We are playing on The Hive, and we're doing block party in Minecraft, and so the way the game works is
You run around on this giant dance floor basically..
and you have to stand on the right block that matches what shows up in your inventory and
See since this is kind of like- since its clay blocks
Um.. Or I guess it's terracotta now
Or concrete I don't really remember the new blocks names, but, so the colors are more vibrant now
So that's kind of a good thing for this game and so yeah um
Used to, a lot of the colors would looks the same, and it'd be really really confusing
But yeah, oh no. Oh no, ahhh no.
Yeah, but this game is really really fun, and we just kind of start a round right off the bat like, Yeah, oh

That totally is not cyan
That's like Gray, but I mean it's still more vibrant in 1.12. So it works out good. Oh

Hey YouTube fam! Hope you are doing well. Today Andrew and I have an announcement!
(upbeat music intro)
An announcement is an understatement. I mean we've managed to keep this secret for what,
nine months something like that? Just about. But yeah, it'll all make sense when
we we share with you our big news. Our big news, our addition to the family.
Many of you who are regular viewers of this channel know that we have a fur son
Alton. Alton's going on four and we have been talking about getting him a little
brother or a little sister. Somebody to play with.
We have made an addition to the family and I don't know, how do you think he's going
to take it? You know, I don't know. Some days I think he really enjoys being the
center of attention but other times you know I think he'd like something to
play with. Yeah I know the feeling. There are times I want something to play with.
Should the timing be right to add the
addition of the family? That's a big question. I mean it's a lot of work.
Okay guys...
Here it is... the addition to the family. Can you guys see there? Yeah... okay, bouncy bouncy.

Wait, the addition to the family is a Nintendo Switch?
(sounds of kids cheering)
Yes it is! Sorry guys, it is.
Some of you may not may not know the importance of Nintendo in this household.
More important than a baby, and more important than a puppy.
Yes, don't be shy. Don't be shy. It's okay.
Shortly after we got together, the Nintendo Wii came on the market and I was
immediately obsessed with that gaming platform and I needed to have one. And
much like the Nintendo Switch which can be hard, to find the Nintendo Wii was
even harder to find. And we had a road trip planned for the summer during the
4th of July week and we looked at every Target, Walmart, Game Stop between
here and Tacoma Washington where we were headed. We happen to be at her dad's house
over the 4th and we mentioned that we had been kind of crazily driving up I-5
stopping everywhere to look for this gaming console and he said, "You know, I
think I saw that they had the Nintendo Wii on Base at the PX" and so he said "You
know tomorrow when they open up I'll go there first thing and if they have it I'll
buy it, you guys can pay be back. Great!"
Ahh, so sure enough, the next morning, first thing, he got up, went to the PX and they had a couple of Wii's.
Jody wasn't immediately drawn to the game.
Yeah I didn't see what the big deal was.
But over the years it has been our go-to activity as a couple.
Yes, and I told a modified version of that story, kind of the cliff notes,
this morning as I was standing in the parking lot of a Target at 7:30 in the morning
of a vacation holiday weekend (for the second day in a row) yes for the second day in a
row in the hunt in for-- hence the morning sickness, she doesn't like getting up in the morning.
Exactly. we had-- on the plus side there was no traffic. We are going to be having
some fun with this soon. So even though we teased you a little bit, yeah, with the
addition of the family, this is a significant addition to our family. Yes.
There will be much gaming. These are our WiiMotes where we---
Our most favorite game has been Mario Kart yeah and we many a night
we'll race for things like, so we wager, we don't wager money we wager like
chores, or bragging rights.
Bragging rights is big in this family. Yeah cart duty, when we go--
That's a big one, neither one of us enjoys pushing a shopping cart at the
grocery store and so we wager for who's going to have to push the shopping cart.
So if you ever see any of my grocery shopping vlogs and you hear us talk about
cart duty that's what that is.

Okay guys, so we're going to dig into this box. We'll try to get some not too boring unboxing footage for you.
We'll let you know what's in it and how it sets up and all that jazz.
