Last Jeep Wrangler JK rolls off the line as factory tools up for Wrangler truck - Duration: 4:15.

The Wrangler JK is done.

A white Rubicon Recon Unlimited Jeep Wrangler JK rolled off the Toledo, Ohio production

line yesterday was the last to be built, according to The Blade.

The white Rubicon was Wrangler JK number 2,165,678 in a 12-year, record-breaking production run

that began in 2006 with the 2007 Jeep Wrangler model year.

Fiat Chrysler Automobiles's (FCA) Toledo Assembly Complex builds the new-generation

Jeep Wrangler JL in another part of the same location.

The line that shut down yesterday will be rebuilt to initiate production of the long-awaited

2019 Jeep pickup truck.

The production line conversion starts immediately to begin building the trucks later this year.

The last Wrangler JKs and the first Wrangler JLs are both still available on dealer lots

as 2018 model year 4x4s.

So you can still buy JKs, but you can't special order a custom Wrangler JK from the

factory.

Note: The quickest way to tell the difference between the generations is to look at the

front turn signal lights — the new Wrangler JL's horizontal headlights are on the front

wheel fenders.

Also, if you get closer, all 2018 Wrangler JK models have "WranglerJK" printed on

the sides, just ahead of the front doors.

JK Assembly Center Manager James Gholston Jr. drove the last Jeep Wrangler JK model

off the line Friday afternoon at 3:36 p.m. FCA line workers posed for photos as they

completed their respective tasks with the final JK and joined a crowd of applauding

employees.

The Wrangler JK was an immediate sales success.

Jeep sold 79,017 of the previous generation 2006 Wrangler TJs in that generation's own

last year.

The TJ Wranglers spanned the 1997 to 2006 model years.

Jeep sold 119,000 JKs in its first year; a 50 percent increase.

During the Wrangler JK generation's 12-year lifespan, Jeep sold an average of more than

180,000 units.

The Wrangler JK's success was primarily attributed to the first four-door version,

the Wrangler Unlimited.

A longer wheelbase and two additional doors widened the Wrangler's potential use.

Jeep built both the two-door Wrangler and four-door Wrangler Unlimited model throughout

the JK generation's 12 years.

The JK was more powerful and had more modern vehicle amenities than earlier Wranglers,

but the four doors did the trick.

"There was no competition.

When the four-door came along it opened it up to another demographic, another market,"

Chuck Padden, Toledo Assembly Complex plant manager told The Blade.

"It became not only a great off-road vehicle, but it also became a family vehicle."

The new Wrangler JL is also sold in two-door and four-door versions, although "Unlimited"

is no longer part of the larger version's official model name.

Jeep Wranglers hold a singular spot in American automotive history.

The utility vehicle first built for the U.S. Army in the 1940s has a lasting appeal that

passes beyond generations.

Now we await the first photos and specs for the 2019 Jeep Wrangler pickup truck.

Trump Tweet Storm: Jig is Up For This Obama 'Deep State Operative'

President Trump is taking no prisoners when it comes to outing the Obama's Deep State

for their collusion and lies.

Our America First President took to Twitter and went on an EPIC tweet storm against one

of Obama's lead Deep State operatives, James Clapper, who was recently outed for lying

to Congress and colluding with CNN to spread the fake Russia dossier.

President Trump called former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper a "lying

machine" in a tweet Saturday.The president was reacting to a "Fox & Friends" segment

on the House Intelligence Committee report on Russian activities during the 2016 election

that accuses Clapper of providing "inconsistent testimony" about his contact with the media.

The former spy chief initially said he did not speak with journalists about a secret

intelligence assessment containing information regarding the opposition research dossier

on then-President-elect Trump, before later admitting he discussed the dossier with CNN

reporter Jake Tapper and possibly others, according to the House Intelligence report.

The report concluded Clapper "flatly denied" during a July 2017 interview with the committee

"discuss[ing] the dossier [compiled by former British spy Christopher Steele] or any other

intelligence related to Russia hacking of the 2016 election with journalists."

Later in the same interview, Clapper "acknowledged discussing the 'dossier with CNN journalist

Jake Tapper,' and admitted that he might have spoken with other journalists about the

same topic."

The report linked Clapper's conversation with Tapper to a report that opened the door

for disclosure of the dossier, which contained salacious claims about a footage involving

prostitutes, just before Trump's inauguration.

