Survival Knots: How to Make the Reef Knot - Duration: 2:59.Hi guys! I'm Selene Survival Goddess
and today I want to share with you
The Four Ancient Maritime Knots for Survival.
The third knot you should know is called
The Reef Knot or The Square Knot.
Now for the Reef Knot or The Square Knot,
both pieces of rope or cordage you use
should be preferably of the same material
and the same thickness
otherwise the knot may slip.
A few Reef Knot uses include
tying a bundle of firewood to carry,
reefing sails on a boat,
tying First Aid bandages,
rope belts, and much more.
So here's how to tie the Reef Knot or the Square Knot.
I'll demonstrate how to make
The Reef Knot or The Square Knot.
Take one end of your rope
Go under
and over
and under
like that
Take the top pieces
and go over and under
Like that
tighten it up
And you have The Reef Knot or The Square Knot.
The Reef Knot or The Square Knot
ties two pieces of rope or cordage together.
Practice making these knots in your outdoor projects
or when you're camping or relaxing at home.
Don't wait until your life depends on these knots
to know how to use them.
They're very useful and they might end up
saving your life, or someone else's someday.
I want to thank you so much for watching

What to make with those dehydrated potatoes - Duration: 18:29.Doing potatoes again. I've only tried to record this like I don't know three times four times
One of my viewers gave me a suggestion to use the meat slicer
Terrific idea we are going for a little thicker this time see if I can focus in there for you
Yeah
So a little thicker, it's Gonna hold up a little bit better
as I explained
In the first video when you cut them this way right, then that thickness works real well
But when you cut lengthwise that thickness does not work at all
Obviously, so I just want to just show you how super-easy this is as long as you're careful
Never want to get your hand near the blade while it's moving
So yeah, you could end up
Shutting it off quite a few times, but it's worth it
And as long as you keep a firm even pressure on it. There you go
you just get these terrific slices and
then these are going to be blanched now these are thicker, so I will blanch these for five minutes and
then set them out on trays I
needed to get this done because it's
time
um
I'm considering doing my celery the same way, and I'll tell you why there's a gal. I think heather follows her
She hasn't made a video in forever
If I can find the video, I'll put it in a card up here
She does all of her vegetable slicing for dehydrating on a meat slicer. It's the craziest thing
and
if you're not familiar with the process of
Dehydrating celery, I will leave a link to my video up there as well
But if you get a chance, I can't remember the name of the channel, but I will definitely find it for you
To look her up. She's pretty amazing and um
she
Like I said she does everything
With meat slicer now, you just have to play around with the dial until you find the thickness you want
So I'm going to finish these up. I'm gonna blanch them
I'm gonna get them on the trays and when they come out which will probably be much later
But when they come out, I'm going to show you how they turned out okay?
All right guys. We're back
Um the potatoes turned out nicely. Okay if you can
If it's Gonna let you see it. Yeah
turned out terrific
The meat Slicer was a fantastic idea. I have to say I have plans for doing more
I mean, I you know I used my meat slicer quite a lot but not for veggies
But thing that was super convenient, and it turned out terrific, but all right
So I have a recipe for you for scalloped potatoes
It's Bethlo fees
recipe
You just had to know that yeah in my search. I was gonna find her on the top of the list and I trust them
So I'm going to do a half a recipe for you today
Um because I've not made it yet. We're making it together first the full recipe will be
down in the description box
BEv's Channel is right up here
Um and for those of you that want more dehydrating
recipes and how to dehydrate Bev's an excellent resource
so
We're gonna make this little guy cuz I'm thinking I can fit it in there
the original recipe calls for three cups of
nope
Oops, I'm sorry hold on my alarms going off
Sorry guys. I have alarm set for the
for the baby to record things that
She can watch here
that was a
An alarm to record a paw patrol episode because they don't have TV at their house
They have netflix than that, but you know they're young couple they're just getting started so that was one one of their ways of cutting
Costs, so I settled harms for these little hour-long shows and things that come up so that she can watch
Them here anyway, so the potatoes came out wonderful
We're gonna do it in this little guy, okay the original recipe called for 2 and 3/4 cup milk
I have 11 ounces which is 1 cup and
then half of 3/4 now
if I did this right
3/4 of a cup
Is 6 ounces and half of that is 3 ounces right? I?
