Hi again. We are with you in the third part of our videos about the lifestyle of the village people.

There are many ancient tombs here. However, their survival and history are not fully explored.

Climate conditions in this region are very difficult.

It is very hot in summer, but it is very cold and windy in winter.

Flora is not very rich. In this climate, plants and trees do not live much.

However, there are good conditions for creeping animals.

The children never leave us alone, very good people.

Now the people of the village are going to get milk from the sheep.

The villagers usually take milk from the sheep at the end of the spring.

Getting milk from sheep is not an easy job.

The people of the village know all the sheep. They know which sheep will give more milk.

Sheep milk is very delicious.

Young children and elders always watch the milking process.

The milk obtained from the sheep is equally dividing among the villagers.

Everyone gets their own milk, goes home and prepares to make cheese.

How to make Hotel Style Coconut Chutney - Duration: 1:58.

Coconut - Half cup, Garlic -1 clove, Salt as needed, Green chilly - 1, Water as required, Roasted channa dhal - 2tbsp

Grind all the ingredients to be blended in a mixer and make a paste

Transfer the chutney in a bowl

For tempering, add oil in a hot kadai

Add mustard seeds when oil is hot

Add the Urad dhal when all the mustard seeds sputtered

Add Red chillies

Add Curry leaves

Switch off the stove and add Hing

Add this tempering into chutney and mix well

Hi I'm Mike.

6 years ago today, we lost the man that brought us into this world.

Not my father, but a man that I would have been glad to call my dad.

His name was Gilbert and without him, me, Erin our kids, our entire family and you included,

wouldnt be where we are today right now, right here on Our Wyoming Life.

Welcome to Our Wyoming Life, if this is your first time here, please subscribe and come

along with us as we explore the ranch life and escape the ordinary and if you have been

here with us before, thanks for coming back and being a part of our lives.

A life that we never would have dreamt for ourselves, a life that really when it comes

down to it is all thanks to one person.

His name was Gilbert Oedekoven and he was my father in law.

Gilbert ranched his entire life, he worked many different jobs to support his ranching

habit and was successful at it.

For him, the ranch was his whole life, it was so very important to him and I though

that today I would share with you why it was not only important to him but also to us.

10 years ago both Erin, my wife, and I were working corporate jobs in radio, we both thought

that career would last us the rest of our lives.

That we would end up buying a house, settling down, maybe having a family and living the

american dream, white picket fence, that kind of thing.

Little did we know that in October of that year our lives would be turned upside down.

Gilberts health was failing, and right then he needed help to work his Wyoming ranch.

We took a 15 years in a career and quit.

We didnt know anything about ranching, our meat came from the grocery store, visting

the farmers market was a way to escape the office and kill an afternoon and we would

buy kettle corn and walk around enjoying the sunshine and then the next day go to the store

and buy our vegetables there, not even realizing that just the day before, the guy that was

selling his tomatoes, or corn or brocolli was counting on his sales to feed his family.

Since we came to the ranch we have learned alot, we've grown as people, we've maybe even

become better people and when we lost Gilbert 6 years ago we were thrust into a whole new

level of this experience.

Gilbert taught me alot, but no where near everything I needed to know to do this job

right, and successfully.

A year or so ago we started this youtube channel and I know its gonna sound weird but bringing

you along for the ride has taught me more than I have learned over the past few years

out here.

We release videos from the ranch 3 times per week and I rarely struggle with what to make

a video about, but this week has been a little hard for me.

Its not like we are lacking anything to do, we are calving.

We have storms moving in almost every night, I'm out checking cows constantly day and night

but I wanted to do something today only to honor Gilbert a little bit but maybe something

that would explain why he did this for more than 70 years of his life and why we plan

on doing the same thing.

In the US the average american eats 55 lbs of beef per year, total beef consumption was

over 24 billion pounds last year, Thats enough beef to fill the Houston astrodome from floor

to ceiling 14 times.

A lot of that beef starts on small family ranches just like this one.

In fact most of them are smaller.

The average herd size in the US is only 40 cows.

There are around 800,000 beef cattle operations in the US, but farm and ranch families only

make up 2% of the US population and one US farm feeds on average of 165 people per year.

But to be perfectly honest, all of these numbers dont mean much to the average rancher or farmer.

