attention most of the people just leave in just five minutes or so and it's

really hurting the growth so guys if you want just want to leave then please

don't come to the video cause I was doing like just fake views when you're

not getting any first time but if you want to watch the content then you were

absolutely welcome and I want to tell that I'm literally dying of heat because

for better was quality I had to switch off the fans and set alone so here's why

he has been dropped his friend has dropped him and he's alone let's play

with him so I was saying that I'm literally sweating a lot right now

because I had to turn off the fans just for the sake of making this video but I

had to do this so let's see which other is this it's for Harley let's see what

we have got it a few there's an item over there it's a super portion okay

Nidoran

is too far I can't help it I'll have to use that press let's see

what you can do I think I should switch it with Pikachu let's see what your

choice quaterly would have to die

nothing special here - oh my god I press squatters dying at least you

will have to be stay have to strain your life and it's all you guys and don't

know what to speak cause it's I'm sweating a lot and it's really confusing

sorry squirt others fainted let's see well there's something going on down

there let's see I think yes yes away the walls you rock here yes I want to use

the client click so yes this is how you can get here so it looks like they're

doing some digging things investigating this and four selves hi there we are

doing an archeological investigation for the morale museum a local fisherman

looks something that appeared to be a small part of a dome for fossil that is

a conserved piece of stone that contains a fossilized Kabuto when we heard about

their discovery we directly organized an expedition to investigate the area I

don't fuck around when one fossil is found there's a chance for more fossils

you want to help that's great in that case you will need this we have bought

the pics a pickaxe with that pickaxe you will be able to smash small rocks there

are a lot of those rocks available in the cave behind us why don't you try it

out in there okay who knows you might find a fossil

awesome ok so let's see what this has to say vacate the cave is currently under

investigation ok I hope I see something good here

here's another I was just and we have to fight him to get bone you're gonna die

no oh not yet okay the second year so yes we have

defeated and I didn't want to encounter it stupid so bad but I have to cause you

know there only some things that are in tonight in the universe and one of them

is the number of flu vaccine at Yale so here's another ecologist note this was

some nasty sauce last time the Cuban took two hits to die no it fainted in

just one see what's here zubats yes guys zooming this a rock that looks like it

could be dropping yes but we got nothing let's see more geodude's super hurts

again you know here are a lot of rocks here let's see which one has the old no

depth some more even left it also doesn't have anything we have obtained

TM nothing here - I think it might be in this one yes we have hit something that

appears to be a fossil we've got the dome fossil guys so now we have got a

loan for so let's see what was on the left side we're at ecologist was

pointing us he said to us there are two ways yes we should run another's bad you

guys are just infinite now then that we have got a fossil there

would be nothing in those rocks so it would just be a time waste to grow break

them so here's an item is a Kaveri but I don't want is sorry it was like I mean

she said to warn me I tell her only so bad though that wasn't funny

okay okay I'll stop that's good let's stop in going off-topic and get into the

video game so let's run from the zoo Birds

oh my god so many zoo better another one

finally they've got out let's see what she had nice joy has to say you found a

fossil that's great can you bring it to lose even more oh they have better

equipment to examine it can we have it what you can't take it on your own and

by mistake if I drop it somewhere or leave it I'll just take it so I think so

guys this is going to that this is going to end of this part and I hope you

enjoyed it and next part will be coming soon also as tomorrow is Sunday so I

think I'll make it and if I don't you can watch my previous videos and yes I

Must-win game for the Reds in top-four race – Liverpool vs. Stoke City Preview - Duration: 7:59.

Must-win game for the Reds in top-four race – Liverpool vs. Stoke City Preview

Liverpool welcome Stoke City to Anfield on Saturday lunchtime, looking for a big win in their quest to finish in the top four.

After another breathless midweek of Champions League action, focus is required this weekend.

The Reds were magical in their 5-2 win over Roma in the semi-final first leg, but any momentum that was lost by the Giallorossis two late goals must not affect them.

Stoke head to Merseyside on the verge of relegation to the Championship, but they will put up a fight and test what could be a weakened Liverpool sides resolve.

All of a sudden, things have become slightly nervy in the top-four battle, with Chelsea finding form and narrowing the gap to eight points with a game in hand.

Jurgen Klopps team cannot afford many slip-ups in their remaining three league games, and victory against Stoke is paramount, in what is their easiest remaining fixture.

The 2-2 draw at West Brom last weekend was deeply frustrating, but it is time for Liverpool to put any lingering doubts about playing Champions League football next season to bed.

Klopp has big decisions to make with his personnel, ahead of next Wednesdays second leg in Rome, but as cliched as it may be, the manager needs to take it one match at a time.

Dropped points against the Potters could spell trouble ahead of a trip to Chelsea next weekend – do a ruthlessly efficient job please, Reds.

Last Meeting: Stoke 0-3 Liverpool.

Team News.

One of the biggest negatives against Roma was the knee injury suffered by Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, whose season looks over.

It leaves Klopp with just three fit senior midfielders – Jordan Henderson, James Milner and Gini Wijnaldum – so he has to use them very carefully.

Joel Matip, Emre Can and Adam Lallana are all still out, and whether any of them feature again in 2017/18 remains to be seen.

Sadio Mane is likely to be absent on Saturday with a thigh problem, although Klopp hasnt confirmed it.

The 26-year-old should be fit for Wednesday.

Nathaniel Clyne is an option start on Saturday, with Trent Alexander-Arnold a potential choice in central midfield, having played there before.

