Every Business Owner Needs a Business Planner. Here's Why: #askjustin - Duration: 5:53.

Hey guys.

This is Justin Goodbread with Financially Simple.

So, I've been busy, and look.

I was out mowing the yard on the bush hog, and this splinter cut my lip.

So before you ask, because I know someone will, "What happened to your lip, Justin?",

that's what happened.

I was bush hogging, and a splinter caught it and ripped a piece of skin out, and it

hurts.

Anyways, I was with a group of business owners this week, and they said, "Hey Justin, why

do I need a business planner?"

That was my "Ask Justin" question of the week.

So let me give you a couple of scenarios that I've dealt with just this week.

It is Tuesday, Tuesday December something or another - November - I don't even know

anymore.

But anyways, I've actually had these three scenarios happen.

The first one was a very long-term friend of mine, he called me and said, "Justin, I'm

getting crucified on taxes this year.

I've been listening to you preach about tax planning.

Help.

Sent over his financials - very successful, almost an 8 figure net worth, I mean very

successful.

This guy, he knows his stuff.

He sends over bits and pieces of it throughout the day yesterday, and I meet with him, and

I say, "So-and-So, based on what I can see just real quick, I can cut about $30,000 in

taxes.

Let's get your CPA on the phone."

We got the CPA on the phone.

The CPA's like, "Yeah, we can do those things.

That we can do.

It's not a major."

(Somebody's trying to call in.)

Anyways, he goes, "Yeah, we can do those things."

Almost $30,000!

Nonetheless, it was a big deal.

So that particular business owner has all sorts of attorneys, all sorts of CPAs.

They never had a CFP look holistically at their finances and show them: here's how you

can reduce taxes.

Then, as I was talking to that business owner, we went through and saw six different areas

of his business that we can add extreme value to and position him for tax planning benefits

using tax free dollars long-term.

That was number one.

The second phone call occurred this morning.

I had a referral from a friend who said, "Look, I'm 40 years old.

I have a business that does $7 million a year in revenue.

I want to retire in about 10 years."

Perfect.

We've got a book coming out here very soon.

I don't even know what the title is anymore.

They've changed it 5 or 6 times.

But anyways, you can build net worth and retire in 10 years if you're a business owner.

So instantly, he and I started talking.

I said, "You know, we can do this.

We can do that.

We can do this."

And he's telling me information, and he was like, "Brother, man, I need some help.

Everybody I talk to just wants to sell me stocks and bonds or sell me some whole life

insurance policy."

I'm like, "Man, look.

As business owners, our number one asset is our business.

We have to have somebody holistically who speaks the financial language, but who's there

to help us drive the value of our business."

Yeah, we're gonna deal with those investments.

We're gonna deal with some insurances.

We're gonna look at those things, but that should not be the driving force.

He actually had somebody try to sell him a cost-segregation study and then collect 40%

of the tax savings from the cost-seg study.

It makes no sense, but that's what happened.

I had another individual just reach out to me.

We've been on the calendar for today, and he said, "Justin, I'm buying into an 8-figure

business.

I'm in my early 50s.

My wife and I are worth 7 figures today.

I've never done this before.

I've never bought into a business.

I've never been an individual business owner.

I need help."

So we're listening, and we're talking through the scenarios on the various circumstances

that he's dealing with, and I just asked 2 questions, and he stopped and looked at me

and goes, "I hadn't thought about that."

Well, we've gotta think about that.

Plus, we've gotta be able to think about all these other scenarios.

So I began putting all those different scenarios in place for him, and he goes, "Dude, I need

help.

Come help me."

So the reason why business owners need a business planner is because a true planner, a true

planner who focuses on business owners -we're working with dozens of businesses if not hundreds

of business owners who are facing various things, and it's more than likely I have seen

or a good business planner has seen the things that you're gonna run up against.

We know the language.

We know how to talk the talk.

We know how to communicate with the other professionals like attorneys and CPAs, and

if we're good at our job, then the other attorneys and CPAs often value our advice.

Now, does that mean we're always 100% right on T that we're not gonna miss something?

No, that's why we say, you've gotta have a good CPA - a good CPA.

I actually had a CPA the other day - this is a big rant for a second.

I showed a CPA how to cut their clients' tax bill down $70,000, and the CPA said, "Well,

I'm not gonna show it to my client because it wasn't my idea."

