In another embarrassing scandal for Facebook, the largest Black Lives Matter page on the

site has been exposed as a scam site that gathered thousands in donations but did no

advocacy.

In fact, the man behind the page was a white guy from Australia, who pocketed all of the

funds the page collected.

While Facebook does not appear to have done anything wrong, the incident highlights how

the social media site looked the other way on pages that have a left-wing ideology, but

cracked down on conservative sites with honest intentions.

The page, which operated under the name "Black Lives Matter" but had an id of "BlackLivesMatter1,"

is now shut down.

It had about double the number of followers of the real Black Lives Matter page, which

was verified by Facebook.

The page was started in 2016 and was only exposed after a CNN investigation revealed

the person behind it.

Even after CNN revealed the page to be a scam, Facebook seemed to dismiss their findings

when confronted by the news channel, and took several days to take the page down.

The Daily Mail reports.

The most popular Black Lives Matter page on Facebook was a fake being run by a white man

from Australia, it has been revealed.

Ian Mackay, a National Union of Workers official in Australia, was forced to resign on Monday

after he was exposed and the page taken down.

With almost 700,000 followers, Mackay's page had double the interest of the official

Black Lives Matter presence and raised at least $100,000 in donations.

Users were told those donations were going to fight racial causes in America but at least

some of the money was paid into Australian bank accounts instead, an investigation by

CNN found.

The page, which used the URL facebook.com/blacklivesmatter1, was administered by a 'BP Parker and 'Steve

Parks', which were anonymous profiles both linked to domains owned by Mackay.

The page also raised money for their "cause" using sites like Paypal.

Those sites have since shut down the accounts collecting money.

Those administrators encouraged people to donate via Donorbox, PayPal, Patreon, and

Classy.

Sources told CNN that at least one account on those websites was tied to Mackay by name.

PayPal and Patreon suspended fundraising activities associated with the page after being contacted

by CNN, while Donorbox and Classy had already stopped collecting money by that point.

Followers were also sent links to other websites including blackpowerfist.com and blacklivesmatter.media,

both of which were registered to Mackay.

Who was K. L. Saigal? – Everything You Need to Know about Indian singer K. L. Saigal.

The very name K.L Saigal invokes a picture of a hotshot who managed the screens some

time before individuals knew about Amitabh Bachchan and Rajesh Khanna.

Relatively few know about the accomplishments of this awesome persona and his commitments

to the Hindi film industry.

K L Sehgal was without a doubt India's first genius whose allure and enchantment is as

yet alive and keeps on rousing maturing gifts. Conceived in Jammu on April eleventh, 1904

as Kundan Lal Saigal, he enlivened legends like Kishore Kumar and Mukesh to duplicate

his style to make their check in the business before building up their own particular mark

tones.

His tunes are evergreen and are murmured even today. To find out about the life history

of K L Saigal, read this memoir given underneath.

K.L Saigal began singing from an exceptionally youthful age and his mom used to take him

to Sufi-Pir Salman Yousuf of the Yesvi faction. His dad Amarchand Saigal was utilized at the

court of Maharaja Pratap Singh.

At twelve years old, K.L Saigal sang Meera Bhajan at the court of the ruler. The Maharaja

was extremely awed and favored him saying that he had a splendid future. His dad was

frustrated when he learnt that his child needed to sing and dropped out of school.

Whenever K.L. Saigal understood that his voice was breaking at 13 years old, he was shocked

to the point that he stayed quiet for quite a long time together. His stressed family

took him to a holy person who advised Saigal to refine his voice and not leave honing.

For a long time from there on he honed with assurance and furthermore got some assistance

from Faiyaaz Khan, Pankaj Mullick and Pahari Sanyal, who were the best artists of that

time.

Saigal likewise learnt to sing in Punjabi when he was in Jalandhar. The most amazing

thing is that he never got any formal preparing and developed his own particular style, which

was acknowledged and increased in value by all.

