Youtube daily how to I Apr 26 2018

Now, the second step is working with the Mantra Shreem Brzee.

First of all, you have to know what a Mantra is.

There are so many definitions of Mantra.

And it has almost become an English word.

The one definition that I personally like, there are several definitions I like.

I'm not going to go into all of them, but at least I will confine to one.

Mantra is Man- tra.

"Man-" is "Mind."

"-Tra" is "to protect" in Sanskrit — that which protects your Mind.

Shreem Brzee is going to protect your Mind.

Protect your Mind in two ways.

Protect it with prosperity thoughts and protect it also against confused, negative poverty-thinking.

So that is what it is going to do.

That's why a Mantra is often conceived as something extraordinary, something magical,

something super-normal, something Divine.

It is Divine.

A Mantra is of a Divine origin.

And where did it originate from?

It originated from the Space.

And in this case, there is a prosperity galaxy.

There are so many galaxies.

And we cannot even go to Mars or Moon and live there.

But the Rishis were able to go there and live everywhere.

And then, this is one of the galaxies that they have been able to reach in their meditation.

And they brought this Mantra Shreem Brzee.

And initially, I have to tell you that Brzee was the one that was revealed.

And Brzee will remove karma and [it] will give money.

And Shreem is the Mantra for the Goddess of Wealth.

And how it works: As you begin to use this Mantra, it will completely change not only

your Mindset, but it will also change you entire biological structure.

And it will also change your aura.

There are seven bands around your aura and around your body.

It will change even that too.

Now we have proof that as soon as you use the sound Shreem Brzee, there is a perfect

geometrical structure.

We didn't do the research.

A person in Singapore who was benefited tremendously by this Shreem Brzee, sent it to the lab in

Japan, Emoto's Lab, and then he put it out [published research on it].

Now, this is what happens.

That means it can go and change even your atomic structure.

And I am personally doing in my own small lab in India, on how it can change the stem

cells, your stem cells.

So I am very committed.

Maybe I am committed right now.

Not before, because I know that you have to really change it at the Soul level or life

level.

But those things don't make much sense but we talk about stem cells aka, and that's

what the research is going on.

And fabulous research is coming out.

This is not the time to talk about it.

So Shreem Brzee finally is the only way that I know of to change your Mindset and change

your consciousness, change your body, and then bring you to wealth consciousness.

Not only for you, but for the entire world, but at the same time, I want to emphasize

that I have said Shreem Brzee for a few times and the money didn't fall off the roof.

It will never fall off the roof.

If you want to join the program thinking that there will be a magic because it's a Mantra

and the money will come and fall off the roof.

It will never do that, I can guarantee.

Then what will it do?

It will change your consciousness.

The miracle that it will do is the miracle of changing your poverty consciousness, scarcity

consciousness, your negativity, your confusion about money, and then order your consciousness,

and orient your consciousness, orient your life breath to the Wealth Consciousness.

That is the miracle that you are going to see happening.

And what's the requirement Commitment.

District Representative | What I do & how much I make | Part 1 | Khan Academy - Duration: 4:29.

My name is Fernando Morales,

I'm 27, and I'm a representative

for State Senator Ben Allen's office.

My main responsibilities, I would say

that the first one would be outreach,

and that's about 60% of my responsibilities in the office.

And that's going to community meetings,

whether it's a chamber meeting

or a neighborhood council or a homeowner's association,

hearing what the issues are there,

whether it's homelessness in Hollywood

or transportation in the mid-city area,

and really getting to have my hand

to the pulse of the community

so that I can communicate that to the senator.

A lot of the times, that involves speaking on his behalf

when he is in Sacramento for the legislative session.

So I get to be his proxy in many ways,

which is exciting and a little,

it drives a little anxiety when I have to public speak,

but I do enjoy doing that part of my job.

Another 30% of my responsibilities in the office,

I would say, are mostly administrative or clerical.

Whether it's planning or setting up logistics

for events, producing letters or certificates

for community members, whether it's a graduation,

Eagle Scouts, or whatever it may be,

making sure that I can complete that for those constituents.

The last 10% is staffing the senator,

which means attending with him

to different community events, letting him know

which community members have the questions

and the concerns, and making sure that he can address them

and go to them to get to, you know,

have some one-on-one time and hear them out.

No one day is the same at my job, and I tend to enjoy that.

Back when I was younger, I had this fantasy

of having this job in which I went to sleep

in a different place than where I woke up,

it was just constantly moving.

Little did I realize I could do that in the same place,

it's just every minute of the day,

and every different day is different regarding

which event I could attend.

The communities that I represent are so diverse

that there's just such a wide array

of issues and conversations, so I could be, at night,

at a gala for a non-profit, or, you know,

I could be at a neighborhood council meeting

talking up planning and some of the issues

that the constituents have been encountering there.

So there's a very wide range, and a lot of the times,

it leaks into nights and very early mornings, sometimes,

weekends, but I mean, it's all different,

so at least it never gets boring.

District representatives, on average,

make about anywhere from 35,000 dollars

to 50,000, 55,000 dollars.

In my particular case, I had some experience beforehand

in public relations, and I've been in this similar position

for about three years, one year of that

in the State Assembly, so my current salary

is about 43,000 dollars or so.

Whenever I was told I had the job,

I was asked what salary I was expecting

or what I would need,

and I actually significantly undershot them,

just from being paid hourly before.

I said look, I'll take 30,000,

and then, you know, they laughed for a second

and said, oh no, we were gonna give you 35,

we just thought you were gonna go higher.

So if I had been a little savvier,

I'm sure I coulda started up a little higher [laughs].

My job comes with great benefits

when it comes to healthcare, dental, and vision,

and, you know, it's not the most competitive pay,

so I think that is something that needs

to be taken into consideration as well.

Other than the benefits, there are some perks

to the job, and the perks would include having access

to certain people that know, and they're the specialists

of whatever field they're in.

You know, I could talk to a professor at UCLA

who's been doing groundbreaking research on neurobiology.

I could talk to a CEO of a tech company

in the Silicon Beach community that's growing.

At some point, I could talk to the Secretary of California,

Secretary of the State Alex Padilla, and I have.

And it's really exciting to be able

to hear directly from people that are affecting

that change in whatever it may be.

