"I Was Taught Homosexuality is an Abomination & Abortion a Sin" (Guest Vlogger Jelena) - Duration: 6:09.

Hi, my name is Jelena, and this is a vlog created for The Sydney Feminists

So I'm a Croatian YouTuber and I go by the name of Toffee Punk

So English is not my first language

Sorry for that!

In this video

I would like to talk about sex education and sex positivity

In some countries and among these countries is Croatia

So first I'm going to talk about how Croatian education system works

Then I'm going to talk a little bit about my experience

So first

You go to Kindergarten, but it's not mandatory

Then you go to Elementary school. There's

Four grades of Elementary school then Middle school

That's four grades also, and then you go to

Three to

five years of High school and

While enlisting in high school you choose subjects you're interested in

and then after high school you can take

standardized tests and

You can go to college.

Croatia is a country with eighty percent of Catholic population and

That's a huge amount for this small country

So right before enlisting in high school and also elementary school

(Yes, Elementary school.... I know it's crazy!)

You have to choose if you like to attend

Catholic

religion class or

Ethics.....and I don't have to mention that those kids that choose ethics are

highly stigmatized and bullied by their peers....

...oh, and I can already see the comments like,

'I attended ethics, but I've never been bullied!'

Oh!....newsflash!!!!

'Global warming is a myth because I was just cold!'

Also, 'world hunger is also a myth because I just ate!'

......Now if you're attending religion class you are taught that

Homosexuality is an abomination

Abortions are a sin and obviously you are taught abstinence-only sex education

Note that there is no separate subject called

'Sex education'......sex education and

sex positivity is still a huge taboo in Countries like Croatia

I mean, there's biology that teaches you about

periods, Body parts

contraception and such things but

We're talking about fourteen year olds ...you learn these things in the last

grade of Middle School and

Fourteen-Year-Old girls already got their period and

Probably were stigmatized

ashamed and scared of a normal bodily function

also, Croatia has one of the highest rates of

Underage teenage pregnancies

from around 1,000 girls

18 become pregnant

while still underage

Underage meaning under 18. -Now It's almost like abstinence-only sex education

Doesn't work......!

Okay, so let's talk about my experience and obviously I attended the religion class

and

From a very early age I was taught that

Homosexuality is an abomination

abortions are a sin and

I was taught abstinence-only sex education

also this teacher....

appreciated and

encouraged violent behavior and

also, victim-blamed. At around 7th grade,

I mean in Middle school, I was

Introduced to an internet community and feminism....and at first I was a little bit

....disgusted and

I wasn't so accepting of that, but soon I became more accepting and

noted that some of my

previous opinions were wrong.....two years after that I enrolled in high school and

I didn't choose any catholic schools or private schools

But I chose to attend religion class

Because I was afraid of being bullied. ...Now this teacher is a bit more accepting

and open to debate.... I'm 17 years old now and

honestly

Nothing changed from when I was in Elementary school

Also, there are some .... that would like to make religion class Mandatory

but when I grow up, (soon!) I would like to make an activist group to

make sex education

mandatory for at least Middle school kids or High school kids.

......Anyways, that's it for this video guys! Make sure you give it a big thumbs up! ....and remember kids,

Don't do drugs and protect yourself....Bye!!!

Reignover is glad he came to NA: "It was really fun playing against new people & showing myself." - Duration: 4:38.

I said it on the post-game interview, basically we just went into the mindset that there's

nothing to lose.

And that kind of make us a fake confident and we just do our play and we just don't

hesitate.

And when you decide something you just do it.

And yeah I mean we are less desperate too because that was one of our major problems

and yeah being less desperate, waiting for their mistake, and being decisive on the play

that we have to do in certain scenarios, just whatever you have to do during the game.

And we've been struggling doing that.

But now it's pretty, yeah I think we played pretty clean.

Yeah it's definitely not optimal I would say.

But since we've been struggling in most matches, we were just really desperate about victory,

so we just try all of the things.

I think we just used to go for the roster that had a good win rate in scrims, or sometimes

if we get stomped on stage, we usually try to change our roster because I guess the team's

mood was not good enough.

