Youtube daily life style Sep 29 2018

Hello there! Are you surprised that I didn't get a reaction video? I am suprised too.

This will be a vlog video. I will go to school today. I'm gonna tell you a little about my life and I'm gonna ask you for something.

First, I want something from you.

I feel very stressed right now.

I know, we don't believe in the same religion as most of you. We don't believe in the same God.

This is not important to me.

It is important that you want to believe in your heart.

And my request is relevant. Would you pray for me?

Would you please make good wishes for me from God that you believe?

If you do not believe in any God, can you make nice wishes?

Because I really need this

Actually, I'm having a hard time at school this time.

Lessons begin at around 8 am

I can come home at nine in the evening.

I really don't have time.

When I come home I sleep directly because I'm tired.

It is very difficult for me to take video and adapt to the lessons.

I do not know what to do. I hope good things happen.

I hope my life is regular. Hopefully.

I can do nothing more than do my best, study and pray.

I expect good wishes from you. I need to this.

It's 14.00 now.

I'm going to school a little later.

That's the first time i am going to university go so late.

That's it

We'll talk again when we go to school.

I'il show you the university.

I'll show you my life.

My life is so much fun.

I really don't know

In fact, this is not exactly a vlog video.

but like a vlog

We'll chat and talk about myself.

I'm gonna show my life and the surroundings.

Then I'll see you again.

I just showed you the little girls who did football practice.

When I saw them, I thought of Dangal. I wanna talk about this movie.

I watched that movie this morning.

And I love the movie.

Aamir Khan is one of my favorite actors.

As I recall, the most popular foreign actor Aamir Khan in Turkey.

I've watched all his movies. I didn't just watch the Dangal movie

I watched Dangal this morning.

I watch Aamir Khan movies when I need motivation.

I'm watching movies that will motivate me. I'm listening to songs that will motivate me

That's it

They make me feel happy.

Let's talk about Dangal. I like the movie.

The story of this film is taken from real life.

This movie is about two sisters and their fathers.

The effect of their fathers on their lives is explained.

Wrestling is the first woman champion in India.

It's about her life.

After the film, I read their life stories.

I looked at those girls' Instagram accounts

I followed her.

I don't know. I really liked

I think these people need to be modeled.

I congratulate them.

They had a hard life. They said to them, "You are a girl, you cannot succeed." But they did it.

I congratulate them

My scarf breaks down.

The wind's blowing. Autumn came. The weather is not actually cold. Aunts haha

If you haven't watched, I suggest you watch this movie. I need to go to school now

I am so bored. You see my picture...

I'm not taking your video.

Helloo. Again

I'm out of school I'm going home. And I finish this day here.

I'm going to school again. Let's see what happens today.

I'm on lunch breaks now.

It's 12 o'clock

My next lesson starts at 15:00. I have time now.

My friends haven't been to school.

I sit on the grass. I will read the book.

I have a time, now

I don't want to waste my time.

Let me show you the book.

Being unhappy

In this video I'm in search of constant motivation.

I feel good today. Thank God.

What do you do when you lose your motivation? Can you share it with me?

I watch movies or read books when I lose my motivation. You've already seen this.

I'm trying to win my motivation.

or I'm trying to dream.

I'm trying to gather myself and motivate myself.

I feel good today

There are a lot of people around and I'm shy

That's why I won't talk too long.

I just wanted to ask you what you were doing when you felt bad when you were looking for motivation.

In this way. See you again.

This is my university

Trees, greenery. I think they're beautiful.

Now at 8 am

Today is Saturday. We spent Thursday and Friday together.

I just woke up.

I just washed my face. My face is swollen.

I'm gonna start studying.

I want to talk about what I did yesterday.

I read a book. I had some work to do in the student affairs office.

I went back to class. I entered the lesson

Then we wanted to have a little chat with my friend. We went to the café together.

After that

We talked. My phone is closed, but I didn't see it.

My mother called my phone over and over.

After that

I came home

My mom said ''I was very worried. I've been so scared.''

I've never break her

I normally tell my mom, but I forgot yesterday.

She was very curious.

I need to study now. I need to study today and upload this video after editing

And we get up and do our mask.

I don't know what I show in the video.

This video ends here. I hope you enjoy this videoPlease tell me if you would like to see more vlog videos..

I like to take Vlog. In fact, I've tried to take vlog video before, but I failed.

It has never been good.

I hope it's a good video this time.

And you watch

Take care of yourself

Keep your motivation high.

Read the book and watch the movie. Goodbye

Rolling with the punches| Day in the Life - Duration: 5:19.

Oh, I forgot to tell you but yesterday I did a thing

In the vlog where oh gosh. Let me stop moving

Good morning, Mood Fam. Today is Wednesday

and we are

Not moving

It's like the first day that's kind of cold. So

I'm having a really hard time getting out of the bed because my blankets so long

The kids are killing each other in the background the sounds of motherhood

today I

Kind of just need to rest

because I feel gross I

Mean I didn't just wake up. I've been up for a while

Because the kids have been up for a while

but I'm just trying to like squeeze a little bit more time of rest in and

Then I need to my library because I put a book on hold

Even though I have a book that I'm reading right now. I put a book on hold and I want to look at that

but the library

The library near us has weird hours

And so today they're open from 12 to 8. So I probably won't be able to go in till after the kids in that

But that might be better because the Sun will be out

but yeah, it's like

Chicago weather is crazy

Yesterday was like 80 degrees and today it's 60 something so

That's not fun. Oh

Okay, I should probably start doing stuff I forgot to mention that

Yesterday I did a thing in the vlog and it's in the comment. No in the description box

But if you didn't read that from now on in every vlog

There's going to be an emoji hidden somewhere

And if you see it, then leave it in the comments which one it is

And the first person to comment will get like a shout-out

So that's fun. I saw it faith from life or forever changed in it

and I always thought it was fun and cute and I never won because I could never find it because I have the eyes of

an old bat, but

I thought it would be fun to do with you all. So yeah, keep an eye up

Falling falling like I

Got a little sidetracked in what I was supposed to be doing I

Was trying to render the videos from yesterday

so that by the time I come back it will be seamless editing things like that, but then I realized that

or Laci was getting a little full and I just wanted to go through the videos to make sure that there was nothing like

Super important or if there was anything that could be thrown away

and it's so cute going back and seeing like baby John Mark and like little Natalia and

A lot watching the clips not the actual vlogs, but watching the clips from the vlogs from like when we were moving to this apartment

And when I got my first camera, um, yeah, it's been really cool

So we haven't gone to the park

The kids

have not an out

And they are freaking out and John Mark is literally in his room

Screaming at me that he's sleepy but he refuses to nap

Yeah, I'm probably gonna go ahead and end the vlog here I'm just going through my youtube channel

editing some of the older videos trying to get you know, my thumbnails and things like that up to par or

At least uniformity they may not be good. But

Reflection for the day is to just roll with the punches. Whatever comes comes and can't really change that

You can determine how it affects you so

I'm gonna go and

Yeah, if you haven't already going with the subscribe button

If you want to hear more of my children screaming be more of our process and our journey as we grow as a family

[KICKSTART 3 of 4] HOW TO CHANGE YOUR LIFE - Duration: 21:16.

- Hey guys, how you doing?

Don't mind the seagulls behind me.

I'm actually at Manchester Media City

because just above me there, is the client I'm about

to go and see, and let me just double check.

This is a bit crazy, but it's 1:46, can you see that?