Ragnar Klavan and Alberto Moreno are available at centre-back and left-back respectively, should Klopp want to wrap Virgil van Dijk and Andrew Robertson in cotton wool.

How many of the first-choice midfielders start remains to be seen, but Ben Woodburn and Curtis Jones are candidates to come in and prove their worth.

Lee Grant is Stokes only absentee, which means Paul Lambert may go with the same starting lineup that drew 1-1 at home to Burnley last Saturday.

Ibrahim Afellay has been told to stay away from the club, having fallen out with his manager.

Last 5 at home to Stoke City (All Competitions).

Won 4-1 – December 2016 – Lallana, Firmino, OG, Sturridge.

Won 4-1 – April 2016 – Moreno, Sturridge, Origi x2.

Lost 1-0 (won 6-5 on pens) – January 2016 (League Cup semi final, 2nd leg).

Won 1-0 – November 2014 – Johnson.

Won 1-0 – August 2013 – Sturridge.

Did You Know?.

If Salah scores this weekend, he will move one clear of Luis Suarez, Cristiano Ronaldo and Alan Shearer (31) to become the Premier Leagues highest ever goalscorer in a single 38-game season.

He would also edge closer to Ian Rushs tally of 47 goals in 1983/84 – the most scored in a campaign by a Liverpool player – having notched an unfathomable 43 to date.

Klopps View.

Speaking at Melwood on Friday morning, Klopp emphasised the importance of Saturdays game, and said his starting lineup will be as strong as possible:.

I prefer to wait until the last second, until I have to make the decisions, Klopp said.

We have a few little things from the (Roma) game.

My idea for the lineup is to win the game.

It's not about resting players.

We play Tuesday, Saturday and Wednesday, which is OK from a recovery point of view.

So we could play the same team, if players are available.

It will not be a thousand changes, because we don't have that opportunity.

And it's an important Premier League game.

We are desperate for points, like Stoke are.

From my point of view, this is the game of the season..

TV & Live Blog Info.

The match kicks off at 12:30pm (BST) on Saturday, allowing Klopp and his players the maximum possible time to prepare for Wednesdays second leg in Roma.

Television coverage gets underway on Sky Sports Main Event at 11:30am.

Chris Williams is running our matchday live blog from 11:45am, with lots of interesting content before the game, and minute-by-minute updates during it.

Soul Calibur 2 is a Vulgar Game | Original Dante - Duration: 5:17.

Wait wait wait wait wait...Hold the f*ck up. Did he just say that?

Oh, hell no.

Hello ladies and gentlemen, this is Dante and we're about to take a nice trip down memory lane.

Honestly, if this game wasn't part of your childhood, you didn't have one. Whoa whoa whoa what the heck is going on here?

Oh, the player two controller was upside down.

But first, let's talk about the music.

You know a game is about to be lit when this is the fighter selection music.

It perfectly captures the moments when you got stuck in the after-school program, and instead of actually

watching the kids, the supervisors just carted out some GameCubes,

and you realize that this was your moment to shine! You were about to stop anyone who challenged you. Many challengers approached,

but only one would stand tall and remain victorious. That challenger... is you.

Alright, let's get back to the game,

I need me some Link. Could use a little Voldo,

too. And what team is complete without an Assassin? Alright, then who's gonna be the dumbass the challenges me.

Link, my boy, you're the Hero of Time. You can do anything. Aw, this dude is talking mad smack. Let's show what we made of.

Okay. Wow.

Assassin, you're our only hope.

HA! Wait, what?! WHAT?! Where is his health? I should have won that. This game is cheese.

It straight up cheesed me harder than I've ever been in my entire life. Now

I got a game over for something so stupid. Man,

f*ck this game. It's so bullcrap, and that's exactly why I'm about to try again.

Get this girl out of here. Slice and dice, and now baseball bat her.

Oh, the assassin. Oh no, wow, whatever will I do? SEE YA.

Wait wait wait lizard man?

Oh, so you're gonna get powerful, huh?

Ring around the lizard man. Here you go, buh bye!

Okay, Sophitia, you need to stop with the kicks. OH NO YOU DON'T! You, too, shall suffer the same fate as your squad!

OOH! Oh, back again?! Oh snap, he's strong. You're no match for the hero of time, though.

All we gotta do is hit him with a little romper swag.

Ooh, swag on him.

Wait wait wait wait wait, hold the f*ck up. Did he just say that?

Oh, hell no.

Yo, this dude is mad for no reason. He's flailing all over the place like a raging water buffalo.

Yo leave me alone. Can I please get up?! IS THIS FOR REAL?! Oh my god, and he threw me off, too?!

This dude seriously needs some love in his life.

He is thirsty as crap.

But luckily for him, the next one in our lineup is ol' thicc boi. Ol' thicc boi is moonwalkin' on ya, son.

Somebody call the ratings people.

Alright. Yo, Link calm dow-- YO LINK IS ABOUT TO CATCH A CASE!

I don't know what that was, but you are dismissed.

See you later. Yo hold up. It's ya boy! Ya boi is fighting ya boi!

This is crazy!

And he's whipping up the bombs and stuff! Yo, we got to get link with the romper special. OK, it wasn't far enough, so let's baseball ba--

Wait a second, did he just swing me? And now he's hitting ME off?!

OK, well he's never faced the power of thicc boi!

So let's teach him a lesson! A lil' swag walk should do the trick.

Yo stop with the old man noises, bruh! This is serious!

