Youtube daily is the new Apr 27 2018

- Hello, hello, hello my friends.

Kaitlyn here and let's do an Apartment Tour.

(chiming)

(upbeat electronic music)

So 2018 has been crazy.

I moved back in February

and I made this video when I first moved

because everything seemed to be going wrong.

So I'm pretty sure that there are mice, which is not cool.

No one told me there were mice.

I'm pretty sure they shouldn't have

allowed me to come in here with mice.

Here's the washer and dryer that the mice live in.

(animal squeaking)

It was dirty.

There were no blinds or window coverings of any kind.

And there were a lot of weird little things

that just seemed gross or unsafe.

Like this super nasty shower head, just...gross.

Or this random transformer that was screwed into the wall.

had cords coming out that were cut

and it had actually burned the outlet

behind where it as screwed in.

So basically it was a fire hazard.

Things were a mess and if you know me,

you know I don't like messes.

Because my life in general this year has been a mess

so I needed some semblance of control or consistency.

Just something.

But, hey, like two months after moving in,

I'm finally, I'm finally getting there.

So let's go take a look around.

(upbeat music)

- Ah (laughs).

So I guess, let's start in here.

This is my office.

Over here we have this cool, original fireplace

that looks like it has a door to a magical land.

And I have my vision board up top

with fun, decorative things.

Fake, fake succulents.

These are fake because I kill plants.

You've seen this as a background

for a few of my videos, now,

and I'm still kind of working on the layout I have.

I feel like it's a little bit too busy now.

So, it's a work in progress.

Here's my cool desk from Ikea.

I'm very, very excited about this desk

because it is very big and wide and long

and there's probably like a that's what she said joke

somewhere in there.

It's just so much easier to work at

and spread out all of my stuff and video edit

than my previous desk had been

where I felt very cramped.

Of course, I have to have a picture of Finn.

Another picture of Finn.

And then a picture of my dad when he was very, very young.

So, my dad and my cat.

That's how I roll.

Over here we have, the right side

are all my art supplies.

And the left side is mostly boxes of junk.

Fun fact, here's my glasses collection.

It's definitely a large amount in here.

Random thing covered with a shower curtain over here.

Well, it is a gigantic closet

and you can see where there's like a space

for a sliding inset door but the door was not there

and all that was there was this tension rod

so I found this cool floral shower curtain

and now we cover it so that everyone doesn't see

my giant collection of clothes.

Now let's continue on.

So we come out of the front room

and we enter into the living room.

Let me turn some lights on.

So here we are in the living room.

It should be noted that I'm on the second floor

so there is a long, dark stairwell

that I may have tripped and almost fallen

down these stairs more than I would like to admit.

We've got a nice couch or loveseat that was donated by my aunt.

Thank you, Aunt Grace!

This is wonderful, I have a place to sit (laughs)

in my apartment, which is really nice.

I'm a very big fan of my bookcase/television stand

and TV because this is my first ever TV that I've owned.

I may have gone slightly overboard in size

but I got a good deal.

There is that.

This is the bookcase that was awful to put together.

It said, do not use power tools

but unless you are a bodybuilder,

you definitely needed a drill to put this thing together.

Also, I'm very, very proud of my rainbow,

color-coded books on the bottom.

Photos of friends.

More friends.

There's a whole bunch of wires from my internet.

We won't, don't look at that part.

Look at this part.

Oh, this is great.

This mirror is wonderful.

I got this for $12 at Goodwill.

Just randomly went into a Goodwill

searching for just anything and stumbled upon this.

So, this is why you should definitely go thrift shopping.

Pretty real flowers for my birthday is another plant

that I'm trying to keep alive and probably

not doing the best job at.

Now we walk through this dark hallway

and first we get to the bathroom.

So this bathroom was kind of scary when I first moved in.

We talked about this being like

a clawfoot tub with a shower attachment.

And I was very worried about

how I was gonna make it all work.

But with like four shower curtains

and a whole bunch of zip ties, I have made it work.

You wanna peek outside the window

and see how close I am to the other apartment?

Look how close.

There's another roof.

This is why it was very weird

to not have blinds when I first moved in

because everyone's gonna see you pee.

The toilet's right there.

What, what?

Hello kitchen.

♪ Ah! ♪

So the kitchen's definitely about

creative storage solutions because you'll notice

this is the only cabinet in here.

I have been pretty smart with this cabinet.

I've got a lot of these divider, riser things

which has really doubled the amount of stuff

I can store in here.

Also, I got more hooks for this pot rack.

