G'day everyone! My name is David, it's so great to see you all today. So are you

looking for some great Christian books to grow your faith? Well, I know you are

because people ask me all the time on social media to recommend Christian

books. So, today I'm gonna tell you the five best Christian books.

Oh, this is gonna be a good one!

So today we're talking about the best Christian books to grow your faith.

Now these are all books that I've read and recommend all the time, because

they've had such a big impact on my faith. And I'm deliberately not ranking

them in order, they're just the best 5 books that I recommend, and you don't

want to stick around to book number 4 because the author of that one ... it's

gonna shock you. And no, it's not me. So the first Christian book I recommend is

Sitting At The Feet of Rabbi Jesus by Lois Tverberg. I hope I pronounced that

right? Teva berg? T'ver berg? T-ver-berg? Terver Berg? Ah, I say Lois Tverberg.

This book was recommended to me a few years ago by a friend, and I gotta say it

changed my faith. And if you've ever wanted to know about the cultural

context of the Bible, this is the book for you. It's not like a text book it's

just a book that has a lot of Christian cow moments in it. Do you know what I

mean by Christian cow? Like you're reading it and you go ...

I don't think that one's ever happened. And as a bonus Louis Tverberg

has also written two other books in this series Reading The Bible With Rabbi

Jesus, and Walking In The Dust Of Rabbi Jesus. Now if you want to know what she

means by walking in the dust of Rabbi Jesus, I actually did a video about this

a while ago and I will leave a link to it up there. Or up there? I think it's there.

Okay so the next book is Misreading Scripture With Western Eyes by

Randolph Richards and Brandon O'Brien. Now this book was like a theological

punch to the face when i first read it.

I mean we all misread scripture right? And this book just tells you why. I guarantee you that you will

love this book. Best Christian book number three is Forgotten Jesus by

Robbie Gallaty. Now full disclosure, I actually

both love and hate this book. I love it because it tells you how Western

Christians can follow an Eastern Rabbi, and it also includes quotes and ideas

from some of my favorite authors and theologians. But I also hate it because

this is the book that I really wanted to write. I missed it by that much. Thanks a

lot Robby Gallaty. Now book number four is What Every Christian Should Know

About The Jewishness of Jesus, by my good friend rabbi Evan Moffic. Yeah, that's right ...

one of my top five Christian books was written by a Jewish rabbi. What are

you gonna do? Deal with it. Y'all need to deal with it.

See this book explains a whole bunch of those cultural traditions that Jesus

experienced and talks about in the Gospels. And I love it because

understanding the cultural context of the Bible helps you to see more in the Bible.

It's like when my family went on vacation to the Bahamas and we ended up

on this absolutely stunning beach. But then, when we went snorkeling at that

beach ... we found this whole new world just below the surface of the water that made

that beach even more memorable. So this book by

Rabbi Evan Moffic, is kind of like snorkeling.

So do yourself a favor ... get this book by Rabbi Evan Moffic, and go snorkeling!

So last but certainly not least in my list of the top 5 Christian

books is The Gospel According To Moses by Athol Dickson. This book is actually a

story of a Christian who didn't have a Bible study to go to in his hometown, so

he went to the local Jewish synagogue to learn more about God. It's a really fun

read that teaches you a lot without you even really knowing it. It's like

"edutainment", which funny enough is an actual word. It combines education with

entertainment. Edutainment. Google it. So those are my top five best Christian

to absolutely love you, how'd you do it?

I just showed up and was nice to everyone.

Photolemur 3 Review | Best Real Overview & Demo - Duration: 13:36.

Hey everyone Nate Valline here and welcome back to my channel. In this video

I'm going to do a full comprehensive review on a new software that is launching

today, October 26. It's called Photolemur 3. It's the third

version of this and it's already widely accepted by over 190,000 users.

Very powerful software and pretty excited about this one! It's a pretty

cool software. What Photolemur is, is a photo editing software program that

uses artificial intelligence to automatically enhance your photographs.

Now for me, the average Joe, I'm definitely no professional photo editor

or anything like that I know the basics and so for me, this software is something

that I could find very useful. And so like I said in this video, I'm gonna give

you my full review and then walk through the software with you. We can play with a

couple images, see how this artificial intelligence enhances your

photos for you all on its own and all you have to do is drag and drop and let

it do its magic. So with that let me start by kind of the same, talking about

what Photolemur is fo,r because you know in today's world everybody has a

smartphone. At least here in the US, Europe, some of the other more developed

countries, everybody has a smartphone and a lot of those phones have their own

photo editing capabilities. But where this really I think has its place is on

the desktop, so with me shooting this video I use a Surface Pro 4.

