Youtube daily how to I Apr 11 2018

welcome to another episode of the 10,000 trade show where we are monitoring

training and creating excellence through the deliberate practice and analysis of

10,000 traits in this episode we'll take a look at an inefficient market move and

inefficient market move is when price moves suddenly usually this type of a

move is not sustainable and we generally see the price move back to the level

that it was trading from so let's go onto the charts and we'll take a look at

how to identify an inefficient market move what exactly makes an inefficient

market move and how do we take the trade when to enter the trade where to place

our stop loss and as always where to exit the trade with a profit

here we are looking at an inefficient market move trade setup this is pound

yen five-minute chart an inefficient market move is when price moves very

quickly and usually the move is a result of a comment that comes out on the news

wires or it could just be rumors going on around in the market and it creates

market sentiment which drives the price up really really fast in cases like this

the price does not tend to stay up very long usually it retraces back all the

way before it starts in the new direction that it wants to go on go in

or continue on in the previous direction so basically what we're looking to do is

we're looking to identify this type of a fast a rapid rise or drop in price and

we are trying to trade it in the opposite direction so it's very

important that we wait for price to give us an entry first so here we need to

make sure that price hits a resistance point in this case we have the 20 level

here and then we also have the pivot point r1 level and we see that after a

long period of time price is still not able to break the resistance to the

upside it's not able to hold so it's not able to go higher and instead we see

that the price just closes below this r1 level and we get a solid candle close

here that's a red solid bearish candle close once we start to see that the

price is holding or the resistance level we can enter the trade short in this

case our stop would go above the high and we're looking for this move to get

retraced here so in this case our exit can be entered right at the same time we

can enter our take profit target which will be at the base of this move so

point where the price release is the point we are looking for it to come back

to so we enter the trade short and our exit our take profit target can go just

above where the price released from and we set our target and we wait for the

price to come back and we do want to exit the price here we do want to exit

the trade here because as we can see can just go back and go continue in the

direction that it was going in prior to this inefficient move so it's very

important that we exit that trade and if we see that the price hasn't quite let's

say this was lower in the price hadn't quite hit our target but it starts to go

sideways it's best to exit that trade then as well so just to recap here and

inefficient market movies when price moves in one direction very very quickly

and usually it's the result of a rumor or a common that came out on the

newsfeed so in this case we saw that there were some comments around brexit

there were comments around how the Parliament the EU Parliament was

preparing to give to allow UK exit to the market in the European Union as a

result of that the Pound jumped up and created the sentiment for price to move

up but the problem here is that price moves up really really quickly creating

an inefficient move it's like a vacuum in the market and then price will come

down to fill that vacuum and then continue on wherever it wants to go to

so in this case first we are looking for this inefficient move then we want to

make sure that the price fails to break above the high so we have to make sure

prices making lower high and it fails to break above the high if price breaks

this high then then there is no setup or the setup has failed and we cannot be in

that trade it's best to exit the trade but once we see that the price is not

able to break the resistance and we get a nice solid candle close we can enter

the trade short and we stay with the trade till it comes to the base of the

move here where the price released from to the upside and we can just enter our

take profit target right when we enter the trade in this case from entry to

exit here we got 33 pips in the move so our profit is 33 pips or 330 dollars if

How do I stay safe on public WiFi? Cybersecurity Tip - Duration: 1:53.

A question I frequently get asked is, "Are WiFis secure, specifically public WiFis?"

Let's say, you're sitting down at Starbucks, maybe you're on a cruise ship, maybe you're

in some kind of internet café, or maybe you're traveling somewhere.

Obviously, cellphone data plans for most people are very expensive.

You want to be aware of that, so you want to connect to WiFi.

The problem is WiFi is actually very unsecure.

A lot of people could be sitting there, listening to your communication that you're doing online

especially if it's an unencrypted session.

Hence why we always encourage people to look for that lock symbol whenever you're doing

things like online banking so it says, "https" in the website you're on and has a little

lock symbol.

But there's an even better way to protect yourself.

This is the way I highly encourage a lot of you to do.

It's to use something called virtual private networks, VPNs.

What a VPN does is it ensures that the traffic between your device (be it your phone, your

tablet or your laptop or whatever) is encrypted.

The one that I recommend is a service called ExpressVPN.

I've been using it for a number of years.

I find it very simple.

It's literally just a button that I click which connects me.

Once I click that button, all my traffic from my device is sent encrypted over whatever

WiFi connection that I'm using.

Any time you are using a public WiFi, even at your own home if you're using your own

WiFi, it's another added layer of security that is really good to have.

How do I deal with Jetlag? | Cédric Waldburger - Duration: 3:42.

While traveling is extremely fun and I love that I get to see so many places, 120 flights

last year also meant almost every week I spent in a new time zone.

And with that, sometimes there's jet lag.

Now, I don't usually get jet lagged if there's just three or four hour time difference.

But especially this trip that I took from Zurich to San Francisco, which is about a

12 hour flight, and the 9:00 hour time difference...

Jet lag is always tough.

And while there's many people that swear by melatonin or sleeping pills or have all kinds

of tricks for how they try to beat jet lag...

A) I've tried some of them and they didn't really work for me; and B)

I'm kind of reluctant to add anything unnatural to my body, just to change my sleep rhythm,

especially if I have to do it this often and not just once or twice in a year.

So with that, I had to come up with a system for how I deal with jet lag.

And what I figured out for me is that I just embrace it.

Meaning I just try to make the best out of it.

So coming to the US, that usually means I'm awake super early.

So my dad and I, we were up at, I think, five or six this morning.

And I just try to make even more out of the day.

So this morning, we got up, we got some new electro scooters that we saw yesterday.

We downloaded the app, set it up, found some electric scooters and took them all the way

to the San Francisco Bay and piers.

And then we basically just spent the day hanging out there.

We flew my drone by the water, we flew up hear near the Coit Tower...

We talked a lot, had a really good time and now we're just on the way to get some sushi.

So I know you might have been looking for a way to beat jet lag when you started this video

but for me what I figured out is I've just come to accept it.

The first couple days are usually tough, especially if it's, like, a 9-hour time difference.

I just embrace it, I try to make the best out of the fact that I'm up super early, have

energy early in the day, maybe take a nap in the afternoon or do something chill like

today.

And then I don't go to sleep too late.

Wouldn't want to have it otherwise.