Are you kidding me?

She's like...

Or this individual's like, "No, I didn't think of it, so I'm not going to show my clients."

I'm like, I'm gonna tell my client, they need to fire you and get a "good" CPA in.

So you need a good CPA and an attorney.

Look, every business owner, every business owner, needs somebody that can look holistically

at their life and drive value - net worth increase.

That's what we're tracking.

So guys, I wanted to give you that "Ask Justin" today.

Why is it that we need a financial planner for business owners?

That's why.

We're dealing with things.

We think differently.

We're working in capacities that very few people know how to work in.

If we are business owners and we started a sole business like myself, we even know how

to do transitions and prepare businesses for sale and all the other fun stuff.

So with that, I've gotta go answer this phone call from another business owner who's gonna

pay $700,000 in taxes unless they implement some of the recommendations that I've been

working with their CPA on, and I think I've gotten it down to about $90,000 in taxes.

All legal.

Just various strategies.

But, I've gotta go answer that phone call.

Hey guys, like I say every week, life is hard.

Life is complicated.

Life can be frustrating.

Um, but life is good.

Life is good.

Hey look, ya'll go out and make it a great day.

'I Don't See Any Love Here' Shares Judge 'Scary Mary' - Duration: 3:48.

- Miranda doesn't trust her husband Adam.

And with good reason.

Truth team what do you have to say to this couple?

Judge Mary.

- Come on kids grow up.

I don't see any love here.

You know, your relationship is bent on hurting each other.

And in ten years from now you're gonna wake up

and say "What the hell have I done with my life?"

- [Vivicia] Yeah.

- And then you've got a kid who we hope

is gonna get through this unscathed.

So you better figure it out.

Maybe it's time for you to split.

(applause)

- Areva

- You know Miranda and Adam,

children from homes with domestic violence

are more likely to have psychological problems.

They're much more likely to try to commit suicide.

They're much more likely to, themselves,

become violent once they grow up.

And they're more likely to be addicted to drugs and alcohol

and to have other substance abuse problems.

So while you all are cheating and fighting

over the definition of oral sex versus intercourse,

you're harming your son.

And your son would rather be from a broken home

than to be broken.

So you've got to get it together.

(appluase)

And you're standing there crying Miranda.

And I gotta be hard on you because ...

- I know I know.

I'm just I'm thinking about my son.

- [Vivicia] What are you thinking about your son?

- But are you thinking about him

when you're sending those naked pictures?

Are you thinking about him when you're throwing

a brush across the room - No, I was completely...

I honestly I was completely selfish at that point.

Because honestly I wasn't sending them to him.

I was sending them to his phone so she would see them.

- But Miranda, Miranda, stop.

- I know that anybody who's ever

in my situation will do something.

- Miranda.

- Like I wasn't ...

- Slow down.

Mother here, mother here.

What I do I'm modeling for my child.

What you do you're modeling for your eleven year old.

So what you do in private that you think in private,

your kid is smart.

He figured out the mistress.

What eleven year old starts texting their dad's girlfriend

saying, "Don't break up my family."

You're putting a child in adult grown folks business.

That's grown folks business.

This aint child's business.

- He's gotta enjoy being a kid.

(applause)

- He's parenting.

You gotta grow up.

You gotta grow up.

- If your son came home to you

and said "Mom, my wife is cheating on me.

Has been cheating for several years.

She's hit me.

She's abused me.

I've done the same thing.

Would you tell your son to stay?

- No.

- Then what are you doing?

(applause)

- Dr. Judy.

- So this is obviously your decision, right?

We're not here to tell you what to do

and how to live your life.

But we do wanna give you some resources.

So, we reached out to the Luwandi Counseling and Coaching

in Cincinnati Ohio, and they've agreed

to give you six months of couples and individual therapy

to address all of these difficult issues in your marriage,

and to help you figure out whether or not you're gonna

co-parent as separate individuals

or maybe you guys will be able to heal this relationship.

And we really hope that you guys take that on.

(applause)

- Breaks my heart to see both of you crying.

You're two very attractive people.

And you're full of a lot of love,

but you're hurting each other.

If you all really really do love each other

you're gonna have to work at it.

'Cause y'all have done a lot of damage to each other.

- [Miranda] Yeah.

