The hidden dangers of birth control pills doctors don�t want you to know

Many young women�s first trip to the gynecologist is prompted by a desire to take birth control

pills, whether they are trying to avoid getting pregnant or hoping to alleviate the symptoms

of premenstrual syndrome.

Perhaps they know someone who takes �the pill,� or a well-meaning parent or boyfriend

has encouraged them to go on birth control.

Most doctors are all too willing to hand them a prescription simply because they asked for

it, and they often leave the doctor�s office with a few sample packs in hand so they can

get started right away.

Unfortunately, there is usually little mention of side effects apart from an obligatory blood

pressure check.

Birth control pills might be a convenient way of avoiding pregnancy, but they are not

without their risks.

Many women falsely believe that because they are used so widely, they must be safe, and

they often don�t learn about the side effects until it�s too late.

You might not get pregnant when you take the pill, but you could end up with a lot of other

very unwanted effects.

Some of the effects that women might notice right away after starting the pill aren�t

that different from pregnancy, including weight gain, tenderness in the breasts, mood swings,

nausea, and a decrease in libido.

That�s only the beginning.

Over time, the list of side effects grows to include yeast overgrowth and infection,

irregular bleeding, higher blood pressure, spotting between periods, fluid retention

and lower bone density.

Contraceptive pills can also raise your risk of liver and gall bladder diseases and lead

to liver tumors and gallstones.

Birth control pills more than double your risk of stroke

One of the biggest risks associated with birth control pills, however, is their ability to

increase the risk of blood clotting in your veins, a risk that climbs as you take it for

longer periods or take higher doses.

Pills containing progestin are particularly risky.

Thrombosis symptoms include chest pain, shortness of breath, rapid pulse and nausea, and if

it goes undetected, it could lead to a fatal stroke.

In fact, the American Stroke Association reports that women who take birth control pills, even

the low-estrogen variety that some women believe are less harmful, are twice as likely to suffer

a stroke than those who do not take the pill, and the risk is even higher if they have other

risk factors, like being overweight or smoking.

Another reason to avoid these nasty pills is the fact that studies have found that taking

them for five years more than doubles your risk of getting a brain tumor.

If the thought of brain cancer isn�t enough to scare you off, what about the fact that

studies have found a connection between the use of oral contraceptives and cervical cancer

as well as breast cancer?

Safer alternatives to birth control pills

Being proactive about avoiding unwanted pregnancy is commendable, and no one wants to discourage

women from doing so.

However, there are other ways to avoid getting pregnant that will not risk your health.

Many people have had success using natural family planning, keeping track of their cycles

so they can avoid having sex around ovulation.

Paying attention to cervical mucus and using the temperature method are also safe and effective

methods.

Condoms, when used properly, can also help prevent pregnancy, as can diaphragms.

If you�re taking, or considering taking, birth control for PCOS or menstruation regulation,

a naturopath can help you find natural solutions that will work instead, such as vitamin D,

omega-3 fatty acids, and inositol.

Why take a chance when so many safer alternatives exist?

Top 10 Iron Man Secrets Marvel Doesn't Want You To Know - Duration: 6:50.

Hey guys!

Welcome back to Top 10 Nerd, I'm Ron McKenzie-Lefurgey.

Iron Man is insanely popular nowadays; he's super cool and it seems like Marvel can do

no wrong with him.

But there are certain things that not everyone knows, sometimes because it's obscure and

sometimes because it makes Marvel look bad.

So let's talk about some of these things you might not know about him!

Now of course, the big comic fans might know some or all of these; if you do, good on ya!

But keep in mind that not everyone's as smart as you!

Now get ready, it's time for the Top 10 Iron Man Secrets that Marvel Doesn't Want

You to Know About!

Number 10: Tom Cruise was almost Iron Man.

Hoo boy, I bet he's kicking himself for this one.

Before Robert Downey Junior was selected to be Iron Man, Tom Cruise was slated to be taking

on the mantle.

Unfortunately for him, he decided to turn it down because he didn't think it would

be anything special.

I'm gonna go ahead and say he was wrong on that one, but frankly I'm glad he didn't

take the part because Robert Downey Jr. is the absolute perfect casting.

Number 9: Tony was once the Secretary of Defense.

In the comics, Tony Stark spent some time working for the US government as Secretary

of Defense.

Really, he's kinda the best man for the job, having defended the country in more ways

than anyone ever has.

It was a rather short-lived tenure, but it was pretty cool to see.

