I was thinking of starting a new career.

I gave up on my acting career.

Jaehee finally started to make us laugh.

How to crop a Wolverine MovieMaker film that was zoomed out when copied. - Duration: 13:02.

Hello, this is Ron from super8tovideo.

I am going to show you how I crop 8mm films copied by the Wolverine with the zoom all

the way out.

We are doing this in Video Studio Pro X10 but it is a new blue filter and this filter

is in other video editing programs as well.

I suggest you slow the film down to the proper speed and delete the leader tape and the first

10 or so frames and the last 10 or so frames at the end of the film as well before beginning

the crop process.

Sometimes these beginning and end frames are not stable and can be time consuming to stabilize

in the cropping feature.

However if these frames are important to you, it can be done, but you will need to do it

with a lot of key frames which you will understand in a moment.

I have already imported a 30 second clip in Video Studio Pro.

This 8mm camera even copied some of the picture here to the left I will have to crop this

part out of the picture.

Come here and left single click FX.

Then come up here to the down arrow and single left click it and select all by single left

clicking here.

These are all the filters and they are in alphabetical order so come to cropping do

not confuse it with crop borders.

Single left and hold the cropping feature and drag it to the clip you want to crop and

then let go of the left click.

Now double click the clip we just dropped the filter on.

Now single left click here where it says customize filter.

Do not click the stationary box.

Put a check in the fill color box.

Then single left click the fill color box here.

Choose a color by selecting the color menu here at top first.

Let's try green.

Then I"ll select this shade of green.

It doesn't take effect until I hit okay.

Now let's do that again but let's try red.

I'll select this shade of red then hit ok.

For our 8mm films we need a shade of gray so I select it here.

I have found almost black but not completely black matches the edges of the 8mm films best.

So I'll select this one.

I Then I hit ok.

By default it starts by having one key frame at the beginning and one key frame at the

end of the clip.

Key frames are these diamonds on the time line.

They turn red when you select them.

By default the first key frame is set to 50 % width and 50 % height.

This last key frame is set to 100% width and 100% height.

The original view on the left is where we make all our adjustments and the preview on

the right is where the program shows the changes made.

The first change I am going to make is I am going to change the position of the crop but

I am leaving the width and height set to 50 %. By hovering over the x here and left hold

click I am dragging the crops center point to here.

I am going to now play the film.

To start the film playing I left click this arrow here.

If you will notice as the film is playing three things are happening.

The height, the width and the center point are all changing as the film is getting closer

to the last key frame here.

This is because the last key frame center point is in the default position and the height

and width are set to 100%.

The closer the frame is to the end key frame the bigger the width and height is and the

closer the center point is to the default position.

If you notice the center position is moving also.

Now I am going to show you how to get as much picture as possible on this 30 second clip.

By practicing for this tutorial I already know this clip needs to be set at 56 width

and 70 height.

We do that by coming here and changing them.

If you will notice I can not change them because I must first select the key frame and then

change them.

Remember that if you can't change things it is you either need to create a key frame

or select a key frame first to make changes.

So I will click on the key frame.

Now when I select the Width and height I can change them to 56 and 70.

I also need to change the center point to the edge of the two sprocket holes.

Notice if I come to far over the sprocket holes show on the right side over here.

I'll set it right here.

By clicking on this arrow it takes me to the next key frame to the right which in this

case is the last key frame.

Now I do the same thing for the end key frame as I did for the beginning key frame I set

width to 56 and height to 70 and adjust the center point location.

Now lets play the film and pay attention to the right side over here because that is the

final result.

If you notice the top frame began to show at the top after it played for a few seconds.

Right up here.

There are two ways to solve this issue.

One way is to change the height to 69 the other is to move the frame down a little.

I prefer the second method because the first loses some of the picture.

First by left click and holding the scrubber I move it to the frame where I first noticed

the top showing.

These two arrows here allow you to move one frame at a time either to the right or left.

I will move one frame to the left and then by clicking on this plus symbol I create a

key frame.

I did this to lock in this section of the clip.

