Youtube daily life style Apr 27 2018

what's up guys?! Welcome back to my channel! it's your girl Nattie Boss -

registered dietitian, fitness coach and lifestyle coach of bodybyboss.com!

Today I'm bringing you a little bit of a life update as well as a project that

I'm working on it's a personal project I'm going to do something to challenge

my fitness last time I've done something like this was when I did bodybuilding

and I really haven't done anything to challenge myself since then so that's

what I am doing and I want to tell you all about it so for those who might not

know what Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is you can kind of think of MMA and whatever they

do on the ground is most likely some form of jiu-jitsu it's a grappling

martial art and I compete a lot in jiu-jitsu and specifically I compete at

a weight class known as featherweight and this is between 120 to 129 a lot of

you guys let me know that I walk around about 125 so this is the weight class

I've been doing for many years now but recently I had a super fight and when I

weighed in at my way into the night before I noticed I was 122 which is one

of the lightest weights I've been since my bodybuilding competition so I was

kind of it kind of sparked an interest in me and I was like maybe I should try

to do light feather for one of my next tournaments because I was already so

close so light feather is the weight class right underneath feather and that

is from don't quote me on this I'm not exactly sure I know I don't know where

it starts from maybe 108 or something like that but it ends at 118 and you

have to be 118 in your uniform known as your key and so I'm going to be trying

to cut to about 115 so I have that 3 pound weight for my G so this is going

to be a big challenge I've never had to cut this much weight before especially

being already super lean so it's going to be a challenge I already know that

and I'm going to make sure I do it in the most healthful way possible and

there is nothing that is more important to me than my health and wellness

physically and mentally so if I feel that I'm really struggling towards the

end and I might to do it then I am going to call off all

bats and I'm just going to fight in my feather weight class but I want to

attempt to do light feather and will do everything my power to do that I am

aiming for my world championship tournament which is in California the

end of May like May 30th - like June 3rd around that area

so I have over a month about maybe six weeks or so to cut seven pounds or so so

I know that I can do this I'm super excited for this journey and again I'm

gonna be a hangry girl because I'm gonna have to be cut in some foods but I am

excited to implement all of the tricks and tips and knowledge that I share with

you guys on my youtube channel on my Instagram and to put myself to the test

to do this I did the same thing with my bodybuilding competition and I'm excited

to do this for jujitsu why am I doing this I'm simply doing

this because like I said I wanted to challenge myself I haven't done it in a

while I've been basically got complacent I've been happy where I was at 125 but

you know I just wanted to add that little bit of an extra fitness challenge

since I was already weighing in out of the low weight it kind of gave me some

motivation that I didn't have that much to lose to really get to that goal of

115 so I quickly wanted to go over what are the methods I'm going to be using on

a kind of broad scale in both nutrition training supplements and just like

relaxation and recovery techniques let's start with nutrition you guys probably

know by now I'm plant-based I'm vegan so I'll be sticking to that way I am

definitely gonna be doing high protein high fat I am not counting calories by

any means I'm going to be intuitive but I'm going to eat lots of vegetables I'm

gonna make sure I get a variety of different vegetables in because I need

to get nutrients from all of those but I'm really excited about this this is

when I feel my best right now so I just I can't wait to just continue this and

to see where it takes me as far as my training I'll be training jiu-jitsu as

much as possible you know six days a week five days a week that's probably my

goal I do want at least one rest day it'll probably be a Saturday when it

comes to jiu-jitsu so that's my goal about five six days a week four digits

ooh and my cross-training is going to be lifting you guys know I love lifting so

that's not gonna stop I'm going to be shooting for four to five days of

lifting as long as possible and I'll start tapering that off as I get closer

to tournament so I can start to really recover and be at my ideal peak

performance for that tournament and as far as supplements is concerned I'm

going to be doing multivitamin as much as possible it's really hard for me to

stick to them I just I just really suck at like pill regimen I just I really

suck at them so I'm going to do trying to do a multivitamin as much as possible

especially when you are doing a cut and you're just even if you're eating all

the veggies in the world you're just not gonna get all the nutrients every single