- And it's gotta stop today okay?

Get the help.

Talk to the third party

so that you guys can stop doing this.

Your son doesn't deserve it.

You all ...

That's not love.

Okay?

Maybe you all can rediscover love and date each other again

and try to go forward from here, okay?

Alright Miranda and Adam thank you all.

I know this isn't easy.

- [Miranda] No.

- But thank you all so much for having...

- [Miranda] Absolutely.

- The courage to face the truth.

NIKITA DRAGUN FINALLY EXPOSED, HERE FOR THE TEA RUMOR KILLER!?!? - Duration: 4:19.

No

There's no T. Hey bitches, welcome back to my channel before I get started if you are not subscribed here

If you go, please hit the subscribe button, I would greatly appreciate it

and while you're doing that if you could please hit the bell because YouTube is notorious for not giving anyone notifications and

Frankly, I'm over it. I mean no one's giving notifications for anything. It's very rare

So let's go into the new year with notifications on thank you, and now let's get into it

Okay

I don't know what's been going on with that whole thing once I moved back to, Michigan

Obviously I saw the in beginning I was pursuing my own

like life and I wanted like move forward with my photography skills and

then all of a sudden I come along this video on YouTube and

Allegations saying that I slept with nakita while I was here and that was the whole thing

All right, so we don't have a few times Nikita. I mean it was always around Geoffrey and for her birthday, so

It wasn't really like any alone time. I don't know how I could get out of that, but I don't know

She's super nice. We don't have any tea. I mean there's nothing really going on. I just moved back for me

I'm back out here. Cuz I

Want to do it. I'm ready to go

So no

There's no tea as you can see by the clip that I just played for you

Today is the day honey. The day that all drama channels have been waiting for some

More specifically, but we're gonna get into them in a second

today is the day that Jeffrey allowed Nate's brother onto his channel to answer some questions from you guys and I

I wasn't really into the video. I thought it was gonna be little bit more juicier the first question right out

The bat was the clip that you guys just saw I was about the whole Nikita dragon thing

Which was a rumor that was started by here for the G on October 28th

2017

in a video what really happened between Jeffery starred Nikita dragon and why Zac moved out now if you're not familiar with here for the

T she's basically someone who has a hard-on for Jeffery and will basically make a video if you fart

I think that this is honestly just another situation. We're here for the T will do anything to make a video especially about Jeffery

She herself says that she puts tweets out as teasers to see if any latches on to them. I mean on August 20th 2017

She tweeted out. Oh and by the way, the real reason Nathan's bro left the star residence. You'll have to wait and find out now

That's just her going off of hearsay that somebody was in her GM's if you watch the video that is 13 minutes in 52 seconds

The one I mentioned before you will hear her go over all of this

But I think that we can all go back to the whole

Jeffrey star being racist with the David scissor hand guy where she said that she had his phone in her hands and that she saw

Them and Jeffrey must be erases because she has the fax and it turned out that she actually just FaceTime taking it away from Sanders

You know what? She complained about Peter Mon doing the whole thing with Jacqueline Hill, but that's neither here nor there

Going back to the video that Nate's brother just put out where he exposed a nikita dragon, you know, and i'm doing air quotes

Right now, I think the moral of this is you can't just believe everything that you hear in line

You can't believe everything that a drama channel is telling you especially somebody with a track record where they just are malicious. I mean come

On and especially when they have a hard-on for someone, but you really need to know the facts that honestly

There's no facts to be known here who gives a fuck if they slept with each other. I'm, sorry are they adults?

Oh, yes, they are. That's right

So they don't need to tell you whose dinghy was going in whose vagina or anything of that nature?

It's none of your fucking business

Shame on you here for the g4 even trying to make the allegation because you can sit there and say allegedly allegedly allegedly

No

you know you were getting at you were trying to get the things stirring around the internet what you

Succeeded in you really did succeed. I think your video has 1.4 million

Viewers, so I mean good for you. I want to feel take that video down now that you know, that's not true

I don't know. What do you guys think? Do you guys think that it is true?

Do you think that they did sleep together? Even though I said, it's really nobody's fucking business

but I mean

That's why we're here right now because this is the whole story about what happened between Nate's brother and an Akita dragon

Do you guys think they slept together? Do you care if they slept each other like should we even be talking about this?