Clapper retired as DNI on the day of Trump's inauguration and now works as a CNN analyst.The

House Intelligence report, which was released publicly Friday, with redactions, also found

no evidence of "collusion, coordination, or conspiracy between the Trump campaign and

the Russian government."

Trump celebrated this conclusion on Twitter, spuring him to call for the end of special

counsel Robert Mueller's investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election

and possible collusion.

The investigation "MUST END NOW!" he exclaimed in one tweet.,Democrats on the House Intelligence

Committee claim Republicans mishandled the year-long Russia investigation and say it

concluded prematurely.

"Throughout the investigation, Committee Republicans chose not to seriously investigate

— or even see, when in plain sight — evidence of collusion between the Trump campaign and

Russia, instead adopting the role of defense counsel for key investigation witnesses,"

ranking member Adam Schiff, D-Calif., said in a statement Friday.

ThermoWorks ThermaQ Wifi - Unboxing, set-up, use and review - Duration: 14:38.

Today I'll be looking at the ThermoWorks ThermaQ Wi-Fi - unboxing, setup

use and review. Welcome to Raleigh Smoke.

Here we have the ThermoWorks ThermaQ Wifi kit. I'll show you everything that

comes inside, if you buy it or get it as a gift, like me. It comes with two probes.

They're both high quality professional grade stuff here. This is the smoke house

penetration probe or meat probe and this is a pit probe. Both are rated up to 662

degrees Fahrenheit. Pretty cool. You get a grate clip for the pit probe.

It comes with a time stick a thermo works time stick, a $25 value. It's just for like,

you know, you're putting the steak on the grill and let's say you want to flip in

three minutes... That's pretty much it. Nothing really fancy about that. It comes

with some spatulas, not sure why. It comes with a little catalog of things that

thermal work sells, if you feel like spending more of your money. And of

And, of course, it comes to the actual ThermaQ Wifi unit. Now, of course inside the

box you'll find the actual ThermaQ Wifi unit. It also includes a flathead

screwdriver, to access the battery panel in the back, and two double-a batteries.

Inside the box you will also find a Android type USB adapter, that's for

updating firmware if necessary in the actual ThermaQ Wifi. It does come with

this little clip, that goes on the back, that can mount to a tripod or a pair of

legs - that did not come included.

Now, setting up the ThermaQ Wifi is pretty painless.

First things first, you need to download the ThermaQ App from either iTunes or

Google Play. Step #2, You need to put the batteries in the

back of the ThermaQ unit, because without power, you're not doing much.

Step #3, following the directions in the app you'll be connecting your

smartphone to the ThermaQ's built-in Wifi signal. Now, it would have been cool if you

could have used this wifi signal alone, say when you were camping or away from

your home, but they didn't design it that way and it's probably not strong enough.

all right step number four here we're gonna connect the actually units the

home life by network very simply follow the directions on the app enter your

home Wi-Fi network and password once that's done the app will ask you for the

serial number it's on the back of the unit when you punch that in it'll prompt

you for a pairing key code once you got that entered in there everything will be

complete and you'll be ready to cook

for the very first test run of the thermic you Wi-Fi and assign a

spatchcock a chicken hot and fast on the WSM now this is not a very long cook

obviously but it's long enough where if you were cooking it and you need to run

an errand you would want to know hey where's the chicken where's the pit do I

need to go home so I have more time can I run a second errand that's the reason

why I wanted a Wi-Fi enabled remote thermometer not taught you to run to the

grocery store but so I could do anything a number of things so if I needed to go

to work or want to go to church I need to leave the house run an errand I would

know where things are where they stand wasn't I need to get home now first

things first my impressions of the thermic you are pretty good so far it's

easy to set up but I like about this thing here is that the cords are very

long for the probes they're about four or five feet which is great you can put

the unit on a table here like I have out of the elements and away from the cooker

and that's great now the legs that you see on this unit did not come with it I

bought them off Amazon thermo works does sell a pair of legs for like ten dollars

but it don't come with the kit which is really stupid when you spend two hundred

eighty dollars for this thing it doesn't come with a ten dollar pair of legs but

instead they send you a twenty five dollar time stick and a pair of spatulas

now my initial impressions of the thermic you have this bar and that it's

pretty good I mean it's easy to set up easy to use and easy to read it allows

you to click on the individual sensors name them if you want and you can easily

set high and low alarms weights just part of the whole reason why one might

want a remote thermometer of course seeing temperatures while you're waiting

the cooker is one of the biggest advantages but also being notified when

things are getting too hot or too cool is very important for example I set the

chicken here at 165 so this device should send me some sort of alert to let

me know when it's time to pull it off let's say the cooker pit temp gets below

where I want it to be I'll be made aware of that and I can either open the vents

or Admiral fuel whatever the case may be to address that issue now you may or may

