Hi everyone I'm Shelby. Without Medicaid I wouldn't be here today. Without
Medicaid I wouldn't have family. Without Medicaid I would be dead and I'm sorry
I'm emotional but it's the truth. A year ago on Memorial Day I decided
that I didn't want to live the life I was living,
abusing opioids it was a dark hole and I didn't know any other way to get out of
it and because um my doctor had said my mom was able to go to some of
these workshops he attend and kind of was able to help my mom help me into a
program near where we live and said "you know just trust me just though it's okay
we'll figure out insurance later you don't have to worry about it."
And it was so hard to let go the fact that I have been dependent on drugs from
the street for quite some time. Three years of my life I had given up and to
think that there was an out it was just it was like someone handing their hand
out to me and pulling me out of the hole and I went it on blind face. And here I
am a year later sober because of Medicaid and because of the resources
that Medicaid is able to provide for people like me I don't come here to tell
you guys a sob story or anybody else but if the bill goes through it's hard to
tell the next time you might see my name in any paper is going to be in the
obituary. I just can't express to anybody the
gratitude that I have for Medicaid because without Medicaid I
I wouldn't be here. And you know my family would still probably be suffering
just like I was. Thanks..wow Shelby you summarized an
hour's worth of senators in three minutes. You said it all Shelby and thank
you thank you for telling your powerful story because that's why we're fighting
and fighting for people like you all across the country.

Senator Van Hollen speaks at the People's Filibuster Rally - Duration: 3:29.
You know, Yogi Berra had some good advice when he said "it ain't over til it's
over."
We had a little bit of preliminary good news that they delayed the vote this week - but
that means that we've got to fight even harder over the Fourth of July and every day
until we bury this atrocious bill.
So I want to know, for all of you around the country - when your Senators go back to their
states, when they go to picnics and barbecues and parades - are all of you going to be there
to tell them to kill this terrible Bill?
You know, here's the thing: they call it a health care bill.
But I don't even like calling this thing a health care bill.
It has nothing to do with health care.
If it's a health care bill, why is it that not a single patient advocacy organization
supports this bill?
Not the American Cancer Society, Diabetes Association, Alzheimer's, Heart Disease
- you name it - there are pages, and pages of organizations that advocate every day for
better health in America, and they're all against it.
You know how many patient advocacy groups support this?
Zero.
None.
How about the providers, how about the doctors and the nurses and the hospitals that provide
health care in a network?
None of them are for it.
So, make no mistake this has never been about making healthcare better.
It's going to result in tens of millions of Americans losing access to affordable care.
It's going to mean women are denied access to the care that they need in every part of
this country.
And all for what?
All to give very wealthy Americans and special interests a big tax break.
That's what it's been all along.
You know, we keep looking at this Congressional Budget Office reports and I guess Republicans
somehow think the answer is going to change.
But Trumpcare 1 and Trumpcare 2 and Trumpcare 3 - the answer was the same every time.
The bill is rotten at its' core because it knocks so many of our fellow Americans
off of health care in order to provide millionaires with an average annual tax break of $50,000
a year.
And if that's not a rotten deal for America - I don't know what is.
And then the Senate bill plays a little game - they pretend on the one hand to help with
pre-existing conditions and turn right around and make everybody with pre-existing conditions
just as vulnerable as they were before the Affordable Care Act.
They pretend that premiums are going to go down, but when you actually read the fine
print, the reality is the overall cost for everybody - premiums, out of pocket, deductible
- they're going through the roof for everybody.
So, this is the moment of maximum danger and opportunity.
Mitch McConnell is going to be spending the next two weeks trying to round up the votes
to pass this legislation.
And we got to make sure we spend the next two weeks fighting harder than we ever have
before to make sure we stand up for health care in the United States of America.
Are you ready to do that?
Let's get to work, and I want to thank all of you very much for what you've done so
far.

