I'm Clarice.
I've been modeling since I was three years old and
I see modeling now as something that is an outlet.
When I was younger, I was being sexually harassed a lot
it's something that not a lot of people know, actually
but I feel like
this is a perfect opportunity to speak up about it
because I know a lot of people have experienced it
and are probably experiencing it now.
What that man or that woman, like, is doing to you or did you, that's not normal.
Like I swear, there are people who are not gonna listen and sometimes it's gonna come
from your own family
or someone very close to you, but that's okay
because you know what, at the end of the day all you have is yourself
and I swear to God.
You stop thinking negati...
negatively about yourself because you're not wrong.
Like, they're the ones that's wrong.
Okay?
Like, this society is just messed up.
I swear to God.
I have clinical depression kasi.
Like, it's something I don't tell people, but I do.
Yeah.
and every day is like…
like, something different, I guess?
Kasi I never really know what to...
like, I never really know what's gonna happen.
You don't know when it's gonna hit.
Oh yeah.
That's the thing with depression, you don't know when it's gonna happen.
Yeah.
I've been suffering from clinical depression since I was 15 or 16
but recently I've been recovering from my depression.
I tried to kill myself so much
and every single day, it's a struggle for me
but at the end of the day
suicide is not the answer.
There are a lot of people who love you and I know this is very generic
but I just wanna let you all know that you are so strong
and if you ever want to take your life
please do not.
I just wanna let you know that you're not alone.
I swear.
Taking your life is not an option right now.
Hi, I'm Rayana Eissa.
I'm 18 years old.
I had, like, a very tough childhood and
I was raised with my mom without my dad.
I get jealous with, like, people has like, a complete family
every time I see airplanes I...
always wish it was my dad and he will go home na and...
I miss him so much and I really do love him even though...
it doesn't feel...
it doesn't feel the same and...
Growing up, I was bullied.
As I grow up, I had this idea that I had to be perfect
in everything that I do
and it brought me so much pressure.
I'm really just glad that there are people who understands me and enjoys my company even...
it's really hard for me to open up about my mental health.
Mom...
I know that sometimes you are, like, so close to giving up on me...
please know that I'm trying and I'm doing this not just for myself.
The most challenging part of me is like, when I had, like, this...
In some panic attacks
Clarice: Oh, yeah. Rayana: Especially like, in school
and I just couldn't explain, I feel like I'm just dying.
Like, if that happens, like, sometimes it happens like every single day, even in public.
I just want to understand ano ba talaga mali sakin
like, I never think of myself
like, I'm the kind person.
Clarice: It's not your fault. Like honest... it's not. Rayana: Yeah, it's not my fault. Yeah.
You see, mental illness, it's something serious, eh.
Yeah.
it's surrounding yourself with the right people
and at the end of the day, even if you don't have the right people, you have yourself.
I think what you should do is you need to speak up and get help.
Clarice: Dude, we got this, seryoso. Rayana: Yeah.
Like I swear, I'm always...
if you need, like, if your panic attack hits, wake me up.
So like, since you mentioned that you're still struggling
I'm always here.
Clarice: Yeah, same. I'm always here for you too as well. Rayana: Yeah.
You know, I could be just around you or para I can warn the others
like, "Don't go to... don't talk to Rayana first because she needs space. She needs that."
but I'm not gonna tell them anything that you told me.
Okay.
Hey guys!
Hey guys!
Good morning!
How are you all?
Hope you don't mind us getting a little comfortable with you guys.
Yeah, we're just gonna join you guys.
As you all know, Kyle and I are actually the winners of the first ever SM Youth Go-See
and it's so different now.
As we would always tell you guys that Kyle and I, plus the other
contestants that we were with during the first season, we're still very close so
the essence of being a family is still there, up to this day.
Back when we were competing, I had my best friend at the time, Justin
Kaila: Yeah. Kyle: He was competing in the...
Kyle: You remember Justin? Kaila: Yeah, I remember Justin.
All our shenanigans.
We were always pranking people
it's, you know, it's nice to... it like, keeps it light.
In my experience, I didn't know anybody.
I did not know anyone!
But I mean, I was super shy.
One of my favorite memories
actually, most of my favorite memories from being on the show was really just
bonding with everybody and like, being in the holding area talking to everyone and
we really... we created, like, such a strong bond
and now, for you guys, since you guys are first ever season that really gets to
live with each other, we can just imagine the bond that you guys have.
So, it's been about two years now.
Yeah.
