Youtube daily is the new Oct 25 2018

you

hey everyone its over rogue here and first time with a tips and trick video for the

new map castle that we just got in the recent 4.4 update so I have few tips

that might help to win on this map and focusing on the beacon rush mode because

it's the most popular of all modes right so the first tip is choose the right way

to capture the center beacon in beacon rush mode winning mostly depends on who

possess the center beacon for longer your team can definitely take both the

beacons near the home but the real fight we see is for the center beacon so the

right way to get the center on this map is by capturing it from the under bridge

area because this map is sniper and mid-range dominated so definitely

everyone will try to camp and wait for someone to rush for the center so that

they can wipe him easily just like that bulgasari if you try to rush from

over the bridge the campers on the other side will definitely take you out in a

second so it's better to capture the center

from under the bridge avoiding all those snipers and to keep possession on the

beacon you can camp with your brawler here on this ramp and push the enemy

back and whenever you get the chance you can take them out

2nd know about your cover so in this map you can find a unique cover which looks

like orange shielded walls and there are four of them on the higher ground area

so these walls are just like normal physical shield they can protect you

from energy weapons and kinetic weapons like scourge Punisher and tarans but

Ember's can completely pass through it and still hit you if you are sticking

close to the walls and so does the Splash Damage weapons like orkan and

Tulumbus so you need to keep a safe distance from them if you want to use it

as a cover

third Best Sniping and camping location

well the whole map seems like to be made for long range setups but there are

certain locations which can be best for yours..for you to snipe or camp so if you

use a tempest or trebuchet setup then this location can be perfect for you you

can use this orange wall as a cover and also you can take a safe distance in

case a trident fury tries to hit you from the other side and these three

covers here can be perfect for your heighted robots like fury bulwark and

natasha with mid range weapons like Dragoon and Avenger to take cover and

fire without any interruption and as you can see here the distance between the

two covers on the other side are 500 meters so that means you can also use a

spectre Corona or maybe a bulgasari Corona and lock down the opponent robots

even before they step on the bridge and capture the center beacon 4th best

location for short range and brawler

so if you're using a short-range set up like a haechi orkan or a bulgasari orkan

or maybe if you're using a haechi scourge as a short-range set up then the

best location can be the two rock cover on each end of the bridge and also these

rock cover can be your first checkpoint on your way to the center beacon so you

can stay here clear the bridge then you can dash towards the under bridge area

and capture the center beacon and also you can stay on the ramp with your short

range set up as we saw in the first clip

using the right ability robot

if you're using a robot with rush ability or if you're using a dash robot

then the uneven ground and small obstacle on this map can spoil your

dashes so it's better to use a jump robot or even a hover to make the full

use of your ability

and at last some trivia the first one if you want to jump from the under bridge

area to the enemy side then is not possible to do with a jump robot like a

Specter or Inquisitor the roof will not let you to jump from the under bridge

area so it's not possible to do it unless you have a hover you can use the

glide ability or or say the flying ability to reach the enemy side from the

from that area and another one is that there are some high spots like this one

where only a hover can reach with its fly ability so the last these last two

are not actually tips they are only some random facts to let you know so I hope

the whole video was helpful and if you enjoyed watching don't forget to leave a

like and subscribe if you haven't already thanks a lot for watching and I

will see you in the next one

Tips for New Moms Starting a House Cleaning Business - Duration: 15:57.

How do you start a house cleaning business when you're a new mom

and you're new to house cleaning?

We're going to talk about that today.

Hi there, I'm Angela Brown and this is Ask a House Cleaner.

What kind of show is this?

Uhm, House Cleaner.

Yes.

It's a show where you get to ask a house cleaning question and then what happens?

I forgot.

I get to help you find an answer.

And today we're all going to help you find an answer.

How about that?

Yay!

We get to clean houses.

Yay! (clapping)

Awesome, Okay cool.

Hi Angela, I really, really love watching your videos on YouTube and just started expanding

to it right before the day before I had my son and I got everything started.

I got all my business licenses together and I read your book through and everything.

Now, when I had him, I got a C-section and so it's been a bid of delay trying to get up

and about to do things.

But my question is we really haven't started with the business and we plan to start November.