How To Look 10 Years Younger With This Simple Ingredient. Here We Explain (Vaseline Uses) - Duration: 2:04.
-------------------------------------------
Here's What It Actually Takes to Be a NASA Astronaut - Duration: 3:59.
When NASA started recruiting for its first astronaut class in 1959, it had no idea what
it was looking for because it didn't know what was going to happen to the human body
in space.
Basically the agency needed people used to flying dangerous missions in untested vehicles
while giving real-time feedback to engineers… which pretty much narrowed the pool to test
pilots.
President Eisenhower stipulated that due to the potential top-secret nature of this endeavour,
they should be in the military.
And this led to the basic qualifications for the first batch of astronauts.
Military pilots who'd graduated from a test pilot school holding a bachelor's of engineering
with at least 1,500 hours flying jets under their belts.
And we ended up with these guys: three Navy pilots, three air force pilots, and one marine
pilot all with the flight time and bachelor's degrees.
This was basically the way things went until 1964 when NASA shifted to reward academic
merits, looking at PhDs instead of flight time.
The fourth group was the first of scientist-astronauts.
Two were qualified civilians and the others had military backgrounds.
NASA's needs were changing.
With long-duration lunar missions and even longer space station flights in the works,
the agency was starting to need real scientists in space.
During the Apollo-era, untested and new was the name game and the crews were just three
men so each astronaut had to do everything -- be a test pilot, an engineer, a scientist...
But with the pending beginning of the shuttle program, crews were larger, missions were
longer, and the technology was designed to be reused so it would become familiar over
time.
This meant NASA could look at astronauts not as jacks of all trades but specialists.
Some would fly the shuttle and others would have specific roles on missions.
To this end, incoming classes of astronauts didn't divide people by type.
They took all types under one umbrella: pilots and what NASA called mission specialists.
And that's still what NASA does when recruiting, though occasionally there are payload specialist
who are trained for a specific flights.
But this doesn't mean there aren't strict criteria for astronaut hopefuls of either
type.
The current base requirements from NASA say candidates need to hold a bachelor's degree
in science or math and have at least some jet experience under their belt.
They have to be able to pass a physical exam, have at least 20/20 vision, blood pressure
below 140/90 at rest, and stand between 5 foot 2 and 6 foot 3.
From there, the special skills are taught, things like military water survival, SCUBA
in anticipation of spacewalks, and specific training for their individual mission.
Since 1959, NASA has had some 350 American men and women join its astronaut corps.
They've done a combined 306 spacewalks over 150 missions.
And new groups aren't recruited regularly.
NASA brings in astronauts on an as-needed basis.
So with all that you might think that astronauts are a highly skilled trade and paid as such,
right?
Not exactly.
Job openings for astronauts are announced online at USAJOBS, the site for US civil service
positions alongside listings for aviation safety inspector, internal revenue agent,
dental officer for the prison system, and food inspector.
And the pay is equivalent.
That means the annual salary can be anywhere between 50 and 114 thousand dollars.
The qualifications for astronauts have loosened but haven't changed all that much since
1959.
The latest class of 12 astronauts has three recruits from the Navy, one Marine, one from
the Air Force, and one from the Army.
The other six are civilians.
All have bachelor's degrees and five have doctorates.
And only six among them already have flight experience.
So flying in space is awesome and badass, but it's not glamorous and you kinda gotta
be a badass nerd to do it.

Numb Fingers After Waking Up?! Here's Why! - Duration: 2:39.
Hey guys, Manuel here from Tykato Fitness.
Today i'm talking about numbness in your fingers when you wake up after training.
And this is because you have weak extensors.
Now take this with a grain of salt because numbness in fingers can mean a lot of things
and please consult your doctor when you feel pain or weird nerve tinglings.
Okay?
The thing is, most of you train their flexors, which are the muscles on the downside - on
the palmside of your hand - where you grab things.
Those are the flexors.
They close your hand to grab stuff.
Okay?
Do these deadlifts, and pull ups and rows and barbell training.
All this trains your flexors.
But the hand openers, the extensors on the back of your hand - these muscles that open
your hands are weak.
Now, the hand has a normal flexion so when you sleep it's kinda like this.
But if you train a lot of your flexors it's more like this and your hand is like this
all the time.
And the flexor muscles that run through the wrist here - they can impinge the nerve.
They are so tight and so well trained that they impinge the nerve because they are so
flexed all night - because there is no extensor force.
Passive extensor muscle force that draws them back into a natural hand position.
So because your hand is like this all night, or like this, it starts to hurt and impinge
the nerve.
Now the way to get rid of this is: train your extensors so you get back to a normal hand
flexion.
And to train your extensors, you need extensor bands for example.
Like these.
Put them around your fingers and open them against the resistance.
These come in different strengths, or weight ranges.
So you can buy these on amazon.
You could also do rice bucket training where you put your hand in a rice bucket and open
it against the rice resistance.
Also climbing is a very good way to train your extensors.
Also Fat Gripz work your extensors because you have a very open hand.
This is the way to train this, to get rid of this.
Do a lot of extensor training.
You can find other videos about extensors on my channel.
I hope this answers your question about why you might wake up with a numb hand after training.
Please give this video a thumbs up and we'll see each other next time on Tykato Fitness. Goodbye!