He died on 18th January 1947.

chairman Grassley chairman Thune ranking member Feinstein and ranking member

Nelson and members of the committee we faced a number of important issues

around privacy safety and democracy and you will rightfully have some hard

questions for me to answer before I talk about the steps we're taking to address

them I want to talk about how we got here

Facebook is an idealistic and optimistic company for most of our existence we

focused on all the good that connecting people can do and as Facebook has grown

people everywhere have gotten a powerful new tool for staying connected to the

people they love for making their voices heard and for building communities and

businesses just recently we've seen the me2 movement and the March for our lives

organized at least in part on Facebook after Hurricane Harvey people came

together to raise more than 20 million dollars for relief and more than 70

million busy small businesses use Facebook to create

jobs and grow but it's clear now that we didn't do enough to prevent these tools

from being used for harm as well and that goes for fake news for foreign

interference in elections and hate speech as well as developers and data

privacy we didn't take a broad enough view of our responsibilities and that

was a big mistake and it was my mistake and I'm sorry

I started Facebook I run it and I'm responsible for what happens here so now

we have to go through our all of our relationship with people and make sure

that we're taking a broad enough for you of our responsibilities it's not enough

to just connect people we have to make sure that those connections are positive

it's not enough to just give people a voice we need to make sure that people

aren't using it to harm other people or to spread misinformation and it's not

enough to just give people control over their information we need to make sure

that the developers they share it with protect their information - across the

board we have a responsibility to not just build tools but to make sure that

they're used for good it will take some time to work through

all the changes we need to make across the company but I'm committed to getting

this right this includes the basic responsibility of protecting people's

information which we failed to do with Cambridge analytical so here are a few

things that we are doing to address this and to prevent it from happening again

first we're getting to the bottom of exactly what Cambridge analytic I did

and telling everyone affected what we know now is that Cambridge analytic

improperly accessed some information about millions of Facebook members by

buying it from an app developer that information this was information that

people generally share publicly on their Facebook pages like names and their

profile picture and the pages they follow when we first contacted Cambridge

analytics they told us that they had deleted the data about a month ago we

heard new reports that suggested that wasn't true and now we're working with

governments in the u.s. the UK and around the world to do a full audit of

what they've done and to make sure they get rid of any data they may still have

second to make sure no other app developers out there are misusing data

we're now investigating every single app that had access to a large amount of

information in the past and if we find that someone improperly used data we're

gonna ban them from Facebook and tell everyone affected third to prevent this

from ever happening again going forward we're making sure that developers can

access as much information now the good news here is that we already made big

changes to our platform in 2014 that would have prevented this specific

situation from came with Cambridge analytic ah from occurring again today

but there's more to do and you can find more details on the steps we're taking

in my written statement my top priority has always been our social mission of

connecting people building community and bringing the world closer together

advertisers and developers will never take priority over that as long as I am

running Facebook I started Facebook when I was in college we've come a long way

since we now serve more than two billion

people around the world and everyday people use our services to stay

connected with the people that matter to them most I believe deeply in what we're

doing and I know that when we address these challenges we'll look back and

view helping people connect and giving more people a voice as a positive force

in the world I realized the issues we're talking about today aren't just issues

for Facebook in our community they're issues and challenges for all of us as

Americans thank you for having me here today and I'm ready to take your

questions

Manchester United star Paul Pogba was offered to Real Madrid as well as City this season - Duration: 2:39.

Manchester United star Paul Pogba was offered to Real Madrid as well as City this season — but Spanish club reckon they have 'dodged a bullet'

PAUL Pogba was offered to Real Madrid as well as Manchester City by his agent Mino Raiola as he struggled at Old Trafford in January — but the Spanish giants said NO.

According to reports, the European champions declined the opportunity to sign the 25-year-old — who they had wanted in 2016 before he joined United — and now feel like they've "dodged a bullet".

Raiolas offer to City to take his out-of-favour player across Manchester has been revealed by Pep Guardiola.

But the Frenchman stayed and then went on to score two crucial goals in United's incredible 3-2 Manchester derby win on Saturday.

And according to Sports Illustrated, the Los Blancos hierarchy believed signing the midfielder, who earns around £200,000-a-week at United, would throw the club's salary structure off kilter.

News of the attempts to get Pogba a move away from Old Trafford adds further weight tales of discontent between him and manager Jose Mourinho.

The Frenchman's form has been up and down this season, leading to problems with Manchester United's midfield struggling to impose itself on other teams.