So this is Windows based, it is compatible on both Windows and Mac so

you can do all your editing that way. It also works with Lightroom as well as

Photoshop, so if you are one of those experienced more advanced photo

editors who can see an image and see exactly what they need to change to it

to really enhance it to bring out that lush, vibrant feel, then you know you

this product might not be for you, but it could be a very useful tool for

you still. The group of people that I find, see that this software really will

be a big benefit to is the average Joe like myself. The ones that want to grow

and improve upon their own photo editing capabilities with a little time and

money investment and something that they can grow and learn from as they build. So

with that let's get into this software. So I picked out a few images here that

we can play around with and with this as you can see it's a very simple program.

they there's three steps to it, you drag and drop your image, it does it's magic,

then you finalize and publish it and so let's do just that.

So I have a few images here that we can play around with some of these are just

images I took with my phone. So I drug that image over, dropped it in. This is a

landscape from my area, like I said I took it with my phone. It's a Galaxy S9.

So it's what you can consider one of the best cameras on the market for a phone

right now, that and the iPhone the newest iPhone, they tend to go back and forth a

little, but as you can see, you know it did its

magic and now it presents you with your image. It gives you this nice slider so

you can really see how the enhancements have altered your image. So with this

image the before or I'll slide this all the way over you can see you know it's a

beautiful fall day, great dramatic clouds in the sky, some color on the hillsides

up here. It's really not a bad image to begin with but when you run it through

Photolemur and you slide this back over to the

after, you can see it really emphasizes the the contrast in the clouds, the the

pop of the red leaves here really becomes a little bit more vibrant as

well as the green leaves and the bushes. So again you can slide it back and forth

like so now one thing you know that some of these enhancement tools often do is

over enhance them you know kind of they kind of wash everything out or make it

so enhanced that it doesn't quite look real. So the nice thing is is you can

come in here and fine-tune the enhancement you know coming down you

know 20% or so 15-20% kind of brings it back down to that that almost "realistic"

level but even though it's still much more enhanced so as you can see and

again click off of it and you get your slide back so you can see the changes

now the great thing about this software and something that many of the

smartphones use are filters so this has its own filters there are 6 filters here

you can kind of get an idea of what they are through the images or the icons

there as well as the tables, or the not tables, the titles and

so like this one here fall this is a fall photo coincidentally enough but

let's select that it's doing its magic and it's gonna apply this filter to the

image and so it does it does take just a second when you as you can drop a single

image or multiple images so you can really kind of do a lot with this if you

are wanting to enhance several photos but here you can see it really brings

out the colors a lot more on the hillsides in all the leaves that all the

Reds come out more the clouds very dramatic but they didn't lose that

almost kind of realistic feel so this actually looks really quite good and

actually it looks very very much like how the day was when I took the photo

these hillsides were just on fire this fall they were beautiful so as you can

see a great great image and it was all done just with a dragging a drop so

let's close that out let's start over here let's click another image here

we'll do this image here it's a inside image one that kind of has a portrait to

it of my beautiful mug it's doing its magic and so some of the benefits of

this like I said it's drag-and-drop feature you can do bulk editing it's you

know it's got its a I that will automatically enhance the videos or not

videos photos you have your filters with all the different styles there's the

face enhance which if you click on me here you can

see face enhancement is currently on and what that does is it opens the eyes

soften some of the features kind of just kind of makes it a little bit more

pleasant but again you can see the before and after even if you watch the

eyes and you can kind of see it lightens them up whitens them a little bit and it

kind of just makes the rest of the image a little bit more vibrant a little bit

more warm than pleasing to the eye something that's gonna really attract a

good a good audience to your images and so you know when you're done you can

come down you hit export you can save it to the disk

if you hit some of these advanced settings again it's got some good

advanced settings you can set it for email or web JPEG you can change the

format to any of these other formats you can change the sizing no you know no

problem there and also the the color profile so there's some good settings

here that you can choose from as you save them and then you can then export

them straight to your social media or whatever you need to to implement them

your social media or even just advertisements or if they're just for

your personal use as well so you know with this it's like I said I think it's

a great tool a great software especially for the average Joe the average Joe

photo editor but the more the professional photo

editors you know like I said this is they product can do just as much just as

quickly but you know the average Joe that doesn't really know photography

this is a great software drag-and-drop that's all you got to do and your photos

are gonna turn out very beautiful and look very pleasing and professional so

The best timing advice I ever got (thanks to Benny Greb) - Duration: 3:38.

- The best groove advice I ever got

comes from super drummer Benny Greb,

someone I admire a lot and I was watching him

doing some sort of live lesson on YouTube

and what he basically said was this.

He told me, or at least he told the audience

that was watching the video, including me,

he told us to clap this rhythm (clapping).

