Now that it's officially been released,
there are a lot of people interested in
the Samsung Gear 360 2017. However there
are also a lot of Gear 360 2016 users
who are wondering is it worth upgrading
many of you have seen my previous
comparison video where I show you the
actual 4k video that each of these
produce and show them side by side in
this video I'm going to try to fill in
all the gaps and compare all the most
important things that differ between
these two cameras.
With the 2017 Gear 360 they've chosen to go with a smaller design
and it's a much much thinner camera this
means that this camera is now pocketable
you can put it in your pocket you can
take it around with you and it's very
easy to do so this thing is just too big
and it makes it hard to take the camera
around with you everywhere you go unless
you bring another designated bag or if
you hold it in your hand which is a bit
of a nuisance this is actually a really
really big factor because ultimately it
means you're taking the camera out a lot
more because you know it's not going to
take up too much space and you'll end up
getting five times as many photos and
videos just from the pure fact that it's
portable. To me this is a massive win for
the 2017 camera. One thing I do miss
about the 2016 camera is the legs it's
really handy having a mini tripod at the
bottom of your camera, that you can just fold
out like that and it's going to keep the
camera really steady on any surface it's
not going to blow over in the wind
whereas with the 2017 I do worry all the
time that it's going to blow over, the lens
is going to get damaged so I need to be
extra extra careful with this whereas I
don't with the 2016 so in terms of design they
each have one major advantage. One of the
biggest issues Gear 360 users have is
the camera overheating the 2016 is
notorious for it if you record 4k video
for longer than about 20 minutes the
camera generally overheats, it fogs up the
lenses, you'll notice in my vlog in 360
which is my last video I was shooting
footage at the Sydney Opera House and
because the Sun was quite strong after
about five minutes one of the lenses
fogged up and it ruined one side of the
footage that is really not good I have
noticed a huge improvement with the 2017
I rolled this camera for 1 hour and 20
minutes
as you'll see in my previous review of this
camera and it kept going it did not
overheat the battery did run out but it
didn't actually overheat and I've not
heard of the lenses fogging up either so
in terms of overheating issues Samsung
have improved it and the 2017 is a
better camera for overheating. This
brings me to batteries; look the
batteries last roughly the same amount
of time depending on what you're doing
so this isn't a deciding factor however
what is, is the ergonomics of it so the
the new camera has an inbuilt battery
whereas the old one you can take them
out and replace them this isn't an issue
for me personally but I know it is for a
lot of people which is why I'm including
it in this comparison it's just a big
advantage with any camera to be able to
change the batteries whenever they're
flat and not have to go home and charge
them look I do use power banks I always
bring four power banks with me whenever
I'm going out shooting so I can just
charge it while I'm having my lunch or
having a coffee or whatever but it is
very handy being able to to change the
batteries around; I don't. I've only got
one gear 360 2016 battery and I can go
out shooting for two hours or so and
it's enough so if you do plan on going
out shooting for a really long time then
this is probably going to be the better
camera unless you want to keep
recharging this through power banks next
is video stabilization Samsung have
added basic inbuilt stabilization in the
2017 model and it's one of the bigger
differentiation points you'll see in my
last comparison that this footage looks
much much much more stable than this
because of that so if you plan on doing
a lot of handheld work then this is going
to be the better camera. Another cool
feature they added with the 2017 is the
ability to do super slow motion you can
do 120 frames a second at 1440 by 720
which is really low res but it is 120
frames a second in 360 so that's pretty
cool for a $200 something dollar camera
the 2016 can do 60 frames a second
however I just see no point to this you
don't need 60 frames a second if you
want to do slow motion you want to make
it slow enough to be noticeable so this
is an upgrade in slow motion however
the resolution is low. Next we have the
all-important stitching and if you saw
my 2017 camera review you'll know that
it still has major stitching issues, it tries to
adjust the stitch
as you walk around the camera which is a
major error from Samsung because it
makes your footage almost look like it's
shaking as it's adjusting to how close