It's 1:46, 24th of September, 2018 and my meeting starts

at 2PM, and you know, I've taken this moment to come out

and make this video, because this is the second part

of this free video series,

and today it's all about changing your life.

And so what I'm going to do to really prove the point

and just hope this stays with you for the rest of your life

is film this video on the go.

I'm going to film it in and around my day,

as I go to client meetings, as I go home,

before tea is ready, after that meeting.

Just nipping in and nipping out

because I got to tell you something.

This is the most important thing you've got to understand

about changing your life.

Change doesn't happen tomorrow.

You're never going to get that free weekend,

that sabbatical you're waiting on, or that Christmas break.

It's all tomorrow.

It's not real, the only thing that really

exists is today.

And the life you're going to be living tomorrow

and in a year's time will be predicated on

the actions you take today.

(energetic music)

So honestly, this is the big thing

I want to get across about change.

You are what you do every single day

and the only way to change your life is to stop right now

and ask yourself, "What is my vision?"

"Where do I want to be 12 months from today?"

"What matters to me?"

"What do I want to be free to do in this world?"

"What do I want to be celebrating 12 months from today?"

And you've got to set your priorities

because what people are doing is, they're waking up and

they're using their inbox as their to-do list.

They're asking other people what's needed of them,

and it might not be that obvious, you might not wake up

and go "Oh, hey world, I've got a free day.

What do you need from me?"

But we're allowing the news, and managers and teachers

and parents and friends and inboxes and Facebook

and notifications.

All this stuff streaming in is setting our agenda.

It's setting our day and its determining our future.

And before we know it, a week goes by,

a month goes by, a year goes by, and we think

"What happened to my life?"

And so many people who I meet

who are in their 40's or 50's,

they say "It's too late, it's too late."

And I say you do not want to be saying that

when you're 70 or when you're 80.

You've got time for change.

Start today.

You've got to ask yourself, "Where do I want to be?"

"What matters to me?"

"What's my perfect day?"

"What would I love to be free to do?"

And then determine, okay, What kind of person

would be free to live that life?

What kind of actions would allow me

to live a life like that?

What do I need to do today,

to make that possible in the future?

And here's the thing, I've got loads of things on my agenda

Traveling down, I've got loads of emails, missed calls,

messages, all sorts of things, but what's the big thing

that's going to make

the massive difference to my future, today?

It's filming this video for you guys,

completing this video series and getting it out on

social media, so that's what I'm going to prioritize.

Okay, so I'm just finished my meeting,

and because I was in Media City,

we used to live somewhere called Eccles,

which is literally five minutes away

from where I've just been.

So I'm going to take you to a park

to tell you the next bit of the story,

and what I want to share with you in this video

is what it really took for me to get over depression

and manifest the life I'm living today.

So ooh, it's a meaty video.

(energetic music)

Mad excited, I literally used to come running here,

so one of the biggest things

that helped me get over depression was running,

and I used to run to this park I'm taking you to,

and I would "accidentally" bump into the dogs.

I was like crazy dog lady.

I'd bump into these dogs because I got such comfort

from these dogs, they were present, they were mindful.

They were so happy to see me.

I've always wanted a dog, and you probably know

I've got a little whippet now called Sasha

who's an angel, we love her.

Although she's very sassy.

And so the owners would go, "I'm so sorry,"

and I'd say, "It's okay."

And what they didn't know was that,

when they were walking off with their dogs,

I would literally burst into tears in gratitude

for that experience.

That's where I'm going to take you right now.

(energetic music)

So, for any of you stuck in a trap right now,

feeling depressed, feeling anxious,

what I'm gonna tell you, you have to tell me

if you've tried some of these actions

and they worked to help you change your life,

because they dramatically changed my life.

All right, are we on?

So, I've come to this park in Manchester.

It's about five, ten minutes away from Eccles

in the car, because when I had really bad depression,

we'll talk about depression first,

this is where I used to come,

I used to get my running kit on, as hard as it was,

and sometimes Alice had to drag me out of bed and say,

"Get out on a run, it will help you."

It was literally my medicine.

And I would come here to this park to run

because, and this is why, for one, green nature,

it feels good, two, you get a runner's high.

And I'm no doctor, so don't quote me,

but from what I've read, and what I've experienced,

running releases the same chemicals

that are present in antidepressants.

I'm not telling you to stop the antidepressants,

all I'm saying is, explore the power

that running and exercise can have

on that journey to feeling better.

And here's the thing.

You don't have to go from depression, anxiety,

hating your life, to,

"Oh, I'm the happiest person in the room, I'm cured,

I no longer have anxiety."

That doesn't happen overnight, it takes years.

I still get anxiety, I still have to use the techniques

that I've learnt to get over depression.

And something I would say to Alice is,

"I know how to get depressed,

I get depressed by sleeping in, eating bad food,

letting myself go a little bit and not looking after myself,

and looking how I wanna look,

how I wanna show up in the world.

Watching the news, whoa, major trigger for depression.

And not exercising.

I said to Alice, "If I know how to get depression,

I also know how to get out of it."

And the trigger for me, the run was a big one,

but I watched this video by Tony Robbins,

and he said, the most distressing thing I've ever heard,

he said, "Depression is a state of mind."

And I remember hearing him say this on the video,

thinking, "Who is this guy, how can he say that?

Clearly he's never had depression if he wants to say

it's a state of mind."

I felt like going over there myself and saying,

"Let me show you a state of mind!"

But the idea stuck with me, I thought,

"If it's a state of mind, I can change that,

I can change my state of mind."

So I started getting really curious about human behavior,

about what feels good, about what makes me feel good,

and I thought, "If I could just feel a little bit better,

a little bit better every day."

So I've come out on this run to this park,

and this is the thing I would do.

Okay, you're going to think I'm a crazy dog lady after this.

I would accidentally run towards other people's dogs, like

"Oh, this dog's bumped into me."

No, you've chased it halfway around the park,

didn't you, Lisa?

Yeah, because when the dogs came over to me,

and just wagged their tail and gave me their stick,

oh my god, it melted my heart.

And in those moments, I felt present, I felt connected,

I felt love, I felt safe.

And what I've later learned,

is that is the Law of Attraction,

that is manifestation.

(energetic music)

It's going into a vibrational state that feels good.

And if you can do that for a second in your day,

then maybe you can do it for a minute.

And if you can do it for a minute,

maybe you can learn how to do it for five.

And then ten, then 15.

And then all of a sudden, your whole day

works out that way, because

you know these tools and techniques.

Let me share with you first of all,

we'll talk about depression.

I want to share with you

two or three of the major tools

that helped me get over depression, really practical stuff.

By the way, oh my goodness.

I mean, I just feel calmer here.

It's beautiful.

Okay, a few things that got me over depression.

Number one was shutting up this voice inside.

So, I used to set my alarm for 5:00AM

so I could get up, and get cracking

and attack the day.

But instead of getting out of bed,

like I should have done, like I was meant to,

I would lie in bed, and I kid you not,

I'd go on the BBC News app for an hour,

reading all these terrible things happening in the world,

I would check all my emails,

I'd reply to some emails in bed,

I'd check all my bank accounts.

And this voice in my mind'd go,

"Lisa, you're such a loser, Lisa, you're a failure,

Lisa, you're fat, why even bother getting outta bed?"

And this voice, I thought was me,

I thought that was who I am.

I didn't realize, I am not my thoughts,

I am not that voice inside.

