Z Plus 2 by Vertigo: A Closer Look - Duration: 1:06.

The Z Plus.

Cute little lighter.

Kind of a nice, small, pocketable size.

This is a double flame lighter.

It does not have a large fuel tank. and you have to remove the insert to refill it.

But you can see exactly how much fuel is in it.

So, double flame, gives you a little more precision...

as you can see, the flames tend to converge to give you very precise heat.

The Z Plus is available on our website: www.dynavap.com/dynashop/accessories

Xiaomi Mi Note 3 Unboxing & Hands-on Review - It's Really The Mi 6 Plus - Duration: 16:03.

so I've just wrapped up my video of the Xiaomi Mi mix 2 - which is in the

background here to check my channel if you want to see the review of that one

but now it is the Mi Note 3's turn here so this is their new model that

really looks to me like our larger Mi 6 it really is almost the same got the

same camera module the design of it looks the same better the course is

powered by a Snapdragon 660 so this unit here I got from gearbest

and it came as you can see with DHL the packaging here but look at this I got

stung with sixty and nine euros almost 70 euros there intact so beware that

when using DHL they have become horrendous here in Spain lately holding

things taxing things it's a document fee that is really does completely over

there just overdoing it really well how much they are charging on that so good

to see that it is a double box here so hopefully it has no damage because the

bag itself from DHL looks a little bit beat up and also wrapped up in bubble

wrap so this is really well protected here hopefully this has the seal on it

but I can see they've put their own seals on this one so if you know aware

of the specs it has the snapdragon 616 with a maximum turbo of 2.2 gigahertz

that's an octa-core and it has 6 gigabytes of RAM 64 gigabytes of storage

or 128 this is the 64 gigabyte model it's got bluetooth 5 wireless AC dual

SIM and as I mentioned there in the start the design is a lot like the me 6

and I can see that already so I'm just going to put the phone to the side for a

second or have a look at the included accessories so we have a white type-c

cable and then our quick charger now that is rated to 12 volts or 1.5 amps

and they include a Type C - 3.5 millimeter adapter here which is

annoying they should have just left that 3.5

millimeter jack alone. Now I can see like the Mi Mix and the Mi Mix 2 - they have

