How to make the most out of the new Transactions feature - Duration: 7:30.

hello and welcome to the myCRM Transaction tutorial. The transactions

feature ties together the property owner and lead by showing you the relevant

dates who was involved, who made commission and even which documents were

required. Transactions saves you time as now you have a central source for all of

your data viewable and downloadable to your computer and on your smartphone. I

first need to make you aware of six essential rules that govern how

Transactions works. Anyone in admin level access can see and edit anything and

everything. Number two anybody with Manager or Agent level

access will not be allowed to see the things that do not belong to them until

permission is granted. Number three only the creator of the transaction or a

member of staff with admin access can edit it. Number four before creating a

transaction ensure that all of the relevant documents are uploaded already

into the property the owner and the lead. Number five for the early days of this

feature no transaction will be able to be deleted instead if you wish to do

this you will need to select "closed lost". Number six recorded transactions are not

shared with any third party including the property finder transaction gateway

my CRM transactions has been designed to allow any sale or rental scenario and in

this video we will demonstrate how to do it from the property, the lead or indeed

the new transaction screen itself. Before that let me share a few definitions. When

I say User I mean you the person logged in operating myCRM. Property

means the apartment, villa, office etc. that you are selling or renting. Owner or

seller is the person or people who own the property that you are selling or

renting. Lead or tenant is the person who is buying or renting the property in

question. Now let's create a transaction from the property itself. Before if a

property is sold or rented you would change the status to just that whereas

now you notice you cannot do it. Instead you simply need to click on the new tab

called transactions next to where documents would go, click on "add

transaction" and just follow the steps. If you don't know the dates yet please put

when you'd expect these things to happen. You'll notice that the owner is already

pre-populated and as we mentioned earlier if you are an admin or if you

have permission to see the owner you will see that owners information is

there if you do not have permission to see the owner you will instead see a

button asking you to obtain permission to do so click on that button and the

user who is responsible for that owner will be sent a notification to grant you

the ability to see it. The same permission scenario arises when you link

a buyer. If it is your buyer or you are an admin then great, no permission is

required. If it is not your buyer or tenant then you seek permission through

myCRM as before when adding a price you can also add the downpayment deposit

using a percentage value or an amount. Step 3 will let you add detail the

commission payments again via percentage or amount. Upon saving you will see that

the transaction is stored now in the history of that listing it will also be

in the corresponding section within the transaction menu for future

reference. This is just the beginning, now the transaction is there you can click

on it and it will expand downwards showing you the basic tale components if

you click on the arrow it will take you through two transactions where you can

add some "meat on the bones" so to speak, however, before we do that

let's start the same procedure again but from the lead section instead. You go to

the leads menu and find the person who is buying or renting the property then

you ensure the property you wish to transact upon is shortlisted. Select that

property then click on the Add button. The only difference now is that you will

already have the details of the property the owner and the lead populated. However,

if you do not have permission to view any of these you will need first to

request permission from the person who does. Of course we could just start the

whole thing from the new transaction screen as ever to create anything new on

my CRM you need to click on the big red Add button from the transactional screen

you are starting from scratch so you'll need to head to the bottom of the page

and add the property and the tenant or buyer the owner will be also filled

based on the property that you choose if we had carried on from the property page

or the lead page would be at the same point as we are now at the top of the

screen you see the negotiated price this is how much the sellers agreed to sell

for next to it is gross price which is how much the buyer actually has to spend

including commissions and later local fees commissions is the next tab first

you tell the system who is paying Commission how much they are paying then

you tell the system who the Commission is being paid to in the Commission split

section for example 50% of the Commission is coming to me from the

seller as it is my seller and the buyer as it is my buyer if the buyer was

controlled by my colleague then it would be just as easy to add my colleague in

there instead from here you can actually add as many contributors as you want for

example your colleague introduces the buyer to you you could give them a

kickback of timber and in the notes section you can record

any important information that you would like to remember for this transaction

particularly the documents tab cleverly ties together all of the documents from

property owner and lead which ties is back into rule number four before

creating a transaction ensure that all the relevant documents are uploaded

already to the property the owner and the lead without getting too technical

when creating a new transaction it would take a snapshot of everything as it was

exactly at the point of creation if you now revisited the owner for example and

add a new document to it this document will not appear in the transaction to

reiterate rule 4 is very important you will notice that each section has each

document under it and an empty pin icon if you would like this document to be

part of this transaction simply click on the pin and the system will recognize it