It's an intruder, it's our ego mind.

And it's there for a purpose,

it wants to keep us safe, by helping us to align

to what the world expects.

But the consciousness of the world is waking up,

and it needs people like me and you

to wake up, to uncover our purpose,

and shine our light in the world

so that we can help raise the consciousness of other people.

And that's how we're gonna change the world, okay?

Going a bit deeply there, we'll just pull it back

just a second.

Meanwhile, there's a little dog over there.

If he comes over, that's just gonna be perfect.

So what I had to do was, this ego voice that was coming up,

I remember I went to a Gabby Bernstein event

in London three years ago, and honestly,

I probably cried all the way down.

It was the hardest thing.

And I know that when I got to the event,

I cried the whole way through the event.

And this was three years ago.

And in the audience must've been like a hundred,

a hundred and ten people, not like the 500 she'd have

in the UK now.

And me crying, I was right opposite Gabby,

Gabby Bernstein I want to call her,

I was right opposite Gabby Bernstein,

and I could see that she'd noticed me crying.

And at the end, she goes, "Okay."

And I think she's amazing, she goes,

"Has anybody got any questions?"

And she looks at me, and I'm like,

"No, she's not looking at me," but I'm creating such a fuss,

I'm in tears, I was just squeezing my hand,

she was being so supportive.

Who am I?

I was like 30, crying at this event,

but everything she was talking about

was just touching my soul.

So she goes, "Any questions?"

I'm like ... No.

Ask somebody else, somebody else,

and people start raising their questions and

I've got a question, I know my question,

I wanna ask my question, but I haven't got the confidence.

And also, I'm a bit embarrassed,

maybe it's a stupid question?

So she literally fixes her eyes in my direction,

and goes, "Any other questions, I've got time for one more?"

And it was so gentle, before I knew what I was doing

I put my hand up.

And me and Alice were like,

we were in awe of Gabby Bernstein at the time,

we were just waking up to her spirituality,

and all these other ways of thinking.

And here I was about to have a conversation

with the woman herself, who we'd followed online,

we were doing her meditations.

So I put my hand up, I'm in tears, stage fright.

I wasn't as confident as I am now.

The mic comes over, and I'm thinking,

"What the hell have you done?"

And I go, "Hi Gabby."

And she goes, "What's your question?"

And I knew my question immediately.

My question was, "Gabby, is depression real,

and if it is, is it possible to get over it?"

And I felt just such a relief

for having asked that question.

And she smiled, and it was so warm,

and I thought, "It's okay, she's gonna answer."

And she said, "Yes Lisa, depression's real.

I know lots of people who suffer with depression

in varying degrees."

And I said, "Well, what am I gonna do about it?

How do I get over depression?"

And she went back to this idea of habits and rituals,

and things that serve you, and things that don't.

And she gave me one of the most important pieces of advice

I've ever had in my life, she said,

"Lisa, you can't just stop a habit that no longer serves you

but you can replace it with one that does."

That for me was a revelation,

I thought, "I can't just stop this negative voice

in my head, I can't stop the way I feel.

Maybe I should focus on replacing it with thoughts I want?"

And that was another step on my journey

to getting over depression.

So some really practical things I did.

As soon as I became aware of this voice in my mind,

"Lisa you're fat, Lisa you're ugly,

Lisa no one's gonna love you, Lisa, you're a loser,

Lisa, you're a failure."

Horrible things, that if you said them

to your best friend, it would actually class as abuse.

I was saying them to myself

before I'd even gotten out of bed.

So I wrote an affirmation, I wrote an affirmation.

And in this affirmation, said everything I needed to hear.

"Lisa, you're a strong, beautiful, confident woman,

you can have, be, do anything you want in life.

What you're seeking is seeking you.

This is your year, this is your month,

this is your day, get out there, and make it happen."

And even reciting those words makes me feel good.

In fact, I'm gonna paste the affirmation below,

because, I'd recommend you write your own,

but if you need to borrow one,

go ahead and take that one below.

So as soon as I became conscious of the negative thoughts,

that voice in my head, the ego mind,

I couldn't stop it, that's impossible.

But I could replace it with a voice I wanted to hear.

So I tuned in, and that's what I said.

And then also, if that wasn't enough,

because sometimes that didn't work,

I'd write 10 things I'm grateful for.

And with this, to get over depression, to help with anxiety,

to feel better, you can't just think about,

"Oh, I'm gonna do this," you have to do it.

You have to do the work, that is the journey

to becoming the person that reprioritizes what they do.

Morning, noon, night.

So I'd write in this gratitude journal

10 things I was grateful for.

And I wouldn't just write it,

I would write why I was grateful.

And I'd sit for a second with my hand on my heart,

and feel the gratitude.

So, as an example, I'm so grateful

that I've got a warm shower, because I get to clean off

and feel revitalized and go to my meetings fresh as a daisy.

Or, I feel grateful for Betsy, my dad's cocker spaniel,

because she always greets me, she's so excited,

she makes me feel love in that moment, it's great.

So I'd go through, every day, 10 different things,

and it's amazing what you can be grateful for.

The color of the grass, the wind in the air right now,

that's fresh and cool.

Autumn coming, winter coming, whatever it is.

10 things you're grateful for.

That's three practical things I did, running,

affirmation to drown out that negative voice,

and then gratitude, 10 things I was grateful for.

And honestly, I did a few other things.

Like I stopped watching the news immediately,

I've gotten rid of that app from my phone, ugh,

didn't want any of that in my life.

If the news is big enough, it will find you.

And you're better off researching

what you want to learn about,

rather than hearing the media take, because,

as they say, bad news is what sells.

And I started getting around high vibrational people, so

this is why I was so intent on reading these books,

on going to these events,

because I wanted to be around people who would lift me up

and not pull me down.

Okay, that's what I did to get over depression.

There is definitely more,

and if you're thinking about joining

DareToGrow (slashing sound)

The Online Course, so much of it is practical.

It's not talking about these things, it's "Go and do it."

Go and do the work and show the group that you've done it.

It's getting around those people,

it's learning these affirmations,

and using them, it's gratitude every single day.

But do you know what I hope,

just one idea I've shared with you today helps you,

helps you realize it's possible to change,

it's possible to get over anxiety and depression

but don't just listen to me, do the work,

and your life will change.

Now we've gotta get back in the car,

as we've parked over there, behind that squirrel I can see.

(energetic music)

All right, how about this?

This is Longsands Beach.

I'm back, because this was a major part of my dream,

being able to run along the beach with my dog.

So in this part of the video,

I wanna talk to you about manifestation.

How do you manifest your dreams?

So with manifestation,

it isn't just asking for it and waiting for it,

because I remember reading books years ago, eight years ago,

and thinking that if you asked for something

you could just sit and wait, and it would appear.

And I would literally do the exercises,

imagining the checks landing on my doorstep,

imagining my new life.

And yet, it never appeared, and I didn't get it.

And the truth is that manifestation is just

bringing out what's inside you,

but that's not gonna happen by magic,

(speech drowned out by wind)

It's so windy on the beach today, we've had to move,

but it doesn't matter, this still works, so,

I wanna talk to you about manifestation,

and what it really takes to bring your dreams to life.

And what you've gotta realize about manifestation

first of all is, it isn't some magical process,

it's logical.

Everything that ever exists in the world started as an idea.

It started in somebody's mind.

A vision, an idea, a wish, a dream.