It's great, I love this competition because it really...
Yeah, it really molded us.
Kyle: Put you in the spotlight helps you grow and shine Kaila: Yeah.
that's the best thing also about, you know, being around people who would
support you is that you can all build each other up.
Yeah, and that's what SM Youth is.
I mean, SM Youth is a family and we want you guys to experience that and I'm sure
you guys have already experienced that during this competition.
Speaking of family, the question that we wanna ask
each of you guys is
"Who is the hero in your life?"
So I'm gonna start with the hero in my life, it's my mom.
I live with my mom. My parents are separated.
So my siblings and my mom, we all live with each other
she pretty much raised us on her own.
I would say, up to this day, she's still the hero in my life
because she inspires me to become a strong and independent woman as well.
So, what about you, Kyle?
For me? I guess my hero would have to be my dad.
He served in the military for about 21 years.
Sometimes, he would be gone for six or eight months at a time
but he still always, you know, supported our family and always had our best interest in mind.
Yeah.
Kaila: Yeah! Kyle: Dad's my hero.
Alright, it's time to ask you guys.
Jaime, you're beside me so you go first.
I guess my superhero would be my mom.
She made so much sacrifices for me and my two other brothers
that sacrifice really made me the person who I am today
and I'm really grateful for that.
Alright!
Sabrina?
Well me, my daddy.
He's an OFW and I don't really see him that much.
I really do love him and I know that
he's really proud of me.
That's so great!
Alright!
Latrisha?
I can actually relate to Sabrina 'cause my hero is my dad
and he works abroad.
And I really see that he sacrificed a lot for us, so I see him as a hero.
That's great! Karla?
For me my hero would be my mom.
I live in a family of three.
It's me, my mom, my dad.
My mom, she's our anchor, you know?
She keeps us level-headed, she keeps us responsible.
My mom's my hero.
Alright. Clarice, what about you?
My hero? Probably both my parents.
Growing up as an only child
I didn't really have anyone to talk to that much.
It was practically my mom, dad, and I.
Alright, great! Nico, what about you?
I think my hero would be my Nonno which is an Italian grandfather.
He passed away when I was...
when I was 11 years old, but I was named after him. His name was Nicola.
The reason why he's my hero is 'cause he taught me the value of hard work.
He was the most hard-working man I've ever met.
Rayana, what about you?
Yeah, probably my mom as well because for me like, she's like
the kindest person I've ever known in my life
and she always inspires me every day.
I never told her that but
she's like, my number one inspiration and…
Okay Mark, what about you?
Well, my hero would be my dad, although I'm very close
with my mom as well but I just see my
dad as my best friend.
We usually have these moments where we
talk inside the car where I'd sit beside him in the passenger seat.
It's just nice to have a dad like, you treat him as a friend.
Kyle: Nice relationship you guys have. Kaila: That's great. Yeah.
Alright.
Julian, what about you?
Who's your hero?
Probably my mom.
She put so much effort into making sure that we are appreciated
and me, she knows, we know what she loves us
and everything like that.
I don't know, I appreciate actually my whole family so yeah.
So that seems like you got the whole squad, man!
The whole team!
Alright, last but not the least, Stephanie, who's your hero?
I have to say my mom.
She's my best friend and I love her so much because she
supports me in every single thing that I do.
She never once tried to steer me in a direction...
I don't think I'd be the person I was today without her so, yeah.
Alright, thank you everybody for sharing, but unfortunately we have to cut
it short now because you guys have to get ready for your next challenge
so we're gonna leave you guys to get ready
Gising na!
Wake up! yeah!
Good luck everybody, see you later!
Contestants: Bye! Kyle: Bye guys!
Guys...
I still feel bad that Rufino and Gynie had to leave.
Rufino is a good friend of ours. Yeah.
Gynie taught me Tagalog, too. Who's gonna teach me now?
Yeah, so we might, like, be wearing like, shirts and stuff.
Superheroes?
Like a superhero theme, yeah.
What is your favorite episode so far?
Sabrina: Cove? Stephanie: Dessert! Gotta be Dessert.
I liked the Cove...
That was fun, yeah.
That was brutal!
It was a great challenge.
What about the mannequin challenge?
That was the most stressful one, I think. The group challenge?
Yeah.
I was so stressed!
Rayana messed up!
Yeah, we all messed up! And we're so... I'm so sorry!
Hey, everyone! So are you ready for your next challenge?
Alright!
Alright, well, if you remember our hangout earlier, we were talking about heroes.
