Now I'm going to speak about offense and defense: what is stronger?

Today I was asked again: what is stronger, offense or defense?

There is no correct answer to this question, because there are no criteria and no idea: what means stronger.

Stronger where? On the Kharkiv Championship, World Championship, or between two amateurs in the garage?

In case of World Championship, stronger when? In which year?

Not everyone knows, but in table tennis, there were times, when defense held sway over offense.

Almost all the strongest players were defenders,

and in the top there was no offender.

To speak about what stronger defense or offense, we should set up criteria, first of all.

If to speak about World Championship 2016, there will be overwhelming majority of offenders,

and few defenders, who will not take first places.

If to speak about National Championships, in such a case, defenders may easily be in the top,

but want to add, that such question is often asked by amateurs,

and at such level, question "what is stronger defense of offense?" is senseless.

As at such level any style of play is effective.

And style should be chosen due to natural skills, and not due to watching how someone plays at World Championship.

And speaking about amateur level and unachievable to most amateurs professional level,

professional player may play both in defense and offense.

In classic defense, modern defense, different blocks, and so on and so forth.

That's why, again. addle about which style is stronger at amateur level is completely senseless.

At amateur level you should look for your own style, at which you will comfortably and effectively play against your level.

Also you should choose correct equipment. By the way, if you need help with this,

As for correlation between defense and offense styles,

I want to pay amateurs' and beginners' attention to the fact,

that at the beginner level, tennis players make mostly unforced errors.

That's why, defender, who aims at returning all balls on the table,

he makes fewer unforced errors, than offender,

because it's harder to make mistake in defense, and it's easier to make mistakes while offending.

That's why, at lower levels of play defense has more advantages.

If someone is watching game between defender and offender, and makes a conclusion that offender is stronger,

But we should compare players of the same levels, not of different.

Samsung Galaxy Note 8 vs Galaxy S8: Which is Best Samsung Phone? - Duration: 5:56.

Now Samsung is the most popular smartphone manufacturer.

Galaxy S8 takes the first places in tops of the best phones in 2017.

Today the South Koean manufacturer released another flagship smartphone called Galaxy Note 8.

As you remember, Galaxy Note 7 has big problems, so we are waiting for new Galaxy Note 8 even more.

New smartphone is gorgeous and powerful, but how does it compare to Galaxy S8?

Let's take a look and see.

Both these smartphones are stunning pieces of technology.

They are made from glass and metal with curved backs and displays.

Of course, both smartphone have been designed by Samsung, and they look very similar.

However, they also have some minor changes.

Galaxy S8 is very rounded smartphone, while Galaxy Note 8 is a lot straighter with less

curves and more harsh lines.

Both smartphones have curved display, but again Galaxy Note 8 has steeper curves.

This is done to make it work better to take notes.

Next to USB-C charging port is located S-Pen.

It is exclusive stylus for Note smartphone.

S-Pen has 4096 levels of pressure sensitivity.

You can use it to draw and write.

It's also water-resistant by IP68 standards, just like both of these phones.

By the way, stylus doesn't require charging.

Galaxy Note 8, like Galaxy S8, has fingerprint sensor on the rear panel.

Galaxy Note 8 is bigger, than Galaxy S8, but not so much.

Samsung Galaxy S8 has 5.8-inch screen, and Galaxy Note 8 packs 6.3-inch display.

It doesn't feel too much bigger, than S8.

You should surprise, but, Galaxy Note 8 is not much more powerful, than Galaxy S8.

Both smartphones come with Exynos 8895 (in Europe and Asia) or Snapdragon 835 in USA.

They also have 64GB of storage and microSD slot.

Samsung added two more RAM, so Galaxy Note 8 has 6GB, and Galaxy S8 just 4GB of RAM.

Both smartphones come with the same quad-HD+ screen resolution, Infinity Displays with

fantastic HDR enabled, AMOLED panels and up to 1000 nits of brightness.

These are the best displays on the market without doubt.