And the way they brought it to life was through action.

They took action that was aligned to it.

But here's some things you've gotta understand.

First of all, it takes way longer

than anybody online ever tells you

to change your life, figure out why you're here,

make a living doing what you love.

It's taken me two to four years, so three and a half years

it's taken me to arrive at this moment

where I'm making videos, I've got this online course,

I've got this community.

But if you follow my story,

if you remember the story from the beginning,

hasn't it really been a journey of 10 years,

and going the wrong way, feeling it wasn't right,

making the change, and coming back around?

So you've gotta give your project time.

Second thing you need is a bold and compelling vision.

If your vision isn't bold enough,

isn't compelling enough, you're never gonna stick it out.

You've gotta want what's on that piece of paper.

Third thing is action,

and nothing ever came to life without action.

And I think I said maybe in the purpose video,

that we've gotta co-create with the universe,

so you figure out your purpose,

you start following your intuition,

you get these ideas you've gotta act on,

you've gotta follow them through.

So you need to take action on whatever comes up,

and that is how you manifest your dreams.

And we are manifesting every second of every day.

We're manifesting things we want,

we're manifesting things we don't want,

but our external reality is a pure reflection

of our internal belief system.

Whatever is turning up for us in our outside world

is coming out because it's something we believe

or it's something we're allowing,

or it's something we're unwilling to face and change.

And to manifest what you want,

you've gotta be clear, what is it, what do you want?

Then you've gotta identify the feeling associated with it.

So, let me give you an example to kick this off, okay?

One of my visions is to go running along the beach

in Ibiza, owning a villa with Sasha, with Alice,

and that'd be my life.

To have got freedom to live abroad, live in the UK,

the financial freedom as well to not worry.

To own that villa, own a property in the UK,

travel back and forth, in the car now,

because I don't want to put Sasha on a plane,

and that'd be my life.

Now if I come running on the beach in Tynemouth,

I've ticked off so many of those feelings.

What you've gotta understand about manifestation,

and I'm talking fast, 'cause I love it,

what you've gotta understand is

it's all about feeling and action.

It's all about feeling and action.

So think about something you want in your life,

think about what's in your vision,

how do you wanna feel, what do you want in your life.

And what's the feeling that goes with it?

And what's the closest you can get to it here,

right now in this moment?

Because if you think about it,

running along that beach in Ibiza is the exact same feeling

as running along this beach in Tynemouth.

Like, to run along the beach with Sasha,

feel gratitude for that moment, get in that energy state,

that freedom, that energy, that nature,

and let that expand, that is how you manifest your dreams.

But you keep taking action, action,

to let that feeling expand,

and step into the person that can have that life,

because there's no way that I'm gonna wait

until I get to Ibiza and all of a sudden think,

"Oh, now it's okay to go running on the beach."

No, I don't have to wait, I can do it now, today.

So ask yourself, in your dreams ... Dogs are barking!

So ask yourself in your dreams with your vision,

what's the smallest way you can step into it today?

What's the easiest thing you can do today

to start experiencing that life,

because I'm telling you now,

you start stepping into character,

you start pulling that vision towards you,

you start seeing what's possible

and everything starts to expand.

So just in case that doesn't make sense,

I really wanna stress this, ask in your life,

"What is my vision?"

"What do I want with my life?"

Do you wanna move abroad?

Do you want a dog, do want a new car,

do you want your own business?

And ask, how can I experience that today?

Let's say that money's tight,

and you wanna feel pampered, and you want a life of luxury.

Well, why don't you get a few friends around

and have a pamper session at home?

Because the feeling is the same.

It's the feeling we wanna generate.

We wanna come into alignment with that feeling,

vibrationally, and let it expand.

And when you think about it,

wouldn't it be ridiculous to wait until I got to Ibiza

because if I'm not running now,

I'm not gonna start running in Ibiza.

You've gotta become the person today,

and then watch your life unfold.

I'll give you another example, okay?

And this is why gratitude is so important.

This is subtle, but people don't understand.

Let's say ...

Let's say you wanna new car, okay?

Let's say you wanna fancy BMW

or a Mercedes SLK or a new Jeep.

And you're driving some crapped out banger

or some old car that you're ashamed of,

if you get into that car,

and every time you get into that car

you feel shame, disappointment, anger,

think about the feeling you're generating,

because what you feel expands, what you feel is your life.

Like, there's nothing else, other than what we feel

and what we focus on.

You get into that car.

"I hate it, I'm so ashamed."

You park around the back.

"Oh, I hate it."

Those feelings are what expand

and you're actually giving out

a vibration to the universe

of disgust, of disappointment, of letdown.

What if you got into that car instead, and thought,

"Wow, I'm so lucky to have a car,

to be able to drive anywhere in the world.

Because not everybody has a car,

not everybody can afford a car.

And not everybody can drive

anywhere they want in the world in their car."

And you think, "Do you know,

it's not the full expression of who I am,

I know I can do a little bit better than this.

But for now, this is pretty good."

And then think about how it's gonna feel

to step into the car you want, imagining as you approach,

visualize the car you want, smell the new ...

I was gonna say leather, but I'm vegan,

so that would be inappropriate.

Smell the new car smell, and really visualize

and fantasize and experience about being in that car.

Isn't that a better vibration to give off to the universe?

Wooh, it's been so windy, I hope we got that footage okay.

We're not gonna know until we get back to the studio.

But anyway, thank you for watching this video,

I know it's a bit longer.

One more coming your way

on how to make a living doing what you love.

Watch out for it, because it is a corker.

See you in the next video.

피부탄력 SOS! 생활속 탄력케어 함께해요✨구독자 이벤트! Anti-Aging Skincare & Lifestyle 안녕이쁜씨 - Duration: 6:09.

Hello, Pretty! I'm Subin and welcome back

I'll be talking about how to keep your skin younger

It's not just about skincare routine today,

I'll be sharing some lifestyle tips as well

After 25, our skin starts to age drastically!

I've also noticed some signs of aging on my skin

Aging can show up in many different ways

I've seen overall changes to the structure of my face

especially around my chin and face shape

Pillow marks seem to last forever

I've also noticed wrinkles and loss of volume

around my eyes and mouth that I thought I'd never have!

I also have a lot of unhealthy lifestyle habits

that worsens everything...

I often work late at night, which means lack of sleep

and keeping a healthy diet isn't always easy

I think it's pretty much the same for you guys!

While we're even unaware, our skin is aging every moment,

which means less volume, elasticity and radiance...

If you have such skin concerns as I do,

you should start your anti-aging/firming skincare routine

before it's too late!

Over the past few years, I've been trying out

many different firming/lifting products,

and for today's routine, I'll use my all time favorites

If you've been subscribing to me for a while,

you would probably know this product

isoi Intensive lifting Serum

I've recently revisited this serum and I love it!

It's a certified brightening/wrinkle reducing product

Usually, anti-aging products with actives tend to be rich

But this one is very lightweight and hydrating

My skin can get really dehydrated as it starts to get cold,

You'd probably love this if your skin is thirsty like mine

It's very hydrating from inside!

I'd like to recommend this product those who are

concerned about loss of elasticity with less firmness

It's also great for even, brighter skin!

Like I said, it's a certified brightening skincare

After the long summer, my skin has got more dark spots

especially around my cheekbones

(Sep 11) which was very annoying, and

(Sep 24) somehow it seems to be working for me,

so, I've been using it constantly since

To reduce your dark spots efficiently,

you should treat them as soon as they appear

What I also like about this isoi Lifting Serum is that

it doesn't roll off under my makeup,

which keeps me revisit it over and over again!

