Otto Warmier's Parents Say He Was 'Howling,' 'Jerking Violently' After North Korea Release: 'They Destroyed Him'

The parents of Otto Warmbier — the college student who was detained for 17 months in North Korea then died days after he returned home in a coma — called the country "terrorists" for capturing and torturing their son.

In their first interview since their son's June death, Fred and Cindy Warmbier said they felt the need to speak out in the wake of the country's threats against President Donald Trump and the United States.

"But now we see North Korea claiming to be a victim and that the world is picking on them and we're here to tell you: North Korea is not a victim.

They're terrorists," Fred said on Fox and Friends Tuesday morning.

"They kidnapped Otto. They tortured him.

They intentionally injured him.

They are not victims.".

The parents described seeing Otto for the first time after he was captured.

Although they knew he had suffered brain damage, Fred and Cindy were hopeful that the right medical care could help him.

However, they quickly learned the terrifying extent of his injuries.

After a medical team boarded the plane that carried Otto back to the U.S., his family was allowed to see him.

The University of Virginia student let out a "howling, involuntary, inhuman" sound that sent his mother and sister running from the aircraft.

Fred said his son was blind and deaf.

Otto was "jerking violently" on a stretcher with a feeding tube out of his nose, and his mouth looked as through "someone had taken a pair of pliers and rearranged his bottom teeth.".

"They destroyed him," Cindy said.

It was hard for Otto's family to see their son after being neglected and abused.

"Our image of Otto, as you know, was of someone just wonderful, beautiful inside and out.

And to see how he came home was too much for us," Cindy explained.

"I almost passed out but I got it together, and I rode in the ambulance with him, 'cause I did not want him to be alone anymore.

He'd been alone for way too long.

And we stayed with him and loved him as best as we could.".

Fred stated that North Korea should be listed as a state sponsor of terror.

"It was astounding to Cindy and I to discover that North Korea is not listed as a state sponsor of terror," he said.

"We owe it to the world to list North Korea as a state sponsor of terror.".

Trump gave his approval of the interview on Twitter.

"Great interview on @foxandfriends with the parents of Otto Warmbier: 1994 – 2017.

Otto was tortured beyond belief by North Korea.".

What was that? That face.

You're adorable.

Effortless but chic.

Natural, easy wear.

I suppose

it's about feeling good about yourself.

If you can go to sleep feeling happy,

that's all that matters.

I look different today.

Isn't it strange?

Sometimes, things don't work out

the more you try.

Perhaps it's because you're trying too hard.

RECYCLING

I want to play too.

I was here first.

-You should wait your turn. -You lose!

You ruined my game!

How's the game?

-You get to play one game. -Okay.

-You can't tell Mom about this. -Okay.

I should get going.

Do what comes naturally.

Don't try too hard.

Do as your heart desires.

-Do you like steamed buns? -What?

That would be a lot more charming.

Do you want to eat together?

I want to repay you for the buns, as a friend.

Well...

As a friend of a friend, and...

So, who was first? - Duration: 4:26.

good a achievers welcome back so today I've got a little bit of history on the

DIY power wall sink contrary to popular belief I wasn't the first one to do a

DIY power wall neither was Jehu and our names get thrown around a lot as the first

people to do it but the fact of the matter is there's a few people that

never had them up and running before I even had mine planned so let's get into

that shall we first of all the first documented power

wall work I can find on youtube and I could be wrong I mean let's face it

YouTube have been place if you can find an earlier activity of someone building

a DIY power wall please let me know the first one I can find is Chris viral link

below and I found his on the October the 5th 2015

so he's the earliest one I can find that actually started doing a powell and his

father he's building it not him Christa's documented it and used it in

several of his vlogs and basically he built a 40 kilowatt hour power wall now

he did build it at a 8 insisted at 18 650s and a few other chemistry's but

primarily it sat in 650s there so that's the first DIY power walls that I knew of

that sort of existed and then we've got me I was next on YouTube on the 17th of

October 2015 and obviously that was my very first video I put out there saying

I wanted to use these cells with my old Pitt two-four two-four HS wasn't I think

it was the HS anyway I was upgrading I needed something to upgrade to from my

my lead acid bank back in the early days and then of course we've got Jay who on

about December the 25th with his $300 deorro Powell now I know he was working

on that a week or two before that video was a release so that's a vague date but

it says that I was doing my DIY power wall before he's did his in my mind

anyway I had it on YouTube that must make it proper

except I wasn't really a real youtuber back then and Jehu kind of was anyway

doesn't matter moving forward I was there first and then we've got DIY UK

DIY Powell big green one now that was April 23rd 2016 but I know

for a fact that that was working before October the year before so he may not

have been a hundred percent buttoned up but it was definitely finished and

definitely commissioned first thrall it's probably the second one I do think

Chris virals dad's was the first ones but there you go that's my take on the

history of DIY power walls that definitely was the first but I really

have enjoyed being a part of it from the very early stages if you do know of

anybody that's been like has a documented history before then let me

know below it'd be cool to sort of work out who was that who was genuinely the

first to to do this whole process I also like where it's heading I love the fact

that we're getting more focused on a little bit of safety there tends to be a

name there seems to be this undertone of everything we do has got to be coming

back to is it stupid I guess it may not be out now safe but we not not be in a

part of the world of the country that has that financial capability of doing

it right I guess that some thought is going into it and it's growing and it's

getting bigger and it's getting done better so I'm stoked to see where this

will go I'm stoked to see what yous guys are

gonna come up with I'm happy as a pig and shit with the way the forum and the

Facebook's is going with all everybody contributing and bouncing ideas off each

other and it's just it's just growing and now with Jay who actually finishing

a project is shortly a Lobos own power wall running which will be exciting to

see but anyway tubers that's a really simple

one a whole bunch of links below if you like it do that if you don't like it

don't do that I'll see some legs on shears

'I was goaded into it': The X-rated scenes stars regret

Nude scenes can certainly be daunting, and if you're famous enough, you can even employ a body double to take your place in steamy scenarios.

