F1 2018 car launch dates: Schedule revealed as Ferrari and Mercedes CLASH

In 2017, the new set of rules saw cars with wider rear wheels and lower rear wings as the F1 authorities tried to increase the level of overall speed. This was unusual as regulation changes are usually made with the object of slowing down the cars to make them safer.

But the 2016 generation of hybrid cars were heavily criticised by fans and drivers alike, with the competitors complaining about the inability to push the tyres in particular because they would overheat too easily. However, last year's models also attracted criticism because their high-downforce structure created huge amounts of so-called "dirty air" behind them, making it hard to follow and overtake on the track.

So when will F1 fans get their first chance to see the new cars for the 2018 season ahead of testing? F1 2018 car launch dates Mercedes: February 22 Location: Silverstone Mercedes are going for a fifth consecutive F1 World Constructors' Championship and will return to the (current) home of the British Grand Prix to launch the Mercedes W09.

HYDRO DIP RC CAR CHALLENGE!! - Duration: 14:20.

We got the RC car back.

It's nice and dirty today,

but it's charged.

It's ready to go.

We got the cover with the GoPro on it.

This is the last time

the truck is ever going to look like this.

That's right Sharers because today we're gonna

take this RC car and we're gonna hydro dip it.

Three, two, one.

But this car is fully charged.

So you know what, let's take it for a little spin.

Let's get some air.

Let's take it out for some epic jumps.

Go, wow.

That thing is ready to go.

Flips like crazy.

Oh no.

Sharers, this RC car has got tons, and I mean tons of power.

It's got a full battery.

Oh, we got a fun day ahead of us.

I almost just slipped.

Yeah, you could say the grass

is a little bit on the muddy side today.

But that makes it even better for this car.

RC car versus these logs.

Will it climb over, or will it get stuck.

Let's find out.

Oh yeah, easy.

Whoa, I just got hit by stones.

This car has got way too much power.

Okay Sharers, since this RC car has got a lot of power.

I don't know.

It may be because the battery is fully charged or something,

but it is so powerful Sharers,

I think it's time to get some air.

Whoa, you saw in the last RC car video

when we took the car off this insane jump.

(car screeching)

Well, yes, it survived that jump,

and Sharers now I'm thinking we take it up another level.

We got a couple more jumps to choose from.

We have this jump, nice and big.

We have this jump.

And then, we have this jump.

Now you might be thinking.

This doesn't really look like a jump,

but Sharers this is a natural jump, and it has a lot,

a lot of kicker in it.

So you know what the best way to show you?

Let's take the car off it.

Oh, and by the way, the pond is definitely

not frozen anymore, still cold though.

RC truck versus hidden hill jump.

Let's do it.

Here we go, in three, two, one, go.

And the car survived after all that.

Oh yeah, wow.

This is one powerful RC car.

Now Sharers, the good thing about it being warm outside

is that you can actually use spray paint, and it'll work,

but it's not gonna be warm tomorrow,

so we better get started.

Let's take this RC truck,

and let's get hydro dipping.

By the way, if you're new here,

and you don't know what hydro dipping is,

well it is something totally epic.

Make sure you hit that subscribe button,

and get ready, because this is going to be one awesome,

fun, RC car mod.

And step one to hydro dipping is,

well you got to pick out the paint colors you want.

(majestic music)

Oh yeah, check this out.

All spray paint colors.

Oh yeah, we have got a lot of colors to choose from.

Check this out.

We have shared Ghini green.

It matches the lambo.

Oh yeah.

We got black, we got pink, we got yellow.

Sharers, comment what color

we should hydro dip the RC truck.

Well, we're definitely gonna need white.

Then I'm thinking we'll do some blue and some green.

Sweet, step one is complete.

Now we're on to step number two.

For step two we're going to have to

disassemble the RC truck.

Take the cover completely off.

Now we're going to need to take this car cover,

and we're going to have to wash it off,

'cause it's got a lot of mud on it.

And anywhere where there's mud or dirt,

the paint won't stick, so let's get it rinsed off.

(water running)

Oh yeah, all clean.

Now comes the fun part.

Time to start using the spray paint.

The question is though,

will the spray paint work on this plastic?

I have no idea if it'll stick.

It might just peel right off.

But hey, I guess there is only one way to find out.

Let's do it.

Here goes nothing.

Now if you're wondering why I'm spray painting the car

as opposed to hydro dipping it.

Well the first step is we got to get the car all one color,

so I'm going to use white as a base coat.

I'm just going to spray it on,

and then from there we'll be able to hydro dip the car

with these multiple colors using the water technique.

(water splashing)

Will this work?

Only one way to find out.

Let's do it.

Here we go.

(spraying)

Sweet.

The car is all white now.

Check it out.

It's looking good.

Now while we're waiting for that paint to dry,

it's time to get everything set up for the hydro dipping.

Now it's been a little while since I've been hydro dipping,

so I'm not sure where all the supplies are,

but let's find them.

(sliding door)

Let's head back to the swag closet.

Whoa, it is a mess in here.

We've got a lot of toys, lots of fan mail,

and we got even more supplies back here.

