MP5 vs MP5K, which is better to buy? - Duration: 10:39.

Welcome back to my channel! Today I'm going to compare and contrast an MP5,

on the bottom there, and an MP5K-PDW, which is on the top. I'm gonna let you guys

know my thoughts about them and which one I prefer.

SLAP IT LIKE A RED-HEADED STEPCHILD!!!

For an MP5K, I purchased a Zenith Z5-P. I purchased it directly from

their website... I ordered it on a Tuesday and it came on a Friday, so that's not too shabby!

This came as a pistol originally and I made some part changes...

It has a folding stock, a Dakota handguard

and I'm running a red dot on a B&T low mount.

For an MP5 I have a Zenith Z5-RS.

I got this a few months after purchasing my MP5K, because Die Hard...

Hans: just another American who saw too many movies as a child, another orphan of a bankrupt culture that thinks he's John Wayne..?

.. How am I supposed to do a proper re-enactment without the proper sub gun?!

This came as a pistol as well and I added the more

well-known jungle handguard, as well as a collapsible stock. I have the same low

B&T optic mount on this as well, but with an AimPoint T1 co-witnessed.

Please remember that if you add a stock or a fore-grip that you guys are making it an SBR and

that you need to follow all applicable NFA guidelines and regulations.

I am using SilencerCo Omega9K suppressors on each firearm

with their new recessed three-lug adapters.

Smaller redheaded stepchild!

I thought that I look at the following factors to compare these two firearms:

size and weight, accuracy, reliability, and recoil.

For length, my MP5K is 17.5 inches

and my full-sized MP5 is 25 inches. Even with a far larger suppressor the

MP5K is still smaller than the full-sized MP5. In order to deploy each

firearm fully, you either need to unfold the stock or extend the stock.

Unfolding the stock is faster and easier than extending the stock, which could be a big

advantage especially under stress.

For weight I have my handy dandy food scale

some days I'm measuring raspberries and other days I'm measuring submachine guns.

My MP5K is 7 lbs and 3.6 oz and my full-size and MP5 is 8 lbs and 0.7 oz.

Based on size and weight, the MP5K is smaller and lighter which

definitely takes the win for concealability. Also the folding stock

allows it to deploy a lot faster than the extending stock on the MP5.

I shot both firearms from about 9 yards to gauge accuracy.

Please keep in mind that they have different optics which may be zeroed for different ammo or ranges.

They also have different trigger packs. To be thorough I also did groups

with and without suppressors attached for each.

As you can see, both firearms are equally accurate whether suppressed or

unsuppressed. When looking at these targets also bear in mind that these

were not done off a rest so perhaps the shooter, me, was a small factor here and there.

Both of these firearms are super reliable and I've had zero issues with them.

I put thousands of rounds through both of them in full auto and I've never

had to replace the buffers or the extractors.

La La La YEAAAAH!

I have noticed that with the smaller MP5K, it does need more frequent

cleanings when shooting suppressed. As it gets more dirty it does have issues

chambering the first round.

To test controllability and recoil I thought I would do some full-auto

shooting with each, with the size of the groups speaking to the results.

I also decided to do groups both with and without suppressors attached.

As expected, the full-size generally has less recoil... the difference isn't huge

but it is noticeable, especially in the beginning of a full-auto burst.

I promise I won't hurt you...

Overall, both of these firearms are awesome! They both tie in

many areas and are similar, but really what it comes down to is how you want to

use yours.

If you are looking for a concealability and self-defense, the smaller

version, the MP5K, is probably for you. It's lightweight, its smaller, and it's

easy to deploy. Otherwise, if you want a fun range toy, the full-size MP5 is more

shootable and requires less cleaning in my opinion. When determining which one is

"better", it can be a quite difficult decision, and may even come down to which

one you personally think looks cooler. If you do get one, you're probably going to

want to get the other, it happened to me! If I had to choose between the two I

would definitely pick the full-sized MP5. For me, concealability

isn't something that I really need. I do go to the range a lot and I enjoy less

cleaning. Which one do you guys choose? Let me know in the comments below.

