In military battle, tanks are needed to support infantry by moving into combat zones, with
troops protected in near-impenetrable moving vehicles while also able to return enemy fire.
Since their inception, tanks are becoming tougher, faster, and more easily able to damage
the weapons that penetrate – or attempt to penetrate -- them.
We thought it would be interesting to compare Britain and Germany's main battle tanks
In this episode of The Infographics Show, the Challenger 2, vs the Leopard 2.

Notification Squad.
For the most advanced tanks, breaking down superiority isn't as simple as speed or
size.
The English Challenger 2, for example, is not the fastest.
However, driving through rough terrain, on which its top speed is just 25 mph (40 kph),
its suspension ensures the stability that allows it to fire accurately.
Both the Leopard and the Challenger will continue to improve in design, with iterations developed
out of teachable moments on the battlefield.
What does each have and when were they first used?
Let's start with Germany's Leopard 2.
It has been in service since the 1980s, and the various iterations of the top-performing
standard are central to NATO's work.
In total, there are 11 versions of the Leopard 2.
All models of the Leopard have the Rhinemetall 120mm gun as a main gun plus 2 machine guns,
sighting equipment, advanced night vision, and the ability to engage moving targets while
driving on rough terrain.
More recently, the tanks also include a longer smoothbore gun, an auxiliary engine, improved
mine protection, and an air-conditioning system.
If you're a real military and arms policy wonk, you might have heard of the Leopard
in the news in 2013, when Germany's plans to sell Leopards to Qatar became an election
issue used to criticize Chancellor Angela Merkel.
Two years earlier, public outcry halted plans by Saudi Arabia to buy 200 Leopards.
The Leopard 2 is the German military's main battle tank, developed as an improvement upon
the Leopard 1, which was partly engineered by Porsche.
Yes, that Porsche.
Fun fact: the luxury carmaker also generates military design and technology.
The tank was engineered to section the hull in three parts: a front driving compartment,
a middle section for fighting, and the engine in the rear.
Designed for high visibility for the four-member crew, the Leopard 2 features three periscopes
and a television monitor to help with reverse driving, a kind of backup assist.
It can also operate in 4 feet (1.2 meters) of water without preparation, and up to 13
feet (4 meters) with preparation.
The compartmentalized design moves potential sources of fire or explosions away from the
crew.
The Leopard 2 is also equipped with protection in the event of a nuclear, chemical, or biological
attack, and it has an all-digital fire control system.
Sold to NATO-friendly armies, it is now used by Austria, Canada, Chile, Denmark, Finland,
Greece, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Singapore, Switzerland, Sweden, Spain and Turkey, in
addition to Germany.
Also designed for a four-person crew, the Challenger 2 is the British military's main
battle tank.
The British Army notes "Only five percent of Challenger 2 components are interchangeable
with its predecessor, which has had more than 150 major modifications including a completely
new turret, L30 CHARM 120mm gun, and second generation Chobham armor."
Chobham armor is a proprietary and classified form of ceramic named for the British tank
research center in Chobham Common where it was developed.
Chobham armor is resistant against a shaped charge – meaning an explosive whose intensity
can be focused in one area - and can actually damage attempted penetrators, effectively
weakening the enemy even when on the receiving end of an attack.
It is also on the Abrams, featured in our other video, M1A2 Abrams vs T-90S.
Okay, time for the super nitty gritty.
The Leopard 2 goes 44 mph (72 kilometers per hour) on road and 28 mph (45 kilometers per
hour) off road.
Meanwhile, the Challenger goes 39 mph (59 kilometers per hour) on road and 25 mph (40
kilometers per hour) off.
But as we mentioned at the top of the video, the suspension allows stability in rough terrain,
which in turn allows precise shooting.
The Challenger also makes up for lower speed with higher fuel capacity, with a 421-gallon
tank and combat fuel consumption of 6.4 liters per kilometer compared to the Leopard's
314 gallons and 5 liters per kilometer consumption.
The Challenger also edges the Leopard in turret rotation time, making a full 360 degrees in
9 seconds while the Leopard requires 10.
But the Leopard can vertically climb 3.6 ft (1.1-meter) obstacles, and pass a 9.8 ft (3-meter)
trench while the Challenger can climb just 3 ft (.9-meter) verticals and pass a 7.6 ft
(2.34-meter) trench.
