it's time for show-off Sunday, where everyone has a chance to show off their
own car, and here's this week's winner,
Thank You Scotty for choosing me to show off my rig on your channel for
Show off Sunday, here I have my 2002 Holden jackaroo SC
which actually is an Isuzu trooper with a 3 liter four-cylinder turbo diesel my
Holden jackaroo has the Isuzu 4 Jx1 turbo diesel engine with 260,000
kilometers on the clock, which is around about 161,500 miles, from the factory
this x1 comes with around about 157 horsepower running about 117
kilowatts but after 16 years who knows how many horsepower does this
engine still have, now I'll show you around the rig and show you some cool
features that are on here, now some features about my Holland Jackaroo as
you can see it's got a pretty tough bull bar at the front, two spotlights, behind
the number plate plate just tucks in I guess you say inside the bull bar it has a ARB air tank
compressor, currently not working needs to be serviced, moisture in there something
preventing it from working, maybe some wiring issues it was working when I first got
the vehicle but not at the moment it is not working, with that air compressor
there's a one outlet valve at the front and one at the rear, used to pump up
tires and whatnot on the go, inside the vehicle pretty standard got some I'll
put some picture annotations up there, you have the automatic gear selector lever, we
have power and winter obviously as it affects the traction I believe, I know
the winter mode button is was mainly designed for the American market, with the Isuzu
Trooper there like, I said this is an Isuzu Trooper in Australia badged as
a Holden Jackaroo, power button I think for more power going up steep
hills, I believe don't quote me on that, all I
know is with a winter button and its purpose for the American market, features
on the inside I have a UHF CB radio, 40 channels in Australia I mean on that
model on this model 3, anyway I also have a low water coolant alarm which is
designed and built here in South Australia, some history here about my
Holden jackaroo, I have owned only owned it since of late June of this year, I did
drive quite a long way to go and buy it I didn't drive myself there but two
mates came along, they drove me up there to a town of Port Lincoln which is
just over six hundred kilometers away by traveling by car, well I bet the guy up there in
Port Lincoln and bought it off him and drove all the way back on that day I
left at about 8 a.m. and then I arrived back home in early morning at 1:00 am,
something else as well of only I've been bogged already once
since owning it and I was only tight at the moment I've been off-roading I have
I do plan to go off-roading once I do some more extreme modifications
but at the moment I'm not sure if you can see in the picture there but I do it
do only have all terrain tires in the front and standard road tires on the
back and I do plan to get brand-new, all the way around including a spare tire
all-terrain tires just to help me my job off-roading, decide to get mud tires for
purposes of off roading, just small features on the vehicle this
is something really cool that I really like about this vehicle is that
the fuel tank, diesel tank I should say, it isn't standard the previous owner put a
custom 130 litre diesel tank, which if I Drive normally and not put my foot down
say drive like I stole it to say, I just I could just get it about a hundred
kilometres to a tank and that's if I can drive carefully I
can get it to last round about a month, okay finish off the video showing
you the engine bay pretty standard on these really as you see got to you've
got dual battery system to the left of the view is the main battery
which powers the whole vehicle the second one to the right is for
accessories I think helping power the dual spotlights on their bull bar and
you see up top with those 3.0 is the intercooler and underneath that being the
turbo, since this is a turbo diesel and next up I'll turn it over, the engine