And after the former Juventus man was left out of United's Champions League second leg tie with Sevilla — which they lost 2-0 — the writing looked on the wall.

Pogba may eventually thank Mourinho for giving him a wake-up call, especially if his recent upturn in form continues into the World Cup.

Meanwhile, another Frenchman said to be wanting out of Old Trafford is Anthony Martial.

According to reports in France the tricky winger has declined the club's offer of a new contract, citing a lack of first-team football.

United face rock-bottom West Brom on Sunday as they look to consolidate second place in the Premier League.

LeToya Luckett on Fiancé Tommi: "He Was Definitely Unexpected" | Book of John Gray | OWN - Duration: 1:36.

JOHN GRAY: We're looking at some people that are getting

ready to get married, huh? How you feel?

TOMMICUS: I feel real good, man.

LETOYA: He was definitely unexpected.

This definitely feels like a god moment for me

because John told me that I would meet a man

and be married by the end of the year.

And to now be standing next to my fiance, Tommi.

I'm like, Lord Jesus, he was right.

Y'all hear me.

JOHN GRAY: You over here wavy, breezy, giggling.

Y'all in love for real.

TOMMICUS: Oh yeah.

BARBARA: Look at them.

JOHN GRAY: And you are what we prayed for.

That God would give her the love that she deserved.

LETOYA: You said you are in the season to be a wife.

You are a wife.

So stop carrying yourself like a girlfriend.

He said, this one won't take long.

BARBARA: It was almost instantaneous.

JOHN GRAY: Yes, it was.

TOMMICUS: God sent me my angel, for sure in Latoya.

I'm definitely happy about it.

JOHN GRAY: Now that y'all engaged,

we can talk about the wedding.

LETOYA: Bro!

Like, we're going to do it soon.

We're thinking within the next couple of months.

I don't know how I'm going to do that with planning.

BARBARA: It can be done.

LETOYA: I'm so excited to build with him.

BARBARA: That's the thing when you're with.

LETOYA: This is what partnership looks like.

Anna Faris Was Rejected from Her Son's Potential School - Duration: 6:37.

Hi!

Well--

What's the matter?

Just, you know, in my everyday clothes.

Yes.

Uh.

You look fantastic.

Thanks.

Yeah.

You look great.

Thanks.

I'm happy to see you.

Not all my own hair.

So.

Really?

Yeah.

You can even feel it.

Is the top knot real?

Because that's the part that should be real.

Some of the top is--

it's trying to be real.

You know?

Yeah.

Oh!

Yeah.

Yeah.

Yep.

I see where it starts.

Yep.

Yep.

Yeah.

I get it.

I get it.

Uh-huh.

Wow.

But it looks, like, kind of sexy, right?

Yeah.

How long is your hair without the additions?

Uh.

Oh.

You know, down to here.

No.

It's not.

No.

That's not true.

[WHISPERS] Come on!

You're giving away all my secrets.

But it looks-- no, you just--

you opened it up!

I know!

I know.

You just said it wasn't your hair.

I just need you to like, you know, jump on the bandwagon.

Well.

[LAUGHTER] All right.

Well, you look good, anyway.

Thanks.

What else is not real on you?

[LAUGHTER]

Uh.

Well.

Oh god.

So many things.

I'm kidding.

I don't want to know if there was a a part of you that

aren't--

It would be a whole different segment.

Congratulations on "Mom" getting picked up again.

[APPLAUSE]

Thanks.

Thanks.

[APPLAUSE]

You and Allison are so great together.

I love Allison.

You know that.

But on a scale of 1 to 10.

Since she's won that Oscar, how difficult is she on the set?

Well.

I, um.

I do feel a little bit envious when you say that you love her.

Because it makes me feel like you love her more than

you love me.

No.

But--

No.

Not true.

No.

She's been really difficult, though.

Yeah.

I mean, she's lovely.

Yeah.

Of course.

And she deserves it.

Yeah.

More than anybody.

Not really.

Like she--

Not more than anybody.

No.

More than anybody.

She deserves it.

OK.

OK.

She deserves another award.

You seem angry when you say it.

You seem really angry.