Definitely using the orange, and then some light blue too,

and some awesome purple.

We're definitely gonna have quite

the collection of hydro dips, so let's get started.

Now we just need a bucket to fill with water.

Let's see, where is that bucket.

We got more fan mail over here.

Wow, lots and lots of fan mail.

Sharers, you are epic.

There it is.

The hydro dip shoe bin,

you can see all the spray paint on it still.

Let's get these shoes out of here.

We got to somehow fill this with water.

The only issue with it being winter time is that,

yeah this hose, oh, no.

There's no water.

This could be a problem Sharers.

If we can't find water,

we're not gonna be able to hydro dip.

You can't hydro dip without water,

so I don't know what we're gonna do.

We got to somehow get this water on.

(water running)

Oh yeah, we're in luck.

Let's put the bucket underneath.

Let's start filling it up.

Oh yeah, hydro dipping here we come.

(water running)

Bucket is filled.

Let's drag it over to the side.

Oh my goodness, this bucket's full.

You know what?

I didn't think about this Sharers,

but the car body might be too big for this bucket,

and we actually might have to get a different bucket.

I really hope it fits in here.

That is the question.

I think we have to get a bigger tub to fill up,

because I think the car is gonna be too big.

But, let's see.

Is this even dry?

Oh yeah, it's dry.

It looks good.

Let's see if it fits.

If it fits, then we're good to go.

If not, we got to get a bigger bucket.

Will it work in here.

Oh yeah, it'll just fit.

We are in luck.

Oh yeah, we got all of our spray paints up here.

We got our bucket full of water.

We got our test piece.

We got the RC car.

Sharers, I think it's time to get hydro dipping.

Let's do this.

Before we hydro dip shares, it's important to remember

you want to wear gloves, because

your hands are most likely gonna get spray paint on them.

And if they get spray paint on, it's super hard to get off.

So get your gloves on.

Then the next step is shake up all your paint cans,

then pop the lids off, so you have quick,

easy access to them.

(playful music)

The nozzle came off.

Oh no, it broke.

No, the purple is broken.

Okay, we're not gonna be able to use purple today.

That's okay.

We got a bunch of other colors.

We got this light blue.

Oh come on, don't break.

Come on.

And we got this epic Sharer Ghini green.

Time to hydro dip.

Here we go in three, two, one, go.

Oh, look at that blue.

It looks so good.

What color is this?

Oh, white.

Let's add some more blue.

Let's add some orange,

some green.

That green looks cool.

Check that out.

That is a cool green color.

And then we need some dark blue here.

Oh yeah.

Okay now it's time to do some mystic.

Oh my gosh, look how cool this looks.

I love the white with the orange.

This looks so good.

I have no idea how this is going to

turn out actually Sharers.

This might all completely blend in.

This might look horrible.

I have no idea what's gonna happen.

Oh my gosh.

This looks gross right now,

but it could turn out really good.

It could turn out bad.

I don't know.

Let's get the test piece.

Okay, here we go.

It's been a while since I've hydro dipped,

but let's try this.

Hydro dipping this lego block in three,

two, one, go.

What's it going to turn out to be like?

Let's see, let's see.

Oh, no way.

Look how good that looks.

Whoa, this is so cool.

Check it out.

No way.

I love the blue, the orange, the white,

and then the green and the yellow.

Then you got, down here you got some more orange,

with some light blue.

You got some yellow down here.

Wow, this looks so good.

Whoa.

Yes, okay it's been forever since I've hydro dipped,

but I think I still got it.

We got to clear the bucket now,

and let's hydro dip the RC car.

This is going to turn out so good.

And we'll put this over to the side to dry Sharers.

Once it dries it's gonna look even better.

By the way, to clear a hydro dip bin, all you got to do is

stick, like a stick or something in, roll it around,

and it catches all the spray paint.

Check that out.

That's all spray paint.

How crazy is that?

How to Watch Bernie Sanders' State of the Union Response Tonight: What Time Will It Be?

Bernie Sanders is delivering his own State of the Union response tonight after Trump's finishes, and you won't want to miss it.

Already a frontrunner and potential favorite for the Democratic Presidential ticket in 2020, Sanders has said that he's considering another Presidential run, but hasn't made a decision yet.

But if enthusiasm for his post-SOTU speech is any indication, he should give that run some serious consideration.

His supporters were ecstatic when he announced that he would be giving his own response to President Donald Trump's speech after the State of the Union is over tonight.

But how can you watch his response? And what time will it likely be?.

If Bernie follows the same process he used for his response to Trump's speech last year, then his speech will be posted on his Facebook page as a livestream about 30 minutes after Trump's speech.

Last year, Trump's address to Congress ended at 10:09 p.m.

Eastern and Bernie began his livestream response at 10:43 p.m.

Eastern, about 34 minutes after Trump's speech ended.

To make sure you catch Bernie's speech live as it happens, make sure that you're logged into Facebook and on his Facebook page: U.S.

"Like" his Facebook page and then, under "Following," choose to turn "Notifications" on.

(Make sure that notifications are on for live videos.

This way, you'll get notified whenever his page starts a live video.).