Like, today was a beautiful day, got so much done in this day, even though it's a Sunday.

With that, see you guys in the next episode.

The Scribble Animation - How To - Duration: 2:51.

Hey, what's up! It's Chris from BrookerFilms and in today's video I'm going to

show you how to do this.

To complete this effect all that we need is some footage and Adobe After Effects.

So once we've loaded up After Effects we're just going to start a new

composition and we want to make sure the width is 1920 and our height is 1080 and

we'll press 'ok.' So once we made that we're just going to

come over to here and press 'import file' and we're just got to find the video file

that we want to create the effect on.

Once you've got your footage onto the timeline we need to change our

window, so we're going to come up here, go to 'workspace' and we're going to press

the paint tool. So you're just going to come up to here and select the brush

tool, then you want to make sure that just before you write on anything

you come over to the 'duration tab' and change that from custom to single frame

and I'm literally just going to start drawing, so I'm going to start here and

we're just going to pull on to the next frame and we're going to progress that

animation onwards.

Okay, so that's that. We're just going to quickly watch that

back and just make sure that looks ok. So playback... That's quite nice.

That's nice! So that's one variation of the electric effect another variation would

be a full-body animation

So let's go back and watch this animation. So as you can see over here, this is our

first animation and then the second one that we've literally just done now...

Full paint over. So as you can see, this is quite time-consuming but this effect is

really cinematic and really creative.

So there you have it, the electric animation effect. Thank you ever so much

for watching this video, if you found it helpful whatsoever then please do let me

know in the comment section below and don't forget to press the subscribe

Tablecloth to Skirt Transformation | Sewing how to | Whitney Sews - Duration: 4:31.

Hi everyone!

I'm Whitney and I post a new tutorial every Wednesday here on Whitney Sews to help sewers

of all skill levels learn new projects and techniques.

This week I'm going to show how I turned a vintage tablecloth into a fun new skirt.

If you haven't already, make sure to hit that red subscribe button down below so you don't

miss out on any of my future sewing tutorials.

To get started I needed my tablecloth, a bit of fabric to make the waistband, and some

2 inch wide elastic.

I took my hip measurement and rounded up to the nearest inch.

Then got the radius by divided by 6.28 which is 2 times pi.

Then I used a tape measure to mark that out from the corner of a piece of paper to form

a quarter circle.

This is the pattern I will use to cut the waist opening in the center of the tablecloth.

This is the same way I go about making a circle skirt, only this time I'm only having to create

the waist and not the entire skirt.

I folded the tablecloth in half then in half again lining up the edges as closely as possible.

My tablecloth was a wonky oval to begin with so it didn't all line up perfectly, but that

is ok.

I placed the circle quarter I had drawn and cut before on the corner where all the folds

are and clipped it in place with craft clips.

Then I cut along the edge of the paper to have a waist.

Here is what the part I cut away looks like.

I cut a piece of elastic that fit snuggly around my waist.

I overlapped the ends and sewed them together so it made a loop.

I cut a strip from my coordinating fabric that was about my hip size by 5.5 inches.

Folded it in half and sewed the short sides together.

Fold the loop in half so the good sides are on the outside and the bottom edges are lined

up.

I place the elastic between the layers into the fold and run the presser foot along the

edge of the elastic to sew it into place.

I've used this same style of waist band on several projects recently because I think

it has a nice clean look when it's finished.

I like to sew another row or two of stitching down the center of the elastic as well.

This can cut down on some of the stretch if you are using lower quality elastic, but I

like the look of the extra stitching.

When I cut the waist opening I didn't take into account how loosely woven this fabric

is, so the waist ended up stretching and being too large.

So I sewed four darts along the waist to take up the excess.

Once the elastic waistband is on the darts aren't really noticeable so it all worked

out.

After the darts were sewn I put the waistband against the right side of the skirt lining

up the raw edges.

Then I sewed around twice to attach the two together.

If you are making a similar project you can serge the edges, zig zag over them, or cut

with pinking shears if you want to cut down on fraying.

And here is how it turned out!

I love it so much!

It's such a fun one of a kind skirt and used a tablecloth and some fabric from my stash!

I have other clothing refashionings I've done and they will all be in a playlist linked

right over here to the side, if you want to see some of my behind the scenes vlogs one

will be linked right below that.

Until next time, Happy Sewing!

HOW TO ACCEPT YOUR SEXUALITY - Duration: 9:19.

[Intro music plays]

Hey guys, it's me Chasey Poo, and today

I'm wearing this hat... Ok, my hair is just a mess and I'm talking about sexuality and stuff

And I just wanna look good for you, okay? I just wanna look good for you

[Chuckles]

Alright, how's it going today today?

Today we are talking about how to accept your sexuality

So, mini story time in the beginning of my life and my experience with my sexuality

Accepting myself was so hard because I

realized that I liked girls when I was 12 so this is 2003, ok?

And there was like no representation, there was nothing

And I didn't know anyone who was gay

I did not know that it was okay for girls to like girls, and I didn't know that...

I...

Could be happy and accepted being who I am

So, I'm gonna say "luckily we are now in 2018 and a lot of parents and people and friends and people

and there's representation and stuff like that, it's easier to come out and accept yourself"

All of this in quotations because not everyone's experience is the same but

from what I have seen there are a lot of people who are able to come out and have a lot easier time right now

Which is really great because I literally did not know that we could be different, and that would be okay

I thought that if you're different, that's bad

So I'm really glad that we live in a world now where there's so much representation

Even if your friends and your family and your school don't accept it

At least you know that there are people like that that exist...

I guess?

I guess that's what I'm trying to say because it's not easier, but

you know that people exist

So, for me

I didn't know those people existed

I didn't know that those feelings were okay to have, so

It was really really hard for me to accept myself

And I remember when I was in grade seven I told one of my friends, "I think I'm bisexual"

And she was okay with it, she was like "Oh, my brother's gay. That's fine". I was like, "Oh my god!"

But then my other friend was like, "That's disgusting"

and she walked away from me

So if that doesn't put you back in the closet

I don't know what does, but that did. Surely it did.

Here's the thing, I knew that liked girls... and I did not know if I liked boys, and I feel like I...

I...