Customer Success Manager | What I do & how much I make | Part 1 | Khan Academy - Duration: 8:05.

My name is Nick Donovan.

I'm 28 years old and I'm a customer success manager

at User Testing.

I make $80K a year.

User testing is a company that specializes

in providing qualitative user feedback

for companies with apps and websites.

So that's a little bit complicated,

but essentially what we do is we allow big companies

to understand what users experiences are like

when they try using their apps and websites.

So for example, when you go to Amazon to buy something,

maybe there's a step in the process

that's really confusing,

and so you decide not to buy it.

Amazon wants that not to be the case,

so they purchase a subscription with User Testing

which allows them to see what their users are experiencing

and improve those processes.

So User Testing has a panel of testers

that exists all over the globe,

and in order to get feedback what we do is

we have each of those testers take what we call sessions.

And those are done using a screen recorder

on either their desktop computer or their mobile device

which will record what they're doing on their device,

as well as their thoughts that they're speaking aloud

during the session.

So that way we're getting feedback on not only

what it looks like when they're trying to click on things,

but also if they're running into an issue

they didn't know they were going to have,

they can speak their thoughts aloud

and say, "Oh this isn't what I expected,"

to make those pain points really clear.

Essentially User Testing is here in order to provide

companies with those insights into those users.

So as a customer success manager,

I'm here for a couple different reasons,

that our main focus here is to make sure

that our customers are always really happy

with the platform and the product and subscriptions

that they've purchased with us.

If they're really happy with us,

then it means that they're really sticky

and we're doing great work for them

in providing them valuable research.

And that means that they're going to come back

again next year and purchase again.

So really when it all boils down,

I'm here to help ensure that customers are renewing with us

and spending money that way.

My major responsibilities, as I'd said previously,

is essentially to ensure

that my customers are always healthy

which means that they're utilizing the product.

They are finding value in it.

That's really kind of what matters.

So in order to do that, I'll do partnership reviews

which is times when I'll go in and try to meet

with the executive stakeholders at my customers' companies,

and ensure that they're seeing the great value

that they're getting.

Beyond that we'll also be having

regular email correspondence,

monthly check-ins in order to make sure

that they're doing well,

phone calls.

I'll go visit them in person sometimes,

that's some of my favorite stuff to do on my job

is actually going and visiting really cool companies.

And then beyond that, I'm also responsible

for all renewal discussions.

So once a customer is done with their first year with us,

I'm responsible for talking with them

about their upcoming year subscription

and making sure they still want to stay on.

So projects for my role are a little varied.

Sometimes a project could be onboarding a new customer

and that would mean that I am working

with our professional services team or researchers

and project managers who want to make sure

that all our customers understand fully

how to utilize the platform.

So sometimes I'm focusing really on that

with newer customers.

Other times I'm putting out fires,

if there's a customer who had a really poor experience

for one reason or another,

I want to make sure that they understand that

that's not how we do business,

the usual typical experience

and helping them kind of reconnect and regroup,

so that we can do great stuff going forward.

Other times it's renewal discussions,

so figuring out what number is really going to work

for that customer and what actual package

is going to get them what they really need

in order to get those insights that they're looking for.

I make $80,000 a year,

Now that number is a little bit variable,

it tends shift based on a few different factors.

The main thing that I'm kind of graded on

and that can impact that

is whether or not my customers renew,

which is a great sign of a good customer success manager.

If I'm doing my job, they want to continue with us.

So customer success managers tend

to make around $80,000-ish.

It varies quite a bit just because custom success managers

and customer success as a field,

tends to be a newer field that's just kind of starting.

So a lot of different companies are figuring out

what the responsibilities of a customer success manager

should be and with that what the pay should be,

so that it really balances out.

There's a really broad window, I would say,

tends to make anywhere from $60k to $100k a year,

and still have a job.

So I'm making pretty much right in the middle there,

which is really great.

Started out making around $60k,

that improved because User Testing wanted to make sure

that everyone at the company was making industry standard

and so we've improved to this point.

And then from here for me to continue improving,

I need to make sure that my renewal numbers are good,

my customers are utilizing the product,

things that are normally expected of me

in my day-to-day so that,

it's pretty fitting I would say.

I had my first annual review last year and I

thought ahead and I planned and I came prepared

with all of the great renewable numbers that I had,

all the usage data,

so that I could show the positive impact

that I had had on the customers who I'd worked with,

and that was really good

and it was one of the factors that resulted

in me making a little more money.

So to be successful as a customer success manager

there are a few things that have to happen.

You have to be able to think strategically

long-term about customers.

A lot of times, there's some confusion over well

is customer success a sales role?

And it's not because in sales,

you're trying to sell as much as you can.

To be a great customer success manager,

you really need to think strategically,

long-term about your customers

and what will make the most positive impact for them.

So you really have to have their well-being in mind

if you're wondering about what mindset you have to have.

What that means kind of for the skill set

is to be able to look at, okay,

this is what a customer's hoping to accomplish,

this is how we can get them there.

Maybe it's a small package,

maybe it's something that they just need

to get off the ground.

And from there, maybe we are going to try out

some new different things.

And maybe they'll find a feature

that is bringing them a lot of value.

Great, we can bring them that.

We don't need to always be upselling,

we don't need to be charging as much as possible,

we don't need to be doing any of that.

We need to work with their budgets

that they're healthy and happy

and coming back again next year

and continuing to work with us,

'cause that's really what matters.

So one of the things that's really important

is being organized.

So like I'd said,

I'm managing a bunch of different customers.

Right now, I am managing about 60 customers,

which is a lot.

So that means multiple monthly touch points every day

and I need to be knowing

what these customers are doing.

So I need to know what their values are,

what they want to be achieving.

And with 60 different people

who I need to be keeping track of,

everything each of them are doing,

and some of them are teams of more than one people

so they have lots of different things

they're doing within each of their teams.

Organization is really key,

you need to be able to keep track of everything.

Beyond that,

being a personable person and being friendly

and not being nervous to go in

and have conversations with important key stakeholders

is a necessity.

You have to be able to be comfortable doing that.

Yeah, it's been great.

I've actually kind of become close with some of my customers

which is really nice to be able to say,

"Oh well, you know after work we should meet up for drinks."

Or, "You know, next time I'm in town,

"I'll give you a call and we can go out."