So they want to refresh it.

But yeah I mean I wouldn't say it was always right, what we did.

I would say it was pretty bad.

But yeah, right now we're finding out with this roster -- it's like our original roster

and then you know we've been most comfy with each other so I think it kind of showed by

us playing confident.

When you just keep losing you just want to win, I just -- I really want to come back.

It just like feels really bad and really sad after the game.

You're worrying and you're getting stressed before the stage.

And usually I was not like those type of player.

I was like usually be happy or be excited before LCS.

And even after games -- I'm usually, I used to win.

But after the game, basically I didn't really feel pleasure playing the game too.

So all this stuff happening to me, it was just not acceptable.

And I tried to fix it.

I tried to, while I fix myself, I try to fix my team but I guess it was just not working

that well.

So yeah I've been struggling but now I think the meta is pretty much, pretty comfy for

me too.

And then our teams, our team and myself playing really confident together, I think it's just

making us perform better.

Recently I would say not that much because when I have free time I focus on myself playing

individual solo queue, watching my games, and reviewing myself instead of watching how

Inori plays and try to help him because it's not a good time for me to help someone else.

I just want to focus on myself because there's a lot of things to work as myself, personally.

So yeah, I mean even also for Inori.

When I'm playing Inori tries to improve himself too.

I think once both of us get like pretty on a line, that we're like comfy or like have

space on our mind to help each other, then maybe it can be a good synergy, but right

now I think it's even more important that we just focus on us individually.

I think it's going really well.

Well when I said that was when I first, when I joined Immortals.

And yeah it was really good, basically it was a really good decision for me, I think,

because basically at Europe I was super bored because the meta was like same, we were basically

winning every game and I lose a lot of motivation, especially after Worlds.

I was burnt out.

And I just expect me and -- I just expect myself if I just go back, I will be super

bored and tired, but I always enjoyed, like at Worlds I enjoyed playing against new teams

and new players, and by joining NA I felt a lot of motivation.

It was really, really fun playing against new people and then showing myself to NA was

a really cool and fun experience, and yeah I mean, when I was playing in NA, there was

a lot of competition.

We couldn't make it to finals a single time.

We couldn't go to Worlds.

I mean basically, I think yeah I was, I'm pretty sure I played pretty bad on playoffs

too.

So yeah I mean there was still a lot of challenge that I have to improve and I have to play

well so yeah, I think it was a good decision for me.

What If Apple Was a Country? - Duration: 7:38.

The world's largest corporations presently create a significant amount of the global

GDP, with names such as Microsoft, Google, and McDonald's becoming part of a child's

vocabulary very early on, even if that child lives in a far-flung region of the world.

Facebook announced this year it has 2 billion users, which is quite a chunk of the 7.5 billion

folks currently residing on planet Earth.

In 2015 ForeignPolicy.com listed the top 25 corporations, with Walmart filling the number

one spot.

Its 2.2 million employees are more than the entire population of Slovenia.

Nestle, in ninth place on the list, has factories in 86 nations, but what's more incredible

is that Nestle goods are sold in every single country in the world.

'Ok' is the most universally recognized word, but Coca-Cola isn't far behind.

Today we're going to focus on just one country-sized corporation, in this episode of the Infographics

Show, If Apple was a country.

Don't forget to subscribe and click the bell button so that you can be part of our

Notification Squad.

Let's first see how it all began.

How did Apple move from an idea in someone's head to a household name?

If you've seen a number of movies and documentaries made about the company, you'll know it was

started by Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak in 1976.

As the story goes, Wozniac was the engineering ace and Jobs was a man of ideas with a brilliant

acumen for marketing those ideas.

The two tinkered with personal computers, sometimes spending huge amounts of money on

advertising that told the consumer that buying an Apple product was tantamount to escaping

the clutches of vapid consumerism.

Some people got rich early, especially investors, and then Jobs left the company.

It wasn't until Jobs came back in 1997 that Apple would begin chartering a course towards

gadget global supremacy.

You know the story from here, in which products such as the iPod, iMac, iPhone, as well as

the iOS operating system, would revolutionize the computer industry.