you are to the camera I really really
hope they fix this, so that automatically
means that the 2016 camera is better
until this one is fixed
look I really hope it happens I don't
know if it will Samsung are very
unresponsive to their users feedback so
I wouldn't expect this to be fixed
anytime soon look this camera works fine
handheld but if you are going to place
it on a tripod or on a table then you
probably will experience this parallax
issue the 2016 camera the stitching
isn't perfect compared to most other
cameras however compared to this camera
this has the better stitching speaking
of stitching with the release of the new
camera Mac uses you now have the ability
to stitch on your Mac they've released the
gear 360 program that allows you to do
so so if you are a Mac user then you'll
definitely want to go with this camera
I'm not going to compare the video
resolutions because I already did in
the last video
they are both 4k however what I will say
from dealing with them in a wide range
of post-production situations is that
the 2016 version is much easier to edit
in Premiere and Insta360 Studio; this
is purely because it's a lower
resolution camera yes it's maybe 200
pixels lower but it makes the workflow
faster. I mean obviously that's
just a basic rule of photography and
video; the lower the resolution, the
faster the programs will respond but
even though this is a small difference
it makes a big difference in the speed
of rendering, exporting and whatnot look
it's still absolutely usable with that
over 4k whereas this is just under 4k
but you will be spending more time in
front of the computer with this one as
you will then you will this one speaking
of resolution the number one complaint
about the 2017 camera is that it's a
significant drop in resolution from the
previous model look I know this is
really annoying and I can probably see
why they've done it because it's a
smaller camera and with small cameras
it's hard to get a lot of resolution so
I can see why they've done it ultimately
you just have to think about where your
photos are going to
end up if it's only for social media say
Instagram Facebook then this actually
does have enough resolution to display
good-looking 360 photos yes this has a
lot more but you don't often need that
like for photos on Instagram yes it's
nice having those extra pixels on
Facebook definitely but if it's just
social media then I think you should be
able to get away with this it's only
when you you want to publish them
professionally or on Google Streetview
or whatever the those extra thousands of
pixels do make a difference and that's
where you will want to go with this
however if you are shooting
professionally then you really shouldn't
be buying gear 360 cameras you should
really go for the next level up maybe
even shooting on a DSLR if you really
want to super high resolution 360 photos
another major advantage to the new
camera is it is now compatible across
way more devices including iPhone and as
far as I know more than 50% maybe even 70%
of photographers are on iphone so this
now opens up a huge new market to iPhone
users and if you have an iPhone that's
your only phone then this is the only
option for you, you've got no choice just
forget about this, this was never
invented, this is the only option so go
for it and it'll be a good camera for
you. It's iPhone friendly and Android
friendly as well as a few others it
still does have a few limitations
essentially the newer the phones are
more compatible it's going to be yes I
think like the iPhone 6 is compatible
technically but it just isn't fast
enough for a lot of the functions that
the camera needs so really no matter
which 360 camera you have the faster
your phone and computer are the faster
your workflow is going to be something I
really like about the 2017 model is we
now have the option to shoot a landscape
HDR. Yes both cameras have basic
HDR ability, that's when the camera tries
to capture the best shadows and the best
highlights possible by trying to get an even
dynamic range within one photo however
traditionally HDR photography is done
with anywhere from three to ten separate
images and combined together to get the
perfect exposure. With the 2017 camera you
can now do that with three photos; it
takes them simultaneously and blends
them together the only issue is you
can't do this and take it because it's
going to take about five seconds
if you move the camera even slightly it
will make it blurry therefore this is
more for like interiors of houses and
landscapes but personally dynamic range
is one of the top things I look for in a
camera and this has good dynamic range
so again this is another tick for the
2017
speaking of exposure this is what both
cameras look like when a photo is taken
in Auto exposure mode they look more or