Oh my goodness. I'm... I'm done. I'm done. I'm done. Now. It's time for Assassin. You really don't want to fight this guy, bruh.

He's mean.

Oh you've got to be kidding me. Alright screw this, we winin' this time.

BASEBALL BAT. BASEBALL BAT.

Ooh, this is the moment we've been waiting for. This Link thinks he's hot stuff, now watch as we--

This is not real.

YO WHAT THE-- thicc boi doesn't do piggyback.

Oh my goodness. This is it. I gotta end him.

Oh, no wait how am I still alive!? Oh my God! Yo, what's up get out of here. Oh you ain't nothin!

Dude looks like a L'Oreal commercial.

Let's get this dude off the edge, wait, HOW DID I JUST LIVE!?

Oh my goodness. Now, we're gonna send this guy on a swim!

*Monster noises*

I don't know what you just said, but I just got angry.

What is this guy doing, so let's just give him a little romper twist and bye-bye Mr. Guy.

Wait, did I just beat the game, is it over?

Oh muh God, THICC BOI IS ON FIRE!

There can only be one thicc boi in this world, and I shall reign supreme.

There can only be one king, now bow before him.

That's right, get the kid!

So now he's dead, and he turned into a sword, and I shall name it the Bane of Thicc Boi.

HOHOHO, a new high score! I know just what to name it!

Look at these scrubs.

It's a bunch of noobs. Now bow before the mighty power of THICCBOI.

Game of Thrones Season 8 - IS THE NAME OF THE DIREWOLF A SIGN OF HIS/HER STARK'S FATE? - Duration: 10:28.

In this video, I will discuss the names of all the direwolves, how their names might

be connected to their stark's fates and what it would mean for Bran, Sansa, Jon and

Arya in season 8.

So stay tuned for that...

Hello Everyone.

Welcome to UBM.

Your one stop for book and TV series reviews.

I am back with another crazy theory of mine.

Last year, I discussed why and how the Direwolf mother managed to cross the wall.

You can also checkout my other crazy theories like "Why Stark Blood is especial", "Who

put the curse on Harrenhal and why", "Why there are no female Whitewalkers" etc. in

my "Game of Thrones Theories Playlist."

You can check out the link on the top right corner of this video.

Since Westworld is airing these days, I have decided to focus on that for the next few

weeks.

Once Westworld is finished, I'll get back to posting more GOT videos.

Don't worry, I'll try to post GOT videos whenever I can during this time.

I'll just focus more on westworld for some time.

Thank you so much for your contributions.

Do you believe in names?

Do you think they have a meaning or they can affect your life somehow?

Or at the very least in this case, have you ever wondered if the names of the Direwolves

are a sign of their respective Stark's fates?

Even the Direwolf mother's death foretold the future of the Stark parents.

The direwolf died because of a Stag, just like Ned Stark died because Robert took Ned

with him to King's Landing.

I got this idea from LL's comment, who said, "I've always worried about the symbolism

of Lady dying, especially as Sansa's lie contributed to it.

I now think it means, she will be limited to being a lady."

In the beginning of this series, Robb and Jon had found a dead direwolf and 6 pups.

The pups were given to the Stark Children.

The Stark children chose the names of their direwolves.

Bran was the last to pick a name.

I'll read you some lines from Bran's chapter in the books.

He was still trying to decide on a name.

Robb was calling his Grey Wind, because he ran so fast.

Sansa had named hers Lady, and Arya named hers after some old witch queen in the songs,

and little Rickon called his Shaggydog, which Bran thought was a pretty stupid name for

a direwolf.

Jon's wolf, the white one, was Ghost.

Bran wished he had thought of that first, even though his wolf wasn't white.

He had tried a hundred names in the last fortnight, but none of them sounded right.

Bran touched his forehead, between his eyes.

The place where the crow had pecked him was still burning, but there was nothing there,

no blood, no wound.

He felt weak and dizzy.

He tried to get out of bed, but nothing happened.

And then there was movement beside the bed, and something landed lightly on his legs.

He felt nothing.

A pair of yellow eyes looked into his own, shining like the sun.

The window was open and it was cold in the room, but the warmth that came off the wolf

enfolded him like a hot bath.

His pup, Bran realized . . . or was it?

He was so big now.

He reached out to pet him, his hand trembling like a leaf.

When his brother Robb burst into the room, breathless from his dash up the tower steps,

the direwolf was licking Bran's face.

Bran looked up calmly.

"His name is Summer," he said.

So, that's how summer was named.

Now let's take a look at the Names of the Direwolves and the hints they might provide

about their respective Stark's fates.

(i) Lady – Lady has Grey fur and Yellow eyes.

She was the first wolf to die in this series.

But Sansa has survived against all odds.

Even Jaime thinks in the books that by all rights, the girl should be dead.

I agree with LL's theory here.

I already predicted in my Sansa's Fate in the Finale video that Sansa will survive in

the end.

If Jon, Dany or their child lives to rule the seven kingdoms, or even if they decide

to destroy the Iron Throne in the end, Sansa will still remain a Lady.

Lady Stark of Winterfell.

(ii) Shaggy-dog-Rickon- He has Black fur and bright green eyes.

In the books, Rickon is in Skagos according to some rumors.

In "A Feast For Crows, Samwell Tarly records(recalls) having read that the Skagosi ride great shaggy

unicorns to war.

In "A Dance With Dragons," in a vision of Ghost, Jon sees a black direwolf fighting

a goat with one long horn.

