so I'll start working on it and then like time. I met up with him. Yeah
I know I think bug came with me or blaze came with me
And we'll go to you know to his house and was I'll start teaching him already like the hook
You know just like the basics like yeah, this is what we're doing like rolling out and sometimes. It's like
Oh like you know things quick
It's like VMAs next week start rehearsal tomorrow
And then I'll get all the usual e what I'll do most of the time is I'll get all the dancers together
Yeah, we create everything I create everything and then
He'll come in and then I'll pretty much teaching him off to everything and then and so
Also, because he's so busy that he barely has time to be there for eight hours. I
Gotta like get his stuff so when he comes in he can learn what he needs to do and then go do a radio interview
Go do a press interview and then go to the studio, and you know he's busy schedule so
He's evolved in that too since you've been with them
So I've seen cuz I watch closely since you've been on. Yeah like like gotten better retaining and doing more in the shows definitely
He's definitely pushed push some selfish. I I think my favorite is on tour I came to Utah kimby, Utah
I think yeah, I think my favorite is boyfriend cuz in the breakdown all the other new songs are fresh
But then breakdown a boyfriend like the music everything the jump it
That's my it's cuz it takes you back to like when you know we used to watch NSYNC Britney exactly like a dance break

The HS record shows there's dance crews
Yeah, that's why I wanted to make my own because I watched Darren's dance grooves, and that's why I did

It completely is that and that's the feeling that it gave me even the 808's and the music production it made me feel like this
Is why I started when I watched that part right that was flying. Utah was crazy I
Remember walking around with CJ and Johnny a little bit at that tour just saying what's up?
And like people know the dancers like people know like that's him. That's her blah blah, which is crazy

Icons like the whole world being obsessed with every little thing he does what is the the craziest place
That the fans like go for it go wild whether it's in the crowd or like they find out what hotel are you guys are?
At like what country or city that if there's one there's probably a bunch
This is ever the abundance, but first of all I said yeah, believers are the most like oil fans. I believe it
They're awesome

And it's crazy cuz like they've they've they have grown up with Justin right and so like
They know and especially because he's been very open about like hey
I like when you guys do this and not attack me so this last tour was kind of cool the fans were like
really obviously excited
But super respectful right you know and then right it actually opens up a door for you to actually just talk with these fans you
know they really want to know you because just needed because you know Justin or they really just like what you do for him or
Whatever it is
But some of I don't know like some of the South America is the craziest right I mean
same way with teaching right

They're very passionate in South America even when it comes to dancing right right. I think in general
You know what I mean this because like I don't know one time we like just never mind for Justin but like for us

You know we I think it was Believe Tour
We were driving from the hotel the W
Which we couldn't leave all day because it was like thousands of fans outside really Starbucks across the street
We had to leave they were posted up outside posted up post it up street blocked off. It was madness
Yeah, we're at the W. Hotel. They'll remember
We were just trying to get to the venue in these vans and fans were literally on top of our vans while they were driving
Wait, I think I've seen footage of this
Yeah, so it was pretty nuts and so yeah
I would say South America man it they take the that is crazy, right?
I can't imagine getting that at such a young age
I remember seeing the one time video on MTV for like a year before anybody was like Justin. I was like
Oh, this kid's dope he's gonna blow up a little blah
Yeah, but I felt like nobody knew and then all of a sudden. I started hearing, baby
Everywhere, and I was like okay. It's a wrap. Yeah. It was insane, but that's amazing about Justin

And I saw that you guys had a party for this and I was on the opposite side so I didn't come over