Well, they so happen to be part of your next challenge.
The amazing partnership between the Walt Disney Company and SM Youth over the years
has given young people across the country the courage to become heroes themselves in their own ways.
Yes, And Marvel heroes don't fight alone.
They assemble to form stronger alliances.
Marvel shows us that when we connect, our powers multiply.
And as you all know, the much-anticipated blockbuster movie of the year
Avengers: Infinity War, is finally showing in cinemas nationwide.
With that being said, you guys are going to get to model
the newest SM Youth Avengers: Infinity War shirts
and get to portray the different Marvel Super Heroes in the film.
Are you guys ready to find out who you're gonna be?
Yeah!
That's great!
Jaime, you shall be Captain America.
Julian, you shall be Spider-Man.
Mark, you shall be Doctor Strange.
Nico, you will be the Hulk.
You better do it right. The Hulk's my favorite, I'm just saying!
And for the girls
Clarice, you will be Black Panther.
Rayana, you will be Falcon.
Karla, you will be Thor.
Sabrina, you will be Hawkeye.
Latrisha, you will be Winter Soldier.
And Stephanie, you will be Iron Man.
Today's challenge is about embodying the Marvel Super Hero assigned to you through your poses.
Now, this isn't any ordinary photo shoot because you guys will be shooting
in this 360 light paint booth!
Now we have Bjorn here to tell us more about the challenge.
Okay guys, so for today's challenge, there will actually be multiple cameras around you
simultaneously shooting you in all angles
to get that perfect 360 dynamic portrait shots for our Avengers: Infinity War campaign.
So you guys need to hold your pose while we perfectly paint the
perfect light effect to get your characters perfectly.
And for this shoot, I will give you guys ten takes each.
Make sure you ace all ten takes
but keep in mind the Marvel Super Hero that you'll be portraying.
With that being said, let's begin the challenge.
Good luck, guys!
Alright, so Jaime, you'll be Captain America.
So make sure you give us the energy.
Make sure your face is a bit tilted up.
So, first take, let's go.
Ready? 3, 2, 1, and... hold your pose!
I am Jaime Borromeo.
I mean, I enjoyed 'cause I love Marvel.
I love Super Heroes especially with Captain America, which I played earlier in the challenge.
You have to take into consideration that you're being captured in all angles
so give me the perfect shot for your jawline.
Early in the booth, it looked really nice,
and I can't wait to see the outputs later.
Siguro ano, you can put your left foot backwards.
3, 2, 1, and hold.
Okay, that's good.
Alright. Okay, good job, Jaime.
You're done for the day.
Alright, so Clarice, you'll be Black Panther.
You need to give me... you're flexible, you know?
You're strong, you're fast.
Give me that. That energy.
Okay, let's do first take.
Standby, and hold.
I'm Clarice. I'm 21 years old
and actually, super, I love this challenge so much because it's Marvel.
Better, kasi when you go too low, medyo nalo-lose ka namin eh.
O sige, next pose. Ready, and go.
Although I had a hard time because it's Black Panther
and I really needed to be flexible.
Okay, let's try something else. Give me another pose for your next take.
Okay ready, take five.
Just relax your eyes a little, Clarice.
Last take for Clarice.
Bjorn told me to be less intense with my eyes
but overall, his comments naman, I think, were good.
Alright. Good job, Clarice. You're done.
So, Julian, make sure you give me Spider-Man.
Very flexible character, you know?
And make sure you do the hand movement of Spider-Man.
Give us your first pose.
Okay and go.
I'm Julian Rodriguez and I'm 17.
The challenge was super fun. I actually enjoyed it 'cause
ever since I was younger, I used to really, like, keep up with the Marvel movies
and the comics and all that.
Good first take, Julian.
Give me more energy in your eyes.
It was a bit hard 'cause like, you can't really see the camera
so making sure that you did the right pose and
making sure you were doing the right angles and everything else
was a bit hard, but after a couple of shots, I got used to it.
Nice. Okay, it's good, Julian.
And last pose.
I'm not sure if I did alright, but I think I did alright
but I don't wanna say anything until I see the actual photos.
Yeah, I feel like I'm improving compared to my other challenges that I did.
Okay. Good job, good job.
Okay. So Mark, you're gonna be Doctor Strange
so give me all those hand movements that he did during his solo film
and make sure you give that energy, okay?
So let's do frame one, ready and, go!
Hi I'm Mark Derayunan and the challenge was somehow exciting
and at same time hard 'cause I find it difficult at first to keep still.