Now, let's move onto isoi Intensive Lifting Spot

As you can see, I've been using it religiously!

I'm not a big fan of jarred products, so I'm very happy

with the packaging of this product, it's hygienic!

Its metal applicator works great as a mini massager

Take a desired amount of the product,

focusing on the areas with less firmness

and massage it with circular motions

With the little massager, it absorbs better and

I find it very relaxing - great for tired eyes

My eyes get often puffy regardless of the time throughout the day,

I like sparing some minutes and massage to get rid of it!

(Sep 11) I had some milia appeared under my eyes lately,

caused by testing out an eye cream from other brand

(Sep 24) and with isoi Lifting Spot, I've never had

white bumps under my eyes caused by it,

so that's what keeps me going back to the product

As you know, layering skincare is the key of my routine

As the isoi Lifting Spot has rich texture that's not too thick,

it goes really well with Lifting Serum from the brand

First, hydrate with isoi Lifting Serum, it softly melts onto the skin

then, seal it with isoi Lifting Spot with more emollients

Skin feels firmer from inside,

while fully moisturized at the same time

As the isoi Lifting Spot is very gentle and moisturizing,

sometimes I'd just slap it onto my whole face!

I love it!

You know I'm very interested in skincare ingredients

I generally like isoi products as

they're always all about great, natural ingredients

Both isoi Intensive Lifting Spot and Serum

have Bulgarian Rose Oil as their main ingredient

Talking about ingredients can be a little boring,

but bear with me for a second!

I did some research on Bulgarian Rose Oil,

and I found that this precious oil helps

other anti-aging/moisturizing ingredients

penetrate better deep to our skin as the particles of the oil is very fine

The two products I've mentioned today

works great to deal with dehydration/dryness

So regardless of your skin concern,

consider them as your regular autumn/winter skincare

Like I've gone through over the past few years,

loss of skin firmness becomes visible all the sudden!

If you haven't started your anti-aging routine,

don't wait till it's too late, and be persistent!

Also, switching to healthier lifestyle would help a lot

such as having good amount of beauty sleep,

healthy diet and drinking an adequate amount of water

Please Subscribe, Rate and Leave Comments!

If you have any questions about products or so,

feel free to ask me in the comment!

Also, tell me know about your anti-aging/firming routine!

See you!

7 Tips for Elegant & Classic Looks in Fashion & Style, Business, Parties & Casual, Women over 50 - Duration: 17:26.

Hey awesome ones so sometimes don't you just kind of want to step it up a notch,

maybe you're going to some event and you want to look a little more chic, a little

more classy, maybe a little bit more elegant. Well I have seven tips for you

in this video and I really, really tried to think about the seven tips by using a

lot of things that maybe are already in your closet or also maybe purchasing a

few things, but they won't really break the bank. So you know what? It all starts in just a few seconds.

So as I mentioned I have seven tips for you right now and this very first one

you might even find in your closet right now and be able to put it all together.

It's the classic and elegant black-and-white look and as you can see

it's also very elongated because it is you know the black really helps to make

you look thinner and elongate the look. As you can see, I have a crisp white

shirt. Make sure it's white and not yellowed, but I have a crisp white shirt

underneath and of course the jacket over top I paired this with a pencil skirt

and I find that look really really nice, but of course you could use a stovepipe

pant or something along those or trouser looks, also I have black hose and

I also have put on a pair of black pumps. Now these black pumps have a little

shimmer of gold in them which also really helped to make it a little bit

more elegant and I just want to show you one more thing here and that is I'm just

gonna grab a white....this is a white kind of white and black polka dot and striped

scarf and you could also if you didn't really have the white shirt available or

you didn't want to run out and buy something like that you can also add

this with maybe a black top underneath. And again give you that ultimate look of

chic, classy and elegant. So I'm going to keep this outfit on, but I want to talk

about my second tip and that is purses So if we look over here we'll see that I

have added a very..... it's kind of a big purse but it's also a very thin purse

and it makes the look look really elegant.

Now you're probably guilty of this, I was guilty of this for like over 20 years,

where I'm just gonna change the purses out a

little bit and this is what I used to carry around, just you know what if I

didn't film my purse, I would make sure I put I don't know hair brushes and

everything else just to really fill it all out and of course it was really

weighing on me because it was so heavy, but you can also see that it's kind of

taken the sophistication and the elegance away from this look. So let's

toss that to the side there and let's go with something that's not just all

bulging and and and thick and go for a thinner look purse. You could also even

go for a smaller purse than this and actually I did a video on.....I use the

smaller purses now on how I get a lot of stuff in a very small purse. I'm gonna

put that up there for you so that you can take a look at that video, but it

really makes the the look look much more sophisticated this way. Oh by the way on

that black purse you might have noticed I had black and white tassels on it so

nowadays you can go to an accessory shop and you can buy these little accessories

to put on your purse and it really helps to kind of bring the look together. And I

just thought I'd mention that. Now number three. You know those times when we're

invited to maybe a gala or some party, fancy schmancy party and we want to wear

a little black dress like this or you know maybe what we're wearing is a

little red dress like this. Anyway my number three tip would be, you gotta you

know, unless you're super thin you really want to watch those panty lines and some

of those bulges and things like that so underneath this outfit what I have and

I'll just kind of show you here are shapewear panties and I really love them.

They're fantastic and they go right up the waist, so they keep everything kind

of held in there. So there you go with that

and also another trick about this is that and believe me this is

happened to me, panties are fine the shapewear panties are fine if you're

kind of sitting and all that sort of thing,

but if you're dancing around they tend to roll down. So what I have found here

and this looks a little odd but basically what it is is shapewear with

straps on it so everything stays. Nothing rolls down and what I absolutely love

about this is that you can wear your own bra inside it so I'll just sort of show

you where the bra would go there and it's absolutely fantastic and I do know

that a lot of these things are kind of hard to find. So what we've done is we've

really really searched and we have found links for them for you. Just check out

our description, it'll go back to our blog and we'll show you a lot of these, a

lot of the items like the shapewear, panties I found exactly the same brand

some are a little bit maybe a different brand, but very similar to what I'm

showing and so you know most of them are on Amazon. You don't pay anything extra for

them, but we make a little Commission hey I'm required in all of these videos to

tell you that you know we make a little bit of Commission, but I'm so happy to do

that because you guys you're awesome. That little bit of Commission really

helps us to keep on making these videos. So we we really really appreciate it. You

know what some of you do stay on Amazon or I don't know maybe you go back to

Amazon on our links the next day and you're buying groceries and I'm seeing

kids books and all kinds of things and so you're you're really really helping

out that way and you know, just let me know also in the comments that you are

doing that because a shout out to you guys, you're just amazing and I wanted, I

just want to know because I see the sales but yeah let me know if you're

doing that really appreciate it. So what are we on

right now. I'm rambling I know. Number four. Let's get to number four. So number

four is invest in a really good coat. Now over here I looked everywhere for a

camel coat about three years ago. Now I know they're everywhere in the

stores, but I just found that the camel color look of a coat was so elegant and

I really wanted to buy it, but they're really easy to find these days this

particular coat is an investment piece it is made of wool and cashmere. Now

you're probably saying to yourself, whoa whoa, whoa ,you said this wasn't gonna

break the ban. Well you know what instead of buying four or five cheap

coats I buy maybe a couple of really good coats and I take care of them you

know. I don't go out with these things in the rain and I bring them home and in

the wintertime you know I've got them covered up in bags and that sort of

thing and I just find that if you invest in something and you work it out yearly

you find that you know it works out to actually be a really good investment and

a good budgeting sort of thing. I've also if you don't like the camel color I've

also seen these in red and royal blue. I mean they're absolutely beautiful so

that's going to be my my next tip that I just mentioned. Number four is invest in