I heard that you are in the process of or maybe you already did of
Starting your own production company
Yeah, so yeah, what is what's going on with that so yeah, so obviously I've designed
Indirect design and directed to major tour so far which is Ariana Grande's honeymoon tour and Bieber's purpose tour
And I feel obviously as I've only done two so still I guess I'm new in the industry in that world at it
So I just pretty much don't want to start actually
It's more about having a place for people in that realm of the world to find me absolutely right so I've been like
Yeah, pretty much starting my own tour company. I want to be like the
Coz was a funny story right so I went to scooter, and I'm like yo, I want to crave direct ariana grande
That was my next question, so go ahead go ahead. Yes, so go ahead so I'm like screwed
I want to do Ariana grunty was like what and I was like yeah, I want to create Directorate or right
I knew it was coming up and he was like all right well
You know put something together, and you're right pitch it to me all right cool
So I pitched it so while I'm doing like my whole pitch. I put the whole tour together the whole creative top to bottom
Transitions video content everything right there right there perfect presentation, and then I was like at the time
I thought the creative director designed the stages, which they don't happen. I still trying to get myself in that lane
so yeah
so I I
Taught myself online how to draw in 3d that was that I saw you with the program one day or something
Yeah, okay, so I'm drawing on YouTube for three days straight. Just trying to draw a stage right I had my friend. I'm like oh
Lord yeah, help me cuz he can draw okay. I got come through help me
He helped me and so I pitched when I pitched the show I had to meet with Chris Granton
Who's her production manager?
I pitched it to him and the stage is already, but I really like the stage, too
And so I went he's like blah blah blah and sounds like cool
So really how it stores usually work like they'll find a distro designer and action designer
Drawers the stage the lighting designer does the lighting design the crave director just does the creative it just does the choreography, okay?
Yeah, so I ended up going in and did the production design, and then became the production designer as well
so by like mistake almost I now know how to build stages which is a good thing to have so now with my
touring company when you come to me right you're gonna get a stage design everything you're gonna get creative and
Got a laying designer on board
And I can choreograph and do this personally
So when you come to me you're getting a one-stop shop right a whole tool instead of like oh
I got to get this person in this person this person like yeah, we can do it all yeah
And the thing is to like people are looking for more show designers in the end
I'm looking for creative directors many people that need creative directors or pop stars that have dance and creatives and that are coming up and
Don't have one yet right like you know
Metallica can call me now right because they liked what I did for Bieber because they really just need a stage design and some visuals
That's sick concept, and I mean absolutely they're not looking for creative director right like imagine dragons not looking for
Just a show designer, so that's what I'm moving more into right now. That's amazing that makes sense that's amazing know for sure
It's it's one of those things, and I I know I have questions that dancers have for you
But like as a choreographer breaking in that Lane. I feel like even for myself
You know I get I get frustrated myself because I feel like I have to be on the jobs to get the experience to see
It and learn it
Much like a nappytabs you like know how to do the light and this now cuz they've been doing it for so long I feel
Like it takes you getting those opportunities to be like okay
I need to watch this person and see what they're doing and why you know what I mean fully my world tomorrow
You can ask all those cool guys even now like I'm always close with the crew right as I?
Would always hang out with him cuz I'm so intrigued and there's so many questions
I would literally go like on my wedding to - he was like the head carpenter, and he works for all access okay
So I would be like yo
So how's this even done like what's the process and he would explain to me the process and I would even on the my world
So I did like a load out with him one day and a load in like just to like just to see just to be
In there, and I wasn't like setting stuff up
But I was like taking stuff from the trucks right pushing it in and they're giving shit because I'm weak you know like but they
Are understanding? I'm just like also being with them like and being those guys
Those are the guys like once you get into my position of a critic oppressor you deal with them a lot
You know like yo, why is the toaster not working right? Why is this not built wisest Lighting's not on
What's the cues are wrong? What's going on guys yeah?
Yeah, those are guys you go to and those are the guys who run the fuckers absolutely. No. You're good. You're good. We're here okay
We keep it out. Yes. I'm still bleep. We're good, but they're the guys who are running the show
Yeah, like yeah, you see a lot of people you're seeing the talent on stage
But there's a hundred and twenty people underneath like underneath deciding which is behind the same
You know in the front of the house making the show run and when you do queues for everybody at home to like let's say
Let's say you're doing. I don't know uh
It could be any track
But let's say it is where are you now in the chorus comes in doom did it on good noon?
Are they watching what you create and choreograph?
And then you're meeting with the lighting director and sound guys to be like okay now
This is when lights happen at 45 seconds into this track playing yeah, that's no more so like okay
So say like right before the first drop, and we're you know everyone jumps in there toasters
Yeah So the guy needs to know beforehand when six toasters go down right the dancers need to know when to hop in them gotcha
Everything so they hop in and Beiber hops in his and then it's don't don't don't don't don't don't
That's two toasters two toasters Justin's toaster
And then there's content lighting hits lighting hits Kyle hits cryo hits pyro hits all
for one
More second moment in the show that is crazy and a team a team is doing that on TV
There's six guys running each toast of the guy at the computer for the toaster the pyro guys
Watching the pyro boards to make sure no one's in the way right running the pyro boards the cryo Jets somebody's somebody's doing it
It's not automatic because somebody could be in the to be there. Yeah, well it can be automatic right
there's people overlooking nice to make sure always looking like the pyro guy has to has a trigger and
Headphones and absolutely sometimes like Justin will walk do something different that night
And if he walks by the pyro board he's like kill kill yeah
See guys we're learning everybody you're out there learning. I'm learning at with you
It's nuts so when you go enjoy a concert next time still enjoy it
But you got to think about everything that goes into a because I know a lot of people like oh
I want to choreograph or or I want to dance same thing with dancing man. It's like you got to perform
You got to learn the steps you got to make it not look like you're doing yes
Look good be in shape have something special like think about like that that some
Even our dancers like we have these lifts that go up 20 feet and when you're looking at it
It looks stationary, but it's like this crazy and like you know some height you have to get over those
You know all the girls this tour had to learn how to fly in harnesses 50 feet in there
I saw that up close and personal when when my lady was on the pink tour. I was like I couldn't do it
I couldn't do it crazy. Yeah, but again like when I booked everybody first day of rehearsal
I had to explain to them like this is what it is gonna be flying in harnesses. You're gonna be toaster popping in lifts
You're gonna be dancing in water everything like which I saw, yeah
and I'm like are you guys all okay with that right because I when I start rehearsing and I get to my production rehearsals I
Don't have time for excuses right I have a job to do yeah, and this is you're part of your job
Are you down or not right so periods down?
Hangman in the show the show was amazing. I the show was amazing at that point. I was like oh 20 20 Timberlake
I was like that's probably the best concert
I've seen just from the entertainment aspect in the moving stage and then when I went to Bieber
I was like damn this is it too because and and for a little bit to me
Surpassed because I'm a dancer. You know as a show person if I wasn't just into dancing I'd be like okay, Timberlake
That was dope or whoo all these concerts that I've seen but when I like looked at it from a dancer
perspective and the music and
Obviously all the production's in stage. I'm like people are sliding down ramps. There was a moving lift
That's going back and forth with trampoline
I believe and I can that's crazy
And then water in addition to all of that and then on top of that justin has so many hits
Yeah, that like it was a different feel for every single thing yeah
And what as a dancer knowing some of the dancers on the stage? It was so dope it's kind of what I've patent
I'm a beast after it's like we all are special and have our superpowers
We can dance together as one but you got to see people do them. Yeah also
Yeah, yeah, you know which was I think you you casted it great and like shout out to the team speaking of which
Soph storm two nights ago, Aubree. Yeah. Yeah, she s already we stood
Yeah, she was there with Carlina Britch, and I was like okay bet and she's like yeah. We're done in blah get married