Hold your pose, Mark? Hold.
Okay, that's good.
Towards to the end, I started to get the hang of it
and I think I'm confident with what I did. Bjorn told me that if I could separate my hands
and give space to the shirt so I could give emphasis to the shirt.
Alright. Good job, Mark!
Rayana, you'll be Falcon.
So you remember, Falcon was a soldier before?
Then make sure you give me that energy. So what's your game plan for today?
To give my all for now, and hope for the best.
Okay ready. And, take one.
Hi my name is Rayana Eissa, I'm 18 years old and I'm assigned to do Falcon.
So at first I was a little bit nervous because
I don't have much background about Falcon.
It's a bit challenging for me because my pose is pretty limited.
Relax lang a bit your face kasi it looks angry na, a bit.
For the like, the last five shots like, I tried to redeem myself because I have troubles, like in my facial features
because sometimes it gets pretty, like, too intimidating
Good job, Rayana.
That's it?
So Karla, remember, you're Thor.
You're a god, so I need to feel that strength that you're a god.
Thor's the god of thunder, right? I wanna be like, fierce and ang...
Bjorn: But make sure you can control your expressions. Karla: Yeah.
I'm Karla O'Hara. I'm 21 years old.
And today, I was Thor!
And I thought it was really cool 'cause he's a good character
you know, he's a god.
That's good. Good take.
Bjorn told me to use a my jaw line more
'cause that was my strength.
Nice! That's good.
Good job on your second take, Karla. I like it!
I think I did my best. I did a good job but
hopefully the judges could see that in panel.
Good job!
Those were alright?
Yeah.
Nico, today you're gonna be Hulk.
I need to feel power. A bit angry, but still fashion.
Okay, so what's your game plan? Tell me.
To give just like, fierce looking powerful
but I still wanna, I like you said, make sure my face isn't pangit.
Okay, let's see your first take.
Ako po si Nico. 21 years old.
I really like this challenge.
The most challenging part of the challenge was trying to fully embody your character
so my character is Hulk
so just like trying to be really fierce, angry
while keeping that gwapo face.
Nice! That's good. Good take, Nico.
it was nice having Bjorn kind of coaching me through it
telling me to how to give more expression and make my pose a bit stronger, more powerful.
For your next take, can you try saying "Ahh"?
[Growling sounds]
Now this is the most "Hulk" shot so far from you. Alright, good job.
Thank you, Nico!
So for you Sab, you're Hawkeye.
Your weapon is your bow and arrow.
You can do some options with that.
Okay, let's do your first pose.
Hi I'm Sabrina, I'm 20.
In today's episode, what we have to do is to portray a Marvel character
and mine si Hawkeye.
I need more intensity in your eyes.
and I guess I had a hard time doing it because
yeah I've watched... I've seen Avengers. But the thing is Hawkeye is a guy, so that's a bit challenging for me.
So take 10.
Well, I think I did okay.
I think may shots naman ako.
Sana!
Alright! good job! That's good, Sabrina.
Okay. So Latrisha, you'll be Winter Soldier.
I need to feel na you know, you're a very serious person.
What's your game plan?
I want to focus like, a more fierce look. I have to like forget about like, my own personality.
Okay, let's see your first pose.
Hi, I'm Latrisha Tallent, 17 years old.
Today's challenge was about portraying a character while doing a 360 photoshoot.
I actually think I enjoyed a lot in this photo shoot because it's not something
we should... we used to do in the different challenges.
Latrisha, this is so good.
For me, it was really difficult to portray like, the character of Winter Soldier
because it had like a laid-back pose
at the same time there should be like, intensity in the eyes
so I have to forget about my personality and like, pretend like I am Winter Soldier.
Nice. That's good, Latrisha! Okay, last pose.
I tried to like, study the poses of Winter Soldier and like, put into act the character
so I could like, portray it during the photo shoot.
Alright. Good job, Latrisha!
Stephanie, you'll be Tony Stark for today.
I wanna feel that power.
Okay, so what's our game plan?
I'm focusing on really strong poses and a really confident face.
Okay ready. first pose, hold.
Hi! I'm Stephanie Aquino and I'm 19 years old
and I was personally really excited 'cause I'm a huge Marvel fan
Stephanie, you're doing really good! Good job.
Yeah, I was a little bit worried about holding the pose for so long
because I was worried my eyes would look a bit flimsy
Okay, last frame.