He was also one of 24 Democrats who voted against a measure to block the Justice Department from interfering with state marijuana laws.

He also voted against amendments to increase veterans' access to medical cannabis.

Kennedy also supports the Affordable Care Act, but isn't quite as sure about single-payer bills.

He says he supports single-payer in theory, but wasn't sure about certain details in Coyners' recent bill, for example.

Kennedy was also a big supporter of Hillary Clinton, which is an advantage or a disadvantage depending on who you ask.

Elizabeth Guzman, a member of the Virginia state legislature, will deliver a Spanish-language response, officially sponsored by the Democrats.

And Donna F.

Edwards, a former Maryland Congresswoman, will also give an address for the Working Families Party.

Alright so the big game is coming up this weekend and I'm going to share with you some

of the top places recommended to me by my friends on Facebook for you to go catch the game.

These places were picked based on best food, great TV's and an awesome atmosphere to catch

the big game this weekend.

So let's put 2 minutes on the clock and let's get started.

OK so the number one place that was recommended to me was The Grumpy Monk in Carolina Forest.

Its an awesome atmosphere where you can go catch the game, hang with friends and also

have some delicious food.

The next place recommended to me was Wild Wing Cafe.

This is one of my personal favorites to go we love going there on Tuesdays for their

two fer Tuesday wings, I would definitely recommend trying The Boss style wings,

they are awesome!

Number three, Carolina Ale House.

This is a fairly new restaurant that just opened up near Broadway At The Beach where

they have a ton of TV's, there are pool tables and other fun things to do as well as some

really delicious burgers.

Next, is Dagwood's Deli.

It's an awesome place to go get a delicious sandwich.

One of my personal favorites The Prime Rib Sandwich and watch the game

on one of their oversized TV's.

If you have children, and you are trying to watch the game, but also have them also entertained,

then maybe go check out Dave & Busters over at Broadway at the Beach.

It gives them the opportunity to play with video games and do other fun activities while

you get to concentrate on the game.

Another option is Sam Snead's over in Carolina Forest.

This place was recently renovated and an awesome place with a great atmosphere for watching

the big game.

And the final place to check out the game here in Myrtle Beach would be

Buffalo Wild Wings.

They have multiple locations up and down the beach, delicious food, and a great atmosphere

for a sporting event.

So check that one out as well.

Hi! I would like to give you a brief introduction into what we do in the laboratory.

We are absolutely fascinated with the brain and the complexity of the brain, with its eighty billion neurons and its intricate connectivity.

We are trying to study the brain at several different levels

ranging from the study of single neurons and its input/output properties to the study of

circuits, where several neurons are aggregated into recurrent motives.

Secondly, we are interested in mechanisms of CNS disorders, and we are absolutely

convinced that CNS disorders can only be understood at the circuit level

So we are applying all these techniques the study of epilepsy, one of the most common CNS disorders.

We've assembled a great team

to address these questions at all these levels, so I would like to take you on a tour through the lab.

My area of interest is in

investigating how neurons

transform synaptic input into an appropriate

output and more specifically into how their dendrites, their side of input actually act as

Computational units. To tackle these questions, we use some sophisticated

electrophysiological and imaging techniques that employ two-photon pulsed lasers.

We firstly patch onto cells, fill the cells with a fluorescent Dye, and then we can actually stimulate

individual synapses using two photon uncaging of glutamate.

In our lab, we're interested in how the Hippocampus computes information.

Therefore, we investigate networks

And network patterns in vivo. To do so, we perform two photon calcium imaging in neuronal samples

This allows us to gain deeper insights how different states of brain activity are correlated to behavior

Having all these different techniques in mind which we perform here in the lab, one can think of an implementation in medical research.

Epilepsy is a severe disorder

which finally causes seizures in patients. It is our interest to

Investigate these seizures on a network level and for this purpose, we are using

electrophysiological and pharmacological approaches

We can investigate

how different antiepileptic drugs act on a network level in the brain and we want to know

why different antiepileptic drugs work in some patients and why some patients do show a pharmacoresistance.

Today I'm going to do a full review of these Pillsbury Filled Pastry Bags.

This is the cream cheese version.

It does also come in vanilla and chocolate fudge.

The way I'm going to do this review: I'm going to use this product to decorate some

cupcakes.

Then I'm going to take this Pillsbury frosting – it's the same cream cheese Creamy Supreme

frosting and I'm going to put that in a disposable decorator bag with a tip and also

decorate cupcakes.

Then we will compare the two and see how it works out.

Alright, so let's go ahead and get this box open and see what we've got.

Okay, the bag's pretty big.

I know one thing I tend to prefer is to have less frosting in there – it makes it easier

to manage.

But I'll show you a trick on how to overcome that.

So let's get some cupcakes in here and give it a try.

Alright, so let's decorate some cupcakes.

The instructions say: "push frosting toward start tip and twist top of pastry bag."

So I've done that a little already and I think I've got it down as far as I can.

"Step 2: remove plastic cover from start tip by tearing at the perforation."

So there is a little perforation right here.

It's a little tough to get off, but it comes off.

And now it says: "squeeze from the top of the pastry bag and frost."