Hope I did that right
We'll find out
Alright, so to this. We are going to add
Well, let's put it in this little one so we can
Mix it a little bit better
It calls for two. We are going to add
one Tablespoon of
flour
Just Gonna mix that up
Let's see if I can get you down a little better. Okay. I'm gonna mix this up I
don't like lumps I
know a lot of people just take all of it and put it in there together and I
Don't have good luck with stuff like that. So I try to avoid once all right Bev use potato starch
I'm using the corn starter
Again, we're Gonna mix
And just fyi guys you know I buy the lactose free milk
At Walmart I buy their brand and I'm so utterly thrilled with it. I
Can't even tell you I can drink milk again. It's so nice
alright, so we need a
1 teaspoon, so would be converted would be 1/2 teaspoon dried mustard
1/2 teaspoon of Salt Which would be
We'll just do a quarter
As you can always add 1 Gator
And I use Kosher
cuz to me
it's just as safe as
the pink salts in that and I
Have a quarter teaspoon of pepper. You know buying the fancy salt is just not in my budget
So we've got a quarter teaspoon of pepper 1/4 teaspoon of salt 1/2 teaspoon of dried mustard
1/2 teaspoon of garlic of course, that's up to you if you want to
Really garlic it up, and I should mention as BEv did
that
You can add cheese to this and make it a rotten as well
Excuse me. I think I got pepper
Okay, no measurement on the parsley. She used tribes
in the original video
But then she also did a video on scalloped potatoes in a jar?
Which she did and you know instead of just leaving her channel? I'll leave that recipe
Scalloped potatoes in a jar
um
And she added
powdered milk to this so literally all you had to do was pour water on it and put the butter cubes on and
You're done right, and I think she was doing it for her kids for her boys
which gave me this great idea to prepackaged this and
Put it in bags. Just like I did my stuffing and you know if you want to know how to do that
I'll leave a um
I'll leave a link to my stuffing video
where I packaged up all of the
dry ingredients and the stuffing and the dehydrated vegetables that I used with instructions in
Mylar bags zip locks this time and so that way I'll have to do is crack open a mylar bag
Pour the liquids in I'm done
Everything it was done for me
all right Mm-Hmm, so
Now what we've got left is our potatoes
Okay
our onions, and I'm gonna do a
hers calls for one large onion, I'm using the dried onion, so it's just gonna be a sight thing honestly because
I
Don't want too much to be in it cuz then hubble loses money
so this is one and a half cups and
you know you have to be careful with stuff like this because this is not by volume or by weight it's by volume, so
Bev didn't give me a weight. She just said three cups of
the potatoes
but I had a volume measurement of the liquid so
just gotta play around if it doesn't work therefore if it's a little too dry or not a
Little too soupy or whatever. We're just gonna play around till we get it, right?
When you get it right, that's when you take your weight measurement
of the potatoes okay, and then you go from there because
you know getting a volume measurement of these it's not easy all right, so I'm just going to
do that
If I was gonna, make au gratin at this point, I think I'd put a layer of cheese down there
You know what this is a test batch. He's not even eating this one. Let's live it up
But I did want to make this without the cheese first because I don't know
If I'm gonna have to make some liquid adjustments because of the cheese. I don't know so all right, so
Now we have our liquid. We're gonna pour this on top and
I know, it seems like a lot but
keep in mind
we are
Rehydrating something so it's Gonna use all that liquid
alright now after this a
Lot of that spice kind of settled in the bottom
Want it to kind of be everywhere?
Okay after that now the butter is two tablespoons
Which I think you could totally eyeball it. That's just how I feel
so
And she just cut it up into little quarters you know
Out there
Now this is smaller. I'm just going on
There we go well now I think that's probably enough this can go on my butter dish
all right, so we are going to
cover this
and what she did was
Sorry guys. I don't have a lip for these little guys she covered it
And then the last five minutes, she took the top of that cover off, so I'm going to pull you know what?