new Trant and the amount that you need to

fuel your inside body as much as possible so multivitamins are super

essential especially when you're vegan I'm already at a basically a deficit

because it's harder to get nutrients that are more bioavailable so

multivitamin is a must as much as possible I'm going to be doing that and

some of my PPI supplements I'll be doing boom out my glutamine this is good for

recovery so I'll be sipping on this after my training after the gym things

like that also my branched chain amino acids from BPI sports so same thing

helps with maintaining that muscle mass as I begin as I continue to lose weight

it's gonna come to a point where I'm going to have such low body fat some of

my muscle is probably going to be sacrifice and this is gonna help

minimize that as much as possible so I will be sipping on this literally all

the time to make sure that my body is constantly getting those amino acids so

it can continue to build muscle and one I didn't bring because it's at the gym

and CLA and carnitine which is a fat loss nam stimulant powder from BPI

sports my favorite supplement especially the flavor of snowcone but that just

helps to convert any fat in your body to energy so being on a keto style diet

being high protein high fat that's going to help enhance that process so those

are the supplements I'll be taking if anything changes I will definitely let

you know but the last thing we're gonna cover before I wrap up this video I know

it's getting a little long but I just wanted to like update you on this

project and by the way this is called project light feather so every time I

hashtag this it's going to be in relation to this so if you're interested

in following along this journey make sure that you stay tuned for project

like their videos and hashtags and things like that but lastly how I'm

going to enhance my recovery not only will I be doing the glutamine supplement

but I am going to make sure that I get massages very frequently when you're

putting it under a lot of stress but I'm doing two days at the gym and eating you

know it's a deficit of calories I have to kind of I have to take care of my

body in a different way so that it doesn't

feel like it's under constant stress and massaging can help to do that

I may try cryotherapy or things like that that'll probably later in the month

before closer to the tournament but I'll keep you posted on that and the second

thing I'll be doing is CBD oil this is great great great for any pains and

aches that any athlete or anybody has I seriously highly recommends to be de oil

and in addition to just reducing the aches and pains from training all the

time which are going to be inevitable they it helps to decrease inflammation

in the body as a whole so less inflammation means my recovery time is

going to be better which means I'll be able to perform at

my best so guys this is an overview of what I'll be doing for project like

feather if this is something of interest to you make sure you comment what you'd

be interested in me sharing over the next few months or so as far as recipes

or workouts what's your interest I want to know comment below don't forget to

give this video a thumbs up subscribe to my channel and I will see you in the

next video thanks for watching guys

ULTIMATE VEGAN TACO MEAT // van life cooking - Duration: 11:01.

wicka wicka wicka welcome back to another freestyle Friday every single

week we're gonna cook it my way recipes are free you know I keep it hot so grab

a pen and paper I'll show you what I got what I got what I got today guys is a

great recipe it's inspired by many many other recipes but I've got my own little

spin on it it's meat meat is one of those things that kind of pull a whole

meal together and before I was vegan it was kind of like you would build your

meal around the meat like hey what do you him for dinner night I'm having

chicken and then he would might have asparagus potatoes on the side so meat

was like super super difficult to give up as a vegan but this recipe holy

smokers throwing it back to ground beef which when I say now in my head it's

like not down with the brown beef but today it's a ground beef made from

lentils boom hit him with the protein walnuts boom heading up the protein and

beets boom hit him at the 15 that's it and then there's some spices in it and

the way you prepare it's got a crunch factor it's delicious you could put it

in lasagna you could put it in literally anything pasta sauce whatever you use

ground beef for today we're gonna make like taco style lettuce wraps because

you know I'm trying to get that fit bod this summer right by the way we got some

new sponsors today just kidding we're back with chai wallah they're the

most reliable sponsor we have but if you'd like to sponsor the video get in

touch I'll be happy to take a ten dollar Target gift card I'm gonna leave that to