As for the cameras, Galaxy Note 8 is equipped with two sensors on the back.

One is the same 12-megapixel sensor with aperture f/1.7, as Galaxy S8.

The second sensor is telephoto camera, that lets you make 2 x zoom without sacrificing

quality.

Both cameras have optical-image-stabilisation, but telephoto camera has f/2.4 aperture on

the lens.

The battery was the main problem of Galaxy Note 7.

So, the Korean company decided not to risk, so Galaxy Note 8 has standard 3300mAh battery.

However, it is bigger, than 3000mAh battery in Galaxy S8.

If we talk about price, then the cheapest is Galaxy S8.

It starts at $880, while Galaxy Note 8 costs about $1100.

As you can see, both smartphones have lovely designs with curved front and backs.

There's a minimal bezel around the display.

Also, smartphones have similar specifications.

S-Pen stylus is exclusive to Galaxy Note 8, though.

None of these smartphones are cheap, because these are flagship devices.

We are waiting for new iPhone 8, and how it will be opposed Galaxy Note 8.

Which conventional loan is right for you?

The right conventional loan program for you is contingent on your age, family size and current financial situation.

Which compact SUV should I buy?

I am driving a 2007 Toyota RAV4 with 184,000km on the clock and am playing with the idea of replacing the vehicle — but with what? I like the idea of the SUV due to ease of access and the elevated driving vision.

but I do not use four-wheel drive. The problem I have is all the vehicles around the size I require have mickey mouse space-saver spare wheels.

I can understand these spares being OK in cities and more-populated areas, but I generally drive from Cairns out to Mount Isa a couple of times a year.

The distance is about 1200km, generally through lowly populated areas, and I don't think I would readily get a new tyre fitted if I needed to.

I understand with the space saver-wheels your speed should be restricted to 80km/h and would think the distance would also be restricted. Dealers have offered to put in a full-size spare but that then presents an uneven floor.

You're quite right to look for a full-sized spare in anything you buy. It's easy for a people in the suburbs to deal with a puncture but Far North Queensland is another story.

In the size and price group of your RAV, things have moved on massively in the past decade. Toyota is no longer the pacesetter.

Almost all contenders now come with a cost-effective front-wheel drive model. Hyundai, Kia, Honda and some others have the benefits of a full-size spare.

But don't expect these family SUVs to be cheap, as it's easy to pay more than $40,000 if you want some luxury or all the safety gear in showrooms. CHOICES. Hyundai Tucson, from $29,990 drive-away.

There is nothing wrong with the Tucson and Hyundai is smart to include a full-size spare in as many of its models as possible.

It's a good size, comfortable, drives well and is well built, sharing its mechanical package with the Kia Sportage. The five-year warranty is generous but doesn't match its South Korean twin. Kia Sportage, from about $32,700 drive-away.

The Sportage's cabin looks more upmarket than the Hyundai and it also comes with the benchmark seven-year warranty.

It also has locally tuned suspension that will have no trouble coping with the toughest road conditions in FNQ, although the engine is nothing special. Subaru Forester, from about $34,700 drive-away.

The advantage for the Forester is full-time all-wheel drive, which can make a significant difference if you're spending a lot of time on gravel roads.

But you pay a price for the extra technology — the price above is for a manual 20i-L. You'll need to move to the 2.5i-L at $37,800 for an auto. The Forester cabin is roomy and comfortable, and resale is strong.

WILDCARD. Toyota RAV4, from about $34,500 drive-away.

As a RAV owner, the latest model might tempt you. The one-time star of the class still carries the brand's rock-solid reputation, especially away from cities where Toyota sets the standard for dealerships, but it's a bit mundane.

It also costs an extra $300 to upgrade to a full-size spare from the standard space-saver. VERDICT.

The Sportage is the pick. It's solid, drives well, and comes with the front-wheel drive and full-size spare you want. The suspension tuning really makes a difference on tough roads and the seven-year warranty is the clincher.