less the same right? Yes they do, but
there is one massive difference and that
is the lens flare and how each camera
handles the Sun you'll notice that the
2016 has a huge lens flare with many
waves across one whole hemisphere of the
lens this is very annoying and has
always frustrated me they've clearly
made a big improvement with the new
camera and the sun is handled really
well yes there is still a flare but it's
vastly improved. This is essentially to
do with the shape of the lenses, the
2016's is big and bulging whereas the
2017 s is much flatter and less likely
to get a flare. Next we have low-light
performance and here is the footage
taken straight out of the camera from
each, the 2016 has an F 2.0 aperture
whereas the 2017's is F 2.2 it doesn't
seem like a lot but there's a big
difference here the colors and contrast
are much nicer on the right when I do a
quick color grade they are now looking
much more even however the 2016 still
looks better so I'm going to declare it the
winner for now. One thing worth adding is
that neither of these cameras is going
to be particularly good in really low
light this is more or less the darkest
you can shoot in with either camera. Next
we have live streaming previously we
weren't able to do it but now with the
2017 camera you can live stream to your
heart's content keep in mind that you do
need a fast internet connection you need
a fast computer or a fast mobile to
really get a good live stream if you're
using older devices you're going to
have a lot of difficulty however it live
streams so that is an advantage over this
also don't forget that the new one looks
like a robot's genitalia, that's a pretty
big selling feature because you'll be
the life of the party when you whip
this thing out and say 'hey look at my robot dick. hahaha'
one of the biggest talking points from
my last comparison was the sound ability
a lot of people said that the 2016
version sounded better than the 2017
so now I'm going to do a test in a
controlled environment and we'll see
which one sounds better for sound
recording ok i've got the self-timer
activated another good feature of both
ok testing sound
one two three four five six seven eight
nine ten how does it sound which camera
is better in my personal opinion they
sound more or less the same and that is
average at best you should not be using
a 360 camera if you want to record
professional sound you need to get a
proper sound recorder so these are going
to do an okay job but if you do want to
record professional sound get a zoom
sound recorder or something else you
can't be recording the sound on these two
they'll record basic sound but nothing
amazing the very final factor is the
price and they're both very affordable
cameras the 2016 is crazy cheap it's 180
dollars last time I checked on Amazon
this one is two hundred and thirty at
the moment however both of those could
change any minute so you'll definitely
want to double check Amazon at the time
of viewing this video. I'll put links
down there description to where you can
find these the cheapest. Being an owner
of both of these cameras I'm going to
continue using both more or less equally
depending on what I'm shooting they each
have a time in a place I think and
because they are affordable cameras I
don't mind having both of them. After
using both of these cameras for quite a
while now I can tell you that these
things on either side of me are the
points where they differ the most so you
need to ask yourself which of these are
more important to me what kind of stuff
do I shoot and what do I need from a 360

Ted Nugent Announces Run For Political Office This Memorial Day!
Look Which Office He Wants
Ted Nugent has proven again and again just what it means to be a true American patriot!
He has been a big time supporter of our President.
And now he just told Fox & Friends,
"There's no limit to what I'd be willing to do to help make this country great."
Watch him for yourself right here:
It's just heart-warming, isn't it?
On this day when we remember and honor those great Americans who have fought and died for
this country, this great rock musician announces what he, himself, would be willing to do for
his country.
He's just a bit too old, at 69, to go and fight, but I bet he would if he could!
Instead, he is considering running for Senate in 2018.
And if that ain't a fight, I don't know what is!!
Ted said it best about Trump when he said "if you're not pissing off the idiots,
you're an idiot!"
And we all know, Trump has the idiots running around like crazy.
And boy, are they pissed off!
On this Memorial Day, let's all thank our military veterans and their families for their
service and sacrifice for our country.
And let's SHARE this article out everywhere, so that it gets all the way back
to Ted Nugent, with
the comment "Nugent for Senate!"

-Well, let's see.
