How to make lentil bolognese - Duration: 0:45.

Lentils are the perfect ingredient for a budget-friendly bolognese.

Heat two tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat and add one finely chopped brown onion

then two finely chopped celery stalks, a grated carrot and three finely chopped garlic cloves.

Cook for 5 minutes to soften.

Stir in 700 grams of tomato passata sauce,

two seeded and diced tomatoes and a half a cup of water,

then bring to the boil.

Add a 400 gram can of drained and rinsed lentils

and two teaspoons of dried thyme.

Season to taste and cook for 15 minutes or until thickened slightly.

Serve with your favourite pasta and top with grated Parmesan.

Can I make Akamu with Popcorn? The VERDICT - Duration: 9:20.

Hey guys, Flo here and in this video,

I'll share the results of my experiment making akamu with popcorn with you.

I applied the same process for making akamu with normal akamu corn.

Rinse the corn ...

Put it in a container that has a cover.

Pour cool water to cover the corn.

Cover and keep it in a warm place.

Usually we soak the corn for akamu for 4 days.

That's the length of time it takes for fermentation to kick in

and for the corn to develop that classic sour taste of akamu.

But in this case I found that popcorn is quite strong,

it has not shown any signs of fermentation.

It was still very hard to bite.

And it didn't smell that much.

It didn't smell like the .. you know, the normal corn for akamu.

That was after 4 days.

So I left it in the container for 1 more day.

And on the 5th day, I noticed that it has softened a little bit and the smell was there.

That classic smell that I was looking for ... was there.

So after soaking for 5 days and changing the water every other day, here we are.

When you compare the soaked popcorn to the dry ones,

you'll see that the seeds did not swell up by much.

Next, rinse and put in a sieve like this.

Then grind till smooth.

I noticed that popcorn's pericarp is quite thick

and the endosperm is small compared to the pericarp.

And since the starch that we call akamu comes from the endosperm,

this means you will get more akamu from the same quantity of normal akamu corn.

Next we separate the chaff from the starch.

To make my life easier, I first of all pass it through

a sieve with a fine mesh to remove the coarse particles.

This ensures that I will spend less time passing it through a chiffon cloth later.

Repeat the process for the remaining ground corn.

See how coarse the chaff is?

Then pass it through a chiffon cloth.

This takes less time because the coarse particles have been removed.

When done with the rest, untie and remove the cloth.

Cover the bowl and set it aside to settle for at least 3 hours.

For akamu made with normal corn, it takes about 3 hours for the akamu

to settle at the bottom and the water at the top to turn clear.

But with popcorn, I left it there for 5 hours but

you can see that the water at the top is still cloudy.

Then pour the akamu into a muslin bag.

Tie it up and set aside so that the remaining water can seep out.

I place a heavy object on it to speed up the process.

After some hours, you can even leave it overnight;

this is the quantity of akamu I got from 500g of popcorn!

You can see that way more than half is chaff.

To make the akamu, I mix that with some water.

The starch from popcorn is quite weak compared to that of normal corn for akamu

so be careful about the quantity of water you use.

Err on the side of less water to be safe.

Boil some water.

Then slowly pour into the mix while stirring at the same time.

Stop pouring water as soon as you see the first signs of thickening.

Then stir.

Because the starch is weak, it's not as conc. as I like my akamu which is sad

because this means that I can't add as much Peak Milk as I would like.

Add some peak evaporated milk.

Stir and add some more!

Akamu that does not contain a pool of peak milk is that one akamu?

No.

The verdict!

Based on my experiment, I can say that popcorn is a pretty good alternative for making akamu.

These are the slight differences but yes that's what you get with alternatives,

they are never 100% like the original.

Hey guys, I wanted to do something a little different today and give back to the Youtube community

Specifically the small-time YouTuber I created my YouTube channel less than one year ago

And I was hoping to have a lot of fun, and maybe make a little money along the way

Lately I've actually started to make some pretty amazing money here in Youtube over $500 a month on this channel and over

$700 a month when you added my other two smaller channels

I'm not saying this to brag but to teach those who are interested in what it takes to make this kind of money on your

small YouTube channel

So here's my dashboard for the last 28 days

As you can see my total revenue for this period is over four hundred sixty five dollars

During this time I racked up almost a quarter of a million views and another stat that I find absolutely crazy

Is my channel has been watched for close to 600 days in this period That's just incredible

So you can see my total revenue for this channel does not come up to

$500 but my ad revenue does not tell the complete story

Here and my videos I also beat your Amazon affiliate links to the products that I use in like

If you're not familiar with Amazon affiliates you can set up an account with Amazon and create links to products

