Hello and welcome back to CapOhTV, the channel where we know school is a joke, but you still
have to do something!

Have you ever heard the joke that goes a little something like this?
How many psychologists does it take to change a light bulb?
Just one, but the light bulb has to really want to change!
Why am I starting with such an old joke in a video about blaming teachers for your failure?
Because the person responsible for your actions is you!
Look, I know that the school setting sucks and if you don't do well in the one size fits
all school model, then you are going to suffer.
But it's still not the teacher's fault that you fail.
You might always be talking about how school is not for you, but, you know, most likely,
you're stuck.
Unless you have a pretty good plan and some cool parents to let you drop out and pursue
your dreams.
For the rest of you, you're just going to have to do your best to get through high school
and be done with it.
Here's the sad truth: teachers are pretty much puppets of the state.
I talked about this a little bit in the video about why teachers hate their jobs.
Teachers actually have very little freedom when it comes to what and how they teach.
So, basically, they're following a curriculum and going along a predetermined path and trying
to bring everyone along with them.
And you've got to admit, outside of AP classes and maybe some honors classes, the work that
you're asked to do is pretty easy.
It's pointless, it's trivial, but it's easy if you just show up and fill in the blanks!
You have to do just enough to pass the class And you can't blame the teacher because you
didn't do your homework.
And you can't blame the teacher because you didn't copy down your friend's answers on
that worksheet.
And you can't blame the teacher while you sat there in the corner on your phone while
the rest of your group worked on the group project.
And then you wonder why you got a low grade on a group project when you thought you were
getting graded as a group.
Give you a hint: a group project is actually an individual project done with other people!
You can't blame other people for you not doing anything.
You are responsible for your actions, not just in school, but in the whole rest of your
life!
Unfortunately, that's something that's not taught in school, so you may not be aware
of that.
It's not the teacher's fault, it's not your parent's fault, it's not your brother's fault,
it's not your goldfish's fault.
It's your fault if you don't do anything.
And now I'm talking about doing anything in your life in general.
It's one thing if you understand that school is a joke and you know that everything you're
learning in there you're not actually going to use in life.
But it's another thing to do something about it!
Instead of wasting your time and failing all your classes and blaming other people for
it, why don't you just do enough work to pass and then work on that one thing that you actually
care about.
But maybe you've got a hobby that you really enjoy that you want to dedicate more time
to.
Something that school won't tell you is that you can turn your hobbies into careers later
in life if you put in enough work and effort.
You've also got to make sure that there's an audience that will actually buy your product
or service, but that's a whole different video.
Don't forget that school does not equal education, you are responsible for what you know and
what you do.
So take action, pursue your interests, create your own education, and stop blaming teachers
when you fail.

World champion wishes Cavendish a good recovery from his broken collarbone.
World champion Peter Sagan (Bora-Hansgrohe) says that he accepts the decision of the Tour de France race jury to disqualify him from the race, but maintains that he did nothing wrong to cause the crash that forced Mark Cavendish (Dimension Data) to abandon.
Speaking to the press outside his hotel in Vittel after the UCI had rejected his teams right to appeal against the decision of the race jury, Sagan said that he had to accept the decision of the commissaires.

I wish Mark a good recovery. The crash with around 250m to go on stage four to Vittel left Cavendish with a broken shoulder blade and a wound to his hand, forcing him to abandon the race overnight.
Sagan is the first rider to be disqualified from the Tour de France for an offence not connected to doping since Cavendishs lead-out man Mark Renshaw was thrown out for headbutting Julian Dean in a sprint finish in 2010.