And that's been a really cool experience.

How to create Binding - Duration: 7:16.

Hi Guys I'm Cassie from Faodail Creation and I upload videos every

single Wednesday now it's either on how to use your sewing machine or simple sewing tips

and tricks this week's video is all about binding now I'm going to show you

how to make the binding, how to attach the binding and also how to finish off

the binding. So just to let you know you can purchase binding in stores that's

already done for you however I think their a little bit too lightweight and

personally I prefer a thicker binding because it's less forgiving I'm going to

compare these two together so this was the back in fabric on one of my quilts

that I did and it's a much thinner fabric and it just doesn't give off a

very nice overall look however when I use this fabric which is much thicker it

gives off a nice clean finished look so I'm going to create this video in three

different parts for you this is so when you get to the next step of the binding

it's going to be easy for you to find the video and work from that particular

stage rather than me doing the whole video and you are in so fast-forward

through it. So I want you to see the principle of how this is done so this

isn't a how to on how to make any thing in particular this is just to show you

how to put the binding on. So I've been getting increasingly frustrated with how

to create binding on things and just recently at one of my friends who is an

avid quilter came around and showed me her technique and I want to pass that

down to you because I truly believe that everybody should know the basics and

shouldn't have to pay in order to know that information. The next thing I'm

going to talk to you about is going to be basically personal preference I cut

my binding out at two and a half inches some people like a thinner binding so

maybe two and a quarter but you can't go too thin because you need to have an

overlap when you're making your binding so this right here is a piece of fabric

from the store and your best to do it off the yardage and not off any of your

scraps just because you don't want to have to keep on and joining them seams

together all the time so I'm gonna cut this down to two and a

half inches if you want something thinner than that you can do at you in a

quarter like I said so I'm gonna go ahead and cut a second one of these

because I think two should be enough for my project but if you're making like a

full size quilt you probably need a fair few so here's our two pieces right here

and don't forget just to cut off them selvage bits at the end just so you

are starting off with the actual fabric this is how we're going to join these two

pieces together so you're gonna have one going across just like this right side

up and then you're going to get your second one and it's gonna go right side

down so the two pieces of fabric are facing each other right sides together

so we're now going to take these two pieces over to the sewing machine but

before we do is it depends on how confident you are you can take it

straight over to machine and eyeball a or if you want just make a line that

goes from Center to Center like so you want to be hitting it right in the

corner and right in the corner now the reason I say this is because look what's

gonna happen now if I just put my ruler here and you fold this back it's going

to be connected to the other side of the fabric properly if you're not confident

with these just being free just flapping about

Just pin your binding in place while you just run this through your

sewing machine so all I'm gonna do here is just follow this line all the way down

if your a little bit off don't lose sleep over it's fine so when we open our

seam up it gives this lovely a finished look but we're not gonna stop that we're

going to cut this bit off and we're going to press this in place to give it an even

more better look. Now we're at the ironing board and I'm just going to clip a

little bit of this off and probably just going to leave like a quarter of an inch or

so it's totally up to you but I just want to tidy this up

it just helps reduce that bulk then I'm just gonna open it up and I'm going to

press it down right along the center like so and I'm just going to do it on the

front here too and it just looks just neater like this so to create this

binding now we're gonna fold this over in half so you this is like the right

side here and we're going to go back to our iron and we're gonna press it all

the way along so I'm back at my ironing board here and we're just going to press

this down like so and we're going to go all the way down

now guys what's your experience of making binding I would love to know in

the comments because like I said I had been struggling a long time in order to

get this binding a hundred percent correct because I have a store and I

don't want to put products in my store if I just can't do them properly so I'm

so excited that I now do this so let me know your biggest

pet peeve of creating binding and I will try and answer the questions

so that was part 1 of making the binding and here it all is in its glory in part

2 I'm going to show you how to put this binding onto your project I've linked

part two in this video so it should be coming up shortly but don't forget to

hit that subscribe button so you don't miss seeing me next week thank you so

much for watching guys bye

Firefighter | What I do & how much I make | Part 1 | Khan Academy - Duration: 5:42.

My name is Ky-ree Toadvine.

I'm a firefighter, and currently I make anywhere

from 65 to 70 grand a year.

As a firefighter every day is different,

there is not really a routine to it.

We could be going to a medical emergency at one moment

which we're in someone's home and helping them,

or we could be going to an actual structure fire

in which we will have to utilize fire suppression

efforts to put out the fire effectively,

or even we could respond to a traffic accident

in which there is a trapped,

pinned victim and we need to unpin them.

There's a lot of different things going on

and its always different.

Well right now I'm just a probationary member,

and its not necessarily a bad thing to be

a probationary member it just means that

I'm still learning at the moment.

I'm actually in the field,

I've passed the academy,

and I'm learning the ropes of what to actually do

while in the field.

And my main role I will say is to learn as

much as possible so that I could be as effective

at my job as I possibly can after this probationary year.

So as a firefighter I currently make 65 to 70,000

dollars a year just for my probationary year.

There are pay increases that come in through

over time, about six months in I'll get another pay increase

and then a year in I'll get another pay increase.

And then there are other certifications that we could get,

like our paramedic certification which will give us a bonus.

If you like to be USAR, Urban Search and Rescue Certified

then you can also go and take the classes to get

that certification which will also

give you sort of a bonus.

Same thing for hazardous materials

if you're at that specialized station then

you can get those classes taken care of

and receive those certifications for that bonus.

I study as often as I possibly can.

There's loads of information

that I don't know anything about.

One such example is building construction.

I didn't have a building construction background

coming into this career field so I have to take the

initiative to make sure I study it as often as

possible just to make sure that I don't let

the knowledge, or skill set, slip away from me.

I'm studying building construction because,

say if we're on top of a roof during a fire,

we have to ventilate the building.

We have to know what typical rafter direction is

so that we can effectively cut the roofing

off of the roof and allow the fire to ventilate

outside of the roof, or to ventilate vertically.

That will allow us to also tell if there

may be signs of collapse going on.

Also, I have to mention being physically and mentally fit,

we have to make sure that we take on a set of fitness

that's not just aesthetic.

You have to make sure that its actual, functional,

actually functional, excuse me,

and take that and make sure that

we're actually adaptable in the field as well

with our fitness and what we can do in the field.