This was even referenced in the film Iron Man 2; when Tony was at a congressional hearing,

he told Senator Stern that he'd be happy to take a position as Secretary of Defense.

While we've yet to see it actually happen in the films (and by the looks of things,

probably won't) it was a nice bit of fan-service, and gave us nerds something to chuckle at

and feel superior.

Number 8: The meaning of Jarvis.

If you're an Iron Man fan, you'll know the good ol' AI Jarvis, who would later

become part of Vision.

I mean he doesn't exactly BECOME him but you know what I mean.

It's complicated.

But one thing that was never really said outright in the films was what exactly JARVIS stands

for.

Well, prepare to be disappointed.

Or give a slight chuckle.

Because it stands for Just A Rather Very Intelligent System.

Apparently Tony's creativity doesn't extend to naming things.

Fun fact, Paul Bettany didn't actually know what film he was working on while recording

the voice for JARVIS; he just did it as a favour to Jon Favreau.

Good call Favreau.

Number 7: He fought his teenage self.

Well, his teenage self from an alternate universe fought him when he was hypnotized and working

for a supervillain.

Then he sacrificed himself.

Then he merged with his teen self.

Yeah, there's a reason not many people know about this.

In the Crossing storyline, it turns out Tony was under the control of the evil Kang/Immortus,

so the Avengers had to fight against both Kang and Tony.

And they go "Well, let's just get another Tony!" and get his teenage version from

Earth 96029.

The two end up fighting it out and old Tony breaks out of the mind control and sacrifices

himself to save the day.

And later he and Teen Tony were merged by Franklin Richards into one Iron Man.

This is the kind of thing that Marvel would love to forget about, but it's fun to laugh

at the less awesome storylines.

Number 6: Mr. Doll.

Look, Iron Man has some pretty lame villains, but Mr. Doll is definitely one of the worst.

He uses a little voodoo doll thing that he can shape to look like someone, then he can

use the doll to control that person.

Can you think of why he's crap?

Well, for one, he needs to change the doll when he sees you, so if you just attack quickly

he's just a guy in a stupid hat.

But even if he does get his doll created in time, he just has the one.

So like, if he's attacked by TWO heroes… or even just two regular people… he's

pretty useless.

Marvel tends to keep him on the down low, not using him anymore, and I think it's

safe to say that they'd be happy if he disappeared forever.

Number 5: Ultimate Iron Man.

Man, this whole thing was just weird, and a pretty low point for Marvel.

The Ultimate comics certainly had some redeeming qualities, but they went super weird with

Tony Stark.

In this reality, Tony was born with his brains strung throughout his body, causing his skin

to be extremely sensitive.

So his father decided to blue him.

By which I mean, of course, he gave him a blue armour made of computronium that made

his skin look blue.

Why, what did you think I meant?

This was stupid not only because it looked really dumb, but because it could be washed

off with antibacterial soap.

It pains me that it's dumb because it was written by Orson Scott Card, who also wrote

one of my favourite books of all time, Ender's game.

But maybe it's just karma getting him back for the ridiculous stuff he's said.

I'll just stick with Ender and Bean.

Number 4: Originally, he had to keep charging himself.

While many people nowadays are used to Iron Man being powered by the arc reactor like

we see in the movies, in the comics he had to keep charging his suit to keep himself

alive, something that almost killed him a few times.

This was a pretty dumb mechanic that has since been removed, and it won't be coming back

soon.

And thank goodness, because it was just silly.

It wasn't even a special charger.

Just a regular power cord plugged into the wall.

Yeah, definitely glad the movies didn't take that route.

Number 3: The sexy Riri incident.

Here's one thing that Marvel really doesn't want us to know about, because it caused them

some problems in the past.

When Riri Williams, or Iron Heart, was introduced, some fans were upset at how sexually she was

drawn, considering she's just 15.

I kinda understand both sides of this one, on the one hand the guy did keep it pretty

close to the image he was given, but on the other hand she IS 15 and she could probably

look a bit younger and a bit less sexualized.

My question is, have these people not heard of anime?

If they think this is bad, they'd explode if they watched an episode of High School

DxD.

Number 2: Tony Stark is Based on Howard Hughes.

You may not know about Howard Hughes, considering he died well before most of us were even born,

but the dude was basically Tony Stark minus the heroism and shiny metal suits.

Hughes was a handsome playboy billionaire inventor and adventurer.

Now who does that remind you of?