No, she does deserve it.

She's fantastic.

I love her so much.

I love her so much, too.

And I love you so much, as well.

Thank you.

And I mean it.

I think you look great.

And I know it's been a very difficult year for you,

I can imagine.

I don't know.

But I'm happy to see that you're happy, and everything's good.

Thank you.

And how's Jack?

He's amazing.

And--

He's a cute little kid.

He is.

He's so happy and sweet, and he's surrounded by love.

And we're really happy.

I know.

It's gross, isn't it?

How cute he is.

Yeah.

Yeah.

I mean those glasses.

Yeah.

Like some day, he probably won't need to wear them any more.

But I will still be like, put those glasses on!

But he's been wearing those glasses since I knew him.

Since he was like two years old.

Yeah.

Yeah.

They're adorable.

They are adorable.

Like.

Ugh.

And what is he doing there in that little--

I built him in nest.

So he sleeps-- that's where he sleeps.

Uh-huh.

Good.

All right.

Now, is he in school?

He's almost in school.

And we went through the process of applying, like, for schools.

Which is very new to me.

I grew up in, you know, Washington state,

with public schools.

So the whole LA school process has been terrifying.

And I went to this private school

where they had all the parents sit around in a circle.

And I don't know anybody.

And there's a bunch of toys in the middle of the circle.

And we were supposed to pick a toy out, and talk

about the weather.

That was the only instruction.

So, I thought, well, this must be like,

you know, this is like a group therapy session.

I guess.

So I said, you know, I have to go first.

I picked up a Teddy bear, and I was like, I have to go first.

Because if I don't, then I'm going

to be not thinking about or listening

to what anybody saying.

And just, whatever.

And I started to go on this monologue about how nervous I

was about this whole process.

And I'm nervous about like, what if we get rejected.

And like what if my kid doesn't wear the right thing?

And what if I have to do my kid's homework?

Like, what's your homework policy?

Because I don't want to do homework!

I don't know how to do homework, as you can tell.

[LAUGHTER]

And.

So eventually, after my like--

and I'm realizing, as I'm saying this, like, I

am putting my foot in my mouth.

So I passed the bear on to the next person.

And she was like, well, it's pretty sunny outside for me.

[LAUGHTER]

And she passed it to the next person, who said something

like, well, might rain soon.

And I was like, oh my god.

In general, I have no idea what I'm doing.

That has been confirmed in this moment, right now.

And I wanted to run out of there so fast.

Anyway.

We got rejected.

[LAUGHTER AND APPLAUSE]

Thanks.

Thanks for making me feel better about it!

I could've told you that about two minutes ago.

Oh!

Oh!

What?

So let's talk about Overboard.

So it's a remake of the Goldie Hawn.

You looked so much like Goldie, too.

I can imag-- I can see why they went right to you,

to ask you to do that.

All it takes is a little bleach.

Were you a fan of the original?

Oh my god.

Yes.

Yeah, I've watched that movie, I want to say like 4,000 times.

But it might be around 80 to 90.

But I was really nervous about remaking it.

Yeah.

Because I felt like such big shoes to fill.

But I'm really honored to be a part of it.

I love-- Eugenio Derbez is just incredible.

So.

Yeah.

It was really-- I did have to go into that water.

Yeah.

I'm not going to lie about that part.

Yeah.

I did it myself.

But that was not really you when he pushed you.

No.

It was me.

No.

I feel like you exaggerate.

That's all I'm going to say.

Oh.

Yeah.

What is this?

You-- I'm a guest on your show, and you accuse me

of exaggerating?

No!

What kind of a host are you?

I'm a horrible host.

I'm a horrible host.

I also never gave you that sippy cup back that I have of yours.

I still have Jack's sippy cup at the house.

I think I've thrown it away by now.

I'm so sorry.

Oh.

Yeah.

It was important memorabilia

I know.

You didn't save it.

You didn't come back for it.

Oh, what a jerk you are, Ellen.

I love you.

"Overboard" is in theaters everywhere on May 4.

Alles, was wir teilen - Sindelfingen Edition - Duration: 3:12.

It's easy to put people in boxes.

There's always us und the others.

There are those, who like trends.