Come out to the coast, we'll get together, have a few laughs...

For all the shooting in this video I used 147gr FreedomMunitions 9mm.

I don't just use it with my MP5s,

I also use it with my 9mm pistols. I shoot with it all the time and

I haven't had a single failure... I've shot about 4,000 rounds and the suppressors

seem to really love it as well.

Anyway, thanks for watching my video, I hope you

guys enjoyed it and found it informative. If you liked it, just hit the like button

and please subscribe, it let's me know to make more videos for you guys.

Hope everybody has a great day! Toodles!

Sony 1000XM2 Vs Bose QC35 II - Which Is The Best Noise Canceling Headphones (Late 2017) - Duration: 9:51.

You knew it was coming, so lets get to it…

Bose QC 35 II versus the Sony 1000XM2.

These two are perhaps the most popular options right now when it comes to noise canceling

headphones.

And both of these headphones have their own strong and weak points.

But more importantly, which is right for you?

We're about to find out, don't forget to like comment and subscribe and you can

watch both of these headphones individual reviews here after you're done watching

this video.

Both of these headphones retail for $350 and both of these headphones come in two color

ways.

The Bose QC35 II come in black and silver and the Sony 1000XM2 come in black and gold.

And they both come included with a hard shell carrying case, a micro USB cable for charging,

and an audio cable.

The Sony 1000XM2 come included with an airplane adaptor, while Bose decided to leave out their

plane adaptor for the Bose QC35 II.

If you want to pick either of these headphones up I'll have links in the description and

I'll keep them updated so you can't the best deal possible.

Both of these headphones are relatively identical on the outside to their predecessors the Sony

MDR-1000X and the Original Bose QC35.

And just like before the Bose QC35 II have far superior build over the Sony 1000XM2.

The panels on the Bose QC35 II are made out of glass filled nylon which are more durable

and lighter than the plastic ones on the 1000XM2.

The plastic panels on my 1000XM2 haven't had the cracking issue that was fairly common

on the 1000X but its still too early to tell if the cracking issue is gone.

The plastic panels on the 1000XM2 are snapped into place while the panels on Bose QC35 II

are screwed in so if you flex the headband on the Bose QC35 II theres really no squeaking

or cracking and the panels stay in place better.

Where as if you flex the headband on the 1000XM2 too much you risk the panels snapping out

of place.

Both of the headphones are using synthetic leather on the ear cups and headband and they

both have plush padding.

But the padding on the Bose QC35 II is just a little softer and it stays cooler for a

little longer than the 1000XM2.

The ear cups on the Bose QC35 II are also larger than the 1000XM2 so they encase your

whole ear while the ear cups on the 1000XM2 might rest on your earlobes if you've got

bigger ears.

What this means is the Bose QC35 II have a far superior build quality and slightly better

comfort over the Sony 1000XM2.

But like I've said before, the Sony 1000XM2 forego build quality in favor of features.

First off, the 1000XM2 have a better battery life than the Bose QC35 II.

The Sony 1000XM2 should last you a little more than 30 hours with noise cancelation

on, while the Bose QC35 II have a battery life of 20 hours with noise cancelation on.

And they both have quick charging, if you plug in the 1000XM2 for 10 minutes you should

get 70 minutes of playback time.

But if you plugin the Bose QC35 II for 15 minutes you should get 2.5 and half hours

of playback time.

Concerning sound quality, I prefer the 1000XM2 over the Bose QC35 II.

The highs on the Sony don't crash like they do on the Bose and theres much less distortion

at higher volumes on the Sony.

Although the Bose QC35 II have a little bit more depth, the bass just leave you hanging.

Where as The 1000XM2 have clean bass and you can adjust their EQ through Sony's headphones

app.

And you CAN'T do that with the Bose QC35 II unless you use a third party app.

If you're debating between these two headphones chances are you're mainly interested in

the Active Noise Cancelation.

And I've got to say, Sony has really improved their Active Noise Cancelation technology.