So what's next?
Germany is reportedly working on a Leopard 3 as of 2016, and it will be an answer to
Russia's next-generation T-14 Armata.
Also in 2016, Britain issued a request for proposals for improvements upon the Challenger,
with Challenger 2 builder BAE Systems and that firm's two UK rivals General Dynamics
and Lockheed Martin preparing to jockey for the contract on such a marquee product.
At the time this news surfaced, Leopard manufacturer KMW had expressed interest in bidding, but
had not yet formally joined the procurement process to potentially set up a rivalry between
two of its products.
So, which of the 2 tanks do you think is better?
Let us know in the comments.

Which Colleges Give You the Best Value for Your Money? - Duration: 11:22.
Higher education is one of the most expensive investments you will ever make, and probably
the most important one.
So, be sure to ask the right question when deciding your future – Which college will
give me the best value for my money?
As this map shows, it's not necessarily the biggest, coolest, or most elitist school
in your state.
The cost of college is rising, but that is not deterring young Americans from pursuing
higher education in ever greater numbers.
The most recent data from the National Center for Education Statistics shows that no less
than 28.3% of 18- to 24-year-olds were enrolled in four-year higher education courses.
That is the second-highest enrollment rate ever, slightly lower than the top enrollment
of 30% in 2011.
Apart from that downward blip, the trend has historically been upwards, from 17% in 1974
to 21.5% in 1988 and 26% in 2000.
All of this is despite the fact that the total cost of a four-year higher education course
– tuition, fees, lodging – over the past 10 years has increased by 37% to $20,000 per
year for students at public colleges and universities, and by 25% to $44,000 per annum for students
at private institutions, writes Forbes.
Consequently, as shown earlier on HowMuch, U.S. student debt has hit a record high, with
the national average recently crossing the $30,000 threshold for the first time.
Collectively, U.S. student debt now amounts to $1.2 trillion – about double the annual
U.S. defense budget.
As the mountain of money needed to get a degree gets taller every year, one may wonder whether
college is worth it at all.
However, that is the wrong question; Forbes Magazine chose to look at the issue with the
rational, calculating detachment of an investor.
Together with the Center for College Affordability and Productivity, it devised a formula to
determine which colleges and universities give you the most educational bang for your
buck.
The formula adds up five criteria: the quality of the education (35%; based on Forbes own
Top Colleges ranking), the dropout risk (15%; as reported by the Integrated Postsecondary
Education Data System), the graduation success (15%; also IPEDS), post-graduate earnings
(25%; mid-career, based on PayScale and the U.S. DoE College Scorecard), and the value
added by the particular education (10%; as formulated by the Brookings Institution).
This value is weighed against the tuition fees for each institution – i.e. not including
room and board.
Excluded from the exercise were the five U.S. service academies (e.g. West Point) that charge
little or no tuition, instead requiring graduates to complete a minimum tour of duty.
The result?
One might expect the Ivy League institutions to dominate the list, but that would be confusing
elite with best-value.
In fact, the Top 10 of Best-Value Colleges is based more in the West Coast instead of
East Coast, counts more public than private schools, and is more oriented towards STEM
subjects (science, technology, engineering, mathematics).
Top 10 best-value colleges (annual tuition)
1.
University of California, Berkeley CA ($12,972)
2.
University of California, Los Angeles CA ($12,705)

Keeping in mind that public institutions charge higher fees for out of state students, which
are the best-value institutions per state?
Excluding the institutions mentioned above, the list below matches the map, but also indicates
the overall ranking of each state's top institution.
If you state is not represented, it had no institution in the Top 300 as compiled by
Forbes and the CCAP.

The University of Arkansas, Little Rock AR ($8,210)
Check this map against the complete Forbes Top 300 of best-value colleges, and see how
high tuition fees don't necessarily mean you are getting the best value for your money.
Take Florida, for example, where the University of Florida in Gainesville (annual tuition:
$6,313) gives you the most bang for your buck, and not the University of Miami, with a tuition
fee seven times higher, at $44,350.
The inverse can also be true: Duke is the most expensive institution in North Carolina,
and of all six listed in the Forbes Top 300, also the one delivering the best return on
investment.
Ranking colleges and universities for value rather than for quality is an interesting,
complex and sometimes counter-intuitive exercise.
And one that could teach you a very valuable lesson indeed.