Those, who always wear sport pants.

Those, who were able to save themselves.

Those, who wear suits and blazers every day.

And those, who want to save people.

Those, who whisper emotions in our ears.

And those, who show them to us.

There are those, we share something with.

And those, we have nothing in common with.

I would like to welcome all of you.

I will ask you some questions now and I would like to ask you to answer them honestly.

Who here is the class clown?

Who is scared of the dentist?

And suddenly there is us.

We - who are always late.

We - who don't like maths.

We - who are good at school.

We - who have grown up multilingual.

We - who believe in god.

We - who are in love right now.

We - who had an argument with our parents this week.

We - who believe in life after death.

We - who have been bullied.

And we - who have bullied others.

We - who feel lonely sometimes.

We - who have lost a parent.

We - who believe in the supernatural.

We - who believe in love at first sight.

We - who do voluntary work.

And all of us - who love Sindelfingen.

Who Was Frida Kahlo? - Duration: 4:28.

if I ask you which artist wasn't afraid of tackling social issues, sexual identity,

political activism, and nonconformity you would probably think I

was talking about a current artist right?

Well, you would be wrong!

I'm talking about the one and only Frida Kahlo.

Don't believe me, I bet I can change your mind!

Watch this!

This episode is funded by the Glick Fund

and the Christel DeHaan Family Foundation

Frida Kahlo was born in Coyoacan, Mexico in 1907 in La Casa Azul a tiny blue

house where she lived most of her life.

By the time Frida hit age six she

contracted polio which, caused her to be bedridden for over nine months!

But, that didn't stop her! In school Frida was known to be very

outspoken and brave.

Her dad was by far her biggest champion

and encouraged her to play soccer, swim, and even wrestle!

Of course, at the time

girls were not known to play sports, let alone wrestled

It was about this time

that she saw this guy, Diego Rivera, painting a mural in their school.

Frida who was a bit younger than him, like 20 years younger, told a friend

I'm gonna marry him!

Life went on, and in 1922 a bus Frida was riding in collided with a

streetcar and she was seriously injured.

A handrail impaled her hip, and her spine

and pelvis were fractured.

I can't even imagine the pain she was in.

The accident left her in a full body cast for three months.

To kill the time her parents

bought her paints and built her an easel she could use in bed.

In 1928 that same

man from years earlier, Diego Rivera, discovers Frida and her paintings and is

super impressed.

They were married a year later.

Their marriage wasn't exactly

average, and they were often referred to as the elephant and the dove, which seems pretty accurate.

Both had several affairs one of which

Diego had with Frida sister, so needless to say it was complicated.

Frida often traveled

with Diego as he was commissioned for murals throughout the US.

Frida was often seen in New York with her signature bright, gold, beautiful

clothing, which celebrated her culture.

Soon after Diego gets himself into a

dispute with the Rockefellers over this mural, and they head back to Mexico.

In 1939 Frida heads to Paris where she gets to meet artists such as Joan Miro and

Pablo Picasso who loved her work!

In fact, the Louvre bought one of Frida Spain

teas the first ever from a Mexican artist!

Unfortunately, Frida's health continued to deteriorate, a story told through this painting

called The Broken Column.

Finished in 1944, this gives you not only a

glimpse into the health struggles she had, but also the incredible artistic skill

she possessed.

Frida definitely used art to express all the physical challenges

she faced, which was incredibly brave.

But, it doesn't stop there. In 1950 she got

gangrene in her right foot and was bedridden for nine months, and eventually

had to have part of her leg amputated!

However, she still kept creating and

staying politically active.

In fact, in1953 she had a solo exhibit and on the

opening day she and her bed delivered to the gallery and had to arrive via ambulance!

That is determination!

Unfortunately, soon after on July 13 1954

Frida passed away just before her 47th birthday.

I'm not sure which part of

Frida's story is more powerful; her struggle and ability to keep working

despite her health, or the work itself?

Frida's fame has grown since her death

especially in the 70s during the feminist movement as she was admired as

an icon a female creativity.

Let's face it she makes Wonder Woman look like a joke.

By the way, the film Frida that was released in 2002 was incredible you

should definitely check it out!