included a case which is good this is just obviously the instructions are not

there's the sim tool that is all in Chinese so I'm not even going to bother

with that and it's exactly like the me sixes case in fact

think this phone should have been called the me six plus so it ships here with

this transit screen protector you can't actually use it with this on there

because the screen will look all blurry with it so get that off and there is

also another one on the rear so the phone weighs in at a hundred and sixty

four grams and comes in at a thin seven point seven millimeters thick now if I

accidentally call the note three the Mi 6 plus you'll see why this is Mi

six and they exactly the same this is just a larger version of it because we

had remember the me five s and then the Mi 5S Plus and this I believe was

going to be the me six plus but of course it didn't turn out to be in the

end they decided they would rename it I said no it's gonna be the night but to

me this isn't really a note because the note had the curved edged screen with

that OLED panel on it but this doesn't say five point five inches five point

one and yes my Mi 6 has seen better days. So along

the front of the note three you'll find the front-facing fingerprint reader type

C port loudspeaker microphone and you can just make out the two antenna lines

there along the front you can see we do have two point five D class now

according to some sources its Gorilla Glass 4 it could actually be dragon tail

there's no real way of telling this and there shall we come out and just say out

out right yes it is dragon tail and we have got a 16 megapixel sensor this is

new and it does have some beautifying features and all that kind of gimmicky

stuff but I'll cover that later on in this video the earpiece of course and

then next to that about here there should be a notification LED and on the

very top secondary microphone here for noise cancellation and used in video the

IR transmitter and sadly of course no 3.5 millimeter headphone port then along

the top we've got one antenna line there's another one exactly in the same

place on the other side the volume button and power button they have a good

feel to them they're made out of metal and they do not rattle the sim tray is

on the left and it takes two nano Sims and overall this build quality feels

excellent exactly the same as the me 6 it's really well put together

now doesn't have any splash resistance at all so what do you do don't go

testing that like I did with the me 6 and if you're wondering about that case

it's just a cheaper TPU style one so nothing amazing and already showing

fingerprints like crazy there it does protect the camera when you put it

facedown on a table at least and the buttons as well are protected but it's

nothing like the quality of the case that I got here with the me mix - this

is made out of a hard plastic and I actually prefer this model over this one

so next to the mimics - here you can see that the note actually turns out to be

about the exact same height there which is interesting considering that the

mixed who has a 5.9 inch screen and this is 5.5 inches but of course it doesn't

have that really nice screen to bezel ratio body ratio that the mimics - does

alright the initial setup here so these screen looks quite bright at the moment

it's actually been overexposed a little bit my current camera settings so go

through the setup English or then of course you've got all the Asian

languages there that's all that's on this at the moment until we get the

global ROM which hopefully will be out in about a month or so so we'll connect

this up later on to why let's check for any updates they might have pushed out

some OTAs bio for this just skip that step but I'm interested in setting up my

fingerprint so place your finger on the front there of course and have to do

this ten times I think it is just move your thumb slightly or finger done and

go with that default theme so that is now set up reasonably quick so the

screen looks at this point hard to say that yeah it's definitely that's not an

OLED panel no that's LCD well IPS sorry and I'm gonna lock it here will unlock

it that was almost instantaneous that is very quick I've come to expect the

fingerprint readers now I show meas devices to be very fast I mean even the

readme series those ones are really quick that is lightning fast okay so I

connected up to the Internet and yes already there is an update which has

quite a large one 1.4 gigabytes to basically fix some bugs

so I finished updating the phone and the security patch level you can see there

is now from the 1st of August which is good and it is Android version 7.1.1

and you'll see there free available space is 52 gigabytes

now just a little tip here if you are an early adopter like myself then you won't

have the global ROM yet but in order to get Google Play Store on here it's not

actually that hard just go into the me app so that's the meze App Store and

then search Google and this will pop up here the first one on here is in fact

the Google Play installer so open this run through it you've got to be

connected up to wireless or a network and that will install Google Play

services it'll install the framework contact sync and once you have that all

set up now you have to enable this to the unknown sources so once that is all

set up then you will have Google Play on your mobile so the IPS panel is a JDI

and you can see the camera information as well so the main camera sensor is an

AMX 386 but the auxilary sensor isn't it's a Samsung sensor this you can have

a look on in the internet Google that one and find out more specs about that

sensor and then that 16 megapixel front-facing sensor also looks to be a

samsung so the hardware navigation keys down the bottom are backlit with just a

tiny little dot either side you can see there and clearing the memory we get

about 4 gigabytes of that 6 gigabytes free so ran and to to here because I was

curious to see what kind of score these snapdragon 616 gets because I've never

actually used it before this is the first time and you can see it's a yeah

it's a little bit behind is Snapdragon 805 which I have in the next two here

you can see the main difference there is that GPU so the Adreno 540 is a lot

faster than the 512 so gang like the me 6 the earpiece also doubles as a

loudspeaker here transmitting sound forward to you which is great and then

it comes out of the bottom here so let's have a listen to it

mm okay that wasn't actually very good at all it's not very loud they need to

update this software on that I assume this has probably got the exact same

hardware as the me six and that is a lot louder than this as here so

disappointing loudspeaker so far so I had a couple of issues getting Google

Playstore to run what happened was it was just sitting there saying checking

info and what I ended up doing is restoring a backup that I have on my

website that I've used on previous devices for example like the me6 that

actually then worked in the end so you move it over to your internal storage

and then you need to go through the backup system which is any additional

settings here then you go along and find backup and reset and then I have under

local backups here the files with April there and once I restored that then

Google Play was working for me and now on to the dual rear camera so just again

like Tim he sings it's exactly the same here we've got the option to change to

the auxilary sensor which then has that two times optical zoom now this sensor

does not have any optical image stabilization and it cannot be used in

video again like to me six you probably hear me saying that a lot so the options

we get here manual mode you've got quite a few settings that you can tweak so

white balance focus exposure time ISO and then of course you can select which

lens you want they call it a wide lens or then the tele but it's not really a

wide lens it's just more like a standard lens they've got on there now into video