It looks dangerous (laughs).

I don't know how well it is holding everything

but it looks cool, right, against that brick wall, right?

Uh huh, uh huh, uh huh.

And finally, let's enter the purple oasis

that is my bedroom.

♪ Ah! ♪

Oh, hey, so hello.

Here's the beautiful brick wall

that I put my fairy string lights against.

It's really cool to sit in here at night

after the sun has gone down.

Sitting in the dark, this is really, really nice

to just have these lights on.

It makes it (breathing out) good, calming mood.

I very much enjoy it.

Here's my bed.

Very, very purple.

You'll remember these paintings

from the background of previous videos.

A massive amount of blankets because I have

to make myself a cocoon when I sleep.

My jewelry board.

Again, I have too many necklaces.

This is a recurring theme, as you'll see.

I have too much of everything.

Like, here are some belts, don't look at them (laughs).

This door actually goes out to a balcony back here.

It's shared with my nextdoor neighbor over on this side.

So I don't go out there very often.

I'll you a small peek.

I don't know if they'll be out there.

My back deck.

I don't know what's happening over here.

That's my neighbor's but here's my space.

I haven't used it.

A little backyard space.

Yeah, there you go.

So there you go.

Now you've been on the official KP Apartment Tour.

I'm really starting to like it.

I'm definitely more settled now.

I've got a place to do my yoga,

I've got my cooking routines down

and I've got rugs which just

really make things seem homier, even if they're not

in their final resting places yet.

More than anything, it's mine.

And I feel safe and I'm in an interesting neighborhood

that's got some cool things going on

that I'm slowly starting to get plugged into.

So, yeah, good things are happening.

For the question today, I wanna know,

what do you think about the apartment?

Tell me, down in the comments.

Plus remember that you can follow me on these other

social media sites, Instagram is

my favorite and maybe now that

I've got a nice apartment, I'll start

posting artsy apartment photos and become

like a lifestyle blogger.

Probably...probably not.

And if this video made ya smile, be sure to subscribe

And hit the notification bell so that you know the

moment there's a new video for ya.

And I'll see you guys next Thursday. Bye!

The new Gmail Tour: Re-design 2018 - Duration: 9:24.

Hello everyone and welcome back to another video it is Francesco here and in today today

We are checking out the brand new redesign of the Gmail web application

So we're gonna be diving into what's new

What's available and what has changed in the latest version so guys if you are a Gmail fan do stay tuned if you're brand new

To the Keep Productive YouTube channel, hit subscribe and without further ado, let's dive in

So here we are with the brand new gmail redesign

And I really do apologize because it did take me a little bit longer to get access to it and that's because if you are

Looking to actually get access

This first video to the Gmail experience all you have to do is going over to settings conch and at the top there will be

a little message saying try the new Gmail

So just be aware of that and mind and pop up till today, which is pretty late

But you can always go back to the classic one if you don't enjoy it now what I'm gonna quickly

Do is actually go back to classic one and show you what that looks like in comparison?

With the brand new experience now. We all know the classic Gmail design you can see here

It is pretty basic now once you see the new one you really can't get back in terms of visually experiencing things

This new version is meant to be a total UI design overhaul

There are a few new features, so let's dive in and check it out now as you can see here

This is my sort of primary Bay on the left-hand side you've obviously got all of your folders

That traditionally stay along that left-hand side you've also got this new main menu that allows you to cut it down

So if you were to able to learn all of the icons or even just hovering over them

We'll bring them up so if I wanted to skip this end folder for example

I could and I have a little bit more space which is quite nice

Now you have this new compose button on the left hand side so if I hit compose this window gets brought up

And of course there's only some slight modifications

In here in terms of design down in the bottom at a runt tank corner

You've got obviously this ability to change stuff, but apart from that. There's not really any

radical changes in terms of the design here

I'm going to demonstrate a quick send email

And what that looks like because what will happen is you will see that if the bottom left-hand corner?

disappears an undo send message

and you can quickly do that and once you undo send it will bring you back to the initial compose window which is a

It's been a feature. They've had for a little bit, but only accessible for its settings, and they've made that widely available

Now of course now some of the changes are happened on the left hand side things have got a little more material

Designee which is quite nice now of course we know that and Google are rolling out their new font

And you can see that in this case you can see their nice new font

They haven't actually fully updated in some areas

But that's not really a misdemeanor so you can see I've still got these sort of separations that

Google created the configure inbox and wild go so that's not changed at all but on this right-hand panel

I'm really getting my right and left wrong today

You can see that there are three additional things as well as a plus button for adding more and ons

Adding more add-ons so you can see here you can now access

Calendar through your actual applications, which is impressive so for example?