Probably not right like no, it's really not that big a video or do you think as here for the teaser?

This is all cover-up. They're all in the same page bla bla bla bla

That's all you're gonna hear about this for me. You guys, I'm sorry. This video did not drop more TV or show more facts because

There wasn't any there wasn't any it was just a quick question. There you go. I love you guys

Please subscribe. If you have not already, please check out all my links below all my social media is down there. Please follow me

I like to tweet with people

And all that kind of stuff and I love you, and I'll see you guys all in my next video. Bye

Mueller says Manafort broke his plea deal. Here's why that's 'extremely unusual' - Duration: 6:30.

JUDY WOODRUFF: President Trump's former campaign chairman is in legal hot water again.

In a court filing late Monday, prosecutors for special counsel Robert Mueller accused

Paul Manafort of lying to them and to the FBI on a variety of subject matters.

Manafort said in that same filing that he has provided truthful information.

He was previously convicted on a number of criminal charges brought by Mueller.

And, in September, he pleaded guilty to other crimes.

In doing so, Manafort also agreed to cooperate with the special counsel's team.

Here now to help us digest this newest accusation is Renato Mariotti.

He worked previously as a federal prosecutor focusing on white-collar crimes.

He is now a defense attorney in private practice.

Renato Mariotti, welcome back to the "NewsHour."

So, tell us, how unusual is this for a special counsel in a situation like this to have worked

out a plea deal, but then to turn around and say, the defendant, the person we're working

with, has lied, and we think the plea deal is worthless now?

RENATO MARIOTTI, Former Federal Prosecutor: It is extremely unusual, Judy.

In my almost decade as a former federal prosecutor, when I was in that job, I had never gone to

the step of having a cooperation deal fall apart and having to go to the judge and make

a statement like this.

And I will tell you, I worked in a very large office in Chicago with well over 100 other

prosecutors.

And I don't recall that ever happening during the almost decade that I was doing it.

So it's very, very unusual situation, because, typically, coordinators want to be on the

government's team.

That's why they sign the deal.

There are huge incentives for them to be truthful, to tell the government everything that they

know.

That is what they are instructed by the prosecutors and by the FBI agents.

And, on the other side, the prosecutors are trying to work with the cooperator.

They want their testimony.

They want their information.

So, typically, there is not this sort of falling apart to this level.

It's something that is really hard to get your head around.

JUDY WOODRUFF: So, as we said, Paul Manafort is saying what he has said was truthful.

We have got two completely opposite versions of what happened here.

But, in doing so, if what Robert Mueller is saying is correct, what Paul Manafort has

done is open himself up to a longer prison sentence.

RENATO MARIOTTI: That's exactly right, Judy.

And the judge will ultimately make that decision.

So Paul Manafort can have whatever position he wants.

Ultimately, Bob Mueller's going to present evidence and reasons and an explanation to

the judge.

And it will be up to the judge to decide, not beyond a reasonable doubt, but by essentially

a 51 percent standard, as to whether or not Paul Manafort did these things.

And if she believes that he did, in fact, lie to the FBI, she must, under law, consider

all of his behavior, including that, when she fashions his sentence.

And you better believe that if the judge decides that he did lie to the FBI and he lied to

Mr. Mueller and his team, she is going to give him a much higher sentence.

It is not going to go very well for him.

JUDY WOODRUFF: So, it appears that whatever the exchanges were that the special counsel

believes is not truthful, not factual, that's going to come out later in the statement they

issued last night.

They said that they were going to put forward the details of the defendant's crimes.

So does that tell us anything, that Robert Mueller is prepared to lay out exactly what

Manafort did?

RENATO MARIOTTI: Well, it certainly means, Judy, first of all, he is asking the judge

to consider this at sentencing.

This means that he wants the judge to take this into account.

As I mentioned a moment ago, that's the judge's duty to do.

And what it also tells us is at least some portions of this, so there's enough there

that he feels it's not too sensitive to disclose.

In other words, if Paul Manafort was lying about very sensitive classified matters, you

can imagine that being something that was all done under seal.

But here, at least I think we can expect some portions of this will ultimately play themselves

out in the sentencing process, and we will hear at least about some or a good portion

of what Mr. Mueller is alleging Manafort did.

JUDY WOODRUFF: Of course, there's so much we don't know.