So that's their directions now I did mention earlier that I feel like this is a little

bit big and a lot of frosting to manage, so what you're going to want to do is you're

going to want to pinch it about hallway and you're actually going to let some of that

frosting work its way back up into the top of the bag.

Then you're going to twist it here, giving yourself a much smaller portion to work with.

So I'm going to frost these cupcakes and we'll be back.

Now, I want a little more frosting so I just push that down from the top half of the bag

so it's in place.

So here is a close-up shot of the cupcakes I decorated with the pre-filled bag.

I'm really quite happy with the quality here.

The edges aren't quite as sharp as you'll see that we get out of a professional decorating

tip, but overall, I'm very very happy with these results.

And just for a comparison, here is what we got out of those professional tips.

Now the one on the right was done with a professional tip and the one on the left with the Pillsbury

tip.

I'm happy with both cupcakes.

In terms of convenience, I do give this product 5 out of 5 stars.

Everything you need is right here and there are no dishes to wash.

When it comes to ease of use, I give this product 4 out of 5 stars.

It is definitely something that can be done, but in the beginning you need to use two hands

to squeeze really to get the pressure that you need – or you need to twist the bag

halfway down so it isn't something that I can comfortably give 5 stars.

When it comes to value, I think that's a very individual decision.

If you're someone like me that has a lot of baking supplies on hand – maybe you have

a pastry bag; you've got a variety of decorating tips – this is not the product for you.

Pick up a can of frosting – it's only $1.79 – this one is $2.99, save yourself

some money.

Now, if you're not like me and you don't have these supplies on hand, pick this up.

It's incredibly convenient and the results do turn out very similar to more professional

supplies that wouldn't be disposable.

When it comes to quality, I do give this product 5

out of 5 stars.

I was quite happy with the results and I think it looks just like the metal 1M pastry tip.

I don't think that there is really think that there is anything that can be done to

improve the quality.

So overall, I would give this product 4 out of 5 stars.

Now if you're like me it's not going to be something that's really useful for you,

but I'll tell you who it is useful for: pretty much everyone else.

This is useful for the mother or father who picks their kid up at 3 o'clock in the afternoon

only to find out that they need 24 cupcakes by 9 o'clock tomorrow morning – you need

this product.

This is for the person who's never really baked before; never even held a pastry bag

in your hand – you need this product.

I think it's great, pick it up – unless you're like me, then maybe just get a can

of frosting.

Making an entrance – ocean liner style - Duration: 3:40.

In the beginning of the 20th century

ocean liners often featured

what was called a 'grande descente' – a grand staircase for passengers to make an entrance into the dining room

wearing their most fashionable evening wear – a great stage for a social display.

"Action!"

In the exhibition we're recreating a 'grande descente' to give a sense of this daily ritual.

The garments that we're recreating all belonged to the same owner, Miss Emilie Grigsby, a New York socialite.

She travelled on liners between Europe and America

She was a client of couturiers like Paul Poiret, Madeleine Vionnet and Jeanne Lanvin.

She wasn't afraid to wear quite shocking fashions for the time

Poiret was famous because he did away with the corset.

The costumes in the exhibition are museum pieces and they can't be worn

So theatre costumiers are going to come into the V&A, study the garments with our textile conservators, and create replicas

They can be worn by a model who will then bring them to life.

I became involved in this project because of my background as a costume maker

I'm used to making clothes for performance

the costume is moving, the garments in the museum are static, but I think to see things in wear is a very different thing

It's only when you're trying to recreate something, that you really get to understand how it was put together in the first place.

They're incredibly simple. They're almost ethnic. I had no idea they were by Paul Poiret.

The cape for example is made out of two rectangles and drapes beautifully

And then the bow dress – the bow itself is separate, but otherwise the whole thing is just one piece of cloth.

When we were talking about the brocade dress, the original was a woven fabric with metal thread

Technically it would have been possible to have it rewoven

but it would have taken months and cost thousands of pounds. The most important thing was to

recreate the pattern.

We decided to use a process called digital printing, which is practically recreating

the design on a computer and have it printed on fabric

The digital printer can be set to repeat.

And here it is. It's missing that effect where it picks up the light and it shines

so glitter highlights – fake metallic thread.

Often in fashion exhibitions you have the dress on the mannequin, but you don't get an experience from all angles

Filming the model wearing the replica dresses was to get a full sense of the total look coming down the grande descente.

It's always a challenge trying to recreate something from a past era for a modern body

but I think these particular garments work extremely well

They just feel timeless and it's lovely to make them live again.

It's August here, and we're in Vancouver today and we're about to check some coffee shops

so let's go!

Well, because it's a latte, I taste a little sweetener in there,

light sweet.

I think the espresso is sweet.

And they have a nice foam on the top and lovely latte art

on the top although I just sipped it.

It's good, I like it!

That's good!

It wakes me up, it puts caffeine in me I don't mind sitting here and waiting for

the whole day, I have my Americano that I can drink as long

as I sit here and study because it's not that bitter.

If you really don't like that taste of the espresso,

I recommend this Americano, it's really good.

Three of them have espresso.