WHAT RUSSIA DID TO HELP THE COUNTRY PREPARE FOR WHEN THEY
MAY DO THIS AGAIN, TO DEVELOP A NATIONAL CONSENSUS THAT NO
MATTER WHO IS HELPS OR WHO IT HURTS BOTH PARTIES WILL REJECT

WHEN THEY DID IT THE FOLLOWING MONTH IN OCTOBER BEFORE THE
ELECTION IT WASN'T ENOUGH TO IMPRESS UPON THE PUBLIC THE
SERIOUSNESS OF WHAT RUSSIA WAS DOING AND I THINK THEY DID THAT

SUCCESSFULLY. THEY DID MAKE ATTRIBUTION BUT
ONLY IN A WRITTEN STATEMENT BY TWO ADMINISTRATION OFFICIALS,
THE HEAD OF THE OFFICE OF NATIONAL INTELLIGENCE AS WELL AS
THE SECRETARY OF DHS, BUT YOU'RE ABSOLUTELY RIGHT.
I THINK THAT THE AMERICAN PUBLIC'S NEED TO KNOW OUTWEIGHED
THOSE OTHER CONSIDERATIONS, ALL OF WHICH COULD HAVE BEEN MANAGED
BUT THE MOST IMPORTANT THING WAS NOT TO WAIT UNTIL AFTER THE
ELECTION TO TELL THE AMERICAN PEOPLE WHAT A FOREIGN POWER WAS
TRYING TO DO, AND AS WELL TO TAKE STEPS TO DETER FURTHER
INTERFERENCE DURING THE CAMPAIGN, BECAUSE ONE OF THE
OTHER CONCERNS THAT I HAD WAS THAT, IN THE ABSENCE OF A MORE
FORCEFUL RESPONSE AND IN THE ABSENCE OF ATTRIBUTION, THEY
WERE GIVING A GREEN LIGHT TO CONTINUED RUSSIAN INTERVENTION.
>> KASIE HUNT HAS A QUESTION. KASIE?
>> CONGRESSMAN, YOU HEARD FROM JOHN PODESTA YESTERDAY.

THAT. DID YOU LEARN ANY VALUABLE FROM
MR. OWE DES TA AND WHAT DO YOU HOPE TO LEARN FROM ROGER STONE

BRING JOHN PODESTA IN. PART OF OUR MISSION IS NOT ONLY
TO DETERMINE WHAT THE RUSSIANS DID AND WHETHER THE RUSSIANS HAD
THE HELP OF ANY U.S. PERSONS, BUT ALSO WHAT WAS THE U.S.
GOVERNMENT RESPONSE? HOW DID THEY RESPOND, HOW DID
THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THE FBI, THE DEPARTMENT OF HOMELAND
SECURITY RESPOND WHEN WE LEARNED THE RUSSIANS WERE IN OUR
COMPUTERS? HOW DID THEY RESPOND WHEN JOHN

THIS WAS OBVIOUSLY WENT TO THE CORE OF OUR DEMOCRATIC PROCESS,
AND WE NEED TO LEARN BECAUSE AS JAMES COMEY SAID, THE RUSSIANS
WILL BE BACK OR MORE ACCURATELY IN MY VIEW, THE RUSSIANS HAVE
NEVER LEFT. SO I THINK HIS TESTIMONY WAS
HELPFUL, WAS IMPORTANT. WE SHOULD NOT BE AFRAID TO FIND
OUT THE ANSWERS TO ANY OF THESE QUESTIONS, AND THIS IS I THINK A
CORE AREA OF OUR INTEREST. IN TERMS OF MR. STONE, OBVIOUSLY
THERE'S BEEN A LOT SAID IN THE PUBLIC SPHERE.
I DON'T WANT TO GET INTO TOO MUCH DETAIL ABOUT IT, BUT YOU
KNOW, HE HAS SAID AT VARIOUS TIMES THAT HE WAS IN CONTACT
WITH JULIAN ASSANGE, THAT HE HAD DIRECT TWITTER COMMUNICATIONS
WITH GOOSER FOR TWO, THIS KNOWN CUTOUT FOR RUSSIAN INTELLIGENCE
AND OF COURSE HE MADE THOSE STATEMENTS THAT JOHN PODESTA'S
