Which Country Invented Pizza? - Duration: 2:27.

Welcome to the History of Everything where we discuss the meaning and history

behind everyday words phrases and things, basically everything. Today is a personal

topic, we're talking about pizza beautiful magnificent perfect pizza but

who invented it? Hint, it wasn't Caesar big or little and who

likes Little Caesar anyhow? The first recorded pizzas were made by the foot

soldiers of Darius the great of Persia. If you've seen the movie 300, it's these

guys. No, not those guys these guys. If you're on the pizza diet you're not

running around the battlefield shirtless with a red cape on or at least I'm not.

The foot soldiers when not being killed we're apparently baking pizzas on the

front of their shields which is kind of a badass way to make pizzas. Of course

these were simple pizzas they weren't like Mazzio's meat lovers supreme or

anything more like bread cheese and dates and by dates I mean these not

these. Although Italy didn't invent the first

pizza, Naples perfected the modern pizza, mainly with the addition of marinara

which we all know kind of completes a real pizza. Marinara meaning the sea

because at the time sailors love pizza as I'm sure they still do if you polled

them. My one beef with Naples pizza, the crust. The Romans at the time loved thin

and crispy, my personal preference, but the people of Naples preferred thick and

chewy which I don't know about you guys but I'd rather have more stuff and less

bread but we can all agree the pizza is delicious

and should never be eaten with fork. That's at least a common ground I hope

we can agree on. What's your favorite kind of pizza? I'm gonna keep an open

mind on this although I have my preference I

Which riff Cliff Burton wrote for 'Master of Puppets'? - Duration: 4:06.

There are 11 Metallica songs with Cliff Burton mentioned in the songwriting credits

It means that Cliff had contributed to the solid structure. He wrote riffs or harmonies on which the further

orchestration developed and other instrumental parts were based on. His bass

arrangements didn't count because they came after the guitar riffs. Another way to get a songwriting credit in Metallica is

to put those riffs together. This is why Lars Ulrich is considered a

co-writer of all Metallica songs

except a couple. From different interviews and books, we know which riffs belong to Cliff: Anesthesia

(the whole solo), Fight fire with fire (the intro)

Ride the Lightning (the intro's harmony part)

Fade to black (the harmonized bridge)

Creeping death (also the harmonized bridge)

Orion (most of the composition), Damage inc. (the intro)

To live is to die (the interlude, at least). So, only one song is missing, and you know

which one from the video's title. In spite of my best efforts to find out which riff from Master of Puppets

was Cliff's, there is no single interview, which could give us the answer. So, how are we going to reveal the truth?

There are three ways:

to ask Metallica

(reason 2 was a stupid joke, so I deleted it)

Or figure that out by ourselves. We cannot ask Metallica now

So the only option remain is is to try conduct our own investigation

Let's do it

So how Cliff composed in Metallica?

There wee three main ways: 1) a song was based on his idea (For Whom the Bell Tolls, Orion)

2) He added an extra riff to extend a song (for example the intros): 3) and most of his riffs were harmonized

There are seven core riffs in Master of puppets

intro, main riff, verse, pre-chorus, chorus

interlude and

the bridge before the last verse. What do you know about who composed them?

The pre-chorus riff was written by Kirk Hammett, which we learn from the issue of Master of Puppets

The main riff could be Kirk's too, since it reminds one from Exodus

James's demo tapes tell us what he brought to the song: intro, verse, chorus and interlude, including the harmonized solo

Some of you assumed that could be Cliff

who wrote that. It would make sense if James never composed own harmony riffs, but he did

So, the last piece of the puzzle is the bridge riff, which is closing the middle section of Master of Puppets

It's so fleeting and

overshadowed by other riffs, that a lot of people forget about this awesome riff

But it's always been one of my favorite Metallica licks

Since this is the last riff

we haven't identified and it seems to be an extension of the song, an extra riff with a harmony

Perhaps, the bridge belonged to Cliff Burton. What do you think about that?

Do my arguments make sense? Demos songwriting - this is my favorite subject to

talk about. Thanks for watching. It's Andriy Vasylenko

Italian Greyhounds vs Whippets Which is Better? Dog vs Dog - Duration: 9:54.

You're Watching Animal Facts!

Italian Greyhounds and Whippets aren't just similar breeds, they're family!