I'll bring a shout-out to her because she's like my right hand why people don't know that she's like my right hand like when I'm
Putting moment she Mystica that she's sitting there at the computer, and I'm around going crazy. She's crazy down and she sees also sees my
She's like my main like one of my main is assistants, but on purpose tour
She's my main production assistant a creative director assistant, so she definitely helps me out so much in my case
She also knows the industry. She's been in so long we both assisted nappytabs back in the day
You know that yeah, how long she's been here longer than longer than me. Yeah, so we both used to assist nappytabs and when
crappy tabs booked
American I love creative directors their first like being like TV show creator, I can job, I called Napoleon, and I'm like yo
Napoleon like I'll do anything to assist you. You don't have to pay me I'll get you coffee
I'll get you food ever ever you need. I just want to learn from you guys
Hey, my house of five and that's when I started assisting them on American Idol
And they were doing creative and they're doing the treatments and working on set and that's how I learned I learned
Attack that's how you got to be able to like humble yourself like one more success cuz even at that time
I'm traveling the world she already know who you are
Yeah, people knew who I was but I was still like yeah, there's another level
I want to get to so I got at that level I'm nobody
I need to go humble myself at that level 100% and be a servant 100% okay with serving. I think is really important and
that's it's crazy because that I feel like that's
That's where I'm at now and people people with me and that they would never know this but they're you know they're like oh
You're good
You got imma beast and build a beast in the clothing line, but I'm like yeah
That's dope and YouTube etc etc and brands, and I'm like yeah, that's dope I still want so much more than like yeah
But but living it be happy. I think there's something to say about happiness, but also having that hunger still yeah, that's something
I've battled with bro. It's tough all the time. It's tough because
Think about it like yeah like all your accomplishments same thing all my accomplishments in the outside perspective people are like yo y'all are already
good
What do y'all talk with y'all complaining about like what the problem is we're such dream