And it keeps us mentally fit as well

because it allows us to keep the edge off

and takes off the stress a little bit as well

so we can continue to think effectively,

and be effective in our field as well.

Within our work week,

we work three 24-hour days

out of a five day work week, typically.

From that we start our week with working one day, 24 hours,

having one full day off, working the next day 24 hours,

having the next day off, and then working one last day,

and then having four days off,

but that's also not counting any overtime

in which you may want to pick up

and which we also work 24 hours.

And within that 24 hours like I said

we would be responding to a number of amount

of incidents, non-emergency, emergency,

maybe doing community service as well.

So during our 24 hours we are at the station

a majority of the time.

That's if we're not running calls.

If it's not a busy day,

that we may be out running calls or if there

is an errand to be done,

then we may need to go out and do an errand,

or if there's training to be done

we will be out doing our training with another company.

When I'm working for 24 hours at a time on platoon duty

we're not awake for exactly 24 hours throughout the day.

We do have times where we can rest,

and cook or do whatever we need to take

care of what we may need.

The station is basically like a house,

and we're all there together.

The challenges of a firefighter within the city

versus say the country,

say LA versus like you said, Boise, Idaho,

would be the first thing I think of is

Downtown Los Angeles, high rises,

they're tough to climb. (laughs)

It's a lot of different construction aspects to go into,

it's a lot of different elevator problems

you will go into as well.

There's a totally different,

well not totally different,

but there is a different approach you take to

structural firefighting within a high rise as well.

That's the first thing,

and also a denser population of people.

You have a lot of different type of people,

you have a lot of tourists coming through

so at any moment you could be responding

to a medical call which we run 80 to 90 percent

of within the department,

but you may be running on someone who's from Italy

and doesn't even speak English.

Okay, so different skills and mindset that

you need to have is just more likely just being adaptable.

You have to know that there's never going to be

a been there, done that situation.

You have to be committed to taking in loads of

information that you may know nothing about at the time,

and also make sure that you're able to comprehend

what may be going on at the time,

and not freeze up or anything of that nature

when it's time to perform.

Instructional Designer | What I do & how much I make | Part 1 | Khan Academy - Duration: 7:53.

My name is Onna Nelson.

I am 28 years old.

I'm an instructional designer

and I make 90,000 dollars a year.

MapR Technologies makes software to help people

manage and analyze big data.

So an example of that would be

if you're a bank, and you want to process

all the credit card transactions that are happening

right now, that's thousands or millions of credit card

transactions that are happening right now,

so that would be an example

of a big data application.

An instructional designer makes material

so that people can learn how to do something.

In my case, I make materials

so that people can learn how to use the product

that my company makes.

So I make lab materials

so that people can practice using the technology.

I make PowerPoint slides, and documentation to

explain how the technology works.

I write glossaries, different study guides.

I also monitor the forums,

and the social media so I have direct communication

with our students online.

So, anytime a student has a question,

or they find a bug in our classes,

they let me know, I address the issue.

So, I'm writing emails, so whenever you sign up

for an online class, like Kahn Academy,

you get that email that says, oh hey,

great job learning, keep going with this next thing.

So, I write a lot of those emails.

Instructional design is at a lot of tech companies,

especially because technology is constantly changing,

so you have the how to use this version of the software,

and then a new version of the software gets released,

and so now you have to create another new tutorial

that says, well how do you use the new version,

and how is it different from the old version.

And so every time a new version gets released,

we have to update our courses.

So, a lot of tech companies do have instructional designers

for that reason, but a lot of other companies

have instructional designers too,

so a lot of instructional designers

will teach people how to

do their jobs, so you have to learn a new email tool

when you start at a new company,

or you have to learn whatever process that

other company uses.

Instructional designers help

with the onboarding of new employees as well.

It all happened at once.

In kind of ...

Bizarre mesh of oh, my God, I need to change my career,

I'm not happy in the career I'm in,

and then I fell into this role.

So, before I became an instructional designer

at MapR Technologies, I was a graduate student

in a PhD program

at The University of California, Santa Barbara,

studying linguistics and cognitive science,

and I realized that ...

About four years into the program I realized

that academia wasn't for me, that I was on a path

that wasn't right for me.

I was headed towards becoming

this professor and researcher

and that's not what I wanted.

I wanted to be more involved in teaching

and fostering relationships with students

and so ...

I also wanted to do something that was more

fast-paced, and I know that the tech industry

is very fast-paced, whereas the academic world

is very slow-paced,

and that just was not right for me so,

I took classes online in data science,

and I knew that I wanted to be involved with

education and data science in some way,

and so now, I'm an educator at a data science company.

I studied data science on Coursera,

so I have a certificate in data science from Coursera

through Johns Hopkins University.

I think I was very lucky in this position,

because my manager took a chance on me.

I don't have a degree in instructional design,

but I had designed courses before.

I don't have a degree um ...

I don't have a degree in computer science but

I had built projects and put them on the web.

So, I had ...

I didn't have the certifications that are typical,

like a degree in instructional design,

or a degree in computer science,

but I had a lot of the skills,

and a lot of the proof that I have been able to use

those skills, which I think, a lot of times,

is more important.

You don't necessarily need a degree in

whatever in order to get a job in that thing.

So, when I was hired, I was hired at 90,000 dollars a year.

I'm currently making that, but I'm scheduled

to get a raise, very soon, of around 4 to five percent.

So every quarter we have a quarterly review,

so every three months we talk about

what we accomplished, and what our goals are,

and we do get a bonus based on that.

My last bonus was around three or four hundred dollars,

and so you get that four times a year.

If you're going to be an instructional designer,

especially in the tech field, you have to like

learning new things, because you constantly

have to learn something new in order to teach it

to other people.

So when you're a junior instructional designer,

you have a manager, or senior instructional designer

helping you with you work all the time,

and then, when you're an instructional designer,

you have a lot of independence,

but maybe not a lot of authority.

When you're a senior instructional designer,

you have a lot of independence,

and you're just expected to be able to do the job

without anyone helping you,

and then you might even be expected to help others as well.

Beyond senior instructional designer, would be,

a management position, or possibly a move into

a different role, so, maybe I don't want to be instructional

design, I want to work more in curriculum development,

or maybe I want to work more in interactive design,

so there's a lot of lateral movement as well.