officially finally when you are ready to and only when you are ready please mark

the transaction as won or lost once you do this you will no longer be able to

modify the transaction and will only be able to view it for the time being

transactions will not be able to be deleted as ever please feel free to

 Seven minutes in a market in Fiji where people had travelled widely, brought gifts and wanted to share their struggles, was quick frankly bordering on an insult

 The tour reflected the new chapter in Harry's life.  We didn't see the party prince of the past

 But we did see a tour which represented who this royal couple are now: newlyweds with a baby on the way with passions for young people, mental health, women and the environment

 And they did so while stepping out onto the world stage for the first time, together

Hey fellow MASCHINE enthusiasts,

it's Boris and I'm back again

with a swift newsflash from our headquarters

in Berlin.

This year, loads of things are

happening here at Native,

one of them being our latest version

of MASCHINE MIKRO.

It's your perfect companion to

lay down rhythms and melodies quickly,

stand-alone or in combination

with your favorite DAW.

MASCHINE MIKRO consists of this

hardware controller,

perfectly integrated with the MASCHINE software

running on your computer.

If you're working exclusively with the mouse,

it's now easier than ever to get yourself

hands-on during the most important stages

in your music production.

So what I'm gonna do next is create

a little sketch and while I'm going along

you can take a deeper look into all the

neat features of the new MASCHINE MIKRO.

First, let's speed up the tempo

just a couple of notches.

I've already set up my browser selection

here in the software.

When hitting the Browse button on MIKRO,

it shows me all results

directly on it's display.

The encoder feels very solid

and allows us to navigate precisely,

so let's use it to add another audio loop.

Whenever you work on a musical idea

and want to change things like

volume, tune, or swing,

there's no need to hunt down

those parameters forever.

Over here you have them all ready

for quick editing.

For instance, I want to match the volume of

those loops now,

so I choose Volume

and hold down the associated pad.

This makes the encoder turn

into a volume fader

and it's value can be read from the display.

I also feel the tune of the percussion

could be a little lower to match

the synth loop better.

The Swing button works the exact same way,

making it perfect to add a vibrant feel

to your rhythms, whenever you need it.

These three new helper buttons

avoid getting lost in browsing.

They let you load recent projects,

bring up your result list,

and manage your favorites

directly from the hardware.

The extra-large pads feel amazing

and provide an even response

across their whole surface.

So let's play some drums, melodies,

and much more.

Here's an example of a drum kit

from the included MASCHINE Factory Selection.

I'm gonna record a little groove now.

While holding down Note Repeat

every sound will repeat in perfect sync.

Another great tool to come up with ideas

is the built-in Step Sequencer.

Similar to a traditional analog drum machine,

you can program patterns step-by-step.

After activating Step Mode,

you can add steps by tapping any

of the 16 pads.

Every time the light passes by,

the sound is triggered.

Each step can be fine-tuned by using

the Quick Edit section,

which you've seen already.

For melodies and harmonies,

MASCHINE MIKRO gives you two additional

modes to work with.

In Keyboard Mode,

you can play any sound melodically,

- which works with both samples

and software instruments.

All brighter pads show you

where the root note is located.

You can change the note range at

any point using MIKRO's encoder.

One really exciting feature

is that you can select from a wide

collection of scales.

If you don't have any knowledge

of harmony theory,

simply dial in the scale and play the pads.

If you followed closely you might have noticed

that I just introduced MIKRO's

cross-functional Smart Strip.

Here, I used it to bend the pitch of the synth,

but there's much more to the strip.

It allows you to apply effects

very intuitively.

Just load MASCHINE's exclusive Perform FX

and tweak them right away.

All movements can be captured

when holding down the Auto button.

It's different Pad Modes and the Smart Strip

make MIKRO very fast to use.

Sampling is no different.

Set up your sound card and recording settings

here in the software,

then hit Sampling and say hello

to this little arrow pointing

down at the encoder.