If I do not create this key frame when I drag the film down this previous section will gradually

change and come down as it gets closer to the key frame I created and dragged down.

Now I move one key frame to the right and create another key frame.

It is on this second key frame I created that I drag the film down just enough to get rid

of the frame from showing from up above.

Now lets play the film.

If you notice when I play the film now it no longer shows from the top.

Notice the film has a little problem showing here now.

I would need to repeat the process of creating 2 key frames again to solve this problem.

You may need to make these subtle changes as the film is being played moving the film

left, right, up down or increasing or decreasing the height or width.

Just remember it is easiest to create a key frame one frame to the left to lock in the

good portion of the film.

Then move one frame to the right and create another key frame it is on this second key

frame to the right that you make your changes.

Remember at the beginning of this tutorial I mentioned deleting the first ten frames

at the beginning and end of the film.

If you want to keep them you may need to create many key frames and manually follow each frame

it is time consuming but it can be done.

One tip before I close this tutorial.

If you hover over an item like I am doing now it lets you know what the button does.

All the buttons do this.

This button is how you remove a key frame.

This button takes you to the next key frame.

So now you know how I crop my films.

I got this cropping tip from one of my subscribers Daniel Phillips so thanks to him.

After this process I use the magnifying glass filter to zoom in which makes the picture

bigger but you pay the price of losing some of the resolution.

However, on my 43 inch monitor I can not see this loss.

It may be visible on larger monitors thou.

Even after this magnification the film will still have the black bars to the sides and

also black above and below the picture but I prefer this to losing some of the picture

by zooming in when using the Wolverine to copy films.

Galaxy S8 Two Months Later: Was It a Mistake? - Duration: 6:51.

Galaxy s8 you've probably heard about it it's been about two months since our

review actually hit and I bought a galaxy s8 plus for Verizon for myself and

in between testing of their phones it's been my daily driver for almost every

day or that eight week period if you watch our new show review you'll know I

really loved the phone but things have changed a little bit since then so some

general thoughts about the galaxy S8 first I'm still in love with the design

the screen still looks like a sticker to me it does even look like a real screen

Samsung's technology is absolutely awesome

and the review I said I didn't mind it an outdoor sunlight the more I used in

outdoor sunlight the more I took it to the park to try to take pictures the

more I was outside the less awesome the screen got in direct sun left turn the

brightness up to a hundred percent you get a warning from Samsung and telling

you not to do that and this one gets incredibly warm I just keep my

brightness around 50% so in direct sunlight it has not been as good as my

initial sort of first week impressions with the device so bear that in mind

also not as good initially thought battery life typically getting through a

full day now it's like 20% down about five ten percent of my initial review

perhaps I'm using it a little bit more perhaps I have more apps open in the

background I don't have my brightness set to serve auto brightness I keep it

again at 50% I just like it there I can get through a full day no problem but

still not as strong as initially thought the other little knock on this phone and

I'm a big wireless charging guy and before Yelp man oh it's not Wireless you

gotta plug the the chi pad and I understand that Wireless for the phone

phone goes on it the contact point for the phone really small and oftentimes if

I put it down I turn the phone off I move it a little bit sir my phone

background the more I notice it wouldn't have been fully charged so small

annoyance is there the last thing that still annoys me is the fingerprint

reader and I read the comments our review it was overwhelming

Jon just put a case on it and you can find a location I don't like to have a case

on this phone I loved where this one feels the designer for me is part of the

appeal of the device I feel like you lose that with the case

so let's get the S8 plus the larger version I don't think I've ever used the

fingerprint review may be to like login to some apps

but that is essentially it have anything the retinal scanning andthe face scanning

seems to be working pretty well

those are negatives those things that have changed I still love this phone

Samsung pay for me seems like magic when I use it I love the fact that little may