the side today we're gonna start with our lentils so I got two cans of lentils

I'm gonna pop those open good can opener save you a lot of time random buddy

so we're gonna head go ahead and drain those lentils if we jump the gun a

little bit we got to go back to the walnuts forgotten the lentils come wait

the walnuts we're gonna toast so I had toasted nut versus a nun bro you're

moving on you know if you guys can hear that I sorry I'm sorry about the truck

there yeah we're gonna toast up there we go how much am I gonna put in there I'm

gonna put in like just over half and when you go right into a dry pan you

don't go now because we're only using half the big pack of walnuts you're

gonna go ahead and take that top that you throw out in the garbage you put

that back on you're toasting nuts goes for any kind of nuts you want to keep an

eye on them today all of a sudden just go really quickly you don't want to burn

them you just want to extract some of those oils and you'll get like a deeper

range of flavor so you keep an eye on those I got those on like a medium heat

we got two cans of lentils so the first can we're actually gonna bust up we're

gonna make it to kind of a mash and the second one we're gonna use it as whole

whole lentils just to add a little bit of range and texture meat is really

about texture and that's what makes it so difficult so this is not gonna have

the exact same texture as Gumby but it's gonna be pretty similar as far as the

flavors go we're gonna add some spices and get like a kind of a meaty vibe

going you can go ahead and pulse that up and just turn it into it don't think

I've had enough chai tea today so just give me a second

not confession and two rookie mistakes today I apologize but we don't want to

put those in there yet we got our lentils rippen's see they're already

starting to go okay so we're gonna put that into your Vitamix empty because

we're gonna pulse we're gonna bust that down it's too big right now so you just

pulsing it perfect so you got a couple bigger pieces a couple smaller pieces

that's gonna make a good consistency now we're gonna come back to our lentils

boom see that okay so that's what we're looking for a nice paste that's gonna go

right into our bowls well you have a Vitamix guys want to go ahead and get

one of these I had like a you know a big spatula I

think this is called and there's a bit of controversy over that actually

because not everyone thinks this is called a spatula some people refer to

spatula this it's not incorrect my mind goes to this and I think spatula this is

may be called a flipper introduce freestyle Friday's new pole

is this a spatula go ahead and cast your vote Co nice and this gets in the

crevices of the Vitamix you know what Vitamix if you guys are watching you

should include one of these with every purchase that would be first-class so

that's all mixed in together beauty now we're gonna take our other can of

lentils I'm gonna drain that a lot of salt in canned lentils guys so you know

if I had more space I would definitely be into like bulk purchasing so you can

buy like dried lentils in like a huge pack and they're not that difficult to

soak you can soak them or boil them or whatever

and it tastes the same but this is just so much more convenient for somebody who

lives in a tiny house and I'm gonna add that right into here

as well and we're gonna go ahead add a 1/2 kan of the beams the booze you could

add a half can but it's like what are you really gonna do with that other hop

so I'm not a fan of wasting we're getting to a full count now we can just

mix that all together the spices that we're gonna add today we're gonna look

for a little bit of oregano little bit cumin that one a little bit olive oil

that one and a little bit of salt and you know I like it huh so I'm gonna

throw some pepper 1 tablespoon that's a lot that's too much

we're going back and that is about what do you think guys

I would say about a tablespoon cumin same thing tablespoon salt

always salt more later we're gonna have to mix that little bit of olive oil

extra virgin I just like my women

your beard bothering you it's a ponder

basically that's it guys you've got your mix so now you could actually add that

to a beef bone edge you could you know make a what else could be I don't know

what people use gum before but like people buy a lot of ground beef so you

could use that for anything today I'm going to show you a taco style wrap this

is like a taco meat kind of vibe to tuck us all brown okay so I'm gonna go ahead

and heat some of this up

bro we're trying to film a video here that's right yeah you keep going Penske