Back then I feel like you had to cling to a label and I feel like that's the same today

and I'm gonna explain why I think that

So when I finally was able to accept myself as a

Uhm... Like a... like a lesbian. A woman who loves --

Oh my god. That's just weird to say because I'm

no longer this, but

when I've accepted my lesbian identity, it felt very

good

But I was still very shy about it, and didn't want to tell people about it

So I guess what really helped me honestly, and I know that you're gonna laugh

But it's literally The L Word

Because I came out around the time that The L Word was

I think it was like season 2 of The L Word

And that reeeeeally really really really helped me

Honestly, because I saw someone who liked girls on TV, and I was like "I'm a person who likes girls

and I'm not on TV, but I -- that's me"

But then, huntys, that's not even the end of this saga

Sega? Saga... Sega's the game, saga is the Twilight saga

[Laughter]

Uhm, I...

When I came out as trans I was like

"I still like women so I guess I don't know how to identify myself, I'm a lesbian"

But here's the thing, okay?

I -- I feel like I have

repressed so much of who I was because I wasn't happy with how I was presenting and

I wasn't out as trans and people did not see me as male

that I felt like I was repressing so much that when I came out

and I was finally able to be seen as who I am inside and I felt so comfortable with my body

I was able to say, "Yeah, you know what? I actually also like men"

So I like men and I like women and I also like people who are in between

and people who have no gender, also --

It liiiiiiiterally doesn't matter to me because people are people

So for me, it was a very interesting thought to have

But I want to go back to like accepting your identity

So there's this thing wh-- it still happens. I'm like, "Come on, man. We're 2018

can we just figure this out?"

So I feel like once you identify as a lesbian and...

You can never go back... Like you can't be like, "Oh, I actually like men"

Because if you do do that, people are like, "Oh you're bisexual, you're pansexual"

I feel like there are a lot of people in the lesbian community that like

squint at you like, "Oh you went back to men"

And it's so weird

Even your family and friends, it's like, "Well, you made this hooge thing of-- hooge

You made this huge thing about being a lesbian and now you're -- you're not a lesbian anymore"

"And you don't like women anymore, and you made us change all of these things about us"

And it's just

like a -- like a weird place that we're in and I feel like that was a big thing when I was younger

And it's still a thing now like

Oh my god like, that was like 15 years ago

Jesus

Oh my god, I'm old! [Sigh]

Oh my god, L Word is like 15 years old?

Jesus Christ

So the reason why I felt like it was important to mention that is because

when I came out my dad and my stepmom assumed that I still

only wanted to be with women and I wanted to be with lesbian women

and that was really confusing when I told them that the person that I'm dating

is like a straight girl or something like that

Like they -- they were like, "I don't understand"

Like they couldn't wrap their mind around how a straight woman could be with me

So that was a really weird place to be in honestly

Or like two years ago when I was seeing a guy

And I like, told them that I was seeing a guy

They kind of like squinted, and they were like really confused

And they were like, "He's gay"

And I was like, "Yes he's gay"

And I guess they were like, "But how can a gay man be with you?"

And it was just like, it's -- it's weird because

It's like they expect you to like women forever

And it's like, well now that I'm comfortable

I can actually express who I am and I'm actually more comfortable being with whoever

And whenever and... [Chuckles] and whenever

basically the moral of the story is

To accept your own sexuality

[Between teeth] Fuck everyone

I'm kidding, but for real you need to not cling on to labels, I feel

Some people love labels. Some people need labels, absolutely

But if those labels that you are clinging on to are hurting you and hurting the people around you

That's not a good thing

Like if you're like, "No, no, no I'm going to identify as a gay man

And you are clinging on to that identity because that's how you feel inside and that's how you are

But then you're like "Oh, I kinda have feelings for women, I don't know what to do"

But you're like, "No, no, no but I'm a gay man. I can't have feelings for women"

Then that's very harmful to you because you're not expressing the

Like, the feelings that you're having inside and you're allowed to express

And go outside of this label that you or other people have attached to you

And for such a long time I didn't think I was able to do that

And I was literally like in the sha--

Like, literally in the shadows like I was like

"Oh, I've told everybody that I like women so I can only be with women", but I was like

"But I really want to experiment and like see what it's like to be with men"

So I was like, [typing noises] on Craigslist

Don't do that

And Craigslist and like meeting people and like on Grindr and stuff, not really telling anyone

Until eventually I was like "I can't keep this a secret. I'm having a lot of fun. I'm like enjoying my body

I'm enjoying the people that I'm with, even if it's men even if it's women

If it's non-binary, it doesn't matter

But if you know if it's non-binary, non-binary people

It doesn't matter and it feels great and empowering to be able to use my body

And...

express my sexuality in different ways where it doesn't matter who I'm with

So I wanted to get out of this shadow

Literally though, I was in the shadow like it feels like I was like

Because it was all that night, and it was secret and no one knew

It was like "Oh what'd you do today?" Oh nothing. I'm busy. Oh what am I doing?"

But now I want to tell you about a little little sexual crisis

Sexuality crisis that I had

Uhm, that... that was really interesting because I'm

You hear me, I'm this like super open person, it doesn't matter

but I think because I'm so used to being seen as queer and

I've been used to be seen as queer and being with men and stuff like that

And like everyone assumes that I'm gay

Which I don't really care like whatever, even though I like women

I feel like

to be...

attracted to women is a beautiful thing and to be attracted to anyone is a beautiful thing

But I feel like because I'm so used to be seen as queer that if I was with a woman

I would feel slightly uncomfortable in the beginning only because I am so queer and I want to remain queer

But

This was a crisis I had a couple of months ago, okay?

I will tell you now that I realize that it does not matter who I'm with

Whose hand I am holding because I will be queer no matter what, all right?

I don't care what other people think, I don't care what

--People still assume I'm gay

They'll look at the person and be like, "You know your boyfriend's gay, right?"

Which is funny to me because I -- I, it's just funny

Because I'm with this person, that's who I'm with. You know what I'm saying?

I don't know if that makes any sense, but that makes a little bit of sense for me

I'm being a little vague right now, but whatever, uhm...

So yeah, so...

really just... [Chuckles]

It's like, it's non-stop for me

Sorry that's a little bit vague. I know it's a little bit complicated and confusing

But if you want me to elaborate I guess ask me in the comments, and I'll talk about it a little bit

But I feel like even though I'm this super open person

I still had a problem with looking straight because I've been looking queer for such a long time

So that's really interesting to me, but like I said, I don't really care anymore

I've like gone to a place where I don't really care and also

Uhm... Why do I care what other people think about me?