I want to know, what do you think are some of the tips for a new mom starting out?

Let me know, thank you so much.

Angela Brown: All right, what are some tips for new moms going back to business or getting

started in the business after you've just had a child.

All right, this is coming from a place of love and I have to be really honest with you,

to go back to work or to start a house cleaning business right after you've just had a child,

especially a caesarian, is raising the stakes of the game so high.

You're going to have to jump through so many hoops to make this work.

Now the good news is you're not the first person that has done this, there are lots

of moms that are house cleaners and housekeepers at hotels that have babies and then they come

right back to work.

Here are a couple of things to keep you going as you get started.

The very first thing that I want you to do, very first thing, very, very first thing is

I want you to block off on your calendar a date night with your husband.

You're going to say, "What does that have to do with house cleaning?"

But here's what it has to do.

As a mom, you have a new infant and so you've been spending a lot of time with the infant

and your husband who is your first priority, for however many years, is now suddenly on

the back, back, back burner.

So he feels not so needed and appreciated.

All right, having said that, now you're starting a new business and every business owner knows

that their spouse, the person they love the most in the world, that takes care of them

and believes in them when no one else does, including themselves, is now on the back,

back, back, back, back burner.

He doesn't want to be forgotten, so make a date night first and foremost for your spouse

so that the two of you can get away from your business and your child and spend some time

rekindling the flame and getting to know each other again and keep that bond close.

Because as a new business owner, you need that moral support, and number two as a new

mom, you need that moral support.

Having said that, that's going to be the ground foundation.

The next thing I want you to do is get a schedule.

You are going to need a schedule that gets you out of your house.

Now I'm unclear whether or not that you're going to do the cleaning yourself or whether

you're going to hire some cleaners.

I don't know which it is but my suggestion is get out of your house.

Right now you've been in your house for six, eight weeks, I don't know how long your maternity

leave has been and you've been running around in pajamas and maybe your hair is in a pigtail.

The routine is out of whack.

Now you're going to show up and you're going to be a professional business owner and you

have to have a routine.

Because if you follow the, "I'll just show up whenever I'm ready routine," it will never

happen.

You have to be incredibly strict about the routine part.

So what my suggestion is, is this.

Let's say that you're going to start your business back at the first of November, so

right now in October start right now with this routine.

Get your kid in daycare because I'm assuming they're not coming with you.

Kids don't come on house cleaning jobs, that's not cool, that never was cool, it never will

be cool.

You want to put your kid in daycare and you want to do that immediately, and my suggestion

is at least a week before you actually start cleaning houses.

This will get you up in the morning, it forces you to go through a couple of things that

we haven't thought of yet.

The things that we haven't thought of yet are these,

"How much does your kid eat every day?"

So you need to plan out the meals for your child.

Do they eat baby food?

Is it just formula right now?

Are you nursing?

What is the process that you're going through right now for your child?

You need to figure out how you're going to do that while you're house cleaning.

How are you going to feed your child?

Are you going to prepare the bottles the night before or are you going to use a breast pump?

What is the process you're going to use?

And then you need to get that into play right now.

How many blowouts a day does your kid have?

And you need to know that too because you need to know how many diapers and how many

outfits you need to pack to go to the daycare.

Then if we get the kid in daycare a week before you start cleaning houses, if something malfunctions

and you have to run over with an extra change of clothes or shoes or whatever, at least

you will have the understanding and the latitude to do that.

Once you start house cleaning you can't quit a customer's house and go running back to

the daycare to bring extra diapers and stuff.

So you want to get all those kinks worked out.

Now the rest of your day also needs to be routinized, and what I mean by routinized

is can you leave your child at daycare long enough that when you are done cleaning houses

you can come home and either fix dinner or work out

before you pick up your child from daycare.

You want to add in enough extra space in your day that your day is not completely consumed

by either working cleaning houses or your child.

You need a little bit of mom time in between, so in the beginning you might sign your child

up for a full day of daycare and you may only clean houses for half of that day.

My suggestion is that you also do that maybe only four days a week.

So you put your kid in daycare for five days a week

and you only clean houses for four days.