fit out a magnetic field for swipe cards tap it I love the way the phone feels a

design quick charger has been incredibly awesome

so my go-to camera taking pictures and my kids it's my go-to video camera

taking videos of swim lessons or anything that I'm doing I've even used

it at events I even maybe clicked it to Apple's WWDC and take pictures on the

open and I got some dirty looks from certain company employees but the camera

is absolutely awesome and there's a lot of reasons still want to buy this phone

I've never had any speed issues the phone is so incredibly fast I know like

you guys may be a little bit worried it only had four gigs of RAM but it's still

quite a bit no performance issues I'm able to get through and to get through

of use less split screen multitasking and it's still been really smooth I

don't mind the change of themes like main care to mind the on-screen button

but have a phone that looks this good that's this thin that's powerful and

still has a headphone jack which I've used quite a bit it's really nice to

have I could go back two months I would still buy the phone again there is a huge

onslaught coming of competition you've got the essential phone coming you've

got whatever Apple is going to do next coming you've got the LG V30 oneplus

five there's a lot of competition for this premier smartphone dollar I really

like the phone and also I have not once used Bixby have zero point zero use

for it and that unnecessary button I know you can remap it just haven't done

it but the moral being I still love this phone I would buy it again in a

heartbeat still a fingerprint magnet I wish it

came in different colours in the US but I love this device apart of my favorite

phone that ever tested perhaps aside from the Galaxy Note 7 and the iPhone 6

plus also my favorite phones I've ever used it's a great device if you want to

buy a phone and the price and it going to turn you off really look at the

S8 and S8+ I don't think they're disappointed so the moral two months in

things have changed a little bit so I like to do the revisited videos

generally in a week double use test devices it is a good enough time to get

a broad sample of the product but the more you use it obviously things can

change an opinion to change so what are your opinions on the film did you buy

one as your battery life gotten a little bit worse since you bought it is your

phone get really warm when you're doing you know mobile tethering like like mine

vacation to Las Vegas when I took my Galaxy s8 plus with me I wear some

shorts with a bit of a narrow pocket and the phone fell out I was sitting down

and breakfast screen cracked and not like a little bit of cracking it was a

giant crack almost the whole upper left part of the screen got destroyed and I

was really sad I just mentioned that I thought it was pretty durable I know any

phone can crack depending on on how it happens but I was bummed actually it's a

first screen that I've cracked that I can remember

so repair process there's a little bit interesting you don't have like Apple

stores but there is a Samsung store actually in LA we take the phone and get

it repaired almost same day so I did that dropped it off on a Friday night

picked it up on Monday but it would have been available later on that night I

tried calling Samsung and it gave me a prepaid label to send the phone back and

we were taking a few days to get it done so bear that in mind if you want to pick

up a Samsung device lives are one of those stores it's really nice to have as

well and the repair cost came out to be about 220 dollars after taxes so it was a

tough tough pill to swallow I'm not through sure how I stand on the

break ability durability and not going to crack this of the Galaxy s8 and s8+

now I know I should put a case on it with my own dumbass fault I'm still not

sure I'm going to pick case on it which is also still my fault when I break it

again maybe I'll get insurance plan

All Blacks coach Steve Hansen has slammed the delay in explaining why Sean OBrien was cleared for the deciding test of the Lions series after making contact with Waisake Naholos head in a tackle.

The Judicial Committee deemed the contact OBrien made with Naholo was accidental and not intentional or reckless. The Lions flanker was cited for striking the All Blacks winger during the second test in Wellington, which the tourists won 24-21 last Saturday.

No explanation was given at the time, but the committees full written decision was released on Thursday morning (NZ time). Hansen also questioned Mako Vunipolas actions after the Lions prop was sinbinned for dangerously cleaning out Beauden Barrett on the floor.

The hearing stretched more than three-and-a-half hours after OBrien denied committing an act of foul play under Law 10. 4(a), which states a player must not strike an opponent with an arm.

OBrien told the panel he was unaware he had made contact with Naholos head until he was cited the morning after the match.

After reviewing reports from the citing commissioner, the referee, All Blacks team doctor Tony Page, and video footage presented by OBrien and obtained by the citing commissioner, the Lions flanker was cleared to play in the deciding test at Eden Park on Saturday.