I think everyone I work with has at least a college degree.

Some have master's degrees, but all of us

came from different backgrounds,

so for example, I have a degree in linguistics,

another one has a degree in physics,

another has a degree in math,

another has a degree in fine arts.

So, it's not like you need a degree in computer science

to work in the tech industry.

I'm very lucky to have a very flexible job.

As long as I log in during working hours,

whether or not that log in is at the office,

or at home, or at a coffee shop,

the important thing is that we have core working hours

where everybody has to log in, check in,

have meetings.

So you can't just do all your work

in the middle of the night, and then not log in

during the time everyone else is awake and

doing meetings, but, I do have a very flexible

working hours, and very good work-life balance.

I think the most important career advice

is to always want to keep learning.

No matter what your career is.

I think if you wanted to become an instructional designer

especially, being in the education field means constantly

learning so you can constantly teach.

But, any field, you're education doesn't stop

after high school, or after college.

There's always going to be new technologies,

or new, you know, whatever it is, to learn,

so being open-minded,

and being willing to accept new chances

and try new things is really important.

Architectural Designer | What I do & how much I make | Part 1 | Khan Academy - Duration: 3:24.

I'm Sophia Hastings.

I'm 24, and I am a designer at an architecture firm.

We design mostly homes, but also some office space,

hotels, things like that.

At the firm, Robert is the boss and owner.

He's the only licensed architect here,

and then you have the architectural designers

who are four people including myself.

Then, we have one intern.

An architectural designer is someone who carries out

a project from beginning ideas, initial sketches

all the way through a built, inhabitable project.

Robert as the only licensed architect is the only one

who can stamp these as an architect, approve of them,

be held legally accountable for them,

but our role as architectural designers is to help him

through the process, manage the project,

and do a lot of the work required to finish

and complete them.

My key responsibilities in the design realm are

attending client meetings, taking notes,

making 3D models on the computer of our projects,

taking a lot of sketches that Robert makes

and translating them into construction drawings

on the computer, and also a lot

of site visits and measuring.

In the permitting process, my responsibilities are

meeting with officials, getting all the paperwork together

to make sure that a building can be permitted,

and finally obtaining the permit.

Then, in the construction administration side of it,

I focus on coordinating with construction teams

making sure that if there's a change I issue a drawing

to communicate that to all the proper people,

and also overseeing construction sites.

My annual salary is about $40,000.00 right now.

I make $20.00 an hour.

I work eight hour days.

That come to about $3200.00 that I'm taking home per month.

I am an independent contractor right now

because initially I was only going to be here temporarily

which made sense.

What that means is that I don't get taxes

taken out of my paycheck, so I get the full amount,

and I'm responsible for my own taxes at the end of the year.

Right now, I'm in transition

of becoming a full time employee

where I will get taxes taken out and get full benefits.

My worst day on this job was

I had just started working here,

and I had made some drawings to send to the contractor

on site for something we were doing,

and we got a call in the office.

There were walls where there weren't supposed to be walls

like built in the physical world.

That had never happened to me before.

It was because of my drawings, so I freaked out.

That was a big day for me.

I redrew it.

Robert got the contractor to take out the drywall

that they had already put in and stuff.

He said, you know, that's part of the job.

It happens all the time,

but because it was my first time ever experiencing that,

it was really scary.

How to Make Strawberries for Shortcake ~ Strawberries Romanoff ~ Noreen's Kitchen Basics - Duration: 6:27.

Hi everyone and welcome back to my kitchen today because I was getting ready to make strawberry shortcake topping and realized

I never made a video of how I do this. I think it's time. I shared it with you

This is the way my mom always made it

It's a little bit different from just throwing some sugar on some strawberries and letting them sit until they get juicy. This is definitely a

Gourmet version of a strawberry shortcake topping I can't wait to show you how this all comes together

Okay, we're gonna go over all the ingredients. I just thought it was a great idea to share with you

I didn't realize that I had never shared with you

How I make strawberries for strawberry shortcake and since it is strawberry season it's time

To have strawberry shortcake, so we're gonna have some tonight for dessert

And I thought what better time to share this then now I have about

4

1 pound boxes of strawberries that I have washed taking the tops off up and

Quartered mostly some of the extra-large ones

I just sliced by cutting them in half and then slicing them in you know four or five different pieces so

I have three of them here, and then I have one in this mason jar here, and I'll tell you why because

When I make strawberries for shortcake I make them Romanov style now

This is how my mom used to call it, and it's it's just

so much nicer than just throwing sugar on some strawberries and having them macerate and that means to stew in their own juices and

The sugar will draw out those natural juices and give you a nice. You know strawberry syrup that you can pour over your

Shortcake or your angel food cake I like my strawberry shortcake on pound cake Ric prefers his on

Angel food cake so in our house. We usually have both so

Here's my strawberries and then what I'm gonna do with these strawberries is I'm gonna put them in my little mini chopper here

Let's get them all in there

And then just whack them up

Now you don't want to turn these into a puree you just want them to be ground up a little bit

There we go

See these are not pureed. These are just blended up

Now I'm gonna pour that over your strawberries

And if I'm not mistaken this is how your mom makes it, right

She mashed them you can also do this with a potato masher

Okay, then I'm gonna add for this amount of

Strawberries and also you're gonna want to test them for sweetness

I'm gonna add about a cup and a half of sugar, and then we're gonna taste it then I'm gonna add some orange juice

We'll start with a half a cup, and then I'm gonna give this a little hit of

Vanilla syrup or vanilla extract entirely up to you you can also hit this with a little orange extract or some lemon extract

That's your choice

Then we're gonna get in here with a big spoon

And we're gonna mix this all up

And

Having those mashed strawberries or the ground of strawberries in here adds a lot more flavor it really starts

The process of the macerating

Going much more quickly it helps to dissolve the sugar a little more quickly as well

And then you're gonna want to let these sit for at least a half an hour or even

A couple hours is better so if you make these in the afternoon

Then you're gonna have them for dessert that night up to you you would be amazed at what just that little hit of vanilla

Will do it will take your strawberries for shortcake to the next level

I'm gonna let these hang out on the counter for about a half an hour, and then we'll come back