So now let's have a look at the behemoth that Apple has become.

Statistics for 2016 tell us that Apple currently employees around 116,000 people.

According to the United Nations Population Division, one country in the world has the

same population as Apple has employees, and that is the island nation of Kiribati in the

Central Pacific.

This paradise on Earth however is vastly underdeveloped, and has a current GDP of around 600 million

dollars.

That is a little less than Apple lost in 2016 after losing a patent infringement case.

Apple can afford a loss to a patent troll, with revenue for 2016 at 215 billion dollars.

This meant that annual profits for Apple that year were 45.7 billion dollars.

If Apple were a country and it decided to share its profits with every person in the

country, each person would receive a check for around 380,000 dollars.

If we compare Apple's 215 billion GDP to a country's GDP, according to the 2017 forecast

by the International Monetary Fund World Economic Outlook, Apple would be equal to the country

of Vietnam.

It would also be a bigger GDP than many developed nations, including Finland, New Zealand, Portugal,

and the Czech Republic.

Even Apple's actual profits of 45-plus billion is about the same as the projected 2017 GDP

of Macao, and much higher than many nations on Earth.

How does Apple make this incredible amount of money?

Let's have a look at a few statistics concerning Apple's worldly successes.

Firstly, over one billion people currently use an Apple device.

Apple's best-selling product is its iPhone, and in itself this device had sold more than

one billion units as of July 2016.

In the first quarter of 2017, Apple reported its sales of iPhones to be almost 52 million

units, the most phones a company had sold except for Samsung.

Perhaps it's amusing then, that the 52 million iPhones sold in just a few months is close

to the number of people living in the country of South Korea – the home of Samsung.

In all, Apple sold around 212 million iPhones in 2016.

The Mac was selling anywhere from 4 to 5.4 million units a quarter in that same year.

As of April 2017, there were around 100 million active Mac users.

What does all this mean in terms of Apple's current worth?

It means a price tag of about 800 billion dollars.

It also means Apple has savings of around 250 billion dollars, most of which is held

in banks outside of the USA.

This is staggering for a company, but still nowhere near the number one global trading

company from yesteryear, which was the Dutch East India Company.

It's thought, in terms of dollars today, at its height the company would have been

worth 7 trillion dollars.

So, if Apple really was a country, how would it function?

To start with, there would be a huge wealth gap in that country.

The top Apple executives, which we could call the unelected leaders of the country, would

be taking the lion's share of wages.

In 2016, the base salary for top executives, or the vice presidents, was 2.7 million dollars,

but with awards and stock this meant those execs were paid almost 23 million dollars

each.

CEO Tim Cook was paid a salary of $8,370,000, which was 1.6 million less than he got in

2015.

Apparently Cook missed his targets…

Let's call this group the leaders and the top ministers in this decidedly undemocratic

nation.

Down the ladder are senior managers, with a senior director, according to Glassdoor,

earning a wage of around 280,000 dollars a year.

A Senior Product Marketing Manager will be paid around 180,000, an experienced software

engineer about 170,000, and an Information Systems Manager around 160,000.

If we remember, we are a country of around 116,000 people.

What are all the little guys being paid?

Apple Family Room specialists working in the USA are paid around 15 dollars an hour, but

they will also receive bonuses.

An inventory specialist will receive about 32,000 a year and a nurse at Apple will get

something close to 16 dollars an hour.

But these are US wages, and many of Apple's manufacturing plants are based in China.

We must state though, that most of these employees are not actually employed by Apple, but Chinese

manufacturing firms that make Apple products.

Apple indirectly employees millions of people, and we can't ignore that these people are

contributing to this very rich, small country.

Some of these factories making Apple products were once made infamous after reports surfaced

regarding them installing suicide nets so employees couldn't jump to their death.

Apple's fortunes, unfortunately, don't trickle down too heavily on the net-protected

Chinese workers.

According to a 2015 China Labor Watch report, employees at Foxconn and Pegatron factories

didn't have it easy.

70 percent of people interviewed in the report worked 60-72 hours a week and were paid less

than 2 dollars an hour.