You know what really matters? It's how I perceive myself

So I don't know if I actually really gave you advice on how to accept your sexuality, but really just...

Just do you. You don't have to cling on to labels. You could just say that you are queer

You could just say that you are straight. You could just say that I don't know you could literally said

I literally -- said. You could said.

You could literally say, "I -- I don't know. I don't know my sexuality"

"I don't know who I'm attracted to. Maybe I'm not attracted to anyone

Maybe I'm asexual. Who knows?"

Uhm... So yeah

Let me know anything in the comments, and I'll talk to you later

Have a great week, bye!

Building A Modern Credenza Bookcase // How To - Woodworking - Duration: 13:10.

What's going on everybody, I'm Johnny Brooke, welcome back to another Crafted Workshop video.

In today's video, I'm going to show you how to build my biggest piece to date, this credenza

bookcase combo.

This is two separate pieces, just in case you were wondering right off the bat. Obviously,

this is way too big to move if it was one single piece, kind of a cool modular system.

It's all built out of Purebond Walnut veneer plywood, love the way it came out. I did some

hardwood edge banding to cover up the edges of the plywood, and I really like the way

that looks.

Just overall super happy with the way this project came together, so without further

adieu, let's go ahead and get started with the build.

To break down the plywood sheets, I used a combination of tools, first starting at the

table saw to break down the larger pieces.

After ripping the pieces to length, I crosscut them to width using my Rockler Crosscut Sled.

For some of the longer pieces that were too long to manage with the crosscut sled, I used

my track saw and cut the matching pieces at the same time to make sure they were the exact

same size.

The side panels of the bookcase section have a decorative curved section cut out, so next

I worked on getting that cut to shape. I traced the curve using a compass and then ripped

a straight line at the table saw to the point where the curve started.

Next, I used my jigsaw to cut the curve, but I was left with an uneven curve and just couldn't

get it dialed in by hand to where I was happy with it. The human eye is really good at seeing

when circular objects aren't perfectly round, so I was having a tough time with this.

Then I remembered I have an X-Carve, so I used that to knock out a quick curve template.

I trimmed off the excess from the side panel and then attached the template with double

stick tape, and then used a flush trim bit in my router to route the side panel flush

with the template. This left me with an absolutely perfect curve.

With the curve cut, I ripped the straight section flush with the curve at the table

saw off camera, and then could create the matching panel using the completed panel as

a template. I cut away the excess using a jigsaw and then clamped the two panels together

and used the router to flush cut the edges.

Once the edges were cut, I came back with a sanding block to remove any tool marks and

get the edges perfectly even.

With all of the pieces cut out, next I needed to start getting the plywood edges covered

with edge banding. In the past, I've always used peel and stick edge banding, but it can

be really fragile and has a tendency to crack, and can just kind of be a pain to work with.

On this build, I decided to cut my own hardwood edge banding, which I did at the bandsaw.

Each strip was roughly 3/16" thick, which gave me plenty of material to work with.

After ripping the strips at the bandsaw, I smoothed them all out at the drum sander and

brought them all down to a consistent thickness.

If you don't have a drum sander, you could rip these strips at the table saw and they

would be plenty smooth enough for this type of application.

To attach the edge banding to the panels, I used glue and clamped the banding in place

using Rockler's Bandy Clamps. I thought I had way too many of these things but ended

up using every single one of them multiple times on this build, there was just a ton

of edge banding to glue on.

As you can see, the edge banding was left about ¼" wider than the plywood, to leave

plenty of overhang on each side, so after the glue dried, I needed to flush up the edge

banding.

I used a trim router and a spiral flush trim bit to do this, and found this awesome Little

Lipper attachment from FastCap for my trim router, and that allowed me to run it on edge.

This was the perfect tool for the job and I was able to perfectly trim all of the edge

banding super quick.

The only tricky part of the edge banding process was the curved edges of the side panels. The

3/16" edge banding was too thick for this, so I brought it down to about ⅛" thick,

but it was still a little brittle. I used some hot water to soften up the wood and then

clamped it to the template I had cut earlier and let it dry, which helped it keep that

shape. After it dried, I glued it onto the side panels just like the rest of the edge

banding and it worked perfect.

With all of the edge banding applied, I could move on to the joinery for the credenza cabinet.

I used my Domino for this process, but you could definitely use dados, dowel joinery,

or pocket holes, there are tons of other options for cabinet construction out there.

I used the wing attachments on the Domino to get even spacing from the edges of the

cabinet, so I didn't need to mark out all of the Domino locations. This really sped

things up, and I was able to cut all of the joinery for the cabinet super quickly.

To cut the mortises for the center dividers, I clamped one of the dividers to the top or

bottom panels, made sure it was square, and used it as the reference surface for the Domino,

which worked great.

Once all of the mortises were cut for the credenza, I went ahead and glued it up, which

went pretty smoothly, although I used way too much glue and had a ton of squeeze out

to contend with.

While I'm working, let's talk about one of the sponsors of this week's project,

Purebond plywood. I really love using Purebond, it's a formaldehyde-free hardwood plywood

that's made in the USA, actually right down the road from me here in North Carolina, and

it's super high quality. Basically, any time I'm using plywood on a project, especially

for furniture, I'm using Purebond. Purebond is formaldehyde-free, uses soy based glues,

and is available exclusively at Home Depot, and I'll have a link in the video description

if you'd like to learn more.

With the credenza carcass drying, I moved on to the bookcase, which was basically the

same as the credenza. Once again, I used the Domino for the joinery and it went really

quickly.

Also, I am just loving the assembly table I built a few months ago. The t-track clamps

are super handy, and I've got plans available in case you're interested in building one

of these tables for yourself. I use it on every build and it's become one of the most

essential pieces in my shop.

Once all of the joinery was cut, I moved on to gluing up the bookcase, which was a real

challenge due to the sheer size of the piece. I didn't have any clamps long enough to

reach across the 64" wide bookcase, so I used some strap clamps, which worked really

well. This was definitely a stressful glue up, having an extra set of hands would have

been really helpful for sure.

Since the bookcase and credenza cabinets are two separate units, I had to think through

how the two would attach, and I decided to add a strip to the bottom back edge of the

bookcase to allow a mending plate to be attached and a screws to be added from behind later

on.