Younger, lesser-known stars, however, rarely have that choice, and are often pressured to do whatever it takes to get the scene right.

Many young actors will do just about anything they're told to try to break out in the industry, and years later, much more famous, they regret having shown so much skin so early on in their careers.

From Oscar-winners to rom-com superstars, many stars now wish they hadn't been so eager to bare it all. Whether in a moment of jest or in a steamy scene, sometimes, all that nudity ends up being not entirely necessary.

These are A-listers who have now come to regret their most revealing moments, even if they continue to do them now (for the right script, that is). The TV star says she felt "goaded into" one particularly revealing nude scene.

While Parker got down and dirty on many occasions over the course of Weeds' 8 seasons, she admits she felt pressured into appearing fully nude in a bathtub in Season 4.

"I didn't think I needed to be naked, and I fought with the director about it, and now I'm bitter," she told More magazine.

"I knew it was going to be on the internet: 'Mary-Louise Parker shows off her big nipples.' I wish I hadn't done that. I was goaded into it.". Natalie Portman, Hotel Chevalier.

Natalie Portman said she was angry her nude scene ended up on porn sites.

While Portman has later back-peddled on some of the comments she made about her fully nude scene in Wes Anderson's short film Hotel Chevalier, she initially said that she was sorry "she didn't listen to her intuition" and would "trust her gut more" going forward.

Later, she told MTV News that she doesn't "really have regrets", but "It's more that I don't like misappropriation of stuff, like when you create something as part of a story and then a piece of it ends up on a porn site.

It's meant to be a dramatic scene and part of a story. That really makes me angry.". Sharon Stone, Basic Instinct.

The only scene anyone remembers from Basic Instinct. Source:Supplied. That infamous white dress scene? Turns out Stone had no idea that was going down until the movie was up on the big screen.

"When we did it, it was going to be an innuendo and the director said, 'We're seeing the white of your underwear, I need you to take them off.' And I'm like, 'I don't want you to see anything and he's like, 'No, no you're not going to.'," she recalled.

"When I saw it in the theatre, with a bunch of other people, I was like (in shock).

When the film ended I went in the booth and I slapped him (Verhoeven) and I said, 'You could have showed me this to me by myself'.". Dakota Johnson, 50 Shades of Grey.

Dakota famously wouldn't let her parents watch her in this film. Probably for the best.Source:Supplied. Johnson has certainly never shied away from baring it all, but filming the infamous 50 Shades BDSM scenes was less than enjoyable for the actress.

She spent hours tied up and pretending to be struck with a whip and told Time that it was "emotionally taxing". It wasn't "a sensual or pleasurable environment," she said.

"It was really hot — not in a steamy, sexual way. It's just sweaty and not very uncomfortable.".

Winslet appeared nude in one of Titanic's most memorable scenes. Source:Supplied.

Winslet has certainly gone on to do her fair share of nude scenes, but she admits she took it all off for the infamous "draw me like one of your French girls" scene because of feeling insecure.

"I wish I hadn't shown so much flesh but I was young and I knew I had things to prove.".

Lawrence and co-star Chris Pratt had to film a steamy sex scene in Passengers. Source:Supplied.

While Lawrence doesn't necessarily regret the sex scene (her first!) she shared with Chris Pratt, she does regret getting drunk beforehand to ease her nerves about doing the scene with the married Pratt.

"I got really, really drunk," she told The Hollywood Reporter. "But then that led to more anxiety when I got home because I was like, 'What have I done? I don't know.". Halle Berry, Monster's Ball.

Berry's Oscar-winning role in the gritty 2002 film Monster's Ball included nudity and sex scenes.

Berry doesn't regret the nudity that her Oscar-winning Monster's Ball performance called for in some very down and dirty scenes, but she doesn't think that it's a necessity. ""I don't think nudity is ever necessary.

I think you can make every single movie and never show anything and it's fine. I think it's a choice you make, and it was a bold choice on my part.". Emilia Clarke, Game of Thrones.

Emilia Clarke in the role of Daenerys Targaryen from the seventh season of Game of Thrones.

The Mother of Dragons has certainly warmed up to the idea of nudity on the notoriously racy show, but she waited for what she felt was the right moment before she bared it all — and instantly regretted telling her parents to watch it.

"My parents said, 'We're watching the show, but darling, you're not doing much this season!' I said, 'Well, watch this one.

Watch tonight,' and they were trying to get spoilers out of me and on and on, so I sat them down and said, 'Let's watch it!' and then instantly regretted it. My dad's like, 'Again?'". Jessica Brown Findlay, Albatross.

The Downtown Abbey star regrets this scene from the film Albatross. Source:Supplied.

Now famous for her roles on Downton Abbey and Harlots, Findlay has some regrets about a topless scene she did for a film called Albatross. "To be honest, Albatross was naivete and not knowing that I could say no.

I had no idea what was going to happen and thought I was going to be shot from behind. It's not something I would do again.".