And we'll build you some strawberry shortcake, and we'll show you what this looks like okay our strawberries have rested and works

Just set I left them sitting on the counter for about 45 minutes and look at how beautiful and juicy these are

Absolutely perfect and just what you want for strawberry shortcake

Earlier today I made a pound cake using my butter pound cake recipe I cut it in half

So I just made one loaf

I forgot to put the parchment sling in the pan, and it fell apart when I took it out of the pan

But no worries it still tastes delicious

So we're just going to make some strawberry shortcake

And we really like it when it has a lot of syrup in the bottom, and it's just really

delicious and

You can pile that high and then what do you need for strawberry shortcake you need to have whipped cream

There you go

There's a delicious strawberry shortcake made with your homemade macerated strawberry shortcake topping

this is so easy to make and

Really, there's no substitute for it, so if you didn't know how to do this before you do now

I hope it was helpful, and I hope you make some soon if you liked the video

I try to teach her HOW TO WHEELIE !!! 😧💥| CRASH - Duration: 13:03.

Hey guys, whats up! Todays topic -

DINI: I also want to do wheelies thats annoying!!

So exactly thats why we are out here today, she is right here with her R6

but it will be a little bit different today. In my opinion it makes no sense to teach her wheelies with a 48hp R6 on the open road

thats why i brought my pitbike with me

it will be easier with a pitbike and not as much as a problem in case she will crash

and we are here on a closed road - very important -

so i try to teach her with the pitbike how it feels to be on that spot

wait

that feeling while you on that "angle point"

i really dont know how far we are coming today on these 2-3 hours training

dont expect that she will learn a perfect wheelie at the end of this video

i think the first goal is here to give here that first feeling

so now that would be the way how I would teach somebody on "HOW TO DO A WHEELIE"

so lets get started

we are switching now the communication to SENA

so its easier to talk while she is on the bike and have some questions

and i am live with her

start the engines

i think i look very strange right now

DINI: why i never get her started on the first time

you dont have to press the clutch

DINI: right

Nice, get into the first gear, and let the clutch out

just let it roll slowly and let your foot stay on the ground

DINI: But it won't work with the first gear

Sure, get off I'll show you

Look just roll slowly without the clutch

foot over the rear brake

look how slow i am, you can ride that slow

you can walk right beside me

and now just give it some throttle

i dont know yet if I should show you how to "clutch up" the bike

You have more power, but its one thing more you have to do while you have to think about all the other stuff

without clutch you just have to think about speed, throttle and rear brake

and this would be the fourth part

first gear, roll on

DINI: I will try it now

*imitate*

You can try it with "clutch ups" but you have to watch out

DINI: i'll try it without clutch

ok do it

just roll

not much throttle -right

get off the clutch - right

so just pull on the throttle

right, just practice that for a few times, you won't get that on the first time!

DINI: i look so retarted right now

yeah but you still learning

I have to say that the first plan was to teach it with a cycle but she had some problems with it

everyone who can ride a cycle, try to wheelie it before you go on a motorized on

you tried to pull her up, but the power weren't there yet you know?

DINI: yes, and i used the rear brake

The rear brake is never bad

you should put it every time over the rear brake

yeah slowly

slowly - and than a quick throttle pull up

right!

put your foot on the ground to get a feeling

The timing is wrong

you try to pull her up but your motor power is not there yet

try to use the throttle at the right time when you have the power at the chain

DINI: Its really not that easy to pull it up every time

Nobody said it will be easy

DINI: yes right

Same thing, you pulled up first and then you gave some throttle. did you notice that?

DIni: yeah but i cannot change it

You have to coordinate your brain and body better

I think you have to just try to give earlier throttle cause it takes some time to get power on the tire

and when you realize there is power - pull it up

and lean back! Many people lean forward while wheeling cause they are getting scared

If you are feeling better with the foot on the footpeg - do it

but i think its its harder to keep the balance point

bye

give me my bike back :D

shit

maybe try this, if you let go from the throttle the front frok gets compressed

if the front gets compressed

you should give throttle and pull the bike up

so you get a push from the front fork

yes good

yea but try it slower, your basic speed is way faster than mine

go

yeah

that was your best one!!!

try to relax!

right!

DINI: yeah but now i was a little bit scared

your timing was right

you did a perfect job

just dont get scared even thou its your first time doin this

calm down, and dont forgett the rear brake!

cause if you get slightly higher you will need it!

its easier up the "hill"

you put your body torwards the front

you were on a got spot but automatically put y our body to the front

DINI: yeah but i dont know, cant change it right now

you cause you are doing that automatically

nice

slow down, you are way too fast

you are slightly too fast and cant get her up

very nice

now its getting a little bit dangerous cause you let go your feet

thats the typical reflex

Your like oh shit - and let go of the bike

if you got slightly higher, you are doing it like this

watch out for that!

i told you

no matter what happens press the rear brake!

thats why i wanted to do it with you with on foot on the ground

pop it up and quickly bring it down with the rear brake

just to give you the sense for the rear brake that you are pushing it automatically and not step down from the bike

and if you realize that, you know, if you press the rear brake, you are save!

thats it

got it?

DINI: yeah

very nice

watch out the you arent angle the handlebars

DINI: yeah

Good, but did you realized it? Your body went towards the front!

Keep the hands straight

äh i mean the arms of course

not stiff

good

DINI: won't work right now

don't rush

you are doing a good job

you good?

DINI: hu?

You good??

DINI: yep that was painfull

you turned your handlebars did you realized it?

DINI: yeah.. !?

DINI: What exactly did i do wrong ?

We had that a few times. You landed like this

You twisted your handlebars in the air and landed like this

I told you before if you land like this, it is not going to end well

important right now, dont be scared to get back on the bike

are u ready?

DINI: yeah

Just go one time down and up again to the bus

DINI: I damaged your bike

just a bit the footpeg

Just down and up without a wheelie

DINI: Why i am not allowed to do a wheelie?

Just dont rush,

just go on the bike and relax while driving slow

DINI: but if i dont do it right now maybe i never do it again

if you are that motivated

So, you got your first crash but your are fine

i told your before a crash is quite normal when learning this even it was a bad situation cause this was the fastest path while doin a wheelie

helmet got some scratches

thats why its so impartant

event with this pitbikes and slow speeds

to wear your gear

but you are fine or?