Which fats are healthy? - Duration: 11:33.
Welcome to session two of the Healthy Eating Made Easy Series. In the session
you will learn the facts on fat; the good, the bad, and the ugly. In this session you
will learn what are healthy and unhealthy fats. Benefits of choosing
healthy cooking oils and the steps you can take to put these recommendations
into day-to-day practice. As well as independence member resources. Let's get
started. Most foods contain several different kinds of dietary fat and some
are better for your health then others. You don't need to completely eliminate
all fat from your diet. In fact some fats actually help promote
good health. Let's take a look at the benefits of healthy fats, versus the
risks of harmful fats. The types of healthy fat are unsaturated fats,
commonly known as polyunsaturated and monounsaturated. Research has shown the
health benefits of limiting unhealthy fats and incorporating healthy
monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats into your diet has the potential to
decrease heart disease which is America single biggest killer. Unsaturated fats
can improve neurologic and mental health, can boost metabolism, reduce cancer and
diabetes risks ,and reduces inflammation in the body. There are two main types of
potentially harmful dietary fat, saturated fat and trans fat trans. Fat
and saturated fat are unhealthy fats that contribute to disease. Research
shows the health risks of consuming too much unhealthy fats can elevate LDL, bad
cholesterol, lower HDL, good cholesterol, can elevate triglycerides, another type
of fat in the bloo,d promotes inflammation in the body, and promotes
insulin resistance. So as you can see saturated and trans fat do the complete
opposite of the good mono and polyunsaturated fats. So let's learn more
about these not-so-good fats. Trans fats represent the unhealthiest ingredient in
our food supply. Think of them as the food equivalent of tobacco, zero
tolerance policy is best when it comes to trans fats.
Trans fats are products of modern food technology. They are man-made fats that
form when liquid vegetable oils are hydrated to create a fat that is more
solid at room temperature. What makes trans fat so threatening is
their ability to wreak metabolic havoc throughout your body, especially within
your arteries. In fact trans fats provide a quadruple insult to your arteries,
dramatically increasing your risk of cardiovascular disease. These ugly fats
increase the risk of insulin resistance which is a condition that puts one in a
stubborn state of weight gain, while increasing the risk of type 2 diabetes,
and heart disease and provoke inflammation in the arteries. The good
news is it's actually very easy to rid your diet of trans fats and it is simple
to do once you know where they are. Lurking this man-made fat is found in
three basic categories. Processed foods that contain hydrogenated and partially
hydrogenated oils. Simply refer to the Nutrition Facts label and all processed
foods and check for grams of trans fat if there is any number listed other than
zero get rid of it before you get hurt. Stick margarine. Always choose trans
fat-free margarine spreads as an alternative to stick margarine. If you
shortening like Crisco try to find another alternative foods most likely to
contain trans fats include processed foods such as baked goods like cakes and
cookies crackers, fried fast foods, chips and popcorn. Saturated fat is another
unhealthy fat unlike trans fat which should be
completely avoided saturated fats need to be limited but not 100%. Restricted it
is clearly established that excessive consumption of saturated fats increases
your risk of cardiovascular disease, along with several other nasty
conditions like insulin resistance, type-2 diabetes, and some cancers.
Saturated fat has been shown to increase bad cholesterol, and impair the function
of HDL, your good cholesterol. It's easy to remember we're saturated fats are
found. Just think four legs fats. SATs and animals are mostly of the
saturated type. Think cows, pigs, and sheep. Whole dairy products such as whole milk,
full fat cheese's, cream cheese and butter. Now that we cleared your mouths
of the unhealthy fats, we can replace them with the healthy ones. The types of
potentially helpful dietary fat are mostly unsaturated. There are a variety
of health benefits gained by including healthy fats in your diet. Studies show
that eating foods rich in monounsaturated fats improves blood
cholesterol levels by helping to lower LDL, bad cholesterol and elevating HDL
good cholesterol, which can decrease your risk of heart disease. Research also
shows that monounsaturated fat may decrease blood clotting and may benefit
insulin levels and blood sugar control which can be especially helpful if you
have type 2 diabetes. Monounsaturated fats or plant-based fat that remain
liquid at room temperature, think of extra-virgin olive oil versus
butter. Some examples of monounsaturated fats are extra-virgin olive oil ,canola
oil, nuts, seeds, and avocados. Polyunsaturated fat is a type of fat
found mostly in plant-based foods and oils, evidence shows that eating foods
rich in polyunsaturated fats improves blood glucose levels which can decrease
your risk of heart disease. Polyunsaturated fat may also help
decrease the risk of type 2 diabetes.