The Americano, they added water (hot water) in the espresso, it's called an Americano!

The latte, they add milk to it, in the espresso and it's

called Latte!

It just depends if you like bitterness, if you like really really

bitter coffee, espresso is the best thing for you.

The Macchiato basically means the shots over the milk

so they put the milk first into the cup and then they put

the shots on the top, with really nice, pretty foam.

The shot can sit on the top and when you sip it,

you also taste the shot plus the really good steamed,

foamy, creamy milk.

That's all about the Macchiato, and if you add caramel drizzle on it, it's going

to taste much better!

It's called Nitro Cold Brew and the foam sits on the top

after a while so it's good, let's try it!

Wow, it's super smooth, light, you can really feel the

lightness and sweetness on your tongue so if you want something cold and not espresso,

not milk, I think Cold Brew is the best choice.

It's not beer, trust me!

It's Cold Brew.

Scamp Life: How the Biolite Stove Works - Duration: 2:53.

Hello there! I've got some fan-freakin'-tastic videos that I'm

working on right now of these nomads that I met at RTR, but they're taking me

a long time, they're very involved because they're gonna be great videos!

In the meantime, I would still like to do a video for you, so I'm gonna show you

simply how our wood-burning Biolite Stove works! A lot of you in the last video

liked barron talking, so we're gonna have Barron tell you how it works!

The Biolite converts wood into energy via a phenomenon called the Seebeck Effect

The Seebeck Effect works on the difference in temperature between two

different things. So, you have the probe that's in the fire and the heat sink

that's on the back of the fan and the difference in those two temperatures

somehow produces electricity.

Some of that electricity is then used by the fan

to pump more oxygen into the fire, burning up extra sediment in the air

which would otherwise become smoke. So it makes a hyper efficient fire.

The rest of the energy created the fan doesn't use is then put into the little lithium

battery on the back. You can use this to charge your phones, laptops*, or run lights or whatever.

This was our only source of energy beyond the car when we first started camping.

We would make tea or something and then plug our phones into the battery

as the fire burned and that's how we charged both of our phones when we were initially off-grid.

It comes with a lid which... we don't love all that much

because it lets out a lot of heat and it's not a very useful shape.

We'll normally just put a plate on top of it when we're cooking.

For the way that we live, the bio light is extremely handy. If I were going backpacking or something,

I don't know that I would bring it unless it were maybe a longer trip.

One cool thing if you did have it when you were backpacking is

that you could use it as an electricity generator, so you wouldn't have to have a

solar panel and an extra battery and everything, you could just have your

stove that also converts wood into electricity. So, if you're in a pinch you

can charge your phone or whatever you need. GoPros, that kind of thing.

We love Biolite and they're doing some awesome things for people in other countries.

They have lots of products that bring electricity to people

that wouldn't otherwise have it and the efficiency of their fires reduces

smoke inhalation, which is one of the leading causes of death in third-world countries.

So, we really believe in what they're doing and if you're gonna get

anything like this, you should get it from them!

It's Monday here, right now, this exact moment.

Finishing up my coffee and

finishing up the editing of the vlog.

Gettin' that uploaded to YouTube before I start my stream.

As I said yesterday, last night, or this morning,

technically, it was a late night for me.

As I said, I'm trying to do more night streams to catch a

different side of the community, different side of the audience

that can't normally watch me during the day 'cause of school

or work or whatever.

And I enjoy it, I really do.

I enjoy seeing new faces or

faces that I only see at night, right?

During the day, for weeks I won't see anybody and

then I do a night stream and it's like,

"Hey, long time, no see. How you been?"

But the late nights, man, are killing me.

It messes up my morning mojo.

It's 9:30 and the vlog is just now uploading.

I should be eating breakfast and getting ready to start my stream

if not already be started.

Got to find some balance there to do the night stream but don't

let it go too late.

As I said, I do have to go.

My stream's are scheduled for 9 A.M. Pacific

which is 10 o'clock my time so I got about 30 minutes

to eat something, finish the vlog,

and get going but later on I do want to talk

to you guys about this.

'cause she is baking.

As I said earlier, I wanted to talk to you guys about something

and I'm actually glad that I waited because Tiffany came down

and her and I talked for a little bit as well about the

similar topic and then we came up with a plan.

So we have a plan and we're gonna talk to Sierra and Bryce

a little later as well once Sierra gets home.

So the last few weeks guys, I've been really content with

where the vlogs are, where the channel is.

I've come to a realization that this is where our channel is,

this is the way YouTube is,

this is our audience that we have.

Someone made a comment recently in one my chats that said our

vlogs have become boring and that they stopped watching.

And that I should take a break to re-evaluate and

make them more interesting again.

And my response was this is a daily life channel.

This is what I do.

This is what I've been doing for almost six years now.

Just documenting my life.

And yeah, there's been times and moments where we do something

fun in the name of the vlog.

You know, the famous line "do it for the vlogs."

But at the end of the day, I live my life and I capture

moments throughout the day and I share it with you guys.

That's what this channel is.

And right now my life is boring.

Which means the vlogs are boring.

And for all you guys that are like,

"Oh, it's not boring."