There are ancient tales of Hairy Men in Essos riding unicorns to battle, and Skagosi lords

are also said to ride unicorns.

So maybe, in the books, Rickon will meet these shaggy wildlings aka hairy skagosi and will

bring them back to help westeros end the long night?

But that was in the books where Rickon was still alive.

In the show, Rickon was killed by Ramsay.

Ramsay owned a Lot of Dogs and was eventually killed by his own black dog.

(iii) Grey Wind-Robb – He has smoke grey fur and yellow eyes.

Robb named him Grey wind because he was so fast.

Robb and his direwolf were killed by Walder Frey's betrayal.

House Frey's sigil is two blue towers united by a bridge on a silver grey field.

Although another reason Robb had died was because he stopped trusting his wolf.

Cat even warned him saying "Any man Grey Wind mislikes is a man I do not want close

to you.

These wolves are more than wolves, Robb.

You must know that.

I think perhaps the gods sent them to us.

Your father's gods, the old gods of the north."

And Yet, Robb ignored her warnings, thinking he shouldn't have taken Grey wind with him

into battles.

(iv) Summer – He has silvery grey fur and yellow eyes.

Before I predict Bran's future, I'll read a couple lines from the books about Summer.

"Meera: Did you know they would be so big?

Jojen: They will be bigger still before they are grown.

The black one is full of fear and rage, but the grey is strong ... stronger than he knows

... can you feel him, sister?"

As you can see, it also points towards Bran in way.

Bran turned out to be way stronger than he ever thought possible.

He is the Three Eyed Raven now.

He is still learning and growing stronger.

As for the name Summer, I think it predicts that Bran will be a key part in ending "Winter"

aka "the Long Night," or "the Night that never ends" and will help bring summer

back.

After all, he had named Summer AFTER the three Eyed Raven had made him wake up from his coma.

(v) Nymeria – She has Grey fur and dark golden eyes.

When the Valyrian Freehold conquered the Rhoyne with their dragons, Nymeria's namesake aka

the Rhoynish Princess Nymeria had led the surviving the Rhoynar into exile from Essos.

She brought ten thousand ships across the Narrow Sea to the shores of Dorne.

She struck an alliance with House Martell and married Lord Mors Martell.

Together they conquered the rest of the Dorne.

Nymeria had fought and saved her people.

It's true that Arya had named her direwolf after this queen.

But just like Nymeria, I can also see Arya fighting for her people and leading them to

safety if things got bad during the great war.

(vi) Ghost- He has white fur and Red eyes.

Jon's direwolf's name is ghost.

In a way, Jon had died and came back from death, kind of like a ghost who doesn't

move on after death.

Maybe Jon will die again in the great war or maybe it's a sign of Jon dying and coming

back as a fire wight once more?

What do you think?

BTW, did you notice that ALL the Direwolves except Ghost and Shaggy Dog, have different

shades of Grey fur and yellow eyes?

Nymeria has golden eyes, which is more of the same.

What do you think it means?

Lemme know in the comments.

Anyways, it's time for the comment shoutout now.

Todays comment shoutout goes to Sean Killackey, who said, "When I saw the new and improved

scorpion, I thought Dany, you should have told Cersei to surrender at the first meeting

rather than ask for a truce."

I completely agree.

Jon might not have liked it, but if Dany had cornered Cersei at the Dragonpit and forced

her to bend the knee, it might have helped them focus ALL of their strength on the WWs.

Even Jon had once sacrificed his honor to save the seven kingdoms.

Or maybe this new scorpion will help kill Viserion.

So, what do you think of these theories, don't forget to tell us in the comments.

Gaming Geeks: Paul Goes into The Medieval World! "Kingdom Come: Deliverance" REVIEW - Duration: 6:52.

Hey everybody how's it going?l

I'm here to review a new game which came

out about a month ago.

I've been playing for over 80 hours and in

this time I've noticed it has a lot of bugs but of

course that's pretty normal for open-world RPG.

Any one like this tends to have a lot of bugs but over

the last month they've been really patching it,

fixing it, my frustration has decreased, and I've

really been enjoying putting some time in.

As the game begins, you're in a small town-

really beautiful area full of forest, just kinda

kicking it with your friends and family.

Out of nowhere this giant group of guys comes riding

in on their horses with weapons and you're all

scared- they come into the town, destroy and ransack

and murder everyone in your home.

You barely survive and you flee the village, short

of breath, almost dead and this

is where the game starts.

So let's talk a little bit about this new company.

They started making this game with a lot

of support from Kickstarter.

It was a very successful campaign.

Now the game is out, and like I said there's lot

of bugs in it but that's pretty normal for an

open-world RPG.

If you like other similar games, for example, Skyrim,

or Witcher 3, you will enjoy this one, but heads

up about one thing- this game is based on real life,

which means no magic...

and no monsters!

You will play this game and experience what it

looked like back in the day in 1403, and this game is

set in Czechoslovakia.

At that time there was a king that was in the middle

of a war, like I said,

1403, these were real events.

And your character is not someone from history, but

it is showing you what you would have seen during that

period of history.

It's as if you're experiencing that war

as a citizen during that time.

Also, this game doesn't have any modes which

means there's no normal, easy, hard.

It shows you 'real' mode.

You have to learn to play by yourself and

for example, combat is not easy.

And of course, this means the game is

not for everyone.

For example, in Skyrim, you can go up to anybody

and just whack 'em with your sword until they died-

I mean, that's pretty normal and it wasn't too bad.