That gives you one full day without your child, and I'm not knocking your child, we love children,

but as a new mom you're going to be exhausted all of the time and so you need to heal from

that and you need to recoup.

Starting a new business you also need business time and it's very difficult if you're running

in a bunch of different directions trying to do a bunch of different things and feed

and change and all these different things with the baby.

You need a day where you can focus on your social media and your business and putting

together an employee handbook and your hiring and firing policies and all of the things

that are about to happen as your business grows and expands.

If you have customer satisfaction and you have to go back and reclean a customer's house,

you need to factor that in as well.

There may be a day let's say that you only work Monday through Thursday but on Friday

is a day for you.

That's a day where you could go back and you can do customer satisfaction guarantees if

you have to do that.

It's also a day where, don't tell anyone, but if you need a three hour nap, nobody's

interrupting you, you don't have your baby during the day and you're able that you can

just lay down and take a rest and catch up on some sleep.

There are some things that you have to do to take care of yourself.

Now if I've said it once, I've said it a million times, you have to take care of yourself first

as a business owner because as the business owner you are your company's biggest asset.

Now the same rule applies to being a mom and so like I said this is a double whammy, there's

a lot of stuff going on.

You have to exercise every day even though you don't feel like it, and you're not going

to feel like it for several months.

Your hormones are going to be out of whack and so you might just start crying for no

reason, and there's nothing wrong, you're just going to start crying and feeling like

eating chocolate.

But what you really need to do is put on a pair of walking shoes and get out and go walking

because the healthier you are you're going to be a better mom and a better house cleaner.

It's really important to the success of your business and to your child that you take incredibly

good care of yourself.

If there's one person you take care of right now it's you, and I mean this from the love

in my heart.

Yes, it sounds selfish but you cannot take care of your child, you cannot take care of

your customers, you cannot take care of your husband unless you take care of yourself first.

Like I said, this comes from a place of love but you have to commit to you, you are the

most important person right now, you.

All right, now that I've said that, there's a very small window, please don't abuse this,

there's a very small window where you can go to your customers and you can say, "Hey,

I'm your new house cleaner and I'm just coming off of maternity leave.

I've got a brand new infant child and as I start cleaning your house, there are a couple

of things I should warn you about."

And then warn them about the hormones.

Now anybody who's ever been a parent before understands the hormones, "So listen, if you

come home and I'm cleaning your house and you just see me

sobbing for no reason, I'm okay.

The hormones are just out of whack

but that is not a good time for you to nitpick my house cleaning.

Save it for a different day."

Let them know, "I'm going to be a little on edge for a couple of months," and they'll

go, "Oh, okay."

They want you to succeed, they want you to clean their house and they want to support

a new mom and so they're going to give you a little bit of leeway.

I say don't take advantage of it, but let your customers know.

If you just show up and then you're hormonal and they don't know why, they're going to

think you're loopy or they're going to think you're like crazy or something.

You need to let them know I'm a brand new mom, I got hormones that don't belong, I'm

irritable for no good reason, I'm frustrated, I'm tired as all can be, I'm just exhausted

but I'm going to do the best job you've ever had to the best of my abilities.

So they will work with you, customers will work with you.

They're humans, they understand what you're going through but you have to explain it.

Those are a couple of tips right up front, a couple more tips and then I will let you

get back to your child and your day.

The nighttime routine is as important as your morning routine.

At nighttime, before you go to bed at night there are a couple of things you can do.

You have to do inventory for your cleaning supplies.

So inventory is important, you have to make sure that all of your supplies are clean,

that they are full, that all of your wash clothes and your towels are clean for the

following day, that your mops have proper mop heads, that your vacuum is emptied.

Anything that you use for your cleaning business must be ready the night before.

Now, again, with the stack in the deck so high, your diaper bag for your child has to

be packed the night before as well.

You're going to want to do an inventory for the diaper bag.

You're going to want to pull everything out and go through everything and make sure there

are plenty of diapers, there are plenty of clothes, there are plenty of ... I don't know

what you use, salve or Vaseline, diaper rash, ointment, I don't know what you use, but you

need all that extra stuff in there.

If there's any medication, if there's a thermometer, if there are toys, if there's a little squeezy

doll, I don't know what your kid uses but whatever the kids need, you need to have it

and you need to have plenty of it so that you're not stopping the job to go back to

the daycare during the day.

