Here is why Muslims should cherish historic objects - Session 265 - The Cow - Verse 248 - Duration: 7:29.

Session 265 Chapter 2

Verse 248 Their prophet said to them, 'The sign of

his authority will be that the Ark will come to you.

In it there will be tranquillity from your Lord and relics of the family of Moses and

Aaron.

It will come to you carried by the angels.

There is a sign in this for you if you believe.'

(Chapter 2: Verse 248) In the previous verse, we explained how the

elites of the Israelites objected to God's choice for a king.

They saw themselves as more worthy of kingship because of their wealth and lineage.

Thus, and in order to put an end to pointless discussions, a miracle was necessary.

More specifically, a material miracle for people obsessed with materialism.

A sign accompanied King Saul proving that God selected him.

The prophet said to them: "The sign of his authority will be that the Ark will come to

you."

This gives us a clue that the Ark had been lost.

It was a precious relic that the Israelites longed for.

What is the Ark of the Covenant?

It is a wooden chest that is mentioned in the Quran twice.

Once in the verse under study, and another in the following verses:

We inspired your mother, saying: "Put your child into the ark, then place him in the

river.

Let the river wash him on to its bank, and he will be taken in by an enemy of Mine and

his."

I showered you with My love and planned that you should be raised under My watchful eye.

(20:38-39) Hence, we know about the wooden chest from

the days of Moses' infancy.

His mom placed him in it and left it in the water out of fear for his life.

So this Ark had a long history starting from the infancy of Moses up to the kingship of

Saul and the prophet of the Israelites.

From this verse, you should also understand an important point: we –as Muslims- must

take care of objects that have historical religious value.

Caring and seeking these objects should not be considered a sign of infidelity or practice

of idolatry.

These objects serve as a reminder of significant historical events and a link to our faith

and history.

Consider the fact that God had the chest of Moses, which contained remnants of the family

of Moses and Aaron delivered by the Angles.

This proves that it is something special.

As if the Almighty is advising us: Take care of such objects because they remind you of

sacred events and of God's prophets.

Most likely the chest went missing because of an occupier that took over the towns of

the Israelites.

When an enemy overtakes a country, the first thing they do is obliterate the sacred sites

that possess religious and historical value.

Allah reassured the Israelites that the sign of Saul's kingship is to bring the chest

which they longed for, and along with it, bring them tranquillity.

Not only did the Ark represent a connection to their homeland, but it also represented

a spiritual connection that symbolized the survival of their great Prophet Moses against

all the odds.

Such objects can be great motivators and lifters of spirit.

For example, what would your emotions be if I told you that the Quran you reciting right

now belonged to the caliph Othman (may God be pleased with him)?

You would undoubtedly feel a spiritual connection with him and with the prophet each time you

hold it and read from it.

Likewise, when you visit the Islamic Arts Museum in Istanbul and you are told: "This

is the sword which was used by Ali (may God be pleased with him) in battles;" or you see

hairs from the Messenger of God (peace and blessings be upon him); undoubtedly, such

scenes will leave your soul tranquil and peaceful.

Scholars should not consider the preservation and admiration of such objects a gateway to

idolatry and polytheism.

To the contrary, we must take care of such relics and put them on display for people

so they can be a source of tranquillity and inner peace.

God says: 'The sign of his authority will be that the Ark will come to you.

In it there will be tranquillity from your Lord and relics of the family of Moses and

Aaron' indicating that the family of Moses and Aaron had preserved part of the material

history of their Prophets.

The ark and all the objects in it were of such value that God had them handled with

the utmost care and delivered 'by the angels.'

Take note of the accuracy of the Quranic expression.

God says regarding the chest: "It will come to you carried by the angels."

God attributed the action of coming to the chest itself.

What does that mean, you may ask?

We answer that we as humans cannot see angles, thus when the angles delivered the Ark, it

would have appeared to the Israelites as if it is floating in thin air.

Therefore, the Almighty attributed the action of coming to the chest itself.

This scene would make the heart shiver and would lay aside all doubts of the stubborn

Israelites.

In fact, the Quran does not mention what happened after the Ark was delivered, because such

a miracle does not leave any room for doubt.

Saul was proven as God's choice and appointed as king.

People often want to know the contents of the ark and the preserved keepsakes of Moses

and Aaron.

Some scholars said that it was Moses' staff.

This sounds reasonable because it was one of the tools of Moses' miracle.

Moses or the believers would not neglect such a priceless tool.

God says: 'Moses, what is that in your right hand?'