Literally that the night the first purpose tour show ended as soon as like he went yeah off stage
And I left I was like what's next yeah the first night. I'm like oh my god like you'll live in the moment
That's the hardest thing for me around Mykel, and CJ yeah
Yeah, you know they're like
But no. No you did it like I'm like I no no it's like what's next cuz even now like I get it
I almost just booked a tour again as creative director, but the the
Deal this didn't work out right yeah, so I had to turn it down okay, but I mean the power of no has been awesome
But even now it's like okay what I don't have a tour lined up right now
You know what else which is why you know it's like okay?
I'm a focused on my own project right now, and then like they will come you know absolutely
I'm trying to get better with also like not stressing about what's next I mean things always ended up coming up
So why would I stop now?
Like it's it's it is that you know what and the age thing gets in my head too and like not to put a limit
Because there there are no limits, but I'm just like okay
I know that I've done well so far
But I have other things that I want to attain to how is it gonna happen, okay? It's not happening
I got to make it happen and there's only so much you can make happen
yeah in an industry that depends on other people to a certain extent right for sure so I think it's just that balance and
Finding it, but I I want to tell you personally
Obviously you're good keep fighting, but you're good
You know what I mean
and now you get to you get to sit back and create your own and work on yourself and
Get it to the point that you want it to be too man. All right I
It's crazy because I feel like a
lot of people
Like in this Lane like twitch is on Ellen every day hosting and he's a household name and in movies
And I'm like damn
I want to do that and they don't have people like twitch that are like oh
I will I want to be teaching as much as you are
Then I have teachers that are like I want to be going with Nick timorous doing with grass always greener always
So it comes with the territory, but I was gonna ask you how scooter affected your outlook
But obviously I know I've known that you now that you've like reached out to him about certain artists are doing things
But like seeing a mind like scooter if you guys are know we're talking about Scooter Braun. You could name his credits for

I watch the name, but like getting to be around cousin Napoleon is one of the people for me
Yes, the followings awesome choreographer awesome creative director him and tabah are amazing
But I see I watched Napoleon whether it's worldly dancer ABC
I sit back and watch him like how he's talking to people what he's doing what his moves are the concept that he gives like
How was that with scooter because I think everybody looks at him as number one in the game for what? He's right
No, no for sure. It's been. It's cool. He's like again like I'm very observant. You know and
Even like when we'll be on conference calls about
Award shows and how he deals with those or you know things I hear yeah things
He tells me whatever, but it's funny because like his birthday. Just passed while we were in London on a shot the scooter
Yeah, so we were in London like he had like a birthday dinner invited me
And there was a couple people there
And and we all have to go around the table and talk about scooter, and so like when I got to me
I was like I just don't even think you know like how much you affected me really you know like his
You know scooter you think like yo this dude manages Justin Bieber awesome
Right, that's it. Yeah. That's level one like on all the levels
He's done like he's producing movies and producing TV shows
Or he has apps that are so successful, and it his all the stuff he does for charity, and then now the family man
He's been coming household. He's built and it's like

You know so like I was like kind of I had told him like you know you don't understand like you know he's motivated me
To do other things like he's motivated motivated me to then you know
Not just focus on just dance or yeah direction like whether it comes to management?
Or it comes to my clothing line or producing my own TV show or my own movies

He's successful in many things right not just one and not in and because he could chill

What's the best advice you could get give them as far as?
Making their way in the industry not becoming another you not become another me
But like creating their own path and and leaving a footprint in the industry here
So the one thing I always revert to one thing right if you're not if whatever you're pursuing if you're not working harder than

It's what are you doing? You're so wrapped right for me. I feel like whether I do it
Don't I feel like I work harder than everybody doing you have to right. It's like this like the point guard saying

Stop going to class for a second go to the studio by yourself

But I would go to the Academy village student dance studio
I lived there a little box. Yeah
And I would be there till 3:00 in the morning freestyling bus and choreograph and all alone to create my own style
100% you know, I just feel like it's hard work
And and don't wait around don't even wait around for your agents because I promise you
95% of the jobs I've gotten myself, they are there to protect you and your contracts, right?
But they also they looking at you like what do you mean? What are you doing? You know?
They're just they get calls and stuff
But still you got to go to the audition you got a bookie you got to build the relationships
Build genuine connections right work hard right be a good person number one because there's dancers
I love I think are the world's best dancers Brock
And I won't work with right because think about on a tour 99% of the time you're not dancing. No. It's Olivia
It's you yeah. It's you you're on the road you eat
sleep breathe dual personality types air spaces together wake up early to go to
Rehearsals or go on tech or do something over again change stuff?
Yeah I feel that 100% because I've experienced two people that
That that don't come with a good energy and good light it might be the dopest in the world and it's not worth the headache

This shit is not easy. It's not it's not easy and it's not loose and glam and when you get successful. Yeah, it's harder

I'm a technical dancer and a hip-hop dancer and a lot of people feel like I'm unique and special and it's like nowadays more than
ever
Embrace it because people want it now. You know like create you. It's crazy because I
Cuz also like the thing that was another thing like things change
But things have changed tremendously right so
The way with internet and all this stuff like it's all different so like when we first started clearing
How many people know talk shit about us?
It hasn't stopped, but it still hasn't stopped, but it was worse than it was ten times
You know and then even now like people are judging the social media stars right, and I don't judge whether I like it
Or don't like it. You can't knock their hustle, and it's like don't get left behind
You know like you want to talk. Oh my god this girl on Instagram is getting all these views

Are you posting two videos a week consistently are you working as hard as her no then stop complaining?