Its impressive when you look at it, when you hear the numbers.

But if I could go back and ask Gilbert why he did this for his entire life, his answer

would probably surprise us all.

I think Gilbert would have said, because he could.

I dont think he ever thought about how much beef an average person ate, or how many families

he fed.

Truth is though, he worked hard his entire life to get us where we are today.

A.side from ranching, he drove one of the first taxi's in our county, he used to mow

the runway at the airport before it was concrete and he worked for the local grain elevator,

where rumor is that he got fired everyday and still came back the next morning and went

to work again like nothing every happened.

Sitting here in the shop, where he used to come and hang out for hours every day.

Just enjoying being on the ranch.

Toward the end of Gilberts life, he lived in town, he didnt live on the ranch and I

used to drive him every single day.

He would go out and putz around on his gator or like I said sit in the shop.

I used to think it was weird.

Of course those were my first years here.

The longer I'm here, I find myself doing the same thing.

Just enjoying the ranch life.

Gilbert is still on the ranch in a way, in fact he buried right here, I dont think there

is any place he'd rather be.

I'm going to let it go there, its a holiday.

Go enjoy time with your families.

As you sit down and eat, think about all the Gilberts of the world that gave us what we

have today, that helped put that food on our plates, that give us a chance to sit around

the table with people we maybe dont get to see that often or get to connect with.

I know this has been a different kind of episode than you are used to, but we will be back

next week on Tuesday with the project list and we will get more done around here.

Erin is back this week in the gardens.

Calving will continue and ramp up even more, we've got 15 calves now on the ground and

a whole lot more to come.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A MED SCHOOL STUDENT! (micu rotation) - Duration: 9:34.

Hey guys!

It's early morning about 5 AM.

I'm walking to the train station... in a little bit of a hurry to catch my train to go to

the hospital.

The cool thing about being at the train station this early is that it's empty for the most

part.

So you have the whole place to yourself.

But also one of the downsides of coming to the train station this early is that the train

takes forever.

I'm currently on my way to the hospital for my final rotation of medical school.

I'm doing my MICU rotation and MICU stands for medical ICU or medical intensive care

unit.

As a fourth year medical student I'm taking care of not that many patients--actually just

one right now but there's a lot of complex things going on with the patients.

So it can be a very emotionally draining place, the ICU, because the patients are sicker and

there is families.

It's a great place to learn and I think it's a great place to kind of finish out my medical

education.

So I'm on way to go see my patient... my patient but also all the other patients on the floor.

So now that I'm settled in the train, I'll tell you guys a little bit about my morning

schedule.

I have to get to the hospital a little before 7.

At 7 o'clock is when sign outs happens and sign outs is basically when the night team

updates the day team on anything that happens overnight like if there has been any new patients

and basically anything that the night team would want the day team to follow up on.

So that takes usually about 15 to 30 minutes depending on how many patients you have.

So let's say from 7:30 to 9 o'clock is when you pre-round on your patients, so you see

all your patients, you talk to the nurses, you check up on any labs, or any imaging that

came back from the previous day and you just basically prepare to present all your patients

to your attending.

And in about 9 o'clock you meet up with the attending, sometimes there's also a critical

care fellow.

Rounding takes anywhere from two hours to two and a half hours.

So it can go right until lunch time and that's when I grab lunch.

Alright so we just got out of MICU.

Alright so tell us what you did today, or what we did today.

So today, on our MICU rotation, we did some procedures, we helped doing a central line

placement, got some ABGs, some cardiac echogram.

You have to explain some of these....things so that they are understandable to people

who are not in medical school.

Sure!

So we put in a central line today for a patient who basically... their lines weren't sufficient

for peripheral access.

So basically it's a sterile procedure where the resident or the attending comes in and

treats them in sterile fashion and you essentially use ultrasound guidance to get access to the

internal jugular vein.

So basically.... none of those are layman's terms.

Okay...

Basically... normally you get like an IV, you get a stick so people can take blood out

of you or give you fluids or something but this person had really bad lines on the veins

on the arms or basically the peripheral side of the body.

You have a big vein on your neck so that's where we put in the line.

So you'll have good access that way.

And that way you can give certain medications to the central line like antibiotics, you

can give blood, ppn, so it just gives greater access to a wide variety of stuff.