done all I've done called up Andy I said hey Andy boy you got any domain

you need roll man without box let's look for a nice piece here keep an eye on

your meat it's starting to brown a little bit on the bottom there it's a

little beanie for my liking guys but rather not waste so we went a little

hard with the bean for that home yes you're just gonna grab a full you're

full pieces of romaine that looks like beauty I know it doesn't look good but

just wait you just wait till you try this

who's got the Dyson okay cameraman just informed me that you're cooking so good

we are thank you so we got that just a little bit crispy it's nice and hot you

want to serve your meat hot meat all I've done here is it just sauteed some

peppers I got a red pepper a orange pepper and a red onion

it's not look beautiful important when you're cooking your peppers guys start

with your onion hit it low and slow get a little build up the flavors let them

just get low soften up and then crank it up high when you throw those peps on and

you want a little bit of char I like my pepper like almost like overcooked now

I've also prepared a guacamole style avocado so this is literally avocado

dill a little bit of dill pickle liquid and Sorachi and i just whip that in the

Vitamix I'm gonna go ahead and drizzle that on you can grab these little

squeezy bottles from the dollar store add a little lime to your dish you guys

tuned in last week you no no no you would know I kept at og with the cashew

cream hid that on as well dollar store pulse boom you've got a

deluxe gangster lettuce wrap with homemade taco meat what you guys saying

about that hope you enjoyed the video I hope you guys find it helpful if you did

let me know please tag me in your photos I'm loving the tags you guys are

inspiring me to make more recipes to get a little bit more creative in the

kitchen that's all I have for you today I will see you next time next week on an

episode of Friday he's probably gonna start with the

crunch side this has got a nice location like a local Coon I feel a little more

confident without the back you know that one with mice all right the cashew cream

is absolutely dancing with the avocado butter banger

you guys are allergic to walnuts you could try and play around with pumpkin

seeds they've got a similar crunch back duck if you're allergic to cashews you

can do like a vegan Mayo or you could just kick it oh gee with the avocado a

nice option would be a salsa you can throw a sauce on there diced tomato

you're the chef let me know

Life Perspective | THE KIND OF SWIMWEAR PLUS SIZE WOMEN SHOULD GO FOR! - Duration: 8:20.

THE KIND OF SWIMWEAR PLUS SIZE WOMEN SHOULD GO FOR!

#PlusSizeWomen are always seen to wear dresses that cover their entire body so that they

can hide their curves and bulges.

In this scenario, swim suits or bikini does not seem to match with the trend as that exposes

the body structure to a greater extent.

#OverSizedWomen also feels the excitement to wear swimming costumes and flaunt on the

beach with full confidence, but what forbids them to do so is the feeble mentality of few

people who would stare at them not to adore their grace but to laugh at their excesses.

Instead of completely avoiding to wear swimming costumes or #BikiniPlusSize women should go

for a different type of swimwears.

Here are some tips that will help all the over-weight women to chuck out a perfect swimsuit

for themselves.

Swimsuits Plus SizePeekaboo Swimsuit – The fat that gets accumulated in the belly of

all the #PlusSizeWomen is a matter of great concern as almost all the swimwear exposes

this portion of the body.

The peekaboo swimsuit will be a great move on the part for all the #PlusSizeWomen as

this will enable them to hide their bulgy stomach and expose only that much which is

preferable.

So, it is a big revolution for all those with a big tummy.

One-piece Swimsuit – The over-sized women can confidently select one-piece swimsuit

for them rather than those stringed ones.

As it helps to cover most of the chubs of the upper portion of their body.

This kind of swimwears adds a bold and sexy turn to your appearance.

Since, fat women are always suggested to avoid exaggerating prints and patterns this one-piece

swimsuit can turn out to be an exact replacement.

The Fatkini – #Fatkini is the ultimate choice for all the plus-size women who love to wear

swimsuits and bikini, it is different from the peekaboos but still manages to hide your

belly to a greater extent and if you have back boobies then this is the exact answer

that will go hand-in-hand with your body type as well as with the fashion trends.