I attached this strip using pocket screws, since these screws will be covered up by the

back panel anyway.

Next, I needed to notch out the bottom dividers on the bookcase so they could be attached

around the strip, and I marked out the notch using the strip as reference and then cut

the notch using my bandsaw.

With the strip in place and the dividers notched, I could glue the dividers in place using the

Domino mortises I cut earlier. I used these Rockler corner clamps to make sure the dividers

were square to the shelves while the glue dried.

Once the glue dried, I came back and attached the strip to the dividers using a couple of

screws from the back side of the strip, just to give the dividers a little more stability.

With all of the pieces in place, I could attach the back panel to the bookcase and credenza.

I used ¼" Purebond Walnut veneered plywood for the back panel, to match the rest of the

cabinet, and I cut the sections to rough size at the table saw.

Before gluing on the back panel, I marked out the locations of the shelves and dividers

so I knew where I could add brad nails to hold the panel in place while the glue dried.

I also added a few spacers to the top shelf, to make sure it didn't sag at all during

the glue up.

Next, I added glue to the back edges of all of the pieces, dropped the back panel into

place, and added 1" brad nails every foot or so.

After the glue dried, I came back with a flush trim bit on my router and flushed the back

panel up with the sides of the bookcase and credenza.

With the back panel flushed up, I swapped to a chamfer bit and chamfered the edges of

the back panel so that the chamfered edge was flush with the sides of the cabinets.

This little trick really helps to hide the back panel and gives it a super clean look.

Now that the credenza carcass was finished, I could cut the doors and shelves to size

based on the actual final size of the credenza. This was more of the same process, cutting

the pieces to size from plywood and then adding hardwood edge banding.

I accidentally cut some of the shelves too narrow, so I made up for that extra length

by adding thicker edge banding, which worked out perfectly.

I didn't show most of the sanding on this build, just because it's boring, but there

was definitely plenty of it. I got through a lot of audiobooks on this project, hah.

While I'm sanding, let's talk about the sponsor of this week's video, Rocker Woodworking

and Hardware. I used a ton of Rockler products during this build, including their bandy clamps,

t-track clamps, crosscut sled, tapering jig, bench cookies, and lots more, and I'll have

links to all of the items I used in the video description below.

Rockler has got tons of great tools and accessories for your next build, and they're always

coming up with new and innovative ideas to help make your woodworking more efficient

and more enjoyable. Thanks again to the folks at Rockler for sponsoring this build.

Next, I could start getting the hardware added to the credenza. First, I drilled the shelf

pin holes using a homemade jig. I used ¼" brass shelf pins, which I think looked super

nice with the Walnut.

Next, I drilled the holes for the inset hinges I used on this project. I used this little

Kreg hinge jig which allowed me to drill perfectly square holes without using my drill press.

It also has guides for pilot holes for the screws that hold the hinge in place. It was

really useful, and I'll have a link to it in the video description below in case you're

interested.

For the door pull, I decided to keep it simple and just drill a hole through the door. I

used an 1 ½" Forstner bit for this and drilled the hole at the drill press.

After I drilled the hole in the door, I chamfered both sides to give it a clean look and a better

feel. I really like the way these pulls look on the final piece, they're super clean,

minimal, and obviously really easy.

Next, I hung the doors on the cabinet, first marking out the screw locations and pre-drilling

before adding the doors. These Blum soft-close hinges are nice and adjustable and it was

really easy to get an even reveal all the way around the door. Also, I just love how

smoothly they close, so satisfying.

The last part of this build was the base, which you might have seen in previous shots.

I actually built the base along the way, but figured I'd keep it all together to make

it easier to follow in the video.

I only had 5/4 Walnut on hand, so I first needed to mill the wood square and then glue

up some of the pieces to get the 8/4 thickness I was looking for on this base. The base will

be supporting a ton of weight between the bookcase, credenza, and all of the contents

of the two pieces once they're loaded up, so I wanted something really beefy.

After the glue up, I milled all of the parts square, cut them to length over at the miter

saw, and then cut a taper on the legs using the Rockler Tapering Jig. I ideally wanted

splayed legs on this piece, but I was worried that there would be too much weight on the

legs and the splay would cause the legs to fail.

For the joinery on the base, I used, you guessed it, Dominos, and the process went super quick.

I used two Dominos per corner and this made for a super strong base.

Once all of the mortises were cut, I glued the base together. Also, you can tell how

long I've been working on this piece, since I still had the pegboard up in the background

of this shot. This project has been lurking in the background for a few months and I'm

really happy to have it finished up finally.

To attach the base to the underside of the credenza, I used 1 ¼" pocket screws, so

I needed to drill some recessed holes for the screws. I used a Forstner bit to drill

the recess and then drilled the through hole using a twist bit.

Before attaching the base to the credenza, I gave it a good sanding, and then used the

aforementioned pocket screws to permanently attach the base to the underside of the credenza.

After sanding all of the parts up to 180 grit off camera, it was finally time to apply finish.

I went with General Finishes Enduro Var, which is a waterborne polyurethane, and sprayed

it with my Fuji Q3 HVLP system. You certainly could wipe or brush on the finish on a piece

like this, but it would have taken forever.

These huge pieces are really where spraying finish excels, and I was able to finish this

whole piece in an afternoon, spraying three coats and scuff sanding before the last coat.

The last step on this build was to attach the credenza to the bookcase. This is really

just a safety mechanism, it keeps the bookcase from sliding off the credenza when in use.

I needed to make sure the screws went into the dividers in the credenza, so I measured

and marked out where to add the plate. On the bookcase, it didn't really matter where

the screws landed since I added that strip during the build process.

With that, this massive build was finished. Man, that was a lot of work!

Alright, hopefully you guys enjoyed this one. This was a pretty massive undertaking for

me, definitely my biggest project to date, but I'm super happy with the way it came out.

There were a lot of time consuming steps, for example, putting on the hardwood edge

banding on all of these edges took a really long time, but I just love the way it came

together.

If you guys want more information on how to build this project, I will have plans available.

You can check out my website for that, I'll have a link in the video description below.

Also in the video description below, I'll have links to all of the tools and materials

I used on this build, which there were a lot of them.

And last, I want to say a big thanks to the sponsors of this week's video. Without my

sponsors, I could not do this for a living, so if you guys want to support me, support

my sponsors.