Omega-3 fats are especially beneficial for your heart. Omega-3 which is found in
some types of fatty fish such as salmon and tuna appears to decrease the risk of
coronary artery disease, it may also protect against irregular heartbeat,s and
help lower blood pressure levels. There are plant sources of omega-3s however
the body does convert it and use it as well as Omega threes from fish. Some
examples of plant-based omega-3s are walnuts, flax seeds, whole soy foods and
small leafy greens such as spinach arugula and watercress.
Extra-virgin olive oil is a healthiest oil you can eat. It is the highest
concentration of heart-healthy monounsaturated fatty acids and is
packed with beneficial plant compounds called poly phenols which are potent
antioxidant and anti-inflammatory compounds. Poly phenols can help fight
cancer, lower blood pressure, relief pain and prevent blood clots. Extra-virgin
signifies that the oil has been obtained through gentle pressing of olives as
opposed to heat and chemical extraction. This process preserves its rich supply
of polyphenols. Use extra virgin olive oil in food prepared or served cold at
room temperature or with low heat like pans. Obtain extra virgin olive oil has a
relatively high smoke point which means that if it is exposed to high heat like
grilling, frying, broiling, fatty acids become oxidized and transform into
highly reactive toxic molecules called free radicals. Canola oil the other mono
unsaturated oil is relatively tasteless oil derived from rapeseed.
Canola oil provides a nice dose of omega-3 fats along with monounsaturated
fats. So Canola oil is best for dishes in which the high
flavor of extra-virgin olive oil is not desired for baking, and high heat cooking.
It's best to use refined also known as high heat canola, as standard canola oil
has a lower smoke point and will oxidize readily when exposed to higher
temperatures just as olive oil does although coconut oil is a heavily
saturated fat it is an obvious exception to the saturated fat four-legged animal.
Rule studies have indicated that coconut oil may actually have beneficial effects
on blood fat. Coconut and coconut oil can be included in moderation if you like it.
Enjoy shredded coconut in your granola or coconut milk in your Indian cuisine.
Coconut oil stands up to very high heat so it's great for frying nuts, provide
healthy vegetable protein, a rich supply of minerals antioxidants, fiber and
cholesterol-lowering phytosterols. Studies show that consuming a small
handful about one ounce of five or more days a week can reduce the
risk of death from cardiovascular disease by 30 to 50 percent. You can
choose from a variety of nutritious and tasty nuts including cashews, walnuts,
pecans, hazelnuts, almonds, Brazil nuts, macadamias, pistachios and chestnuts .Have
them as your standard 3 p.m. snack .Throw them into your salad. Top your oatmeal or
morning cereal with a few, or sprays your whole grade bagel with almond butter
like nuts. Seeds provide a comprehensive and dense package of health boosting
nutrients and heart-healthy fats. Pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, sesame seeds and
flax seeds, can enhance the flavor of your meals or stand alone as a tasty
snack. Any oils derived from both nuts and seeds offer similar health benefits.
Cooking with sesame seed oil ,walnut oil and the like are not only healthy but
can also add interesting flavour to your dishes. Sesame seed oil and grapeseed oil
are great for high heat cooking like stir frying. Most nutrition experts
recommend 500 milligrams to a thousand milligrams of omega-3 fats, DHA and EPA
daily. If you eat three to four servings of oily fish a week along with a few
omega-3 eggs you should easily meet this recommendation. if this is difficult or
impossible for you to do fish oil or algae base DHA supplements is a
convenient option for those who are allergic to fish algae based. DHA
supplements like life's brand are the best option. Now that you know the facts
on fat here is a strategy to help you incorporate all the necessary steps
required for success. Strictly avoiding trans fats particularly hydrogenated
oils and processed and fried fast foods, stick margarine and shortening minimize
saturated fat by limiting red meat to two servings or less per week. Use butter
sparingly and consume the majority of your fats from the mono unsaturated oils
like extra-virgin olive oil, canola oil, nuts seeds and avocados. Strive to have a
serving of omega-3 fats daily ,oily fish like
salmon, tuna, mackerel ,herring, and sardines. Walnuts, canola oil, flax seeds,
eggs, wheat germ ,and leafy greens like arugula and watercress. Thank you for
participating in Session two of the Healthy Eating Made Easy series. Here's a
list of resources for independence members.