We might not be cooking it that long. I forgot well
Just because it's smaller doesn't mean it's gonna cook less time
We'll just have to keep an eye on it, so I
will check this at
You know I'm thinking it's gonna take the same amount of time all right, so I'm gonna do this for 35 minutes
I'm going to take the lid the cover off at 35 let it go
Through the last five minutes without a cover let it sit for five minutes, and I'm doing this
in
my toaster oven
It's easy it's convenient. It doesn't heat my house up. We're no longer having
Triple-digit days, but
93-94 is about the average for us right now
so this is set on 350 and so the
Least amount of hard work that my air conditioner has to do the better. I like it
So I'm going to set this for
35 minutes, and I'm going to bring you back when
It's time to look at it. Okay guys, so I had to cook it a
little bit Longer
about seven minutes longer, but I'm wondering if maybe
Well my toaster ovens been giving me problems
So next time I will probably make this in the oven, but it looks pretty darn good. It's
Yep, all the potatoes are nicely cooked and if you threw some
cheese in this
It would certainly make a great or gratin, so I'm gonna plate this up for you. Oh
Yes, look at that. Oh
goodness
So yeah this actually cooked about seven minutes longer. I would try it with the original setting but
do it in an oven because it might be that the oven just works better or my
toaster ovens on its last leg which I've been noticing problems with it anyway, so
The buttons have been having a hard time
Mmm, yummy all right, so look at that isn't that beautiful
All right, so there's our potato first potato
Do this with cheese or without?
if you wanted a little
A
Deeper color to it. I would say add some tumeric to it because that would certainly be pupp the color a little bit
and
I will look for another recipe, but
Go ahead and try this one. I'm certain that you will enjoy it it looks absolutely delicious
I have some leftover meatloaf, and I'm going to have a nice lunch
All right guys
Give me a thumbs up if you like this
Thank you for watching I appreciate your viewership and until the next video
I'll see you later. Bye

♥K-Style inspired every day Make Up on European girl♥ (with only drugstore products) - Duration: 8:20.Hello everyone and welcome to my very first Makeup Tutorial!
Let's get started, shall we?
Start of with priming your face with your fave primer.
Now apply foundation. I am using Manhatten Endless Perfection Make Up in the shade 02.
Make sure to blend it into your hairline and down your neck.
Apply concealer to your chin, nose, forehead and underneath your eyes to cover up little flaws
and to highlight these parts of your face.
Use a translucent powder to set everything.
Fill in your eyebrows with a browpowder that fits your natural haircolour.
Try to draw them as straight as possible.
Now for the eyes...
Use a peachy copper shadow and a big brush to apply it to you whole lid
Use what is left on the brush to blend the shadow to the outer corner of the lower lid.
With a smaller brush, apply a very light shimmery cream color to the inner corner if your eye.
Take a light rosé tone and apply it into your crease with a blending brush.
Now use a greyish brown and apply it onto the outer corners of the eye.
Use brown or grey gel eyeliner to create a thin soft looking line.
Draw a wing that points slightly downwards to create the "puppy eye" effect.
Now thicken your upper lashline with a brown liner.
Use a warm brown tone and apply it to your lower lashline,
from the outer corner to about the middle of your eye to the middle
Go in with a darker shade to connect the wing of your eyeliner with your lower lashline.
Use the lightest color from before and apply it to the inner corner of your lower lid
Now curl your lashes....
...and apply mascara.
(Or use falsies if you want to :))
Go in with a mini mascara on the lower lashes.
Now for the face:
To make your face appear smaller, contour it around your hair- & jawline.
Also contour your nose and lips.
Apply a peachy orange blush to your cheeks and blend it a bit to your nose.
Now put highlighter on your nosebridge, nosetip, above your lips,
on top of your cheeks and also underneath your brows.
Use a bright red liptint. Slightly apply it to the center of your lips and blend it out with your finger
Repeat the same steps with a darker red but use less product.