Hughes also showed some pretty eccentric behaviour, obsessed with sorting peas by their size and

even living in a screening room for four months straight without leaving.

He's basically Tony Stark personified, and based on his face and name it really looks

like Marvel continued this trend by basing Dominic Cooper's Howard Stark on Howard

Hughes himself.

Pretty neat.

Number 1: Rocket Skates.

Here's one that Marvel would definitely hit the delete button on if they could.

Because hoo baby is it dumb.

I can't imagine I have to explain why it's stupid to you.

I mean, first of all, roller skates just look stupid, and they look even stupider on a heavily-armoured

Superhero.

Second, IRON MAN CAN FLY!

Why are you going around on roller skates when you can just frickin fly?

The funniest part is that apparently Tony built these to be used in the military, and

the idea of a bunch of commandos scooting along the road on roller skates is just too

much.

Top 10 People Who Want To Be FROZEN - Duration: 6:27.

Hello.

Welcome back to most amazing top ten, a channel where we often cover the weird and wonderful

areas of life.

I am Rebecca Felgate….

And today we are talking about the Top 10 People Who Want To Be FROZEN….so….those

of you watching in the distant future…let me know how this goes?

10 - Britney Spears In 2010, British Newspaper, The Sun, made

viral headlines when they printed that Britney wanted to be frozen.

Reportedly, Britney thought that Walt Disney had been preserved – although she soon found

out it was a myth.

None the less, it got her researching and she decided that it might be for her!

She also looked into having her ashes turned into diamonds, but in the end she thought

she might prefer to get a chance to live in the future.

9 - Paul Rudd PAUL!

In 2011 Paul was approached for a project with Zach Helm and Errol Morris, who wanted

him to star in a movie called Freezing People is Easy, which hasn't yet come about but

apparently is in the pipeline.

The movie is going to be about the first Cryopreserved human, James Bedford, although there isn't

yet a release date.

Paul in theory will be playing Bedford, and according to sources close to the Antman star,

it has given him inspiration to consider the process for himself.

8 - Lucy Liu She may have been joking, but when speaking

to fashion guru Simon Doonan, she said..When I die I wish to be cryogenically frozen in

Nan Kempner's closet.

And when I wake up, I can choose from her incredible collection.

That would be wonderful."

Fair enough!

7 - Seth Macpharlane There is already a weird conspiracy theory

that Seth was frozen in the 60s and defrosted in the 90s…. but we'll leave that one

there.

Seth was speaking to our number 6 on this list and agreed he might like to be frozen…

which of course brings us to his discussion partner….

Larry King at number 6 The whole frozen topic came about as Larry

King had a dinner party on TV; CNN Presents: A Larry king Special, Dinner with the Kings….

Present at the dinner was his wife, Shawn, his mate MacFarlane, Tyra Banks, Conan O'Brien,

Shaquille O'Neal, Jack Dorsey, Quincy Jones and Russell Brand.

During part of the dinner, King said "I want to be frozen on the hope that they'll

find whatever I died of and bring me back".

Fair.

A person rumoured to be frozen, at number 5 we have Muhammed Ali

Sadly Muhammed Ali passed away in 2016, but it is thought that prior to his death, he

was fascinated with cryogenics.

According to an article in the Seattle times, he visited a Cryonics lab at UC Berkley in

1988….with one scientists saying that it was only a matter of time before he signs

up for the procedure…so maybe there is more than meets the eye to his death and that maybe

one day, he will be known by a future generation!

Frozen can mean many things, so we that in mind, we have added Olivia Munn at number

4 on this list.

To be frozen means winning – or at least stalling a battle with the clock.

A lot of celebrities have decided to freeze their eggs, meaning they will be able to have

children later in life.

Among these celebrities is Tv host and X Men star, Olivia Munn.

37 year old Munn had her eggs frozen when she turned 35.

She said I think that every girl should do it.

For one, you don't have to race the clock any more.

You don't have to worry about it, worry about your job or anything.

It's there."

A lady who wants to be there for 3 - Paris Hilton

Paris allegedly visited and invested in the Cryogenic Institute, a suspended animation

cemetery in Mississippi.

Reportedly, she also wants her dog frozen too.

Musing about the procedure, she said – "it's so cool.

"Almost all the cells in the body are still alive when death is pronounced.

And if you're immediately cooled, you can be perfectly preserved.

My life could be extended by hundreds and thousands of years."

Woah.

2 - Simon Cowell Well, I mean, obviously.