Which Word Did You See First? This Fact Can Reveal Much About Your Psychology
Which Word Did You See First? This Fact Can Reveal Much About Your Psychology We at Bright Side just love quizzes and tests that you can do without spending too much time on.
That's why we put together the following one, which is short yet highly revealing.
All you need to do is take a quick look at the following image.
The first word that your eyes find describes who you are and also what worries you at the present moment.
What does your word say about you? Lion — You're the person who inspires others to move forward.
Although you have moments of deep sadness, everyone knows you as an optimist in your heart.
Your greatest weakness is in sometimes overestimating your abilities.
Fruit — You love people and are always ready to help.
This aspect of your character can sometimes be a source of trouble for you, since it encourages others to sometimes take advantage of your kind heart.
At present, your life feels harmonious.
Coffee — You enjoy fantasies.
The chances are you're the kind of person who loves to draw, paint, or engage in a similar form of creativity.
However, you lack self-confidence and look to others to support you.
You're inclined to depression and often find yourself in a bad mood.
Rainbow — You love everything to be in its place, and you don't feel comfortable with change.
People know you to be a kind, calm, confident person whom they can rely on.
Nature — You're an honest and straight-talking person.
Directness is, of course, a good quality, but it may be worth being more careful — many people find it difficult to deal with.
Sometimes, you find it very difficult to make decisions and agonize over the different options available.
Explorer — Your opinion of yourself is unjustifiably negative, and you think too much about how others view you.
Try to be more independent, and you'll see your self-estimation rise.
Most likely, you're quite pessimistic, or perhaps you simply took the quiz when you were in a bad mood.
Root — You're inclined to underestimate your own abilities.
However, you often have the ability to influence others without even realizing it.
The chances are your hobbies are connected with tourism or nature.
Depths — You're used to getting what you want, and you have the ability to see the essence of things.
It's for these reasons that some people consider you a dangerous individual.
But, deep inside, you're a soft, kind person.
Silk — You're not searching for easy paths.
You're the kind of person who develops new ideas and brings innovation to our lives — you might even be an inventor.
But it's probably worth setting aside more time for relaxation and focusing your attention on those close to you.
We'd love to hear your views on this….

Which concealer is best for under eye dark circles?! Mature Beauty - Duration: 20:26.
Hi guys welcome back.
Today I want to talk about concealer.
And if you are watching my channel I'm going to guess that you have probably watched other
beauty and makeup channels as well.
And have you ever noticed that these girls, women that talk about concealer and how they
cover these bags under their eyes and how to put on the concealer that they don't have
any bags under their eyes to begin with.
I'm watching a 17 year old teach me how to put on concealer to cover the dark circles
and her skin is flawless.
I have dark circles.
I have bags.
So I thought to myself I'm going to make a video about how to cover the dark circles
and the bags under your eyes.
So if this is something you wanna watch I hope you'll stick around.
If you've been here before welcome back I'm so glad you're here and if you're new I hope
you'll stick around hit that subscribe button down below and we're going to talk about concealer.
So today I have a few things I want to try.
This first one is something that I have seen going around everywhere, Pinterest, YouTube
and it is the red lipstick to cover dark circles under your eyes concealer trick.
I don't see how it can work, I don't really understand it.
But we're going to try it.
And then I've also got the yellow concealer stick to cover the circles under your eye.
This one I kind of understand.
If you're looking at a color wheel the dark purple under your eye from your bags would
be opposite yellow on the color wheel.
So that one to me kind of makes sense.
The yellow should cover the purple, counteract it, cancel it.
So we're going to try that.
And then let's see the third thing I have is a peach one which again is kind of like
the yellow if you look on the color wheel the peach is going to be opposite the blues
and the dark blue under your eye so again this is another color correcting type concealer.
And then what I think I'm going to do to test these out since I don't have this many eyes
is I'm going to do one side of my face with just a regular concealer and then the other
half I will try these little concealer tricks on and we'll compare them one by one and see
how they stand up to just good old concealer under the eye.