The other thing that I might recommend is the meals that you have at your house.

There are easy ways to prepare meals and what I recommend is at my house I cook one day

a month and I love this routine, it's worked for me for years but because I'm always gone

and for years I've cleaned houses, this has been a system that has always worked for me.

I have nine crockpots.

I know, it sounds obsessive, it sounds like I'm hoarding them but I cook all of my meals

one day a month.

So I go to Costco and I buy all the groceries and I bring it home and I cut up all the potatoes

in this pot and all the carrots might go in three different pots, asparagus might go in

four different pots depending on the recipes but I make all of the food at once.

Then I repackage them in small freezer size containers and they go inside of the refrigerator

in the freezers so that we can prepare and pack meals on the go.

This saves so much time because as a new mom when your kid comes back from the daycare

you're going to want to spend time with your child, not spending time cooking.

You're still responsible, like I said, for your health and so having healthy meals prepared

in advance will keep you from going through the drive through and eating junk food which

will just perpetuates that not feeling good all the time.

If you have a chance at nighttime prepare your meals for the day before, pull out of

the freezer the food that you need thought out,

get ready your smoothies for the next day.

If you're nursing and you've got to prepare the bottles for the next day, prepare the

bottles for the next day for your child.

You just want to make sure that you are ready for your job and for your baby the next day.

A note on dropping the baby off, you've got to have rules and boundaries just like we

do when we go to customer's houses.

As you drop your child off at the daycare, you want to get in and get out.

Now when we go to a customer's house we have a 60-second rule.

The same rule applies when you drop your kid off at daycare, and I'm not trying to be ugly

because you're going to spend a lot of time getting to know the daycare provider.

But the daycare provider is a person too with a family, so you don't want to go in and chit

chat and spend 20 minutes to a half an hour picking up your kid.

You want to go in, pick up your kid and leave.

You're going to see them again tomorrow morning, you're going to see them again tomorrow night.

Every day for the next however many years your kid is in daycare.

You will get to know these people over time and you will become friends but keep it to

just a minute or two, don't go in and drag out your whole evening and waste a bunch of

time chit chatting and whatever.

The daycare service provider, they're trained, they're licensed, they're bonded and insured

and all these things, they've got it figured out.

Your kid is in good hands, let it be.

Drop your kid off and go and then go cry in the car.

Don't sit here and try to fuss.

All right, one more thing that I would recommend is take advantage of things like Amazon Prime.

Amazon Prime is what 115 bucks a year or something, I forget the exact price, but it allows free

shipping for products that you need.

Order all of your cleaning supplies, order your food, order your vitamins, order whatever

it is you need, the diapers, stuff for your kid, whatever you need, order it on Amazon

and have it drop shipped to you.

That will keep you from every day running to the store to buy new cleaning supplies

and things that you've run out of and whatever.

It's great to get out of the house but when you get out of the house it needs to be on purpose.

Go to mommy and me events, go to new mom events, go to meet ups, go to things that are supportive

of you, go to entrepreneur meetings, go to BNI meetings, go to things that support your

business.

Don't fritter away all of your time doing things like wandering around the Walmart looking

for cleaning supplies.

Your time is of better use building your business and spending time with your new family.

Those would be my suggestions starting out, it is going to be tough.

Starting a new business is tough, starting a new family is tough.

Like I said, there are a bunch of people that have done it, you can do it, I believe in you.

You've got the guts to do it so you can do it.

But be easy on yourself and just say, "Hey, listen, I'm only human, there's only so much

I can do," and pace yourself so that you don't burn out."

But like I said, the most important thing you can do right now is to take care of you

so that all these other puzzle pieces can fit together.

I'm so excited that you had a baby, congratulations, and I hope that this works for you.

I want you to keep me posted because I want to hear all the details.

Alrighty, until we meet again,

leave the world a cleaner place than when you found it.

Shaky start but £44m Fabinho could just be the new Gerrard in Europe - Duration: 3:42.