Let's be realistic here. I live an ordinary life.

Other than the fact that I don't go to work everyday,

I work from home and I play video games and I livestream and

I make YouTube videos, my life is pretty much

the same as most people.

I have a 13-year-old and a 10-year-old,

they go to public school.

My wife's a stay-at-home mom.

Takes care of the house, takes care of the kids.

We have a dog, we pay our bills, we pay our taxes.

We're stressin' about money right now.

We have over our head in debt 'cause of medical bills.

We are the everyday ordinary American family

minus how we make our money.

And so, yeah, right now my life's boring so therefore the

vlogs are "boring".

And I've been content with that. I've been okay with that.

I've been focusing on Twitch 'cause I love Twitch.

I love the live format.

I love just talking and chatting with people.

I love playing video games, talking about video games.

It's like the perfect storm for me.

I love being on Twitch right now.

It's my favorite place to be

but I also recognize that I am a business owner.

Three years ago I decided to make this a business.

I quit my job and went full-time with YouTube

and it's been great. It's been great.

The first two years were absolutely amazing

but last year was rough.

Last year YouTube changed some things,

the ad apocalypse, the algorithm,

the search engine, things changed and

our channel went down, dramatically.

Just so happened to be the same time we bought this house.

So the stress levels have been high.

So being a business owner, being business savvy,

I've got to think about the business.

I've got to think about my family.

And if I owned a restaurant or I ran a corporation,

if business wasn't doing good you have to evaluate your

business and make choices to keep the business alive,

to keep your employees paid, to keep your company running.

And so with YouTube being my business,

I've got to do that.

I don't want to change the core values.

I don't want to change what this channel's about which is me and

my life and what's going on in my life. Right?

So right now I'm a dad, I'm a husband,

I'm a business owner and so what we do on a daily basis is going

to be the core of this channel but I also recognize that this

is YouTube and it's for entertainment purposes.

And the vast majority of the viewers on the channel are kids

and kids don't care about my boring life.

Now some of you do, some of you do, but I'm saying the vast

majority of kids do not care about my life.

If the title and thumbnail isn't some OMG,

poppin' off, challenge, trendy something,

then they don't click on it.

It's not recommended to them.

So for the sake of the channel and for the sake of my sanity

and the sake of my household, my livelihood,

we've got to make some changes to the channel and

I wasn't sure what that was gonna be.

I watched the Daily Bumps 5 Year Montage

and I watched their channel update

and the comment how they're basically

not going to be daily any more. They're gonna change things up.

They've been doing daily vlogs for a long time.

But if you look at their daily vlogs,

a lot of the stuff they've been doin' has been

a lot more stylized, right?

Montages, skits, little fun things with their kids.

Those aren't necessarily the types of things I can do because

I don't have little kids.

Can't dress up the kids and play some imaginary thing 'cause

they're not little kids.

But, with that being said,

my 13-year-old and my 10-year-old do watch YouTube.

They do watch YouTube and they watch YouTube on a regular basis

and like you saw in yesterday's vlog,

Bryce comes to me and says,

"Hey Dad, I'd like to do X, Y and Z.

"It'd be fun if we did this thing.

"I'd love to do that thing."

And we've done that a couple times in the vlogs.

But it gave me an idea, that what if we did that more often?

What if we gave the kids more control of the channel?

And said hey, what's that one thing that you wanna do?

What's that thing that you saw on YouTube

that you really liked, you want to make,

you want to do the same thing or recreate it? Right?

A lot of things he watches like Dude Perfect and WolfieRaps and

these guys do these crazy experiments or

what happens if we take 10,000 rolls of duct tape and

wrap it around this thing. What does it do?

So that's kinda an idea that I thought of.

It keeps the core value of our daily life but makes it fun and

interesting for YouTube and potentially,

hopefully gets some new eyeballs to the channel and kind of

reinvigorate the audience that we're missing.

650,000 subscribers guys and our videos barely get 20,000 views.

And I love you 20,000 people.

The 20,000 of you, 30,000 of you guys that come every single day

and watch all our vlogs and play catch up, I love it.

I get tweets all the time saying,

"I just five last weeks videos.

"Five videos in a row. I love you, thank you."

You guys are the real MVPs.

But it's the other 600,000 people that have just stopped

watching 'cause our life has gotten boring.

Our videos have gotten boring.

And then the longer it goes without they watching,

the less that YouTube recommends the videos to 'em.

So they don't even see our videos anymore.

It gets really, really sketchy.

So anyways, long story short, guys,

we're gonna start doing some more fun and challenging things

and hopefully try to make the vlogs a little more

entertaining while also keeping the core value of this is my

daily life and I'm just a regular Joe just like you.

So that's kind of the plan, that's the idea.

Hope it works out.

Hope is works out because this might be the last year,

guys, if things don't go up and improve,

I don't know what that means.

I don't know what the first step is.

Sell the house?

Sell the trailer? Downsize?

Get something small again?

Or go get a job?

Tiffany'll get a job to keep the house and

With that being said, let's go back inside and

help Tiff with dinner.

Okay, I just looked back at that clip and I realized I had a big

black dot on my forehead the entire time.