Bright Colours – Avoid wearing bright colored swimsuits as that tends to highlight your

over all body structure.

For plus-size women it is always preferable to go for dimmed color swimwears since swimsuits

and bikini already brings a loud look to your appearance, the bright colors will just add

an extra element to it that would not sound as happening as you wished for.

Stephanie on Life After Going Public With Her Assault | Cosmopolitan - Duration: 2:40.

About a year and a half ago I did a video on my sexual assault, and it went viral.

The majority of the people in my life found out about my rape through the video that I made.

They didn't know that that was the reason that my hair was falling out.

I was sexually assaulted by someone I did not know.

Doing the video, saying it aloud, and really breaking down the story and my feelings and

sentiments absolutely was a release.

Announcer: Conversations with Maria Menounos!

Maria: I had read an article on Cosmopolitan about what had happened.

I had like close to five hundred messages in my Facebook,

and it was people telling me everything that happened.

More and more females were telling me that the same thing had happened to them.

I had then asked, what did you do about it?

And most of them had said they had said nothing to no one until me.

I thought that that was my healing process.

I thought that it had ended there.

Yeah, I thought I wasn't a rape victim, I can still go out and have sex.

Sex is so beautiful, but...

Yeah, sorry.

But it's like, you want to enjoy someone else.

You want that person to enjoy you.

To see you for only that.

Not to see you as something damaged.

Um, and that was hard, but I had to, you know, I took my break.

I saw what I was doing to make myself feel better, to make myself...

Feel like a woman.

I tried to act as if, okay, everything's done again.

It's putting in the work for yourself.

Talking about it.

Therapy is where I found out that I was angry.

Where I realized I was never using the word "rape" I could only say "sexual assault".

Again, owning what happened to you.

Okay, even though I'm bald, I gotta stay fresh.

Self-reflection.

Prayer.

Meditation.

Everything.

And it just helped, you know.

My painting and like, acting too, these are all like different outlets.

Absolutely there's healing in saying it out loud.

Because you have to hear it, you have to accept it, you have to acknowledge it.

Fix yourself first, and then speak out.

Then you can approach the situation not so emotionally.

See it for what it was and put yourself in a position to not be dismissed.

I think, as women, that's very important as well.

Because, fact of the matter is, people are just gonna dismiss it because all we're doing is,

we're just a bunch of females right now, running our mouths about all these men who

have harassed us.

We are humans, we are not animals, we are capable of having the conversation

of being angry about it, discussing it, but enlightening ourselves, learning from it.

What happened to me does not define me.

It's how I react to it.

It's what I do afterwards.

For those of you who remember the video, the last image of me,

that's not what's gonna live forever.

What's gonna live forever is this.

and now it's starting to grow and we have over 115 articles I think at least

110 there might even be 115 or hopefully by the time you receive

this there will be 115. We are now on Instagram so I wanted to tell you that

it's instagram.com slash you know it's the @ conscious like well you don't have to put that

symbol whatever we're now on Instagram conscious life

space all one word as our username and then also Twitter its consciouslifesp

the SP because they have a limit of their words (oops I mean letters) and then we are also on

Pinterest which is consciouslifespace and we're really starting to build a

beautiful collection of boards now and then also I really wanted to also let you

know not just about okay so we have the social media stuff but last month I

shared a gratitude of course it's a seven day course which you can do it

self-paced you can do it in seven weeks so you can do it in seven days it's all

up to you all of the material in the course is actually recorded so even the

articles if you wanted to just download the mp3s you could do that and you can

listen to all the articles and in your car when you're going to work or um that

way but there's also downloadable worksheets, there's other things so

excuse me you should really just check that out it's like conscious - life -

space dot teachable dot com besides the gratitude of course there's actually

which I'm actually going to be adding some to the various articles that are

already posted but there are some other kinds of like freebies on there there's

some journal pages that you can download and print at your home printer or you

can just have a printed somewhere so you can you know make a little notebook with