"It's my staff," he answered; "I lean on it, and fell leaves for my goats with it, and

I have other uses for it."

God said, 'Throw it down, Moses.'

He threw it down and- lo and behold!- it became a slithering snake.

He said, 'Pick it up and do not fear: We shall turn it back into its former state.'

(20:17-21)

Here's What's So Exciting About Celebrity Edge! - Duration: 5:49.

A very unusual cruise ship has been under construction at the STX shipyard in France.

It's the Celebrity Edge, the first of an entirely new class of ships by Celebrity Cruises...

The premium cruise line operated by Royal Caribbean.

And Celebrity Edge has got some really unusual features and design elements!

Construction has been underway for about the last two years...

And the maiden voyage of the Celebrity Edge is coming up this December.

Things are really coming together onboard the ship now...

And I finally got some real video of the ship to share with you so you can see how she's turning out.

Now this right here is an animated artist's rendering of the signature feature of the Celebrity Edge...

That sets it apart from just about any cruise ship you've ever seen.

It's an exterior deck called "The Magic Carpet" that moves up and down the side of the ship like an elevator.

Here is actual video of the nearly completed Magic Carpet.

It's a multi-purpose part of the ship.

At times that'll be where you board or disembark the ship.

At other times it's a dining venue, and also a bar.

From a distance it kind of looks like there's a construction scaffold attached to the ship.

But that's the Magic Carpet, and no other ship has anything like it!

Here's an artist rendering of "the Grand Plaza".

And this is actual video of how construction is coming along on it.

There's still a lot of work to do, but when it's all done this is going to be one of the big focal points of the ship...

A place you'll go to be with people, have a drink, and be social.

As you can imagine, there's a lot of work involved in constructing a big cruise ship like this.

And they've got hundreds of craftsmen working full-time to get it ready for the first cruise, in December.

Another unique space on Celebrity Edge is called Eden.

You know, like the Garden of Eden.

We're looking at some artist's renderings here.

You can see Eden will have lots of foliage... thus the name.

Now here's actual video of the unusual ceiling of Eden.

The green color will be a great complement to all the plants that'll be in this space.

You can see construction is coming along but there's still a lot of work to do on Eden, at this point.

Another distinctive feature of the ship is the area on the top deck known as the Rooftop Garden.

This animation was the design concept of what the space would look like...

And here's actual video to show you what it looks like at this point in the construction process.

It's a really distinctive look.

You have to hand it to the design team for coming up with something that really sets the ship apart from all the others.

Can't you just imagine relaxing out here in the Sun on a Caribbean cruise?

Here's a photo of the ship's theater...

And there's something really unusual about the theater that you might not notice at first glance.

I think it'll be easier if we take a look at an artist's rendering of the theater in action.

Now what strikes me about that artist's rendering is that this looks very much like 270...

The amazing theater at the back end of Royal Caribbean's Anthem Of The Seas.

So I'm pretty sure that Celebrity is going to use that same technology that they used on Anthem Of the Seas...

For an amazing theater like I've never seen before.

If you look at this picture of the back of the ship.

You can see it looks very much like the back of Anthem Of The Seas... with that amazing theater.

So, I'm pretty sure that that's what's going on here on the Celebrity Edge.

And finally... Have you heard about the staterooms with what Celebrity is calling an "Infinite View Veranda"?

I wish I had better pictures of it, but...

What they've done is taken the Veranda (the balcony) and really integrated it into the cabin.

The glass doors that separate the cabin from the veranda can be closed, when you want to keep the weather out...

Or they can be fully opened, to make the cabin and the veranda just one big space.

I think this is a brilliant idea and I could totally see myself enjoying a cabin like this.

Celebrity Edge will be based in Hollywood, Florida at Port Everglades and the completely renovated terminal 25...

The biggest investment that Port Everglades has ever made in a cruise terminal.

And you can expect it'll have all the latest innovations to improve the process of both boarding and disembarkation.

Well that's an update on the construction of the Celebrity Edge...

A very innovative cruise ship that is going to make a big splash... (pardon the pun!)

When she makes her debut in December.

Christine Blasey Ford Nailed On Major Polygraph Slip Up – Here's What She's Hiding

Now that Dr. Christine Blasey Ford testified we can safely say we have more questions about

her story than we did before she testified.

One particular question that's very odd is when she was asked about the polygraph

test and she actually said she doesn't think she paid for it.

What?

How can you not know if you paid for something or you didn't?

Only in Liberal Land can someone forget if they paid for something so important when

they are testifying in front of the U.S. Senate and the world.

