DON'T LEAVE! £87m-rated striker Andrea Belotti told to forget about Manchester United interest

Torino coach Sinisa Mihajlovic has told Andrea Belotti to snub interest from Chelsea and Manchester United and stay where he is.

The striker was one of the best players in Italy last season and he finished the campaign with 26 Serie A goals to his name.

Several clubs from around Europe are now exploring the possibility of signing the Italian this summer and he has a €100million [£87mi] release-clause, which can only be activated by foreign clubs.

Torino, however, are still planning to have the 23-year-old around next season and now their coach, Mihajlovic, has also told Belotti to stay.

Will he stay? I hope so and so does [president Urbano] Cairo who isnt thinking of selling him, Mihajlovic told Gazzetta dello Sport.

Then theres the €100m release clause. If someone pays it then a flood of money will arrive, but then wed have to change the way we play.

Its not just about replacing Belotti, its worse than that. Its hard to find someone else who pulls their teammates forward and scores 26 goals..

(You Must Know) Why Don't the Rich Invest in Index Funds, Here is Why? - Duration: 5:33.

Warren Buffett might be the world's most famous investor, and he frequently touts the

benefits of investing in low-cost index funds.

In fact, he's instructed the trustee of his estate to invest in index funds.

"My advice to the trustee couldn't be more simple: Put 10% of the cash in short-term

government bonds and 90% in a very low-cost S&P 500 index fund," he noted in Berkshire

Hathaway's 2013 annual letter to shareholders.

Yet, despite Buffett's advice, the wealthy typically don't invest in the simple, low

fee, market-matching index funds.

Instead they invest in individual businesses, plus art, real estate, hedge funds, and other

types of investments with high entrance costs.

These risky investments generally require large buy-in costs and carry high fees, while

promising the opportunity for outsized rewards.

How the Wealthy Invest Steve Ballmer, former CEO of Microsoft, reports

a net worth in the range of $32 billion.

After leaving Microsoft, Ballmer bought the LA Clippers for a record $2 billion.

Despite leaving Microsoft, he owns 330 million shares of company stock, a 4% share of the

firm as of 2014.

At today's $69.94 price tag, that's a whopping $23.08 billion investment.

But Microsoft's largest shareholder has other investments as well.

Ballmer owns approximately $450 million in Twitter shares, plus real estate investments

in Hunts Point, Washington and Whidbey Island.

That means his wealth is concentrated in a few investments — a far cry from the "invest

in low fee index funds" touted by Buffett and most personal finance experts.

Thomas J. Stanley, author of The Millionaire Next Door, notes that most millionaires are

business owners.

So, it's no surprise that these entrepreneurs favor investing in businesses, their own and

others.

The wealthy also have the cash to buy what they love and watch it appreciate.

From rare art to real estate to collectibles, the wealthy enjoy their investments while

they grow in value.

Hedge funds are likewise popular with the wealthy.

These funds of the rich require investors to demonstrate $1,000,000 or more in net worth,

and use sophisticated strategies intended to beat the market.

But hedge funds charge approximately 2% of fees and 20% of profits.

Investors need to get huge returns to support those high fees!

The wealthy also own traditional stocks, bond, and fund investments.

Yet, their riches and interests open doors to other types of exciting and exclusive investments

that aren't typically available to the average person.

Why Don't the Wealthy Invest in Low-Fee Index Funds?

Over the past 90 years, the S&P 500 averaged a 9.53% annualized return.

You'd think the rich would be satisfied with that type of return on their investments.

For example, $10,038.47 invested in the S&P 500 in 1955 is worth $3,286,458.70 at the

end of 2016.

Investing in the whole market with index funds offers consistent returns, while minimizing

the risks associated with individual stocks and other investments.

But the wealthy can afford to take some risks in the service of multiplying their millions

(or billions).

To take one example, look at world-famous investor and speculator George Soros, who

once made $1.5 billion in one month by betting that the British pound and several other European

currencies were overvalued against the German Deutsche mark.

Hedge funds promise extraordinary gains, although in recent years have failed to outperform

the stock market indices.

But they can also pay off in a big way for their rich clients.

Last year, James Simons of Renaissance Technology earned his investors 21.5% net of fees.

And Simons himself earned a handsome $1.5 billion.

The wealthy are willing to risk hefty buy-in fees of $100,000 to $25 million for the opportunity

to reap great returns.

The one-percent's investing habits also tend to reflect their interests.

As most wealthy people earned their millions (or billions) from business, they see this

path as a way to continue maximizing their finances.

They also enjoy art, cars, homes and collectibles; buying those luxuries enhances their lifestyles,

and the future appreciation is a nice bonus.