I think I tried to encapsulate the Iron Man character
and I think I did an alright job, so hopefully the photo turns out the way I hope it does.
Alright you're done for the day. Thank you so much!
It's a wrap!
Alright guys, that's a wrap!
We'll see you guys later for the deliberation
where only nine of you will be making it to the next round.
So this morning, we were hanging out in the boys room
and suddenly, Kaila and Kyle entered the room
and to be honest, nagulat ako kasi
they were really open. Like, they shared your stories, their journey.
When they asked us about who is our personal hero
and then when it was my turn, oh my god
"How do I say it?" na parang, I don't even wanna cry.
I was assigned as Captain America.
Knowing that I'm a student leader, I felt that I had the traits as Captain America.
Being that captain out there, it kinda gave me the confidence to play the character.
So today, for the challenge, I portrayed Iron Man, and I was really really happy with that character.
He's a very popular character and there was a lot of different, like, varieties and poses I could do.
I think I related to the character in that
he's always trying to better himself and he's always trying to better the brand that he's created
and I think that in that way, I do relate
and that I'm always constantly trying to better myself and learn new things.
I really feel like, you know, I've met some really nice people, you know?
Tropa!
It's really sad to think that one of these friends of mine, one of my kaibigan, will go home tonight.
Mixed emotions, I think, is the feelings I get every time I step into that deliberation room.
Good evening, guys! How are you all?
Good. Great. Pretty well.
Good to hear.
As you all can see, someone is back from his trips abroad!
Let's give a warm welcome to Richard!
Thank you so much, Tommy!
Well, it's so great to finally meet you all.
For today's challenge, you guys were tasked to do a dynamic 360 campaign shoot
wearing our newest SM Youth Avengers: infinity Wars collection.
Before we begin our deliberation, we would like to welcome
the Creative Manager of The Walt Disney Company, Philippines
Kenneth Lagodlod.
Hi guys!
We will also be joined by top international model and ambassador
who has graced countless campaigns for SM Men
Hideo Muraoka.
Nice to meet you, guys!
The winners of the SM Youth Go-See will become official brand ambassadors of SM Youth this 2018
you will join the family for all upcoming shows and events
and will star in different look books and a campaign that will be featured in all SM stores nationwide.
The winners will also receive 30,000 Pesos worth of SM Youth clothing.
With all that said, let's proceed with the deliberations.
First up could we have Jaime come to the front.
Hi guys! Good evening.
How are you feeling, man?
I'm feeling okay. I'm pretty confident with my shots.
Who was your character?
Captain America.
Let's see the shots?
Kyle: Are you a fan of Captain America? Jaime: Yeah, I am.
Okay, that's good. So let's see!
Nice!
Kaila: That's cool! That is so cool! Kyle: That light paint is on point as well.
What was your mindset for this?
Earlier I got advice from Bjorn like
I had to have that mindset where I'm going into war like Captain America
I think it's a successful shot 'cause as we all know, Captain America is so focused
he's a gentleman at the same time, so I think you can show it.
Just for an improvement, I think you can be like, be committed to
the action pose next time just to push it more.
But nonetheless, it's really a good job.
Thank you.
Cool! Well thanks Jaime.
Thank you!
Alright. Let's have Clarice, please?
Hi Clarice!
How do you think you did today?
I'm not very confident with my photos
because Black Panther is masculine and obviously it's kind of my opposite, I guess?
So definitely this is something out of my comfort zone.
Okay.
Let's view the photo.
I like how you utilized your claws.
Are these claws?
I can sense that you were a bit unsure with this pose.
Oh um, because Bjorn's comment was if I crouch too much, I look short
Kaila: Okay. Clarice: So I had to...
Kaila: So you're kind of caught in an awkward position. Clarice: I had to... Yes, exactly.
Did you have a hard time choosing your options?
Out of the 10 shots, did you have a hard time? Was this the one that stands out? Or...
Yeah, kind of, actually. Because I just... I wanted to emphasize the logo of the shirt as well
and also the stand. I didn't want it to look like too awkward. That's why I chose that photo.
Well the hands definitely scream Panther.
Kudos job, it's a hard work.
You know, Black Panther is a guy you know, but at the same time, you have all the goods
you have an edgy hairstyle, you have a nice face
I think you can
Kenneth: Push it a little bit more to make it fiercer. Clarice: Right.
You know, I feel like you could have pushed a lot more. Like, you could have looked more fierce
you could have looked more... quote-unquote "angas"
Richard: Like, I think that's just something that was Clarice: Right.