"Christine Blasey Ford, the California psychology professor who leveled allegations of teenage

sexual misconduct against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh, said she does not know who

paid for a polygraph examination regarding the incident while testifying before the Senate

Judiciary Committee Thursday.

UPDATE — 1:44 PM: Ford's counsel, Debra Katz, after a break in the hearing, says:

"Let me put an end to this mystery – her lawyers have paid for her polygraph.

As is routine."

Blasey Ford told prosecutor Rachel Mitchell Thursday afternoon that she did "not yet"

know who paid for the polygraph exam she underwent on August 7, one week after her allegations

against Kavanaugh reached Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-CA).

Ford testified Thursday before the Senate Judiciary Committee, leveling her accusations

against President Donald Trump's Supreme Court Justice nominee.

The Republican members all ceded their time for questions to Mitchell, a veteran sex crimes

prosecutor.

In this exchange, Mitchell asked whether Ford recalled who had paid for the polygraph exam:

MITCHELL: Did you pay for the polygraph yourself?

FORD: I don't think so.

MITCHELL: Do you know who paid for the polygraph?

FORD: Not yet, no.

Mitchell also asked why Jerry Hanafin, the polygraph administrator, did not conduct the

examination in his Virginia office, rather at a hotel next to Baltimore–Washington

International Airport.

"I had left my grandmother's funeral at that point at Fort Lincoln Cemetery that day

and I was on a tight scheduled to get to make a plane to Manchester, New Hampshire," Ford

told Mitchell.

"He was willing to come to me, which was appreciated."

Mitchell followed up, "So you were administered a polygraph on the day that you attended your

grand mother's funeral ?"

"Correct, or it might have been the next day," Ford replied.

In a hot mic moment, Ford then turned to one of her attorneys, Debra Katz, and said, "I

don't remember the exact day."

Asked if she had ever been advised on how to take a polygraph or offered any "tips"

regarding an examination, Ford said she had not.

She said that while she was "scared" to take the test, she believed it would accurately

gauge whether her responses were truthful.

"I didn't expect it to be as long as it was going to be," she added.

"It was a little bit stressful."

Why is it that when Liberals testify against conservatives the mainstream media never call

them out on what they say?

And why is it that everytime a Conservative man seems to have an issue with some women

in his past that woman always turns out to be a far left wing liberal?

Why don't conservative women ever seem to come out and accuse anyone?

Maybe they do, but when Paula Jones and Juanita Broaderick came out and accused Bill Clinton

instead of investigating the only thing that happened is that Hillary Clinton referred

to them as "Bimbo Eruptions."

Dr. Ford made a fool out of herself in today's testimony.

She came across as someone who didn't know what had happened and who when asked about

that night actually had to read a notepad in order to remember.

That doesn't sound normal when you have been traumatized so severely that you claim

to not be able to go into small spaces, although you do fry in airplanes and you do go scuba

diving which is terrifying for anyone who suffers from claustrophobia as Ford claims

she does.

The left-wing media is as I write this already conspiring with the Democrat Party as to how

to spin this so this woman looks somewhat credible.

But the truth of the matter is the damage has already been done and the American people

already saw first hand what kind of Democrat Party orchestrated farce this whole thing

is.

Perhaps the saddest part about all this is how, even if confirmed, Kavanaugh's reputation

has already been tarnished to a level no innocent individual should have to endure.

Let's hope and pray that all this fake narrative from the left is uncovered and those who conspired

and lied go to prison.

If not then we can safely say America has lost its greatness and all we are is just

another banana republic like so many others in the world.

Please pray for Judge Kavanaugh, His family, President Trump, and the United States of

America!

So let's get started.

There are 3 types of anti dog barking devices.

First, ultrasonic bark control devices.

These are usually in form of a stand-alone device that you can put for example on a tree

branch.

They work by emitting a high-pitched sound that is inaudible to most humans, in the event

that the dog barks within its range.

The device will stop emitting the sound as soon as the dog stops barking.

They are great for stopping neighbor's dog from barking.

Second, bark control collars.

Collars are very effective at stopping dog barking.

They can work on the same principle as the 1st type of devices.

By using ultrasonic sound to stop barking.

Or, they can use a shocking pulse to stop barking.

We don't recommend using the second option shocking collars because they can scare a

dog and also stimulate dog aggression.

Third, spray collar.

These devices use a burst of citronella spray to stop or reduce excessive dog barking.

Dogs don't like how citronella tastes and as a result, it startles them out of barking.