Let's say I'm dealing with some emails here, and I'm like okay

I need to find a time ok what am I actually doing next Thursday?

you can actually go to that time and of course scroll through the date as well as if you wanted to open up in a

new tab and of course get back to today if you wish and

With them here, you can plot out a different calendar items, so this is a very nice additional feature

In the experience and it's something that

Google I think of being meaning to squeeze calendar in there for a while, but it's more of a workspace edition

So that's really all there

It does

The only other thing that it does is if you want to check out a sent calendar event or even edit it all you have

To do is click into that one, and if you press X some common it just hides it away

So you don't necessarily have to use this experience now here

We are and Google keep we all know Google keep is the note-taking experience here, so here. We are

The notes are already in line which is great

So in my checklists for the holiday and some information about the Rome trip. I went on but you can see here

You can actually take notes along your Gmail which is amazing so for example

Let's say you're like composing an email, and you're like okay. I actually need to get a few things done

You can just start getting going on it

The only other thing you can do is create lists as well, so if there's a list specific items

So they're they're real to ones you can create, but they appear really nicely in this sort of card light format

Which I really like and of course you can tick off. I think take off items you can take off items

Inside of that which is impressive as you can see I haven't used Google

keep for a while

Although I do really credit the experience and like I said before you can even go out here now

I'm not sure whether there is a search experience

I can't actually see it, but I'm sure they'll be able to add those small additional tweaks now

You've also got a new experience down here called Google Tasks, and this is something

I'm gonna do a separate review on separately I've ever brought separately

But it's essentially allowing you to store all of your most important tasks and making them more definable inside of Google

It's a task manager. They've just released it so you've also got to get add-ons here. You couldn't also add the likes of Trello

And that will all merge in when you google but again

I'm not sure all of these are tailored to the new experience so just be aware of that

And that's a Google suite marketplace now. I'm just using a simple google account although. I do have a

full Google Apps for work suite

And it seems to be working really well on this now the only other additions. You've got so for example

I'm just going to send an email to myself to demonstrate this

Hello Francesca

You've got a few other

Sort of functions that you can use and then I'm going to show you this settings folder

so here we are a

File from Mia's been sent

So you can see here the design has slightly tweaked in this one of course you can here we go

You can go into this email and reply

of course they do have the

Quick reply function which is available in?

More of the iOS application, but you can see here that they've got the traditional

Functions all down here being able to I filter report etc

so nothing in great deal has changed in terms of distance variance so it's still a

Pretty number one experience now on this side

You've got the ability to snooze the email snoozing an email is very similar to Outlook and Newton

You can basically snooze it for tomorrow and it will appear tomorrow in your inbox which is impressive

So that's just something Dave looking to add of course you can still pin stuff

And you can snooze from up here actually now

Which is very useful so apart from that that is the only real X for addition to that side of stuff now

I just want to show you these settings of course you've got in the display and density you have you actually

Changed it to default one I believe but you can change that in there you've also got themes. I'm not sure they're gonna customize

Exactly to the new experience, but it's definitely worth checking that out if you were real hardcore

Googler and so you can see here the undo send I demonstrated earlier you can actually extend it to 30 seconds which is a little

Longer which is pretty good allowing you to undo that email you can actually have conversation view as well

That groups all of the items together again

This hasn't really greatly changed from the experience last time and you've also got the ability to change all of your other items

Too now on this side you've got labels inbox. Nothing's really again

Greatly changed in this experience. You got filters and blocks and forwarding and add-ons and chat

advanced etc

I mean these are the more advanced settings so you can have a preview panel on the right-hand side

So these might be for the more sort of techie nerdy

people out there you want to go crazy with their google experience, so they're some of the major changes in the new Gmail I

Will also be trying to do a medium art cornice

There are a few new features in terms of like self destruct and things like that

But I didn't really want to show you that in today's future

It's something that I probably will feature in the software pulse or even just other

another feature very soon so guys

I really appreciate you stopping by today if you're brand new to do YouTube channel make sure to hit subscribe

If you want to hear more about Gmail

Let me know in the comments below the guys that I really appreciate you stopping by summation of a great week key productive

And I'll see you guys from very very soon Cheers

HOW TO ASSEMBLE AND ACTIVATE THE NEW MODIFICATION OF THE BOSCH PERFORMANCE CX ELECTRIC BIKE - Duration: 4:51.