They know all about the Fab Four in these parts. The Fab One, not so much.On the evidence of Wednesday night, that may soon change

Fabinho, the £43.7m summer arrival who has so far made just one start, was belatedly handed a ticket to ride for Liverpool's Champions League clash with Red Star Belgrade

It was seen as something of a coup for Jurgen Klopp when the Anfield side announced they had captured the Brazilian from Monaco

Regarded as one of the finest defensive midfielders in Europe, Manchester United were among those who liked what they saw

However, Merseyside minutes have been hard to come by.Not that there was any chance of the all-Liverpool crowd missing him, resplendent in bright salmon pink boots

In the opening exchanges, with Liverpool slow and off-pace, Fabinho appeared to be a fish out of water

Early on, he missed a loud cry of 'man-on' from the Kop, to have his pocket picked following a square pass from Georginio Wijnaldum

Presumably, his English requires some work.It got worse, and on 14 minutes a rash, mistimed tackle on El Fardou Ben Nabouhane, Red Star's Comorian striker, may well have produced a yellow card

There were murmurs of discontent but there was also promise.Just five minutes later, Fabinho intelligently teed up Mo Salah for the kind of chance the Egyptian would have scored last season

The Brazilian's brainpower was also on display as he often dropped deep to a central defensive position to kick start attacks and keep the rhythm of Liverpool's play flowing

There were still wobbles, including an impression of a statue when Red Star's Marko Gobeljic waltzed by

But there were also thunderous, ball-winning challenges, appreciated by a curious Kop

In his preview to the match against a side that appears to be destined to become the whipping boys of Group C, Klopp had asked for patience, pointing out that Monaco's sedate system is a world away from Liverpool's organised chaos

He had also spoken of Fabinho's array of talents. All of a sudden they were on display

One minute he was breaking up play, the next spearheading incisive attacks at the other end with one ball in particular for Trent Alexander-Arnold a beauty

This was something new.A ball-playing yet shielding presence in front of the back four

Something perhaps not seen since, whisper it quietly, a certain Steven Gerrard. They are big boots to fill and this is very, very early

Despite Klopp's claims otherwise, the opposition was simply not very good. The signs from the number three, however were just that

Fabinho turned 25 on Tuesday and Klopp described a place in the starting line-up as a nice present

There were to-be-expected rusty moments, included a second-half shot blasted wide, but he returned the favour on a night which finally hinted at what might be to come

Apple's cheap phone is actually better for most of us | The New Daily - Duration: 10:22.

Good news, Apple loyalists: You won't have to burn $US1000 on your next iPhone. That's because for about $US750, you can have the iPhone XR, which is just as fast and nearly as capable as its more expensive counterparts

The cheaper iPhone, which becomes available on Friday, is the model that most people should buy

This year's other iPhones – namely the XS and XS Max devices, which cost about $US1000 and $US1100 and are already in stores – are luxury devices better suited for enthusiasts willing to spend a premium for superior cameras or a jumbo screen

For everyone else, the XR is perfectly adequate and has few downsides. Its 6.1-inch screen, which is based on LCD, an older display technology, looks ever so slightly inferior to the OLED screens on the XS phones –  but you would need to be a movie buff to notice the difference

The XR's single-lens camera is also less capable than the dual-lens cameras on the XS models

Yet the XR can still produce very satisfying photos of people using portrait mode, also known as the bokeh effect, which puts the picture's main subject in sharp focus while gently blurring the background

The XR is slightly less durable than its more expensive cousins. Its glass back is not as tough as the one on the XS

Its casing, or chassis, is composed of aluminium instead of the more robust stainless steel on the costlier phones

Yet these differences are negligible. (I recommend that people use a case to protect those parts of the phone anyway; carrying a phone without a case is a bit like driving a car without bumpers

)All of these minor negatives add up to a win for price-conscious consumers, especially as smartphone prices keep climbing – iPhones a few years ago started at about $650, while prices for Android phones from Google and Samsung have also shot up to between $700 and $1000

After testing an XR for four days, these are the highlights.A bright and vibrant displayApple developed a new kind of LCD to improve colour accuracy and squeeze the XR's screen into the corners of the phone

The result is what Apple calls a Liquid Retina display, which looks better – brighter and more vibrant – than past iPhone LCD screens

I confess that I struggled to see a difference between the Liquid Retina screen and the OLED on an iPhone XS