They worked mandatory overtime, weren't paid for meetings, and due to such small wages,

many of them lived in cramped dorms close to the factory.

One undercover worker said he was asked to work 18 days in a row and sometimes 16 hours

a day.

He told the BBC, "I was unable to sleep at night because of the stress."

With this in mind, we can see why the iPhone makes so much money.

To put the unit together doesn't cost very much.

According to reports, the total cost to make a 32GB iPhone 7 is $219.80 for the actual

phone, and only another 5 dollars in labor.

A base model iPhone 7 will cost around $649, so this gives Apple a profit of $424 on each

of the many millions sold.

All kinds of costs and overhead will eat up that profit, but the iPhone is still a massive

generator of income.

According to an IHS Markit report, Apple makes around 250 dollars in profit for every iPhone

7 sold.

Bearing this in mind, if Apple was a country it would reflect most countries which have

an aggrieved group of people calling for more economic equality and better working conditions.

Apple is doing what any business does, and maximizes profits.

Countries have labor watchdogs, economic philosophers, social activists, etc, and Apple has corporate

and supplier responsibility guidelines.

In 2017 Apple reported that its suppliers now comply with a 60-hour maximum workweek,

and Apple said it also made sure 11.4 million workers outside the U.S. were trained about

their labor rights.

The question is, would you like to live in Apple the country?

WAS LIFE FIRST FORMED ON MARS WHAT IF… - Duration: 6:56.

WAS LIFE FIRST FORMED ON MARS WHAT IF

MATRIX WORLD DISCLOSURE

Life began on Mars before it arrived on Earth, sustains a major scientific conference, according

to bbc.co.uk.

According to new research, the Red Planet would have had conditions to support life

much better than the Earth several billions of years ago.

The evidence is based on how the first molecules needed for life were assembled.

Details of the theory were presented by Prof. Steven Benner at the Goldschmidt meeting in

Florence, Italy.

Scientists have long wondered how atoms came to form for the first time the three crucial

molecular components of living organisms: RNA, DNA, and proteins.

Molecules combined to form genetic material are much more complex than the pre-biotic

precious organic soup consisting of organic (carbon based) chemicals that are supposed

to have existed on Earth more than three billion Years, and RNA (ribonucleic acid) is believed

to have been the first to start the life on Earth.

The idea that life first appeared on Mars and was then transported to Earth through

meteorites was also sustained before.

But Professor Steven Benner of the Westheimer Institute of Science and Technology in Gainesville

added the US This theory is another turning point of the Martian origin of the land biosphere.

In Florence, Professor Benner presented results suggesting that minerals containing boron

and molybdenum are key to assembling atoms into molecules that gave birth to life.

The scientist

argues that boron helps carbohydrate rings form pre-biotic chemicals so that the molybdenum

takes the intermediate molecule and rearranges it to form the ribosomes and hence the RNA.

This theory raises the issue of how life began on Earth since the Earth was an unfavorable

environment for the formation of the necessary minerals of boron and molybdenum. It is believed

that the boron minerals required to form RNA from the pre-biotic soup were not present

in the past in sufficient quantities in the past, and the molybdenum minerals did not

exist on the Earth in the correct chemical form.

Professor Benner explained that only when molybdenum became highly oxidized was able

to influence the formation of early life.

But this form of molybdenum could not exist on our early planet because three billion

years ago the Earth was receiving very little oxygen, instead, Mars had oxygen.

This is still evidence of the fact that life came to Earth through a meteorite coming from

Mars and that life did not start directly on Earth.

Mars had a stable soil 4.5 billion years ago, when the Earth still recovered after the impact

that led to the formation of the Moon.

It is obvious that in such conditions, the origins of life on Earth may be martians,

says Jay Melosh, a scientist at the University of Arizona.

Life

Also, the latest NASA expert conclusions are clear.

Martian conditions in the past have allowed life to exist, and the evidence is clear,

the New York Times writes.

Mars is very attractive from the perspective of a planet that could sustain life.

And were not just referring to the Gale crater, but many places on the entire planet,

says Dr. Grotzinger to the New York Times.

Moreover, according to the scientist at Westheimer Institute of Science and Technology in Gainesville,

Florida, these life-friendly conditions exist even now on Mars.