Yep, it's that easy.

Each time you click the encoder,

another pattern is instantly created.

So far, I showed you the MASCHINE software

in stand-alone mode,

but all tools and functions

are also available when using it as a

plug-in in your favorite DAW.

New IPAD PRO but no IPAD MINI 5? - Duration: 4:55.

Hey friends good morning now just a very quick video today just to cover the

brilliant announcement of the brand new Apple iPad Mini 5 which Apple announced

like this this morning. Yes that's right of course that no Apple did not in fact

announce the iPad Mini 5 which a lot of us especially us pilots were really

kind of looking forward to. Now instead they announced there was a new MacBook

Air there are new updates to the Apple stores the new iPad pros and then Lana

Del Rey saying a nice song at the end. But we were left wondering well what

about the iPad Mini 5? iPad Mini 4 was released in September 2015 that's like

over three years ago so where's the update? Today we're announcing an all new

iPad pro it's gonna push what you can do on iPad or on any computer even further.

The new range of iPad Pros were released but are they any good for use in

aviation and for use by pilots in the cockpit? Well let's take a look through

some of the specs. Well the smallest size that you can get in the iPad pro now is

11 inches that's the diagonal measurements of the screen itself

compared to the 7 and a half inches which we have currently in the iPad Mini 4.

So it's a lot larger in terms of the physical size that will be occupied on

your lap. They all come with the new true depth camera which gives you face ID for

face unlocking. Now I'm not sure how useful that is in the cockpit.

I actually set my iPad Mini without a passcode so I can just press the home

button and it will unlock straight away. I haven't tried using face ID to unlock

a device in the cockpit. I don't know if it's going to be distracting I don't

know if you can disable that entirely and just unlock the iPad pros with a

single touch but depending on that and depending on how you like to lock and

unlock your iPads in the cockpit for having face ID and no physical home

button that might be a consideration for you. Yeah also it's raining this morning

so apologies if there's any drops. One of the key differences is the chip that's

inside so the new chip there's the A8 processor which is in the iPad Mini for

the new iPad pros have got the new A12X processors this is supposed to give

you three times the speed in terms of CPU performance and eight times the

speed in terms of graphics performance. So if you are running apps on the new

iPad Pros compared to the current versions

of the iPad minis in theory they should run a lot faster. The iPad pros come with

the new Apple pencil as well and I usually quite like using a stylus on an

iPad in the cockpit but I found that sometimes when you get the stylus on the

end of pencils it's a little bit fiddly. But this obviously is designed to

integrate properly with the iPad Pro. Also it's got the tap button on there

where you can activate some of the features so having that stylus for

writing things down like clearances could be quite useful in the cockpit.

Battery life between the iPad pro and the minis is exactly the same as

advertiser's up to 10 hours and then the pricing has been released now you can

pick up an iPad Mini 4 here in Australia for about 4 or $500 depending on whether

you want Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi and cellular. The new iPad pros the 11 inches starts at

799 dollars US dollars that is for just the Wi-Fi version or if you want

the Wi-Fi and cell version which I actually recommend when you're flying

because if you can't tether your iPad to your phone you want to get an actual

Internet signal whilst you're in the cockpit that's very useful at times,

US dollars is 949 here in Australia it's one thousand four hundred and forty nine

dollars for the base level that's the 64 gigabyte iPad pro 11 inches which is

quite a step up from what you'd be paying for the iPad Mini for at the moment.

So should you upgrade that's the question. Well to be honest with you

there could still be an announcement for a new iPad Mini 5 in the future. I think

sometimes what Apple do is they want to release the big items and then

afterwards they go and release some of the smaller items

so maybe just hang five if you are waiting for a smaller a newer smaller

version of the iPad Mini because that might be coming out soon. But if you do

want to upgrade to the iPad pro the best advice that I can give you is check with

whoever makes your electronic flight bag if that's AvPlan, Oz Runways, ForeFlight,

Sky Demon, whatever you use check with them that it's been tested to run

on the new hardware before buying the new hardware and trying to run the

software on there. Me personally, what I'm going to do is I'm gonna stick with my

iPad Mini 4 for the moment and it's mainly just because it runs the

applications fine there's no speed issues and the size to me just because

it's nice and compact in the cockpit that makes all the difference. So I'm

gonna stick with the iPad Mini 4 and if a new version comes out which has got

the pencil and some of those processor and speed upgrades then I'll probably

upgrade to the Mini 5 at that point. Okay that's it I hope

A North Dakota Tribe Is Fighting to Vote, Here's Why It Matters | NYT News - Duration: 6:22.