I apologize. It comes and goes.

When I put it in my pocket, and the camera's like

sideways it falls off the lens.

And then when I pull it back out sometimes it's

back in the middle of the lens.

It's on the inside, I can't get rid of it.

But I just took some compressed air and shot around

and it looks like it fell off.

I don't see it now.

Maybe I should go back outside and re-shoot that.

No.

- [Tiffany] Definitely goopier with the bananas in it.

- [Clintus] Yeah?

- They've got to refrigerate for a couple of hours.

- [Clintus] I'm excited.

Alright, this little girl's off to another adventure.

What do ya got going on tonight?

- We have a Culver's night for my school.

It's like a fundraiser. - [Clintus] Fundraiser, okay.

And why are you going?

- Since I'm in NJHS, I have to,

I don't have to but I want to help.

- [Clintus] You're volunteering. - Volunteering, yeah.

- [Clintus] You're volunteering your time.

- Yes. - [Clintus] Very nice.

- My turn to play taxi driver now.

Got to take this kid to basketball practice and

then I have to go pick up Sierra from Culver's.

So yeah, I'll be in the car for about an hour.

Alright buddy. - Alright.

- [Tiffany] You have a great practice.

- Okay.

- [Tiffany] See you in a couple hours.

- No.

- [Tiffany] Well, I might be in bed, we'll see.

- I'll see you in the morning. (Tiffany laughs)

- [Tiffany] Love you. - I love you too.

- [Tiffany] Just picked her up. How was it?

- It was cool. - [Tiffany] It was cool?

- Yeah, so we weren't allowed to,

the kids weren't allowed to serve food.

Like give the food to people but

I basically cleaned tables and

chairs like once people left.

I picked up trays from the tables and above the trash can

and then I got to clean 'em like back.

- [Tiffany] Yeah.

- And I got to clean 'em with the rags.

- [Tiffany] Oops, going dark on you guys.

- I got to clean 'em with the rags and pick up trash,

pick up people's stuff. Walking around.

- [Tiffany] Yeah. So it was cool?

- Yeah.

- And then she rewarded herself with a side of fries

and what kind of a concrete did you get?

- [Sierra] I had a cookie dough. - A cookie dough concrete.

But while we were there, of course Daddy's like,

"I want ice cream. Bring me home some ice cream."

So we did the pint deals again.

And it's a four for $10 deal so then Sierra got to pick one out.

So you know what, Sierra?

- I'm not gonna eat it tonight. - No.

- I am stuffed after that.

- So yeah, we got four of these again.

This'll last us, you know what this means though, Sierra?

We're not stopping to get ice cream this week.

We'll be good.

This'll last us all week. - Yeah.

- Cool, 'cause we got four of 'em.

One for each of us.

So we ended up going with cookies and cream for Bryce,

I got Reese's chocolate.

- Daddy got a salted caramel, butter pecan type thing.

- Double, yeah. - I got mint Oreo.

- So we're set on ice cream for the week.

- [Man] There are people that are burned.

There are people that are done with the game.

But where do we

expect Bungie to start?

- Alright, so I'm done with the podcast.

I went and picked up Bryce from basketball.

The girls just finished "The Bachelor"

and Tiffany surprised us with some Culver's pints.

- They already know that.

- I know but I'm sayin' it. - I like your shirt.

- You like that? Smooth.

- [Tiffany] Soft. - Soft that's it.

Salted double caramel pecan, my flavor.

All the flavors are very obvious.

Bryce was like, "Can you guess who's flavors and who's?"

What'd you get?

You got cookies and cream, right?

- [Bryce] Mhmmm.

- Sierra got mint Oreo and Mommy got peanut butter Reese's.

We all have our flavors we like.

Pretty easy.

- I don't know, your's was tough.

Strawberry cheesecake. - That's true, I, yeah.

- [Sierra] It was cheery cheesecake.

- Cherry cheesecake.

- Oh, there was a cherry cheesecake.

- [Sierra] Cherry cheesecake, cherry chocolate chip.

- Cherry cheesecake, that's a good one.

The berry cheesecake also is a good one, too.

- [Sierra] There was banana peanut butter.

- Thank you. - Welcome.

- So we started the vlog with coffee and we're gonna end the

vlog with coffee

'cause I am

prepping the coffee maker

for tomorrow morning.

Probably the best feature of this coffee maker is that you

can set it to brew at a certain time.

So all you got to do is load it with water and coffee,

set the time and you're good to go.

I ground up a fresh bag of King's Coast.

This is King Gothalion's EZ Morning Roast.

Oh, so good. Look at that.

It's a full bag of coffee there we ground up today.

Smells so good.

I was tweeting it out, I was like,

"Smells almost as good just ground up

"as it does when it's brewed."

Like fresh brewed coffee's like

one of the best smells in the world.

So good. So good.