DINI: im good

Thats it with the video i hope you liked it

big respect to dini, she did a really great job

don't forgett that it was her first time ever on a pitbike!

She only rode her r6

even that she crashed she did a very good job

tell me in the comments below how you liked the video

thumbs up the video if you think that Dini did a good job

see ya next time - peace!

LOVE NIKKI: HOW TO GET TOP 1-20 IN COMPETITION!! - Duration: 14:12.

hi guys so today I'm going to talk about how we're going to get a good score in

the competition so before we begin though I want to just mention that the

competition isn't something that really judges you based on your creativity

you'd have more luck on that in the starry corridor and it's more about

timing luck and just being a poser and it's I think that I have a pretty good

idea of how to get a good mom good rank base because I've been in the top 20

before I was number 16 so it wasn't that impressive but then I've also been able

to get on a multiple occasions like just an um a numerical score of like maybe

like 400 600 700 something like that so for those of you who are new to my

channel I'd really appreciate it if you could like and subscribe because it

would really help me a lot

so let's get started at the beginning of the video you might have seen that I had

one picture the entire time but actually it's a multiple like it's multiple

pictures at one time and you can just look at my score slowly going up and up

and up and as you can see it's a pretty basic suit it's pretty much used the set

um I think I changed the hair I added like a background and I didn't really do

anything else anymore because in that position the dress and the shoes I

couldn't change it so that's what I had and as you can see this is how I got my

mark it's not impossible I sorry I just finished exams so I keep thinking about

my marks and hila is um as you can see it's nothing special

it's like not something I'm particularly proud of but I found that in this type

of game you actually need to literally follow the mainstream that was the

outfit I ended up getting number 16 with but I actually wanted to submit this one

I just like this one because I like white I just got the teddy bear so I was

really happy and then I also got the peacock thing on my arms so I thought

that was nice or even if it is not very good in general it was something that I

kind of liked during that time now I'm looking back at it and like oh whatever

but that if I could get number 16 with that or like with this one I would be

really happy so I actually have planned this video for a while now like a very

long time and I never really ended up doing it because it just became

something that I never had the opportunity to but because now I have my

channel I can show it to you guys so in another competition for a double agent

this is what I wanted to do I wanted to do this one because I got this study

state thing and then when I thought of the agents I really wanted to make

something that was kind of like a like an underground thing where there's

people or a eyes created and then they're like attached to their like the

studies think the steady state think she has on our back so I'm like oh

like this would be pretty cool and then I actually ended up not liking it that

much even though it was like top 2% and I tried to change it to this one because

I really wanted to add a more cyber aspect to it like I wanted to reach a

number score so this only got like a 1% but I didn't take a picture of it so

this was what ended up getting a number score I'm not proud of it like I don't

really like it I don't like her makeup I don't understand why there's a fox

behind her but hey this is what got me a number scores so as you can see it

doesn't matter if you're creative or not it matters if you just happen to submit

it at the right time with the right people who looked at this and oh one

thing I genuinely believe why this got a better mark compared to the other one is

because this one is way more flashy the hair it's like half like the entire

screen the hologram is big the Fox is big the steady-state thing is big I

added a cloak and then the thing I'm standing on the crystal music box that's

also big so of course people are gonna get drawn towards that and then choose

me for that and this is just a joke but I don't know there was a glitch in the

competition and I didn't even make an outfit and I was like ranked 1013 but

okay anyways I actually ended up getting 661 for this one and yeah

the next one I wanted to talk about is Momo's tip so for this one I actually

went all out for it before this even started I was so excited to just make an

outfit for this team because every time Momo gives us a tip we actually look

like a monster like what the hell we have we can have like eight limbs and

then our face is all messed up and we're like black facing it's so racist like

everything is just messed up but then I thought that it would be really fun if I

could just make something like that but like without all that so I'm like

covering on my face and then have like 10,000 hats and it's just so messy but

as you can see I only got 99% and I'm why did I get such a low mark like

what's wrong and I checked the leaderboard and turns out people this

was during the Easter Easter event so people really wanted to show off their

Easter suits which was disappointing because that's the only thing people

wanted to choose and I also think that a lot of people didn't understand what

Momo's tip meant of course the reddit community we were on on it because it

was like a joke but then I guess other people or like mainly kids playing they

wouldn't really make the connection that this was Momo's tip or they just thought

that most it meant that you wanted to make something pretty and the Easter

event suits were pretty so that's why and ultimately I I was a poser so what

happened was that I jumped into them like I jumped onto the hype train and

then I added my Easter outfit and lo and behold I got ninety three hundred and I

think that's twenty I can't see my screen so small but yeah so that's what

I got and it's this one of course if I got it with the other one I'd be a lot

more happy but diamonds are diamonds and I really honestly felt like nobody cares

at this point nobody cares if you're really creative or not so point is as

you can see from like these three events it didn't matter whether I thought I was