"I've lived here my whole life,

so I know where everybody lives on a reservation.

We don't even have physical addresses.

If somebody told me to go to BIA Number 8,

I wouldn't even know where that is.

But tell me who lives on BIA Number 8

and I can get there."

Here on this North Dakota reservation,

the Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa Indians

don't use residential addresses.

"Do you have your ID?"

But if they want to vote in the midterm election,

they need to have one printed on their ID card.

"They're giving free IDs right now."

"Yeah."

"And you should get the word out

to everybody around here."

That's because of a recent Supreme Court ruling

that lets a controversial North Dakota

voter ID law stand.

The fight against the North Dakota law

started after Richard Brakebill and other members

of the Turtle Mountain tribe were turned away

from the polls in 2014.

"They said that because my ID didn't have my address,

and I didn't really have a North Dakota ID or anything —

that was really a letdown to me, you know?

I felt bad, you know, when they refused me."

Now a seasonal laborer, Brakebill is also a

Navy veteran, who says he's voted steadily

since he was 18.

"That's what kind of upset me too, you know,

you go serve our country

and then to be treated like that, you know?"

With the Native American Rights Fund and others

representing them, the Turtle Mountain members

tried to block the law.

They argued that it was discriminatory,

in part because reservations don't use physical addresses.

They won their case.

A federal judge ruled the law unconstitutional in 2016.

But their fight wasn't over.

The next year, the North Dakota governor

signed a new law with essentially the same rules.

Turtle Mountain tried to block the law again.

And that case made its way up to the Supreme Court

of the United States.

"I didn't hear a lot of conversation

about the Supreme Court decision

when it first came down.

I think it was when people started realizing,

a day or two after, that it really meant suppression

of our votes."

Jamie Azure has been meeting with other tribal leaders

and advocates to figure out how to get people

the documentation they need.

"We came up with a tribal letterhead in — when we met

at Spirit Lake.

I mean, they have everything on there.

They have post office box, physical address,

enrollment number.

They have a photo ID."

Proponents of the law say it's necessary to stop fraud,

especially since North Dakota doesn't require voters

to register in advance.

But according to the Native American Rights Fund,

native voters are more than twice as likely as others

to lack a qualifying ID.

"Come on.

Bring it into your heart and bring it over your head."

With the midterms fast approaching,

the tribes are not alone in feeling the pressure.

The Democratic Party is also rallying to get the word out

in native communities here.

The reservations in North Dakota

are patches of blue in a sea of red.

This is a very conservative state.

Democratic Senator Heidi Heitkamp barely won in 2012.

Her margin of victory was only about 3,000 votes.

"You need to vote.

And you need to vote in record numbers.

Let's send a message that the highest turnout

of any group in North Dakota is Native Americans

because they won't mess with you again."

[applause]

Now, Heitkamp is trailing her Republican opponent

in the polls.

If Democrats are to have a chance of

flipping the Senate, Heidi Heitkamp needs to win.

And her winning depends on getting native North Dakotans

out to vote.

They're depending on her too.

"The most important issues on the federal level

for the Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa

are federal programs and federal grants.

It's scary knowing that we don't

have control over our own future right now."

The Democratic Party has field organizers

working on four reservations across North Dakota.

Anna Giron focuses on Turtle Mountain,

where she's from.

"Thank you."

"The new tribal ID, right?"

No one knows exactly how many people

here lack the proper ID.

"And I'll give you a ride to go and get your —"

"O.K. —"

"ID."

Younger residents are more likely to have

a state-issued driver's license,

which always has an address on it.

The problem is bigger for the elderly.

"Miss Wally, are you up for a little bit of company?

The voter name —

Eugene —

Oh, you did it already?

You don't have any type of North Dakota ID that has

a physical address on it?"

"No."

"Joe, do you have any of your ID on you?

All right.

Now see, this is an old tribal ID that we have.

This has no address on it."

New tribal IDs usually cost $10.

That may not sound like a lot, but this reservation

has a 59 percent unemployment rate.

In response to the voter ID law,

all the tribes in North Dakota are now issuing IDs for free.

"One, two, three."

"That's nice."

"Yep, it's nice."

The county generates the addresses.

"I look like a criminal here."

In Turtle Mountain, there will also

be a machine at each polling place on Nov. 6,

ready to print new cards for those who still need them.

"Back in the 1800s, we fought the same battles.

The only difference between the 1800s and now is, 1800s,

we have guns.

Now we have a pen."

"And the pen is what we need to use —"

"So now, we are in 2018.

And we are reengaged back into the fight.

We're not going to let anybody stop us from voting.

This is the power that we have.

for this specific election.

emerged a record label called Cash Money Records,

founded by Bryan Birdman Williams

of their time, that Migos is 20 years later

for Quality Control Music, Cash Money Records was on a roll,

especially acquiring Drake, Tyga, and Nicki Minaj later on.

But, now with growing pains and growing lawsuits,

Cash Money Records is struggling to maintain the shine

that would make modern rappers beg to sign with them

like they used to.

This seems to raise the question of

how did Quality Control Music come in

and become the contemporary Cash Money Records,

even while Birdman's label still competes

for the Billboard charts?

With the number one superstar artist Lil Wayne

no longer wanting anything to do with Cash Money Records,

this raises a huge red flag of caution

to everyone in the music industry.

It was back on December 4th, 2014

that Lil Wayne called out Birdman

about the delay on Wayne's highly anticipated

Tha Carter V album.

Then about a month and a half later,

on January 25th, 2015, Lil Wayne shocked the music world

by announcing a $51 million lawsuit

against Cash Money Records, along with

the desire to leave the label and take his artists

Drake and Nicki Minaj with him.

After dissing Birdman and Cash Money Records publicly,

Lil Wayne's tour bus was mysteriously shot up in Atlanta

following a performance at the Compound nightclub

on April 26th, 2015.

An associate of Young Thug, the flamboyant rapper

that was rolling with Birdman at the time,

was arrested for the shooting,

immediately causing authorities

to point the finger at Cash Money.

Unfortunately, Lil Wayne wasn't the only recording artist

signed to Cash Money Millionaires

that had to live that lawsuit life

in order to address Birdman's infamous business methods.

It all began with Lil' Slim, who is the one

who introduced Lil Wayne to Birdman,

who left after feeling slightly out

of his fair share of his album sales.

Wendy Day, the non-profit Rap Coalition founder,

who actually helped negotiate the $30 million dollar deal

for Cash Money with Universal,

was allegedly told by Birdman,

"Sue me. When I have to pay you, you'll get paid,"

when she attempted to claim her 5% finders fee.

Along with Lil Wayne, other members of

the Hot Boys sued Cash Money.

Juvenile took home $11 million after getting a lawyer

and Turk sued for $1.3 million

and ended up settling out of court

for an undisclosed dollar amount.

Raised in a single-parent household in Indianapolis

by a mother who worked at an RCA Record pressing plant,

Coach K grew up in a house filled

with music fresh from the factory.

He remembers his mother bringing home

records and tapes, mostly R&B and jazz.

One day she bought him a copy of

the Sugarhill Gang's Rapper's Delight,

which sparked a lifelong obsession with hip-hop music.

"I was hooked on rap immediately," he explains.

"Me and one of my friends,

"his parents had bought him two turntables,

"so we just started spending our money buying records.

"Then my cousin, he DJed so I got engulfed

"in buying records."

After studying economics at Saint Augustine's University

in Raleigh, North Carolina on a basketball scholarship,

Coach K returned to Indianapolis

and started a record label called Universal Stars

with some friends.

With an A&R department and a management section,

the business provided Coach K

with his first music business experience,

but it didn't pan out.

Looking to make a new start, Coach K moved to Atlanta

in January 1997, less than a year after

OutKast had released ATLiens and months before

Lil Jon & the East Side Boyz would drop

their debut full-length, Get Crunk, Who U Wit: Da Album.

Atlanta's hip-hop community was brimming

with talent waiting to be exposed.

Luckily, Coach K arrived with some helpful connections.

A childhood friend of his, then-Atlanta Hawks power forward

Al Henderson, was starting a record label

and wanted Coach K to run the A&R department.

From there, he started managing Pastor Troy, Young Jeezy,

and Gucci Mane and establishing himself

in the city's rap world, developing his identity

as a taste maker who could take regional artists

and repackage them for a larger audience.

In 2013, him and business partner Pierre Pee Thomas

formed Quality Control Music.

They inked an innovative deal with 300 Entertainment

and Quality Control became one of the most successful

indie record labels in the music industry.

QC signed the Migos, OG Maco, Rich the Kid, Johnny Cinco,

Young Greatness, Skippa Da Flippa,

and a host of other talented upcoming acts.

By 2016 the Migos had dropped No Label 2,

Young Rich, and Yung Rich Nation,

and were gearing up to release Culture.

They came swinging with brand new slang,

with bando replacing the word trap,

and Versace replaced other luxury brands

in the way that Kanye West bigged up Louis Vuitton

early in his career.

They made mega hits like Fight Night, Hannah Montana,

Look at my Dab, and rapped with refreshing cadences

that grabbed everyone's attention.

Even golden era and modern age legend Q-Tip

from A Tribe Called Quest hopped on Twitter

and showed his love for the Migos

which prompted Drake to hop on the remix of Versace.

Migos were the hottest rappers in the game

and Quality Control Music was riding high

off of the Migos, like Cash Money Records were rising

to the top with the Hot Boys back in the late 1990s.

Migos represented the young, fancy, new Atlanta

and that's exactly what QC needed.

Unfortunately, by this time QC's deal

with 300 Entertainment had soured.

"300 was the biggest hurdle," Offset told Complex.

"They tried to hold us against our will.

"It wasn't never no in-house hurdles we ever had,

"like where it had been a problem.

"With 300, that was the biggest thing,

"going through times and situations with them.

"And we still did them right.

"Left them a nice piece of work."

Pee, whose words were typically measured, added,

"I'm gonna stand behind him on that.

"Because for 18 months, we couldn't sell no product.

"Whatever that was already out, that was already

"on iTunes or whatever, that was cool,

"but anything that we were putting out,

"it was like we were getting shackled down.

"They created that whole movement," Pee continues,

referencing Look At My Dab when it sparked.

"It was one of the biggest songs of that year.

"We had the athletes doing it.

"You had the kids, everybody was doing it.

"But you ain't see it on iTunes, you see what I'm saying?

"We couldn't sell it, we couldn't stream it,

"because we were in a battle," he told Complex.

While Coach K and Pee were embroiled

in their year-long struggle with 300,

they kept looking for the next talent

to draught to their roster, the next big bet to make.

In Yachty, they found an unlikely candidate.

A tall, dark-skinned teenager with beaded braids

the colour of fruit punch, and music that sounded

like candy-coated trap music.

Yachty first came to prominence in December 2015

when the SoundCloud version of his song One Night

was used in a viral comedy video.

In February 2016, Yachty debuted as a model

in Kanye West's Yeezy Season 3 fashion line

at Madison Square Garden, and Yachty's debut mixtape

Lil Boat was released in March 2016.

In April 2016, Yachty collaborated with DRAM

on the hit song Broccoli,

which peaked at number 5 on the Billboard Hot 100,

which was his biggest hit to date.

Lucky for QC the label's releases were now distributed

through Motown and Caroline,

subsidiaries of Capitol Music Group.

Quality Control Music appears to move like a family unit,

without any signees having to sue their way

into getting paid their justified amounts.

Quality Control Music has only been around since 2013,

but they have already put together a profitable roster.

Migos have dropped 13 mixtapes, 2 collaborative albums,

and 3 studio albums.

They hand-picked Lil Yachty, Lil Baby, City Girls,

and Johnny Cinco to name a few.

And if that wasn't enough, the label is also managing

other rap stars like Cardi B, Stefflon Don and Trippie Redd.