We also saw a bedside para, (paracentesis) which is taking out fluid from somebody's

belly.

They have like liver problems, they can have a lot of fluid inside their belly and it's

very uncomfortable and it can compress things.

So you put basically a needle in and all the fluids comes out.

So with that, you also use ultrasound guidance like I said before and in this patient, we

pulled out 6 liters of fluid--it was a lot.

So that's quiet a lot of fluid if you think about it.

So we're done.

We're done for the day.

I'm on my way home.

I didn't get to eat lunch today because we had a lot of procedures and some pretty sick

patients but the good thing about skipping lunch and going straight through procedures

is that you get to go home early.

So I'm just getting home from the hospital.

These commutes get me really really tired.

So it's really really important that I don't like down.

If I lay down I'm gonna most definitely take a nap.

So it's really important that I keep moving.

So I'm just gonna have a little snack and then I'm gonna go out to work out.

I'm gonna head out to the gym.

I will feed Candy.

I've been invited to Hogwarts to be a wizard.

And the sorting hat tells me I'm gonna be an Emergency Medicine doctor.

The package was actually my graduation gown and unlike the undergrad, it comes with a

cape or like a wing of some sort.

Which I'm not sure how it's supposed to go exactly but also comes with a cute little

baret like hat.

And overall, it's very regal looking.

This whole thing was like $190 dollars and I'm really just gonna wear it once on graduation

day so you know that's great.

So I'll be wearing this sometime in early May for my graduation.

I got these airpods for my birthday from bae!

So I'm gonna try them out at the gym.

So I'm back from the gym now and it's about 7 o'clock and tonight instead of cooking dinner

I am a navy officer, I am in the sea now

now I am going to tell the reason of my video

you have seen in YouTube that in every year many racing pigeon are raced from South China sea by ship.

Which navigate a thousands of mile and bids in high price

an interesting matter is

our ship is going through South China Sea and two racer pigeons have came to the ship for two days.

Maybe they forget their direction

and that's why they got nothing for drink and eat because sea water is very salty.

They suffer a lot for 2 days. after 2 days I grabbed this pigeon tonight

Here is that racer pigeon. it has become so thin and weak.

I have opened the tag sticker

Maybe Allah give it to me to save them as a pigeon lover

Now I will take care of this pigeon and I will release them from Singapore after 3 or 4 days.

because there is no rule to keep them in ship

please pray for it

I wish I could take it to home in Bangladesh that's will be better.

But this is not possible because I will go to home after 7 or 8 months and transportation system is not good

That's why I have captured this video very excitedly

i love pigeons and this pigeon came to me

Now take a look at the pigeon. it has very good Bloodline.

there are two of them

here is one and

another one is at the navigation camp in a box with proper food and water.

now I will take care of it

Anyways back on track. I love this kit because

It is rainbows

and I love rainbows and they're like it almost is kind of like two kits mixed together

I mean this in the nicest way, but you have like the flowers and it's like

the kind of some of the flowers and

The clouds kind of go in one direction. It's a cloud some of the clouds kind of go either way

But they fit with the watercolor theme of some of the flowers

And then it kind of has this like old-school theme with how the roses are

But think of these like super bright solid

Umbrellas and the sentiments. it does manage to go together

But you could totally split them up and have them be very different

And this kit gives me a lot of confusion because the roses remind me so much my mother

but then that you know those umbrellas those are so me so you know I

don't know what to make of this kit, but I'm just excited to use it up

I use almost everything except for a couple of the rain drops, so that was pretty good. I tried real hard

You're not gonna see in this video because didn't get me anywhere

But I try hard to use like every single raindrop

and I'm just like I'm just ruining it at this point so I gave my daughter them. she

Appreciated it cuz she always loves getting my stickers

And yeah, so this week

Monday I forgot write it in my planner, but Monday my daughter's up in school, so it's just like a mom and Ellie day

So that's pretty open, and I'm Tuesday she started skating which is gonna be so fun

It's her first time doing skating lessons if you don't know she's four years old. She's like still super little and adorable

and we

Went yesterday to get her some skates

So cute her trying on skates. She just looked so

Freaking cute, and then she got a little helmet

She really wanted like a pink helmet her skates and or a blue helmet

But we had to get black skates and helmet just cause she's so little there wasn't very much variety there

