So I'm working on this brand new 2017 Chevy Silverado
It only has 2,000 miles on it
But the dealership already has done their damage to the paint before the owner took delivery of it
This truck here serves as a good example of why if you are interested in having your new vehicle ceramic coated
That you not let the dealership touch it or prep it
This spot here where there's no gloss or clarity to the paint
Looks to me like somebody took a scotch brite pad or something else abrasive to the paint
to remove
Perhaps something that was stuck on there
Now let's be real here
This truck is brand new, it only has 2,000 miles on it, and it cost probably, I would say about $50,000
Personally, I don't think
Anybody would expect their brand new vehicle to look like that
Now before we ceramic coat this truck, we've performed a paint correction
to remove those types of defects and restore gloss and clarity