When you activate the ANC on the Sony 1000XM2 you feel no cabin pressure on your ear drum

and they don't cause any head aches.

And the 1000XM2 are also really good at rejecting wind noise.

Where as if the microphones on the Bose QC35 II get hit by a little breeze you're going

to get some white noise.

And I've been very vocal about this in the past but the ANC on Bose QC35 II have a lot

of cabin pressure and cause headaches.

And its just not me, I've passed the Bose QC35 II around to a few people and they all

said they hurt.

If ANC is on on the Bose QC35 II and you're not playing music you're going to hear a

constant hissing sound where as with the 1000XM2 there isn't but you're still blocking

out the sound.

And when it comes to over all performance, the 1000Xm2 is better at blocking out more

sound than the Bose QC35 II.

And the 1000XM2 also give you more control of your active noise cancelation settings

thanks to their ambient sound feature.

If you just want to block out everything you can just have your standard noise cancelation

turned on.

But if you set ambient sound to low the 1000XM2 will pump in some outside sound so you can

be aware of whats going on around you if you're walking in the city.

They can also specifically only let in people's voices.

And if you want more ambient sound in you can just raise the ambient sound setting.

And they can even adjust your ambient sound setting automatically depending on what you're

doing.

With the Bose QC35 II you only have three options to choose from concerning your active

noise cancellation.

You can either choose from High, Low or OFF.

But the coolest feature the Sony 1000XM2 have that the Bose doesn't is quick attention.

If someone is talking to you while you're playing music on the 1000XM2 you don't have

to take your headphones off.

All you have to do is cover the touch pad on the right ear cup and the head phones will

automatically lower the volume of your music and pump in all of the outside sound.

Where as with the Bose, if someone tries to talk to you, you have to take your headphones

off.

This isn't as sleek as the Sony.

The only addition to the new Bose QC35 II is the new Action button on the left ear cup.

And you can either have this button do one of two things.

Either you can activate google assistant or toggle through your active noise cancelation

settings.

Like I said in my initial review, you can use google assistant with an iPhone, but its

not as useful as it would be if you used it on an Android device.

If you tap the action button once, google assistant will tell you the time and any notifications

you might have.

But if you press and hold the action button you can talk to google assistant.

And having the action button on the Bose QC35 II is useful if you're a power user of google

assistant.

It really stream lines the process of talking to your assistant.

And with the Bose QC35 II you can use the action button on the left to activate google

assistant and you can use the multipurpose button on right to activate siri if you're

using an iPhone.

So you get two assistants at your beck and call.

And I like that cause sometimes google is better at more complicated questions than

Siri.

And here are a few minor things to take into consideration.

The Bose QC35 II can connect to two devices at the same time, so switching from your phone

to your laptop like I always do is super easy.

Where as the Sony 1000XM2 can only be connected to one device at a time so you cant just hot

swap.

And like I said in my initial review, premium head phones like the 1000XM2 should be able

to connect to multiple devices at the same time.

But, the Sony 1000XM2 have been updated with Aptx HD audio so the wireless audio quality

is better than the Bose QC35 II when streaming off of the same device.

And I'm not just saying that cause its on a spec sheet… you can really tell a difference.

So, if you're trying to decide between the Bose QC35 II and the Sony 1000XM2… get the

Bose if build quality and comfort are your top priorities.

Even though the new action button is nice, its not a must have feature cause you can

still just activate google assistant straight from your phone.

But for everything else I would pick the Sony 1000XM2.

They sound better, they have more features, they have a better battery life and the Sony

headphones app gives you so much more control over them.

Not to mention, the noise cancelation on the 1000XM2 is better than the Bose QC35 II.

Theres no hissing and theres no cabin pressure… but they still manage to block out more sound.

Remember, this isn't a full review for either of these headphones I'm just trying to point

out the most important differences between them so I can help you with your purchase

decision.

the top right to watch their full reviews.

The Opposition w/ Jordan Klepper - Which Numbers Can Be Trusted? - Duration: 5:09.

Numbers are tricky.

And they're even trickier in politics.