In this game, it's almost comparable to

something like 'For Honor' which means when you

approach a character, you really have to watch how you

position your weapon, and that's controlled by holding

your stick in different directions.

NPC's are really good at combat, they can really

block any simple strikes you throw their way so you

have to be very careful with your timing, and

break their guard first- you can't just go up to them

and start whacking, because you'll wear yourself out,

and when you're tired, they'll take that

opportunity to mow you down.

Combat is really difficult- and like in other games for

example you can like take out five guys at once

by yourself- that's not a real life thing.

Also in other games, if someone's about to kill you,

you get close to death you can pause,

stop everything, drink a potion, hang on,

chug chug chug, eat an apple,

chew chew chew, your life bar fills back up,

you're back in the fight, right?

You start the fight again, your enemies are like

"Hey! How'd you get healthy?? What happened?"

So, in this game, Kingdom Come: Deliverance,

it's not possible.

You can't clown these guys, you

can't eat during a fight.

Also, you can't survive like, multiple enemies at once.

Something to keep in mind is that when people strike

you, you will be out of commission for a few seconds

because you'll be reeling from the blow.

It's really hard to control yourself in

a situation like that.

So, that's the fighting system.

Now I want to take a look at something

else that's a real challenge- communication.

You might like this game if you enjoy something like

'Mass Effect', 'Dragon Age I', or II,

or even 'Inquisition'.

So if you like those type of games, this

might be up your alley.

This will require you to have different skills and

stats in order to get through these

communication challenges.

And of course it's not just stats, but there's

also skills for example if you pick like, the basic

stats, things like speech, charisma, or strength, you

know for example you can use these in a chat and if

you wanna show you're tough and intimidate

somebody, like for example strength:

So you can see that.

And that shows how strength might factor

into a conversation.

So that's basically how the conversation

system works.

There's one more thing that really adds challenge

to the game: SURVIVAL.

I mean it's obviously what you think- food,

sleep, so forth and so on, you gotta watch your

character very carefully because your character

is like your baby!

Gotta take care of him!

So all together, this is a real

enjoyable, challenging game.

If you're curious and you want to give it a try,

I definitely recommend trying different skills- a

wide variety of skills- of course you could get

through the game with a couple of skills, but,

it's gonna be more challenging for you.

If you try to have a wider variety, and you're open

to having different sets of skills, it really

influences everything in your story.

You can really see what you can do, you can see more in

the story, you can open different quests- I mean

sometimes you might get to a point where you need a

certain skill, and if you don't have it, it'll

branch you off and you can continue of course,

but if you have a wider variety of skills, you'll

see lots more in the story and go further.

So all together, let's talk about how many

stars this game gets.

In terms of gameplay, well it was a little tough

to think about, but I gave it a 4.0 out of 5.

The reason being, it was really enjoyable, but there

were some frustrations that I put up with, and you

might have to have some patience when getting

through this game.

I mean, especially if you like this kind of game.

Environmental- SO beautiful.

Rolling hills, some places are actually built after

places in real life, like some structures that look

brand new in the game you can go online, on Reddit or

something like that and you can find pictures of what

these actual environments were, so I was very

impressed by that- they copied a lot of

real-world environments.

Then, looking at story, I really enjoyed it!

Some parts of the plot were really interesting,

and interconnected with actual parts of history.

Some things I didn't know about, I had to look them

up, and then once I did some research, I understood

it a little bit better.

I mean, it was great!

Some parts were sad, some parts were funny,

it was like a rollercoaster of emotions, I really

enjoyed it so I gave it 4.5 out of 5 stars.

So all together now, 4.3!

So thank you very much for watching me review this

game, if you have another game you want me to review,

please let me know.

Thank you!

10 Games With Completely Different Names In Other Countries - Duration: 9:13.

When it comes to releasing games in other regions, there are a lot of different things

that can change.

Some games may have changes to the box art, for example, with the publishers normally

feeling that a different marketing style may work better for that particular market.

Other games may have changes to the game itself, such as characters being redesigned or more.

However, sometimes there are even changes to games' names and this is also something

that can be seen in a wide range of other media.

The first Harry Potter book, for example, is known in its home country of England as

Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone.

This was then changed in the US, for both the book and the movie, to Harry Potter and

the Sorcerer's Stone, with the publishers thinking a US child would not want to read

a book with the word "philosopher" in the title.

There can be a wide range of different reasons for these types of changes and today we'll

be taking a look at 10 examples from video games, and trying to work out why the name

changes were made.

To kick things off with number 10, Bully, which was changed in the UK to Canis Canem

Edit, which is Latin for "dog eat dog".

Bully is Rockstar's high school-based open world title, starring 15 year old Jimmy Hopkins.

Rockstar's notoriety for creating games like the controversial Grand Theft Auto series

led to the game being a big source of outrage in the media, with politicians and it was

also a target for attorney Jack Thompson and his infamous crusade against violent video

games.

The game was labelled as, amongst other monikers, a high school "bullying simulator" and the

controversy got so bad in the UK that Rockstar decided to change the name to try and reduce

the tension.

This was also all despite the fact that, when release day came around, the game was discovered

to be nothing like it was being described as.

But moving on to number 9, Pac-Man.

Whilst nowadays known all around the world as Pac-Man, it originally went by a different

name over in Japan, where the game was created.

The Japanese arcade machines instead went by the name Puck Man but this was altered

when it came to North America over fear of people vandalising the first letter and changing

the "P" to a "F".