Hi guys I'm Lory Bart, today let's see how you can mount an updated modification for the Bosch Performance CX engine we already made a video

With the editing of the change, however, this here has evolved and then I'll show you

updating how to connect and how to attract. First work to do and remove the battery

Now we have to remove the crank to mount the modification, after which the plastic casing will be broken.

To remove the crank arm you need this type of extractor with a wide cap

Because otherwise it enters the hole so it takes off

Et voilà dismounted crank

Now we start to remove the whole part of the carter

The change in question is this here with four plugs that from

150 euros we have to

disconnect these two pins, we have to disconnect them with a screwdriver

So, let's break up

One

and two

You can not go wrong because they are identical then practically

The two pins

they go in this verse here like this

Those equal to each other male and female and the bigger one is the same

Here it is done, the wires of the engine connected with the modification

Now, the threads of the modification

we go to the engine

Ok for safety we fix the plugs with a bit of hot glue like that

So that with the vibrations, they can not be detached

Ok once the cables are fixed so they do not give

interference nowhere let's go to put the lid

Now we fix all the screws on the lid and remount its cranks

We tighten tightly

Now let's reassemble his battery

We light

Holding down the talk button the one below, it should appear 9.9 in fact

So the change is active if you want to disable the monification press again talk

and it comes out 2.5 in this way the modification is deactivated

Now, we do not have to go and try it, I'm curious!

Let's see if it exceeds 25kmh

I hope I have also been helpful with this video tutorial I recommend

subscribe to my channel you like and see you in the next video. Hello guys.

We Are Republican Teachers Striking in Arizona. It's Time to Raise Taxes. | NYT - Opinion - Duration: 3:53.

As a conservative,

the words "strike," "union" —

not in my vocabulary.

Our students deserve to have a fully funded

education.

I did vote for Trump.

I consider myself a Bible-believing Christian.

I've always been a fan of fiscal conservatism.

I've always voted Republican,

but now I'm seeing firsthand what that gets us.

The classrooms are falling apart.

We have festering bathrooms.

We have cockroaches.

We have tattered textbooks.

Teachers aren't getting the resources

that they need within the classroom.

A wave of protests sweeping across the country,

led by teachers who say the future of public education

is at stake.

Teachers and specifically

public-school teachers really aren't valued.

I have to work 15 to 20 extra hours a week

at McDonald's for minimum wage.

Teaching is my calling.

I love teaching music to children.

That's who I am.

And people say,

if you don't like the money,

go do something else.

I can't.

I'm 53 years old.

I'm doing what I'm supposed to do.

I know that I will have to work until the day I die.

I won't be able to afford to ever be retired.

Because of the way that the state

has chosen to fund education for the last 15 years,

it's simply made it untenable for me to stay.

I'm not leaving teaching.

I am leaving the state because of these issues.

I don't believe it's going to get fixed.

I just don't.

We are 43rd across the nation in teacher salary.

This is why we're going to restore additional assistance.

I'm not bragging on 43rd.

I'm just saying we're not last.

So we're not just striking for a higher salary.

We're striking for resources for our classrooms

and for our students.

We are at the bottom of the pile for the states.

We've seen teachers walking out or striking

in West Virginia, in Oklahoma and some other states successfully.

And we realized that we were worse off

than some of those states were,

and it just grew like wildfire.

Teachers are riding a growing wave of anger

over deep education cuts

made by Republican- led legislatures.

[chanting]

The teacher protests have been described

by some as a red-state revolt.

I've said I'm on the side of the teachers,

and I've been listening, and we've been working.

This will result in a net pay increase of 20 percent

by the beginning of school year 2020.

So, on the surface, that sounds amazing.

It won't help substitutes, it won't help our aides.

It won't help our nurses, our front staff.

It comes out of funds that go to veterans,

people in our population who are disabled and on Medicaid,

colleges and universities in our state.

I voted for Governor Ducey

and I was really hopeful.

And now, honestly, I just feel betrayed.

How can you say you're pro-life, and pro-family, and pro-middle class?

Even as a conservative,

I think it's only fiscally responsible to increase a tax

to fund public education.

Oh my gosh.

Did I just say it out loud?

I do.

I support a tax.

I will tell you this right now,

if you are a Republican politician,

you better get behind education.

I've been on my feet for five hours,

waiting on people,

sweeping, mopping.

I probably won't get to bed until 12:30 or 1 o'clock tonight.

And then I've got to be back up at 6 or 6:30 tomorrow morning.

Good night.