The wealthy are different than you and me, with massive incomes, net worths, and opportunities.

Although they seek out unique investments in the hopes of spectacular returns, not all

their ventures pay off with returns greater than a low-fee index fund.

A simple investment strategy in low-fee index funds is good enough for Warren Buffett, and

it's good enough for the average investor.

Emily Ratajkowski : 'People don't want to work with me because my boobs are too big' - Duration: 2:11.

She rose to fame with a starring role in Robin Thicke's 2013 hit, Blurred Lines.

And Emily Ratajkowski has opened up to Harper's Bazaar Australia about her 'unique message'

of using overt sexuality as a self-proclaimed feminist.

The 26-year-old shed light on the backlash she has received on social media for her provocative

stance in the magazine's August 2017 issue.

'There's this thing that happens to me: "Oh, she's too sexy".

It's like an anti-woman thing, people don't want to work with me because my boobs are

too big,' she said.

'What's wrong with boobs?

They're a beautiful, feminine thing that needs to be celebrated.

Like, who cares?' she continued.

The aspiring actress touched on the scrutiny she is under for positioning herself as a

feminist while flaunting her body in scantily clad and nude imagery.

'I have no problem with the backlash, because I feel it illustrates my point over and over,'

she stated.

After featuring in a nude photo shoot for Harper's in 2016, Piers Morgan tweeted her:

'Do you want me to buy you some clothes?

You look freezing.'

She quickly responded: '@piersmorgan thanks, but I don't need clothes as much as you need

press.'

Earlier that year, the London-born model made headlines when she posed naked alongside Kim

Kardashian for a mirror selfie.

'The whole idea is that when Kim takes a nude selfie, she's just seeking attention.

That's not the issue.

A woman can be seeking attention and also make a statement.

They don't need to be mutually exclusive,' she told Harper's Bazaar at the time.

For her new Harper's spread, Emily wore Louis Vuitton, was photographed by Pamela Hanson,

styled by Naomi Smith, hair by John Ruggiero and makeup by Jo Strettell.

How To Hire Telemarketers And Make Sure They Are Effective And Don't Cheat On Their Billable Hours - Duration: 10:29.

Hey, this is Joe Crump.

In this video I'm going to show you how to hire telemarketers and make sure they're

effective and that they don't cheat on their billable hours and how to train them and how

to get the best prices that you can and where to find them.

When you're in the Automarketer, it's easier to do your job if you've got somebody

who's making your phone calls for you.

Ideally, it'd be nice not to be making those calls.

Remember, at the beginning when you're just getting started, when you're just learning

this process, make the phone calls yourself.

Put the time in.

This is your training and it's going to be vital for you to be able to understand

how to do it and to be able to do it yourself, for you to be able to train somebody else.

It's not just about the head knowledge of how to do it.

You have to know and believe that it can be done before you can teach someone else to

do it.

Because if they don't see you doing it or they don't see that you can do it, it's

going to be hard for them to believe that they can do it.

So learn how to do it first before you find other people to do it.

Plus, it gets expensive if you're hiring telemarketers to do the work for you and they're

not closing anything.

So make sure that deals are closing before you hire a team.

But once you hire someone, the first place you'll probably want to go is to Upwork.

You can either do this on craigslist or you can do it on Upwork.

Go to UpWork.com and you can create your own account and then you can post a job on there

and tell them what you're looking for.

Next, go to another website that I like, it's called Free Conference Calling and it's

exactly what it says it is.

You can have a conference call for free and you can record those conference calls.

Which means that when you hire someone on Upwork, you can have them come on to a conference

call with you, no matter where they're at in the world, they can log into it.

They can log in through Skype if they've got a Skype number or they can use your log

in using your Automarketer phone number, doing it that way.

And then you can train them and walk through the process with them and you can record that

training program.

Because when you're hiring telemarketers, the likelihood is that the first one's not

going to work out and you'll have to train somebody else and somebody else after that.

And even as you're doing it, as you're expanding, you're going to want to use the

same training over and over again, so you don't have to do it every time.

Once you record it, then you can just send them to the recording and the free conference

calling will give you a URL that you can give to them and they can come in and listen to

your recording.

Now, once you have them and you want to put them on your team management system, so you

create a new team member and you add them to the system and you assign them a phone

number and you're going to get them a phone number by going into the phone system into

this, and these phone numbers cost $3.00 a month.

They're not very expensive.

But if you want to keep them, you have to pay $3.00 a month for it.

You're going to buy them a new number and you're going to pick the area code of the

area that they're going to work.

So, don't get too broad with the areas that they're going to work.