Today we will make Piaji ( Onion Fritters )

I hope you will love today's reipe

Let's start today's recipe

We need all these ingredients for making this dish

Onions - 3 ( Medium )

Gram flour / Besan - 8 tbsp

Chopped green chilli - 1

Chopped coriander leaves

Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp

Carom seeds / Ajwain - 1/4 tsp

Salt

Roasted cumin powder ( Optional )

Water

And oil to deep fry

Cut the onions first like I have shown

Always use a sharp knife to cut the onions

Like this

Cut the remaining onions in the same way

Sliced onions are ready

Separate the joints of onion like I have shown here

It is done now

Take a mixing bowl

And put all these ingredients in it

Take the required gram flour to make a thick batter

Here I am adding 5 tbsp first

Then we will add more if required

Carom seeds / Ajwain

Turmeric powder

Roasted cumin powder

Chopped green chilli

Chopped coriander leaves

Salt as per taste

And mix

Now add the required water to make a thick batter

** The batter consistency should be little thicker than usual batter for making any pakoda **

So add the water and gram flour carefully

Mix it very well

** In this recipe onion quantity should be more than the flour **

Again I have added 2 tbsp , so total 7 tbsp flour

This mixture is done now

Check the batter consistency by making a ball like this

** The consistency should be like this **

Now it is ready to deep fry the Piaji

Oil is heated now

Make a ball in the prepared mixture

And place it in the hot oil

Take out the balls once it become light brown or half cooked

Then deep fry all the balls for 2nd time

Both the sides has turned to light brown now

Take it out into a plate

Fry the rest of the balls like this

Here all the fried and half cooked balls are little cooled now

Take a chopping board or any flat plate to make the balls flatten

Apply little oil on the board

You can flatten them on your palm or using any bowl

Like I have taken

Take a ball

And flatten it gently using a bowl

Like this

Make the remaining in the same process

It is ready to deep fry

Oil is medium hot now

Carefully fry the flatten balls in the hot oil

Let it fry until both the sides become dark brown

Now both the sides got nice dark brown colour

It is done now

Take it out into a plate

And fry the remaining

Crispy Piaji ( Onion Flatters ) are ready to serve now

It is very easy to make and tasty too

You can serve it with sauce , chutney or with Ghuguni ( Yellow peas curry / Matar curry )

Can you live without a brain?

Well, you might think the most obvious answer to that is NO, but if you want to get technical…it's

definitely not impossible to live without a brain, and we're going to tell you how,

right now on lifes biggest questions.

So, lets talk about the brain.

The brain serves as the center of our nervous system in all vertebrate and most invertebrate

animals.

It is the most complex organ in a vertebrate's body, containing approximately 15-33 billion

neurons that control most processes in the body that facilitate life.

You might assume that there's no way anyone could live without the most complex organ

in our bodies, but you would be wrong.

You can survive, and live almost a normal life, if you are missing most of your brain.

According to a 2007 study, doctors examined a 44 year old man who lived a normal life,

even though he had an extremely tiny brain.

Earlier this year, a case was reported where a woman was missing her entire cerebellum,

yet she graduated, got married and has a child.

The cerebellum contains half of your brain cells, and she didn't even know she was

missing it.

The important functions in our brain are not designated to just one region, but are supported

by several regions.

So if one part of the brain stops working, or if you're born without it, the rest of

the brain can take on the job.

This phenomenon is called neuroplasticity.

So what about if someone is missing their entire brain?

Can a person live then?

There is a rare condition called hydranencephaly, where a child is born without the cerebral

hemispheres.

The cerebral hemispheres make up the shape of your brain.

In someone with this condition, The brain is replaced by sacs filled with cerebrospinal

fluid.

There is no known cure or treatment for the condition, but it allows you live with only

a brain stem, not a full brain.

Kaliysha Barret was born with hydranencephaly and she lived to be 6 years old without a

functioning brain.

Another boy, Trevor Judge Waltrip was born with the same condition lived and to be 12

years old, even though his doctors said he wouldn't live past 12 weeks.

He was unable to communicate, and was also blind, but he did respond to some forms of

basic stimulus.

According to his mother, he hated being alone.

The brain stem controls autonomic functioning like breathing and maintaining blood pressure.

This means that you can live without your cerebral cortex, the part of the brain that

controls higher functioning processes like memory, speech and personality.

So in short, it is possible to live without a large chunk or your whole brain, but its

not possible to live without a brain stem.

So what about someone who has lost use of their brain, like someone in a coma, or someone

that's become brain-dead.

Can a person survive without a brain then?

Well, sort of.

There have been cases of comatose people who do not need a machine to breathe, which technically

means they are still alive.

There have been recorded cases of people waking up from a coma after 10 years to lead a normal

life.

But if you are totally brain dead, there is no chance they will ever be brought back to

life.

However, the heart's electrical system can keep itself beating for a short time after

a person becomes brain dead.

Kidney and gastric functions can continue working for weeks of being officially brain

dead.

But without a ventilator, to move the blood and oxygen through a person's body, the

heart beating would stop very quickly.

Its not certain how long the body of a brain dead person can function.

In the 1950's 6 patients in france were kept alive for up to 26 days without blood

flow to the brain.

It is believed that with the help of ventilators, the body of a brain dead person could be kept

alive for quite some time, maybe even forever.

But the longer you keep a person on life support, the higher the risk that tissue will become

infected.