Some numbers are valid and support my argument,

while others are backstabbing fakes

that go against my argument.

Those numbers are called lies.

Now, this is complicated.

Even the same numbers can change allegiance,

like the unemployment numbers earlier this year.

You remember when they were fake,

and then they became real when Trump took over?

REPORTER: In the past, the president has referred

to particular jobs reports as phony or totally fiction.

Does the president believe that this jobs report

was accurate and a fair way to measure the economy?

Yeah, I-I talked to the president prior to this,

uh, and he said to quote him very clearly.

"They may have been phony in the past, but it's very real now."

(laughter)

They're laughing at how ridiculous they sound

asking that question in the first place.

So let's find out if this week's numbers

-are good guys -(angelic music plays)

-or bad guys. -(buzzer)

First up: Trump's latest approval numbers.

The numbers are looking a bit better for President Trump.

He's at 43% in our new

NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll.

That's a three-point uptick since August.

He's also up in Gallup, so this is across the board.

Okay, 43. You seem innocent enough,

but, uh, what do we know?

It's a terrible grade on a spelling test,

but a fantastic score

on the pommel horse.

But can we trust 43 as an approval rating?

Trump said in February

that any "negative polls are fake news."

But is 43 negative?

Well, I'm told it's less than half,

but what I'm really interested in is trends,

and this number is technically on the uptick.

Who knows what it will be next week-- 45? 95?

It's a grower, not a shower.

And that's an argument I am familiar with.

-So, 43: a good guy. -(angelic music plays)

But where else is numbers?

My big-suited friends say the stock market.

The stock market is at an all-time high.

So I'm really proud, 'cause a record

in the history of our country's stock market.

Tremendous gains.

People that truly dislike your president,

the heads of these companies are coming up

and hugging me and kissing me.

Oh, when you're a star, they let you do it.

The stock market is up.

In fact, the Dow recently set a new record when it hit 22,000.

But is that a number we can trust?

Now, some whiny liberal economists may tell you

that this economic boom is actually holdover growth

from Obama's policies, like Dodd-Frank

and the 2009 stimulus package.

They might even point at census data

that says real median household income grew

over the last two years.

But I don't trust this.

Who doesn't lie to the census?

Why should the government know how many kids I have

and how many refrigerators I own?

And it's a lot, by the way, to both questions.

So stop asking.

I like cold things and little people. Simple.

The point is 22,000 is a good number...

for 45, not for 44.

Now, you can't hide from me, numbers.

So let's put a fresh one in the feed.

Challenge me. Just give me something.

REPORTER: Health and Human Services Secretary Tom Price

is in hot water over taking dozens of charter flights

on private jets.

REPORTER 2: At a cost of over $400,000

to the taxpayers.

(whoops) Okay. Hoo boy.

I can do this. Now, o-on the surface,

it seems like Tom Price, a multi-millionaire

spending $400,000 in taxpayer's money

on personal travel--

I mean, that number-- sounds kind of like a-a bad guy.

But, uh... I got this. Follow me, here.

400,000. Four.

Four is the number of legs on a horse.

And horses were popular in the 1830s.

1830 is military time

for 6:30.

And 6:30 is when the sun goes down.

And son is also a male child,

which is who Tom Price was visiting.

And visiting has eight letters.

And a son is half a father.

Eight divided in half is four.

And what has four letters?

"Good." So...

Simple.

So, Tom Price spending $400,000

of taxpayers' money on private transportation

is a good number. Close one.

Now, finally, The Opposition premiered on Monday,

and I had no doubt in my mind

we were the most-watched show of all time.

But, according to big Nielsen, we were eclipsed

by Young Sheldon,

whose numbers were apparently larger than ours.

Let me be clear.

I don't get beaten by nine-year-old nerds.

I haven't gotten beaten up by a nine-year-old

since I was 15.

Then once more when I was 21,

but there were two of them, so technically,

I got beat up by an 18-year-old.

And that hasn't happened since Tuesday.

So, now, who's the mathmologist, Sheldon?
