Here's What Happens To Your Brain When You Pass Away - Duration: 2:49.

The question, what happens to your brain when you die, has gone unanswered since the beginning

of human civilization.

Why is that?

Well researching a persons brain when they die was seen as unethical and controversial.

Well A neuroscientist has finally figured out the answer, and apparently star trek was

right all along.

Hey I'm Charlotte and you're watching inform overload.

Scientists at the Berlin University of Medicine, as well as the university of Cincinnati, examined

people who looked at patients who had suffered from a serious brain injury.

The do not resuscitate order was activated for these patients, which is the only reason

why it was 'ethical'.

According to their research The human brain can work for minutes after the heart stops

beating.

The heart supplies oxygen to the brain and the rest of the body.

But when the heart stops, the brain cant get the oxygen that it needs.

Within 20 to 40 seconds of the heart stopping, cerebral ischemia begins.

This is where neurons go into a type of sleep mode in order to conserve the energy that

they have left.

Apparently, even though the brain is technically inactive at this point, it could theoretically

be brought back to life.

After a few minutes, what known as a brain tsunami occurs.

Its basically a wave of neuroelectrical activity that sweeps through the brain.

According to IFL science, The reason for this is the brain cant maintain the uneven distribution

of ions between the inside and outside of nerve cells, so the neurons depolarize and

let out a surge of electrochemical energy.

Interestingly, star trek the next generation described this process in a 1988 episode.

In the episode.

Commander bevery crusher notes that lieutenant yar's brain can still be brought back to

life, even though there's no brain activity.

Another crew member says, neurons are beginning to depolarize, which is exactly whats explained

in this study which was published more than 30 years later.

Are the writers of star trek time travelers?

Probably not.

Its actually been known for quite some time that a similar process happens in animals

brains when they die, it just hadn't been studied in humans until recently..

This study has been published in the journal the Annals of Neurology.

Sensitive People Are More Like Angels With Broken Wings, Here's The Reasons - Duration: 3:53.

Sensitive People Are More Like Angels With Broken Wings, Here's The Reasons

Sensitive people are some of the best people, to the point that we believe they are all

angels in one way or another.

They are too amazing to be human and I will tell you why on this video.

For starter, they are probably the most sincere and honest person you have ever met.

There is nothing they will not tell about themselves if they believe in your kindness.

However, when you betray them, reject them or demean them, they will end the friendship

with you, after all, they are just a person in the end.

My point is, sensitive people deserve more than this world, or those in it, offer it.

Just because they have no wings does not mean they are not angels.

Angels can be found in some unexpected places.

Sensitive people are drastically affected by the negative things in the world.

They are the ones who are the best and the worst kind of angels.

They give too much and expect too little.

They are here to help us see things we often miss or are too busy to pay attention to.

Be thankful to such people in your life and if you are a sensitive person, thank you for

being an angel on this Earth.

So, here are some of the reasons why highly sensitive people are actually angels with

broken wings.

#1 - They live with constant guilt and pain over unfinished situations and misunderstandings.

They are tortured souls who can not live with hatred or hate.

#2 - They are the most compassionate people to know and the people who are often activists

for the brokenhearted, forgotten and misunderstood.

#3 - Filled with endless love for the universe, these wounded souls can not live by hating

others or knowing that they are hated by some.

They need the most love because people forever step over them all.

They do not expect much from anyone because they know they will not get it.

They remain positive and affectionate whatever the world throws at them.

They are extraordinary beings and I believe they are angels because they are the ones

who are able to accomplish so much, but do it by themselves.

#4 - They are able to heal the hearts of others and make amends.

They do not hold a grudge and they always do their best in everything they do.

They try harder than others and they succeed without realizing it every day.

#5 - No matter how much trauma they go through in their lives, if they find someone who is

destroyed, they will not retreat an inch; on the contrary, they will fight for them

and try their best to heal other damaged souls.

#6 - They compare themselves with those around them and become victims of the strange world

we live in.

They lose themselves in the same way we also lose ourselves.

Sensitive people are too pure to the world and they are forced to be here.

They suffered through their struggle and most did not complain at all.

#7 - They have a rich and complex inner life.

They are deeply tuned into the sensation of their bodies as there is nothing I can find

words to describe.

Sensitive people will face a lot of nonsense but once they have enough they will make their

boundaries known.

They live a life full of ups and downs, and extreme highs to extreme lows.

Well, those are the 7 reasons why highly sensitive people are actually angels with broken wings.

Really cool information isn't it?

Clash Royale - CLAN WARS IS HERE IN NEW UPDATE - BEST DECK FOR PREP DAY!? - Duration: 4:07.

Clan Wars in Clash Royale is finally out and in this video I'm gonna show you how I did

on preparation day and how I did with my one clan war battle and where my clan currently

is.