So, there's a good reason why they are frequently confused.

There are some similarities between the two, which can be attributed to their shared sighthound

status as well as their shared origins.

But, we shouldn't mistake them, as they are quite distinctive breeds.

Let's compare the Whippet and the Italian Greyhound in our on-going series, Dog vs.

Dog.

Let's get started, but before we start, make sure to hit that subscribe button and

click the bell icon to become part of our notification squad.

History

The older of the two breeds is the Italian Greyhound, which despite its name does not

descend from the modern Greyhound.

Archaeological evidence suggests that Italian Greyhounds were bred as noble companions some

2 or 3 thousand years ago in the region that is now Greece and Turkey when the mighty Roman

Empire ruled in the Mediterranean, where archaeological digs have turned up small Greyhound skeletons.

The breed's original purpose has been lost to history, but the Italian Greyhound likely

served as a hunter of small game in addition to duties as a companion.

By the Middle Ages, the breed had made its way to southern Europe and was very popular

among the aristocracy, especially in Italy — hence where it got its name.

In the 17th century, the Iggy, as it is sometimes called, arrived in England, where, as in Italy,

it found many fans among the nobility.

Royal owners throughout the centuries include Mary, Queen of Scots, Princess Anne of Denmark,

Charles I, Frederick the Great of Prussia, and Queen Victoria, during whose reign the

breed's popularity peaked.

Unlike the Italian Greyhound, the Whippet is a fairly modern breed, not much more than

a couple of hundred years old.

The breed was developed in Northern England, specifically Lancashire and Yorkshire, most

likely during the late 18th century, by crossing Greyhounds with fast, long-legged terriers.

The result was a small, swift dog frequently used by hunters to hunt rabbits and other

small game.

The Whippet became popular with working men in Northern England, who spent their free

time seeing whose Whippets could kill the most rabbits or rats or which was the fastest.

Whippet races usually took place on a straight track that spread down roads and across fields.

The Whippets would chase a piece of cloth or rag, and the contests became known as rag

races.

Size

Italian Greyhounds are the smaller of the two, in fact, it is the smallest of the sighthounds,

standing 13 to 15 inches tall at the shoulder.

Their weight ranges from 6 to 10 pounds, with some as large as 14 or 15 pounds.

A Whippet can range between 18 to 22 inches tall at the shoulder.

Their weight ranges from 18 to 48 pounds, with females being smaller, averaging 29 pounds.

Coats and Colors

When it comes to appearance, size is not the only difference in these two breeds.

An Iggy's short coat looks glossy like satin and feels soft to the touch.

You'll find it in all shades of fawn, cream, red, blue, or black, either solid or with

white markings.

The Whippet's short, smooth coat lies close to the body.

It can be any color or color combination known to dogdom.

You'll see Whippets in black, white, red, fawn, blue, cream, brindle, with various combinations

of those colors and a wide variety of spots, blazes, and patches.

Both breeds are considered to have easy-care coats.

With either breed, all you really need to do is brush it when it gets dusty, and bathe

the dog when it's rolled in something smelly.

Be careful about cold weather.

Neither breed's short, single coat is well suited for cold weather climates.

Your pooch would rather be cuddled up under a blanket.

Personalities

Overall, either breed can be a loving family companion, even for novice owners.

Neither likes to be left alone for long periods of time.

The Italian Greyhound is sensitive, alert, smart, and playful.

They are affectionate with family, and love to snuggle with you and stick close to your

side all day.

Strangers may see a more shy, reserved side of this personality.

Amiable, friendly, loves to snuggle, quiet, and gentle at home, the Whippet is alert and

makes an excellent watchdog.

Guard dog?

Not so much.

Your Whippet happily greets any stranger.

The Whippet is very child-friendly.

The Italian Greyhound does okay around kids but is not as tolerant as the Whippet.

Both breeds are ok with other dogs and usually cats, but smaller pets such as bunnies are

a no-go, as they have a high chase drive.

The Italian Greyhound has an above-average tendency to bark, while the Whippet has a

low tendency to bark.

Trainability

Both the Italian Greyhound and the Whippet are good for new owners.

In intelligence, the Italian Greyhound has a slight advantage over the Whippet and tends

to be more focused and patient with training.