free pretty pages so that you can keep a journal

keep tabs on yourself share your thoughts

okay so there's journal pages there's also some kinds I'm working on a one

article that is a really great article if I do say so myself it's actually a

plant succession article and it goes from like the early spring until the

fall like how when plants bloom and it has about 30 different plants and I'm

actually creating a kind of little downloadable book with all the pictures

of the plants because the article itself doesn't have pictures and this way

you'll be able to see the types at least one example of a plant like obviously

like there's a I'm not even sure how to pronounce a lot of these names of plants

but I think it's like the primula its primula that plant is a beautiful

plant that comes in early spring and there's so many different colors and

there's different varieties I mean you can kind of see from them that they're

all the same plant but they all have different colored flowers some do

have a little bit differences so you can kinda see that they're the same family

but so they'll have a picture of one them so if you've never maybe you've

seen one and you didn't know what it was called so that is in the works right now

I am also interested in doing some other long-term projects which I will share in

the next newsletter video but you know actually I didn't even mention this so

there is a YouTube channel where this video is being posted even though I'm

including it in the newsletter is I'm not allowed to have my own name or

whatever my conscious life space name yet if you did a search for YouTube and

conscious life space you would find it but it's like some weird bunch of code

numbers or whatever you know when you're a newer channel you only get codes you

can't use your name yet so anyway I will put a link in the newsletter so you can

find it and I would really love it if you would subscribe I started the vlog

part at the end of August last year and there's like 25 or 30 videos now and I

would like to do more I'm really interested in knowing what kinds of

topics I do that you'd be interested in actually am going to be including some

interviews in the future with various people and there is one lined up that we

will record next week and probably publish in about two weeks but I want I

would really love to have feedback on what topics that you are really

interested in more are you interested in like managing your plastic garbage and

composting are you interested in yoga and meditation or are you interested in

self motivation kind of personal development things the last thing which

is important is there something called gdpr

and it's a data privacy law that any website that has people in the european

union that read their website it's a data protection law to protect the

citizens of the EU so it's a little more strict than what the United States has

and the United States has varying laws depending on the states so basically the

main thing is I want you to know that there is a 10-page privacy policy

It probably could've been 8 because there are some opinions and things

the top and at the bottom and I talked about the purpose of the blog there

also but I want you to know that no personalized data is ever kept or nothing

is ever sold the only personalized data that is actually received is from you as

your name and your email address if you've signed up for a newsletter or if

you decided to download a journal pages or you download something else that is

offered on the site there's no um and it's never sold to anybody, it's never given

to anybody the other data that is collected and that's usually with

cookies that are for analytics and it tells us things like who is reading

what page - not who sorry, let's clear that up it tells us things like who is

reading how many people are reading articles on yoga how many people are

reading articles on pollution how many people are reading articles on happiness

and gratitude how many people are reading articles on you know how many

people are looking at the explore page which is set up to help you find a

different article this kind of thing it's just it's more so that we can

personalize the experience of like how what is presented to you not to

manipulate you for marketing purposes I mean obviously we're all in a business

so everybody who makes a their life's work they're you know, it's a business

that we live in a world where we need money or whatever but it's it's not

about trying to manipulate you to get you to buy like a Lexus or whatever

oh I don't even know if they make Lexus's anymore it's it's not it's not about that

it's really more to know what is the main things that you're attracted to so

that I can provide better information in the long run, please subscribe to this

channel also I think I said that already Please subscribe and please follow on

Instagram and Pinterest I'm rambling alright thanks for watching and I hope

you have a great day! Bye!

Work and life Balance - Duration: 6:31.