a really really nice coat. Now let's take a look at what I have going on

underneath this look. I call it the Audrey Hepburn look. Again very chic very

elegant. I've paired this with a turtleneck and some stovepipe pants,

black pants again that elegant look underneath and the slender look of black

with this. I decided to wear a black kind of kitten heel pump, but also I'll just

grab them over here if you really want to do the Audrey Hepburn

look you could go with some ballet shoes not slippers, ballets shoes here and the

other thing I wanted to say is that sometimes of course you got to take your

coat off and you might just not want to be there all in the Audrey Hepburn.....you

know, just all-black look. So I also have which is really really popular right now,

an animal print this is kind of like a leopard print of some kind and I wear

the scarf and of course that will really look nice when you take off your coat

and you have that kind of look going on. Oh and by the way maybe you're sort of

looking at these coats and saying hey I don't even live in a winter climate, you

know it's warm all year round and if that's the case and even if it's not, I

did a video on Parisian looks which is again tray chic. Tray elegance. And I'm

going to put a link up there for it, so if you're in the warmer climates it'll

show a few more extras there and even if you're not Parisian looks you know, such

as....such a great and classic kind of style. So number six is get a beautiful

statement necklace. As you can see I'm wearing a beautiful blue statement

necklace here and those are not real gemstones on that necklace. These days

you can find some amazing either handcrafted or or whatever, but there's

just so many styles of these beautiful necklaces out there and I'm just going

to do a presto change-o here because what I want to show you now is also this

is not real gold. If you can afford real gold, good for you, but

this is again more of a costume jewelry gold necklace and you can't go wrong

with this kind of look, it's just absolutely elegant the gold necklace

there and you know just adds to the sophistication. Just make sure it's not

turning your neck green okay and you'll find out in a very good short period of

time whether that's doing that or not. Hey I want to ask you something. Do

you like my makeup that I'm wearing in this video? Because what I did was I put

on....I'm really enjoying this.....the full L'Oreal makeup. I did a make up video. I

have not used a lot of this makeup before and I'm gonna put the link up

there because I really quite like it. I've done something different with my

eyebrows and it's really really hot in here and as you can see I'm not melting

and neither is my makeup. So if you like that I'm going to put the link up there.

Another thing that I just want to mention at this time too, is that Bill

and I are so happy and it's because of all the subscribers that we have that Amazon

has given us a storefront. And I got the makeup there....we have kitchen appliances

that we love, all kinds of things....things for the home and you can find it at

amazon.com/shop/awesomeover50 So if you're saying hey I want to get

some of that makeup or whatever that's someplace else that you can take a look.

And soon we're gonna have if it's not up already, gifts for her and gifts for him.

So some of our favorites that we would either like to give or also get. So yeah so

check that out. Now oh I'm on number seven. Last but not least.

So my next tip is the most important elegant tip that there is. I think it's

probably the most important fashion tip period and that is your posture. You know

when you have really good posture you exude

confidence. If you're wearing that dress you're you're pulling it off much more

elegantly and our Mom's were right. Sit up straight and unless you have health problems,

which I know you know some of us do, but if you don't have the health problems my

gosh I remember when I was I went into grade 9. And over that summer I shot up

to 5 feet 8 and a half inches and I was so tall all of a sudden and I used to

slouch around like this because I wanted to be down with the other people. My mom used to

just say, stand up straight, stand up straight and so I did and now I feel

that I have that the way of caring....well I was still in modeling as well, but I

really have that way, where you know, I do put my shoulders back and stand up

straigh.t So now I have been going to a lot of shows you know health shows home

shows that sort of thing and I found this amazing product and I'm going to

show you over here kind of what I found. It's a brace that you wear and now you

probably wouldn't wear it under your elegant dress, but you would wear it

around the house and I've talked to some of the inventors of products like this

and it basically keeps your shoulders back. You tie it a little bit it's kind

of like shapewear actually and it helps you especially if you're you know

walking around or standing around maybe you're going for a walk to the store and

you can wear this very very inconspicuously underneath your

clothes. So you know as far as I'm concerned this is something that it's so

important and if you found that over the years you're slouching a little bit more

we're going to find that we're gonna have a link for it. I've already made

sure that Amazon has them and why not you know we we sometimes do this for 20

or 30 years and then you know maybe mom's not around to tell us to sit up

straight but I am. So I think that's a really really

important tip there and all the best with that. So on the other side of the

spectrum....he's not looking too elegant these days our little scrap-a-muffin.

Yes you're looking a little bit scruffy. He definitely needs a haircut but anyway

Hurricane's here to say....to give me kisses, but also say a very big hi or maybe it's

a woof to you guys for being our subscribers. So thank you so much for

that and hey if you're not a subscriber there's a button down there and also

ring that bell and you'll be notified of our other videos that come out and they

come out on Tuesday for fun and oh what else do we have there Hurricane. We have

comments. So let's let's share all of those ideas and I guess in the meantime,

you have and we'll see you later. Everyone's invited to subscribe and join

STOP Wasting Time Online - 10 PROVEN Tips To Reclaim Your Life | RMRS Life Skills For Men - Duration: 8:15.

10 Tips To Stop Wasting Time Online [0:00:00]

So, a friend of mine hired a woman to sit next to him and slap him if he got on Facebook

or other distracting websites.

I think it's a bit extreme, but I think we can all agree that we're wasting too

much time online.

So, how to fix this problem?

Guys, that's the subject of today's video.

[Music] Oh, and before I get into these ten tips,

guys, stick around until the end, I've got a bonus tip you'll absolutely going to love.

Tip number one to stop wasting time online.

Get rid of your power cord both for your computer and for your phone.

What am I talking about?

Setting up an artificial time limit so that you stop wasting time and you focus on what's

important because the clock is ticking.

That sounds too extreme?

Okay.

Well, just simply grab a kitchen timer, a couple of bucks there.

We're talking about the Pomodoro Technique where you actually set a timer and then, hey,

you've got to get it done in twenty minutes, you've got to get it done in thirty minutes.

You're gaming the system so you're focused on what needs to be done and you avoid distractions.

Tip number two.

Go old school.

Paper, pen.

A lot of your work can still be done like this.

You've got to share it with people electronically after you're done, simply take a picture

and send it out to people.

Next up, don't co-mingle.

You want to have work devices, you want to have personal devices.

But, here's the deal.

If you've got a phone and it has both personal and work on it, guess what?

You're never going to stop working and during your work time, you're going to start – you're

going to go into time wasters.

You're going to have fun, you're going to get into your personal things, you're

going to log into Facebook.

But, if you've got that separation, then you realized, hey, I don't actually have

to have the same apps and all those other stuff on each device.

And, for me, it's important that I'm actually I'm able to access social media.

I understand that is a need for my business, however I keep it over here on the work iPad

versus having it on my computer.

The next tip to stop wasting time online, reduce the number of hours that you are working

every single day.