The oxidized form of molybdenum could not exist on Earth when life came out.

Three billion years ago, on Earth, there was very little oxygen, but on Mars, there was

more, says Steven.

The hypothesis promoted by Banner solves a paradox that has been confusing for scientists

for years.

They did not succeed in creating life forms using organic matter and heat or light, that

is, reproducing the conditions existing in the distant past on Earth, writes Daily Mail.

Instead of turning into life forms, these compounds change into something similar to

oil or asphalt, and so far the scientists had no explanation.

Recent analyses of meteorites on Mars have demonstrated the existence of a chemical element

called boron.

Steven thinks they will find there an oxidized form of molybdenum.

In addition, on Earth, the first life forms would have been covered by water, and water

destroys RNA, which is the first genetic molecule to exist.

Instead, there is less water on Mars than on the Earth a few billion years ago.

We have proof that we are all Martians.

Life appeared on Mars and came to Earth on a piece of rock, says Steven.

However, the Earth was the ideal planet for the maintenance and evolution of life, the

geochemist explains.

Recent scientists have learned that the Martian meteorites found on Earth are 4 billion years

younger than initially estimated, so Mars could still be a geologically active planet.

So far, 100 meteorites have been discovered from Mars.

Some are 200 million years old, others only 20 million years old.

The evidence leads us to think were all Martians.

Life started on Mars and an asteroid brought it to Earth.

It is a good fortune that today we are here, but it seems that Earth was a better place

for everything that means life.

Says Benner.

The specialist brings the hypothesis of panspermia.

Panspermia seeds is a hypothesis that the life that exists in the Universe is spreading

through meteorites, asteroids, and planets.

Panspermia states that life seeds exist everywhere in the Universe and that life on Earth (or

elsewhere) began when these seeds arrived here, possibly brought by a small heavenly

body.

Similar research is made if life on Earth can be further propagated into the Universe

by the same method.

But lets not forget, like all that can not yet be proved, is at the moment, just

a theory.

Princess Diana's lover Dodi Fayed was a cocaine fiend who trawled Studio 54,new book reveals - Duration: 5:25.

Princess Diana's lover Dodi Fayed was a cocaine fiend who trawled illegal gay clubs at dawn

looking for hedonistic highs, an astonishing new book reveals.

Fayed, who died in the Paris car crash with Diana almost 20 years ago, always had 'amazing

coke' when he set off on his jaunts to 'dangerous' parties in abandoned buildings.

The playboy was a regular at Manhattan's Studio 54, where supermodels, pop stars and Hollywood

legends got high on drugs and often had sex in hidden corners of the sprawling club, according

to Mark Fleischman in his new memoir 'Inside Studio 54,' out September 19.

'Dodi loved Quaaludes, good quality coke and hot women and he always had plenty of those,'

writes Fleischman, who owned the club between 1981 and '84.

The two men became so close that they regularly went scouring illegal clubs at 5am in what

was then one of the most dangerous areas of downtown New York.

Dubbed the 'dawn patrol,' the duo and a posse of celebrity drug-abusers, including singers

Liza Minnelli, Rick James and Joe Cocker, tennis ace Vitus Gerilaitis and Hollywood

giants Tony Curtis, Jack Lemmon, Robin Williams, John Belushi and Nick Nolte would take limos

to impromptu parties in boarded-up buildings.

'Dodi, son of Egyptian billionaire Mohamed Al Fayed, who owned Harrods of London at the

time, always had the most amazing coke,' Fleischman writes.

Crisco Disco – named for a brand of cooking oil used as a 'popular lubricant for gay men'

– was one of the posse's favorite haunts.

Fleischman writes that owner Hank Davis looked like a 'gay vampire…and took particular

pleasure in watching us snort a mixture of cocaine and ketamine, or Special K, a mild

hallucinogenic power he slipped into the mix unbeknownst to the crowd.'

Manic 'Mrs Doubtfire' star Williams spent most of his time in the DJ booth 'fascinated'

by the action on the dance floor below.