mode here you'll see get again we are missing 1080p 60 frames per second is

not here so we have only 4k 1080p standard HD and if you ever look here

that it is continual autofocus mode is set by default so I'm gonna take a few

sample pictures now this is just to get a preview of what kind of quality we can

expect here from these two sensors and of course that 16 megapixel front-facing

sensor as well

4k sample now now you cannot use the two times optical lens on this because well

you probably wouldn't want to anyway because it doesn't have optical image

stabilization so as you can see this is quite steady that's a little bit of wind

so you know that you hear quite a bit of wind noise at the moment quality seems

pretty much the same as the me six to me audio codec bitrate needs to be improved

and there are sometimes issues with the focus which is currently on continued

autofocus mode now it is struggling with these conditions here because the

background there is well let the sounds going down so not easy capture such a

small sensor let's look at the front-facing camera now so the

front-facing camera is now 16 megapixels that's an increase over the typical v we

normally see I think the aperture is if 2.2 on this

now I'm not in direct sunlight it's an overcast day we've got clouds in the

background there you can see and due to that I can't really test out if it's

going to be over exposing my face like the mix to did that I just recently

finished reviewing that seem to have a bit of an issue there in bright light

bright conditions it would over expose but here it seems to be quite good this

quality I think it's 1080p okay so that's just

the first impressions they're an unboxing of the note 3 or should I say

me 6 plus because that's basically what it is it is this phone right here just a

larger version of it they are almost identical when it comes to things like

the cameras the performance of it seems very similar now the GPU on the me 6 is

faster because it's got the audrina 540 this has the 512 and when you saw those

scores there with antutu there's a noticeable difference but using it the

ROM feels just as fast the CPU score is actually quite similarly with the

octa-core 2.2 gigahertz maximum turbo so so far there's a lot of positives here

the screen is nice the fingerprint unlocking is basically instantly it's

really good you don't have to wait at first and then unlock it unlocks and

wakes literally within seconds there which was great to see now camera

performance it's early days to comment on that I want to use it a little bit

more take some more photos but it's looking like it will take a very good

photo in good light low light I don't think it's going to be up to other

flagships no video quality and notice that sometimes the focus is not quite a

hundred percent there just say a problem that's plaguing charmese phones for

years now and also that audio bitrate it's way too low they need to increase

that it sounds like it's got a bit of an agressive noise cancellation also coming

into play there but overall they've got a lot of optimization to do if they just

focus for once on their cameras and really they're promoting this as being a

camera orientated phone it's all about the camera so the designs great build

quality is great screens great battery life of course I'll have to find that

out and charge times once I use this for a week or so I also wanted to comment on

the price I think it's a little bit too expensive at the moment for a snapdragon

662 vise it should be a bit cheaper even though we do have of course that premium

build the cameras off than me six thank you so much for watching this hands-on

and unboxing here I do hope to catch you back in the channel with the final full

review of this model and if you are interested in the mix - which was

featured in the start of this video and I do have that full review also online

now on my channel so check that out if you're interested and if you do have any

Xiaomi Mi A1 vs iPhone 7 Plus Camera Comparison - Duration: 6:28.

"Music"

Hey Guys its Sagar from Tecworkz.

I know you have already read the title of this video, and most of you are really mad

and furious at me for even making this comparison.

I would have not made this video, if this slide was not shown in the A1's launch event.

To top it off, they spent another 5 minuets comparing the images from the A1 with the

OnePlus 5 and the iPhone 7 Plus.

So its only fair that we put their claims to test in this video.

In one of my other videos, I compared the camera of the Mi A1 and the OnePlus 5, if

you want to watch it, I will leave a card to it on the top right corner of the screen

and also link it in the description section.

Alright ,now lets put Xiaomi's claims to the test.

But before we do that, make sure to hit the subscribe button, so you don't miss out on

any of the amazing videos coming up on this channel.

Quickly getting the specifications out of the way.

Mi A1 packs in dual 12 megapixel cameras with phase detect autofocus and dual tone flash.

One of the camera, has a regular 26mm wide angle lens with f/2.2 aperture, while the

other has a 50mm telephoto lens with an aperture of f/2.6.

There is no stabilisation on either of these cameras.

iPhone 7 Plus also sports a 12 megapixel dual camera setup.