In Ancient Scripture 2, Section 9, Paragraph 6,
Verse 40, Line 15 it says,
"You just have to have faith!"
Right. Yeah. Forgot.
That makes sense. Thanks!

abstractions of the universe.
But be careful,
The universe is just another concept.
Call us now to find out just how f**ked you are either way.
Prophets for Profits,
How much would you pay for peace of mind?

4 the WORST / MOST HATED Metallica songs | Andriy Vasylenko - Duration: 4:23.
Even I don't like some songs.
Hi friends. It's Andriy Vasylenko – musician, teacher, and a big fan of Metallica.
And my dedication to the band is not one-sided:
if I dislike something, you hear it.
I've done some exploration to find out which Metallica songs other fans consider as "the worst".
So, here's top 4 the worst, or most disliked Metallica songs.
As always, take it easy and express your point tolerantly. Otherwise -
you know the direction ;-)
And we start with a brand new 'worst' song.
'Hardwired' album came out, and people immediately disliked 'Am I Savage?'
Why?
They say 'it's dull': featureless intro, straight chromatic progression on chorus, boring overall pace...
And they don't care that this song contains one of the most
heavy and unique Metallica riffs
and this is standard tuning! What do you think?
Or any other song from St. Anger.
You know, this is the most hated album at all.
And when it comes to the worst song, people mention 'Purify' most often.
Why?
They say 'it's annoying'
Especially vocals on verse and chorus.
It's interesting, because a lot of Metallica fans that I've met personally,
they're digging this song!
Particularly the main riff and outro.
Who knows, maybe with a bit different arrangement or lyrics
vocals 'Purify' would unleash its whole potential.
And this a case when fans do like a song,
but the band doesn't.
Metallica had 3 days to write and record another track for Ride the Lightning.
So, this is how it actually happened...
It's funny that Metallica being in a hurry could write a better song than now having a few years.
They played 'Escape' only once, and we saw how James reacted.
Torben Ulrich: 'Delete that'
this was one of the rare things on 'Some Kind of Monster' that made sense.
Song's background should not be an excuse for it's musical dullness.
When we hear a song, we have just music and lyrics,
so we either like it for that or not.
Even the best idea if it's expressed in a wrong way, may sound like...
bullsh*t!
'Temptation' - If you really like this song, there're two variants:
either a unique person with own reasons to like it,
or you're one of the fans that will eat everything that Metallica produces.
And what about song that I dislike personally?
Guess them!
First one, in my opinion, is the most overrated song that Metallica ever promoted as a single,
it's from Reload.
Second - is the most overdone song, and it's from Death Magnetic.
And third one is from the new album, but I can't choose between two:
'a pale shadow of Fade to Black'
and 'a song with the biggest amount of plagiary and self-plagiary'.
These are mine. And what about you?
Which Metallica song you think is the worst?
I hope you had fun watching this video, and I hope I didn't hurt anybody's feelings.

Which bank will be right for me? Simon O'Kelly Finance for Living - Duration: 1:07.
- My name's Simon O'Kelly.
I'm a senior mortgage broker
and the founder of Finance for Living.
(cheerful music)
I make sure that I have an in-depth conversation
with what your banking needs are.
Do you need a credit card?
Do you need an offset account?
Is it an interest-only loan?
Is it a principle and interest loan?
Is it an owner occupied loan?
Is it an investment loan?
All these terms might be like, whoa, another language,
but you don't need to worry about that.
I do that work, so very important for my side
is that I never have a bank in mind when I start that conversation
because until I know more about you, being the customer,
and your needs in terms of your,
just how you do your banking,
but also what type of property you're buying
and what sort of job you actually have
because by the time I look through all of those situations,
there'll be particular banks that just don't work
and some that do, so once I have that conversation,
I'll know which banks are going to work for you.
So, if you would like to have a better idea
about which products or which banks are gonna work
for your particular situation, yeah, come and talk to me.

What is Apartheid? | Definition of Apartheid | Meaning of Apartheid - Duration: 8:57.