Richard: lacking in this photo. Clarice: Right.
Yeah.
Thank you!
Alright, thank you!
Next up, could we have Julian?
Good evening, guys.
How are you thinking you did, man?
I think I did all right. I actually enjoyed the shoot
especially when I found out we were doing like, a Marvel themed shoot, I got really excited.
Julian: I enjoyed it. Kaila: Yeah, are you a Marvel fan?
Yeah, actually. Like, I've been following it since I was younger so...
I'll go say who's his character first
Richard: Ask who's his favorite character first, and then... Kyle: And then who's his favorite character is then.
Okay.
It actually works out. It's like, I got Spider-Man and I really like Spider-Man so...
Tommy: You got Spider-Man? Julian: Yeah.
Awesome! Perfect!
Okay, let's view the shot!
I'm not so sure about the hands.
Yeah.
It's not... it doesn't seem very Spider-Man for me.
'Cause I tried to do the new Spider-Man.
But I understand why you did that, 'cause he climbs the walls, right?
Yeah.
But even then, it doesn't feel like it's climbing a wall
it looks like it's like you're going to attack, you're going to fight
which is what we want for the shot, right?
It would be an action shot.
Yeah.
Tommy: But it doesn't scream Spider-Man, you know? Richard: Yes, exactly.
Like, he's always like, very agile.
I'm a little confused on the claws, that's all.
Yes.
You already have the look of the young Spider-Man but it's
it's the body language that doesn't scream Spider-Man, you know?
Alright. Thank you, Julian!
Thank you so much!
Thank you!
Next, can we please have Rayana?
Hello.
How do you think you did?
Well, I was a little bit unsure with my expression because
it's either I get like, too much, or like, too little so I had to balance it out.
Kyle: Who was your character? Falcon. Rayana: Falcon. Yeah.
Did you have a hard time choosing?
No. I feel like every...
everything is just, like, the same, so I just don't want to stress out.
Tommy: Which it was! Kenneth: I think it's smart.
You know? Again, she's like, looking out
she's in the middle of the war and she's gonna...
you're gonna look out for anything else before you fly.
The photo itself says a lot, you know? It looks like you are going to war, it looks like something's happening
there's a lot going on in your mind.
Well I guess, the beauty of this is that Falcon is not such a main character like Spider-Man
who has a signature thing and
Tommy: Yeah Richard: Falcon doesn't have a signature move
which is why you were able to play around with it.
Very well!
Alright, thanks Rayana!
Thanks guys!
Next, can we please have Mark?
Hey everyone!
Hi Mark! So what was your character?
Doctor Strange.
How do you think you did?
Well, I think I did great 'cause I was very happy and excited while the shoot was going on
'cause I was always impressed by how Doctor Strange moves with his hands and
all the lights that complimented it.
It's almost like this is perfect for Doctor Strange.
Richard: Actually, yeah. Tommy: With the lights and all that.
So, you were super excited and happy, so hopefully
Tommy: That translates into the photos. Mark: I hope so.
Wow!
Kaila: That's a really cool photo! Tommy: Oh, and when they did it with the lights!
That... Okay, that's perfect.
It's a good one.
I really like it 'cause again, there are characters that needs like, dynamic poses
but for you, you just need to be elegant and with the expression, like with gestures with your hands
and I think you really did a great job.
Yeah, if anyone was gonna do it, they would have pulled out the pose
Yeah.
But your face captures exactly what is on the poster and...
It works together.
Yeah. Your face really captured the whole mystic vibe.
Which is good, 'cause it shows that he was in the correct character in his mind.
Exactly. Yeah.
A+, man.
I like this shot.
And as you said, I think it's a very important aspect, what you are doing.
The energy that you are feeling in the moment, it also goes in the picture.
so it's a nice shot, good job.
Alright. Thank you, Mark!
Thank you so much, guys!
Next, can we please have Karla?
Hi!
Richard: Hi Karla! Karla: Hi.
So what was your character?
I was Thor.
Thor!
A woman Thor!
Karla: Yeah! Tommy: A female Thor!
There is one too, yeah!
Alright, let's see the shot.
Ooh!
This is part you Thor too, isn't it?
That's a powerful shot.
I have to say, that's a really powerful shot.
Mighty Karla.
Yeah like, you can feel the...
Now what's happening with the left and right? So the hammer's in which hand, and the lightning is in which?
The hammer's in this hand, and I was like, going for the heavens
Tommy: Lightning, yeah. Karla: Yeah.