creative or not as long as it was something flashy and it was something

that was in the leaderboard you're fine and here we go again so hopeless love I

was so tired of the wedding dresses but so I I had to jump on the train I had to

jump on the train of a ton of like stupid white dresses and then I had to

make my hair super fluffy and or not fluffy just skin windy so that people

will notice me and that's how I got right to top 2% and then I decided to

change it I'm like you know what I don't like it I actually risked it because it

was a pretty good submission on my like in my opinion but then I was also one

day from the competition from being over but I wanted to take a risk because I

didn't like this so I was also really happy

because I got the ears so I made this outfit and actually did pretty well

it went from 1% and then to 406 is not a word 446 yeah so that's what I got and

you know sometimes it works out but a lot of the times it doesn't and tips so

here are the actual tips besides you know following the

mainstream thing and not like giving a shit about your creativity because if

you're going in for the diamonds then this is what you want and if you're

going in to get like I don't know validated the mo you don't come here you

go to starry corridor and usually that works too but then you have to make sure

you submit it at a particular time when they refresh and you have to guess the

tags that are going to be like the ones that are gonna be popular so you'd

appear in the front page but I don't know too much about starry corridor

because I'm not actively on it but that competition I can have more of a voice

about so the three tips I'm going to talk about is that one submit it during

a popular time so when are the popular times for my time zone I'm a Canadian

I'm in Toronto four o'clock and 11 o clock for me

but it would be different for everybody else and it's just whenever you can get

your free stamina which is not now and that would be a high traffic so you can

see right now I'm having a hard time getting a high percentage and the other

two tips come in hand in hand so when you see that you're above 10% you're

probably not going to do that well and it's not very safe for you to stay here

because like honestly you'll jump to like 20% but by the end of the day

probably so I just want to mention that any score around 5% that's still risky I

usually make it so that to 1 to 2% every competition I probably resubmit over 10

times throughout the day and even though I say that it's good to have it like on

a particular time it still doesn't really matter that much as long as you

feel that at that moment there might be more people on for whatever week for

whatever like if it's near the end of the day and

there was an event going on and it's about to stop so maybe people are just

rushing in to finish so let's go to the other two tips so the first one would

just be look at what is popular right now we see the background a lot we see

the dinosaurs and it's actually more type of a so how did this one get up no

it's this one I mean I guess it could be like a museum night but it's a lot of

Brown going on there's a lot of like um lighter tones more basic and yeah I

can't you kind of see a trend there's like a lot of brown and it looks like

they work at the Museum so obviously we want to make it seem like we work at the

museum - I honestly try to make something more soft looking perhaps and

maybe maybe this one would do better to be honest it's more pleasing to the eye

and I can find something else on the bottom but my dinosaur is covering up

anyway so I think this is OK and as for the socks I don't think anybody can see

it that much and it's not gonna really make a difference but I'm just gonna put

something there to fill up the space so I'm gonna resubmit this one right now

it's not like a high-traffic time but I'll just see how it goes and this is

number two you always resubmit it when you don't get a good rank because

there's honestly no difference of you resubmit it yet like now or like admit

it because you give your your outfit another chance of being judged because

when you resubmit it you get the same amount of time or we think that you get

the same amount of time as somebody who submitted it like on the very first day

if you resubmit it now and the first person who submitted it got like twenty

minutes of airtime then you're going to somehow get twenty minutes - and that's

how they make it fair and encourage people to

continuously submit though as shit you not I'm ranked 240 right now the last

time I was doing this I think it was half an hour ago so this is what I got

as you can see tip 1 doesn't really matter that much but it will help your

luck better and for a tip 2 & 3 it's more full-out foolproof and this is what

I got you can see that this is a pretty good rank I don't think I can get

anything higher than this but I'm not mad about it I think that I did okay

with my tips and let me know if you get close to rank whatever if you followed

them and the last one could be something pretty jokes but you just like yourself

you click on yourself and you like it and yeah I usually wait till the last

day or when I know I have a good good ranking to do it but at this point I'm

like whatever I'll do it for the video and that one vote really won't mean

anything but it's still nice to add a little bit to your um to your thing and

that's it I don't really understand what invite

friends does but it gives you five on your gold everyday so I'm not really

going to complain about that and yeah if you have any questions feel free to

comment below but if you like this type of stuff I can post more videos like

this and I would really appreciate it if you could like and subscribe so thank

you for watching and good luck in the competition oh and for those of you who

are curious this was the amount of crystal roses I have I started in

February so these crystal roses have never been touched so that's all I got

into three so far in March April May so three months no wait February March

April so three months yeah three months this is what the amount of crystal roses

I got and honestly I don't really like anything here I'm hoping that they're

gonna update it soon so all this waiting was worth it

but yes cool later

It will ask to login to the Instagram account.

Once you are logged in, your Insta feed will appear.

From here select the photo or Video that you want to download.

Or from the popular tab, search for the specific profile to download a specific video.

In my case, I will search for iGeeksBlog profile.

Select Save and it's done.

That specific video is saved to my iPhone's Camera Roll.

HOW TO: HERINSCHRIJVEN voor je OPLEIDING - HvA - Duration: 3:41.

Hi everyone, welcome to my new video

As you can see, my room is a bit messy

I'm going on a holiday tomorrow

Really looking forward to it

But first I need to do something before I go and that is arranging my re-enrolment

Just to make sure...

Just to make sure...

Amber! Turn off your phone.

Joey has sent me an app. Hi Joey! Shout out to Joey.

Where was I?

I'm going on a holiday and I bring with me: my suitcase.

I want to make sure my holiday will be carefree

That is why I am going to arrange my re-enrollment now.

That is something you have to do every year and I'm going to show you how.

I'm going to take you through all steps

The fun part is that I already did this earlier, so I cannot show it exactly...

Maybe you have seen this poster somewhere

You can find them in all HvA buildings and Michelle, Sofian and me are on them

to show you about a carefree summer

Summer holiday has not started yet, but a carefree summer is always welcome

Oh, I accidentally called my voice mail with my foot

hva.nl/studielink

You can log on with your DigiD

Done

On studielink you have to log on using your DigiD

I'm going to do that now

Logging on speaks for itself

And then you see 'My to do list'

And then it says, for me, as I am already re-enrolled

But then it says 'Re-enroll'

Click on it and that's it It's very easy

What I have to do next is enter my payment details

So, let me see

Where I live. If I pay myself or someone else

If you want to pay in terms or the full amount

When you pay in terms you also pay an administration fee, which you do not pay if you pay the full amount at once

So that can save you some money

So, now I enter my details

These are all filled in so I don't have to do anything

You can confirm immediately

And then press Confirm again and that's it

That's how re-enrollment works

It states exactly which programme you follow

So click 'Herinschrijven' (Re-enroll)

Click 'Herinschrijven' again and then you have been re-enrolled

Just as easy

After entering your payment details you can confirm your digital authorization

This authorization is to allow the automatic bank transfer for your tuition fee

You can read all this

But I don't, because I don't want to

This information tells that usually on the 25th of the month the tuition fee is collected

And then at the bottom you state that the information provided is right

And that I am aware that confirming this authorization bla bla bla

Don't read, just confirm, click and you are done.

Nothing interesting. You are not selling your kidney or something like that

Go to Mijn Studielink page

You have a new message

Stating that your re-enrollment is confirmed and then

You are done

And we can go celebrate our holiday

As you see, arranging your re-enrollment is not difficult

I showed you how to do this, to make sure you get it right

Let me now if you have already re-enrolled or not

Give a thumbs up if this video was helpful

My camera was very far away so I had to ...