Alright, thanks again for watching everybody and, until next time, happy building.

How To Handle Unavoidable Contact With Your Ex - Duration: 10:42.

what's up YouTube it's your favorite breakup expert Brad browning here with

another video about getting back together with your ex if you don't want

to win you back your your ex-boyfriend or your ex-girlfriend then obviously

this isn't gonna be the video for you but if you do want to get back together

with an ex or if you're at least considering it then you will want to

watch this video all the way to the end and that's because I'm going to explain

how you can make sure that you turn any unavoidable contact with your ex into a

positive thing that's actually gonna help you win them back now I'll be

talking about what to do if you still live with your ex which is quite common

and I'll also share some tips on what to do if you have to see your ex you know

at work or at school every single day and I'm also going to talk a little bit

what to do when you just randomly run into your ex you know out in the world

of the gym the grocery store whatever so by the time you finish watching this

video basically you're gonna know how to turn any unavoidable encounters with

your ex into positive conversations that are gonna actually help your cause and

getting them back now before I begin I do want to just add one quick disclaimer

if you haven't already done so I suggest you begin by watching the full free

video my website breakupbrad.com now you guys really need to have a solid game

plan for winning your ex back you can't just wing it

so that's what that how-to video on my website is gonna help you do and in that

video I also explain some common mistakes that you absolutely must avoid

making if you want your ex back so start by watching that video at

breakupbrad.com if you haven't yet and then you'll be in a much better position

to begin using some of the strategies that I'm gonna cover in this video

alright to begin with let's get one thing straight I don't recommend

intentionally spending time with your ex unless you've already completed 30 days

or more of no contact and you know exactly what you're doing until you get

to that point or if you if you don't have a clear idea of how to use

encounters with your ex to to build attraction and help win them back then

you're probably just going to do more harm than good

but let's begin by talking about a problem that many of my coaching clients

face and that is what to do when you have to see your ex regularly at work or

at school so here's a couple of tips for handling that type of situation number

one is to turn your ex's expectations upside down see after a breakup I mean

what do you think that your ex is going to expect you to be feeling sad heart

can lonely angry you know the typical breakup emotions which you probably

really are feeling inside right now and I know how much it sucks feeling like

that trust me but you need to hide those emotions when you're around your ex in

fact if you can go one better and actually pretend that you're you're

actually feeling the exact opposite you know you act happy upbeat you know

excited about the future that by itself is gonna cause some serious doubts in

your ex's mind now I'm not gonna bore you guys with the psychological

reasoning behind why doing the exact opposite of what your ex expects is so

effective but basically it just forces them to second-guess their decision to

break up then this in turn changes the way that they feel about you so when

you're around your ex you know don't be a downer pretend to be happy or at least

pretend like you're you're already over them and you're moving on to exciting

new things put on your happy face so to speak alright and on to tip number two

which is to create mystery by dropping subtle hints so similar to my last tip

this one also involves playing some simple mind games on your ex now you

have to be careful not to make this too obvious because it can backfire on you

badly if you're not careful but basically though what you want to do

is make some sort of comment when you're talking to your ex or when you know that