not be interested to know that the thermic you Wi-Fi does transmit and

receive information to and from your smart phone some other Wi-Fi enabled

wireless remote thermometers on the market only transmit now I can see this

being an issue if the thermic you Wi-Fi had a built-in audible alarm or

secondary radio receiver like a smoke does what it does it so the fact that

information is being sent back to the device from your phone really doesn't

matter to me but evidently it may matter to you it matters to some people now as

far as the measurements of temperature the thermic you can be set through the

app to collection intervals from every 30 seconds to up to 10 minutes once that

data is received it takes about 15 seconds for it to be transmitted through

the cloud to your phone now one thing that's cool about the app is that you

can graph your temperatures so if you want to know exactly how a cook went

where the temperatures were of your meat how long the stall was you're gonna log

that if you want to log your cooks if you're really big into that and you want

to get really nerd about about you can do that if your phone is set in certain

settings and I'll get into that later now like I said the whole idea behind

having a wireless remote thermometer that is Wi-Fi enabled is so you can

leave the house and still check on things so for a test I'm running an

errand to the local grocery store and I'll pull up my smartphone over the

thermic you app and check on things back at the house as you can see the chicken

is sitting at 135 the pits looking good got a little bit more time to shop

barbecue is doing exactly what it's supposed to do alright so as you can see

the internal temperature of the chicken has reached 165 degrees Fahrenheit in

the breast so it's time to pull it off the cooker I'm sure you're asking at

this point in time what about the alarm what does it sound like what does it

look like well somehow I missed in the recording this video but let me show you

in a demonstration here exactly how the alarm functions in certain settings so

here are the thermic you Wi-Fi step in my house for a test I've got one

programing into my oven that's heating and I've set a high heat alarm on the

app and you can't see the app running because the phone is locked and any

smart phone it's gonna lock after a period of time why so it won't die right

I mean this is how anyone would expect to run a Bluetooth or Wi-Fi enabled

wireless thermometer with their phone lock because anything like a brisket or

a pork butt is gonna be a very long cook and if the phone's not locked your phone

is going to die and so here's the notification you get when the phone is

locked it's not terrible but it's not what I expected I expect to actually be

an alarm this is just a notification you would get like if someone send you a

tweet or something I guess I don't think they'll wake me up I'm doing it over I

cook NORs you can get my attention if there's

any kind of noise in the background now here I have the exact same test the high

heat alarm set on the app but this time the phone is unlocked as if I was doing

nothing but just staring at it that's pretty ridiculous right why were you

alarm to be that loud I'm looking at the actual app and the phone is unlocked now

I know what you're thinking there's got to be a setting somewhere in the app or

on the phone that allows you to augment these weird notification settings well

technically yes but not really all it allows you to do is turn the sounds on

and off so if you want that loud alarm say for an overnight cook so you can

actually wake up when your pick temperature gets too low and you've got

to address it you've got to go through your phone go through the settings and

make sure the screen never locks and be sure to plug it in so it won't die and

you've got to make sure the app is running in the foreground and not the

background because if the app is running on the background you get that dinky

alarm and you're probably not gonna wake it up and if you want to use that

graphing software to keep track of your cooks you got to do the exact same thing

which doesn't even make sense because the app is constantly receiving data

from the thermic you but it's only plotting it when the phone is unlocked

and the app is in the foreground now I do not know who designed this app but

whoever did probably didn't ask many questions and I really wonder if thermal

works even didn't he beta testing because if they did I can't see how

anyone who barbecues wouldn't have brought these notifications and graphing

issues to the forefront before the product was put to market and what's

even more surprising is the fact that this product has been out since June of

2017 and although there has been some updates to the app none of them have

fixed these particular issues but let me be clear here this is not an instrument

problem it is an app supporting software problem it's a very very fixable problem