Apartheid was a system of institutionalized racial segregation and discrimination in South
Africa between 1948 and 1991.
Broadly speaking, apartheid was delineated into petty apartheid, which entailed the segregation
of public facilities and social events, and grand apartheid, which dictated housing and
employment opportunities by race.
Prior to the 1940s, some aspects of apartheid had already emerged in the form of minority
rule by white South Africans and the socially enforced separation of black South Africans
from other races, which later extended to pass laws and land apportionment.
Apartheid as a policy was embraced by the South African government shortly after the
ascension of the National Party (NP) during the country's 1948 general elections.
A codified system of racial stratification began to take form in South Africa under the
Dutch Empire in the late eighteenth century, although informal segregation was present
much earlier due to social cleavages between Dutch colonists and a creolised, ethnically
diverse slave population.
With the rapid growth and industrialisation of the British Cape Colony in the nineteenth
century, racial policies and laws became increasingly rigid.
Cape legislation that discriminated specifically against black Africans began appearing shortly
before 1900.
The policies of the Boer republics were also racially exclusive; for instance, the Transvaal
constitution barred nonwhite participation in church and state.
The first apartheid law was the Prohibition of Mixed Marriages Act, 1949, followed closely
by the Immorality Act of 1950, which made it illegal for most South African citizens
to marry or pursue sexual relationships across racial lines. The Population Registration Act,
1950 classified all South Africans into one of four racial groups based on appearance,
known ancestry, socioeconomic status, and cultural lifestyle: "black", "white", "coloured",
and "Indian", the last two of which included several sub-classifications.
Places of residence were determined by racial classification.
From 1960 to 1983, 3.5 million nonwhite South Africans were removed from their homes, and
forced into segregated neighbourhoods, in one of the largest mass removals in modern
history.
Most of these targeted removals were intended to restrict the black population to ten designated
"tribal homelands", also known as bantustans, four of which became nominally independent
states.
The government announced that relocated persons would lose their South African citizenship
as they were absorbed into the bantustans.
Apartheid sparked significant international and domestic opposition, resulting in some
of the most influential global social movements of the twentieth century.
It was the target of frequent condemnation in the United Nations, and brought about an
extensive arms and trade embargo on South Africa.
During the 1970s and 1980s, internal resistance to apartheid became increasingly militant,
prompting brutal crackdowns by the National Party administration and protracted sectarian
violence that left thousands dead or in detention.
Some reforms of the apartheid system were undertaken, including allowing for Indian
and coloured political representation in parliament, but these measures failed in appeasing most
activist groups.
Between 1987 and 1993 the National Party entered into bilateral negotiations with the African
National Congress, the leading anti-apartheid political movement, for ending segregation
and introducing majority rule.
In 1990, prominent ANC leaders such as Nelson Mandela were released from detention.
Apartheid legislation was abolished in mid-1991, pending multiracial elections set for April
1994.
Under the 1806 Cape Articles of Capitulation the new British colonial rulers were required
to respect previous legislation enacted under Roman Dutch law and this led to a separation
of the law in South Africa from English Common Law and a high degree of legislative autonomy.
The governors and assemblies that governed the legal process in the various colonies
of South Africa were launched on a different and independent legislative path from the
rest of the British Empire.
In the days of slavery, slaves required passes to travel away from their masters.
In 1797 the Landdrost and Heemraden of Swellendam and Graaff-Reinet extended pass laws beyond
slaves and ordained that all Khoikhoi (designated as Hottentots) moving about the country for
any purpose should carry passes.
This was confirmed by the British Colonial government in 1809 by the Hottentot Proclamation,
which decreed that if a Khoikhoi were to move they would need a pass from their master or
a local official.
Ordinance No. 49 of 1828 decreed that prospective black immigrants were to be granted passes
for the sole purpose of seeking work.