they can hear you that hints at a date you're going on or someone special that

you've met recently so for example maybe your ex is you know standing within

earshot when you're talking to another friend you might say something like

sorry I can't hang out tonight I'd love to but I'm taking my friend to the new

Bond movie the key is just to avoid you know giving any more details or making

it into a big deal you know just casually and subtly mention something

like that in order to plant the idea in your ex's mind and let them spend the

rest of the day wondering who this friend is and whether it's actually a

date that you're going on so basically just just let your ex's imagination

create some jealousy and shift their overall perceptions of you now again

guys this is a potentially dangerous tactic that can get you in trouble if

you're not careful so make sure you you at least actually have plans to you know

go to a movie that night for instance so that you don't get caught trying to

incite jealousy or look like an idiot for making something up just because you

knew your acts could hear you however if you do get this

it can be extremely powerful and really make your ex doubt whether they should

have let you go after all okay and number three pretty simple just keep it

fun look I've said this in so many of my other videos and I stress this

throughout my X Factor program as well you've got to avoid getting into any

kind of drama or negative conversations with your ex nothing kills attraction

faster then yet another argument or another drawn-out discussion over the

state of your relationship and your future together these are the the

natural types of discussions that that recently broken up couples usually tend

to have but they're also the absolute worst thing if you're trying to rebuild

your ex's attraction for you so this is especially important if you if you must

see your ex regularly and you can't avoid contact you know keep any

conversations upbeat light-hearted and then enjoyable for your ex so that means

absolutely no getting sucked into bickering jealousy drama anything that

might further confirm your ex's belief that you're better off apart if you want

to win someone back basically you need to make yourself look like a fun

interesting partner that they'll enjoy spending time with now let's move on

here and talk about what to do if you still live with your ex this is a really

tough situation to be in and quite honestly your strategy may need to

change depending on the exact details of the break-up I'm happy to learn about

your specific situation and give you some advice and ongoing coaching as to

how to exactly handle things in your situation if you'd like my help you want

to sign up for my coaching please go to breakupbrad.com slash coaching to see if

I currently have any coaching spots available again breakupbrad.com slash

coaching and on that page you'll see all the details about working with me on an

ongoing basis as well as my current availability now that being said I can

give you some general tips on handling a situation where you want to employ no

contact but you still live with your ex firstly you really need to avoid

spilling your emotions at home you know if you can avoid it try to get out of

the house and hang out you know at a friend's house while you get through the

worst of the initial heartache and as I mentioned earlier you don't wanna be you

know crying alone at home every night after you've been dumped because that is

exactly what your ex expects and it's not going to make them want you

so instead you want to act like you're fine with the break-up you know and

you're moving on to bigger and better things so try to convey those emotions

when you happen to be you know at home when your ex is around and avoid showing

any negative emotions that might reveal your true feelings quite frankly it's

usually best to employ what I call limited contact for the first you know

30 to 60 days after the break-up get out of the house as much as possible and

just limit any conversations with your ex to two essential topics only now

don't completely change your routine just to avoid running into your ex

that's gonna look kind of suspicious and weird as well just stay busy and try to

avoid being around you know at home when your ex is also there whenever you can

basically and if you do run into them keep those essential conversations

friendly non confrontational and positive and you know basically only

engage where you absolutely need to now it's also usually wise to avoid

making any commitments in regards to moving out or finding a new place to

live if you can do so without you know angering your ex sometimes your ex may

want to move out of the house quickly and you should let them do so without

putting up a fight be positive and supportive if you need to be and don't

fuss over it if your ex you know seems to be insistent about all right and

finally I want to quickly touch on how to handle one-off unavoidable account

encounters with your ex so for instance say you're attending a mutual friend's

wedding next weekend and you've been planning to go for months already or or

what if you had just happened to go to the same gym as your ex and you might

run into him or her there you know once in a while yes these are all you know

completely fair questions and ones that I hear a lot from my clients now this is

a bit of a shameless plug here but I would like to say that reading through

my entire best-selling ex factor guide would be the absolute best way to

prepare yourself for any unexpected encounters with your ex because it's

going to give you a clear plan for any and all situations including those

random encounters that just might happen I mean in fact I've actually included a

number of one-liners in the book that you can you can use to answer common

questions that your ex will likely ask you in that type of situation so if you

haven't already signed up for the x-factor you can do so now a risk free

fat breakupbrad.com just head over there after this video

and start by watching the free explainer video on my website then sign up and

register for your copy and you'll get access to the entire program within just

a minute or two after you complete your order okay

anyway shameless plug out of the way there if you are facing this kind of

situation where you run into your ex or you're worried you might run into your

ex you know someday in the near future then my biggest piece of advice is to

play it cool when you run to your ex you know no matter the reason and regardless

of whether you were prepared for it or not just be cool calm and collected you

know don't make a big deal out of it don't let yourself get frazzled or

emotional and avoid anything other than the casual friendly light-hearted

chitchat make sure you clearly convey to your ex how well you've been doing since

the break-up how much you've changed and and how much you've improved and learned

from it and if you're feeling confident try using the mystery building tactic

that I covered earlier in this video to use the situation to your advantage most

important though is that you look good you act confident and positive and you

give off the impression of someone who's moving on quickly from the break-up and

that will of course once again help to plant the seeds of self-doubt in your

ex's mind and make them question whether it was a good idea to let someone so

awesome slip out of their life okay guys I could keep talking about this stuff

for a lot longer but I think I'll leave it there if I've missed something in

this video I mean she's got a quick question about your situation you know

what to do leave me a comment below the video and I will get back to you

personally and please don't forget to subscribe to my channel as well if you

found this this video even a little bit useful your support means a lot I really

HOW DO I EDIT MY VIDEOS? Filmora software review |Asmr sub in english| - Duration: 17:46.

Hi, my dear, how are you?

I'm Sasha and I invite you to subscribe to my channel and activate the bell!

Welcome to this new asmr video, where we'll talk about how I edit my videos

hi, hi my dear, how are you?

welcome to another asmr video

Today, taking advantage of the collaboration with Filmora, to talk about how I edit my videos

today I will talk about a particular software that, to be honest,

it is not the software I currently use to edit my videos

but I recommend it especially to people who want to start or learn how to edit professionally

I emphasize that all changes, color filters, transitions and effects

you are seeing and you will see in this video

before showing you the editing part, they were created and modified with the Filmora software

ok, I want to basically talk about different points

As I said in my past videos, in general

Not always

I edit with Adobe Premiere, but I also use other editing programs

but what I really liked about Filmora is that

To be a professional or semi-professional software

It costs very little

in comparison to other professional software for editing

really the quality-price ratio, it's excellent

and it's super easy to manage. Let's say that the first time I opened Premiere

What is this? Many buttons on all sides, many functions

it was a bit confusing at first

unfortunately, at that time I did not know Filmora

because when you open this program it is very easy to understand

It has an interface and a design that is easy to understand, and this is the first reason why I highly recommend it

to people who want to start entering the editing world

Or to people who edit professionally and are looking for

a cheaper option than the other editing software available

I want to mention, I'm doing this video

also because lately, especially since the day I did

the vlog about how much you earn with youtube and the asmr

If you want to see it, I'll leave it the link

I received, to my surprise, many emails and messages on how to start an asmr channel

and what I recommend to edit

Well, for those people who wrote to me I hope this video is useful

Now, things that I liked a lot about this software

the excellent color filters!

color filter, color filter and color filter again

And like any girl who likes photography and video, I like playing with color filters

and that's why I really liked this software

among other things, something very interesting that has

and Premiere does not have, it's free music!

it has an infinite amount of music that you can use for your videos, free and paid.

You know that on YouTube you can not upload videos with music that is not owned by you

or that it is not intellectually free, so to speak, because

they block the video for copyright and well this software has this, lots of free music.

It also has many great transitions!

Even more than Premiere transitions

this also surprised me a lot, transitions here, transitions there

many and many transitions! For all that I mentioned

I will definitely use this software later on for some of my videos

it also has an infinite amount of overlays ... what is an overlay? This for example!

Supports 4k, it is available for both Windows and Mac

in short, it has many beautiful things

if you are interested, below I leave the download link

among other things, another thing I forgot to mention

what you're seeing right now on the screen, has been captured with the recording functionality

Another useful function included in the software.

anyway, let's start to see how I edited this video

ok, first of all we open the program

We have choosen

obviously the format in which we want to edit

there is complete or simple mode

Let's see the complete one.

We import the video

you can also import photos directly from Instagram or Facebook, it gives you the ability to import them

obviously I will import from my computer the media file

And we import it

and we put it on the timeline, which is the bar below

for the moment I'm showing you the interface

As you can see it's simple, very simple, easy to understand, there are filters

Overlays that I told you, the elements that can be added to the video, very beautiful

very simple to understand

ok, we have now put the project here in the "timeline" bar

here we can

zoom to the timeline according to our needs

and here we can click to "render" the timeline and see directly what we are doing with fluidity

or the effects we will apply

ok, split is for, say, split one piece of video from another

we have separated it and this allows me to cut or if I want to delete the clip

For example at the beginning

with this button we can adapt the timeline to the software interface

so to speak, ok first of all let's go to

remove the beginning

and here, in this space I'm opening in the video

it's just to import and insert my "intro"