And we're done! ☺
Thank you very much for watching!♥

Reese's No Bake Cheesecake | How to Make Chocolate Peanut Butter Cheesecake - Duration: 5:58.hey everyone it's James from fun foods and today I'm going to show you how to make
this chocolate peanut butter no bake cheesecake this is amazing now this was
a request video so thank you so much for that request I really appreciate that
for right now keep watching and I'll show you step by step how to make this
now the first thing you want to do is start off with a package of these Nutter
Butter cookies you could use Oreo cookies but I think the peanut butter in
these will make this taste so much better next you just want to add this to
a food processor or a blender or you can put it into a ziplock baggie and smash
them into bits if you don't have one of these
and of course always save one to try out and now we're going to do is grind those cookies up until
there's small little bits
it shouldn't take too long and you should be left with these nice sandy
crumbs so to this I'm going to add five tablespoons of melted butter
after thats mixed in really good now let's move on to the next step now you
want to start with a springform pan one that comes off like this and this one I
believe is a 9 inch springform pan and I'm just going to pour my crust in here
and to flatten it down I'm just gonna use the back of a cup and press it in
make it nice and even
now just take this put this in the freezer while we work on the cream
cheese filling next in a large bowl you want to add two
8 ounce packages of cream cheese that's been softened at room temperature and
before we add our other ingredients we want to get this nice and creamy
and to this we're gonna add is a 14 ounce can of sweetened condensed milk
and mix that in I'm also going to add a half a cup of
heavy whipping cream and one teaspoon of vanilla extract now mix this in
and when that's well mixed in what we got to do is divide this up into two
separate bowls into this small bowl I'm gonna add a half
a cup of creamy peanut butter
and when that's mixed in we can put this aside and we'll come back to it shortly
now for our other Bowl I have melted a half a cup of good chocolate and now
that that's melted I'm going to pour it in here
now just pull your crust out of your freezer it should be nice and firm at
this stage now what I want to do is add some of my chocolate cheesecake filling
in here I just want to start it right in the middle
and then some of our peanut butter filling right in the middle of that
and then back to our chocolate frost our chocolate cheesecake filling
I do suggest tapping it pretty hard on your counter
and then add your final layer of peanut butter cheesecake right dab in the
middle there
and again tap it down until everything's nice and smooth
and because this is a Reese's chocolate peanut butter cheesecake
there's no better way than decorated then use Reese's now I'm going to put
one right in the middle here I'm going to push it down a hair like that then I'm
going to cut others in half
and that's it now just take this set this in the refrigerator for at least
four to six hours until it firms up so I've had my cheesecake in refrigerator
for a few hours now we're going to remove it from its springform pan to do
that start off with a butter knife and we just want to go around the sides and
we want to loosen it up so that when we pull the springform pan it still stays
intact and we just want to open this up here
now that is a chocolate peanut butters dream cheesecake so what do you say we
cut open this and try it out
well now it's time for a taste test I'm gonna dig into my cheesecake here
and go through all these layers this is gonna be amazing I can tell already
mm-hmm it's incredible you have to try it out well thanks everyone for watching
I hope you enjoy it watch me make this no-bake chocolate peanut butter
cheesecake it is delicious I hope you get a chance to try it out

Make Me Tick EP3: Voting - Why Even Bother? - Duration: 4:11.Hi I'm Melanie and I love voting
And I've convinced my friend
Angella to vote
No
I still don't feel like voting
You serious right now?
I mean I bought you biscuits
I paid for your flight
to go down to Wellington
to take you to the debating chamber
of Parliament
This whole thing has put
a whole dent in my wallet
What more do you want?
I just don't feel
like my vote counts
But it does count
in 2014
40% of people under 30
that could vote did not vote
imagine if all those people decided to vote
But you've been voting all day
and you just didn't know it
You liked that Facebook video of kittens wearing hats
You voted for that contestant
You gave your taxi driver five stars
You're voting for him on your date
It's not compulsory but
it's a privilege and its a right
and there's places in the world where
you don't have that right to vote
My name is Fatumata Bah
and we are originally from
Sierra Leone, West Africa
We decided to come to New Zealand
as refugees
fleeing the Civil War back home
What would you say to people
that don't feel
like they need to vote
or have a say
Coming from
a country where
the system is not as
transparent
You really understand that
voting is a privilege
You know
the fact that you can
oppose the current government
or the opposition
and not worry about your safety
It's actually
There's quite a few ways
You can check online
There's a lot of resources
There's On The Fence and Vote Compass
Or you just chat to your friends and family
that have similar values to you
and see what they think
Think of it like a recipe
and the party that
you're voting for
is like a meal
and all the ingredients
that make up the meal
are like their policies
This is the flour policy
ohhhhhhhh
woooooooooooooohoooooooooo
Delicious
Put some beans in there
sort of just chuck that in
and a bit of hot sauce
to give it a bit of bite
eh?
and mix it all up together
and that's your party
It's got all the things that you wanted
that are all mixed in together
That's your party
Just right.
They don't look Indian and Samoan
Well what do think voters look like?
Has a top hat
Wears a black jacket
Carries around loads of money
Hold on hold on hold on
This is just the Monopoly guy
Yeah that's what voters look like
Ok
Well if only the Monopoly guys of the world vote
then all of their concerns are gonna be reflected in policies like
Cupholders for stair chairs
Prescription lenses for windows
And mandatory personalised plates
I'm Indian and Samoan
and I'm a immigrant as well
is it important for immigrants to vote?