Later versions then decided to keep the North American name, even in Japan.

Number 8, Contra.

For many years, people in most European countries received a very different version of Konami's

Contra series that those in Japan and the US.

Most likely due to stricter rules regarding video game violence over in Germany, Europe

had new versions created that replaced the characters with robots.

All human characters were removed, including both the heroes as well as the enemies.

Going along with the game changes, the series was renamed to "Probotector", with this most

likely being seen as more futuristic and appropriate for the robot cast.

These changes would then be made to all Contra games up until 1996's Contra: Legacy of War.

Number 7, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

The United Kingdom used to have a rather peculiar set of media restrictions, which set out to

target certain "ninja" and "martial arts" content.

The government had noticed an increase in Eastern styled weaponry being used by UK gangs

and feared that the rise in popularity of these types of movies and games were the cause.

Media caught up in cross fire include Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, which had to be renamed

in the UK to Teenage Mutant "Hero" Turtles.

This saw all Turtles products, including the comics, video games and the toys, renamed

in the UK as well as some other European countries.

This lasted up until the Turtle's first feature film - which was finally allowed to be called

"Ninja Turtles" worldwide.

Number 6, Tomba!

Sticking with the European theme, the PlayStation's Tomba! series had to have changes made to

its name in Europe, due to some unseen translations issues.

When the Japanese developers settled on the name Tomba! for their side scrolling platformer

adventure, it's unlikely they realised that, over in Italy, Tomba is the word for "tomb"...

as in the tombs you find at graveyards.

This was definitely not the impression that they wanted to give in the Italian market,

with it being a cute and colourful game.

So, for all European countries, they changed the name to "Tombi", which presumably has

no big translation issues over in Europe.

This is far from the first time that something like this has happened either.

Mortal Kombat: Deception, for instance, was changed to Mortal Kombat: "Mystification"

over in France.

Why?

Because the word Deception is similar to the French word for "disappointment", which is

clearly not how they wanted people to perceive the game.

Number 5, Puzzle Bobble.

For this entry we'll be discussing 2 different video game series and highlighting an unfortunate

effect that can occur from changing the names of things.

Puzzle Bobble was a very popular puzzle game that spawned numerous sequels and ports for

various platforms.

Puzzle Bobble, however, is its Japanese name, with it being renamed in Western countries

to Bust-a-Move.

It's not known why the decision to rename the series was made but, only a few years

later, a different game would be released in Japan called, none other than, Bust a Move.

This was a completely different series and is a music-based rhythm game made by different

developers.

Due to Puzzle Bobble being renamed in the West, this forced the Bust a Move team to

rename their title overseas to "Bust a Groove" instead.

Number 4, Fahrenheit.

Fahrenheit was the 2nd title from developers Quantic Dream, who are now very well known

for their unique 'interactive movie' style of video games and titles such as Heavy Rain

and Beyond: Two Souls.

The French developers seem to have decided on the name "Fahrenheit" due to a theme within

the story involving the world's temperature continuing to drop colder and colder.

However, when the game was first released in the United States, there was some concern

that this could confuse people with Michael Moore's Fahrenheit 9/11 - a 2004 documentary

taking a look at George W. Bush and the War on Terror.

Not wanting to confuse anybody, the title was altered to Indigo Prophecy in the United

States, with this title also having ties to the game's storyline.

Interestingly, for the 2015 Remastered version, Quantic Dream decided to use both titles for

the game's name - calling it "Fahrenheit: Indigo Prophecy Remastered" worldwide.

Number 3, Resident Evil.

Capcom's bestselling video game franchise, Resident Evil, is not the title's original

name over in Japan.

Ever since the title's 1996 PlayStation debut, the franchise has instead been dubbed "Biohazard"

in its home country.

When bringing the original game over to the West, Capcom's marketing department realised

that there had already been a recent DOS game released under the name "Biohazard", not to

mention there being a rather popular New York rock band going by the same name.

The US team were tasked with finding a new name and the eventual winner would be "Resident

Evil"... with this being a pun on the first game being set in a mansion.

Comparable to Fahrenheit, the much later Resident Evil 7 decided to pay homage to both of its

titles, with it being dubbed Resident Evil 7: Biohazard in the West and Biohazard 7:

Resident Evil in Japan.

The game's producer, Masachika Kawata, explained this decision speaking to

Capcom-Unity, stating:

"We really want to have the big, impactful feeling of the series being in one place right

now, and having one future it's heading towards.

To do that, we brought the two titles together into one with Resident Evil 7 biohazard.

It's the opposite in Japan, it's BIOHAZARD 7 resident evil."

Number 2, Star Fox.

As we've already gone into now, copyright issues with already existing names can be

a big reason for things being changed.

The same is true for the classic Nintendo franchise Star Fox, which was given a new

name for the European release of the first two games.

The developers have explained that this was due to Nintendo higher ups being afraid of

a German company called "Star Vox" suing over similarities - adding that, with a thick German

accent, a F could possibly be heard as resembling the letter V.

This led to 1993's Star Fox being renamed in Europe to Starwing and 1997's Star Fox

64 being renamed to Lylat Wars.

Fortunately for the devs though, the issue seemed to eventually go away, with either

the Germany company going out of business or Nintendo's lawyers simply no longer worrying

about a possible law suit.

This saw 2002's Star Fox Adventures and all following games being released as "Star Fox"

for all regions.

Number 1, Fatal Frame.

And for our last game for today, we'll be taking a look at a series that has a different

name in Japan, Europe *and* the United States.

