Tabata interested in FULL Ardyn Game: Is Final Fantasy XV-0 A Possibility? - Duration: 5:20.
Tabata has made it clear time and time again, he's not interested in doing a direct Sequel
to Final Fantasy XV. And fair enough. The game had a proper conclusion with no real
cliff hangers, and would require some pretty questionable writing to continue it's plot.
Not to mention with all the DLC that's currently planned for the game, with monthly updates fleshing out the game's story
I don't think there's a need for XV-2. However, its recently been revealed that he's
actually not all that opposed to doing a Prequel about a highly fan favorite character: Ardyn.
Recently at Gamescom there was a Final Fantasy XV event entitled Episode Cologne: A King's
Night. That's Night as in night time. Or The Night Sky Prince. Thanks to Tumblr user Osahirao who attended
event was able to transcribe some the questions asked there, particularly doing this event,
Tabata was very open while speaking about the future of Final Fantasy XV. When it was
asked who won the survey, it was Ardyn's back story in first place, with Lunafreya's
backstory being a second place. But here's where things get interesting:
"It was Ardyn's backstory that the majority voted for - so we clearly got the message
he's the person fans want to know more about. We're not sure as of yet how we'll do
it though - it's a lot of story, and telling a character's story is always the most difficult
and detailed part of a game. So, we don't know yet whether we'll make it another game,
no dlc though, it would be a full game, or a movie, comic etc. We really want to tell
his story though. Second in the survey was Luna's story by the way. "
Tabata explicitly states that Ardyn's backstory is too big to be told in the style of 1-2
hour episodes like we've been getting, so much so that it'd at the very least have
to be a full game. And Let's be honest. If they go route of
making this a manga, anime or movie fans will be pretty much disappointed. It would also
make the experience more disjointed. It simply serve as more media you need to watch or read
in order to comprehend Final Fantasy XV's story.
But if it's made into it's own stand alone game, It could honestly have massive amounts
of potential. Because it would be a stand alone, it wouldn't require anything else
in Final Fantasy XV Universe in order to understand it. What we could tentatively be called Final
Fantasy XV-0, would not require you to have seen Kingsglaive, or even played the main
Final Fantasy XV game. Not only would it be great for newcomers,
but people who are still interested in Final Fantasy XV would get a lot of their questions
answered. Who was Gentiana before Shiva possessed her? What cause Ifrit's Betrayal? How did
the Lucii come to be? All of this rich lore that was seemingly missed could easily be
address with a proper Adryn prequel. If we're going to keep getting XV Universe
content, this is more along the lines of the type of things I wanna see. Not mobile cash-ins.
Not to mention they developed that expensive Luminous engine and software base of Final
Fantasy XV. By reusing and improving on things such as the combat system
it'd be possible to make a much better game than the original XV within a year and half's
time, which would was a great incentive as to why Final Fantasy X-2, XIII-2 and Lightning
Returns were developed. Although, hopefully if this game happens, it would be much better
and incomparable to those. Final Fantasy XV Universe has honestly overall
been a disappointment, and honestly, the only thing that could actually satisfy fans would
be a full reboot of the main game. In a weird way, this could be it.
We're unsure of when Sony will launch the Playstation 5, but it's bound to happen
by the year 2020 or 2021. This may not be enough time to develop Final Fantasy XVI unless
it's already current in development by another team. There's some people that speculate that
it could this hypothetical XV-0 could be a mobile game, although I personally don't
see that happening. I just...don't. It really wouldn't make any sense as a Free2Play game,
as the structure of the story wouldn't really conform well for this type of game. And I
suppose it could be an episodic game like Pocket Edition, but it wouldn't make very
much sense to create something like that due to the fact that the audience who wanted and
demanded this was the console audience that they found through console version of the game's
survey. I think its also possible that we could
we see a $30 digital-only stand alone game Hellblade: Senuas Sacrifice. I honestly
wouldn't mind seeing an 8 to 10 narrative driven experience that tells Ardyn's story.
This is also a possible avenue that Tabata may take.
Although, I'm going to be honest for a moment here and just...You Guys I love Ardyn.
Where Final Fantasy XIII gave us more and more stories of characters we didn't give
a crap about, Final Fantasy XV's greatest sin was creating characters that we were all
deeply interested and gave us nothing. So what do you guys think? Do you wanna see

Then, he can go inside.
Lots of fans like to cheer on the Mercury.
Logan remembers to stay with his grown-up.
There are lots of bathrooms in the arena.
Family bathrooms, without loud hand dryers, are also available.

There are concession stands that sell snacks and team shops that sell gifts.
Logan may or may not get something here, and that's okay.