and thermal works you want to fix it

now no product review is complete without knowing all the good and all the

bad about a particular product because there are things good about this one so

let's take a look at them both here in the pros and cons so first things first

let's focus on the good stuff the positives the pros the thermic you Wi-Fi

is made by thermal works and they make some excellent stuff their products are

go twos for professional chefs and pitmasters they are well known and well

respected so first things first I have to say that I can't help but like the

fact of thermic you Wi-Fi is a professional-grade product that

according to thermal works this device or instrument was built for the

commercial kitchen and the competition barbecue circuit so you know its

componentry and calibrations are the company's best so that's gotta be worth

something now I've got to get points here for this products ease of operation

it was easy to setup it is easy to operate and a display is quite large and

easy to read and because Wi-Fi enabled you can use your smartphone and don't de

leur like some 20 weird different sequences for its two buttons the case

of the thermic u Wi-Fi is quote unquote splash proof with a rating of IP 55 and

though I'm not really sure what that means I do think it can withstand a

splash obviously or perhaps leave the light rain which is nice to know in case

it gets caught out in the elements the probe quality and length of the quartz

is a definite plus year I think I said it earlier the cords were maybe four to

five feet long but they're actually nearly seven feet long which is great

not having to hang this thing off your cooker and be able to put on a table is

so nice plus the prone cords are wrapped in a woven stainless steel wiring and

they're able to withstand being closed an oven door so they should be a

withstand some decent use around your smoker or grill my only caveat so that I

wish the gray clip for the pit pro actually held the probe that's a bit

loose and the hyemi probe it's kind of long I mean perfect for a pork butt and

brisket what's a bit tricky with a tri-tip or chicken breast so I bet you

to buy a similar one but overall the probes are great quality extremely

accurate and I really love the long cords

now another thing that's great about the thermic you Wi-Fi is this extended

battery life according to thermal works this thing can last up to 4,000 hours on

just two double-a batteries that's fantastic

plus since the display has a battery life indicator on it you'll know exactly

when those 4,000 hours are almost up so let's talk here about the negative stuff

that cons there aren't a ton of bad things and maybe some of them will are

just me being nitpicky but I think they're worth mentioning now first and

foremost are the issues I mentioned earlier about the apps notification and

grabbing features and I stated in the pros this is a professional or

commercial grade product I don't think it's too much to ask that the app that

supports it works just as well as the instrument now I have called thermo

Works and brought these issues to their attention and I asked if they had any

intentions of fixing them for which I am eagerly waiting response and I certainly

hope that they do fix it because it would not only make their little

customers happy it would also make this product what it should have been from

the start nothing but the best now this brings me to the second biggest

con the price the thermic you Wi-Fi is $239 alone with no probes and 290 as a

kid that's a pretty steep price when you consider that there are other Wi-Fi

enabled Wireless thermometers on the market that are either cheaper or have

more functions and/or features but let me remind you you are paying for a

professional-grade product which I personally didn't have an issue with

because of who was buying it from but the issues with the app they're kind of

like a throwing aside when you think about what it cost thirdly this product

is Wi-Fi only now it's not like I didn't know what I was buying but if you take

this thing somewhere is that Wi-Fi it's just a pricey wired thermometer what

would have been sweet is if you were able to use the built-in Wi-Fi signal

for those times but you can so maybe down the road they'll either make the

change or they'll merge the thermic you blues' bluetooth technology into the

thermic you Wi-Fi who knows my force complaints that there's no backlit

screen for the price they should have included it it comes on the mk4

thermapen comes on the smoke and it comes in the thermo pot which only cost

$30 so why not in the Cadillac of wireless thermometers and lastly amazes

me being but why not audible alarm in the actual

unit if they went through the trouble of having the two-way communication between

the unit and your smartphone why not add an audible alarm I don't know it's not

needed but it would been the chief feature I've been kind of cool I guess

so here you have it these are what I think are all the pros and cons of the

thermic you Wi-Fi with all that said I will continue to use my thermic you

Wi-Fi because well my wife bought it for me it still does work in weird

parameters and what else am I gonna do I just hope they fixed the app and will

abide on the thermal works product yeah I think so I mean they're a pretty good

company with great customer service that I have experienced firsthand it was

probably a year or so ago that my thermapen mk4 was crushed during a

flight back to Raleigh so after I found out there more exceeded repairs I called

him and told him what happened they said they can fix it so I set it on its way

now that they ship it back to me in a few days for free but it was fixed good

as new with the repair covered under warranty truly outstanding stuff so I

really hope they fixed the app and continued to strive to be the best

because that's what most of us think when we think thermal works thanks for

Here's how a 100,000-mile Tesla Model S holds up - Duration: 2:54.