Fatal Frame is Koei Tecmo's popular and long running survival horror series that tasks

players with finding ghosts in various creepy locations through the use of a special camera.

The camera mechanic, which is also used for fighting the ghosts, is the reason why the

US localizers decided to rebrand it as "Fatal Frame"... with them likely feeling this would

be a more interesting name for US audiences.

Over in Japan, though, the franchise has a completely different name.

Here, the series is simply known as the kanji character for the number "Zero".

There is a deeper meaning behind it than that though.

The word for zero in Japanese can have a different meaning, depending on the Kanji used.

One of these kanji can also mean spirit or ghost and so the Japanese title, is sort of

like a pun on the word ghost.

Keeping this in mind, it's rather curious how the name was changed over in Europe.

You see, the European franchise keeps the "Zero" part of the name unlike the US.

However, the European series goes by the longer name "Project Zero" instead.

It's speculated amongst fans, that this may have been some sort of mistranslation or miscommunication,

as the development team that worked on the game are known as "Project Zero" too.

It's also interesting to point out that, over in Japan, all of the games are not numbered,

due to the creator feeling that they are standalone games, with minimal connections to previous

titles.

This was however changed when the games were released over in the US and Europe.

But, that's all we have time for today.

Let us know of any more examples that you can think of in the description below and,

if you've enjoyed this video, please consider hitting that like button and, until next time,

thank you for watching.

How Game of Thrones' Visual Effects Draw Us In - Duration: 13:16.

There's nothing on television that showcases the incredible power of visual effects

quite like Game of Thrones.

The goal of VFX in any context is to aim for realism.

[The best compliment that we can receive

in visual effects is to be invisible].

And invisibility is all the more important in Game of Thrones

because the show prides itself on feeling more grounded in reality,

more quasi-historical than your average epic fantasy story.

One of the show's superpowers is the way it blends fantasy and realism

so artfully that we kind of feel this all

could be real history.

So let's look at how Game of Thrones uses visual effects

to build a lifelike world we can believe in.

[They can live in my new world or they can die in their old one]

Before we go on, we want to tell you a little bit

about this video's sponsor, Frame.io.

Frame.io is an amazing collaboration tool for video creators

that makes it easy to give and receive feedback on cuts of your videos.

In fact, pretty much every ScreenPrism video gets made in Frame.

There's a great deal on right now if you sign up for Frame.io using our link

in the description below.

You get 3 months of their pro plan for free.

When the show began, it had the challenge of

bringing to life a world that was naturally going to be far more believable

in a reader's imagination

[Of course everyone who's a fan of the book has in their mind's eye

what Dragonstone looks like and what Pyke looks like

and what Harrenhal looks like.]

And when you think of a TV show about dragons, you probably expect it to look cheesy and

silly.

But because the VFX is so detailed and thoughtfully created,

the dragons in Game of Thrones flow believably out of the story

without making us question what we're seeing.

It can even be jarring to watch behind-the-scenes shots

of Emilia Clarke filming those dragon scenes

[It's one thing to act in a room with somebody and to draw on your considerable resources

as an actor.

It's another thing to have a situation that's supposed to incorporate

the same level of emotion but you're in the most artificial environment

you can possibly imagine.

It's the opposite of walking in costume through Iceland].

The secret to the show's believability is that it combines those over-the-top parts

with realistic elements.

[The visual effects industry has become very computer reliant

and technological.

But one of the things we like to rely on is shooting organic elements].

So that means doing things like showing real horses

but drastically changing their appearances.

[The white walker is sitting on a horse.

We had a perfectly alive, healthy horse and we put some tracking markers on the horse

so that we can add CG wounds to the horse.]

The dragons' anatomy is largely based on real flying animals,

like eagles and bats.

[We don't make up hardly anything, you know.

We always draw from the real world.

We do a lot of reference by looking at how birds of prey behave

and how certain lizards and reptiles behave.]

Sven Martin at VFX studio Pixomondo has said that the reference point changes

as the dragons grow up.

In season two the dragon babies partly took after chickens and does.

Then as they grew, the VFX team was basing them more

on dogs and wolves.

And by season seven, the reference point wasn't even an animal anymore,

but a massive Boeing 747.

Martin also said he had his animators experiment with frozen chicken wings

to get a feel for how the dragons' wings should move

and how the muscles work.

And even if the dragons aren't real, often the fire they're breathing is.

[Whenever the dragons need to breathe fire we have a flamethrower mounted on

a robotically controlled camera that blasts fire.

And how the air behaves, and the smoke that moves through the air,

all of that goes a long way to helping to sell the other parts of the

frame

that may not be captured by real photography.]

Using real-world elements as a springboard for VFX

is key for other creatures, too.

Like the shadow creature Melisandre gives birth to in season two.

[For the way it should move or the material it was made of,

we would use ink in water as a reference.

The way that ink spreads in water.]

We all know what ink looks like in water.

So even if we're not consciously thinking of that

when we watch this scene,

the visual is playing on something familiar to us.

The direwolves on the show are real wolves,

but the actors aren't actually acting alongside them.

The wight skeletons in season four were played by real stunt men.

So the VFX kept that lifelike movement But added a skeletal form.

The VFX team doesn't have to do too much with the white walkers.

But they do give them those ice blue eyes to make us think, of course, of winter.

So whenever effects create a creature we've never seen before,

they're subtly calling on associations with things we know and recognize.

And that familiar reference point makes us believe.