These passes were to be issued for Coloureds and Khoikhoi, but not for other Africans,
who were still forced to carry passes.
The United Kingdom's Slavery Abolition Act 1833 (3 & 4 Will.
IV c. 73) abolished slavery throughout the British Empire and overrode the Cape Articles
of Capitulation.
To comply with the act the South African legislation was expanded to include Ordinance 1 in 1835,
which effectively changed the status of slaves to indentured labourers.
This was followed by Ordinance 3 in 1848, which introduced an indenture system for Xhosa
that was little different from slavery.
The various South African colonies passed legislation throughout the rest of the nineteenth
century to limit the freedom of unskilled workers, to increase the restrictions on indentured
workers and to regulate the relations between the races.
The Franchise and Ballot Act of 1892 instituted limits based on financial means and education
to the black franchise, and the Natal Legislative Assembly Bill of 1894 deprived Indians of
the right to vote.
The Glen Grey Act of 1894, instigated by the government of Prime Minister Cecil John Rhodes
limited the amount of land Africans could hold.
In 1905 the General Pass Regulations Act denied blacks the vote, limited them to fixed areas
and inaugurated the infamous Pass System.
The Asiatic Registration Act required all Indians to register and carry passes.
In 1910 the Union of South Africa was created as a self-governing dominion, which continued
the legislative programme: the South Africa Act enfranchised whites, giving them complete
political control over all other racial groups while removing the right of blacks to sit
in parliament, the Native Land Act (1913) prevented blacks, except those in the Cape,
from buying land outside "reserves", the Natives in Urban Areas Bill (1918) was designed to
force blacks into "locations", the Urban Areas Act (1923) introduced residential segregation
and provided cheap labour for industry led by white people, the Colour Bar Act prevented
black mine workers from practising skilled trades, the Native Administration Act made
the British Crown, rather than paramount chiefs, the supreme head over all African affairs,
the Native Land and Trust Act (1936) complemented the 1913 Native Land Act and, in the same
year, the Representation of Natives Act removed previous black voters from the Cape voters'
roll and allowed them to elect three whites to Parliament.
One of the first pieces of segregating legislation enacted by Jan Smuts' United Party government
was the Asiatic Land Tenure Bill (1946), which banned land sales to Indians.
The United Party government began to move away from the rigid enforcement of segregationist
laws during World War II.
Amid fears integration would eventually lead to racial assimilation, the legislature established
the Sauer Commission to investigate the effects of the United Party's policies.
The commission concluded that integration would bring about a "loss of personality"
for all racial groups.

'Thank You For Your Support!' Trump Touts New Poll Which Finds Majority Disapprove of Him
Following an eventful day in Brussels during which he dressed down NATO leaders, had a couple of awkward encounters with newly-elected French President Emmanuel Macron, and appeared to shove someone aside so he could be in front of the group at a NATO ceremony, President Donald Trump relaxed in the best way he knows how — by firing up Twitter and sending out a dispatch about how much people like him.
Trump took to his preferred social media network and touted the results of Thursdays Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential tracking poll. Thank you for your support. Together, we will MAKE AMERICA SAFE AND GREAT AGAIN!#POTUSAbroad #USA.
The Rasmussen poll is known to skew somewhat conservative. And indeed, according to FiveThirtyEight which aggregates approval rating polls, the Rasmussen number is currently the largest outlier, rating Trump at least two points higher than every other poll.
Overall, FiveThirtyEight finds that the Presidents approval rating average among all pollsters is 39.1 percent.
Further, even in the Rasmussen poll — which by far is more favorable to Trump than any other — a majority of Americans disapprove of his job performance. Fifty-two percent of those surveyed told Rasmussen they disapprove of Trump.
But that didnt stop Trump from touting the numbers on Twitter. Thank for for your support, Trump wrote, including a graphic which highlighted his Rasmussen numbers. Follow Joe DePaolo (@joe_depaolo) on Twitter. Have a tip we should know? tips@mediaite. com.