I can actually think of a different pose for Thor so...
Besides that... besides just raising the hammer
you did good. Like, you did more than just the hammer.
Thank you.
It's a wonderful shot.
Karla: Thank you so much. Kenneth: Again, you are one mighty Karla.
Thank you.
Good job.
Pretty good.
I like the shot. I like the expression, it's very strong
It's nice.
We're good. Thank you Karla!
Thank you, guys!
Thank you.
Could we please have Nico next?
Hello mga kaibigan.
Hello. Hi!
Who was your character today?
I was Hulk today.
Awesome.
How do you think you did?
I think I did good. I really enjoyed it. As I kept going like each take
I started to just get like, more into the character
so I actually started, like, growling and screaming.
With the kuya inside the booth there, I started just like going at him
like, kind of bumping my chest with them and I think I scared him a bit but...
That's good! The Hulk should be scary
That's right! Yeah, so I hope I was in character, yeah.
Cool.
Tommy: It's like the laughing technique. Kaila: Alright.
Oh wow!
Furious!
That's the Hulk.
You look furious, man.
Looks great. Yeah.
Did you have a hard time choosing between your shots?
Not really, no. Like, I kind of went with safe and crazy.
I think Hulk is one of the easiest character 'cause again, he has like, full of character in him
but without the commitment like this, I don't think na you'll get something like this
so you did a great great job.
Salamat.
So what, to get the shot, you said you were like, growling.
Kaila: Can you do that for us? Yeah. Kyle: Can you reenact that?
Yeah like, so I was kind of like...
[Growling noises]
and then when it was done, I stared at the kuya that was there, and I was like
[More growling noises]
It helps, though! I mean like, during our shoots, we always like, make those noises
'cause it actually helps makes it more authentic, looks real.
So yeah, it helps. And it shows, too.
Yeah! Okay, thanks Nico!
Alright, thanks Nico!
Maraming salamat!
Next, can we please have Sabrina?
Hi!
Hello, Sabrina!
So what was your character?
Mine was Hawkeye. So, a guy.
And I had to do the arrow thing because that's what he only does, right?
I tried to look for another hero who's a girl who has the same stuff
Sabrina: That what they did. Kaila: The same weapon?
Yeah! Yeah. That's it, the same weapon.
Bow and arrow.
So I guess, yeah, that's how it turned out.
Okay.
I actually really like it.
Thank you!
I'm looking at the intensity in your eyes and was really...
Yeah, I really had a hard time because it was dark.
I like everything.
Thank you!
I see you in person, you're so chic, you're so cute, but at the same time you can do something like this
very edgy, very fierce, and very focused.
Great job!
The stance is strong. It looks like she's not just holding a pose
it looks like she's actually pulling back, you know, holding her way...
Have you ever fired a bow and arrow before?
I haven't, that's the thing!
Like, that was the challenge, but you did a great job.
Thank you.
Alright, thank you Sabrina!
Thank you!
Alright Latrisha, can you please step forward?
Hi!
Who was your character?
I portrayed Winter Soldier.
Winter Soldier.
And how do you think you did?
I think I did pretty well since like, I need to portray a character that's far for my personality
and enjoyed doing this challenge for me.
Okay.
Yeah.
Are you fan of the Marvel movies?
Actually yeah. I'm not familiar with all the characters
especially the character I'm portraying, so what I did is I did kind of research and
asked from like, a fan, and Bjorn about the character.
Okay. Great!
Alright, let's see it!
So talk us through this. Like, what were you thinking when you're shooting?
I wanted to portray, like, a pose that shows like powerful but not that too much effort
it's not seen, because as what I've known about Winter Soldier, he's like kind of like a
laid-back, like, not effortless, but it seems like he's powerful.
Yeah but for me, I mean, yeah. That side, the dark side. I'm just not too sure because
for Avengers: infinity Wars, he's more of like the better guy now.
The way your arm is set up, it's almost like your arm is your weapon
that, it's your one arm back here that looks like, you know, you're trying to keep it concealed
but it's you know, it looks good.
It creeps me out in a good way
because I think the objective is to show the mysterious side of Winter Soldier
so I think you got it right.
Alright thank you, Latrisha!
Thank you!
And last but not the least, can we please have Stephanie?
Hi!
So who is your character?
Iron Man.
Kyle: Iron Man? Stephanie: Yes.
Oh. I heard earlier that he happens to be your favorite character.