If there is someone who is going to live forever and transcend the generations, surely it will

be our mate Simon Cowell, pioneering new musical talent and persisting with high waisted fashion

for the rest of eternity.

You gotta love Mr Cowell's persistence!

Apparently he made the revelation as to his future wishes at a dinner in 2009 with the

then British Prime Minister, Gordon Brown.

Finally… this list should actually be called the top 1 thousand 600 and 9 people who want

to be frozen….and you're about to find out why…at number 1, we have 1600 people

signed up with Alcor.

Yeah, I am guessing they still want to be frozen…for them I guess silence is compliance.

Alcor Life Extension Foundation is a cryonics organization founded in 1972.

These are the people that can and will freeze you….

But it will cost you…

upwards of 200 and 20 thousand dollars to be precise.

Approximately 1,600 people signed up to be frozen with Alcor, and around 150 are currently

frozen, including baseball player Ted Williams .

So…that was the top ten people who want to be frozen….. which is pretty eye opening!

Welcome back beautiful and amazing human beings. I just went through a major earthquake here

in Acapulco Mexico that occurred near Mexico City. The shock waves shook this entire house

and pretty much scared the crap out of me and everyone else here. It looks like everyone�s

fine here in Acapulco.

The show must go on. There�s a lot of incredibly important developments that we are going to

get into in this video. Including the latest news with Venezuela, Syria, Iran, Israel,

and Russia. As well as the United States where there are some missing CIA files. We give

you the latest update on the tyranny from not only the banksters but also our favorite

monopoly intelligence agencies. Those same institutions that backed Google.

I hate to tell you �I told you so� but, �I told you so.� A few days ago not only

on my Twitter account and YouTube I warned you about the consequences of Venezuela�s

latest move. Their decision to stop accepting US dollars for oil payments. They are moving

towards the dropping the U.S. Petrodollar.

In response a few days ago I said, �I would expect the regime change in Venezuela soon

because of this move.� This, of course, was very easy to predict if you understand

American foreign policy.

The concept of the US petrodollar hegemony and Donald Trump has now stated that the US

is ready to intervene in Venezuela. Trump made extreme statements today saying that

he is preparing to take future action in Venezuela. He ultimately threatened that country because

as he said they�re delivering only anguish and failure to their people. Donald Trump

wants a �full restoration of democracy.� Hmmm. Restoration of democracy and freedom

where have I heard that before?

Do you see the propaganda that�s being used against you to sell more intervention to overthrow

governments and bring about more war? There�s a reason myself and other experts can predict

regime change. I don�t have a magic 8-Ball but I know how American foreign policy works

and that�s why they�re selling you on these lies. You don�t see Donald Trump on

the stage of the United Nations talking about the suffering of the people in Saudi Arabia,

Yemen or countless other countries. He is doing this for greater geopolitical goals

and is lying to you about it. If you understood it, you wouldn�t be for intervention or

possible conflict. We will keep a close eye on that story and any developments.

Venezuela was not the only target for Donald Trump at the United Nations today. Trump came

off like John McCain 2.0 where he went after other countries like Iran and North Korea.

He also discussed those pesky terrorists that the United States keeps creating and that

Trump said he would stop arming. He is still secretly doing so through the Pentagon.

He is still talking about how America comes first even though we are over twenty trillion

in debt. All while we continue to fund terrorists around the world at U.S. Tax Dollar expense.

This makes my head spin. These people lie through their teeth and have ultimate screwed

all of us and our future. We will be indebted to the war machine.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu congratulated Donald Trump on his speech.

He and said, �That in over his 30 years and experience with United Nations he has

never heard a bolder and more courageous speech.� Which of course works perfectly for the greater

political goals of the unholy alliance of Israel, Saudi Arabia, and the United States.

Israel just fired a US Patriot missile that is worth a million dollars at a drone that

was allegedly flown by Hezbollah. While all of this is happening the situation in Syria

is becoming more chaotic and unpredictable.

In Syria, there is a proxy war between Russia, China, Iran versus Israel, Saudi Arabia, and

the United States. This proxy war is happening now and has been for months.

It�s escalating to very dangerous proportions as we saw a couple of days ago where the Russian

Air Force attacked U.S. backed Syrian rebels. An estimated 900 U.S. troops are embedded

with the Syrian opposition forces.

The Syrian Army is making progress taking back their country along with the Russian

Air Force assisting them. However, they are indirectly coming into a conflict with American

forces.