For a lot of individuals from migrant
or ethnic backgrounds
don't really feel like their voices
or their concerns
are being heard or addressed
and I feel like voting
is where we can
make sure that our voices are heard
We need to put ourselves out there
and we need to engage
with the system
if we want to see that diverse representation
So have I done it?
Have I convinced you that voting is great?
Yeah
I'm gonna do this
I'm gonna vote
You know what that means
It's time for some inspirational imagery
I love voting
Voting

Survival Knots: How to Make the Bowline Knot - Duration: 3:00.Hi guys! I'm Selene Survival Goddess
and today I want to share with you
The Four Ancient Maritime Knots for Survival.
Now there's no need to get knotted up about learning
every cordage tying trick in the books.
Even if you remember no other knot,
the Bowline Knot will have you secured for survival.
It's basically a fixed loop that will not slip.
Bowline Knot uses include small game snares,
rescuing a person from water or a crevasse
such as a cave, rock climbing,
hanging food up away from predators,
attaching cordage to archery bows or bow drill fire kits,
and much more.
So here's how to tie a Bowline Knot.
It's very simple.
You start with an overhand loop, like this,
and there's a little rhyme to help you remember
how to do the Bowline Knot,
about a rabbit, being the end of the rope.
The rabbit comes out of a hole,
rabbit runs around a tree (top of the rope here),
the rabbit runs back down his hole,
the rabbit stops to watch the tree grow.
You pull it tight, and you have a fixed loop,
a Bowline Knot.
I'll demonstrate how to make the Bowline Knot again.
Start out by making an overhanded loop, like this,
the rabbit runs out of his hole,
the rabbit runs around a tree,
the rabbit runs back down his hole,
and the rabbit stops to watch the tree grow.
And you have a fixed loop, the Bowline Knot.
Practice making these knots in your outdoor projects
or when you're camping or hiking, etc.
I would practice them
even when you're at home watching TV.
Practice the Bowline Knot one-handed in the dark.
That's one knot that you really need to know how to use.
Don't wait until your life depends on these knots
to know how to make them and how to use them.
They may end up saving your life
or someone else's someday.
I want to thank you so much for watching
I hope you enjoyed today's video

How to make a flower arrangement with lemons| Country Hill Cottage - Duration: 2:32.Learn to make a stunning yellow centrepiece with lemons!
The focus of the arrangement is all about the texture of the different florals that
include dahlias, lisianthus, yarrow flowers, safflowers and billy balls.
The lemons add an extra pop of colour and create even more visual interest, while at
the same time hiding the floral foam that holds the flowers.
You can easily replace the lemons with other citrus fruits, for example, limes or oranges.
Check the links below the video for the written instructions and our DIY citronella candle
tutorial!
Please subscribe for more tutorials, and turn on notifications so you don't miss our latest
videos.
Place the floral foam, which has been soaked in lukewarm water for at least 30 minutes,
into the smaller vase, and then put the smaller vase into the larger one.
We recommend using a smaller vessel inside a larger glass container to keep the fruits
and flowers separated since the acidity of the lemons can shorten the vase life of the
flowers.
Cut 4 to 5 lemons into 1/2 a centimetre or 1/4 of inch-thick slices and wedge them in
between the two containers to keep them in place.
Line the inside of the vase with layers of lemon slices until no more floral foam is
showing.
Remove all but the top most leaves form all flower stems.
Shorten the stems and start arranging the flowers, so they hang forward over the edge
of the vase.
Work your way around the container and then fill up the middle of the arrangement.
Mix the flowers often to create an interesting and varied look, and try to form a domed shape.
As a final touch, add a few Billy balls here and there into the centrepiece.
The lemon slices will look fresh for three days, the flowers for up to a week if the
arrangement is displayed in a cooler place out of direct sunlight.
Many thanks for watching!

Survival Knots: How to Make the Clove Hitch Knot - Duration: 3:51.Hi guys! I'm Selene Survival Goddess
and today I want to share with you
The Four Ancient Maritime Knots for Survival.
The second knot you should know
is called the Clove Hitch.
The Clove Hitch ties the rope to an object.
A few Clove Hitch uses include
starting and finishing shelter lashings,
the Egyptian bow drill fire method,
constructing a French Windlass,
setting up rain tarps, and much more.
Now there are two different ways
that you can make the clove hitch:
"On The End" or "On The Bight."