I'm really curious to hear your opinion on clan wars in Clash Royale.

There is a little poll right up here that you can click and vote whether you like it.

I'm very curious to hear your opinion.

Also please put in the comments of the video whatever your first impression about clan

wars is.

Let's go right into the video.

I decided to go with a golem deck because of my pretty high card levels.

I wanted to show you my three battles here in clan wars.

Ahhh the replays are no longer available.

Unfortunately I'm not able to show you those battles anymore because the replay's not available.

I was going first against this guy here.

I won 3:1 and that was a pretty tough match but as soon as I noticed that he's got mortar

I kind of had the advantage with my golem.

I played very aggressive and I got a three crown win here.

The funny thing about that match is, it's really funny.

I was totally unaware that you only have three matches for day one.

So I was really relaxed when playing this and three crowned.

When I played the second match here I was actually really aware that you only have 3

matches and I was a little bit more nervous and it was actually Golem vs Golem and I won

against the Golem deck.

A 1:0 win which is good enough.

Both of these matches double elixir.

And in the last match I played a 2v2 with double elixir.

And those are the decks we played there.

Those are all the cards we got here for battle day and so I decided to go with this deck

here.

My clan war battle.

We both play very careful at the start.

Trying not to rush.

So actually my strategy here was doing a counter push and do not push early but defend instead.

That was my strategy.

I also planned to play Hog-Rider with Valkyrie and kind of have the Valkyrie defend the Hog

from every kind of splash units because I was not sure what kind of cards that he selected.

And he plays very strong with a Pekka.

I was a little bit worried when I saw that Pekka over there because I don't really have

a good counter for the Pekka.

I only played that bomber and played the poison on the Pekka.

And the Valkyrie.

At least I have the baby dragon that is not affected by the Pekka.

And I decide to distract him with the Knight.

And that works actually really well.

I'm playing a Valkyrie right now.

Pulling the Pekka and killing the Bomber.

And this is my time here to play the Hog Rider behind the Valkyrie as planned.

Playing the Hog Rider.

Valkyrie goes down but the Wizard went down earlier.

So my hog is at the tower.

And he kind of desperately here doesn't play anymore.

I don't know maybe it was a disconnect or he worried at this very moment.

So I took that first tower.

There is no defense action anymore.

at this point here.

And so I decide to push other lane.

Starting careful again with a Bomber in the left lane.

Kind of pretending to push left.

And as you can see in the replay here he's not playing anymore.

He selected the Valkyrie.

He's not playing it.

He's just leaking Elixir.

I start a push in the right lane with my Ghost and the Baby Dragon and the Battle Ram.

And so at this moment here I kind of realize that he is not playing anymore.

He already gave up.

So this very first clan war very successful for me.

All my battles won which is a good thing.

And let me know guys what you think about Clan Wars.

Do you like it or not?

Put it in the comments.

I'm very curious to hear your opinion on Clan Wars and your experiences so far.

Good luck in your Clan Wars and see you in the next video.

'I didn't come here to cross illegally. I came here for help' - Duration: 3:36.

JUDY WOODRUFF: But first: Over the past few days, more than 300 Central Americans have

arrived in Tijuana, Mexico.

On Sunday, they plan to ask for asylum at the San Ysidro, California, port of entry.

As Jean Guerrero of PBS station KPBS in San Diego reports, the Justice Department has

directed U.S. attorneys to -- quote -- "take immediate action" to send judges and prosecutors

to the border to adjudicate cases quickly.

JEAN GUERRERO: Jeimy Pastora Castro cradles her baby outside the San Ysidro port of entry

in Tijuana.

She's among hundreds of Central Americans who plan to ask for asylum, part of a caravan

the Trump administration has accused of planning to enter the U.S. illegally.

JEIMY PASTORA CASTRO, Asylum Seeker (through translator): I didn't come here to cross illegally.

I came here for help, for the president to have a heart, since he's a human like us and

was also created by God.

JEAN GUERRERO: Castro and most of the other migrants come from Honduras, where a divisive

presidential election last fall has led to killings in the streets.

JEIMY PASTORA CASTRO (through translator): I have heard they don't give asylum anymore,

that the U.S. isn't helping anyone, that they're going to deport me and take my daughter away.

JEAN GUERRERO: The caravans are organized by a human rights collective called Pueblo

Sin Fronteras, and have occurred for more than a decade, to raise awareness about violence

in Central America.

But this year's attracted more attention due to the Trump administration's new policies.

President Trump said in a tweet Monday that he had instructed Homeland Security to turn

the caravan away.

And, yesterday, the department's secretary, Kirstjen Nielsen, said officials would enforce

immigration laws.

®MD+IT¯®MD-IT¯KIRSTJEN NIELSEN, U.S. Secretary of Homeland Security: If you illegally enter

our country, you will be referred for prosecution.