And I know not everyone can do this, but if you work for yourself if you are an entrepreneur

or you have a job that is remote, think about how to condense that time.

Because if you give yourself fourteen hours a day to work, well, guess what?

You're probably not a hundred percent productive that fourteen hours, maybe like six hours,

so why not work only those six hours and get done what needs to get done.

Now, gents, I have to admit, I am not perfect when it comes to this.

I have wasted a lot of time online and I hated it whenever I was worried about my online

security.

I'm traveling around the world I've got to be able to access PayPal from airports.

I'm in a country that it's just not very secure in my opinion and I've got to be

able to access my bank accounts, my emails, and I was spending a lot of time trying to

figure this out.

Guys, I now use ExpressVPN, the paid sponsor of today's video because I absolutely love

what they do.

And that is they secure your data with a virtual private network.

That's what VPN stands for.

It's a lock that goes around your information and it protects you from snooping eyes.

You got people out there that are, okay, they're going to gather your information and they're

going to sell it.

That's the nice ones.

The bad ones, they actually go in there and it can hijack your information.

So, what makes ExpressVPN one of the best options out there?

Guys, it comes down to the fast speed.

We're talking consistently faster than any of the other VPN services out there.

And, locations, they're in ninety four countries giving you plenty of options to choose from,

24/7 customer support, apps for every device.

Guys, easy to use, we're talking one click.

No activity or connection logs.

I absolutely love this company, I've got it installed on all my devices.

That's less than $7 a month, 30-day money back guarantee and you can get three months

free when you sign up for their yearly service.

Take back your internet privacy today and find out how you can get three months free

by clicking on the link in the description.

That's ExpressVPN.com/RMRS.

Again, ExpressVPN.com/RMRS for three months free with a one year package.

The next tip for avoiding online time wasters, turn off notifications.

In fact, turn off your phone.

Yes, I know that sounds extreme, but simply turn it off when you don't need it, when

you're not expecting calls.

Guys, most emergencies believe it or not, they're not going to happen when you've

got your phone turned off.

You could also just simply turn it on silent.

Use the airplane mode.

So many different ways that you can stop this thing from buzzing from jumping into your

life and sucking you back into the internet where those time wasters are just waiting

for you.

My next tip to stop wasting time online, do not save passwords on your computer.

You should have to manually enter your passwords every time.

I know, it's a hassle, right?

It's a pain in the butt.

And guess what?

If you have to do that, you are much less likely to just randomly access that social

media site or go over and distract yourself here because there's a little bit of work,

there's a little bit of barrier and that barrier right there can save you from getting

sucked down that rabbit hole.

The next tip to stop wasting time online, change your environment.

Our environment has a huge effect on how we behave and how we feel.

And if you're stuck in an office at home, there's no one around you, guess what?

You've got no one that's holding you accountable.

Not that going to a coffee shop you can have anyone like that's going to say, hey, you're

browsing on Facebook.

But, it is something, hey, I'm at some place new, I'm able to focus in and I found – I

had a café I used to go to that had no internet and it just simply allowed me to focus in

on what I needed to get done.

[0:05:06] My next tip to avoid online time wasters is

to schedule personal events throughout the day that are with other people.

And I know, this sounds counterintuitive, but here's the deal is that you can only

focus a set amount of time.

And we've all got things that we have to when you have to do them with other people

whether it's going to the gym whether it's meeting your family for a meal at lunch whether

in the afternoon it's meeting up with the mastermind of your peers, as long as these

are productive things that you need to do and actually you put value on all of a sudden,

you're going to feel great about your day.

And because you're meeting other people, you are going to be held accountable to those

times by breaking it up and actually rewarding myself throughout the day, guys, that's

going to be a very productive day and I find that it helps me live a better life.

So, this next tip to stop wasting time online, I absolutely love, it makes me smile and that

is every man should have a bedtime.

Yes, I am serious.

I think that every man should have a set time that he starts to go into his evening routine

and just make it so that electronics so that going online is not part of that routine.

For me, I love it when my wife goes in and she reads to the kids because I get to sneak

away and go read my books.

And I – I've got all these fantasy books, science fiction, I absolutely love and relish

this time that I'm just able to sit there and read.

And, guys, you want to have something in your routine that you look forward to and it's

so much better than going online and having something force-fed you or just mindlessly

surfing the web.

No!

My phones are kept downstairs in the kitchen and I enjoy my evening routine.

So, my next tip to stop wasting time online is to purge your phone, purge your electronic

devices of apps you do not need, apps you do not use, apps that could suck you into

a place that you do not want to go.

If the app is sitting there, guys, it's just a temptation to fall into it and to wonder,

oh, what's going on on Facebook?

I've got nothing else going on.

Now, I did mention a bonus at the beginning, so here it is.

Why do we procrastinate?

Why do we waste time?

And, most people think it's because you're lazy or because you don't want to do what

needs to get done.

That is not the case.

What is it?

Why do we procrastinate?

I think the person that has done the best job explaining this is Mel Robbins in her

book, The 5 Second Rule.

Now, you can watch the video right here in which she explains it much better than me

exactly why we procrastinate.

Her explanation is just awesome, so go check out the video, guys.

I'm linking to it down in the description.

[Bleeping sound] Hey, you're still here.

Hey, did you know I can see some of you guys?

Raj, I see you out there.

Mike, Robert, John is that you?

Hey, man.

What's up?

No, I can't see you guys.

But here's what's happening is your information is being tracked, guys.

ExpressVPN, I'm linking to them down in the description.

Protect your data, guys.

Again, that's ExpressVPN.com/RMRS, three months free with the purchase of a twelve-month

package.

Guys, that's it.

Take care.

I'll see you in the next video.

And I am not tracking your information, come on.

But other people probably are.

of my favorite ways is the rock guitar leg is to throw on a cool sports coat or

don't need a closet full you just need one

make sure you take care of it what's the next item you need you need a scarf yes

the wool silk blend a wool cashmere blend but it needs to be lightweight you

need to be able to throw some of your turn Annette with or without a blazer

jean jacket leather jacket it doesn't matter this is a great style touch now

of course because it's lightweight it's not going to be the one you're gonna be

wearing when it's like 40 degrees or less outside but from about 40 to 65

degrees this is great and it makes any outfit look incredible gentlemen like I

always say it's not hard to look great each and every day if you focus on a few

simple things fit over fashion quality over quantity and know what just now

personality is but like I always say you don't sleep up to me hit us up in the

What Do Mormons Believe The Purpose Of Life Is - Duration: 10:18.

Hey, thanks for joining us. I'm Scott this is Jeff. -Hello hello. -We are a couple of

Mormon men. -Mormon daddies. -Just guys. -Yeah, he's married, he's got a daughter. I'm

married I've got five sons. And much more Mormon than my family. -Well

I'm trying to underscore the point that some people believe that Mormons have

these huge families. -Well, yeah see you've only got five. That's that's... I think

you're supposed to have 14. -My wife comes from a family of 11. -Good. -Good

malee, Ms. Miley, yeah. So, you know but Mormons and Catholics gets kind of the joke. Is that

you know, if you're Mormon or Catholic you probably come from a family of you

know 10 or more.

But anyway, our purpose in and bringing you this video today is to talk a little

bit about what Mormons believe. You've probably asked the question, you know,

"What do we believe the purpose of life is?" -That's a big question. -Where do we

come from? Why are we here? Where are we going? -In fact, that's what I was going to

mention. You know, when I went on my mission, I went to Barcelona Spain.