Actually was pink skates, but they were

the cheapest ones there

And they were super hard to put on

For some reason like all the way up was plastic and we could barely get her foot in without her screaming and then like for

$20 more the tongue part came like all the way down

And she was super comfortable so of course we're gonna get those ones where she's not like crying

I don't even know how these sell those shoes probably just cuz they're pink and they're only $40 but

It's like

So it was took us like 10 minutes to try to try on these

Hockey skates, and they were the first ones we tried on so of course. I'm like oh my god

This is gonna be a total disaster. You're not going to skate but then we tried on the $60 skates. It was totally fine

Sidenote. I just like really thought. It was clever when I have had that bird holding the umbrella.

Sometimes I watch my own videos, and I'm like oh, I'm so awkward what the hell, but half the time

Honestly, I'm like I'm really cute

So you know it could go either way, right?

that moment I felt like I was just being really adorable

I hope that like everyone feels that way

about themselves

It's just so easy to be hard on yourself and be so critical of yourself. I like to say I'm a perfectionist

in recovery

Like literally my mantra and my affirmation has been like let's be loosey-goosey

and it's just so silly ridiculous, but it has to be because

I'd have notebooks and planners that I wouldn't write in because I wanted them to be perfect and

I'm almost like on the extreme now

Where at times I'm like this is just ridiculous, I'm just recking this, this is so awful like I should try a little harder

But I feel like I have to go through the things where it's just like

Absolute crap where I'm not trying to kind of get over the fact that

It's not always gonna go perfectly when I am trying, if that makes sense so

I feel like I the fact I can just focus on like silly little things and think that I'm cute and impress myself is a

Good thing and I hope everyone can just look for the cuteness

That they do... I totally went off on a weird change in there where I was like a motivational speaker

Which I try not to do

Because everyone these days is a motivational speaker, but you

Know it's gonna happen. That's gonna happen when I'm in a silly silly mood

And I'm in a silly silly mood

Well, how can you not be when you're looking at these little like watercolor clouds in this like little bird little flower teeny stickers

I don't know

That's one of my things I love about planning

It just can really cheer me up like it's just you know you're grown up. If you're like possibly. I don't know I'm the grown-up

supposedly, I'm supposed to be growing up who knows and

You know using stickers and drawing and coloring is always things that when I grew up

It was like that's what kids do and the fact that I can be a grown-up, and I can just do whatever I want

It's pretty awesome. I kind of love it

I don't know if I love it more because it's like traditionally a kid thing

But it just gives me like the fact that I've accepted it and embraced it makes me really happy

And I really like to do it

And I don't really care how other people feel about it because there's so many other people there

love planners and love planning in their planners set you know when I was hanging out with those cool kids those cool cats

I have been hanging it was like way too many people who are like

Motivational and all the finding your tribe you guys. I am so deep in the rabbit hole that sometimes

I forget that other adults have not found their tribe

It's so funny to me

We were at Easter dinner today and my mother

Was talking about how like it's it's like socially acceptable for companies to like

Just totally political

Argument that we probably shouldn't have gotten into at Easter, but like about how companies

Hire in other countries or they go to other countries

To get me manufacturing done and all of this stuff, and she was saying how it's like socially accepted

And I'm like no it's totally not but then

Everybody at the table is looking at me like I was crazy

But maybe I just hang I'm like a small group of people like a lot of my friends they love

doing things like you know writing your planners or they like cloth diapering or

They love small businesses

And I know when you're like a planner person you don't have to be a mom or like a diaper person

But a lot of these planner

People that I meet you know you love supporting. I see shops and small businesses and stay-at-home moms. like half our friends are in

MLM selling like shakes and

candles, and you just want to support those small businesses and

usually like if you have a choice between

Someone who's making a product in your own country versus someone who's making a product in China of course you can only choose

You know the one as long as it's like do you have similar quality and price that you're obviously gonna choose

the one made in your own country so

To me that just sounded totally

Totally like weird, but I I don't know maybe it's just us because we are supporters of small businesses

and the rest of the world is not like I don't know what's going on

I love hanging out with my little tribe bubble with all of my cool people and if you're watching my planner videos you're obviously

cool person so