The distinction is most evident in blacks: If you look at a photo taken in the dark, you will notice that the blacks on the XR's screen have a faint blue glow, which is coming from the backlight used to illuminate the screen, while the blacks on the XS look darker and more realistic because the OLED technology turns off individual pixels to make them black

While browsing Instagram on the XR and the XS, I came across a few photos that clearly looked better on the XS' OLED screen

One example was a professional photo for a article about the death of Holmes Niscué, an indigenous leader in Colombia

In this photo, which shows people carrying a coffin, the reds looked more accurate on the XS than on the XR, and the shadow details of the coffin looked more pronounced on the XS screen

These downsides were trivial. The vast majority of your time on a phone will probably be spent looking at amateur photos taken by friends and family anyway, so it's worth saving $250 to have this slightly less vibrant screen

Single-lens cameraIf you are debating between an XS and XR, your buying decision will probably come down to the camera

The XR's single-lens camera takes excellent, clear photos with life-like colours, but because it lacks a second lens, it is less capable at taking those DSLR-like portrait mode shots, which are a lot of fun

To do portrait mode with the XR's single lens, Apple used machine learning, which involves computers analysing images to recognise people in the photo and properly sharpen them while blurring the background

Apple decided to limit its machine-assisted image processing on the device specifically to human subjects

In contrast, the second lens on the XS camera helped the device do portrait shots of a wider variety of subjects, like dogs and objects

In addition to the help of machine learning, the two lenses worked together to create a depth-of-field effect that kept the main subject in sharp focus while blurring the background

When you attempt to take a portrait photo of a nonhuman, the XR camera will display the message "No person detected"

This was the biggest downer to me as a dog owner and foodie (and what ultimately drove me to buy an XS)

In contrast, Google's $800 Pixel 3 also has a single lens and, with the help of machine learning, did a fantastic job in my tests producing portrait mode photos featuring dogs, food and people

Battery, speed, thickness and coloursLet's speed through what else you need to know about the XR:Apple said the XR had the longest battery life among the new iPhones

It gets 16 hours of video playback, compared with 15 hours on the XS Max. In my tests, I didn't notice a meaningful difference

Both iPhones had long enough battery life to get me through the day.In speed tests measuring a single computing core with a benchmarking app, the XR was just as fast as the XS, 49 per cent faster than Google's Pixel 3 and 45 per cent faster than Samsung's Galaxy S9

The body of the XR is about half a millimetre thicker than the XS partly because the cheaper phone had to make room for the backlighting used to illuminate its LCD screen

In addition, the XR's 6.1-inch screen is a bit bigger than the XS with a 5.8-inch screen

As a result, it felt bulkier in the pocket than the XS. (Of course, the XS Max with a 6

5-inch screen felt the bulkiest.)The XR lacks 3D Touch, the iPhone feature that lets users control some of the software by exerting pressure on the touch screen

Instead, placing your finger over a button, like the camera shortcut on the lock screen, and holding it down results in haptic feedback

This is a negligible omission: I forgot that 3D Touch even existed because I rarely use it

The XR comes in six colours: white, black, blue, yellow, coral and red. The XS phones come in three: gold, white and black

As is often the case for new gadgets, good things come to those who wait. If you resisted splurging on the XS to wait for the XR, you will be rewarded with a great phone – and some extra cash lying around

McGowan stares down threat of Nationals challenge | The New Daily - Duration: 4:14.

Cathy McGowan has three words for the major parties trying to win her seat back: "Bring it on

" The independent MP for Indi is also threatening to withdraw support for the coalition government if the Nationals bring Barnaby Joyce back as leader

Nationals deputy leader Bridget McKenzie is moving her Senate electorate office nearly 300 kilometres to Wodonga in Victoria's north-east, in preparation for a potential run at Ms McGowan's seat

"I hope Bridget makes her announcement pretty soon that she's running," Ms McGowan said in Canberra on Thursday

"I would look forward to her as a candidate. "We'll have National party, we'll have Liberal party, we'll have independents

" Mr Joyce criticised Ms McGowan through her local newspaper for her threats about withdrawing confidence

