[Steven Goodale] Every time there's new technology,
especially something as groundbreaking as VR and AR,
there are so many things that have to be defined and understood.
[Phillip Kauffold] So virtual reality actually places you completely inside a different world all together.
[Crysta Frost] You're not looking at a screen anymore. You're not sitting in a chair anymore. You're actually in the game.
[Kauffold] You can be flying in outer space and actually feel like you're in the cockpit of a spaceship.
[Frost] It's really the most immersive way to experience any game.
It's super cool.
[Goodale] Augmented or mixed reality is taking or adding digital elements to your real world.
[Kauffold] The first time i tried it, it really seemed like the technology I was waiting my whole life for.
This was sort of the Holodeck from Star Trek.
[Goodale] So the Cadillac experience for augmented reality is the HoloLens.
The HoloLens has the ability to read the room that you're in.
Cute little things might come bubbling out of the ground and talk to you.
We might capture that wall and then remove it entirely, and make some other landscape there instead.
It's a way of adding digital elements to your real world.
[Kauffold] So if you're interested in VR, we're going to make sure that you have all the tools that you need to actually work with it.
You're going to have scripting. You're going to have art. You're going to have 3D modeling.
You're going to be a very well-rounded person by the time you actually get to actually designing for virtual reality.
[Frost] I get to use all the same software I'll be using when I actually get hired.
[Dillon Haight] All the teachers are industry professionals,
and they have a lot of great insights into what is going on in the industry.
[Kauffold] You get to blaze a trail.
You get to go where somebody has never gone before.
You get to try something that's never been tried before.
And just the feeling of being in this environment that you've created is very powerful.

So welcome to Game Glitch, the show where I try to glitch games and hopefully it's
entertaining.
I'll also be choosing a winner of those fursuit paws at the end of this video, so
just stay tuned for that.
Today we're going to be playing PUNCH OUT!
Punch Out is this old NES game where you punch people, and it's actually pretty fun.
It's also slightly racist I think… but that's not important, what is important
is that you like this video *wooowhowoowwohhoo* There are several different versions Super
Punch Out, Punch Out, Mike Tyson's Punch Out, I mean, the stuff is all over the place,
but for today we're mostly just going to be playing Mike Tyson's punch out.
Fun fact, as a young child, like when I was in high school…
*voice cracks* Which was a long time ago…
Obviously…
My mother would always tell me about how she used to work at ESPN, and she one time ran
into the guy that Mike Tyson bit…
The guy that got his ear ripped off by Mike Tyson, and he will forever be know as the
guy who Mike Tyson bit.
But she almost spilled coffee on him.
Got half a ear, all the ESPN staff spillin' coffee on him, what a life.
So, sadly for me, I checked the website Cutting Room Floor, which is this wiki that tracks
like, stuff that has been cut from video games, typically they have all sorts of stuff to
pat out run time and stuff but nothing for Punch Out, basically.
So we're screwed basically, looks like I'm going to have to look into lottery tickets
again for this month.
There are all sorts of websites that are like, they show cheats codes and all that sorta
stuff, like IGN and all those sites.
Anyways, I found this site that claims if you hit select on the in between-rounds screen,
it can like, give you more health, but as far as I can see that isn't true.
What do I know though?
Maybe it just isn't enough for me to notice I don't know.
And while we're here, can I point out that this guy looks just like Stanley from the
US version of The Office?
(That is of course a TV show about an office for those who are unaware) Seriously, here's
a picture of Stanley.
Look at the mustache, the eyes, the rounded face, and the balding head.
I don't think I'm projecting or something, that's Stanley.
This explains so much of Stanley's back story.
A few years ago, this guy discovered that… well, let me explain some stuff first.
So, at least in the later levels, each guy that you fight sorta takes a step back and
then just destroys you, but, if you punch at the right moment you can get an instant
knockout.
The easter egg is that this guy, right here in the audience, ducks down whenever that
right moment to get the knockout happens.
So, bearded guy ducks, it means it's the time to punch in order to get that instant
knockout.
And in certain levels, this happens every time, it's not a cowinky-dink.
Now, you may have noticed that I'm showing the original video of where this video was
first discovered.
So, I run a tight shift and I was trying to get to the level in which I can do this, and
I did!
But I didn't record it, soooo I used a Game Genie code that gives me infinite strength,
and I still couldn't get to that stage again.
Or I missed just missed it but I'm going to review the footage so if you're hearing
this I didn't miss it, omg avery.
Like I said this was discovered just recently, which is a really interesting thing, considering
it's been around for 30 some years as of recording.
Speaking of Game Genie codes!
This is fun.
I found this site that was last editted in 2001, which has a bunch of codes, so I'm
going to show some of the best ones now, just for goofs.
This one, and I'm not even going to try to say the code's name, just really messes
up the sprites, here we can see Stanley with his head cut in half.
Now, when we actually start the level, the guy we're fighting sorta like space leaps
around the screen, and there is another code that does this without most of the sprite
messing up things.
Finally, there is this code which is supposed to make you win at the first knockout by having
mario always count to 10 no matter what…
But instead, it just froze.
You know what, I…
That's, that's better than winning the match actually, I like that one.
Soo that's really it, sans a few rom hacks that I will not talk about in fear for my
life, thanks to wafaa for showing me it, and you guys will hopefully never hear about it.
Now it's the moment you've been waiting for, I am going to choose the winner of those