And then he told us to count one, two, three, four

over it while clapping this.

And what happened to me is something

that happens to basically everyone

who hasn't practiced doing this.

It starts off fine, but in the second bar

you mess it up around count three.

One, two, three, four, one, two, three.

One, two, three, four, one, two, three.

One, two, three.

Try it if you haven't already.

You'll probably notice I'm right.

That's pretty stupid, isn't it?

And I obviously immediately started practicing this,

and I noticed that the three in the second bar

is the only count that's not combined with a clap

and that's what's throwing you off.

You have to count that three in an open, empty space.

One, two, three, four, one, two three, four.

One, two, three, four, one, two three, four.

What I've heard Benny say multiple times afterwards

is that whenever he is working on a beat

and he feels like it's not quite there yet,

or he's not yet 100% in control of the groove,

in those moments he will always use this trick.

The thing we just did, one, two, three, four

but then with the beat he's working on at that moment.

And I'm going to be honest with you,

I was a bit surprised to hear

that this super, ultra, mega drummer's

ultimate secret weapon was that he counts

one, two, three, four while practicing grooves

but I've found over time that he's completely right.

Being able to keep counting out loud

while playing your grooves and fills

might be the closest thing there is to a secret trick

to becoming a great drummer.

It's a brutally effective way to force you

to connect everything you play to your inner clock,

giving your hits a very tangible place in time

instead of letting one finger just react to another finger.

Now, I want to wrap up this video

It's actually more of a mindset if you will.

A mindset that I know is gonna transform

your drumming and your groove.

From now on, whenever you're working on a beat or a fill,

try counting the basic time signature over it

and if you cannot do it, and you get confused

and you start messing up your groove,

you have to stop doing what you're doing,

analyze the groove, analyze how every hit

relates to you counting out loud,

you slow it down and you start practicing

playing while counting

until that's become completely effortless.

And this mindset might cost you

one or two extra practice sessions at first

for everything new that you're playing,

and it might seem frustrating

or like a waste of precious groove, time or something

but trust me, soon you will be much better

and much faster at this until at some point,

this extra connection to your inner clock

will be second nature.

At which point you will be one step closer

to becoming a true groove master.

I have been on a mission to reduce plastic and I've also been looking for

waterless diffusers so today in the mail I got the best of both worlds this is

the organic aromas nebulizing diffuser for aromatherapy and I will say organic

aromas if you're watching this video why do you have to have this

plastic on the outside of the box this plastic is never leaving the earth for

450 years you don't need it please stop excessively using plastic in

packaging but let's move on so nebulizing diffuser is use something

using Bernoulli's principle which is the pressure that breaks the oils up into

one micron particles which is like that one hundredth of a width of one human

hair it doesn't add heat it doesn't use water and this one I got because that

also the oils do not come into contact with any plastics. wow this looks really

good quality so this is a ceramic base that it goes on and then here's the top

look at this beautiful last time it's best that this goes continuously you put

25 drops in there and it will s are about 2 hours

but what I know about nebulizing diffuser is they break the particles at

the most smaller pieces that actually and float in the air for about 90

minutes after it's been defusing and you can see this so this is hand blown glass

and there's like a little thing in their little opening where the air will come

out so you put this into this little part right here it's a silicone little

rubber deal right here and you can fit that guy in there so so far there's like

a shelf liner on the bottom that seems like that might be plastic which doesn't

make me thrill and then plastic or an important I think every electrical cork

has plastic around it so then you plug the power cord in pass a little knob

right here that goes from like really high to not so high ooh

what should I use how a little motivate that's one of my favorites I

always use this one in my office so we're gonna draw 20 to 25 drops of oil

which seems like a lot but we'll see how it goes I'm guessing that this is gonna

run for several cycles on that many drops I think my dog is chewing on something I'll be

back he was! Okay back to this so 25 drops you

put the little on thingy back on they have so many pretty decided but I got

this really simple design that they have like ones with engraved glass and

designs on the glass they have ones with wooden bases from now when you turn it

on there's this knob right here and you can go from low to high

wow this is really cool so it operates on for two minutes off

for one minute well it's weird because I thought the oil would have to be like

down in there but it's not holy cow this thing is like totally filling my

office right now wow this is amazing this is probably and it's so quietly

you can literally barely hear this thing and there's a little light so you can

turn the light on or off I originally thought that these would be in the front

but it seems to me like these are in the back and then you just turn it on from

the back this is one powerful diffuser and I love nothing is coming in contact

with plastic there are no oils that are coming in contact with plastic and it's

so pretty its first diffuser so it's on the

pricier side but I don't know it's worth it to need to know that there are no

oils getting into the air I will link this below what do you think about