If you file a false asylum claim, you will be referred for prosecution.

If you aid and abet or coach someone to break our laws, you also will be referred for prosecution.

JEAN GUERRERO: Immigration lawyers are planning to offer legal advice to the migrants before

their planned crossing on Sunday.

Attorney Nicole Ramos says the government can't refuse them entry, because U.S. and

international law require that asylum-seekers get a fair hearing.

NICOLE RAMOS, Attorney: I think it's just a way for him to rile up Americans who fear

brown immigrants invading their borders, to create this image that a caravan of Central

Americans are coming to descend upon America.

JEAN GUERRERO: Buses of Central Americans have been trickling into Tijuana all week,

mostly families with children.

Most stay at migrant shelters like (INAUDIBLE) where coordinators take down names, ages and

home countries.

After weeks of traveling tough Mexico, many are hungry.

This young boy was given a plate to eat.

Reina Isabel Rodriguez came with her 7-year-old grandson, whom she says she adopted after

a gang in El Salvador kidnapped his mother.

REINA ISABEL RODRIGUEZ, Asylum Seeker (through translator): If we arrived here, it's because

God permitted it.

He gave me courage, strength to disappear from my country.

JEAN GUERRERO: Mario Llerena is a 26-year-old member of the caravan who says he's fleeing

violence.

He declined to say what part of Central America he's from, for fear of the gangs there.

Llerena says he's not interested in sneaking across.

MARIO LLERENA, Asylum Seeker (through translator): A thief doesn't announce he's coming.

We have announced we're coming.

Trump knows.

Or has he not been notified?

JEAN GUERRERO: He and others who are waiting to cross on Sunday say they have the legal

right to ask for asylum.

For the "PBS NewsHour," I'm Jean Guerrero in Tijuana.

that's what we would do first, because who likes glass shards, right?

And if you don't fancy, you know, maybe a plastic bag will do just fine temporary fix,

you know, these things can be dangerous.

So secondly we want to back up your iPhone, right?

So even if your iPhone is working, okay right now you probably want to back it up right

Yeah, you probably wanna get your screen repair.

You know, if you can't use your iPhone screen then it's useless pretty, yeah.

Totally totally major is important.

So we're coming get our iPhones.

If your iPhone is under warranty and you have AppleCare+, I recommend going to Apple because

Apple is the best option.

However, Apple can be very expensive if you don't have AppleCare+ so there are other alternatives.

We highly recommend Puls, an on-demand repair service.

I'll send a tech to you fixtures phone on the spot then get there in as little as sixty

minutes.

No, I mean when you crack your iPhone screen, yes broken.

Royal baby name: Here are some SURPRISING facts you did NOT know about Prince Louis - Duration: 5:30.

Royal baby name: Here are some SURPRISING facts you did NOT know about Prince Louis

THE ROYAL baby's name has been revealed as Prince Louis Arthur Charles by the Duchess of Cambridge and Prince William and it is a name steeped in history and royal heritage.

Kensington Palace announced the news of the name, saying: The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are delighted to announce that they have named their son Louis Arthur Charles.

The baby will be known as His Royal Highness Prince Louis of Cambridge.

The names honour both the princes grandfather, Prince Charles, and Louis Mountbatten, the Duke of Edinburghs uncle, who was killed by an IRA bomb in 1979.

But here are a few top facts you didn't know about Prince Louis's name:.

Louis is a decidedly French name for a member of the British royal family.

France was very keen on the name Louis during the days of the French monarchy and had a total of 18 monarchs with the name.

For 186 years between 1610 and 1798, every French king was called Louis.

There was nearly a French Louis XIX.

In 1830 France's 19th King Louis ruled for all of 20 minutes before abdicating.

Hi father Charles X had abdicated that very same day during the Second French Revolution.

Louis is not a very popular boy's name in the UK.

The name is currently hovering between the 70th and 80th most popular boy's name in the UK.

The Duke and Duchess's older son Prince George has a much more popular name, which remains in the top 10.

Louis was a surprise name choice for the new royal.

Pundits had made Albert and Arthur firm favourites, especially after Kensington Palace appeared to have created a webpage dedicated to a 'Prince Albert'.

Critics have accused the Royal couple of choosing a 'Remainer' name, claiming it is too European.

Prince George also shares the name Louis.

Prince George was given the full name George Alexander Louis and is third in line to the throne.

The French name Louis derives from the words for warrior and fame.

It comes from the original form Hlōdowik.

The name became Louis and Lewis in English, while becoming Ludwig in German.

England temporarily had a King Louis.

French king Louis VIII came to England in 1216 and claimed the title of King of England from 1216 to 1217.

The Barons of England preferred him as the monarch as they despised King John.

King John's nine-year-old son, King Henry III, was made king upon the death of his father.