Yeah, him and Captain America for sure, that's why Civil War...
So how was it getting to portray Iron Man?
I was really excited because I'm a huge fan of the Marvel Universe
so I tried my best to portray his confidence in his power 'cause like everyone knows
his true identity, everyone knows he's Tony Stark.
I tried to commit to that confidence and that power and I hope it translated.
Alright, let's see it.
So talk us through this. Like, what were you thinking when you were shooting this?
Well, Iron Man's more of the more popular characters so he has a very like, famous sort of, pose
and I thought that like, from all the pictures that I saw, this was the most confident
and like, the most recognizable for him.
I like that you're showing your confidence as an Iron Man.
I also like the flirty and the charm in it
but at the same time, I wish you could have, like, more dynamic pose.
But for the pose, it's amazing, it's great, I love it
from the arm, all the way to the chest, and waist, and face, and everything
I guess, I just wish the back hand was just a little out
and not that, you know, just so it feels like it's a little more full
What were your other options?
I mean, what were your other poses that you tried to do?
I also did the one where he flies.
What made you choose this over that one?
I just thought that my, like, face looked the strongest as well
and I just looked most confident. Like, the thing I wanted to encapsulate the most was his personality.
It's a fun character to play.
Stephanie: Yeah! Real fun. Hideo: Lucky you! It's easier one to represent and
it's being well done. Good job!
Thank you.
Alright, thanks Stephanie!
Thanks guys!
Thank you!
Thank you for your insights.
We will call you back to announce which of you will move forward in the competition
and which of you will pack their bags and leave the hotel.
Okay guys, so the panel has decided.
Before we proceed with the elimination
The Walt Disney Company Philippines team has prepared a special gift
for whoever has the best output for today.
And taking the number one spot is...
Congratulations, Mark!
If I call your name that means you are safe and moving forward in this competition.
Nico.
Karla.
Sabrina.
Jaime.
Stephanie.
Julian.
Latrisha.
There are two of you left
but only one will be safe in the elimination.
Before we continue, is there anything you would like to say to the assembly?
Even if I will leave tonight, I just want to say to you guys that...
it feels like...
a wonderful whole year went by with you guys.
I love you guys so much and
thank you guys so much for pushing me every day
even every episode I get so anxious.
Yeah, thank you guys so much.
All of you are like my family.
And I just want to thank you all
for giving me, like, this opportunity.
Thank you guys for the kind words.
And the last contestant who will be moving on in this competition is...
Rayana.
I'm sorry Clarice, but you have been eliminated from the SM Youth Go-See.
I was super shocked about tonight's elimination results.
I did not expect Clarice to go home.
I think it shocked everyone that you have to do your best everyday
it's not like you could be Rank 1, Rank 1, Rank 1
but if you suck on that day, you could get eliminated and I think that was a wake-up call for everyone.
I was expecting to leave tonight and hindi ko alam kasi
nung naghihintay pa lang kami, I was like, praying so hard talaga
because like I was very... because I was afraid that I wasn't able to do, like, my main goal here
is to actually really inspire as many people as I can.
Clarice, thank you so much for joining the competition.
We wish you all the best, and we will see you soon, okay?
One thing that I learned that I'm probably gonna treasure forever is
to stop being so hard on myself
and I think it's about time that I do.
You know, I'm already 21. It's about time for me to focus on doing great things and being
better for myself and for the people who are always there for me.
It teaches you to keep on believing yourself lang kasi I think that's the most important thing
even when other people are like, bringing you down or something
at the end of the day, you always have your back. So win or lose, you know?
Even if no one's there for me or what
I'm here for me, and that's the most important thing.
Hi guys! I'm gonna miss you guys so much! Just know that I'm
always going to hype you up and I'm always going to root for your success so
I hope you guys do great things.
Mwah!
Monday next week.
What's up guys! So we're going to do a light run.
Alright guys, good job.
Accessories can transform any plain outfit
and add more individuality and style like nothing else can.
The remaining nine contestants are challenged to produce a high-fashion portrait.
Nice! That's super nice, Nico.
Who will ace their photo shoot?
That's good.
There. Perfect.
And who will lose their momentum?
I'm just not sure if it's really selling the accessories.
This is the SM Youth Go-See.
I hope you guys enjoyed today's episode!
Don't forget that Marvel Avengers: Infinity War is now showing in cinemas nationwide!
I'm sure all of you guys are super excited for it!
For those of you who haven't seen its epic trailer yet
watch it with us in 3, 2, 1...