'He had an enormous appetite for coke and alcohol and appeared to mellow out somewhat

when high on coke,' Fleischmann says.

'Hank's special mix seemed to calm him down, making him less manic, more mellow and able

to relax and just enjoy himself.'

Recalling other posse members' drug habits, Fleischmann says Belushi was 'very funny but

had a mean streak when drunk and stoned.

I suspected he was freebasing.'

Oscar-winning Lemmon was 'witty and charming but seemingly extremely sad late at night

when speaking about his coke habit' and 'Down and Out in Beverly Hills' star Nolte was an

'absolute wild man.'

Fleischman says the posse attended similar parties several times a week and he graphically

describes having anonymous sex in the VIP area with a woman he'd met moments earlier

– something considered 'normal' in the pre-Aids era.

He also recalls one of his worst mistakes – a 'lost' New Year celebrating Dodi Fayed's

success as executive producer of the Oscar-winning movie 'Chariots of Fire' on his private jet.

'We were being entertained by several very attractive 'hot to trot' flight attendants,'

he writes in the book, which is published by Rare Bird Books in September.

The party continued in New York – and Fleischman's long-suffering girlfriend finally dumped him.

'I lost track of what day it was, forgot about my plans for later and partied through the

night in a suite at the Plaza Hotel with Dodi,' he writes.

'I wish I could remember some of the details of that night.

I know it was a hell of a party but I remember nothing – only the consequence I suffered

– losing a truly incredible woman who I had been crazy about.'

Eventually a drugged-out Fleischman checked into the Betty Ford Clinic, sold Studio 54

and now runs a health resort in California.

But the twice married father of one still fondly recalls his favorite celebrities in

the 323-page book, including Rolling Stone Mick Jagger and his friendship with socialite

Gwynne Rivers, who was just 14 when she started going to the club.

They were once photographed with their arms around each other – infuriating Jagger's

then partner Jerry Hall.

Jagger's ex wife Bianca and fellow Stones Keith Richards and Ronnie Wood were also regulars

at Studio 54, along with a roster of A listers including Jack Nicholson, Ryan O'Neal, Farrah

Fawcett, Cher, Goldie Hawn, David Bowie, Rod Stewart, Andy Warhol, Drew Barrymore, Heather

Locklear, Naomi Campbell, Christie Brinkley, Stephanie Seymour and Linda Evangelista.

Summing up his time at the club, Fleischman's writes: 'I was swept into a world of celebrities,

drugs, power and sex.

'I was the ringleader for nearly four years and I became intoxicated with the scene – bodies

gyrating on the dance floor, sex in the balcony and anything goes in the ladies lounge and

Rubber Room.'

He adds that the 'Sodom and Gomorrah scene' was possible because the club's nooks and

crannies were 'perfect for sexual interaction.'

Melania joins Ivanka on '50 Most Beautiful' list - but WHO was placed higher? - Duration: 2:18.

The annual list charts the top 50 most attractive movers and shakers in American politics.

Unsurprisingly, Melania, 47, was considered for this year and the former model was a shoo

in.

The Hill list her hometown as New York City and her party affiliation as Republican.

Writing about the First Lady, The Hill said: "Melania Trump has dined with heads of state

and focused on children's health issues as first lady, but also recognises there is a

need for down time."

They then went on to share a quote from Bella magazine in which Melania discusses her love

of chocolate and ice cream.

Reflecting on her style, The Hill said: "While life has surely changed for Trump recently,

the White House resident says her sartorial choices remain the same.

"'My style has stayed pretty consistent over the years,' she told Elle last year.

'I always wear what I like and what is appropriate for the occasion.'"

Melania was not the only Trump to make the top 50, and Ivanka, 35, secured a place too.

The First Daughter is described as "adjusting to life in Washington under an often-searing

political spotlight".

The Hill then noted Ivanka "practices transcendental meditation and gardens with her three children

on weekends".

But who was ranked higher by The Hill?

Luckily for the publication, they politely side-stepped the issue by putting the list

in alphabetical order.

Melania and Ivanka are both considered some of the most beautiful women in the world,

and Melania showed why recently as she stepped out in a pink floral dress in Ohio.