If you want them to work in one area or two areas, get one number or two numbers based

on the areas that you're going to be working in.

I live in Indiana so I use a 317 area code.

But if you're in Los Angeles, maybe you want to use an 818 or a 310 or a 210 area

code.

And you can look for those numbers just by typing in the area code and hit Find a Number

and it'll look for a number.

And you want to keep scrolling through these until you find a number that's easy to remember,

on with lots of digits that are the same or repeating digits, that makes it easier to

do.

One thing is you cannot go back to one.

So as soon as you find one that's close to something you can remember, this would

be a fairly easy one to remember, then you can click Purchase the phone number and it'll

bill your account $3.00 and you'll have a new phone number in your system.

Once you have that phone number in your system, you can assign it a name and you can tell

those people, I mean, you can put your telemarketer's name on there so you'll know whose number

that is.

You can edit the voice mail message so you can have them go in here and record a voice

mail message so you can hit record, "Hey, this is Joe.

Leave a message after the beep and I'll get back with you as soon as I can."

And most of these people, you don't want to put a business name on their voicemail,

so just have them put their basic information on there.

Then you can play it and listen to it and if it's right, you'll save it and you'll

close this.

If you want to, if you have somebody who's working and moves around a lot, they can have

their numbers forwarded to them.

So if somebody calls, let's say a buyer calls and you've got a buyer finder, it

lets you just pick it up on his cellphone, you can have that number forwarded to his

cellphone number, whether his' in Canada or the US.

Also you can assign this number to multiple team members.

So if I want to give it to Joe and to Tom, I can do that and I can give it to whomever

I want to have it.

If you have multiple people who are working the same area you can do that if you need

to.

The next thing here is you can enable or disable recordings and right now, when you click on

this it tells you is a legal and what are the local regulations on recording phone calls.

And if you click this, it takes you to a Wikipedia page that explains local regulations and which

places require both parties to have recordings.

Now, it's automatically the default that it records all the messages that come in.

When they leave a message, that's recorded.

And those are recorded by default.

But, if you can record the conversations that your buyer finder or your seller finder is

having, you can actually use those recordings to train them, to make them better.

And, by the way, if you don't have somebody that you've hired to do this yet, you want

to record your own calls just so you can go back and listen to them and start to realize

just how bad you really are at this process.

So make sure that you record your calls if it's legal in your area and you use it for

training and you use it to go through that process and get better at it.

You know, one of the things I tell my mentor students is, record these conversations, download

them, and then listen to them on your phone while you're driving in the car and when

you hear the mistakes that you make you'll cringe but you'll also be able to say to

yourself, "You know, I could have said this," or, "I could have said that," or "Maybe

I'd be better at this," and it'll make you much, much better much, much faster.

I really strongly encourage you to do it.

You can also enable or disable transcriptions.

Transcriptions are automatically enabled.

If they leave you a message it's going to send you an email with a transcription of

it and it's going to put these transcriptions here.

But they're disabled unless, you know, for long conversations.

You don't really want to enable transcriptions for long conversations because they cost 5¢

a minute to transcribe and they're not, the transcriptions aren't very good.

It's fine with a short message, but even these short messages sometimes get to be a

little funny, I guess, when you're trying to listen to them.

Now, the other thing that you should look at, and I'm trying to cover a lot of information

here in a very short period of time, I can filter by the phone number.

So if I want to filter the phone calls from a specific phone number I can do that and

I can put in the dates of, you know, whatever those dates happen to be and then I can search

by type, inbound or outbound, so if I want to check on somebody who's sending outbound

calls and I'm going to send just the call logs and I hit Send and Refresh it's going

to give me a list of all the calls that were made.

I can listen to those calls, I can download those calls, I can download the text from

those calls if they were transcribed, and what's most important for a telemarketer

for us, is the duration of those calls.

So if these are long calls, you know, we could add them all up and we're actually going

to add a little function here that allows us to add all those up for a specific time

period.

That way we'll know how many hours our telemarketer put in.

And the way we pay our telemarketers is we pay them 150% of the time that they're on

the call.

Now we figure there's a certain amount of time they have to make the call and find the

lead and do all that stuff as well.

But I want to pay them for the actual time they're on the call.

I've had telemarketers in the past, they would bill me for 10 hours and I would say,

well, how many people did you talk to and they'd give me, you know, fifteen people

that they talked to over a ten-hour period.

And it's hard for me to say, no, you're just lying to me, when in fact I know they

are.

So, what I do instead, now we can record their calls.

We can see the duration of their calls and if that period of time that they're being

paid for shows that they did ten hours' worth of calls then I'll pay them for fifteen

hours' worth of their time.