-He was a Mormon missionary with the shirt and tie and the suit and the name

tag on. -That one we would walk around and you may have been stopped in the street

by a couple more missionaries. And so our dialogue would go something like, "First

of all, what's your name? Second where are you from?"

You know, and they would, we'd chat a little. So, the third question is if we

were able to give you some information that would help you to understand where

you came from, why you're here and what happens after this life, would that be of

interest to you in getting to know and learning about? And people would say, all

the time, they would always say, "No." Which actually wasn't. It was tough.

But that's kind of what we're going to talk about right now is what is the

purpose of life? Where did I come from? Where why am I here and where am I going?

And and so we got some thoughts we want to share with that. -Yeah, yeah. I mean,

again, we're not professional teachers or anything on this subject. But we can

share what we know. We've been members of the Mormon Church for most of our lives.

You were born in the church? -Yeah. -Meaning his parents were already Mormons and he

was kind of born and raised in. I pretty much was. My mother received the

missionaries and took lessons from them and kind of learned about Mormons when I

was 4 or 5. And that was in Michigan and then we we moved out west

to Utah not long after that. But... So, getting right to it. What do we believe

the purpose of life is? Where do we come from? Etc. Mormons absolutely believe in a

pre-life existence. That we were spirits. The spirit children of our

Heavenly Father. And that we were with him and with Jesus who is also our

brother. In a pre-existence and that there, you know, this plan was created in

which we would be able to start to progress and become more like our

Heavenly Father and be able to return and be with him someday how he is in a

perfected and glorified state. We believe that God and Jesus and the Holy Ghost

are 3 separate beings. Part of a triumvirate, an

entity of God. The three of them are God but they're 3 individuals. 3

distinct individuals. And that even Jesus himself needed to come to earth to gain

his body. So that he could become also like the father is. And was at that time.

So, we believe that we were... This World was created that we were sent to the

earth to receive a body, to gain experience, to go through challenges and

trials and difficulties which paints kind of a gloomy picture. -Yeah. -I think of

it that. -It's... And you kind of think it reminds me of Adam and Eve. You know,

they start it all nice and rosy and then all of a sudden the fall happened and

now we got to go out and you know, thanks for your love

Heavenly Father. But honestly how else would

they have learned and had they remained in paradise? Because they didn't know

what it was like. They didn't know that there were opposites in all things, right?

And so, it's the same thing. I mean, if you boiled it down to two main things, the

purpose of life is first of all to gain a physical body because we couldn't

receive a fullness of joy without a body. And then second is to pass through these

tests, see how well we do. If we will obey and live by the commandments that God

has given us. It's... So, it's a testing. Okay, we're going to have physical tests, we're

going to have mental tests, emotional tests and hopefully you know, we do well

enough. And the nice thing about the whole thing that brings us all together

is that we know we're going to make mistakes. Everybody sins. We all know

those scriptures in the Bible. And also in the in the Book of Mormon. That's why

the Savior Christ is so important. -Two things, everybody's going to do it? Everybody's going to

sin and everybody's going to die. -Yeah. -And yeah, that is the role of Jesus Christ

our Savior. Do we believe in Jesus? Absolutely. He's the central principle

figure in our faith, for sure. You know, that he came to earth and his role was

to conquer those two things, basically. One was a free gift.

Everyone will resurrect because of his resurrection. Good, bad or otherwise.

Everybody will be resurrected eventually. And then at that point, is really where

are these tests and challenges and overcoming sin and and some of our other

vices and habits come into play. He made it possible

through his sacrifice, through his atonement. Which there's a lot going on

there. But just to kind of keep to the the theme here. He made it possible for

us to overcome sin if we follow him, if we take his name upon us, if we receive

of His grace and if we repent. It's kind of one of the defining

points that you know, that separates us from other Christian faiths is many

Christian faiths believe that grace alone is good enough. That you just

simply say, "I believe." -I hope I'm picked. -I believe in you Jesus, I

believe in you. And now I don't have to worry about anything else.

Yeah, because his grace is it completely will save me and completely... It's

absolutely true that we can't do anything without His grace. We will never

be saved without his grace no matter how many great works we do. We believe that.

But we also believe that our works are important. That they're critical. That we

do good things. Why would he give us Commandments if he didn't want us to do

them and follow them? Why would he say, "Come follow me?"

Those are things that are actions. He wants us to do... He wants us to live like

him, to talk like him, to be like him, to the best of our ability. And as Jeff said,

nobody's perfect. But because of his grace, if we will do those things, we then

can leave this life eventually. And where that resurrection is free, you know what

comes after this life is also free but it is dependent upon some of the

decisions that we've made in this life. And we believe as Mormons that there are

certain steps we have to take in order to be able to really return and be with

God according to the plan that he set out for us back in that pre-existance.

-You know I can say personally, that as I've tried to follow those steps, I'm

happy. -Happy here. -You know, yeah, here. The purpose of life (That's a big thing) is to

be happy. We know we're going to go through incredible challenges that you know, we

wish we couldn't. But you know, as we work through them and go through

these things, they're still happiness available and possible. And sometimes I

look back on past experiences that I went through that we're

miserable at the time. And now, I look back on those and I'm like, "I'm glad I

kind of stuck to it." And stuck with my beliefs and had friends like Scott

and and family members to help me through those times. Because it has added

to my overall happiness and joy. Having made through those things. So, yeah. It's

just... I feel very lucky. -Yeah. So, if you were to... If we were to kind of

you know, sum up what we believe the purpose of life is, I like the way you

said the purpose of life is to be happy. You know, there's a scripture that we

believe in that that's from a book called The Pearl of Great Price. Which

are other... There was a... Within the Dead Sea... Not the Dead Sea Scrolls. But there

was... There was some Scrolls that came into the possession of the Prophet

Joseph Smith in the 1800's. That he translated. And some of them have to do

with the writings and teachings of Moses and other. Abraham, were the kind of the

scrolls. But there's one in a book called Moses where he says that the Lord says

"This is my work and my glory. To bring, to pass the eternal life and salvation of

man." Men and women. Mankind basically. That his purpose is for us to eventually

return and to be with him someday. And we believe truly that we can

accomplish two things. We can do that through the Savior Jesus Christ. And

as Jeff mentioned, we can be happy while we're doing it. While we're enduring

challenges and trials. We can put our full trust in the Savior. And if we're

obedient and diligent and do our best. And repent when we need to. That we can

be happy here. And you know, the chances are really good that we'll be able to be

with him and glory later. And we believe there's an awful lot of different ways

that, that can happen. And that those... That heaven, after this life is

not just one place where all the good go and hell is one place or all the bad

will go. It's not quite that kind of... -Ride huh? -It's not quite... Well,

it's not quite that simple. You know, there's... -Yeah. There's you know,

my father's house are many mansions. You know, there's a lot of different places

for people of varying degrees of faith. Then they'll all be glorious. But I think

in this life, take advantage of the time, do good things, follow some steps. And if

you wonder what those steps are, you should probably go to lds.org. -Yeah. And

and kind of peruse the different pages there. Or talk to some missionaries whose

job it is is to teach these things way better than we would ever teach them. Any

comments? Just let us know. Questions that you may have now in your mind from what

we talked about just now. Write them down. We'd love to answer and make them maybe

even a topic for our next video. Thanks for joining us have a great day, week,

month, year, life. -Slash, Eternity.