So if this sounds like something you want to see stick around I'm going to go take off
my makeup and we'll get ready to start.
Alright guys I'm back and as you can see I have washed off the makeup under my eye.
So let's go in first on the left side that will be out control eye and we will do just
a regular concealer underneath it.
I'm going to use a drugstore concealer I'm not gonna use a high end one.
Ok I'm going to use this Maybelline Fit Me concealer and this is the shade 20 Sand.
So what I'm going to do as you can see I definitely have bags under my eyes.
When I smile you can really see the pronounced and what's really sad is that actually my
bags are getting better I think they use to be a lot worse than this.
But oh well we're going to cover them up.
On my left eye I'm just going to take some of the Maybelline Fit Me concealer and I'm
just going to dot it just where the dark circle is under my eye.
And then I will use a beauty blender to blend it in.
Ok that is just one coat of the concealer.
So I mean it did a pretty good job of covering up the circles and the color.
It's not perfect but my bags are bad.
Now I'm just going to take some translucent loose powder and just set that concealer under
the eye to help prevent creasing and help it to last.
Alright so now we have one eye with concealer and one eye with nothing.
Alright I'm going to save the red lipstick for last cause I have a bad feeling this will
probably do some staining and I'm going to need to be able to wash off between each one
of these so we can see the differences so we'll save it for last.
Let's just start, let's start with the peach.
And this is Wet N Wild's Mega Cushion for dark circles.
And it's just a little jar.
I can't remember, this was probably about $3 or $4.
I don't think they have anything that's over $5.
You open it up and it does have a little sponge in here and then it's got a little lid and
then it's just a little sponge inside and I'm just going to take my ring finger, always
use your ring finger.
It'll apply the least amount of pressure under your eye and if you've already got all the
dark circles you don't wanna be bruising up under there.
So I'm just dipping my finger into the sponge and then I am going to lightly pat it.
Hope you guys can see this, under my eye.
Now it doesn't look too peach to be honest to me.
I don't know what it's showing up like in the lighting in the camera but to me it just
looks like a very light concealer.
So I'm going to go ahead and same thing take a beauty blender and let's blend that out.
It blended very quickly and easily.
Alright so that's it without any concealer on it.
I am going to go ahead and put on concealer over it now though.
I'm assuming that is how it would be worn, under concealer not really as a concealer.
So I will go in now with the concealer on top of the peach
and then we'll blend that in.
And set it with the powder.
Alright so what do you think?
We've got just the concealer on this side and on this side we've got the peach correcting
cream with the concealer over it.
I might notice a slight difference actually in the peach side.
I am seeing a little bit more darkness down here than I am on this side I think.
I don't know.
You guys tell me in the comments down below what you think.
Alright I'm going to go ahead and wash this peach side off and we'll try the next one.
Alright so I have washed the makeup off this side of my face again and this time we will
go in with the yellow corrector stick.
This is the Maybelline Cover Stick Corrector Concealer and it is in the shade yellow.
So let's see how hard is this, yeah.
I don't wanna apply a lot of pressure, this feels a little stiff and I don't want to apply
a lot of pressure to my under eye so I'm actually going to take like a concealer brush, I'm
going to just paint it with the yellow concealer stick which again it doesn't look very yellow
to me.
But we'll see.
I think I've got some on there.
Oh yeah.
Yeah.
Got some on there.
Alright now I definitely see the yellow in it.
Definitely see the yellow in it now that it's on my skin.
And I got way more than I realized I got too.
Foundation brush worked real well for that.
So I will go ahead and blend that out.
I don't know how I ever lived without these in my life.
I remember when they first became like a craze and I was like why do you need that, I just
use my hands.
And now I just don't know how I ever lived without it.
Okay so first impressions without the concealer umm I mean yeah it covered some color.
It's nothing I could wear without concealer.
I don't know let's put on some concealer and see.
Alright.
So here we have the yellow concealer stick and the concealer on top of it.
You know again I think it actually did do a little bit better job than just the concealer
alone.
I don't know if it did enough of a better job to make it worth my time you know if I'm
getting ready for work in the morning and I just want to slap some concealer on and
not go through a whole process.
I don't know guys.
Tell me what you think down below cause I really can't tell.
So hmm interesting.
Ok I'm going to take this off and I'll be right back again.
Alright guys I'm back again.