We know Robert Mueller is looking at any possible connection between the Trump presidential

campaign, Russian officials.

We do know that this filing by the special counsel comes out three days, just a matter

of a few days after President Trump answered questions that Robert Mueller's office had

put to him.

And we have a statement today from the president's lawyer, Rudy Giuliani, telling reporters that

maybe the prosecutor in his zeal to get the president may have gone too far.

RENATO MARIOTTI: I see no evidence to indicate that that is the case.

And what we have seen, frankly, in the process of the interview process that you refer, to

Judy, is extraordinary deference being shown to the president.

I will tell you, when I represent clients, the government doesn't let me clients represent

-- you know, make their answers in writing.

The process usually doesn't take a year long.

So I think they have been deferential.

As to Mr. Manafort, the facts are going to play out through the process we just discussed

a moment ago.

If Mr. Mueller is able to prove that Mr. Manafort lied to the FBI, that is going to be very

bad news for Mr. Manafort, and I don't think anyone could say that he was treated unfairly

in that circumstance.

JUDY WOODRUFF: Just quickly, I want to also say there was a report in the British newspaper

The Guardian today that Paul Manafort met with the founder of WikiLeaks, Julian Assange,

on three different occasions, including in the spring of 2016, just exactly around the

time he went to work for the Trump campaign.

Now, Manafort is denying this, but, if it were true, it seems to me that could have

a lot of significance here.

RENATO MARIOTTI: There's no question.

I mean, WikiLeaks was the operation that distributed the hacked e-mails from Democrats in the United

States.

Hacking a server in the United States is a federal crime.

Anyone who participated in that would -- a conspiracy to do that or aided that would

be guilty of a crime.

Obviously, knowing about that or having discussions about that doesn't necessarily constitute

a crime, but it would certainly lead -- potentially could lead Mueller down that direction.

JUDY WOODRUFF: All right, Renato Mariotti, thank you very much.

RENATO MARIOTTI: Thank you.

Here's Why Everyone Loves the Ford Bronco - Duration: 4:34.

welcome to wacky Wednesday's where everyone has a chance to show off their

car mods, and here's this week's winner,

hey Scotty thanks for the chance to let me show off my 1996 Ford Bronco, let me

show you around, so when this Bronco was new in 1996, it was a government vehicle

driven by an OSHA inspector and I'd say that OSHA inspector is probably the

coolest guy on the job site, the biggest modification I made to my truck is a

six-inch suspension lift and some 35 inch Mickey Thompson tires, I also

installed some worn locking hubs, so here's a picture of my Bronco when

I first got it, I've spent countless hours on it to get it to where I want it

to be, I did paint the top because of all the exposed fiberglass, but the body

paint is all original and as you can see it is pristine, the engine is a stock

Windsor 351 v8 and behind that is a e4od 4-speed automatic transmission, I design

and fabricated this rear bumper, it's got reverse lights, d-rings, trailer hitch and

a full-size 35 inch tire that is on a swivel, which I can open up and once you

open this up, locks right there, and then you can come over here and with the key

can roll down the rear window and reach in here grab the handle and the tailgate

is assisted as so it doesn't break the glass window that's on the inside and in

this cargo area you have two pockets, I added a light switch here and that turns

on some LEDs, that will light up this rear area for when I take the rear seat out

and put a bed back here for camping, so this Bronco is full of many modern

amenities, you have a am/fm radio, no cassette no CD, simpler I have AC blows

cold, you have crank windows, manual locks, wing windows

that's luxury, and if you and your friends are on the cigarettes hard

you have three ashtrays, and down here I put a switch which turns on some lights

and this being in 96, it's the only year of the Bronco with obd2 and of course

have the CB for talking on the trails

something I'm not too happy about is the center console, I had to add this divider

here because anything you put in here slides forward and doesn't allow you to

put your beverage into the cup holder, I also don't like this pocket because if

you put stuff in there and close it, just falls out, I wired up a switch and two

12-inch light bars they are phenomenal, future plans for this truck are to do a

solid axle and a manual swap, if you want updates on that you can follow my

instagram at ccc 4x4, thanks for watching,

well that was this week's video and to have your car mod shown on my channel

here, check this out, so if you never want to miss another one of my new car repair

videos, remember to ring that Bell!
