So, we found this little hidden treasure.
It's literally in the middle of nowhere.
Uh, my husband found it on Yelp.
I think it's called Cattleman's Ranch
steakhouse or Cattlemen's Steakhouse and
there were no signs along the interstate
or anything. It's just we found it on
Yelp. So, we're gonna go check it out. It's
got like a four and a half star. Appears
to be rather expensive but all the
reviews say well worth visiting.
So, we're parked down here where they
would allow RVs to park. The
steakhouse is up there on the hill.
That's where we're headed.
Cattleman's Steakhouse- yey, baby rattlers.
Baby rattlers. Okay, go ahead and shut
it so we can go back inside and eat. Our
food is here.
So, we just ate dinner at the Cattlemen's
steakhouse they have plenty of things
to look at and do outside so that's what
we're doing we're outside exploring. I
found the ostrich. They're just feeding the
rabbits carrots. Look at this big one over here.
See if you can wake it up. He's a baby one. Alright, we didn't realize
the extent of this but this place is
like a zoo. They've got a little bit of
everything so we're headed down...
looks like there's Buffalo and Longhorn
down this way.
They've also filmed some movies at this
location but according to what was on
the menu the only way you can get to
where they filmed is with a hayride. And,
the hay rides they only do on Sunday.
But, we're going to check it out cuz it's
awful busy today. And, with it being Spring
Break and lots of people here then maybe
they're doing hayride. So, we'll check it
out. What do you see? More horses. You see horses?

So, I am back filming the movie set.
There's a little entrance here so let's
see... old time gas pump. So, this is a summary of the
movie. It just says it's a movie set from
resurrection sound in 1979. It was built
by Indian Cliffs Ranch for Universal
Studios of Hollywood. Built for the
ending scene without films here on the
ranch. Those are prairie dogs Corwyn. Prairie dogs? Yeah, they're
pretty healthy. They're huge. Prairie dogs look for ...
Umm, see the rattlesnakes over here behind us? Wait, are those real?
Yeah, no in the cage. Not on, not on the
outside of cage actually in the cage. But the sign says they hibernate during the winter
so I assume they are hibernating now?
Oh no, they're not hibernating I see one.
Right there. Playground, playground. Playground, playground yay! Yay! And, there's even a basketball
court.
Huh. This is pretty neat isn't it? Yeah. I like those
wagon slides. I can't say I've ever
seen wagon sides before.
Daddy's having fun. (Laughter) Over there. Mommy's over there. There you are!
Are you hiding on the wagon? Yeah.
Yeah, that's cool isn't it? Old fashion wagon.
Some ropes to climb... of course we're in a big
giant sandbox. Oh, there's a wheelchair
maze. In and out. Fort Apache. Big ropes to
climb. They say no running but.. Who wouldn't
want a cool fort like this?
I remember when we little we try to build
forts. None of them compared to this
though.
Alright it looks like I'm going down
this slide. Because that other way was, ugh, and up way and
it was slippery. Whoa! (laughter)
The slides are fast! Yeah.
Yes I saw it. It's fast. I told him to go down again but he said no to me. (Laughter) Too big, huh?
Jump. Did you go down this slide? Oh, you like jumping? Okay.
Whoa, jump. Yeah I saw that that's a big
jump.

leave your shoe on. Would like there's a fort
to climb up in the top there. They did.
Oh, did they? Oh, that's cool.
Go over and check it out. Here's a cool
little fort with carpet even. That's awesome. There's storage. Huh? There's storage?
There is sleeping storage down here. Oh wow. There's more
way up there. Cool. I wonder if I can get back so you
actually see it? Preston's climbing up.
That is your bed? Yeah. And, my bed is up here.
And, my bed too. It's like a triple decker.
Looking out the window? Yeah. Awesome. That's a neat
little fort. Da da? No, that wasn't da da.
That was someone else's da da. Mommy! Oh where you at? Up here. Where? There you are! There mommy, there. That's a big ... (Yelling, laughter) I want down. You want down? Do you need help? He does need help.
It has what? Oh
all right we're talking about the Indian
maze.
Alright smartie. Corwyn is trying to
figure out how to get in. Okay go ahead.
This way is a dead end. Ugh, you think so? Nope. Yeah.
(laughter)

Dead end.
Da da? Da da is right there.
That way. Dead end!

Come on Preston. We took ... you went the wrong way. Close the door. You're closing the door? Yeah.
Okay. Alright that way nobody .... you
go that way. Yeah.
Da da over that way. Yeah da da already went that way. That way? No, we are
suppose to go this way. Oh. That way? Yep, that way. Yeah. Da da? Da da,
Where'd he go? Gone. He's gone? This way to da da. (laughter) Nope, not that way Preston. Da Da.

Uh, oh. Over there. Dead end. Dead end? Yeah. Mommy! What? Where'd you go? How did you get out? How I got out. Okay, go. Dead end. (laughter)
Yey, we made it! Big door, huh?
You going to do it again? Again? Yeah. That way. You already went that way. Remember it's the wrong way. Yeah. (laughter)
Alright we'll will wait for him. Because it goes to a dead
end. So he has to come back. There he
comes back. Yeah, that's a dead end.
He should be putting food
down the thing. Here Preston.
You don't have to take it all. Just take a little bit.
There you go. I know. You want some more
guy? Here you go. Alright now we're back
to our starting point.
Parking lot where we originally parked.
A couple of motorhomes now. We would spend the
night here but we're still six hours
from home so we have to get on down the
road a little bit further. Sun is setting.
So we are back to our motorhome. It's a
beautiful evening the weather's beautiful
the view is beautiful
the kids are handful, as always. My
husband said his wife's beautiful. Thank
you honey.
Well we're gonna be helping in RV this
was a fun little escapade. Once again,
unplanned found it on Yelp. But definitely
worthwhile. When we got here we did not
wait at all we went straight in and got
into the restaurant. But, there were I
don't know 20 30 people waiting for
tables when we left so definitely get
here on an off hour if you can. Ummm, If there
is wait it's kind of cool because
they've got the farm stuff the pets the
playground the mazes so there's plenty
to do. I would allow for an hour to
explore either before you eat or after
you eat. After eating is always good for
us so you get some exercise after
filling your belly up. So this was another
family escapade for you. Hope you enjoyed
it. Put it on your list of places to go
if you're traveling on i-10 through
Texas. Just taking in the sunset. The sun is
