Youtube daily which Oct 15 2017

So in today's video I'm just going to talk about what the appropriate liquids

for fasting are. Now I get asked this question a lol, like a lot! So I think

it's about time to make a video and I just briefly clarify what you can have

and what you can't have, so, first of all let's just define what fasting is. Now

there's there's two definitions. The first is complete abstinence from foods

so nothing at all and people call this a dry fast (not even water), right, and this

is something I don't advocate it all. And some people will define fasts

as eating a little bit of food, 300, 400 calories per day. Basically

the way I like to look at it and I suggest you do is a fast is little to no

calories and if you're gonna consume any calories at all, they should be the

least insulinogenic - meaning they hardly spike insulin. Now that

macronutrient is fat, right? So protein turns to sugar through gluconeogenesis,

so it increases your blood sugar and it spikes your insulin, sugar and

carbohydrates which are basically sugar increase your insulin and increase

blood sugar. Fat doesn't really do this, but anything you eat is going to

increase your insulin, right? Because it's not necessarily the food that you're

eating per se, it's the reaction of your stomach (that's called the cephalic

response), so when your stomach kind of responds to food or even before you eat

the food insulin is secreted so the body's ready to properly shuttle

the sugar throughout cells and tissue in the body. So basically having coffee

is okay, having tea is okay, having sugar free gum is okay, having a little bit of

cream in your coffee is fine, a little bit of cream... anything under twenty or

thirty calories, a little bit of butter is fine if you eat that, MCT oil is

great I mean you're gonna elevate your ketone levels which can be great if

you're trying to get into ketosis, generally a little bit of fat

is gonna be fine, as long as you're not having like eight coffees per day. So if

you're having one or two coffees per day and you add in a bit of MCT oil or you

add in a bit of full fat milk - just a tiny bit - then that's fine you're only

having two servings of that across 16 hours or whatever. But if you're

having eight coffees a day and each one has some butter in it or cream that

could be like 80 calories each time and that can be the equivalent of like two

full meals of worth of calories in your fasting period and clearly that's not

"fasting", right? That's more classified as a "fat fast". So that's basically it.

Anything with sugar so gum with sugar or sugar in your coffee or tea, no, not even

a little bit because your insulin is just gonna go up, even with a tiny

bit, it's just gonna go up and you really are not fasting and getting the benefits

of fasting when you do that. But a tiny bit of butter, a tiny bit of MCT oil

and you're still gonna get the benefits of that increased insulin sensitivity

which you want, autophagy is still going to take place after a enough time

even with a little bit of butter in your coffee or cream. BDNF (brain-derived

neurotrophic factor) is gonna increase, you're gonna get all of the

main benefits. So don't be worried about putting a bit of cream in your coffee.

Ideally if you can withstand the taste have your coffee black, you know? It's

gonna be better. Just drink water, just drink a plain tea, but if you really

really really have to then it's fine and it's not gonna be a problem. So that's

the video we just wanted to clarify that. And yeah hopefully you got something

out of it hopefully this answers your question and if you already knew the

answer to this and you're still watching then thanks for watching anyway and

thanks for the support. So until next time guys I'll see you

"Master Key" Reveals Which Idol Won The Fan Vote + Which Team Won The Final Game

On October 14, the new SBS variety show Master Key aired its first episode.

During the show, the staff revealed who had won the most fan votes out of the cast, which includes entertainers like Jun Hyun Moo, Park Sung Kwang, Kim Jong Min, and Lee Soo Geun, actresses like Kang Han Na and Jo Bo Ah, and idols like EXOs Baekhyun, Wanna Ones Kang Daniel and Ong Sung Woo, Henry, ASTROs Cha Eun Woo, B1A4s Jinyoung.

Out of all 12 members in the cast, Baekhyun won the fan vote and earned a golden chance ticket that would give him a hint as to the identity of the master key.

Jun Hyun Moo came last in the vote, only two votes behind second-last place, Park Sung Kwang. In the episode, the cast was divided into groups of six and competed in games.

The ultimate goal of the game is to find out which two members possess the master key. The teams were Lee Soo Geuns team (Baekhyun, Kang Daniel, Jo Bo Ah, Jinyoung, Park Sung Kwang) and Jun Hyun Moos team (Kim Jong Min, Henry, Ong Sung Woo, Cha Eun Woo, and Kang Han Na).

The games ranged from treasure hunt-style competitions to relay dance battles. If a team failed the relay dance battle, they would be sprayed with water. Other games included nonsense quizzes, an area at which Ong Sung Woo excelled, and variations of tag.

The final winner of the episode was Lee Soo Geuns team, who used Baekhyuns chance card among other things to determine Cha Eun Woo and Henry as the master key holders. As the prize, all the team members received a golden key.

HEALTHY LIFE - Which Fruits Have the Most Sugar? - Duration: 4:59.

Fruit's good for you! It has fiber and other nutrients you need.

But it also has natural sugar, and some have more than others.

For example, one mango has a whopping 45 grams of sugar

-- not your best choice if you're trying to watch your weight or how much sugar you eat.

Maybe enjoy a couple of slices and save the rest for later.

A cup of these has about 23 grams sugar.

That's a lot for something that's so easy to pop in your mouth.

You might eat them more slowly if you slice them in half and freeze them.

They'll be waiting for you as a refreshing summer treat that takes a bit longer to eat.

They're sweet, and they have the sugar to show for it:

A cup of them has 18 grams.

If you fill up a large bowl with them,

you can lose track of how many you eat.

Measure your snack beforehand so you know exactly how much sugar you'll get.

One medium pear has 17 grams of sugar.

If you're trying to cut back, don't eat the whole thing

-- just put a few slices in some low-fat yogurt or on top of a salad.

A medium wedge of this summer treat has 17 grams of sugar.

As its name suggests, it's loaded with water,

and it has special minerals called electrolytes that are just what your body needs to recharge after some time in the sun.

Just keep it to a slice or two.

Two medium-size ones have 16 grams.

If you're trying to keep an eye on your sugar,

maybe slice a couple and spread some goat cheese on them for a protein-rich treat,

or use some in a sauce to add some zip to lean meats like skinless chicken.

One medium banana has 14 grams sugar.

If that seems like more than you bargained for,

slice half of it into your morning cereal or smash a small piece in the middle of your peanut butter sandwich.

Not all fruits are loaded with the sweet stuff.

A whole avocado -- yep, it's a fruit -- has only half a gram of sugar.

Put it in a salad, spread it on toast, or make some guacamole.

But while they're low in sugar, they're high in calories,

so it might not be a good idea to make them a daily habit.

Each one has 5 grams of sugar and about 3 grams of fiber,

too -- more than you'd get from a serving of brown rice or a slice of whole-grain bread.

You'll get even more fiber if you add guavas with the skin on to your smoothies.

These pack a serious punch of fiber with 8 grams per cup -- and only 5 grams of sugar.

The fiber is good for digestion and can help you feel fuller with fewer calories.

They're the perfect size to savor one at a time,

and they're not bad with some fresh whipped cream and a spoon, either.

It's kind of amazing that the flavor

and satisfaction packed in a single medium wedge can come from only 5 grams of sugar -- and only 23 calories.

Try it with some cottage cheese and a sprinkle of salt.

Here's a good one to add to your shopping list:

Half of a small one has 6 grams of sugar.

Even a small one is pretty big, so half is plenty to eat at one time.

You can add a squeeze of lime and a sprinkle of sea salt --

or a dollop of frozen yogurt for a tropical treat.

A cup of whole strawberries has only 7 grams.

Add them to a salad for some vibrant color and a touch of summer.