If Logan ever needs a break, he can visit a quieter area of the arena, like the stairwell.
Once the game starts, the Pavilion entryway can be quiet too.
If Logan wants headphones he can bring them from home,
or get earplugs at Guest Relations in the Pavilion.
Logan finds his seat by using the section, row, and seat numbers on his ticket.
This is his seat for the whole game.
Before the game begins it will get very loud and exciting.
It will get dark, but the lights will come back on.
If Logan doesn't like this, he can cover his ears or wait in a quieter spot.
Before the game starts, everyone will stand up for the national anthem.
The fans will get very loud and excited when the players are introduced.
It's game time!
The Phoenix Mercury are good at basketball.
Logan watches them dribble, shoot and pass the ball.
The other team might be good, too.
Logan shouts, "Go Mercury!" to help cheer on the team.
There are lots of emotions at the game.
People might be happy when the Mercury score,
...and might be sad when the other team scores.
If the other team has the ball,
...Logan can cheer "DEFENSE!" with the crowd.
This will help the Mercury stop the other team from scoring.
The scoreboard is like a big TV in the center of the arena.
It shows the score of the game and player stats.
Logan watches it to see if the Mercury are winning.
When the basketball players take a break there is still a lot to see.
There is an exciting halftime show,
...games with the fans,
... and Scorch, the Mercury mascot. She is funny.
The Mercury play for quarters that are 10 minutes each.
Sometimes the Mercury win, and sometimes the other team wins.
Logan hopes the Mercury won.
When it's time to go, Logan leaves his seat and walks toward the exit.
Lots of people may be leaving at the same time.
Logan remembers to wait his turn.
Logan had so much fun at the Phoenix Mercury game, and he can't wait to go back.

How Game of Thrones' Wall Should Really Have Fallen | The Horn of Winter | Physics vs Film (and TV) - Duration: 5:56.
As soon as Game of Thrones giant ice wall was introduced, I think we all knew
that at some point it had to fall and let the White Walkers through. Now early
on this season, since winter has come, there was a theory that in fact the
Night King and his army of wights would simply walk around the wall on the now
frozen sea... which would have been a bit disappointing. But it turns out (SPOILER ALERT)
it was the zombie ice dragon Viserion
who caused the downfall of The Wall. Many people have shown that melting The Wall
just wouldn't be practical. That's because ice has such a high
latent heat of fusion and specific heat capacity, meaning it would take a
tremendous amount of energy, far more than you could possibly attribute to a
hypothetical fire-breathing creature. But there is a way that we could cause the
wall to fall and its origins are actually in the books. The Horn of Winter
is a legendary horn which the wildlings believe if blown would bring down The
Wall. Now that's not too much of a stretch. If the pitch of the sound produced by
the horn match one of the natural frequencies of the wall, then a resonance
could be set up within it. In resonances all that wave energy gets efficiently
trapped within the structure, meaning it can amplify and amplify more and more
with time. We've witnessed the level of destruction that resonances can cause
for instance with this bridge.
In fact we already employ resonances to break ice, in particular thin sheets of
ice over bodies of water like lakes. Hovercraft traveling over the ice at the
critical speed set up resonances in those thin sheets of ice which amplify
until they break via mechanical fatigue. Now with these thin ice sheets it's
usually shear or surface waves which are set up, but the principle would still
hold for sound or body waves in a giant block of ice. So what should the Horn of
Winter sound like? Well as I established before, the average thickness of The
Wall should be about 90 metres and the speed of sound in ice is 4,000 metres
per second (and don't worry if you like me believe that the wall has to be
actually made of pykrete, it doesn't change the numbers too much. The fundamental
frequency of The Wall then works out to be 22 Hertz, which is barely audible for
most people. But don't forget that harmonics, whole number multiples of that
frequency, will also lead to resonances or standing waves which perfectly fit
within the wall. For instance this sound has a pitch of 66 Hertz, three times the
fundamental, so that means an inception bwah could cause The Wall's destruction.
Mind blown! And it turns out you wouldn't even have
to perfectly tune the Horn of Winter, because the wall would act something
like a waveguide. Now while multiples of 22 Hertz would be just right for any
waves traveling at right angles backwards and forwards through the wall,
any sound waves that were traveling along it as well as through it would
travel a slightly longer distance and therefore would require a higher
resonant frequency. So as long as you're above that critical value, the effect
should be the same. But blowing the Horn of Winter to take
down The Wall might not look quite how you imagine. That's because sound gets
reflected at boundaries between materials which have very different
acoustic impedances, essentially a measure of the resistance to motion
under the pressure of that sound wave. Ice and air have very different acoustic
impedances. 99.95% of all of the sound from the Horn of Winter would end up
being reflected away from the wall, which of course is no good. We do have a way
around this. You know that gel substance using ultrasound scans?
Well that's there to match the acoustic
impedance of your flesh to try
and limit the amount of sound reflected by your skin. So we just need to use
something similar between the Horn of Winter and The Wall to make sure that
that sound gets through and hey presto wall fall down. And that is how this
season of Game of Thrones should have ended, according to physics!
