Hey guys, it's me Maggie J. Very quickly bringing you a second edition of Not So Sunny
Florida because there are that many stories. And because there was a terrible mishap with the filming last week and
there was just no saving it, so I filmed both episodes just now. You'll forgive me. Let's just get to the stories
Up to 60% of Florida's beaches are privately owned either by
individuals or companies and a new law proposed by Governor Rick Scott, HB 631,
gives hotels condominiums and private residences
more control over their privately owned bits of shoreline and will allow these owners to
Restrict access and kick out anyone they don't want there.
Which okay, they are property owners, and they should be allowed
But I'm not a beach owner
And I'd like to use some of that sand sometimes.
In some areas of Florida this can cause some big problems
I don't know why this needs to be proposed
Are beach property owners being held hostage in their homes by uninvited beach enthusiasts?
Maybe don't live on the beach if you don't want to be surrounded by people who love the beach
I'm not even sure what this means so I'll just keep an eye on what develops. Be sure to look twice
for public access after July 1st apparently
A teacher at University High School in Orange City--

University High School, Orange City
on April 2nd a teacher at
University High School in Orange City found a headless chicken in the parking lot and soon after found the head
inside of a coop at the school
along with some eggs that had been smashed around the gym.
The school resource officer had heard rumors that led to a
17 year old student at the school, David Andrew Jimenez, being arrested. It is thought, he bit the head off the chicken
simply to watch what happens next
Then he bragged about his actions to a few other students. Just like a teenager
What is going on with these teenagers that they are so heartless?
Teach your kids some compassion, parents of Florida!
I think that might be the most valuable lesson at this point
On Saturday April 7th a motorist in Sarasota caught this scary
Between a biker and a Mazda that left the biker with an injured knee and some potentially fractured ribs.
It appears that the Mazda did some quick braking, which pissed the biker off
But we don't know what happened before the video started since filming this segment. I found a different
Longer video that shows more of the exchange between these two
And I am even more convinced this biker was asking for it.
Once he scooted out and around that white bus thing that should have been the end of the story
But no
This guy wants to continue harassing the Mazda all the way down the street until the driver finally
reacts in the worst way possible
Second update the driver of the Mazda has been found
Magdiel Medrano-Bonilla of Sarasota
has admitted to driving the Mazda and text messages on his phone
indicate he "demolished" the Mazda
The car was found ruined with all of the doors, the trunk lid, and the license plate missing
Medrano-Bonilla is being held without bail in the custody of Immigrations and Customs Enforcement
Being charged with aggravated battery causing bodily harm and operating a motor vehicle without a valid driver's license
I'm not a fan of drivers who have no respect for motorcycles, but I'm really not a fan of overly aggressive bikers
I understand being mad
But what is your fist going to do to this other drivers attitude? Make him wise up and stop braking so suddenly?
While he's keeping an eye on the crazy biker who's punching his windows
I'm not sure what the intended outcome here was but I hope this biker enjoys having to replace all the plastic parts on his motorcycle
Because that is so much more fun than taking a different route or putting a little bit more distance between you and some other asshole
Santa Rosa County Sheriff pulled a car over near the Alabama border on April 3rd
The driver had a suspended license, which caused him to be taken to jail but not before he was caught putting something into his mouth
Officers tried to stop him and placed him under supervision at the jail. At nearly 6:00 a.m., The man admitted
He'd ingested about 7 grams of cocaine and was immediately transported to the hospital
but was dead before he arrived. The name of the victim has not been released and an investigation is underway.
I don't understand why he wasn't taken to the hospital immediately after eating
Whatever he did at the stop
I understand people are sneaky you might not want to go to the hospital for the next three or four hours while this guy gets checked
Out but because you didn't, now
He's dead. Driving with a suspended license while having cocaine is not really a good reason for an execution
But that's pretty much what happened here.
Just because you didn't pull the trigger on this guy doesn't mean you also didn't kill him, Santa Rosa County
You've got to be better than this
This viral video has gone around and around
entertaining millions who love to laugh at the misery of children.
I am not showing the whole thing however because the family of this poor little girl
Who is from Kissimmee is very angry that this footage was released at all.
The grandmother of the girl says the school did not have permission to record nor share photos or videos of the girl and they have
Signed a paperwork to reflect as much. I am very familiar with these photo releases and as a content creator
I assure you permission is not something to be scoffed at
Filming inside a private residence, or business especially filming minors who have not agreed to be filmed
is a big no-no and no matter how much you love snapchat or think sharing footage of people who are
Unawares is funny it can be a crime so be careful where you're filming and who is caught on the screen also
Whoever made the edit where Trump walks into the room and the logo freaks out. You are the winner of the Internet
I am always so proud when the Internet takes something good and makes it better. You keep that shit up netizens

Phu Trieu Tran recently received a letter letting him know he was not able to keep his pets inside his apartment anymore
And he would be charged eight hundred dollars for them being there
Tran decided to do the worst thing possible to get rid of his animals. He put them into the trash
compactor of his apartment building and turned it on
Luckily neighbors saw Tran carrying the cages of four birds
To rabbits and one guinea pig to the compactor and were able to put a stop to Tran's animal murders spree
But we're only able to save one bird and the two rabbits
Tran is being charged with four counts of animal cruelty
And I think somebody needs to go to those apartment complexes and give them a citation for being real assholes.
Who charges somebody eight hundred dollars for birds and rabbits?
Stop it! Pet deposits are not for caged animals. They're for dogs and cats
These apartment complexes think that they are God when it comes to making the rules
Ugh!
So frustrating
This is a tough story for me to talk about
On Super Bowl Sunday 2004
eleven-year-old Carlie Brucia was walking home when this piece of shit Joseph Smith
abducted her raped her killed her and left her body at the Central Church of Christ in Sarasota.
A video of her abduction was found and circulated and Smith later confessed to his crime and was sentenced to death by a jury in 2006.
In 2016 the Supreme Court of Florida ruled in Hurst v. Florida that juries must agree unanimously
to death penalty recommendations, or else the sentence cannot be imposed. This can be applied to cases going back as far as
2002 in Smith's case only 10 out of 12 jurors agreed to the death penalty so now this child murder's
Punishment has been vacated
And he will have to be resentenced by a new jury.
I'm beyond words about how sad and angry I am about this.
The Brucia family has been through hell since their daughter was taken from them and
Now this worthless fuck gets to manipulate the system into getting what he wants
I hope there is any way for the new jury to go ahead and give this guy the death penalty as well
Unanimously because there is no one more deserving of death than someone who preys upon children