Much of Game of Thrones is shot on location

[If it was all VFX we would be in Studio City right now.

We're on the Mediterranean coast of Spain.

Because we need this, we need it in our skin,

we need the sun and ancient castles that the Moors built.

This is Spanish dirt underneath my fingernails.

You can't get that in the studio.]

So VFX often isn't creating places from scratch, but transforming them from impressive

into truly out-of-this-world.

If the team is working with a smaller location or a smaller set,

CG set extensions allow them to build something epic in scale

from that starting point.

[We'll call them set extensions, and the term really applies to

whether we're extending a practical built set,

or a location --

a building or a city or some part of a city,

if we're extending it into a much larger city,

or a landscape].

Loads of locations on Game of Thrones have been expanded and embellished like this

The courtyard of Winterfell is a larger version of Castle Ward

in northern Ireland.

The visuals of Pyke started from Northern Irish rock formations.

In The Watchers on the Wall, the green screen wall

was up against a forest near Belfast.

And the Fist of the First Men builds on a real setting in Iceland.

So all these examples came out of practically built sets

or existing locations with beautiful starting textures.

And the VFX team expanded and grew what was already in front of the camera.

The same holds for adding people to a scene.

VFX is used to duplicate real extras, creating huge crowds

while still maintaining the feeling that there are actual people in the scene,

because there are.

We see this in the Battle of Winterfell.

The Battle of the Bastards.

Or in the scene where the wights fall through the ice

in Beyond the Wall.

Then again, sometimes VFX is creating something

that's not there.

And they pull that off through attention to detail.

In Season 7, winter had finally come.

[Winter is here.]

But episodes were shot in many locations that weren't in the middle of winter.

So the VFX team had to do matte paintings over naturally green landscapes.

Crucially, Game of Thrones uses visual effects

more sparingly than you might think.

Most often the really awe-inspiring VFX is saved for pivotal moments,

at the end of episodes, or towards the ends of seasons.

The build-up before those moments Lets the VFX in these memorable episodes

Really pay off.

[Where the Wall meets the sea There's a castle there.]

In The Watchers on the Wall, the VFX team built the whole episode

around a green screen.

Which at the time was the biggest green screen in Europe.

[We didn't have a space that was nearly big enough

or nearly enough people to execute this episode long sequence.

We needed a green screen that was bigger than anything

that had ever been built.

30 feet high and 400 feet long.]

This was the second to last episode in season four,

so the season built up to the huge display of VFX.

And as we've seen, the penultimate episode of a season

does tend to give us a climax in both the narrative and VFX.

An episode like Watchers on the Wall feels especially believable

because the show generally avoids overusing CGI.

So we don't get in the habit of questioning what's before our eyes.

The next season in The Dance of Dragons, Drogon arrives in the fighting pit

and breathes fire on the Sons of the Harpy.

This was the moment that showcased the dragon's strength

in a way we hadn't seen before.

It was also the first time we saw Dany ride a dragon

an event that could have very easily felt off

if not done right.

So the wait for this moment, plus the over-the-top power

when the dragons' strength is finally expressed, led to an intense dramatic pay-off.

In the climactic penultimate episode of season 6,

Battle of the Bastards,

The VFX became crucial to convey the frenzy and horror of battle

[There's a shot in the Battle of the Bastards that we affectionately call the oner,

where Jon Snow is left in the middle of this battle looking like

a guy who just got dropped in the middle of the highway dodging cars.

When they actually hit each other and go flying

and impale horses, which obviously you can't do,

and so we relied on CG up close and personal in a way that I beforehand

didn't think we could pull off.]

In modern times we find it hard to envision the gritty, hands-on,

face-to-face battles of history.

So the horrifying, in-your-face visuals communicate just how intimate and personal

fighting used to be, and is in the Game of Thrones world.

In season seven episode four, The Spoils of War,

again a lot of set-up before the battle

which happens later in the episode,

[Yes, I'm sure Queen Cersei's reign will be quiet and peaceful.]

[Stranger things have happened.]

[Like what?]

gives us a phenomenal emotional effect.

It's the first time we see Drogon actually take down a well-trained army in

battle.

So we get to understand what the dragons can do

as weapons of war.

And this spectacle is combined with interpersonal drama.

We're strongly pulling for characters on both sides.

So the mass destruction of the dragons is all the more persuasive

because the narrative reminds us these aren't faceless casualties.

Real people we like could die.

In the second to last episode of season seven, Beyond the Wall,

perhaps the biggest loss of the season comes when Viserion dies and becomes a wight dragon.

Visual effects producer Steve Kullback has said that the scene was a rare moment

where the whole emotional content of the scene concentrated on VFX.

It's a shocking moment because the dragons have seemed almost infallible

up to this point,

and the mother-child relationship between Dany and her dragons

has made us invest in these creatures.

In that frightening shot when Viserion opens his eye,

the VFX tells the story with narrative efficiency.

That image of the piercing blue eye tells us how much worse the situation

has suddenly become.

Game of Thrones' visual effects have gotten much bigger and more sophisticated

since the show started.

[To give an idea, in season six, which was our biggest season up to that point,

we had 11 shots that featured Emilia riding the dragon.

In the Loot Train we have over 80.]

But even as the effects get more and more daring and elaborate,

their power comes from adhering to the same guidelines,

playing on what we know,

waiting for key moments to maximize the intensity of important scenes,

and featuring an impressive amount of detail that makes everything feel so convincing

you can almost touch it.
