Hey everyone I'm Kyle Racki, the CEO of Proposify, and I'm Ricky Farris the
Chief Product Officer at Propsify, and we're excited to announce the launch of
Proposify 2. This has been a long time in the works, the team has been busy
at work for the last year and a half on Proposify 2, and we're going to announce it
to you guys and explain what's new in it, and why we've decided to rebuild Proposify
from the ground up and then the next steps involved if you want to
switch over and start using Proposify 2. So first of all, the reason why we
rebuilt Proposify instead of just upgrading the existing one really has to
do with being able to make sure we're using the latest technology in a way
that's going to make our product fast secure and scalable as we move forward.
The problem that we had where we had a lot of features inside the editor that our
users were not discovering because you had to right-click to get to the
properties and we decided that this just wasn't acceptable so we revamped, it we
looked at a lot of very popular editors and decided to take on the contextual
approach. Now when you select an element it will pop over to the side, all of
the options that are available to it. This would also enable us to move
forward to the tablet and mobile markets. In addition we're launching Proposify 2
with a couple of really cool features that users have been asking for
for a long time one of them is custom variables. So now you'll be able to
create your own fields that you can use to populate your proposals using
variables and also we have a much easier way of adding variables to proposals and
templates where you just have to hit the pound key type your variable and it will
fill in. We've added two key new integrations one is Basecamp 3 and
the other one is the all-new FreshBooks. With teams and roles we've improved
the level of control that admins have over the content. Now when you
create a team, and they create content, it's automatically blocked from everyone
else, as well as a few other smaller features that will definitely empower
admins to control the proposal process. So if you're an existing customer and you
want to switch over to Proposify 2 here's what you need to know. First of
all, if you're worried about are you gonna like it, we've
been testing this out for months, we've had all new customers going in to
Proposify 2, and the feedback has been very solid.
We think you're gonna love it. Once you're in, we're not actually able to
switch you back, so just know that once you move over then that's it, but that is
going to be the future of Proposify, it's what we're going be updating going
forward and adding a ton of great new features. There will be a banner that will
appear for all account admins within Proposify. It will ask them to migrate me,
yes switch me over. When they click that button they'll be added to a queue
where accounts will be, one at a time, transferred over into the new
Proposify 2. What this means is that all accounts won't be affected as single
accounts are moved over. During the actual migration process it should only
last a few minutes per account. If you have a very large proposal count, it will
take some time, you'll be hearing from some of our customers success
representatives to custom move you over at an appropriate time. We're really
proud of what the team here at Proposify has done, and we just actually raised
a round of investment for the company which we're going to use to make our
product even better, to get more people on our team, and ultimately to build the
best proposal app for you. So I want to thank you for all your support you've
given us to date, we wouldn't be here without our awesome customers thank you
so much, and I'm excited to hear what you think of Proposify 2.