The vast, vast majority of luxury cars on sale in the U.S. score high in initial quality.

Long-term quality, on the other hand, is a different matter, and it tends to be obscured

by thick clouds of model year differences, transmission versions, repeat recalls and

maintenance (or lack thereof) by owners.

At times it seems that it's equally possible to find a problem-free example of any given

model -- and one that seems to have been assembled solely from parts rejected by quality control

or from crash-tested cars.

More odious is the mantra-like logic of EV owners who will point out at every opportunity

that electric cars need far less maintenance because they don't have internal combustion

engines or transmissions, ignoring the small issue of battery replacement costs for high-mileage

EVs that may not be worth all that much, or secondary systems shared with ICE cars.

Is this view reflected by the experiences of high-mileage EVs?

Britain's Car magazine didn't set out to answer this difficult question -- they just wanted

to check out a Tesla Model S with 100,600 miles on it.

The car itself is a 2013 model that belongs to Chargemaster, which is the U.K.'s biggest

provider of EV charging stations, and Car magazine believes it has a chance of being

the highest-mileaged Tesla Model S in the U.K. at the moment.

So how did this Model S hold up after 100,600 miles of heavy use?

The good news is that the electric powertrain has been described as "faultless," with the

85-kWh battery only losing 10 miles of its initial full-charge rating of 240 miles.

The only noticeable change over the 100,000 miles, Car notes, is a whine created by the

motor of this rear-wheel-drive Model S ... at least as far as the powertrain goes.

But what about the other items, the kind that tend to get up and leave long before any of

the powertrain components do in a big luxury sedan?

WW3 warning: '80,000 Iranian fighters' could launch GROUND INVASION to break up Israel

THE shock revelation of an alleged Iranian base in Syria, close to the Israeli border,

holding up to 80,000 fighters has threatened to push the world closer to an outbreak of

conflict, according to expert commentators on the BBC.

The Israeli ambassador to the UN revealed earlier this week a photo of an alleged Iranian

base near Damascus, holding up to 80,000 fighters.

In response, Israel insisted the country would launch a military strike to prevent Tehran

from launching a ground invasion across the nearby border.

Ambassador Danny Danon presented the aerial photograph on Thursday, telling the UN Security

Council: "There are over 80,000 extremists from all over the Middle East who are members

of Shia militias in Syria under Iranian control.

"It is at this base, just over five miles from Damascus, where these dangerous extremists

are trained and then assigned their missions of terror throughout Syria and the region."

In a shocking threat to the Tehran regime, the ambassador added: "Israel has a very clear

policy.

We will not allow regimes that seek our destruction to acquire nuclear weapons."

Speaking on the BBC panel show Dateline, Alex Deane, a British Conservative commentator,

claimed an Iranian ground invasion could not be ruled out.

He said: "80,000 so far is not a small manoeuvre, that tens of thousands of troops.

"People don't want the Iranian regime to be the next North Korea, empowered by nuclear

capabilities to reinforce itself and stop conventional intervention with nuclear retaliation."

Earlier in the show, Agnes Poirier, from French broadcaster Marianne, added: "Syria is becoming

a sort of Lebanon.

Iran is using Syria to pressure Israel.

"There are 80,000 Iranian forces scattered around Syria, and Israel is rightfully concerned.

Iran is trying to control Damascus as much as Beirut.

There are growing tensions between Western powers and Iran, ahead of 12th May deadline

set by US President Donald Trump, who has threatened to pull out of the Iranian nuclear

deal.

Mr Trump has vowed to never let Iran have nuclear weapons, but refused to say if he

would consider military force.

Ambassador Danon's announcement at the UN follows the the 9th April attack on Syria's

T-4 air base, which killed seven members of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps, including

the head of its drone program, Mehdi Dehghan.

Iran, Syria, Russia, and some US officials have all said Israel was responsible for the

strike but Israeli officials have refused to comment on the matter.

Israeli officials have previously stated that they will not allow Iran to entrench itself

in Syria, noting it as a "red line" for military action.

Earlier this week, Israel's defense minister Avigdor Lieberman agreed that his country

will strike Tehran if attacked by Iran.

He said: "We hear many Iranian threats but if they attack Tel Aviv, we will strike Tehran."