If the user clicks on your link and buys that product or any other product for that matter you make a 4 percent or greater

Commission off their total Amazon purchase. I put these links in the description of my videos where the products are being used

So here's my Amazon affiliates dashboard over the course of this month. I've made over

$65 this is pretty typical month for me on Amazon

So you can see my total for this channel for the month

Which still has a few days left is already over five hundred and Thirty dollars

So you might be saying a quarter of a million views in a month is not a small YouTube channel

But it wasn't always this way actually this month was my first month that my youtube ad revenue has been this high quite honestly

and it was due a large part to my 100 push-ups a day for 30 day challenge video which went semi Viral that received about

200,000 views over the course of 10 days and it is still continuing to pull in the views I

Had a little over 200 subscribers less than a month ago

But when this video took off my subscribers shot up to over 1100 in just a little over a week I

Do hope that Sunday I get a silver YouTube play button so with that being said I will

Shamelessly say I'd be thrilled if you'd subscribe

So if you're a small youtuber hoping to start making some money on YouTube hang in there keep making videos

For more videos you make the better

They'll get and it only takes one video to take off to make all the difference before my video took off

I would get about 1500 views a day on my channel and I made about 10 to 20 dollars per month I

Jamar had a great spring his freshman year.

We knew he was going to get on the field as a sophomore,

with some very talented seniors that year.

I remember the night Ja'Marr had walked in the building, I had never seen him before.

In Junior High, the guy threw the ball to Ja'Marr, they had three guys covering him,

and Ja'Marr jumped over all three of them and caught the ball.

Ever since my sixth grade year, I've been at Livaudais Middle School,

and I just played receiver and I was doing

everything I had to do now, I was desperate. I wanted everything.

6'2", 194 lbs, I mean a kid walks in here like that,

that's an NFL receiver.

Last year he was the leading receiver, he's on the verge of breaking all the school records.

He could stay that size the rest of his career,

and he's good. You just gotta sharpen some different things.

He's athletically gifted.

Just a very talented young man. Physique-wise, strength, speed, athleticism.

The guy's got the 15th best long-jump in the nation.

A 38" to 40" vertical, his broad jump is probably between 11 and 12 feet.

We do pro-day training too and my pro-day athletes can't do what he does.

I played running back, I played a lot of positions when I was in park ball.

But once I got to middle school I stayed at receiver.

He's a competitor so he makes everybody around him just a little bit better.

He definitely passed the eye test the first time I saw him.

I mean, he likes Dez Bryant-

I like how physical he is. He just has a great mindset about everything.

-I think he's a little better vertically probably than a Dez Bryant.

Physically, he could be that guy, but I mean he's a total package.

He can attack a DB if you play him off the line,

His route running, he can put his foot

in the ground and changed direction and then at the end of the day if all else fails you

could throw it up to Ja'Marr, and he'll get it. him I guess I said my dad you know he'd

I guess I say my dad. He's been there my whole life so

he's been telling me everything to do since I was young

young, so, yeah. He's my dad.

I was a top athlete too, coming out in my year,

I was captain of my football team, I was a high profile kid, and went to Alcorn State.

I was there for a year and things didn't work out for me because I didn't have no

parental guidance as far as a father, so I was making all the decisions on my own.

So I work with him on the small. things.

His hands are out of of this world.

You know, they actually call him "Hands Ja'Marr."

That's his name, "Hands Chase."

I'm extremely proud of my son, because

he exceeded all of my expectations.

We've had some very talented receivers,

He might be, before this year's over, the most talented to come through Rummel.

I'm focusing on these three schools: LSU, Tennessee and TCU.

Wherever he goes they are gonna get a good football player.

He's a pretty good kid, you just don't want to make him mad.

Just being who I can be, playing my game.

Physical, toughness, that's what I have to do.

You can't just go out there and be lazy and just hope that it come to you.

You gotta work for everything.

ARSENAL have launched a £35million bid for Monaco winger Thomas Lemar. The Gunners are lining up the French star, 21, to replace Alexis Sanchez at the Emirates next season.

Arsenal will go in with an improved £35million bid for Thomas Lemar.

Alexandre Lacazette is also a target for Arsenal this summer. And boss Arsene Wenger is also closing in on a club record £57m move for Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette.

Monaco have rejected Arsenal's opening £28m bid but are giving serious consideration to their improved offer. Talks between the two clubs are continuing but no deal has been agreed.

But Arsenal's move for the left-sided attacking player confirms Wenger is becoming resigned to losing last season's top-scorer Sanchez.

The Chilean superstar has only one year left on his contract and has refused all of the club's efforts to get him to extend his stay, including a rumoured offer of £280,000 a week.