Although they're fairly clever, Italian Greyhounds have short attention span and a "what's in

it for me?"

attitude toward training.

But, neither breed is particularly independent or dominant, and with patient training can

learn all the commands you wish to impart upon them with rewards of food and praise.

This breed can be extremely difficult to housetrain.

Your Italian Greyhound may never be totally trustworthy in the house.

A doggy door can help, but having the dog live outdoors is not an option you should

ever consider.

Activity Levels

The Whippet is the fastest domesticated animal of his weight, capable of speeds up to 35

mph, easily outpacing the Italian Greyhound's top speed of about 25mph, which is still pretty

quick.

Both dogs are considered medium energy levels and require a fair amount of exercise.

Both need daily exercise and will enjoy romping and running in a fenced yard or on a leash.

Health and Lifespan

Both the Italian Greyhound and Whippet have an average lifespan of between 12-15 years.

Both breeds can have ailments, as with any breed, but overall, you can expect fewer vet

bills with a Whippet than with an Iggy.

Common ailments affecting the Whippet are eye disease and a blood disease that keeps

the blood from clotting normally called von Willebrand's Disease.

The Italian Greyhound has a whole list of common ailments, including eye diseases such

as Cataracts, Vitreous Degeneration, and Progressive Retinal Atrophy, von Willebrand's Disease,

Hypothyroidism, Allergies, Hip Dysplasia, Epilepsy, and Portosystemic Shunt, an abnormal

blood flow between the liver and the body.

Many of these health concerns can be minimized by selecting a good breeder if adopting a

puppy.

We encourage thorough research before acquiring a puppy of any breed.

Both dogs have drug sensitivity.

Sighthounds, including Whippets and Iggies, are sensitive to anesthesia and some other

drugs.

A normal dose for any other dog of similar size can be fatal, probably because of the

low percentage of body fat.

Choose a veterinarian who is aware of this sensitivity in sighthounds and will know how

to dose pooch.

So, which of these splendid sighthounds do you pick?

Let us know in the comments.

If you're considering one of these dogs or any other breed for that matter, remember

there are breed specific rescue organizations all over the world that are usually a Google

search away.

If there are other breeds you'd like us to compare, shout them out, we'll give them

a look.

What Raul Sanllehi told Arsenal fans which could explain shock Aaron Ramsey contract decision - Duration: 5:16.

Aaron Ramsey's contract situation is the major talking point at Arsenal right now after talks over a new deal dramatically collapsed this week

Negotiations have been ongoing for months between the club and Ramsey's representative and an agreement was believed to be imminent

As little as two weeks ago, but parties thought that Ramsey would sign a four-year deal, but Arsenal suddenly decided to withdraw the offer, effectively telling the Wales international he was free to leave

Arsenal will now listen to offers for Ramsey in January, but the midfielder may well wait until the summer and leave on what would be a very lucrative free transfer

Why Arsenal have decided to withdraw the offer for Ramsey after all be securing the deal following months of negotiations remains unclear, with head coach Unai Emery consistently saying that the situation is between the club and the player

But it could be that comments made by Raul Sanllehi at a recent meeting with the club's main fan groups paint a bit of a telling picture

The negotiations between Arsenal and Ramsey have been led by chief executive Ivan Gazidis along with contract negotiator Huss Fahmy

But Gazidis announced last week that he was leaving Arsenal to join AC Milan, with Sanellehi being promoted from head of football relations to head of football

That gives the former Barcelona director of football total power when it comes to transfer and contract dealings

So the timing of Arsenal's decision to withdraw the offer for Ramsey is interesting

Especially when you consider what Sanllehi said to supporters during the fans forum held before Arsenal's recent victory over Everton in the Premier League

Football.London has been told that Sanllehi spoke about him time at Barcelona, where he spent a decade as director of football before leaving for north London, and drew particular attention to the success the Catalan giants got from bringing academy products through to the first-team

A huge part of Barcelona's incredible success during the past two decades was led by products of the famous La Masia academy, with the likes of Lionel Messi, Andreas Iniesta, Xavi, Gerard Pique, Carlos Puyol, Pedro and Victor Valdes all coming through and becoming cub legends