So here's how to tie a Clove Hitch On The End.
Start with your rope like this
carry it over, and pull it through
tighten it up
and there you have a Clove Hitch.
This is how you tie a Clove Hitch On The Bight.
Start with two loops,
it should look like this,
overlap them,
then you could put your spindle through,
tighten it up, and there you have it.
I'll demonstrate how to make
the Clove Hitch On The End.
You take your rope,
wrap it around an object, like this,
wrap it over, and pull it back through,
tighten it up,
and you have a Clove Hitch On The End.
Here's how to make the Clove Hitch On The Bight.
Start out with a loop like this,
make another loop just like it,
overlap them, put your object through,
tighten it up,
and you have a Clove Hitch On The Bight.
It's essentially the same as
the Clove Hitch On The End,
just a different way of doing it
that I think is easier for bow drill fire spindles.
Practice making these knots in your outdoor projects
or when you're camping or relaxing at home.
Don't wait until your life depends on these knots
to know how to use them.
They're very useful and they might end up
saving your life or someone else's someday.

#Chelsea tipped to make late signings before deadline - Duration: 2:27.Chelsea tipped to make late signings before deadline
Chelsea are "bound to" make a number of new signings before Thursday's transfer deadline, according to Mark Lawrenson and Dion Dublin.
The Blues have been linked with a whole host of players throughout the summer transfer window, but they have only so far brought in four new faces, after tying up deals for Willy Caballero, Tiemoue Bakayoko, Antonio Rudiger and Alvaro Morata.
Having lost the likes of John Terry, Nathan Ake and Nemanja Matic so far this summer, Antonio Conte will be keen to try and bring in some more players before the close of the transfer deadline, especially we Champions League football looming next month.
And both Lawrenson and Dublin feel that the Blues are likely to strengthen before Thursday night's transfer deadline.
Asked if Chelsea are likely to bring in any more players this summer, Lawrenson told BBC Sport's Football Focus: "Bound to.
And Dublin added: "I'd be surprised if we don't see at least one, maybe even two. He's probably got his eyes on a couple.
"They will do because Chelsea want it again, Chelsea want it again definitely.
Chelsea will take on Roma, Atletico Madrid and Qarabag in the group stage of the Champions League after the draw was made in Monaco last week.
The Blues are gearing up for a return to Europe's elite club competition after they missed out on European competition altogether last term.

HOW TO MAKE PASSIVE INCOME - PASSIVE INCOME ONLINE FOR BEGINNERS - Duration: 6:50.Imagine a life where you don't have to go to work.
You wake up in the morning and you have the whole day in front of you,
to learn new things, visit places, or lay in bed all day – all that while getting
paid and not having to worry about money.
Sounds ...too good to be true, right?
I mean If it's possible then no one would spend 8 hours at a job they usually hate.
But, most of the people do exactly that.
And it's because they don't believe that passive income is possible, or even if they do they
have no idea what passive income is and isn't.
Let me address what my interpretation of passive income is, and that's not the traditional/banking
definition of passive income – what I mean is that your income is earned through a passive
activity, meaning continuing to generate revenue long after the initial setup.
And if you think that passive income can be achieved without setting up a profitable system
in the beginning or that it's easy money and you won't have work hard, well then, I guess
this video is not for you. Aaand you can probably leave.
Passive income cannot be achieved overnight or even in a week, it is a long process of
delayed gratification, patience and working hard AND smart, but once it is set up correctly,
it can literally change your life forever, you'll be free to spend your days however
you like, and do what makes you happy.
Let me tell you a story about Bryan and Adam, a story about two video makers and how their
thinking and patience can be the only difference between working your whole life and a life
of freedom.
Bryan and Adam were two college friends, studying video production and editing.
They both loved making videos and soon enough they became close friends.
After a few years, they both graduated and Bryan started working for a video production
company where he created animated videos.
The company paid a hundred dollars for a single video.
And because Bryan was really good at this job he was able to produce new videos daily,
and got paid 100$ after each day of work.
Adam on the other hand was also invited, but decided not to work for the same company,
because while in college he watched some small YouTube channel talk about passive income
and decided to risk one year and give the idea a shot.
On the first day Bryan created a video and got paid 100$, Adam also made one video, but
instead of giving it to the company he uploaded it online.
The night before going to bed, he looked it up, and was surprised when he got paid 1$
from advertisements shown on the video.
