Blessings for the Whole Family - Family Retreats - Duration: 4:27.
Last year when we came the first time I
guess it made a really big impression on
Lillian, just that all the activities
that they have that they're accessible
for her and tailored to where it's safe
for her to do. She really enjoyed that
and when asked if we, you know, what canp
we should go this year, she really wanted
Joni and Friends. So I have what's
called osteogenesis imperfecta, which
means brittle bones, and it can be
inherited, and Lillian has the same condition.
She's our firstborn child and then
Analina is our second biological
child, and she does not have it. We have
four children. We have four children that come with us to
this wonderful camp, and we have Luca Scarberry,
our oldest son, who is 5, and our
youngest son who is 3 is Elliot.
Being that I have osteogenesis imperfecta
it's really different from being out in
the regular world, rather than being here
because here they adapt to what I can
do, rather than just not caring like at
school.
Sometimes they don't care about -- Oh she
can't do this, then just sit on the sidelines.
Here they make it to where we can all do it
if you're in a wheelchair you can still
go down the slip and slide or ride the motorcycle
I like coming to Family Retreat because
you get a really fun and cool person to
hang out with all week, and to help you with
things that you can't by yourself.
My name is Katie Black. I'm a short term
missionary and my camper is Lillian
Scarberry.
She's awesome. Her short term missionary this year is
great. She absolutely
listens to Lillian and does the things that
Lillian wants to do. Lillian and her
short term missionary are like two peas
in a pod. They get along very well. They enjoy
each other's company a great deal.
My favorite thing I did with Katie this
year is probably holding different
animals at the petting zoo.
Lillan and I had a blast on the motorcycle
ride.
It was awesome. So the highlight of the
retreat for me would be worship time, in the
worship center where you get to see
all the children and the adults
together, doing the parade, doing the
dancing, doing the music, all in worship
and praising God. To be in the group with the
ladies, just to talk about how God
works in our life, and then of course
pampering day. So I'm really looking
forward to that. I've been really
exhausted from the last several months.
We've had surgeries and hospital stays and
a house flood, and I feel like I just
can come here and be fed the word of
God and rest, and just feel relaxed that my
kids are taken care of and the needs for
our family are taking care of, the food is taken
care of, which is excellent, and just
everything is taken care of here. My two oldest
girls they like the freedom. Once we get
here, we don't see him again until night.

Kate Middleton turned 34 on Saturday and invited her whole family to Sandringham to celebrate!
According to People Magazine, the Duchess of Cambridge was joined by her parents, Michael
and Carole Middleton, her sister, Pippa Middleton, and her brother, James Middleton, for the
weekend.
Kate spent her actual birth day "privately" with her family, including her husband, Prince

On Sunday, the Middleton's were seen walking to St. Mary Magdalene's church where they
attended a service in remembrance of the Gallipoli campaign during World War II (it was the 100th
anniversary this year).
Everyone looked quite chic as they made their way to the church.
Kate, of course, looked lovely in a Michael Kors ensemble, but Kate's mother and sister
were on the same level fashion wise.
Pippa wore a blue and black dress and a brown fur hat while their mom, Carole, was in a
long coat accented by a fur scarf and brown hat.
Duchess Kate met Queen Elizabeth with a curtsey at an event that took place after the mass.
Although this is a sign of respect and is a common greeting in royal families, it isn't
a super common occurrence.
but the Duchess has pretty much nailed the Princess perfect pose.
According to Mail Online, Kate's family didn't attend the aforementioned event, heading "home"
after the church service instead.
It is believed that they all stayed at Anmer Hall, which is where William and Kate have
been living since the birth of Princess Charlotte.
Further details about how the Middleton's spent their time with Kate and William were
not made available, but many were happy to see the family together for Kate's birthday