Sanllehi highlighted that success and said he wanted to try and replicate that at Arsenal and spoke passionately about how if a squad possessed four or five players who had progressed through the youth ranks, the passion and love they have for the club can feed through to the other players who have perhaps come in from elsewhere

Those comments could suggest that he sees the likes of Emile Smith Rowe and Reiss Nelson as key to what Arsenal are going to do over the next few years

Ramsey, for all his quality and experience, does not seem to suit the system that Emery is trying to instil at the Emirates, but Smith Rowe and Nelson do, which could explain the sudden change in thinking at Arsenal in regards to Ramsey's contract offer

With the wage bill at over £200 million a year and without Champions League football, Arsenal are struggling to be a profit making business right now - unless they sell players

Mesut Ozil's new deal, combined with some high profile purchases such as Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Henrikh Mkhitaryan have put real pressure on an already hefty wage bill and that is limiting Arsenal's ability to throw more money around

Pressure will be eased somewhat in the summer when the new Emirates sponsorship deal kicks in and Adidas replace Puma as the club's new kit manufacturers, but even that extra money won't give Arsenal much leeway

Ramsey wants big money to stay and his advisors are well aware of the huge numbers that Ozil is taking away each month

They have not demanded parity with Ozil, but it understand they are looking for in excess of £200,000 a week

And with Ramsey not really fitting in when it comes to Emery's style and Sanllehi wanting to build up a team that has the academy at its heart, it could be that Arsenal have decided that keeping the midfielder is simply not worth it

Find Out Which James Bond Killed, Drank And Womanised The Most - Duration: 5:56.

Bond, James Bond, is known for many things, namely killing bad guys, drinking vodka martinis and sleeping with glamorous women

But which manifestation of Bond was most prolific? Well, you're about to find out, thanks to an interactive guide produced by Betway Casino

By analysing all of the data across the 24 films, Bond In Numbers offers all of the figures to answer your burning 007 questions

There have been six Bonds in total, which you are now going to list off in your head with ease

Got them all? Sure you did, but just in case you didn't, they are as follows: Sean Connery, George Lazenby, Roger Moore, Timothy Dalton, Pierce Brosnan and Daniel Craig

Credit: PA Connery is the longest serving Bond, having spent 4,348 days in the role

However, Craig will have surpassed the original Bond's record by the time the 25th film in the franchise is complete

But there's no point in being Bond if you don't kill a load of baddies, so who killed the most? Well unsurprisingly, Lazenby killed the least, registering a humble five kills in his one Bond film

Way out in the lead is Brosnan, who killed 135 baddies across his four appearances, while Moore takes silver with 90 kills

That said, Moore also takes the title for most peaceful Bond film, only killing one person in The Man With The Golden Gun, which was released in 1974

Indeed, Moore's Bond had less time for killing what with all his philandering, clocking up 17 dalliances over his seven films

Yet, as an average, this is bettered by Lazenby, who had three 'romantic liaisons' in On Her Majesty's Secret Service - which perhaps explains why he got around to so little killing

Together the Bond boys made time for 58 raunchy encounters when they were supposed to be saving the world

Credit: PA They also did a fair bit of drinking, with Craig's incarnation the booziest of the Bonds

In consuming 85 units of alcohol in his four films, Craig's Bond has drank the largest quantity of alcohol and has the highest average

In Casino Royale, he drinks 26 units of alcohol, more than in any other Bond film - no wonder he lost at poker

And for those of you banging your desk crying, 'I don't care about the killing or the women or the booze, tell me about the cars,' check this out - Bond has driven a total of 46 vehicles, almost two a film

Now that is thrilling. via GIPHY Whatever it is about the Bond films that you enjoy, the fact is, people absolutely do enjoy them

In total, when adjusted to account for inflation, the Bond films have grossed $16,315,134,284 (£12,422,261,668)

As for the actors, they have received very different amounts of cream from the cash cow

Craig has been offered $25 million for his role in the 25th film, compared to the $17,000 (£12,940) Connery was paid in 1962 for the first Bond film, Dr No

Hopefully Connery invested it in bonds, premium bonds.

With regard to the patients, I think that adolescents and patients who start to eat

out with friends or patients who start to travel with friends so they have not the support of

the family and so the APP can really help them to assume the right doses of enzymes.

Some parents found the application very useful because they felt to be supported, really supported