The first camera has a 28mm wide lens with f/1.8 aperture.

While the 2nd one has a 56mm lens with an aperture of f/2.8.

You get optical image stabilisation on the wide camera, but the telephoto lens lacks

that feature.

At front, the Mi A1 has a 5 megapixel camera with f/2.0 aperture, while the iPhone 7 Plus

has 7 megapixel camera with F/2.2 Aperture.

The dual cameras on both these phones have similar functions.

You can choose between either of the cameras while clicking images.

They also allows you to take images with depth effect, by simultaneously gathering information

from both the cameras.

On the A1, for some reason, you don't have the option of switching to the telephoto lens

while shooting videos, which you can do on the iPhone 7 Plus.

Now that we know the function of dual cameras on both these smartphones, lets take a look

at some of the sample images and videos that I took with them.

As with all smartphone cameras, both of these capture good images in bright light.

Colours are extremely accurate from the iPhone in any lighting conditions, while the Mi A1

tries to capture cooler colour tones.

In some shots like this, white balance from the Mi A1 is way off.

Here are shots from both the cameras with HDR mode turned off, and now the same shots

with HDR turned on.

One from the Mi A1 has a green tint, which doesn't look that good, in my opinion.

Here's another example, and I like the one from the iPhone, since it brought back a lot

of details in the highlights.

A1 can take good close up shots, but thanks to the wider aperture on the iPhone, background

in its images is blurred out lot more.

Thanks to the telephoto lens on both the phones, you can take images like this, without having

to cropping in or any loss in image quality.

With the telephoto lens you also have the option to shoot portrait images.

Now Xiaomi is very confident of this feature on their phone, and rightly so, the A1 takes

very good portrait images.

Skin tones and colours from the iPhone are clearly better in these shots, but the A1

has done a commendable job for the price that it comes in.

But as soon as you start taking portrait images in low or artificial light, A1 really struggles

a lot.

As the light goes down, we start seeing a clear difference between the images from both

these phones.

iPhone again captures true and better colours, and having optical image stabilisation helps

capturing sharper detailed images.

The A1 lacks any sort of stabilisation, and has a narrower aperture, so it cranks up the

ISO to make the images brighter, but that also introduces noise in the images.

As I said before, the low light images from the iPhone are much sharper and detailed in

this comparison.

Thera is much less noise in the images from the iPhone and the overall images look a lot

better.

The 7 megapixel front facing camera on the iPhone again captures more details and better

skin tones.

Coming to the video performance.

if you saw any of my previous videos about the camera of the A1, you already know that

the video from it is extremely shaky, and doesn't look very good.

iPhone 7 Plus on the other hand is one of my favourite smartphones when it comes to

taking videos.

Both the phones can take slow motion videos.

A1 can take 12ofps slow motion video at 720p resolution, whereas 7 Plus can shoot similar

frame rate in 1080p resolution.

Lot of people are having some issue with the slow motion recording on A1, I had similar

issue while playing back this footage on the phone.

But when I moved the video to the computer to include in this video, the video played

normally.

Again it is choppy and not as good as the one on the iPhone 7 Plus.

There are a lot of problems with the camera of the A1 on the video side, and I can only

hope that Xiaomi fixes that soon.

So the iPhone is a clear winner at video, and also has a better overall camera.

It delivers great results in most lighting conditions, captures better contrast and dynamic

range, and the video it produces is amazingly smooth, all of this is expected from a flagship

device.

But the camera performance of the Mi A1 is also noteworthy, specially while taking portrait

shots.

It struggles in lower lighting situations and while taking videos, but considering the

fact that it comes at just Rs.15,000, there is not a lot to complain here.

Coming back to this slide, yes the Mi A1 has dual cameras and so does the iPhone 7 Plus.

But as we saw in this video, not all dual cameras are similar.

Xiaomi could have easily got away, if they had compared these cameras with the others

in the same price range.

All being said, I am happily surprised at the camera performance of the Mi A1.

Add to it the fact, that you can buy 4 Mi A1 smartphones at the cost of one iPhone 7

Plus.

Definitely check out my other videos, where I compare this camera with that of the OnePlus

5 and the Moto G5S Plus.

So what are your thoughts about the camera on these devices.