Hey there in good morning everybody Steve Brossman here and welcome to

another finish hard Friday now finish hard Friday normally it's all

about how to accelerate through to the weekend get the most out of what you've

done through the week for those of you who are in Australia the mid of the

middle of the week was celebrating Anzac Day I put a post out all about all about

being thankful for the freedom the great country that we had and the people that

sacrificed their lives to give us this now today's post is all about work life

balance and it's about also quite 9 o'clock I'm a little late so far this

morning I've been up I've done my mindset reading I've actually written

and prepared another 5 to 10 pages of a great new course that I'm doing and

putting together had breakfast with my boy and and now I'm just doing the

livestream for you and it's about the time that most people get up and go to

work and in that time I spent about 45 minutes listening to two of the smartest

brains in the world simon Sinek and seth godin together on a live stream

just answering questions answering pre-prepared questions that people had

from a live audience and also from the live stream and you cannot get two of

the best minds in the world like this answering some great questions now one

of the questions that they did have and I'm really interested in your take on

this it was all about work/life balance and what you think about work-life

balance let me tell you what the Simonson X first comment about work-life

balance was and balance as he said was an equilibrium of two opposing forces

where there is balance between two opposing forces and that's assuming that

work and life as in your lifestyle are opposing forces and that's where people

get into trouble as try having work-life balance I think work-life balance came

into the eighth eighth eighth rule back in the days where there was you work for

eight hours you off for eight hours and you slept for

eight hours and that's what may be the work-life balance is all about hey Timmy

good on you guys day and Steve Shan heap of you guys jumping on board now

work-life balance to me it's all about work-life integration most of you who do

work are accessible even if you're an employer you're accessible 24/7 you can

access your work 24/7 I tell people I'm a 24/7 24/7 dad if I need to access and

do some work I can do it at any time of the day if I need to be there for my boy

I can be there at any time of the bay at time of the day so to me it's all about

work-life integration now going back to what simon Sinek said about work and

life being opposing forces or being seen as opposing forces that's where people

struggle because to me work and life is not an opposing force it's an

integration it is a passion of mine I get up every day generally now it's 4:30

5 o'clock I get up every day excited to be doing what I'm doing and to be

building some new programs so one of the hey Timmy flip it around work-life

balance has the priorities in the right order yeah get your priorities right but

first and foremost get your passion right you should be passionate about

your life you should be passionate about what you do find something in what you

do that you can be passionate about getting passionate about the results

that you get for other people sometimes the doing is not that sexy and you may

not be passionate about some of the doing but you can be passionate about

some of the results you are getting for your people so one of the biggest things

to me in work-life balance that work-life integration is to find

something that gets you excited about what you do and how you're doing it then

the actual integration just falls into place now as we're heading to the

weekend I bet some of you may be having your phone switched on jumping on social

media answering emails taking calls doing things like that and that's okay

as long as you're doing the other side of the coin that you ask

King off now if you've heard some of my previous posts you know that I'm a

marketer background as a professional sprinter life is not a marathon life is

not a long slow grind journey life should be a series of sprints that's

where you get momentum when you take off you sprint hard and then you can stop

then you can relax then you can totally switch off so when you've got your

sprinting happening sprint hard play hard work hard play hard rest hard

recuperate because if you're just doing a long slow drag of a marathon and not

getting excited about anything at all then it's a real drag and you feel as if

there is no work-life balance there is no work-life integration it is all a

drag so make sure that you have your light and your shades during your day

during your week make sure that you can have your breaks that you do chunk

blocks working blocks switch off have a have a recovery break and do it I've

already got planned that I'm gonna work now for another hour and a half two

hours and then got planned to stop and have a workout with my boy we're gonna

break we're gonna do some stuff together and then we're going to go back to what

we do have those breaks have that integration and make sure that you're

doing and you're enjoying what you're doing try and find that some thing that

you're passionate about doing that you can get paid for and then you can help

and add value to other people anyhow I'm just sharing something that I

heard from two of the greatest minds my take on what they said simon Sinek and

seth godin on one live stream was absolutely brilliant if you can find it

on facebook watch it they have answered some brilliant questions and i look

forward to seeing you guys hey thanks for dropping by hey Hugh how you doing

buddy thanks for dropping by all you guys and try and look at what you can do

for your work-life integration spread hard rest hard play hard and I'll see

you on Monday take care Cheers