And while Wenger has repeatedly insisted that Sanchez will not be sold this summer, the club will not allow him to leave on a free next year.

Arsene Wenger seems to have given up on trying to keep Alexis Sanchez at Arsenal.

Lemar's value has soared after he helped Monaco to win the French title last season as well as reach the Champions League semi-finals.

He scored 14 goals and provided 17 assists on his way to winning his first call-up to the French senior team last year. Thomas Lemar has shot onto the scene for Monaco this season helping them to the Ligue 1 title.

Arsenal have already failed with a £28million bid for Thomas Lemar. And Wenger has decided that Lemar will be a better long-term investment than 26-year-old Riyad Mahrez, who has asked Leicester for a transfer but would cost Arsenal £40m.

Monaco have already sold Bernard Mendy to Manchester City for £43m this summer and are close to completing a £35m deal with Chelsea for Tiemoue Bakayoko.

They are also fighting off world record bids for striker Kylian Mbappe — from the Gunners among others — and are under no pressure to cash in on Lemar.

Alexis Sanchez could leave Arsenal for Bayern Munich in the summer. But Arsenal are confident of getting the deal completed despite their continuing interest in Lacazette.

Atletico Madrid made bids for both Lacazette and Lemar earlier this summer but were forced to end their interest when they were banned by Fifa from making any signings during this summer's transfer window.

At first we are creating center of our flower bu making roll and fold the cuff.

We can make with this technique flower from pickle as well. However, the ribbon is not long and we need to make many extensions.

The flower usually come out not pretty like flower from cucumber.

How to make feta meatballs - Duration: 0:54.

Give meatballs a tasty twist with some fabulous feta.

Combine 500 grams of lamb mince with two crushed garlic cloves,

two tablespoons of chopped coriander,

two teaspoons of ground cumin, two teaspoons of sumac

half a teaspoon of ground cinnamon, half a cup of panko breadcrumbs

and one lightly beaten egg.

Use a fork and then your hands to mix them together thoroughly.

Roll a small portion of the mixture into balls.

Push a cube of Greek style feta into each meatball and reshape to cover.

Heat a quarter of a cup of oil in a large frying pan.

Cook the meatballs for about 8 minutes, turning regularly until well browned all over.

Then cover the pan with a lid and cook for a further 5 minutes to cook through.

Meatballs: delicious with pasta, in wraps or simply served with a salad!

Kate Middleton has sparked third baby pregnancy rumours yet again.

At least, that's what brand new reports suggest.

If the latest reports are anything to go by, then it looks like the Duke and Duchess of

Cambridge are going to be parents again and are expanding their family by welcoming baby

number three.

It's been only five odd months since Kate and Prince William welcomed their daughter

Princess Charlotte, and now, the buzz is that the royal couple is all set to reveal the

secret about expanding family with an official statement, out to be soon.

They're expecting.

It happened far quicker than they expected they would just started trying for another

child.

But William and Kate are so excited," a source told Life & Style (via Hollywood Life).

The report said that Kate is in her early stages of pregnancy and is due to deliver

in June.

Well, it sounds believable because a few months ago, a similar report suggesting that Kate

was due to deliver the third baby sometime late April or early May, went viral on the

web.

"Friends are saying the baby will arrive around June.

They say Kate is at the very beginning of her pregnancy and won't show any sign of a

bump until next year.

She still looks extremely slim," the source claimed.

In fact, the Duchess of Cambridge, who is now in the news after attending her first

state banquet and flaunting her tiara, is showing other signs, including major food

cravings.

"She's having funny food cravings.

She's been eating very spicy curries and pizza with piles of chili flakes.

When she was expecting George and Charlotte, she developed the same taste for hot foods,"

the source shared.

The source further stated that the mother of two isn't suffering from any morning sickness

and is in fact glowing bright.

"So far, she's not feeling sick.

At the moment, she's glowing.

Kate does worry she will suffer from morning sickness again, but it wasn't as bad with

Charlotte as it was with George, so hopefully it will be less extreme this time," the source

added.

In the last couple of months, we have been reading various reports and heard rumours

about how Kate and Prince William have been contemplating to expand their family.

The buzz went wild, especially after the Duke in one of his interviews hinted that they

might consider bringing out a third royal baby.

Meanwhile, there were also reports that Kate too wants to have another baby before she

turns 35.

Many suggested that the Duchess was being desperate to have a third baby only to seek

Prince William's attention and to sort out issues in her marriage.

Well, now only an official statement will confirm this third pregnancy rumours and whether

Prince William and Kate Middleton are actually expanding their family.