Melania showed off her toned arms in the sleeveless floral dress when she stepped out with Donald

Trump, 71.

The knee length hem flared out at the top of her legs, giving the dress more movement.

Her floral laser cut design was emphasised by the bright pink and yellow detailing on

it.

The high neck kept the dress looking elegant.

Bryan Cranston reveals hilarious moment he realised Breaking Bad was a hit - Duration: 3:07.

Bryan Cranston reveals hilarious moment he realised Breaking Bad was a hit

Bryan Cranston opened up about the success of Breaking Bad on Good Morning Britain today (July 28).

The iconic series ran for five seasons between 2008 and 2013, and his portrayal of chemistry teacher turned drug dealer Walter White cemented his status as Hollywood royalty.

Looking back at how well the show was received internationally, Bryan admitted there was one specific moment in which he realised the programme had become a hit.

He said: I think it was when the traffic signs that had arrows of where we were supposed to park our cars when we were on location – they said Breaking Bad – it was when they started being stolen by fans as souvenirs.

I think thats when we realised that the show was really having some kind of effect. You know, Breaking Bad was so well written – but then so was Malcolm in the Middle.

Bryan is now aged 62 but his career never really took off until he was in his 40s.

During his appearance on GMB, the actor admitted that while he is grateful for having the opportunity to have his big break later in life, it is bittersweet, as women rarely have the same chances in his profession.

He explained: Its great for me. I cant complain about it but I think honestly theres probably a double standard to that. Its a lot more difficult for women.

Theres an old phrase that says Hollywood eats women up in their 20s and spits them out in their 30s – thats because it is so harsh. Women definitely have a more difficult time.

When a man ages, we say hes becoming more dignified but when a woman does, we say shes getting older.

Bryan appeared on the ITV breakfast show to promote his new film Wakefield, which he stars in alongside Jennifer Garner and Jason OMara. He plays a character called Howard, a successful Manhattan lawyer that is struggling to cope with life.

After one particularly nasty row with his wife, he decides not to go home after finishing up at work and instead hides in the attic where he is able to watch his family without actually having to be part of whats going on.

He finds it fascinating being able to watch his life without actually being in it, Bryan added. And I think thats something everyone can relate to. Sometimes, we just want to stop the hamster wheel and press the pause button.

But when Howard presses the pause button, hes not able to unpress and re-enter his own life.

Bayern Munich star Renato Sanches was not on Man Utd's transfer list - Kaveh Solhekol - Duration: 3:02.

Bayern Munich star Renato Sanches was not on Man Utd's transfer list - Kaveh Solhekol

Manchester United tried to sign Sanches 12 months ago after the Portugal international starred with Benfica. However, the Red Devils sluggishness in appointing Jose Mourinho as Louis van Gaals successor ultimately cost them dear.

The teenager instead opted to sign for Carlo Ancelottis Bayern Munich but, a year down the line, his Bundesliga dream has turned sour. Sanches made just 25 appearances across all competitions but struggled to justify his £31million transfer fee.

His struggles in Germany - coupled with Manchester Uniteds need for a central midfielder - has led to talk he could be set for a move to England.  But Sky Sports man Solhekol has claimed the Red Devils did not originally have him on their radar.  "Another player who's been linked with Manchester United is Renato Sanches, who is at Bayern Munich at the moment, he said.

"We're told he was not on their original list [of transfer targets]. "He's only 19 and he's been told he can leave Bayern for £42m.

"He won the award for the best young player at last summer's Euros and he has the same agent as Jose Mourinho – Jorge Mendes." Sanches, speaking after Bayerns 3-2 friendly win over Chelsea yesterday, confirmed he wanted to leave the Allianz Arena.

But AC Milan - and not United - appears to be his preferred destination.

"Of course, I would like to play more thats why I want to change and go to a club where I would play more, he said.  "AC Milan is an interesting option.

If the opportunity emerges and the clubs can agree, I would like to know. "Im now with Bayern but when we go back to Munich from Asia, we will sit together and hopefully find a solution.

"Im young, I want and I have to play a lot. I think the chance to do so is greater in Milan than in Munich.".