Just days ago we saw the Israeli military attack Syrian government forces. Now they

are setting up large military drills. The most important in the last 20 years establishing

their forces on the Syrian border. This is happening right now. It�s not just them

but also Turkey who wants a piece of the pie. Turkey just deployed over 80 military vehicles

including tanks and soldiers on very strategic pieces of land. Land that Turkey wants to

control. It�s important to note as we recently reported that Turkey a NATO Ally has flip-flopped

by cooperating with Russia on the future of Syria.

We see Israel strategically support an independent Kurdistan State. They have officially backed

their independence along with the United States. This has the potential to Balkanize Syria.

Divide and conquer and take more land from Bashar al-Assad. It would create a separate

state in the region and help Israel along with the United States and Saudi Arabia battle

the Iranian influence.

This is why NATO has flip-flopped and is now cooperating with the Kurds because they have

had a long history of disputes with the Turkish government. With Israel and the United States

supporting the Kurds. Turkey has therefore pivoted towards Russia in this proxy war.

This is just part of this very confusing battleground that we are seeing with all of these countries

and world powers trying to get more control over the Syrian region. A country which is

a very oil-rich.

We�re seeing Turkey wanting a piece of Syria along with Israel wanting the Golan Heights.

We�re seeing them supporting another state outside of Syria, and all of this as Russia

and China are backing the Syrian government. While the United States along with Saudi Arabia

and Israel support the rebel groups in that region that are fighting alongside radical

Islamic terrorists. They hope to Balkanize that region to create more conflict and further

war. We have seen escalating throughout the years. That�s a very confusing situation,

but I hope I simplified it for you.

It�s not just the Middle East we have to worry about as we�re finding out that the

United States is sending yet another aircraft carrier to the Korean Peninsula. This will

create more tensions with the Chinese. It�s clear that President Donald Trump�s agenda

and his foreign policy are not America first and more people are becoming disenfranchised.

It�s a continuation of the same policies of George W. Bush and Barack Obama.

It�s even reaching a bigger level since he is increasing military spending and becoming

what he swore he would never do. He has become a �John McCain Lite� since his talking

points today are almost identical to that of John McCain. It�s not just happening

with the war machine it�s also happening with domestic policy. Particularly those policies

of the big Banks. Ann Coulter even said that Bush only had three Goldman Sachs people,

but Donald Trump has six.

Those same Goldman Sachs officials that Donald Trump rallied against when he was running

to be president of this country. He is now giving them whatever they want while the middle

class of this country is destroyed and the average person is being programmed to hate

each other. They never look at the bigger financial crimes that are happening in this

country. Crimes that are robbing the wealth away from us. They are indebting our children.

In other banksters related news, we have JPMorgan and Chase who came out calling Bitcoin a fraud

but yet these companies still handle Bitcoin-related trades. Demonstrating the ultimate hypocrisy

and manipulative frauds they are. They, of course, have no moral or ethical background

which shouldn�t be a surprise to you.

In totally unrelated news we have WikiLeaks coming out today and publishing details on

the Russians governments increasingly repressive internet surveillance industry. They have

exposed how the Russian government spy on their own citizens. Including very important

files that you can find here.

In other horrible tech news, Google is intensifying its censorship of left-leaning websites those

predominately anti-war. While at the same time they�re also hiring a thousand journalists

to flood newsrooms all around America. This shows just how effective real independent

media is having. Especially after the latest public relations debacles that Google went

through. Whether Google is firing their employees or censoring search results and websites,

they have been getting a lot of bad press. They are ramping up their media presence by

sending over a thousand Google hired journalists to local newsrooms all around the country.

Real news and information are vital. It is the number one asset to any company or government.

If they lose control of the narrative, then people will find out about their lies and

sinister deeds. They�re worried their entire Empire will crumble. It is entirely dependent

on people using them and trusting them. This is the reason why we�re seeing a journalistic

offensive by Google right now because in this day and age information is the strongest weapon

out there.

This week we�re finding out that an entire volume of CIA files on Lee Harvey Oswald that

were supposed to be released days from now has gone missing. If you don�t know who

Lee Harvey Oswald was he was the patsy, sorry, I meant the alleged mastermind and murderer

behind the assassination of U.S. President John F. Kennedy. I�m surprised the government

agency has lost more secret files surrounding the highly controversial death of a U.S. president.

A death that is surrounded by conspiracy theories and where there are many holes in the official

story. It�s very convenient of the CIA to have made such a �mistake.�
