Customize your markup tool styles and speed up your workflow with Snagit Quick Styles and Favorites.

With Snagit, you can save custom styles of markup and editing tools like arrows,

lines, shapes, and callouts,

and then collect frequently used tools in your Favorites.

To create a custom style,

I recommend that you start with one of Snagit's default Quick Styles,

and then edit the properties until you achieve the effect you want.

As you work, a new ghosted style appears in the pane above.

When you've finished your changes, click the plus button on the ghosted style to add it to your quick styles.

As you can see, my new style is here,

part of the Basic themed arrows.

Drawing tools like arrows and callouts have themed collections,

and Snagit allows you to add your quick styles to multiple themes.

First make sure you have the annotation drawn on the canvas.

Then switch to the other theme,

select the annotation,

and then right or control-click and select Add to Quick Styles.

To remove it from your Quick Styles,

right or control-click and select Delete Quick Style.

When you remove a quick style from a theme, it only removes it from the selected theme.

Snagit 2019 introduced a way to make your favorite quick styles easy to access on the fly.

If there are styles--custom or not--that you frequently use,

you can add them to your favorites by clicking the star in the upper corner of the style preview.

Starred styles are accessible under Favorites, so you can access them without switching from one tool to another.

To remove a quick style from Favorites, simply select it and toggle the star off.

This removes it from your Favorites without deleting it from your quick styles.

today is a great day for a physician assistant FAQ frequently asked questions

now thank you everyone for responding I have a lot of material today so this is

going to be a two-part video so be sure to give me a thumbs up and subscribe to

my channel so you don't miss out on part 2 we're gonna dive right into this first

question personal statement tips and your tips and my experience in that

process so personal statement tips think about it the admissions office is

getting thousands of applications a day are they going to read your whole essay

probably not so most importantly nail the hook now the hook is the first few

sentences of your essay so start off with a quote make it interesting draw

them into your paper so they will read the whole essay and invite you in for a

POA school interview now your personal statement is selling your selfie you

want to tell a good story use real people real experiences adjectives

emotions make your story seem larger than life

be yourself tell the truth don't make stuff up but present yourself in a way

that missions is thinking hey this person seems pretty cool

I want them like them back I want to meet them in person and hopefully offer

you a spot in the PA program as far as interview tips I have a previous video

I'll link it below going in detail about that and I experienced in the process

that is a great video idea so I will say that for the feature I be asked about

finding shadowing opportunities this can be kind of difficult an easy way is

volunteering at the hospital hospitals always need more volunteers

and it looks amazing absolutely amazing on your application you have volunteer

departments that allow you to have hands-on experience if I got a lot of my

hours in the ER and also in the pharmacy and the other thing you can do is ask

your doctor I asked my ortho hey I'm your patient is it okay if I shadow you

and it was one of my favorite opportunities

something else that looks great do some research doing a medical mission

trip you're changing lives in third-world countries that's usually

where they're located again life-changing experience really exposes

to you and shows you how lucky and blessed you are to live and have such

great privileges in our country and also looks great on the resume lastly I would

email reach out to random small clinics in the area you'd be surprised a lot of

them are pretty willing to take on students or let you shadow because again

as a provider I love telling people about my profession and getting more

people into medicine rebecca asks about ways to improve and stand out as a

reallocate so I got into PA school on my second try most people I talked to it's

pretty common to get in on your second try you're competing against thousands

of people the class I applied to I believe had five thousand applications

which is pretty increasing pants what I would recommend is in your application

prove to the school especially if you're applying the same program and how your

application is different than last year what steps you took to improve and try

to bump up your GPA try to prove to them that your package is different than last

year and that you should get a second chance and getting invite to the program

this is a great question Corey asked about note taking techniques / time

management etc survival tactics one thing I learned the hard way is that

they go through a gazillion slides in an hour which is crazy but realistically

it's not uncommon to have a hundred slides per one hour lecture so for me

there was no way I could handwrite that fast so my top tip is probably to have a

computer I found it easiest to type on the bottom of the slides and trying my

best to review the slides that same diaper if not the next day so it's fresh

in my brain something out some points you remember you're in school from 8 to

5 you're already exhausted and you're going to go home and study for a few

more hours and be more exhausted so if you're not retaining any

information it's better to take a 30-minute break recoup go on a walk

so knowing when to take a break is probably my biggest tip for survival as

far as time management making a checklist

it feels so satisfying to check things off the list that way you have a list of

daily goals of course you're probably not going to get through all them but

just knowing how to plan out today how did partition your time is super helpful

in time and management another big tip of mine is to just keep looking forward

to the future my friends in PA school will make a joke how many sleeps until

the next break so five sleeps until Christmas vacation

two sleeps to the weekend just something fun to look at so remember how

lucky you are to be in school and that you're chosen out of thousands of people

so don't worry he got through the worst of it getting into school the end is

near same brand asks about how to beef up your GPA most efficiently post-grad

so for PA school minimum needing to be above of course you don't want to be

just at the minimum try your best for a As so I would say anything that's below

a B you definitely want to retake things like Anatomy med term that's gonna be

super helpful in PA school anything that's borderline B B+ I would probably

retake as well to boost up your GPA so it's really important to have a strong

foundation in anatomy in microbiology medical terminology you can even take

some farm classes to the show that you're getting a jumpstart into the PA

school curriculum this is my last question of the day is how to deal with

anxiety now PA school is going to be one of the most

stressful experiences of your life it was definitely super stressful for me

and remember you're not alone there are a lot of people who ended up going just

temporarily on anti-anxiety medications or seeking counseling does not mean

you're crazy it's actually okay and healthy to go out and get help so again

if you feel like this is you it is not uncommon and it's important for you and

for your sanity to do that what I did to deal with anxiety is to make sure to

always do something that makes me happy I did continue to teach figure skating

part time just a few hours a week you know it was crazy to work during PA

school but in my mind it was better to work three or four hours a week teaching

figure skating and doing something I love rather than spend two to three

hours staring at a textbook not rotating any information wanting to throw my

textbooks out the window other things people like to do yoga hot yoga dancing

music writing any type of hobby that you still love just remember to take time to

do it and then I think that really helps was just getting away from school just

going home on the weekends hanging out with non PA school friends i

love-love-love on my PA school friends but one role that we would joke around

about is getting together not talking about PA school not talking about tests

or studying anything stressful we wouldn't even have this joke if you talk

about it you gotta take a shot so just try not to talk about stressful things

and try to keep things light hearted hanging out with friends not frumpy a

school or family from home just to you know just don't you that's how school is

going just keeping your mind off of it just staying calm most schools also

offer fun things to do they may have something like intramurals a great way

to meet up a friend another program to the school and get some energy and

endorphins out and just relax so that's all the time we have today for these

Mexican Style Pickled Peppers & Carrots - Duration: 4:44.

- Hey everyone, I'm Jerry James Stone,

and today's video, I'm gonna show you

how to make these delicious, Mexican-inspired

Pickled Chili Peppers and Carrots.

First off, thank you Jason

for giving me all these wonderful Padrón peppers

because I've been just living off them.

They're delicious and spicy,

and here's a really great refrigerator pickle recipe

that I think you're gonna love.

To start making this recipe,

we first need to make our brine,

so we're doing half vinegar and half water.

Adding in some salt, some sugar,

some garlic, some black peppercorns,

some dried cumin, some dried oregano.

And now we're just gonna bring this to a boil.

So what we're making is this quick,

refrigerator pickle recipe. What that means is

we're not really canning, we're kinda cheating.

So by doing that, it's a lot easier to make,

but they don't last quite as long.

So these are gonna last about a week in the refrigerator.

And if you don't like spicy food,

you can actually use this brine

for your favorite vegetables.

Just remember: always use fresh vegetables

when you're doing this kind of recipe.

Frozen things are gonna be really mushy and disgusting.

It's just not gonna work out.

So to make these pickled Mexican-style pickled peppers,

just gonna do layers of the Padróns, layers of the carrots.

Not everyone loves pickled items,

but if you do, I wanna know what those items are.

I love jalapeños. I put them on everything.

I put them on my egg sandwiches, my omelettes...

I mean, literally everything I can probably put

something spicy on, I put some pickled jalapeños on.

Add in some pearl onions,

more Padróns, more Padróns,

some more carrots, more onions,

even more carrots, more Padróns

and more Padróns.

So like I said, this is Mexican-inspired.

These are the kind of pickled jalapeños and carrots

that you sorta find at a taquería,

and I can tell you, I live off of Mexican food.

I live off of Mexican food, it's my favorite cuisine,

and honestly...

Yeah, I live off of it.

So I was gonna try to break it up,

but that's the whole truth.

If you love Mexican food like I do,

I would love to know what some

of your favorite Mexican food dishes are.

And now we're gonna add the brine

that we brought to a boil to the jar.

If you wanna change up this recipe

and try some other variations,

you can really use almost any kind of vinegar.

You can use a white vinegar, an apple cider vinegar,

wine vinegars, a champagne vinegar...

The only thing you can't use is a balsamic vinegar

or a malt vinegar, you wanna stay away from those.

They just really are made for pickling.

So it's really important the liquid

completely cover whatever you're pickling.

So I'm just gonna add in a bit more water, just top it off.

Just go ahead and seal it up, and we're gonna let it cool.

Once it's cool, put it in the fridge.

So that's all it takes to make

these delicious pickled jalapeños and carrots.

Sorry, Padrón peppers. They're from Jason, they're Padróns.

They're typically jalapeños.

One thing that's really important

is when you're making this kind of recipe,

you wanna make sure that the brine

covers all of the vegetables,

so whatever you're putting in that jar,

make sure that's completely covered by the brine.

If you don't, it's gonna go bad.

This will last about a week in the refrigerator.

today and the mouth is closed so I might get no chicken guess I'm stuck with

cheese and pepperoni we've been busy we came out of the house

we took a load to Miami it turned out really good and they were like hey guys

it's 500 miles out of the way but we got yet another engine well you know that

Hello Gorillas and welcome to the new GORNATION youtube video. Today you are here to hear

the four things that helped me the most to master anything in life. So the first

thing that helps you that is essential to be able to do anything in

life is motivation .You have to be 100% motivated to just do what you want to do.

To have a goal you have to have 100% clear what you want to do. So the first

thing you have to have a vision you have to have a goal and you have to have like

a reason why you're doing what you do. So the second thing. The second thing you

have to have is sacrifice. You have to sacrifice things that you love. You have

to sacrifice an evening with friends in a bar and drinking and doing crazy stuff.

That's number two that's really really important many people have like a big

dream and they are dreamers but they don't have a goal with a with a

strategic plan where they want to go. So number two sacrifice. This

brings us to number three. Number three is self reflection self reflection is

really really important. You have to think am i doing the right thing. What am

i doing. How do I present myself to other people. What am I wearing.

What am I looking like. Am I smelling good. Am I doing the right thing you know

all these crazy things that's really really important. You have to put your

ego down put your mask off and really think about what Am i

doing the whole day. Am I spending and my time on bullshit stuff like Whatsapp

and Instagram and watching stories instead of producing content for other

people that other people can consume what is your goal. Number four is

repetition. If you found what you want to do and if you know what not to do

the whole day and how not to spend your time. You have to do it again and again and

again. Really repetition is the most... I don't know even how to say this. It's so

important to do repetitions Arnold Schwarzenegger you know he would never

have gotten so big if you wouldn't have done the the repetitions in

bodybuilding and eating and sleeping you know it's so important to do repetition.

Really the numbers count. If you're doing one post on Instagram and you want to

become an influencer how shall this work? You know really how shall this work with

one post? You have to do it again again and again really every hour every day

you have to post and repetition is so important. So if you want to get become

good really become really really good at it pull-ups you have to do repetitions

every day. I remember like when I started calisthenics I was doing 10 pull-ups 10

sets every day you know 10 pull-ups 10 sets every day. I thought 100 pull

ups every day this has to get myself towards this goal and really today I

still do it and I even if I am NOT able to train every day and to workout I

still I'm really really good and even pull off because because I did it like

four years 100 pull-ups every day. These are the four things that helped me a lot to

attain my goals and still help me every every day and this isn't a matter of

what you want to do and how big this goal is this will help you I promise you.

A Day In The Life | Andrea Larosa - Duration: 6:05.

Friday, 28th of september, 7:50am.

I'm going to do breakfast.

Whole Grains

Instant Oatmeal

Whey protein that I usually take as a post workout, but these with coffee flavour are perfect to mix with some milk for breakfast

Rusks with berry jam

I can start the day.

Just finished my breakfast, now I'm going to the supermarket to do some groceries because this evening I will leave for a workshop in Bergamo

So I take advantage to buy something healthy to eat on the train.

I bought some fruits and bresaola meat to bring with me for the travel.

Now I'm going to work on some workout programs that I wasn't able to finish yesterday

and then I will training.

So guys...It's almost 12pm, I'm going to start my training,

today I'm planning to do only basic exercises because these last few days I have had some heavy training sessions.

So today I will do only basic push/pull exercises.

I'm going to start my warm up and then I'll do some more interesting exercises.

I finished my warm up

I don't feel 100% warmed up, but is okay for today, because I'm going to work only on some pull-ups, dips and other basic exercises.

Finished my training, now I'm going to take a shower, I will lunch and then I'm going to prepare my bag for the trip.

Now I'm going to the train station.

It's 12:30 am, I'm just arrived to the hotel.

I can finally rest a little bit, so tomorrow I will do my workshop.