I decided when I was taking off this makeup this last time that I wanted to do one more
test that I hadn't planned on.
And that is I want to see how my drugstore Maybelline Fit Me concealer stacks up against
the Estée Lauder Double Wear concealer.
The Fit Me I want to say I paid like $5.97 for, I think.
And I know I paid $26.00 for the Estée Lauder so more than 4 times the price.
So I'm kinda curious and I want to do a side by side since we're already here and we're
already doing this.
So let's see how this one does.
So this is the Estée Lauder Double Wear and this is in Light-Medium and I'm just going
to put it directly onto the dark circle.
And blend it out.
I really hope I am editing through all this blending for you guys and super speeding it
so you're not having to watch 30 minutes of me just blending concealers cause that would
really suck for you.
And I know my eye is starting to hurt.
If I didn't have dark circles under my eyes before this I certainly will now because it
feels like I'm just bruising it by all this scrubbing the makeup off then putting more
makeup on then scrubbing it off.
But anyway alright go in with the powder and set it.
And there you go.
We've got Maybelline Fit Me $6 on this side and Estée Lauder $26 on this side.
Can you tell the difference?
Let me see.
Actually I really can tell a difference.
I do think this side looks better.
And I'm not just saying that because I would be broken if I spent all the money for nothing
but I really do think that this side does look better.
I can see more definition of the circle right here, definitely.
I mean this is, Maybelline is still a good concealer.
I do think this side is better.
If I'm wrong let me know below.
If I can save that kind of money, if this one looks better you let me know.
Give me your thoughts and opinions.
Alright I'm going to take this one off, the last time when I come back we're going to
try the red lipstick and see what this craze is all about so I'll be right back.
Alright guys I'm back and here we go.
I have a red lipstick this is from Ulta Beauty so I'm telling you I'm a little nervous about
this and this is red.
So I am going to try to very carefully just get this on the dark circles.
I really don't want bright red lipstick all over my face.
How does this work?
I don't understand it.
I guess I need to do some research it just doesn't make sense to me because the red shouldn't
counteract, I don't get it.
Red is opposite green on the color wheel, I don't know.
Somebody tell me, somebody smart explain this to me.
Tell me down below.
Okay.
Hmm.
I don't even know what to say, I don't have words umm.
Does it appear to be covering the dark circles?
To me it doesn't but maybe it's just cause you're so distracted by the bright red all
over my face that you can no longer see the dark circles.
I don't know.
We're going to go in with some concealer now and see what that does.
I have to say I don't have high hopes for this trick.
But I'm going to try so here I go.
This is the Maybelline Fit Me concealer.
Taking it a little further our than I did the other ones cause the red seemed to smear
a lot as I was blending it and now there's red on my beauty blender and I don't want
to use that but I would have to go grab another one so I'm just going to try to use a different
side of it.
Alright well first impressions are I don't know that it did anything at all for
my bags.
Let me put a little more concealer on there maybe it just needs a little more help.
I will have used up an entire bottle of concealer by the time this test is done.
Alright let's put some powder on it and call it a day.
I could be here all day I think.
My eyeshadow has moved from like here all the way up to here.
Every time I was my face and then powder it and blend it the eyeshadow gets moved off
a little bit more.
Alright so here we are and on one side we have just the Maybelline Fit Me and on the
other side we have the red lipstick.
It actually did cover the dark circle a little bit I don't know if it's better or not than
this side but even if it did and it is it's not worth it.
I mean it's not any kind of miracle oh my God erase your dark circles.
No and I felt like it took so much work then to cover it and it spread.
And my whole face was just pink, I mean yeah it covered some darkness it did cover.
I definitely feel like I have more here but is it worth it?
To me no.
So overall the yellow, the peach, the red.
I don't, I think I'm just.
I don't think I spend enough time on makeup on a normal day to day I gotta get up and
go to work that I'm going to bother with all that.
I'm going to slap some concealer on there and go to work.
I have bags under my eyes.
Now if I'm going somewhere where I want to try to put a little bit more effort into how
I look or I'm going to do a photo shoot or something like that then yeah I'm going to
take the time and I would try to do some of this color concealing.
Which one I'm not really sure, I need you guys for that.
So go below, leave me some comments, let me know what you thought and if you have any
ideas for Pinterest things that you've seen or ideas you want me to try out I am your
guinea pig.