And we make sure that they agree to this before they work for us.

And that's even how, we even put that in our Upwork ad to make sure that they understand

that before they talk to us.

This has been the biggest moneysaving feature that I've ever had in a system, to make

sure what they're doing.

And it also allows me to listen to what they're saying, to go in and spot check to make sure

they're not saying crazy stuff that could get me into trouble.

One thing to keep in mind when you're dealing with telemarketers is, is they're not doing

the job on the days that they're telling you they're doing it, fire them immediately

and get somebody else.

Assume that you're going to have to go through two or three, four, five and maybe ten people

before you find somebody that you're happy with.

But I have found some amazing telemarketers that can work for very cheap.

So give it a try and make sure that you interview them over Skype or over the phone and that

they're, they sound competent.

They don't, having an accent doesn't really create a problem, but having, being fluent

is very important.

So make sure that they're fluent in the language that you're working in.

All right.

- The biggest problem in your life,

the biggest problem of our times,

It's not global warming.

It's not recession.

It's not who's the president or who isn't the president.

It's ignorance.

It's hard to fix stupid,

and we live in a world that rewards stupid people,

and guess what?

You reward stupid people enough, they multiply,

and the next thing you know,

we're left with a brain dead society

that can't think for itself.

At every turn that I look, people...

I say to people,

"Look, you gotta be a little bit tough, too."

When I say "being smart," that includes mental toughness.

We live in such a weak-willed society

that you tell people one little thing,

"Oh, why don't you become an entrepreneur?

You hate your job."

"Ah, well, you know, what if I...

What if I quit my job,

start something new, and it doesn't work?"

Well then, mother fucker, you get another job.

You're not smart enough to figure that out,

contingency plans.

Life's a little bit like chess.

You gotta be able to think one move ahead,

two moves ahead, maybe three.

Don't be weak willed.

Don't be dumb.

into it this morning I'm talking about you don't have to be first

now that theme can seem a little ironic because for me and the people that I

teach and coach I'm often talking about that you want to go after and be number

one being first and being number one do not go hand in hand what I'm talking

about being first I'm talking about you don't have to be first to do something

in business you don't have to be the first to accomplish something in

business you don't have to be the first with a particular idea or a product or

an endorsement the the thing about being first oftentimes that may get you a

little bit ahead of the curve or ahead of the game but it's not necessarily the

people that are first to bring something to market that are the ones that have a

sustainable business or business model so when I'm talking about you don't have

to be first it does not mean that you should not be striving to be number one

I'm always about striving to be to the next level if you're if you're fourth or

fifth or tenth or 117 you should be striving to be up one level from where

you're at right now today what are you doing to today to improve your tomorrow

so what I'm talking about you don't have to be first you have to be at least good