"Cathy, my door is always open if you wish to discuss anything with me that could be of such weight that you would make a public statement like you did," Mr Joyce told

"Alternatively, please desist with the gushy charade that is part of the disingenuous patter that you partake in every other time we meet

" Ms McGowan said she probably was "gushy", but there was a lot of anger in her country electorate about how the Liberals dumped Malcolm Turnbull

Regional and rural Australians would "not be happy" with a change of leadership in the Nationals, she said

Nationals frontbencher Michelle Landry again hosed down speculation a challenge to Deputy Prime Minister Michael McCormack is imminent

"Politics is a tough business, Michael's our leader now and he has the support of our party room," Ms Landry said

Last week she conceded Mr Joyce was likely to become leader again at some stage. To contest the Nationals leadership, Senator McKenzie needs to be in the lower house

Her Senate term does not expire until mid-2022. Ms McGowan would not say if she would contest the next election

"I'm working on a succession plan, so whether it's this term or next term we haven't quite got to that space," she said

"But, at some stage, I'll stop being the member for Indi." -AAP

UltraFICO: Is the New Credit Score Good or Bad for Consumers? - Duration: 4:08.

Jason Moser: Let's take a look at UltraFICO, which we mentioned at the beginning of the show.

Over the weekend, speaking of American Express, one of the things I get with American Express is,

every quarter, they send me my free credit report.

I get this, and I can look through and dispute any problems or anything. It gives me my FICO score.

And it always makes me feel good, because I take good care of my credit score.

My FICO score is still good.

So, I'm going to sleep at night, I'm feeling nice and safe and comfy in my home,

knowing that the bank is going to keep lending me that money because I've got a good FICO score.

Then, I wake up and read about this UltraFICO score. And now, I'm getting a little bit concerned.

This sort of piggybacks on the conversation we had last week in regard to the return of

zero-down subprime mortgages.

Essentially, Fair, Isaac, the company that created and uses the FICO credit score,

is going to roll out this new scoring system in early 2019 that essentially factors in

how consumers manage the cash in their checking, savings, and money market accounts.

It's basically another way for them to measure an individual's particular credit risk.

The whole idea behind this, it's not to make sure that they are lending to the best possible borrowers.

What they're trying to do is expand the pool of borrowers and give more credit to more people,

to grow that opportunity to lend to more people.

I can't help but feel like maybe, between last week's story on the subprime mortgages

and this week's UltraFICO score, I'm a little bit skeptical at first glance that this is a good idea.

You said that you're going to be speaking with these good people out there this week.

Tell me a little bit about what you think about this UltraFICO score.

Matt Frankel: It makes sense to a certain degree.

When you go to open a checking account, they run a credit check on you.

It's a product that you need good credit to get.

You need to use your checking account responsibly to keep it open.

So, it is somewhat a predictor of responsible financial behavior.

But, at the same time, this is being used as a backup FICO score.

Here's the idea -- if you go to apply for, let's say, a mortgage, they run your FICO

score and say, "Oh, your score is too low. You don't qualify for a mortgage."

You can say to this lender, if they give you the option, "Now check my UltraFICO score,"

which would take into account if you've had a checking account open for a long time with

no overdrafts, no defaults.

It would take that into account and potentially raise your score and allow you to qualify

for a lending product that you otherwise wouldn't.

So, it makes sense to a degree. But like you said, I'm skeptical.

There's a reason that people with low FICO scores don't qualify for loans, it's because

they generally don't have a very strong history of financial responsibility for one reason or another.

I'm approaching this with caution. I'm meeting with FICO's CEO, as you said, tomorrow morning.

I definitely have a list of questions written down for him.

I'm curious to hear what they say about it in more detail and the rationale behind it,

which I will definitely be glad to share with our listeners next week, whatever I take out of that meeting.

For the time being, I'm approaching this with caution. I like the FICO score system the way it is, simply put.

I think it does a very good job of predicting consumer financial behavior.

This seems more like a way to boost banks' lending pools a little bit more.

Moser: Yep. Bottom line is, I'm not going to change what I'm doing.

I think I'll dance with what I've got, because it seems to be working so far.

Shaky start but £44m Fabinho could just be the new Gerrard - Duration: 5:16.