The next day Bryan created another video, and got another 100$ bill, while Adam earned 1$
dollar from his new video, and 1$ from the video he posted the day before.
He was disappointed when he realized that his videos are worth a dollar a day, while
Bryan's videos 100$ a day.
Nonetheless he kept making videos.
What he didn't saw is that after a year, Bryan will have only 1 video that is worth 100$,
the current video he is making for the company, but Adam now has 365 videos each earning him
a dollar a day.
The difference... is in the ownership of the videos.
At the end Bryan will be left with nothing, if he stopped working, he will get 0$ the
next day, because he traded his time for money.
On the other had Adam has ownership of the videos, each one working for him, bringing
him a dollar a day – and if he stopped working he would still get money, because he OWNS
the videos.
If you do the math, after a year Bryan will have made 365 videos each worth 100$ which
equals 36,500 dollars after a year.
Adam on the other hand will have 1 dollar on the first day, 2 dollars on the second,
3 on the third and so on, on the 365th day he will earn 365 dollars each one of his videos
will make him a dollar that day, so if we sum it up and do the math, after a year
Adam will have 66,795 dollars.
Heck even if the videos only got him 50 cents a day, that's 33,397 dollars, roughly the
same as Bryan but now he wouldn't have to work a second if he wanted and he would still
get money.
The best part about passive income is scaling.
Let's look at Adams scaling options.
At this point he owns 365 videos each paying him let's say 50 cents so that's roughly 182
dollars a day.
Adam can use those money to hire someone like Bryan and give him 100$ per video.
So, he would take a hundred from his earnings and invest them in his system so he could
make even more videos without touching a single thing, giving him even more passive income
with the option to hire more Bryan's.
In the free time Adam can improve his knowledge about videos, sharpen his talents, find his
passions, be happy and generally do what he wants.
And that is the underlaying message I want to get across.
It's not about telling you to start a YouTube channel, to make affiliate sales, or that
you can sell your music online.
It's about understanding the power of passive income and that it really is possible, but
also to understand that passive income is not for everyone.
You have to work very hard at the beginning, setting up the system, being patient, seeing
what's working and what's not, and sometimes you would even have to work for free as opposed
to selling your videos for 100$ every time you make them.
And even after you set up your system, passive income still needs some kind of maintenance
effort.
But without a doubt passive income is one of the best incomes you can have, because
you can set up indefinite number of income streams and there is no limit of how much
money you can make.
In the next video I will share more types of passive income, but for this kind of passive
income where you create something, like mobile application, music, photos, videos, books,
courses the key point is that YOU are the owner of the finished product, because that
will enable you to get paid for the rest of your life.
For example, if you write an e-book – you are the owner of the book and for every download,
guess what, you get paid.
The difference between writing a book about meditation and writing articles about meditation
for a company, is that at the end of the day – you are the owner of the book and the
company is the owner of your articles.
And yes, it's easier to work for a company, finish 8 hours of work go home and get paid
than to write a book, design the cover, upload it on different sites, market and sell the book.
But hey, no one said that creating passive income would be easy in the first place.
Now that you know what passive income is and that you can use it to create your perfect
life, in the next video I will share some of my favorite ideas on how to set up you
own passive income stream.
It's a list of ideas, some of which I used in the past and some of which I currently
use, so hit that like button, subscribe if you haven't already and I'll see you in the
next video.

How To Make A Gold And Pink Globe | Vintage Inspired Room Decor - Duration: 3:31.Hi everyone
So to make this adorable gold and rosy globe
we're first going to repaint this 'mount' thing
First with a white layer of acrylic paint to hide the metal underneath and then giving it a brown-ish color :)
So next we're going to paint the "water" part of the globe with a white color to cover the blue
then giving it a precious coat in the shade pearl pink
I then proceeded to paint the "earthy" part with gold acrylic paint
just in case some of the gold leaf gold would flake off, then it wouldn't be as noticeable
then cover the golden land with glue
and let it sit for 15 minutes
then carefully place a gold leaf over the glued area
and press it down gently with a soft clean brush
continue till all glued areas are covered and leave it for a couple of hours to dry
when the glue is completely dry, take your fluffy brush and dust away
some suggest covering it with a coat of varnish or glue
but since I have lost all faith in the importance of varnish
I cannot let it take away my shininess
I'm just loving this vintage vibe
Thank you so much for subscribing and I'll see you next week :D Byee :D