What you already know

we put the intro in the middle here, after the greeting, here you will see directly

on the right side of course we see directly what is happening

we can see how it's going

Well, in this part we will play with the color

we have the contrast, saturation, exposure, we can vary the parameters as we see fit

also has the self-improvement function

that is, the software selects the color parameters

Those that it considers best

Which are the best ones to add to the video

here we have more advanced parameters, always to play with the color of the video

and well,

generally, I do not like this option, that's why I remove it

I like to make the color from me, depending on how I see the changes in the video

It also has this part with pre-set color profiles, they are good, color profiles already made by the software

sometimes when I use them, they are very strong, so I prefer, as I said, to make the color

Based on how I like it, in fact I'm going to save this color profile

as I did earlier

So we can apply it to the whole video

Here I choose the custom color profile

that's exactly here, the color balance I've already done

Generally, when I apply filters

the color changes are very strong, that's why I do it myself

here we can place, as I told you, an overlay

for example, these black lines

Cinema style, I can put them thinner or thicker, depending on what I want

I really like to use them sometimes

here I will put the part that ... do you remember? At the beginning of the video I showed it,

the advertising of the Filmora website

Here I had to separate the audio from the video

for when you place the video of the web page

I click on PIP, which is this

we use here this new level, where you will see the video

of the Filmora website

And to listen the background voice without it being cut off

It's because we have to separate the audio from the video

and well now let's look at the part of the video

where I wanted to play with my hands, remember?

Where I said "filter, filter and still filter" ..

well here, let's put a transition

obviously in the video cut. In order to put a transition there must be a cut!

in this way you do not see a cut too drastic, so to speak

I did not like the first one, so I put this transition that I think is more beautiful

Well, do you remember the part of the video I played with my hands?

saying transitions, transitions .. good

We look for it in the video, where I moved my hands

I do the division and I put different transitions ...

to create the effect you saw earlier

In the video

and I can then add the transition I prefer

here instead I will add color filters in the same way

As you can see, the video changes completely

Sometimes, when I used them, you told me

but here Sasha looks more brunette

Well, it usually happens when I apply a very saturated filter

or I play too much with the colors without

realizing the result

I add the transition at the beginning and at the end

in this way when the video ends, see, it gets dark little by little

And when it starts, too.

So as not to create a clean cut

Now we export the video

Here I can choose the parameters I want

the format, the resolution, where it will go

I generally like to export to 12 MB / s

Because

I do not like doing it with a lower bitrate

although I know that YouTube only accepts up to 8 (in full HD 25 frames)

I like to save it in a superior quality

and that's why I personalize it like that

Here too there's a nice thing ...

it gives me the parameters already established

For Youtube or other social networks

So the software will export the video with the parameters already established by these social networks

Well, my dear, this was today's video

I hope it was useful

we arrived at the end and now we just have to wait for your video

a big kiss, and let me know here in the comments what you think! Bye Bye

How to Make The Most Amazing Strawberry Shortcake | The Stay At Home Chef - Duration: 4:34.

Today on The Stay At Home Chef

I'm showing you how to make

Strawberry Shortcake

Strawberry Shortcake is a beautiful dessert that's perfect

for spring and summer when strawberries are in season

To start you'll need

4 cups of all purpose flour

You want to place that into the bowl of a food processor

Now you could also do this in a bowl with a pastry cutter

but trust me, a food processor is a lot easier

Next add in 1 1/2 cups of powdered sugar

2 tablespoons of baking powder

and 2 teaspoons of salt

Then we'll pop the lid on and give this a quick pulse

Now this is a lot of the flour mixture so

depending on the size of your food processor

you may need to do this in batches

We are making a three layer strawberry shortcake

so it's a lot of dough

Next you'll need 8 tablespoons of cubed salted butter

We'll place that in and we'll start mixing that in as well

or you can use a pastry cutter if you're doing this by hand

So just a few pulses to combine until it looks like cornmeal

Once the butter is all cut in we're going to pour this

into a large mixing bowl

Now if you don't have a food processor

you'd be using a pastry cutter like this

and rocking it gently back and forth to cut all of the butter in

Or if you don't have a pastry cutter

you'd use two butter knives and simply cross them

against each other to cut the butter in that way

but that is significantly harder

Then we'll pour in 1 cup of milk and I'd use either

2% or whole milk as well as

1/2 cup of heavy whipping cream

and we're going to stir this together

You should end up with a nice sticky dough

Divide it into 3 pieces

Preheat your oven to 400 degrees

and lightly grease three 9-inch cake pans

and I like to add a little piece of parchment paper

on the bottom to make sure our cakes come out super easy

Take each piece of dough and press it gently

into the bottom of that pan and you want it to be

as flat and smooth as possible

Once they're all smooshed in the pan

we're going to bake these at 400 degrees fahrenheit

for 20 to 25 minutes until the tops are golden brown

Meanwhile we're going to put together our strawberry

and whipped cream fillings

You'll need 2 pounds of quartered strawberries in a bowl

You'll want to sprinkle on 2 tablespoons of sugar

the zest from 1 lemon

and the juice from 1 lemon which is about 4 tablespoons

and toss it all together

Set those aside and they'll get all sweet and syrup-y

and delicious

I love adding the lemon and lemon zest because

it adds a lot of brightness to the strawberries

Next we're going to make our whipped cream

and we want to make a stabilized whipped cream

so we have some special additions today

Pour 2 cups of heavy cream into the bowl of a stand mixer

or if you don't have one you can also use a hand mixer

Then we'll sprinkle in

1/3 cup of powdered sugar

which has cornstarch cut in and will help stabilize it

then I add in 2 tablespoons of actual cornstarch as well

and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

and we'll start this whipping

Now instead of using the cornstarch and powdered sugar

you could also use gelatin but I find that this

is an easier way to stabilize whipped cream at home

After a few minutes of whipping

stiff peaks will form and you're ready

Place your whipped cream in the fridge until

you are ready to assemble the cake

You need the cake layers to be completely cool

before assembling or your whipped cream will melt

Start assembling by placing a bunch of strawberries

on the first layer

Then we're going to take our whipped cream

I've put mine in a piping bag but you can just scoop it on

with a spoon as well

And we'll give a nice layer of whipped cream as well

Get some of those berries back on

And then just keep on layering until you get to the top

On this top pieces I'm just going to give a swirl

in the middle and finish it off with

a little pile of berries on top

This cake is best eaten fresh

and needs to be stored in the refrigerator

Now I'm sure you're all wondering how to cut it

The trick is to use a serrated knife

That'll give you a clean slice