at something to bring bring content or to bring a product or to bring a person

into into the environment into the market you have to be at least good or

better than that it doesn't mean you need to be an expert to start out you

don't have to be an expert to start out but you do need to learn

and remain teachable and over your time of learning the information sharing the

information pushing the information out to others that's how engaging in

collaborative works that's how over time people in general in potentially your

industry or even outside of your industry begin to view you as an expert

on a particular subject matter so keep in mind you don't have to be an expert

to start you just have to get started you have to get going and like I said at

the beginning there is a difference between being first to do something and

being number one once you are continually doing something being number

one means that you have the results to prove that you are number one you have

the successes you have the either the the revenue or the income or the people

when asked about your position can easily say oh the number one person in

this industry or in this sect of business is that individual so to gain

and here's one of the keys to gain number one status it is a matter of

continuing to do the right things and doing the right things the right way to

be number one it's about handling people properly it's about leading people

properly it's about building a business properly there is a certain way to

address and handle people there's a certain process and the fact of the

matter is there's a certain product or way that the product is presented you

can't sell a crummy product in any business especially now and expect to be

number one if you sell a crappy product it's it's out there it's on the internet

it's on social media if it's not a good quality product people are going to know

about it same way if it is a great quality product if you have a great

culture and things are presented masterfully if you are an expert in your

field people are going to know about that as well

right starting something great doesn't require a uniqueness keep that in mind

starting some gray does not require you to be unique

it requires you to take action it requires you to go after it it requires

you to start it doesn't require it doesn't mean hey my product has to be

absolutely unique to this other product or my personality or my individual has

to be absolutely unique to this but it does mean that you you need to start

think about this for a second let's look at Apple and meet me personally I'm not

an apple product user but I am a fan of the Apple philosophy and culture let's

take a look at Apple in the 1970s and 1980s Jobs and Wozniak those guys while

everybody else was talking about new technologies everybody else was excited

about new technology and they said hey there's this opportunity in the 70s and

80s and right before then we hit the big you know computer boom these two guys

actually took action they went out and and took out contracts with other

companies they took action and found a way to produce a product they didn't

just sit back and talk about it they moved right and and so by any means they

weren't the first to do something like that but they took steps to make it

happen so let's I'm going to move forward here let's talk about five

tangible steps that you can do to be at least good or certainly in your craft or

certainly better than your competition number one this is a big one number one

is follow through you have to have it's simple it's personal fortitude to follow

through and do what you say you will do so for example in sales if you say hey

mr. customer or mrs. customer I'll call you back it's simple call them back

right that's that's you manage the expectation that follow-through is

managing the expectation with the consumer that this the follow through

this number one follow through can carry you through a whole lot of this other

stuff while you're learning while you're building a business while you're

building a team well while you're managing yourself and selling the I'll

give you an example my wife recently reached out to a

business for one of our children because we wanted to conduct business with a

particular company she reached out and said hey we have an opportunity here

here's what I'd like to do I want to get my son engaged in this and that in the

other left a message we wanted some additional information and in fact we've

gotten an email saying hey call us or call this number for additional

information so we did that we executed on what was asked of us as the consumer

and guess what no follow-through no callback so at the end of the day we

don't do business with them why if there's no follow-through at the onset

while we summon is they're not going to follow through once we've engaged in the

product or service so number one is a big one if we're talking about a

tangible way that you can again you don't have to be first but you want to

talk about a tangible way to to build and be unique just follow through it's a

huge one number two keep it simple we have such a tendency to complicate

success people are constantly especially now constantly innovating and moving and

going and saying oh well what here's the next big thing here's the new way I'm in

the auto industry and it's like here's the next big way that people are going

to buy cars sometimes you just need to keep it simple and work on the

relationship and worry about what is important to the consumer actually

connect with them in a manner that they want if they want to call back call them

back right if they want to text back text them back if they started in an

email follow up with an email start establishing that relationship and

communicate on their level and from there you just go you know keeping it

simple as one of those things when you're struck with an idea for me when

I'm struck with an idea it's like sometimes you just go there's not a

whole lot of polish you're planning to it if you watch some of my my live

videos or some of the previous videos there's not a whole lot of depth of

planning and and that's that's seeable but people see the passion they go ok

well you're just going after something so sometimes you just take that step and

and keep it really simple once the idea strikes you go

number three know your target right know your market you have to know what or

whom you're going after what is the goal that you are pushing after to achieve

what is the end result that you want what do you want to see at the end and

I'm telling you this right now write it down when you write things down it is so

much more powerful because then there's a way for you to look back and hold

yourself accountable to it so you've got to know the target you've got to know

the market you've got to know the consumer number four know your product

it is amazing to me today in business peoples that are selling a product that

don't know about the product take the time to learn and value your product now

especially if you're an entrepreneur and it's something that you are selling if

you're selling you if you're the product for example sometimes we think well

that's easy right I can sell myself well the thing is you have to I would take

the time to write that down to what is the important piece what what is what is

my unique selling proposition for myself for my product what is what will my

product accomplish for this consumer that I am speaking to you have to know

the product when you don't know the product it also assumes and it begs it

assumes that you don't care if you know the product when you take the time to

study it it shows that you care enough that you've invested your time your

energy to learn it and be able to properly present it to the consumer and

show them what's important and help them push through it number five because I

told you there's five tangible steps change the world that's easy right at

least change your industry if that's what one of your goals is and I know I

connect with a lot of really awesome people in the auto industry and each one

of these individuals has the goal that they want to change their industry and

change the world you have to be willing yourself to be unique when you're going

to change something you have to be willing to be nervous

be anxious and be embarrassed and still overcome that and say you know what I'm

going to do me because this is what it's about for you to change that that think

about this there's so many industries that the leading experts the the people

that have been in it forever and and there are many many industries this

spans across all kinds of business that the industry experts are preaching the

same more of the same more of the mundane more of the well here's here's

you know that it's the seven words that kill business that's from Dave Anderson

right we've always done it that way before seven words that kill business

and so a lot of these these industry experts and they've become so lethargic

that they're missing that the innovation of when it strikes of like I said in

number two keep it simple all of a sudden boom it strikes put it out there

it's easy to put it out on video right now through a phone on social media blog

it right at podcast it it is so easy to put your information down and share it

and it's hopeful and likely that it will impact somebody so there it is that's my

message for today thank you for taking the time to join me on the front again

my name is Mike Phillips keep in mind you don't have to be first but you do

have to be at least good at it thanks again and tune in next time to the front