Apple's New iPad Pro and MacBook Air: First Look - Duration: 1:50.

Hey, it's Todd Hazleton from CNBC. I'm here in Brooklyn, where Apple just announced a

bunch of new products including a new MacBook Air, a new Mac Mini computer and

two new iPad Pro models. This is the 11 inch iPad Pro. There's also a new 12.9 inch

model and the biggest changes there's no more home button.

It just relies on face ID. So you just look at it and unlocks just like you would on

a new iPhone or the iPhone 10. Because there's no home button, you have a larger

screen and about the same size form factor as older iPad. So here you have

the 11 inch model. You can see there's no bezel down below or a very slim bezel

down below. Still the camera on the back and surround sound speakers on all sides.

Couple of new changes though there's USB-C charging instead of lightning, which is

a big change. And then you also have a magnetic Apple Pencil. It's a new Apple

Pencil. It sticks to the side and while it's attached to the side, it also charges.

This is the 11 inch model that starts at $799 with 64 gigs of storage.

There's also a 12 point 9 inch model it starts at $999 with 64 gigabytes of

storage. The brand new MacBook Air, it finally has a sharper display. If you've

been following the MacBook Air, you know that Apple hasn't updated it with

anything except for new processors over the past several years. It now starts at

$1,199, which is more expensive than the $999 starting price of the older MacBook

Air, but you get a lot more. It has two Thunderbolt 3 ports on the side as

opposed to one on the regular MacBook. It's a Retina display measures 13.3

inches so nice and big. And it has touch ID up here. A lot of features that were

never available on the MacBook Air that Apple has added to its newer computers

including the MacBook Pro and the Mac books. it's really nice and light. It's

actually thinner and lighter than the regular MacBook Air but again it's a

little bit more expensive.

so guys Ian small is the brand-new Evernote CEO so who is in small in small

used to be the head of TokBox which is now Vonage or is part of a company

called Nexmo, he was the chairman of the company that offered a online video

conferencing software so the software was mainly developed for businesses to

connect up with people and it has now been acquired as of august 2018 so

previously in small worked with Telefonica which is a popular company as

a chief chief data officer as well he also advised paper fold which was a

uk-based email application and is now joined as Evernote CEO in his

announcement blog post on the evident website

he told what it inventing the future which I quite liked a couple of things

in that blog post and I think you should be aware of is that he did state that

Chris O'Neill was a very integral part in the last three years of helping

evident get back on a financial footing he also has mentions that he's been

chatting with staff and the founder of Evernote about the way more ways to

explore and invent more at Evernote he also states it is a massive user of

productivity applications talking about how he is a relentless task organizer to

and I what I particularly like in a statement as well is dimension of how he

wants us to fall in love with us all over again at Evernote which is quite a

good statement I'd say bear in mind the sort of community situation right now

and he also wants to dedicate some time to where we've fallen short and how we

can do better as well and investigating how that has really impacted the users

one thing that really loved about this post by ian is that he left a little

personal PS at the end the message reads from as far back as I

can remember I have strong memories of my mother

collecting elephant mementos from the first day I talked with Evernote about

talking about taking the role I thought all about those elephants and

had the sense that today was somehow just meant to be I really like that

message and I think that's something really nice to leave us with so over on

reddit it is all been very positive so far and I haven't seen any negative

messages obviously Chris O'Neill has now left the company Chris was CEO all the

way back in 2015 where he joined and he has really been trying to put the

pillars in for supporting finance and onboarding of Evernote making it a much

more open platform for brand new users and Thiago does point a lot to the

things that they've been working on in our chat that we had here on today's

video so what does that mean for Evernote future as you can imagine with

a brand new CEO I can imagine they're going to spend a lot of time developing

their sort of routine in terms of getting him into into touch with

everything that's happening at Evernote and I could probably see that he will

try to refocus Evernote's mission but obviously trying to continue it on it

the lines of work what I quite like about the fact that he's come from a

video confident background is it he's been very interested in the sort of

enterprise side of stuff whereas obviously he doesn't necessarily need to

focus on the enterprise side of stuff I feel like that's gonna be beneficial for

those who use Evernote for work anyway guys hopefully you enjoyed today's video
