He finally agreed to go to treatment.

I remember the day we packed all his clothes up.

He sat at the airport with

her for two days so she got on the airplane.

My daughter went to or over, it's

either 16 or 19 rehabilitation centers.

Treatment by treatment by recovery center,

it's just a jungle out there.

I trusted that the facility knew what was

right for Angie, but no one told me about

aftercare/recovery, no one told me anything.

You were so desperate for

support and so desperate for information

and you want to speak to somebody so much.

Talk to your kids.

When you have that gut

feeling that something's wrong, begin to

look, begin to investigate.

The sooner you

can get a child into treatment the

better off they'll be.

But make no mistake,

it's not just about your child changing,

it's about you changing how you deal

with your child.

Get yourself educated about addiction.

It really is about you, the parent, getting

involved fully in the process.

This truly is a

family disease and we all need help.

I know now where to go for help.

You don't have to do this alone.

There is help out there for parents.

As a family [it is] we've all come

I do you think it's one of the best

thing about my job in some ways is I

guess mean all those amazing family

really get to see what being strong is

really is I have a choice to work here I

can always go work in some of the

hospital but the families have come here

don't have a choice so Zoey has a

daughter she just over a year old she's

been at SickKids for just over seven months

definitely defying the odds she she's

battle she's fought no less than seven

times we've been in with doctors to

discuss what life would be like without

Zoe

to be here every day to make the hard

decisions that they have to make I look

at these families and every day I learn

something from them the way they

struggle the way the fight the way the

balance their lives I learned a lot from

them and that's where I get my strength

from there are so many families that

have marked me as being so strong and

I've learned from many of them, small

from small stuff like you know having to

lovies so whatever happened they were

always ready and had the lovines ready

to help the kids which I have taken to

heart and is doing with my son to like

more amazing things where they just put

the interests of their kids first above

everything else that you ain't even

wonder if he would be able to do the

same and i'm not sure like i just really

in all ways with our families

so I find my job extremely stressful in

the days when I'm here so are my days

off I make it a point to practice yoga

meditation getting outside when you

spend 60 minutes to 75 minutes on a mat

your mind settles I felt that yoga

meditation was actually calms my mind

that I could come in and be grounded and

calm for my job absolutely I would

recommend self-care to nurses as well as

I just had a conversation with a family

that went through in a quite a tragic

event how are you doing like what can

what can we do what can you do for

yourself to make sure that they're

looking after themselves as well as

their child within the hospital we have

to be a bit of a rock for the family

sometime you know so they can they have

someone to talk to either me or other

members of the team really and there's

days where it they help you as well

absolutely when you just see you know

the kids two days after something

they've been really unwell and three

days later they're in the playroom playing

and having a blast and it's just

incredible to see and for sure can

brighten your day

not only does the parents I mean even

babies I look at the baby and you know

the go through these open-heart surgeries

and it's so amazing just to see how

strong they are strength i see is over

you're actually numerous she's just very

patient you know even with chaos that's

happened around her and so many points

she's just been very calm she's looked

at us with eyes like don't worry I have

this I sit down with her and I talk to her

as an adult because she's going through

things I think we can googoo gaga and

let her know Zoes this is where we're

at this is what our options are and it's

up to you to determine where we go you

know even if she's sedated you know she

seems to understand on some level you

know what she needs to do goodness after

every single talk we've had zoe has

bounced back the number of times I walk

out of that room amazed and I don't know

whether to cry or to laugh it's

phenomenal it's um I think if you catch us

at the right moment we have a different

story to tell and each day even on

Zoe's bad days She, um she shows us

that there's going to be many stories to

come

Staying with our election coverage,... the frontrunner in the race, Moon Jae-in,... focused

on ways to address the issue of skyrocketing property prices.

The Democratic Party of Korea candidate said he would help low-income families get on the

property ladder by building more public housing.

On the road with the Moon camp,... is our Kim Hyun-bin.

Democratic Party of Korea candidate Moon Jae-in has pledged to build more public housing for

low-income families.

Moon said on Monday that although the country's housing supply rate is over 103 percent,...

meaning there are more homes than households to occupy them,... that's not the case in

major cities... and he pledged to build more public housing to fulfill the need.

"We will provide 170-thousand public housing units every year for those in the low-income

bracket struggling to find home.

Of that, our goal each year is to provide 130-thousand long-term public housing units

that are managed by the government... and 40-thousand units that are subsidized by the

government."

Moon also promised to allocate 30-percent of the subsidized housing units to the nation's

newlyweds.

Moon also vowed to set up a committee that will examine his pledge to move the presidential

office of Cheong Wa Dae from its current location in Jongno-gu District... to Gwanghwamun in

the heart of Seoul.

"I want to be a president who communicates with the people and opens a new era of democracy.

The move of the top office means I will be a president who works in the same environment

as his staff, a president who is available for discussion at all times and a president

who is open to debate with government officials."
