Alright, into the video we go
The rock word here is really cool, unfortunately; not much has changed from last week
I'm really curious to see if the rocks near the DL railroad will spin
Although, from the way they're positioned it doesn't really look like they are :(
You can't see it from here, but there's another arch way behind big thunder
You can kinda see it over the wall on the final lift hill on the ride
This path should be opened around the same time as the Disneyland Railroad
Many of the Engineers at the New Orleans said the railroad should open around the 31st of July
From what I see, I can't really tell if they are ahead of behind schedule
But it is good to see how the rock work is turning out
It looks like it was built along side Thunder Mountain, very Impressive!
Do you guys think Disney will finish by July 31st?
Or do you think Disney will delay it?
Well hopefully if they do delay it, it wont be like the Rivers of Light Delays in Animal Kingdom lol
I wonder if those white spots on the rock are permanent
They kinda stick out a bit, but tbh i wouldn't really mind if they were
There were some better holes that i could have stuck my camera into, but...
There were construction workers on lunch breaks
Though it was a really good view of the new path,
I dont think its really respectful to record people on their lunch breaks
Just to get a better view of construction XD
Moving on, the werid purple windows are still there
This boat looks a bit too random for me, it looks like it could be one of the hiding places for the projectors
Sorry for all the sniffing, allegy season hits me hard :P
The purple stuff in the windows is kinda wrinkled
So part of the window border isn't painted and it looks like the whole thing is Temporary
However, It may be like a projection of a person walking in the window, but
Its rather hard to tell this early on
People have been saying that Disney has removed the stair case leading up to this cabin
for safety reasons, they blocked the stair case before i was born i never got to go up :/
I really do hope Disney tries to bring it back :)
Looking from New Orleans, the rock work looks fairly nice and surprisingly blends in
and for those who keep asking,
The Pirates Lair Theme is most likely gonna stay,
I think it's mostly due to the fact that Fantasmic!! will be getting a Pirates scene when it reopens on July 15th
Nothing has really changed on the Sailing Ship Columbia from what i can tell
Well nothing besides this flashing light here
It might just be a broken light though XD
One other minor thing that changed was that they covered the lady in front of the ship
I kinda have a feeling onto why they did this,
It like jumped scared me when i walked past it last week, here's an example of how it felt
I had to do that i'm sorry XD
It looks like the Canoes are getting a refurbished loading/unloading dock, that's good
The new track for the Rivers of America has fully been laid out, hopefully we get to see them refill it soon!
I hope the rock work doesn't stand out too much when on the Mark Twain
The repainted remains of Cascade Peak look a little out of place on the RoA, but then again these are Disney imagineers I am talking about XD

I wonder what those white, tiny pillars are
I wonder if its going to be the same thing seen in Florida's Big Thunder Mountain
The concrete under the bridge stands out pretty badly, i wonder how they are going to cover that up?
So many new trusses and bridges, and this one isn't even paint yet!
The parking structure is barely visible now with all the tress, such a nice sight to see
Is this where one of the water falls is going to be? Im still trying to see where the water is going to come from
Some new fencing is being added for a new path way
yep that's basically it...
I adore rock work, this is looking so cool! I can't wait to see the finale product
I wonder if it is going to be better than the rock work over at Radiator Springs? It sure does look like it
From my guess, the bent pipes are going to turn into a fallen tree branch on top of a rock
Nothing to really say here except that things seem to be moving along at a decent pace
Unfortunately, it looks like Fort Wilderness is not coming back as a guess attraction anytime soon
It probably will still be used as a chnaging room for fantasmic performers, i still hope it can come back :D
You know this weeks construction update is going to be interesting when even a pigeon cant resist watching!
I am not going to say much here since i know some people rather see the construction than what i think lol

Alright now to Guardians of the Galaxy
The outside portion is basically complete besides for the bottom portions of the building
This design look real weird, but i can for sure get used to it :P
Another thing noticed was that this building is actually being built to look like it super old
So the thing where people complaining about the new tower looking faded and dead after a couple years,
the more faded it gets, the better it gets themed, so sorry haters, you have to find a new argument XD
Not implying i like this though, it is rather cheaply themed on its side and not to mention...
They didnt want to remove the themed fire escapes in the front so they just painted them black, same with the balconies on the sides of the building
But nevertheless, i'm still giving this a ride a chance!
Who knows, this could become the best ride in Disney California Adventure :3
Here's a better look at the "faded" design of the new tower, interesting to say the least
A little disappointed that they didn't do anything with the "crumbling" walls, they just repainted them
I really do wonder what the story is going to be for the new tower, is it going to be as in depth as the TOT?
Or is it going to be rushed like parts of the facade?

Probably the hole Rocket made to break into the building, if my thoughts on the story are correct....
My thought is that everyone, but Rocket got caught by the collector and are being displayed.
That's why Rocket needs out help to break them out!
Because, tbh if rocket was trapped with them, why would he need our help to break out his friends if...
he already knew how to break out? Couldn't he just do the same thing to break out his friends? Just a thought :P
Alright, so the Fast Pass area hasn't been changed yet. The ride is opening next month so I wonder if they're...
even going to attempt to change it or just keep it the same and pretend like no one is going to see it XD
Well one thing as changed actually, they repainted SOME of the railings black and well... that's it
They repainted the railings around a month earlier, but for some reason haven't got to these railings yet
These (if you can see it) are still brown while the railings in the back are painted black
Believe it or not, the NEW black paint is already chipping off the railings! (turning off CC for a sec will help you see it a little better)
I can't believe that paint is already chipping off a whole month before opening!
Of course maybe, like the new tower, they are making it look chipped so it looks older, maybe? idk
Once again, we have to wait and see what happens on May 27th, I really want this ride to blow me away! :D
But I mean, chipped painting a month away from opening isn't a real good sign, but i still have my hopes up :)
But I do like the attention to detail with the dripping yellow paint out of the Pipe, I like it
